- 1:55solo today
- 1:57What you guys don't know is Scott just
- 1:58texted me and Vic like three minutes ago.
- 2:00I was like,
- 2:01is any of y'all coming on?
- 2:02Because I was on a work call trying
- 2:04to get off.
- 2:05Vicky was doing God only knows what,
- 2:06trying to get off.
- 2:07I'm assuming it's something work-related,
- 2:08more than likely, if I had to guess.
- 2:11And we were both like, yeah,
- 2:12we're on the way.
- 2:12Relax.
- 2:12You know,
- 2:14I know I talk a lot on this
- 2:15show about hating my job,
- 2:17but at least I don't have Vicky's job.
- 2:21Whoa.
- 2:22Yeah.
- 2:23Like, I thought mine was bad,
- 2:25and then I got to know Vicky,
- 2:26and now I'm like, thank God.
- 2:29Maybe I should just appreciate what I
- 2:30have.
- 2:32Hey, bro.
- 2:32Sometimes you got to go, you know what?
- 2:34It's not that bad.
- 2:42Yeah.
- 2:42Yeah.
- 2:42I wanted to get my hair cut before
- 2:43I left for Montana on Wednesday,
- 2:46but I'm kind of running out of time.
- 2:49Yeah, I would say so.
- 2:51Today's Monday.
- 2:53Since I have to work a full day
- 2:54today and work a full day tomorrow,
- 2:57the windows in which to get a haircut.
- 3:00Well,
- 3:00I don't know how it is where you're
- 3:02at, but traditionally,
- 3:04barbershops are closed on Mondays.
- 3:06Yeah.
- 3:07Well, my girl is obvious,
- 3:10definitely closed on Mondays.
- 3:12Um,
- 3:13I cannot get him to with her before
- 3:15I'm going to have to go to like,
- 3:16uh, super cuts or sports clips.
- 3:22Excuse me.
- 3:23Oh,
- 3:23what's the one way to give you a
- 3:24beer when you walk in?
- 3:24I used to go to that one when
- 3:25I still live in Homer.
- 3:26Yeah.
- 3:27I don't know.
- 3:28I remember I quit drinking a while back.
- 3:30I don't know.
- 3:31It just, I just remember like,
- 3:34it was pretty cool when you walked in,
- 3:35he's like, would you like a beer?
- 3:37you know what?
- 3:38At the time, I was like,
- 3:39you know what?
- 3:40I would absolutely like a beard.
- 3:41It was like fifteen years ago.
- 3:44Twelve, fifteen years ago,
- 3:44something like that.
- 3:46Ramirez says it's the bearded goat.
- 3:48That's not where I go.
- 3:49That's not what it was.
- 3:51I would remember if it had been called
- 3:52the bearded goat.
- 3:53Ramirez is the bearded goat.
- 3:55Let's be honest here.
- 3:57The goat of beards.
- 3:58A hundred percent.
- 3:59That thing is amazing.
- 4:01It deserves its own.
- 4:02It should have its own Instagram page.
- 4:05Retired Steve, don't know if you noticed,
- 4:06but Coach Tomlin got his hair shaved down.
- 4:08Yeah, he's totally bald now.
- 4:10Well, yeah.
- 4:13He didn't want to catch no more strays.
- 4:15He got tired of catching random ass strays
- 4:17from people he probably doesn't really
- 4:19even know that well.
- 4:20That's messed up, dude.
- 4:23Marcus Freeman.
- 4:24Yeah,
- 4:25I color my own stuff just like Mike
- 4:26Tomlin does.
- 4:27And Mike Tomlin's like, what the hell,
- 4:33man?
- 4:36What's funny, like, that people do, like,
- 4:38their hairlines go so far back and all
- 4:41of a sudden, poof,
- 4:42now the hairline's up at the forehead
- 4:44again.
- 4:44Yeah.
- 4:44Like,
- 4:46we think that grew back just overnight
- 4:48because of...
- 4:50Matthew McConaughey is a perfect example.
- 4:53Because you go look at, like,
- 4:54his older movies, right?
- 4:57like the dudes it was thinning it was
- 5:00thinning it was receding it was going away
- 5:02completely and then i saw him on tv
- 5:06this weekend because he was at the tech
- 5:07at the ut game obviously and that dude
- 5:09has got more hair than me he has
- 5:11got a full shock wherever he is buying
- 5:14his hair is like that's who everybody
- 5:17should go to because absolutely because it
- 5:19looks amazing it does
- 5:23Yeah.
- 5:25Look, Stephen A. Smith's hairline.
- 5:26Yeah,
- 5:26but he doesn't like try to fake it.
- 5:29No.
- 5:30He's just letting it go.
- 5:33Stephen A.
- 5:33Smith's hairline has been slowly,
- 5:36like he's been getting a five head and
- 5:37then a six head and then a seven
- 5:38head like for years now,
- 5:40but he's good with it.
- 5:41So let it roll.
- 5:42Yeah.
- 5:45Embrace it.
- 5:48Woody Harrelson's brother.
- 5:50Did you hear him tell that story?
- 5:53So they're making a show about the whole
- 5:56situation.
- 5:57Bro, I just heard,
- 5:59like it came across my feed at some
- 6:01point this weekend, and I was like,
- 6:04where he's telling the story of how
- 6:08wherever they were at dinner,
- 6:09Woody happened to be there and whatnot,
- 6:10and Woody's all like, brother Matt,
- 6:14brother Matt.
- 6:14Yeah.
- 6:17Oh, that's fantastic.
- 6:18Well,
- 6:18they have a show coming out called
- 6:20Brothers on Apple TV like this week,
- 6:24maybe, or this week or next week.
- 6:28It looks amazing.
- 6:32Because it's just McConaughey and
- 6:35Harrelson being McConaughey and Harrelson.
- 6:37I would watch that.
- 6:39I would absolutely watch that.
- 6:42Love both of them dudes.
- 6:42Been loving Woody Harrelson since Cheers.
- 6:46yeah like he was fantastic in that eight
- 6:48eight hundred years ago um and if it's
- 6:51if it's up with him and i'm probably
- 6:53gonna at least give it a look at
- 6:55the very least give it a look i've
- 6:57loved him since kelly kelly kelly kelly
- 6:59kelly kelly kelly kelly i can't believe
- 7:03that's actually a thing yep it's a show
- 7:06coming out it's awesome that's fantastic
- 7:13so basically just the two of them hanging
- 7:15out smoking weed and doing cool shit so
- 7:19it's it's the premises that they find out
- 7:22that they are brothers in some well
- 7:27related in some way i should say yeah
- 7:30and i i think woody harrelson's family's
- 7:34in it i think like
- 7:38From the story I heard,
- 7:38McConaughey's mom is definitely in it.
- 7:41Yeah.
- 7:46He was great in Zombieland.
- 7:47He was fantastic in Zombieland.
- 7:49I love Zombieland.
- 7:51And I've never seen the second one.
- 7:53I haven't either.
- 7:54I actually have it in my queue to
- 7:56watch on vacation this week.
- 8:02So we...
- 8:05We are,
- 8:06we got to the episode before the season
- 8:10finale of the first season of Lioness,
- 8:14right?
- 8:14So we finished that episode and I asked
- 8:18Jennifer, I was like, hey,
- 8:18because she had the remote.
- 8:20I said, let me,
- 8:22how many episodes of this are there?
- 8:24She pulls it up and she's like,
- 8:25there's only one more.
- 8:26You want to go to bed?
- 8:27And I was like, oh yeah,
- 8:28it's nine fifteen, dude.
- 8:33Love you.
- 8:33Because she would have been down to fall
- 8:35asleep in front of the season finale.
- 8:37You can, if you want to.
- 8:41I'm perfectly fine with that.
- 8:42I'm going to bed.
- 8:46We watched the movie Mayday this weekend.
- 8:49I say we loosely because Julie snored
- 8:54during a good portion of Mayday.
- 8:56Yeah.
- 8:58Um, is this what happens at your house?
- 9:00Look, um,
- 9:03we'll put something on and then either
- 9:06that night or like when we finally,
- 9:08when we go to bed,
- 9:09when I wake Jennifer up to get off
- 9:10the,
- 9:11either she's on the recliner or she's on
- 9:13the couch next to me.
- 9:15Like, okay, let's go to bed.
- 9:18Dude,
- 9:18like you've been sleeping for thirty
- 9:20minutes.
- 9:20Let's go to bed.
- 9:22And then the next day, I'll be like,
- 9:24so how far did you make it?
- 9:25Like, what do you remember?
- 9:26And she would describe something from the
- 9:28first eight minutes of whatever it is that
- 9:30we watched.
- 9:30And I was like,
- 9:32I didn't make it any further past that.
- 9:33Did anything happen after that?
- 9:34I was like, well, yeah.
- 9:36The entirety of the show happened after
- 9:40that.
- 9:40My favorite is she'll fall asleep for
- 9:43twenty minutes.
- 9:43She'll wake up and go,
- 9:45why are they doing that?
- 9:46Yeah.
- 9:48It was explained in detail.
- 9:51Yeah.
- 9:52And the frustrating thing is now I've got
- 9:54to pause the movie
- 9:57Or the show and explain everything like a
- 10:00damn TV guide back to my wife as
- 10:04to what transpired in the last twenty
- 10:06minutes.
- 10:07And then we get it all reset.
- 10:09We hit play again.
- 10:11We get about ten minutes in and then
- 10:13all of a sudden.
- 10:17Why did I waste my time?
- 10:22Luckily, Jennifer,
- 10:24even on the days that she doesn't work
- 10:26from home, she's home well before I am,
- 10:30and usually before Jameson gets off the
- 10:31bus.
- 10:31So she'll get caught up on whatever it
- 10:33is.
- 10:34She'll rewatch whatever it is we were
- 10:36watching the next night.
- 10:38But nine times out of ten,
- 10:40that's the conversation that we're having.
- 10:42Like, how far did you make it?
- 10:44Well, the opening credit's finished,
- 10:47and then I don't know what happened after
- 10:49that.
- 10:50Okie dokie.
- 10:52But I got to say,
- 10:53I appreciate everybody's recommendation
- 10:55because Lioness is outstanding.
- 10:59Mayday was all right as advertised.
- 11:01I think it's all where you set your
- 11:03expectations.
- 11:05If I'm watching...
- 11:07ryan reynolds movie where he is on a
- 11:10down plane in russia in the i gotta
- 11:15know there's a little bit of parody to
- 11:16this thing oh is that what that is
- 11:19i remember seeing the treat i didn't
- 11:20remember what it was called yep that
- 11:23looked fun and kenneth brana is a russian
- 11:28ex-kgb agent who finds him i i was
- 11:32entertained i wouldn't say like again
- 11:37It's not up for Academy Awards or Best
- 11:40Picture or anything like that,
- 11:41but I didn't need that on a Friday
- 11:43night after a long work week.
- 11:47It sounds like, anyway,
- 11:49it looks like a popcorn movie,
- 11:50like something you just go be entertained.
- 11:53I don't need every movie.
- 11:58I don't need to cry at the end
- 11:59of every movie.
- 12:00I don't need some big thought-provoking
- 12:01thing.
- 12:02I just want to go and have fun.
- 12:06At the end of the day,
- 12:07if you like Ryan Reynolds' sense of humor
- 12:10that he uses in every movie he does,
- 12:13then you'll probably enjoy it.
- 12:14If you don't, you probably won't.
- 12:18There you go.
- 12:19Like every Arnold Schwarzenegger movie
- 12:22from the late nineties.
- 12:26It's going to have one-liners.
- 12:28It's probably going to have some machine
- 12:30guns.
- 12:30Probably going to have some punching.
- 12:33I mean, even Kidney Gordon Cop, dude,
- 12:35he shot people at the beginning because he
- 12:36was the police.
- 12:38Right?
- 12:40I mean, come on.
- 12:42Ryan Reynolds can't act.
- 12:43He has one persona, Van Wilder.
- 12:46But sometimes there's comfort in that.
- 12:49It's like seeing an old friend.
- 12:52The vast majority of them are the same
- 12:53person in every single movie.
- 12:56Kevin Costner plays Kevin Costner in every
- 12:59role.
- 13:00Tom Cruise, with very few exceptions,
- 13:03has been Tom Cruise in every single movie.
- 13:06And he makes the exact same movie every
- 13:08single time.
- 13:09There's a hero.
- 13:11He has some sort of struggle that he
- 13:12has to overcome.
- 13:13He overcomes that struggle,
- 13:15and then they perform a task, right?
- 13:19It's the same thing for, like,
- 13:20Jerry Maguire is Top Gun,
- 13:23is every Mission Impossible movie he's
- 13:25ever done, is Days of Thunder.
- 13:26He's making another Days of Thunder,
- 13:28for Christ's sake.
- 13:30Yeah.
- 13:32Top Gun two did so well.
- 13:34Yes.
- 13:35Yes.
- 13:35Let's take care of my grandchildren's
- 13:37grandchildren.
- 13:38Absolutely.
- 13:40And you know what?
- 13:41I'm going to, I am a huge,
- 13:43I can recite you days of thunder pretty
- 13:45much from the beginning all the way
- 13:47through to the end.
- 13:47And I'm going to go see days of
- 13:48thunder too.
- 13:50You can bet on it.
- 13:52And I'll say this.
- 13:53The actors that are like Christian Bale or
- 13:57like Russell Crowe or like Heath Ledger
- 14:00that can be different in every role,
- 14:02those are few and far between.
- 14:04Few and far between.
- 14:06Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight was
- 14:10unrecognizable.
- 14:12Wouldn't have guessed in a million years
- 14:14that was Heath Ledger.
- 14:16Unrecognizable, not the same guy,
- 14:18not the same guy who was in, uh,
- 14:20ten things I hate about you.
- 14:22Not the same guy who was in, um,
- 14:25A Knight's Tale,
- 14:26which is also one of my favorite popcorn
- 14:28movies, which is extremely fun.
- 14:29Like you didn't recognize him.
- 14:32Literally.
- 14:33There's a couple,
- 14:34a couple of scenes where you can almost
- 14:36see his face and see that it's him.
- 14:38But for the most part,
- 14:40he was the Joker.
- 14:42Those, those guys are not,
- 14:44are not a dime a dozen.
- 14:46What blew me away,
- 14:47Christian Bale playing Dick Cheney.
- 14:49Yeah.
- 14:51There's no way,
- 14:53no way you could tell me that was
- 14:57Christian Bale in that movie unless you
- 14:59were told.
- 15:01Yeah, and those guys aren't.
- 15:03Yeah.
- 15:04I mean,
- 15:04De Niro's considered one of our greatest
- 15:06actors ever.
- 15:06He plays the same damn part in every
- 15:08role.
- 15:09He gets cast as Robert De Niro in
- 15:10every single movie.
- 15:12But there is a comfort in that.
- 15:14And that's why people are drawn to those
- 15:15people.
- 15:16Like,
- 15:16I am a massive Sylvester Stallone fan.
- 15:19And Sylvester Stallone does not play
- 15:22anybody different.
- 15:23And I'm okay with that.
- 15:25Al Pacino, dude.
- 15:26Yep.
- 15:28Because she's got a great ass.
- 15:33And you got your head all the way
- 15:35up it.
- 15:35One of my favorite things he's ever said
- 15:39on screen.
- 15:43If you've never seen Heat, sorry,
- 15:45I just ruined one of the scenes for
- 15:46you, but there you go.
- 15:49No one has more range than James McAvoy.
- 15:52I'll give him... Yeah,
- 15:53I'd say he probably falls off.
- 15:55He can fall off.
- 15:56He can disappear into stuff.
- 15:59Colin Farrell is the most underrated actor
- 16:01out there, can act any genre,
- 16:03doesn't mind changing his appearance to do
- 16:04so, a la The Penguin.
- 16:07Yeah, Colin Farrell's great.
- 16:09He's another one that when I first saw
- 16:11him, when I first, first of all,
- 16:12when I first heard they were casting him
- 16:14as The Penguin, I said, they doing what?
- 16:17Cause it didn't make any sense to me
- 16:18whatsoever.
- 16:19And then you actually see him as the
- 16:22penguin and he's another one.
- 16:23He's unrecognizable.
- 16:24Like he does not look anything like the
- 16:26Colin Farrell that everybody knows.
- 16:28It doesn't look like bullseye.
- 16:29It doesn't look like, uh, you know,
- 16:32when they did the remake of, uh, Oh,
- 16:35the eighties, the Schwarzenegger movie,
- 16:37total recall.
- 16:38Like he's not that guy.
- 16:40He's not anybody else, but penguin,
- 16:44like the penguin that they made is it's
- 16:46outstanding.
- 16:49He was great in Terrible Bosses.
- 16:51I was thinking the same thing, Patrick.
- 16:53That role was off the chain.
- 16:56Yeah.
- 16:57So good.
- 16:58Pacino is Corey's best impersonation.
- 17:02So far.
- 17:06You got to understand how many times I've
- 17:07seen Heat and how many times I laugh
- 17:10at that scene like it's the first time
- 17:13I saw it every time I see it.
- 17:16Just because he gets all up in,
- 17:19I know that the actor's name,
- 17:21because he's a voice actor, he does like,
- 17:24he does eight hundred different Simpsons
- 17:25categories.
- 17:28Yep.
- 17:29Anyway,
- 17:30it's like all up in his face and
- 17:32you can see the terror on his face
- 17:35as he's just growling at him.
- 17:36He goes, ferocious, aren't I?
- 17:41It's just something about a woman's ass.
- 17:42It just gets me going.
- 17:46Yes, Al Pacino.
- 17:48I get it.
- 17:49I'm with you.
- 17:50Hank Azaria.
- 17:51Thank you.
- 17:51I understand.
- 17:52Yes.
- 17:54Yeah.
- 17:56Hank Azaria I used to love and then
- 17:58he just kind of disappeared.
- 18:02I don't know.
- 18:03He married Helen Hunt and then they got
- 18:05a divorce and all of a sudden his
- 18:06career went to shitter.
- 18:10I'm sorry.
- 18:12As soon as you say Helen Hunt,
- 18:14one of my oldest friends,
- 18:16I was the best man at his wedding.
- 18:17His name is Tony Girardi.
- 18:19We would send each other pictures of Helen
- 18:21Hunt every now and again because she looks
- 18:23kind of mannish.
- 18:26Like her face,
- 18:28especially as she's gotten older.
- 18:31kind of mannish right and then so like
- 18:35now every time a matter of fact like
- 18:38three weeks ago out of the blue tony
- 18:40just texted me a picture and it's helen
- 18:41hunt and something she's been in recently
- 18:43and he's like definitely mannish
- 18:50Well,
- 18:51I know you were in the chat a
- 18:52little bit last night.
- 18:52You probably went to bed before it was
- 18:54over.
- 18:54Speaking of shitter.
- 18:56I caught the rest of it this morning.
- 18:58Speaking of shitter,
- 19:00we'd be remiss to not talk about Poopgate
- 19:04as it has hit my DMs this morning
- 19:06as well.
- 19:07Oh, I bet.
- 19:07Yeah.
- 19:13don't even know what to do i i
- 19:14feel like there's this mob mentality now
- 19:18where everybody has to dog the situation
- 19:21because the ball got rolling now let's
- 19:24jump on the ball and so last night
- 19:26i was trying to be uh the devil's
- 19:28advocate and i got hammered for being the
- 19:32devil's advocate in the whole situation
- 19:36So I'm clear that you didn't listen to
- 19:38Sevan this morning because he did the
- 19:39same.
- 19:40He was team Joanna all morning long,
- 19:44and everybody was just lighting him up
- 19:46left and right, myself included.
- 19:49And so I do understand that it is
- 19:52disgusting, right?
- 19:53But I've been in a CrossFit gym for
- 19:56fifteen years.
- 19:58We're all disgusting.
- 20:01It's a little bit different when there's
- 20:02liquid poop running down your leg.
- 20:05You are in the lead,
- 20:06so there's people running behind you.
- 20:08No, it's not semantics.
- 20:09It's liquid poop running down your leg.
- 20:12It can't be semantics.
- 20:13Semantics is not involved with that.
- 20:15The reality of the situation is that I've
- 20:20seen it happen at marathons.
- 20:23I've seen it or I've heard of it
- 20:24happening because I haven't actually been
- 20:26to one at –
- 20:29Ironmans, right?
- 20:30That is on an open course on a
- 20:32road and you're not sharing equipment with
- 20:34the rest of the people.
- 20:36But you want to shit yourself during the
- 20:38twenty six point one and keep running,
- 20:40knock yourself out.
- 20:41Nobody's going to care.
- 20:43But if somebody has to come and do
- 20:44burpee broad jumps behind you,
- 20:47that's a problem.
- 20:48So here's what I'm going to say.
- 20:51High Rocks did not handle the situation
- 20:52correctly.
- 20:54If you prohibit spitting on the course,
- 20:58you sure as hell shouldn't allow shitting
- 21:00on the course.
- 21:01You would think.
- 21:03Right?
- 21:03Like, it was not handled properly.
- 21:06My issue with the whole thing is the
- 21:09mob mentality just not letting this thing
- 21:13die.
- 21:15Well, I mean, it just happened.
- 21:16And there's nothing else going on either.
- 21:19So that's a double win.
- 21:21It's everything that happens in this
- 21:23space.
- 21:23And I'm probably just more acutely aware
- 21:25of it because I do a show every
- 21:27day.
- 21:28Yeah.
- 21:29And it gets just brought up a lot.
- 21:33And I don't know.
- 21:36I just have a hard time with everybody
- 21:38piling on over and over and over again
- 21:42with all these things.
- 21:43And so I just find that...
- 21:46Well, as the arbiters of truth.
- 21:52Here's the thing,
- 21:54is that everybody's going to have
- 21:55something to say about it one way or
- 21:56another, right?
- 21:57And it's mostly because of, number one,
- 21:59how our hierarchs handled it in the
- 22:00moment,
- 22:01which is by not handling it whatsoever.
- 22:04Because from the pictures and the stuff
- 22:06that I saw,
- 22:06they didn't clean up everything until
- 22:08after it was all done,
- 22:10which is a huge problem.
- 22:13sanitary problem,
- 22:15like not a good one whatsoever.
- 22:20This story needs to be flushed down the
- 22:21toilet and forgotten.
- 22:23Oh, hey.
- 22:24Oh,
- 22:25and then the the Instagram post talking
- 22:29about we're going to find people who's
- 22:31been threatening her and you're going to
- 22:34never be able to do a hot rocks
- 22:36and whatnot.
- 22:37Instead of going, hey, we messed up.
- 22:40We handled this terribly and just leave.
- 22:42That's all you have to say.
- 22:43We're going to be better going forwards.
- 22:46If you read the statement,
- 22:48it is about threats to her.
- 22:51If they were threats, yes,
- 22:53you should be banned.
- 22:54Nobody should be threatened over an action
- 22:57that takes place.
- 22:58It wasn't truly her fault.
- 23:01High Rock should have stepped in and done
- 23:02something about it.
- 23:04I would love to see where people were
- 23:06actually threatening her.
- 23:10We don't have the access to any of
- 23:13her DMs.
- 23:13We don't have access to any of that.
- 23:17And people are shitty.
- 23:19Pun intended.
- 23:19Pun intended.
- 23:21right and it wouldn't surprise me
- 23:23necessarily but to come out and say that
- 23:26you know it's been it's been so many
- 23:28of them that wouldn't what how do they
- 23:31even know that they went back in and
- 23:33she was like hey people are i don't
- 23:34know i shit out all over everything but
- 23:36people are you know giving me death
- 23:37threats and she's running back to high
- 23:39rocks to ask them to do something about
- 23:41it they should have done something about
- 23:42it in the first place and like wayne's
- 23:45saying
- 23:47I understand about wanting to win.
- 23:49I get that part of it and that
- 23:50you're out in front and that you're really
- 23:53good at this, whatever.
- 23:55And as soon as the shit started running
- 23:57all the way down your leg and covered
- 23:59your entire right leg, you're done, dude.
- 24:02I'm sorry.
- 24:03You're done.
- 24:04You are.
- 24:04Take yourself out at that point.
- 24:08And then none of this has to happen
- 24:09to begin with.
- 24:10Elite athletes are going to push
- 24:11themselves through crazy shit that none of
- 24:13us can understand.
- 24:15Pardon the pun.
- 24:17However,
- 24:19that is why High Rock should have stepped
- 24:21in.
- 24:22It's like a football player with a
- 24:23concussion who wants to go back in and
- 24:26play.
- 24:27And the NFL has now stepped in.
- 24:28They have spotters that say, hey,
- 24:30that guy doesn't look okay.
- 24:32He needs to be checked.
- 24:34Right?
- 24:35And so High Rock's handled this horribly,
- 24:39horribly.
- 24:40And...
- 24:42bigger they get the more these problems
- 24:44are going to pop up we had the
- 24:45world's problem with uh people um with
- 24:52people getting no repped and then
- 24:55disqualified and other people winning and
- 24:58that was a show from a pr standpoint
- 25:02and i think patrick mentioned that they
- 25:04need to get somebody in there that handles
- 25:06this stuff better because they're not
- 25:08handling any of these things well
- 25:12I don't disagree with that at all.
- 25:14I remember telling one of our group chats,
- 25:17I was like,
- 25:18who knew that the beginning of the
- 25:19downfall of High Rocks,
- 25:20all it would take is one skinny chick
- 25:22shit all over.
- 25:22I don't think that's the beginning.
- 25:26But like I said,
- 25:27I think Worlds was the beginning of the
- 25:28downfall.
- 25:29When you can't even implement your rules
- 25:34properly to adjudicate the World
- 25:37Championships, that's a problem.
- 25:42Yeah, and Howie's got a point right here.
- 25:44If they stopped it,
- 25:45they would have to give thousands of
- 25:46people refunds.
- 25:47Instead now,
- 25:48they're probably going to have to deal
- 25:49with legal shit.
- 25:51The problem I think that comes in right
- 25:52there, Howie,
- 25:53is that whatever the rules are in China,
- 25:56because that's where it was, right?
- 25:57It was in Shanghai.
- 25:58So who knows?
- 26:00If it was in the States,
- 26:02they'd have got served probably a thousand
- 26:07times by now.
- 26:08Like lawyers would have been all over that
- 26:10country.
- 26:12But who knows?
- 26:14Because it's in Shanghai.
- 26:16I have absolutely no idea what the legal
- 26:18stuff looks like over there as far as
- 26:20that kind of stuff is concerned.
- 26:22Especially with a foreign entity coming
- 26:24in, putting on an event,
- 26:26and it happens to be in Shanghai and
- 26:28all this other stuff happens.
- 26:29So...
- 26:31Who knows what's it going to come to?
- 26:34I am personally also over it.
- 26:36I happened to be eating breakfast
- 26:38yesterday when Hiller's video popped up,
- 26:40and I was like, oh, what is this?
- 26:42And I had to stop it and finish
- 26:45eating so I could actually,
- 26:46because it actually had the pictures and
- 26:48whatnot on it,
- 26:49because I could smell the pictures.
- 26:55I do want to answer this.
- 26:57This comment, if they stopped it,
- 27:00they would have to give thousands of
- 27:01people refunds.
- 27:02I think if they stopped it,
- 27:03they would have to give less refunds.
- 27:05By letting it go on,
- 27:06she contaminated more and more equipment.
- 27:11The minute it happened and they would have
- 27:13jumped in and stopped it,
- 27:15they could have cleaned that one area and
- 27:17been done.
- 27:18So from what I saw somebody yesterday,
- 27:22I don't remember where it was,
- 27:23but they said she was on her second
- 27:25kilometer when it started.
- 27:27So I was like, is it the very,
- 27:28I mean,
- 27:28is it the beginning of the race?
- 27:30Nip it in the bud.
- 27:33Literally.
- 27:34Literally.
- 27:34Knock it out right there.
- 27:36Stop it.
- 27:38Seal off that area.
- 27:39Clean it up.
- 27:39Let her go get herself cleaned up.
- 27:43And then let her go to another heat.
- 27:47Is that, is that, is that, is that,
- 27:49am I being crazy?
- 27:50Is that so hard to figure out?
- 27:52Like I am not a smart man by
- 27:54any stretch of the imagination.
- 27:56I am blessed with an almost ridiculous
- 28:00amount of common sense as it turns out.
- 28:03And it seems like that had been a
- 28:04real easy thing to do because I'm sure
- 28:06it was spotted as soon as it happened.
- 28:10Hey,
- 28:10is that shit running down that chick's
- 28:11leg?
- 28:14Well,
- 28:14you would have to think a judge in
- 28:16that area would have seen it immediately
- 28:18or smelled it.
- 28:20Both.
- 28:22Thanks, Ortega.
- 28:27It's fantastic, Vicky.
- 28:30Clock says,
- 28:30I'm surprised you can say shit on YouTube.
- 28:32I've had comments censored off live chat
- 28:34with the word.
- 28:36It's all how you have your settings in
- 28:37YouTube.
- 28:38There's nothing in my YouTube channel that
- 28:41says you can't say shit.
- 28:51She didn't give two shits about her
- 28:53competitors.
- 28:54I'll be here all day.
- 28:55Dippy bartenders, folks.
- 28:56Marissa's here all day.
- 29:00I'm guessing the staff was in the back
- 29:02doing rock, paper, scissors.
- 29:07Not it.
- 29:08Not it.
- 29:11Rochambeau, baby.
- 29:12Rochambeau.
- 29:14Oh, anyway.
- 29:15Yeah, I'm over it.
- 29:16I really am.
- 29:17I don't want to hear about it again.
- 29:19For me,
- 29:20that's just another reason why I'm not
- 29:22signing up for a High Rocks.
- 29:25You're afraid someone's going to shit in
- 29:26front of you?
- 29:29After seeing that and the way it was
- 29:31handled, or not handled, I would say,
- 29:35why would I want to sign up for
- 29:36one?
- 29:39They're just getting,
- 29:41they grew so fast trying to,
- 29:44it happens to every business, right?
- 29:47These small businesses that jump to medium
- 29:49businesses that jump to large businesses,
- 29:52the uptake to get equipped for all of
- 29:55that is so hard.
- 29:58And they grew so fast.
- 30:00And I think that's what happened to like
- 30:01Spartan Race and Tough Mudders and all of
- 30:04those things.
- 30:05They grew so fast and then they couldn't,
- 30:09like when I first did a Tough Mudder
- 30:11everybody got it got timed by the last
- 30:15tough or by the last um Warrior Dash
- 30:19I did they didn't even time everybody you
- 30:21got to select if you wanted to be
- 30:22timed right because there were so many
- 30:25people they couldn't like configure it
- 30:27enough which is silly and if you're not
- 30:32going to time it why do it right
- 30:34right like
- 30:40Scott,
- 30:41this gives a new definition to the word
- 30:42mutter.
- 30:45She was tough mutton, all right.
- 30:48He was tough mutton, all right.
- 30:51Ortega,
- 30:52you'd never know if someone shit
- 30:53themselves in a Spartan or...
- 30:55A Tough Mudder or...
- 30:57I got news for you.
- 30:58The Tough Mudder I did,
- 30:59we went through a literal mud pit.
- 31:03Great.
- 31:04I was standing in mud up to my,
- 31:06basically over my knees.
- 31:08And you would have known,
- 31:09like somebody could have peed, pooped,
- 31:10whatever.
- 31:11Yeah, you'd never know.
- 31:17You could predict it.
- 31:19It happens in marathons.
- 31:21It happens in triathlons.
- 31:22It happens all the time in those endurance
- 31:25races.
- 31:27So, and not usually,
- 31:30not usually two kilometers in,
- 31:31but still you're,
- 31:33you're talking about a woman who is one
- 31:35of the best in the world at high
- 31:37rocks.
- 31:38She needs to qualify for worlds.
- 31:40She probably woke up not feeling well and
- 31:42said, Hey,
- 31:42I got to give it a shot.
- 31:43This is my opportunity to make worlds.
- 31:47And she just pushed through and whoever
- 31:52came after paid the price.
- 31:57Which was everybody because she won.
- 32:00Anyway, moving right along.
- 32:04All right.
- 32:07Hey,
- 32:07I don't know if you guys have heard,
- 32:09but Third Z has chocolate flavor now,
- 32:11and it is so damn good.
- 32:14Chocolate.
- 32:16A little milk,
- 32:17a little microwave right before bed.
- 32:20Oh, so good.
- 32:22And you can get it for fifteen percent
- 32:24off at
- 32:26Thursday.com backslash Jazzy or use Jazzy
- 32:28at checkout.
- 32:29Get you the fifteen percent off.
- 32:31Go ahead and do that.
- 32:32I know some of you have already taken
- 32:34advantage of this because I get notified
- 32:37every time someone orders under that promo
- 32:39code.
- 32:40And I've heard not a single complaint
- 32:42about the chocolate.
- 32:45If you have a frother electronic author,
- 32:49bro.
- 32:51Outstanding, you know, outstanding.
- 32:53I'm just saying.
- 32:57Yeah, good stuff.
- 32:59Go check it out now.
- 33:00And they still have strawberry lemonade if
- 33:01you're still in that summer feel.
- 33:05So you can do that too.
- 33:06Yeah, it's ninety one degrees outside.
- 33:08It's still summertime here.
- 33:12I do like this comment.
- 33:14She was playing Mario Kart in front of
- 33:15her competitors.
- 33:18Much rather she had used a banana instead
- 33:20of... Hey,
- 33:25you know that guy I talked about in
- 33:26our open?
- 33:27there's that dude you know the guy that
- 33:30you know you watch sports and and they
- 33:33have to talk shit all the time and
- 33:35and even when their team loses and your
- 33:37team wins they find some way to to
- 33:40try to dog you but when you're sitting
- 33:43one and oh and they're sitting on one
- 33:44it's really easy just to ignore it you
- 33:48know that guy i do that guy yeah
- 33:54I do know that guy.
- 33:55To be fair,
- 33:56he's not happy with his team.
- 33:59He's quite unhappy with his team.
- 34:05I'm unhappy as well, mostly with the refs.
- 34:09I have not watched a Saints game
- 34:12like on purpose, in quite some time.
- 34:15Yesterday, get back from church,
- 34:17finish watching Manchester United,
- 34:19put on the Saints game,
- 34:20and I was literally putting it on just
- 34:22in time to find out that as long
- 34:24as you intend to throw a forward pass,
- 34:28you're good.
- 34:29It's just going to be a fumble,
- 34:31just as long as that's your intent.
- 34:33I don't know how many quarterbacks have,
- 34:35like there have been historically,
- 34:38in the NFL,
- 34:40like from the time the NFL started until,
- 34:42you know, right here today,
- 34:44September fourteenth, twenty twenty six.
- 34:46I'm assuming it's been a lot and I'm
- 34:48going to go ahead and go out on
- 34:49a limb and say probably all of them
- 34:50intend to throw.
- 34:53A forward pass.
- 34:55I mean, you can assume that,
- 34:57but I always assume that you win a
- 34:59game if you have more points than the
- 35:00other team and the clock has run out.
- 35:03Yeah, well,
- 35:03we also find out that that is not
- 35:06always the case.
- 35:09We also found out that.
- 35:12That's a fair point.
- 35:14No, I didn't even think about that.
- 35:15I'm glad you said that because that was
- 35:17an absolute fair point.
- 35:18Yes, Ramirez, he showed capacity.
- 35:24We have to remember, too,
- 35:25it's week one for the refs.
- 35:27Oh, thank God.
- 35:30Thank you, Andrew Sten.
- 35:32Mike Pereira should be fired for that
- 35:34explanation.
- 35:35Absolutely.
- 35:36Well, he intended to throw a forward pass.
- 35:39Okay,
- 35:41that's a viable explanation if it's peewee
- 35:44football and it's five-year-olds that are
- 35:47out there about to throw the ball.
- 35:49Not professionals at the highest level of
- 35:52the sport.
- 35:54Come on.
- 35:56Yeah, dude.
- 35:57The reffing yesterday was a – and I
- 35:59will – Jeremy and I have had our
- 36:03shit-talking moments.
- 36:04Sure.
- 36:05The Packers got jobbed yesterday,
- 36:07like real bad.
- 36:08Yeah.
- 36:10Like, real bad.
- 36:11And I hate the Packers.
- 36:12So I enjoyed them getting jobbed.
- 36:15I'm not going to lie.
- 36:15Right.
- 36:16But they got jobbed.
- 36:18But I want to tell you, like,
- 36:20the Saints looked good yesterday.
- 36:22Tyler Shuck looks like a dude.
- 36:24Four hundred and ten yards.
- 36:26And the fact that their coach went for
- 36:29the win in overtime instead of the tie,
- 36:32I applaud every time.
- 36:34And look, you know,
- 36:37obviously I get a lot of Saints stuff
- 36:38come through my feed and whatnot and on
- 36:40threads and wherever else.
- 36:42And the vast majority, I mean,
- 36:44a lot of people just absolutely incensed
- 36:47about the intended to throw a forward pass
- 36:49thing.
- 36:50But even with the loss in overtime,
- 36:53the fact that we came back,
- 36:55Chuck didn't play a preseason game.
- 36:57You know that?
- 37:01Yeah.
- 37:01Like, none.
- 37:01A lot of quarterbacks don't.
- 37:03Yeah.
- 37:03So, his actual first game of the season,
- 37:07right, made this ridiculous comeback.
- 37:09Throws for four hundred and ten yards.
- 37:10People are, you know,
- 37:11the general vibe around the Saints
- 37:13community, if you will, such as it were,
- 37:16is positive because we look damn good.
- 37:19We haven't looked that good in quite some
- 37:21time.
- 37:21So, I'm excited, man.
- 37:23Yeah.
- 37:24And that's a high-powered offense.
- 37:26So, giving up points, I get it.
- 37:28But to hang...
- 37:31Yeah, I don't know.
- 37:32But if the Saints scored, what,
- 37:34thirty seven on the Lions,
- 37:36I don't know what the Bears are going
- 37:37to do.
- 37:38We might put up eighty entirely possible
- 37:42after fifty nine points yesterday.
- 37:44I I was watching a Bears podcast this
- 37:47morning and someone called and said,
- 37:49I didn't even know we were allowed to
- 37:50score that many points.
- 37:53I understand, dude.
- 37:55I understand.
- 37:56It hasn't been like that in New Orleans
- 37:57in quite some time,
- 37:58so I feel how that is.
- 38:01I used to have a meme somewhere that's
- 38:03a picture of when Drew Brees was still
- 38:05in his heyday.
- 38:06There's Drew Brees and just a button down
- 38:09with a tie,
- 38:10blue button down with a tie,
- 38:11and it said,
- 38:11it's only business when I drop forty
- 38:13points on you.
- 38:15Sorry.
- 38:16We haven't had that kind of vibe down
- 38:17here, like I said, since well before,
- 38:19since before he retired.
- 38:20So,
- 38:22the bears have been around since i don't
- 38:26know if we've ever had a performance like
- 38:27we had yesterday offensively and second i
- 38:31am the guy that's watched them i remember
- 38:34the days where if we crossed midfield it
- 38:35was success oh yeah like it's been that
- 38:40bad absolutely absolutely and so yeah i
- 38:46was enjoying every bit of yesterday every
- 38:49bit
- 38:51But yeah, I had a great sports day.
- 38:53Lando finished on the podium,
- 38:54even though he got jobbed.
- 38:56Clara Clarissian.
- 39:00No, not Lando Norris.
- 39:02Here's the thing.
- 39:02I was there last night from when y'all
- 39:04were talking about that.
- 39:05And as soon as I,
- 39:06as soon as we got down to this
- 39:07portion of today and I like, oh,
- 39:09he's going to talk about Lando again.
- 39:10I was like,
- 39:11that's the only Lando I really know is
- 39:12Lando Clarissian.
- 39:13So,
- 39:15which he would probably end up on a
- 39:16podium too,
- 39:16because technically the Millennium Falcon,
- 39:19which is the fastest ship in the galaxy
- 39:21was his.
- 39:25By hook or crook.
- 39:27I got to tie all that shit together.
- 39:29It's fine.
- 39:37Packers had Wentz looking like it was two
- 39:39thousand seventeen again.
- 39:42Yeah.
- 39:44Yeah.
- 39:45No, Jeremy.
- 39:46The answer is no.
- 39:47Jeremy,
- 39:47you have a sports show to do tomorrow.
- 39:51Or we'd never get to talk football.
- 39:52Yeah.
- 39:55And, oh,
- 39:58apparently Papa Birch took second place in
- 40:01that liftoff competition that he did.
- 40:04Yay, Papa Birch.
- 40:05Good old Papa Birch.
- 40:07That dude is strong, man.
- 40:10He is.
- 40:11He's got that old man country strong
- 40:13strength.
- 40:13Yeah.
- 40:14Yeah.
- 40:18That actually looked... Vicky,
- 40:20is that an actual picture you took?
- 40:24That looks like his hat that he wears
- 40:26pretty often.
- 40:26Yeah.
- 40:30I think she grabbed that from Instagram,
- 40:33I'm guessing, because that looks legit.
- 40:36Yeah, it looks like him.
- 40:40Um,
- 40:41it was a great sports week and hook
- 40:43them horns.
- 40:44I got to tell you,
- 40:44living in Columbus and these,
- 40:46I was about to ask Buckeye fans to
- 40:49deal with every day.
- 40:51Oh my gosh.
- 40:52It,
- 40:53the fact that they got their ass handed
- 40:55to them after being up so big and
- 40:57Arch Manning making the comeback,
- 40:59my wife and I were cheering.
- 41:05Yes.
- 41:05Oh, we'll get one week of peace.
- 41:07Yeah.
- 41:07Uh,
- 41:10all the stuff flying around about their
- 41:11coach,
- 41:12just like getting a lead and then just
- 41:15sit on this and start like going extremely
- 41:18conservative play calling.
- 41:20And like, we don't have,
- 41:20we got the opposite of that going on
- 41:22down here.
- 41:22Cause Lane Kiffin is brick on the gas
- 41:26pedal until I see a checkered flag or
- 41:27meet Jesus one or two.
- 41:29Like we're going to score as many points.
- 41:30You can talk all that smack you want.
- 41:32They did not look good in the first
- 41:33half.
- 41:34this week.
- 41:35No, here's the thing.
- 41:36So I was talking to my,
- 41:37one of my friends about this yesterday,
- 41:38um, at the gym is that,
- 41:41and I had to,
- 41:41I had to go back and,
- 41:42and I want to hear no excuses about
- 41:44letdowns or any of that shit.
- 41:46No, not at all.
- 41:47Okay.
- 41:48Um,
- 41:49I think that,
- 41:51so if you go back and look,
- 41:52our play calling looked terrible.
- 41:55We ran, let's run up the middle,
- 41:57and we're going to run up the middle
- 41:58again.
- 41:58We're going to run up the middle again.
- 41:59It looked like Les Miles was calling plays
- 42:01from whenever he was a coach back forever
- 42:04ago.
- 42:05And I think that was at least partially,
- 42:09let's try some stuff out.
- 42:11Because we didn't do that last week,
- 42:12right?
- 42:13We moved the ball around, right side,
- 42:15left side, outside, inside.
- 42:16Like,
- 42:17there's a whole lot of that going on.
- 42:18And partially,
- 42:20trying to add that stuff out,
- 42:21and partially is not giving Ole Miss a
- 42:25whole lot of film to look at this
- 42:27week.
- 42:27Because we literally ran off-tackle,
- 42:31off-tackle right, off-tackle left,
- 42:32off-tackle right, off-tackle left, punt.
- 42:35Like,
- 42:35there was a whole lot of that going
- 42:37on,
- 42:37and that's not Lane Kiffin's freaking game
- 42:39plan.
- 42:40And then towards the end of the game,
- 42:42by the time they got worn down –
- 42:44and, look, credit to La Tech.
- 42:47They have a fantastic defense.
- 42:49Like, their defense is for real.
- 42:51I don't give a damn what anybody says.
- 42:52If you watched that game the other night,
- 42:55we could barely run the ball whatsoever
- 42:56where we ran the shit out of it
- 42:58the week before that.
- 42:59Yeah.
- 43:03Trying to work out and follow this chat
- 43:05is multitasking at its most challenging.
- 43:11Hey,
- 43:12you only get better by doing hard things,
- 43:14Fergie.
- 43:15I've heard that somewhere.
- 43:16I'm not trying to remember where it was.
- 43:20Wayne, to be honest,
- 43:21Manning didn't look good most of the game.
- 43:23You know what matters, Wayne?
- 43:25When the clock hits zero or zero plus
- 43:28one,
- 43:30If you have more points than the other
- 43:32team, that's all that matters.
- 43:34I know Jeremy thinks otherwise,
- 43:37but really in sports,
- 43:38if you have more points than the other
- 43:40team at the end of the game,
- 43:44that's all that matters.
- 43:46Unless you're Michigan.
- 43:49That's why I said zero plus one.
- 43:52Unless you're Michigan.
- 43:53If you're Michigan,
- 43:53as long as you're tied at the very
- 43:55least, once the clock ends,
- 43:58then you can probably still win.
- 44:00And for KDL, that's sports.
- 44:05That's just sports.
- 44:07That's just sports.
- 44:10Oh, poor Westerners again.
- 44:11I still feel bad at them.
- 44:13Somebody said, Jeremy said,
- 44:15Michigan beating Oklahoma doesn't make any
- 44:17sense.
- 44:17I don't know if you ever paid attention
- 44:18to Oklahoma football,
- 44:19but that makes perfect fucking sense.
- 44:23I don't know if you've watched the Oregon
- 44:25game, but getting beat by Oklahoma State,
- 44:28who had a twelve game losing streak,
- 44:30comes to your house.
- 44:33You're a top five team and you get
- 44:35your ass handed to you.
- 44:38Not just, not just beat.
- 44:39They got, they got whooped.
- 44:40Yeah.
- 44:41So, um,
- 44:45We got back from the five K and
- 44:46hung out for a little bit when me
- 44:48and Jennifer went running to the grocery
- 44:49store and stopped and brought Brody
- 44:51because their car wash he works at is
- 44:53right there.
- 44:54Stopped and brought Brody some food and he
- 44:56walks up to grab his food and he
- 44:57sticks his head in one of the looks
- 44:58at me goes,
- 45:00a team that should not be beating Oregon
- 45:04is currently beating the dog shit.
- 45:07It's the first time in history that a
- 45:10team with a losing streak that long beat
- 45:13a top five team.
- 45:14Yeah.
- 45:17Again, proving that,
- 45:18and I've said this for a while, yeah,
- 45:20Phil Knight's house.
- 45:21Yeah.
- 45:22Correction, Phil Knight's house,
- 45:24not Oregon.
- 45:24Somebody said on,
- 45:26I don't know if I saw it on
- 45:27threads or whatever, it was like, luckily,
- 45:31Oregon still has eight point seven million
- 45:34jersey combinations that they can choose
- 45:36from for the rest of the season,
- 45:40because clearly that's what really matters
- 45:41and not, you know,
- 45:42actually winning football games.
- 45:44So can I talk about jersey,
- 45:46the jersey combination crap, please?
- 45:49So I know that like people do it
- 45:51so they can sell more.
- 45:53Right.
- 45:53Well,
- 45:53I have this one and now I can
- 45:55buy this one and now I can buy
- 45:56this one.
- 45:57yep i've been a penn state fan since
- 45:59the day i was born they have not
- 46:01changed their uniforms one time in the
- 46:05history of me watching them and i love
- 46:08that i love that in this day where
- 46:10everybody has eighteen different uniform
- 46:12combinations that we have white pants and
- 46:17either blue or white jerseys and a white
- 46:20helmet it just is what it is
- 46:23It'd be like if Alabama changed their
- 46:26uniforms.
- 46:26It just doesn't make sense.
- 46:29That's never going to happen.
- 46:32Right.
- 46:33There are certain schools that...
- 46:35And Notre Dame's starting to flirt with
- 46:37that.
- 46:38It's stupid.
- 46:39You've been around for so long as the
- 46:43gold helmet,
- 46:43the blue shirt with the white letters.
- 46:45They added gold sparkly numbers the other
- 46:48day.
- 46:48Like...
- 46:51Like your daughters be dazzled the Jersey
- 46:53for you.
- 46:58Oh, no.
- 47:00Like I get, I just,
- 47:02I'm picturing the Notre Dame organization
- 47:04sending out an email to all of the,
- 47:05uh,
- 47:06to all of the parents of the players
- 47:08and whatnot and be like all wives and
- 47:10daughters.
- 47:11And we're,
- 47:12we're inviting everybody to come by,
- 47:14be dazzled some jerseys for us.
- 47:19Please.
- 47:21So for me,
- 47:23to have those schools that just stay
- 47:25steady with that jersey,
- 47:27I respect that so much more.
- 47:29Dude, we've done it before.
- 47:31It drives me bananas.
- 47:32All of a sudden,
- 47:34LSU shows up with an actual gold-colored
- 47:37helmet.
- 47:41Those sequins will mess you up.
- 47:42Don't want to tackle those.
- 47:46Why is he bleeding?
- 47:49Looks like the defensive tackle for
- 47:51Alabama is coming off the field with blood
- 47:54on his hand.
- 47:54We're on it, Fergie.
- 47:56That's going to be the first variation.
- 47:58We're going to bedazzle the logo.
- 48:01But that'll be a premium jersey,
- 48:03so that'll be like double the price,
- 48:05just so you know.
- 48:05It's going to cost a little bit more.
- 48:07It's just more time and effort going into
- 48:09it.
- 48:10But yeah, LSU's done it.
- 48:11So LSU's colors are purple and gold.
- 48:13But if you go look at our gold,
- 48:15it's yellow, okay?
- 48:17Everybody knows that.
- 48:17It's not a secret.
- 48:19It's like a couple of years ago,
- 48:21they were going to do some, you know,
- 48:24whatever you want to call it,
- 48:25special Jersey night or whatever.
- 48:26And they had actual gold colored helmets,
- 48:29like look kind of like Notre Dame's.
- 48:30And when I tell you they were looked
- 48:32terrible, it just looked bad.
- 48:36Like why, why, why?
- 48:37Let's not do that.
- 48:38Let's not do that.
- 48:40It's a yellow helmet.
- 48:41It's got LSU and a tiger on it.
- 48:43Done.
- 48:44Moving right along.
- 48:46Can I tell you the thing that made
- 48:48me laugh the most this weekend in college
- 48:49football?
- 48:50Please.
- 48:51So you know what the colors of Michigan
- 48:53are?
- 48:54Unfortunately, yes.
- 48:56Do you know the official names?
- 48:58Oh, no.
- 49:00So it's maize and blue.
- 49:03Oh, it's maize and blue.
- 49:05Maize and blue.
- 49:06Forgive me.
- 49:06So there were people in the crowd dressed
- 49:11as corn.
- 49:11Yeah.
- 49:17And then all I could think about is
- 49:19Rob Schneider from Grown Ups going, Mace,
- 49:22Mace, Mace.
- 49:25Gosh darn.
- 49:28It's maize and blue,
- 49:29so let's dress up like,
- 49:30you know what we should do is dress
- 49:31up like corn before we get out there
- 49:33on the floor.
- 49:34We're going to dress up like maize.
- 49:36Maize.
- 49:38That is just silly.
- 49:39Oh, my word, that is silly.
- 49:42I literally laughed so hard when I saw
- 49:45them dressed.
- 49:46Like, you see that at Nebraska, right?
- 49:48That makes sense, the corn huskers?
- 49:50The corn huskers, yeah.
- 49:53But to dress up as maize.
- 49:57Because, you know, Michigan,
- 49:58that's what they're mostly known for is
- 50:01their corn production.
- 50:02Jesus Christ.
- 50:12Oh, man.
- 50:15That was right up there with the game
- 50:17day signs.
- 50:18Yeah.
- 50:19Oh, absolutely.
- 50:19Absolutely.
- 50:20Yeah.
- 50:22We're going to be on game day a
- 50:24second time this season.
- 50:27You're on this week?
- 50:28I'm almost positive they're at Ole Miss
- 50:30this week, yeah.
- 50:33I could be wrong,
- 50:33but I'm ninety-nine percent sure.
- 50:37There you go, Fergie.
- 50:39That's not the right price, though.
- 50:41No, no, no.
- 50:42That's an updated picture,
- 50:44but not updated price.
- 50:46Yeah,
- 50:46we're still in negotiation with the
- 50:48laborers on the bedazzling.
- 50:52But if you want a regular plain one,
- 50:54still available.
- 50:55Yeah.
- 50:55For week three of twenty twenty six
- 50:57college football season,
- 50:58LSU ESPN's college game day is heading to
- 51:00Oxford,
- 51:01Mississippi for a matchup between LSU.
- 51:03Can I just say I feel so bad
- 51:06for the game day crew.
- 51:08They have been in Louisiana,
- 51:10Texas and Mississippi.
- 51:13Yeah.
- 51:13Hot as hell, dude.
- 51:15Sweating it out the entire time.
- 51:17Pat McAfee has so much water running off
- 51:19of his head every week.
- 51:24That is crazy.
- 51:25They're probably like,
- 51:26can't we go to Minnesota?
- 51:28Yeah,
- 51:28anywhere that's not a hundred degrees.
- 51:32They kept talking about it Saturday night,
- 51:34like during the game, about, oh, you know,
- 51:36it's hot out there.
- 51:37Oh, it's hot out there.
- 51:37It's hot out there.
- 51:38I remember thinking, like,
- 51:40it really wasn't that hot this afternoon.
- 51:42Like, as I went outside at some point,
- 51:45no one looked at it.
- 51:45It was still eighty seven degrees at like
- 51:48seven thirty.
- 51:49And I was like, oh, yeah,
- 51:50I guess it is kind of warm still.
- 51:51Yeah, no big deal.
- 51:55But they were playing La Tech.
- 51:56La Tech knew it was hot.
- 51:58That'd be a tough gig, man.
- 52:00That year that it got really hot at
- 52:01the games and we were in the media
- 52:03pit,
- 52:05you could only stand a couple heats at
- 52:08North Park.
- 52:09And then you had to run for shade,
- 52:11run for liquid, because it was bad.
- 52:15Like this past week, for sure,
- 52:18there wasn't any kind of breeze blowing.
- 52:20We did a five K Saturday morning for
- 52:23the Travis Mannion foundation.
- 52:24I love it.
- 52:25Heroes run.
- 52:26And the three,
- 52:28four days before that at like,
- 52:29cause they didn't start to eight, eight,
- 52:31three in the morning,
- 52:31but it had been low eighties.
- 52:34It was kind of nice.
- 52:35It'd been kind of overcast Saturday
- 52:36morning.
- 52:38Ninety degrees, bright sunshine,
- 52:40not a cloud in the sky, dude.
- 52:42No breeze, nothing.
- 52:45Like, it was miserable, dude.
- 52:48I literally took my shirt and, like,
- 52:50wrung it out afterwards because it was
- 52:52just so miserable.
- 52:53And I was like,
- 52:54that probably carried on through the rest
- 52:55of the day.
- 52:56And then they got out there on the
- 52:56football field.
- 52:57Yay!
- 52:59Yeah, there you go.
- 53:00Amanda says it was one-sixteen on the
- 53:02field in Texas.
- 53:02Yeah.
- 53:02Yeah.
- 53:06I was one twenty four at the Bears
- 53:07game yesterday.
- 53:10People keep saying, oh, it's fall.
- 53:12Nope, it's not fall.
- 53:15It's September.
- 53:17It's that doesn't mean it's fall down
- 53:19here.
- 53:20I clearly remember sweating it out on
- 53:24Halloween,
- 53:25like going trick or treating and got a
- 53:27costume on and just.
- 53:30Covered in sweat by the time I get
- 53:31home.
- 53:31Now,
- 53:32we've also had some where it was kind
- 53:34of sort of nice.
- 53:35Not really.
- 53:36Not that hot, but yeah.
- 53:40Halloween in Ohio can either be ninety or
- 53:43snowing.
- 53:44Yeah.
- 53:45You just never know.
- 53:46It's a complete flip of the coin.
- 53:48But you know where I'm going to be
- 53:49the night before Halloween this year?
- 53:51I'm going to be at Rocky in concert.
- 53:54Oh,
- 53:54the thing you were talking about where
- 53:55they play the score?
- 53:57Yeah.
- 53:57Yeah,
- 53:57the symphony plays the score while the
- 53:59movie's playing.
- 54:00Carolyn got, like,
- 54:02she was aggressive talking about their
- 54:04soundtrack, and you were like, no, no, no,
- 54:06they're not playing.
- 54:06No, not Rocky IV.
- 54:09They're not playing Rocky IV stuff.
- 54:11It's Rocky I.
- 54:13But there's just going to be a symphony
- 54:14going on.
- 54:15The real Rocky.
- 54:16Yeah, the original.
- 54:17Yeah.
- 54:18you know like that like in your chest
- 54:25while the movie's going on it'd be like
- 54:27going to see uh chariots of fire and
- 54:29them actually playing chariots of fire
- 54:30live while you were there or like star
- 54:33wars like with the score from star i've
- 54:36heard that's a thing the star wars thing
- 54:39where they actually play like you can go
- 54:41watch it at an amphitheater and there'll
- 54:42be a live uh there you go i
- 54:45watched harry potter like that
- 54:47Even like Avengers,
- 54:48you don't realize the score that's behind
- 54:52the Avengers movie.
- 54:53Jameson, my daughter,
- 54:54recognizes the Avengers theme now.
- 54:57If it plays briefly during another thing
- 55:01or if it's on a trailer for something,
- 55:03she's like, Daddy,
- 55:04it's the Avengers music.
- 55:06I know better.
- 55:08Or take a watch Star Wars that way
- 55:09too.
- 55:09It was dope.
- 55:11I bet.
- 55:12I like that kind of stuff.
- 55:14It adds to it.
- 55:15It would add to it for me.
- 55:18Jaws in concert would be intense.
- 55:20Just... That would be outstanding.
- 55:29Jack Black's character in The Holiday
- 55:31talks about that two chords of music
- 55:36completely set the emotional tone of that
- 55:40entire movie.
- 55:40Oh, Lord, yeah.
- 55:42Two chords.
- 55:44Yeah.
- 55:44Jameson wanted to watch The Devil in the
- 55:46Night.
- 55:48I forgot what something she saw something.
- 55:50Daddy, can we watch Jaws?
- 55:51No.
- 55:52No.
- 55:56Here's the thing.
- 55:57It's not because I don't want to,
- 55:59but your little eight-year-old ass is not
- 56:00going to sleep tonight.
- 56:01Right.
- 56:03That means you're not going to sleep
- 56:05tonight either because you're going to be
- 56:06in my bedroom five different times.
- 56:09Daddy, I was having bad thoughts.
- 56:11Is it about a giant shark?
- 56:12I bet you that's what it's about.
- 56:13I bet you that's what you had bad
- 56:14thoughts about.
- 56:17You know,
- 56:17I thought the movie that was more
- 56:19terrifying to me was Piranha.
- 56:26Piranha scared the shit out of me as
- 56:27a kid.

- 57:09E.T.
- 57:09E.T.
- 57:09did not scare me.
- 57:10I was like twelve when that came out,
- 57:12so I wasn't like a kid kid.
