  Speaker 4: thing too. Like last year it was you know, new

  Speaker 4: offensive staff. The year before it was you know, I

  Speaker 4: think still kind of like that that continuation of frustration

  Speaker 4: because you know, Carmichael was coming off the bad season.

  Speaker 4: They tried to replace him, they couldn't. He comes back,

  Speaker 4: and that that season kind of felt stuck and I

  Speaker 4: don't know that there was like like the hope and positivity.

  Speaker 4: But last year around this time, I feel like it

  Speaker 4: kind of felt the same way. You know, they were

  Speaker 4: all excited about that that staff. They thought it was

  Speaker 4: going to turn around. They thought things were going to

  Speaker 4: be a lot better, and you know, for two weeks

  Speaker 4: it was and then you know, all of a sudden,

  Speaker 4: it wasn't. But it's it's interesting though, because like I

  Speaker 4: don't know, like the veteran players kind of seem like

  Speaker 4: maybe they've been through too much, so like there's more

  Speaker 4: of a guarded optimism than stort of just like one

  Speaker 4: drinking the Koli type of optimism. You know, I think

  Speaker 4: there's a little bit of skepticism about like, all right, well,

  Speaker 5: trade yesterday with Mega Fitzpatrick and Jalen Ramsey, and it

  Speaker 5: just got me thinking about the Saints. Say, I didn't

  Speaker 5: hear hardly any splashes this year in off season, whether

  Speaker 5: it's free agent signings, trades and it may. I mean

  Speaker 5: there's a little bit here and there, but no big
• 5:25
  Speaker 5: splashes on trying to like instantly improve a team overnight.

  Speaker 5: season last year where they kind of were was it

  Speaker 5: a new coach situation or is that just veterans in

  Speaker 4: from let's say, let's say they are a five win

  Speaker 4: team and you go out and you add some veteran

  Speaker 4: that that's going to help you get the six and

  Speaker 4: a half seven wins? Like, what's the value in that?

  Speaker 4: Like now you're just kind of lowering yourself in the draft,

  Speaker 4: some success. I think having success helps you build that culture.

  Speaker 4: anywhere currently, I don't think it's the right way to

  Speaker 4: unknowns on this team. Let that stuff reveal itself this year,

  Speaker 4: it's both those things. I think they're kind of you know,

  Speaker 4: was attainable. And at the same time, I don't think

  Speaker 4: there's many veterans trying to get into this vehicle right now.

  Speaker 3: the football, because I think we know a lot of
