- 1:40Speaker 4: have a new one out today. I'm going to get
- 1:41Speaker 4: to that in a minute. Lots of things to think about,
- 1:45Speaker 4: lots of things to discuss and grateful, always grateful that
- 1:48Speaker 4: you spend time with us.
- 1:50Speaker 1: And I am.
- 1:50Speaker 4: Still just so grateful for those of you that have
- 1:55Speaker 4: heard the cry of believers around the world and stepped
- 2:00Speaker 4: up and provided Bibles in ways that I just could
- 2:04Speaker 4: not have fathomed. Our original goal was 10,000 Bibles and
- 2:10Speaker 4: you guys have come through on that and there are
- 2:14Speaker 4: still people still giving because there are still people that
- 2:17Speaker 4: need Bibles beyond those 10,000 names. So thank you for
- 2:22Speaker 4: everything that you've done. We'll have a kind of a
- 2:24Speaker 4: final report on the Bible effort coming up Thursday, I think.
- 2:29Speaker 4: So something happened last night. That's not uncommon. I went
- 2:32Speaker 4: to bed probably 11, 1130, something like that. And somewhere
- 2:36Speaker 4: around two 30 or three o'clock I woke up and
- 2:40Speaker 4: when my mind just turns on, it just turns on.
- 2:43Speaker 4: I can't, there's nothing I can do to turn it off.
- 2:46Speaker 4: I've tried, uh, But when it decides it's time for
- 2:50Speaker 4: me to think about stuff, I start thinking about it.
- 2:52Speaker 4: So I get up because I don't want to bother
- 2:55Speaker 4: the lovely bride. And I kind of go into another
- 2:57Speaker 4: part of the house. And I'm scrolling and reading and
- 3:00Speaker 4: thinking about today and thinking about the things that we
- 3:04Speaker 4: want to accomplish and so forth. And one of the
- 3:08Speaker 4: things that I did is, of course, scroll through social
- 3:13Speaker 4: media and the headlines. And last night, my social media
- 3:18Speaker 4: feeds were just stock full of satellite images, supposedly, all
- 3:26Speaker 4: reportedly from Google Earth, showing whole neighborhoods of Gaza just
- 3:30Speaker 4: reduced to gray rubble. The posts accompanying them tend to
- 3:37Speaker 4: also share a unilateral conclusion. This is the evidence of genocide,
- 3:43Speaker 4: and Israel is guilty of it. That's what they were
- 3:45Speaker 4: trying to say in showing these Google Earth pictures of
- 3:48Speaker 4: these obliterated concrete buildings in Gaza. The images are sobering,
- 3:54Speaker 4: and they should be, because behind every collapsed roof was
- 4:00Speaker 4: a family, a kitchen table, children who slept there. Anyone
- 4:03Speaker 4: who can look at these pictures and feel nothing has
- 4:06Speaker 4: lost something important, a piece of their humanity. Grief over
- 4:10Speaker 4: the suffering of civilians is not a betrayal of Israel,
- 4:14Speaker 4: and it's not a weakness. It just simply is what
- 4:17Speaker 4: decent people feel, including Israelis, I might add. Israel was
- 4:22Speaker 4: the first to offer help to people who were injured
- 4:25Speaker 4: in the Israeli war, and they continued to take Gazans
- 4:31Speaker 4: to Israeli hospitals and help them long after the fighting
- 4:34Speaker 4: was over. But grief is not the same as understanding.
- 4:39Speaker 4: A photograph taken from basically outer space orbit can show
- 4:43Speaker 4: you what happened to a place, but it can't tell
- 4:45Speaker 4: you why. And if we're going to render judgments that
- 4:49Speaker 4: history is going to record, we owe it to the
- 4:52Speaker 4: dead on every side to get the why, in this case, right.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Go back to October 6, 2023. On that day, there
- 5:01Speaker 4: was a ceasefire in place between Israel and Gaza. It
- 5:04Speaker 4: had been in place for a while. Israel had withdrawn
- 5:08Speaker 4: every soldier and every settler from Gaza nearly two decades earlier.
- 5:12Speaker 4: In 2005, and then Hamas seized full control of the
- 5:17Speaker 4: territory in 2007. Whatever grievances existed, and there were many,
- 5:23Speaker 4: the people of southern Israel went to bed on October
- 5:26Speaker 4: 6th in their homes, in the kibbutzes, and young people
- 5:31Speaker 4: danced at a music festival near the border, believing that
- 5:35Speaker 4: the world was at peace. The next morning, Hamas terrorists
- 5:38Speaker 4: crossed that border, murdered 1,200 people in cold blood, almost
- 5:45Speaker 4: all of them civilians. They killed elderly people in their homes.
- 5:51Speaker 4: They killed parents in front of their children. They raped
- 5:56Speaker 4: mothers in front of sons, and they raped daughters in
- 6:00Speaker 4: front of fathers. They took more than 250 hostages, including babies.
- 6:06Speaker 4: some of whom they popped the heads off of, grandmothers,
- 6:11Speaker 4: and women back into Gaza. It was the deadliest, ugliest,
- 6:18Speaker 4: most destructive single day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust.
- 6:23Speaker 4: Hamas didn't build that capacity alone, by the way. For years,
- 6:28Speaker 4: Iran has funded, armed, and trained Hamas as part of
- 6:31Speaker 4: its network of proxy forces aimed at Israel's destruction. The rockets,
- 6:36Speaker 4: the money, the expertise, the ambition to strike at the
- 6:39Speaker 4: Jewish state from every direction. Most of that traces back
- 6:43Speaker 4: to Tehran. Iran has been content to fight Israel to
- 6:46Speaker 4: the last Palestinian. That's a phrase. Iran is very happy
- 6:50Speaker 4: to fight Israel to the last Palestinian. Hamas spent several
- 6:54Speaker 4: years building hundreds of miles of tunnels beneath the homes
- 6:58Speaker 4: in Gaza. Schools, mosques, hospitals. It placed its fighters, its weapons,
- 7:03Speaker 4: and its command centers among the very civilians it claimed
- 7:06Speaker 4: to govern. It did this deliberately because it understood that
- 7:12Speaker 4: when Israel responded and it knew Israel would respond, the
- 7:15Speaker 4: resulting devastation would become its most effective propaganda. The rubble
- 7:20Speaker 4: in these pictures is in no small part the rubble
- 7:24Speaker 4: that Hamas planned for. On September 11th in 2001, I
- 7:27Speaker 4: spent 18 hours on the air the day after I
- 7:32Speaker 4: was named host of my own program. I remember images
- 7:36Speaker 4: of Lower Manhattan, the smoke, the twisted steel. No serious
- 7:40Speaker 4: person looked at Ground Zero and concluded that America was
- 7:43Speaker 4: the aggressor. Nor, when America answered, did the rubble left
- 7:48Speaker 4: behind in Afghanistan erase the question of who had started it.
- 7:52Speaker 4: One of the first rules of the playground was simple
- 7:55Speaker 4: when I was little. Don't start it. It was not
- 8:01Speaker 4: a rule meant to excuse whatever came next, but it
- 8:04Speaker 4: was a recognition that the one who throws the first
- 8:07Speaker 4: punch bears a unique responsibility for everything that follows. Right now,
- 8:13Speaker 4: some adults pretend that geopolitics is too complicated for such
- 8:16Speaker 4: a lesson. It is not. I will be honest with you.
- 8:21Speaker 4: I grow very weary of having to explain this. But
- 8:25Speaker 4: weariness is no excuse for silence because history is being
- 8:27Speaker 4: written right now. and one viral image at a time,
- 8:31Speaker 4: and it's not too much, and there's not much of
- 8:37Speaker 4: it at all, in fact, that's being written about its
- 8:40Speaker 4: original chapter. The destruction in Gaza is real, and it
- 8:44Speaker 4: is heartbreaking. It is also the direct consequence of a
- 8:49Speaker 4: choice made by Hamas, backed by Iran, on October 7th.
- 8:54Speaker 4: Had that choice not been made, those neighborhoods would still
- 8:58Speaker 4: be intact. And if we want fewer images like these
- 9:01Speaker 4: in the future, the lesson could not be plainer. Don't
- 9:07Speaker 4: start it. Maybe you disagree. Thatkevinshowatgmail.com. If you do, thatkevinshowatgmail.com.
- 9:14Speaker 4: Always take the time to read your thoughts. I don't
- 9:18Speaker 4: leave that for anybody else. I do that on my own.
- 9:22Speaker 4: I make sure that I read every single one. So
- 9:24Speaker 4: send it my way if you so wish. thatkevinshowatgmail.com, thatkevinshowatgmail.com.
- 9:31Speaker 4: And if you want to read the column that I
- 9:33Speaker 4: just relayed to you in my monologue, it's up at townhall.com.
- 9:38Speaker 4: It's also up at thatkevinshow.com. You can get my daily thoughts,
- 9:42Speaker 4: my daily column in either of those places, and I
- 9:44Speaker 4: recommend that you would. Kevin McCullough coming right back. We've
- 9:47Speaker 4: got a huge show. Don't go anywhere.
- 9:48Speaker 6: We'll be right back.
- 10:05Speaker 8: Here he is from New York, that Kevin, Kevin McCullough.
- 10:15Speaker 4: All right, welcome back. It's That Kevin Show, thatkevinshow.com for
- 10:19Speaker 4: everything related to the show. You want to get the podcast,
- 10:22Speaker 4: you want to watch the video, you want to read
- 10:24Speaker 4: the column, it's all there. We've got all new stuff
- 10:26Speaker 4: up nearly every day, so I hope that you'll be
- 10:28Speaker 4: checking that out. This is the part of the show
- 10:31Speaker 4: here at the beginning that we stop everything else that's
- 10:34Speaker 4: happening and we say we need to ask the big question,
- 10:38Speaker 4: how do we live? How do we live in a
- 10:40Speaker 4: culture that has no use for God, has really just
- 10:45Speaker 4: overt disdain for his word. And for those of us
- 10:48Speaker 4: that find God precious in his word, even more so,
- 10:52Speaker 4: they look at us with great suspicion at best, maybe
- 10:55Speaker 4: direct hostility at worst, but at best they look at
- 10:58Speaker 4: us with great suspicion. And we say, how do we
- 11:01Speaker 4: go about our life as believers in light of this
- 11:05Speaker 4: culture that we're in with this being the reality? Well,
- 11:08Speaker 4: I'm very grateful to have shepherds joining me week after week,
- 11:12Speaker 4: giving up a big chunk of their week to spend
- 11:15Speaker 4: time with us. And Rabbi Alan Moorhead, Dr. Moorhead, is
- 11:18Speaker 4: joining us from the Arrowhead Messianic Congregation in Peoria, Arizona.
- 11:23Speaker 4: And yesterday, Alan, we started unpacking the feasts of the
- 11:30Speaker 4: Lord that are in the spring. And we talked about
- 11:33Speaker 4: Passover in Leviticus 23. But there are three others in
- 11:37Speaker 4: the ensuing verses. In verse 6, you have the feast
- 11:40Speaker 4: of the unleavened bread, and then you have the two
- 11:42Speaker 4: feasts of the firstfruits, the barley firstfruits, and then the
- 11:47Speaker 4: wheat firstfruits. So let's continue on with the unleavened bread
- 11:52Speaker 4: feast of the Lord. What is this to represent in
- 11:55Speaker 4: the life of the believer?
- 11:56Speaker 9: Well, Kevin, the unleavened bread is to be celebrated for
- 12:01Speaker 9: seven days, and the first day and the seventh day
- 12:04Speaker 9: are Sabbath days. But you've got to understand the seven-day concept,
- 12:08Speaker 9: whether you're talking about seven days of tabernacle or seven
- 12:12Speaker 9: days of unleavened bread, it has to do with the entirety.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Of your life.
- 12:16Speaker 6: That's what the seven represents.
- 12:19Speaker 9: And so when a person receives Yeshua, Jesus, as his
- 12:24Speaker 9: Lord and Savior, he enters in now the seven-day window,
- 12:28Speaker 9: I guess, until the day he's either raptured or dies.
- 12:32Speaker 9: And we have commandments of what we're supposed to do
- 12:35Speaker 9: during the seven days now. Things like Leviticus 6, 17,
- 12:40Speaker 9: where it says, don't offer leaven with your sacrifice. Leaven
- 12:47Speaker 9: represents sin. And the Apostle Paul talks about this, too.
- 12:51Speaker 9: He says in 1 Corinthians 5, 7-8, Purge out.
- 12:55Speaker 6: Therefore, the old leaven. You are unleavened.
- 13:00Speaker 9: Messiah is our Passover who has sacrificed for us. So
- 13:05Speaker 9: we have to understand that leaven itself, which the symbolism.
- 13:10Speaker 6: Is that you got yeast in it and it's puffed up.
- 13:13Speaker 9: And throughout the scripture, even Yeshua, Jesus talked about beware
- 13:17Speaker 9: of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
- 13:20Speaker 6: Beware of the leaven of Herod, which was sin, adulterous,
- 13:25Speaker 6: and murder.
- 13:26Speaker 9: So we have to keep the leaven out of our lives.
- 13:31Speaker 9: Once we receive Yeshua, Jesus, as our Passover, we are
- 13:36Speaker 9: now required to live righteous lives. And this is important.
- 13:42Speaker 9: You know, people seem to forget that. Well, I got Jesus.
- 13:45Speaker 9: Now I can just do what I want to do. No,
- 13:46Speaker 9: you cannot. And, you know, you have to walk in
- 13:50Speaker 9: the ways of the Lord now until the day he
- 13:53Speaker 9: calls you home, either by death or by the rapture.
- 13:57Speaker 9: So unleavened bread is something that's kept on Passover along
- 14:01Speaker 9: with bitter herbs, which indicates the persecution that we go
- 14:06Speaker 9: through as believers. You know, Acts 14, 22 tells us
- 14:10Speaker 9: that through much tribulation, we enter the kingdom of God.
- 14:15Speaker 9: And in John 16, verse 33, it says, In the
- 14:18Speaker 9: world you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer
- 14:22Speaker 9: that he has overcome the world. So it comes with
- 14:27Speaker 9: the territory when you're a believer, and you just got
- 14:30Speaker 9: to expect it.
- 14:31Speaker 4: So I'm very curious about something. What was it about
- 14:35Speaker 4: the ingredient of leaven that made the... you know, the
- 14:41Speaker 4: biblical writers associated with sin. They don't say don't consume leaven.
- 14:48Speaker 3: At all, by the way.
- 14:49Speaker 4: There's just in these feasts and specific times that you
- 14:53Speaker 4: specifically abstain from it. But what was it about this
- 14:57Speaker 4: particular ingredient that even Jesus himself kind of identified in
- 15:03Speaker 4: that kind of symbolic way of being sent?
- 15:08Speaker 9: Egypt they they cooked themselves up bread real quick and
- 15:11Speaker 9: all they did really was mix flour and and oil
- 15:14Speaker 9: together and baked it real quick they didn't give it
- 15:17Speaker 9: time to rise there was no no yeast in it
- 15:20Speaker 9: and so there was a symbol symbolism set up right
- 15:23Speaker 9: then and there that when they fled egypt which is
- 15:26Speaker 9: like coming out of the world that you you quickly
- 15:30Speaker 9: move when the lord says move And so that's why
- 15:34Speaker 9: he said, when you have Passover, you can, it has
- 15:37Speaker 9: to be.
- 15:37Speaker 3: A lamb unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
- 15:40Speaker 4: That's interesting.
- 15:41Speaker 9: All of that comes together with how we are to
- 15:44Speaker 9: live our lives.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Yeah. All right.
- 15:46Speaker 4: So that's in Leviticus 23 verse six. Now, if we
- 15:49Speaker 4: drop down to verses 10 through 14, there's a feast
- 15:53Speaker 4: referred to as the barley first fruits feast. What is
- 15:57Speaker 4: this describing?
- 15:59Speaker 9: Okay, I explain a lot of this in my different books.
- 16:02Speaker 9: You know, I have 11 books, including the Moedim or
- 16:06Speaker 9: the Feast of the Lord. I have, you know, the
- 16:08Speaker 9: commentary on Enoch that I wrote, the first commentary since
- 16:13Speaker 9: the 1800s on Enoch. And I also have it in
- 16:16Speaker 9: the Tabernacle of Moses and the Believer's Walk, and including
- 16:20Speaker 9: commentary on Revelation. But barley firstfruits occurs during the time,
- 16:25Speaker 9: the seven days of unleavened bread. And what this represents,
- 16:30Speaker 9: anytime you're talking about fruit or trees, it represents people.
- 16:35Speaker 6: So barley firstfruits was fulfilled. There was a rapture that
- 16:39Speaker 6: was fulfilled.
- 16:41Speaker 9: In Matthew 27, verse 53, that when Jesus rose from
- 16:46Speaker 9: the dead, many other graves were opened up. And then
- 16:50Speaker 9: that's when he goes, he went down to hell, release
- 16:53Speaker 9: the captives. They're in the bosom of Abraham, which you
- 16:56Speaker 9: can read in Luke 16.
- 16:58Speaker 6: And he took them to paradise.
- 17:00Speaker 9: And at the same time, the graves were opened up
- 17:03Speaker 9: and all those people were raptured.
- 17:05Speaker 6: So there was a series of raptures.
- 17:07Speaker 9: And the barley first fruits was the first series of
- 17:11Speaker 9: raptures to take place. And it already has happened here.
- 17:15Speaker 9: And this is why it also tells you in the
- 17:16Speaker 9: barley fresh fruits that it is a statute forever. Every
- 17:20Speaker 9: time you see that word, we'll talk more about it
- 17:22Speaker 9: later in the week. But statute forever is very important
- 17:25Speaker 9: to understand that it's a permanent thing that's going to
- 17:28Speaker 9: be that that occurred. And so during first fruits, the farmer,
- 17:34Speaker 9: it's important to understand what a first fruit is. A
- 17:37Speaker 9: first fruit is a tiny piece of a general harvest
- 17:41Speaker 9: of a large field. So the farmer brings his first
- 17:44Speaker 9: fruit to the house of the Lord and to the
- 17:48Speaker 9: priest there, and he waves it before.
- 17:50Speaker 6: God and then brings it in the house.
- 17:54Speaker 9: So this is, you know, the symbolism here is, The
- 17:57Speaker 9: firstfruits go to the Lord. They're presented by the Lord.
- 18:01Speaker 9: The farmer, which is Yeshua, Jesus here, he presents us
- 18:05Speaker 9: or whoever believes in him to the Father. And anyone
- 18:09Speaker 9: he presents to the Father will be accepted and then
- 18:13Speaker 9: brought into the house, which is a term of a
- 18:15Speaker 9: rapture coming into the.
- 18:17Speaker 6: House of God.
- 18:18Speaker 9: Firstfruits belong to the Lord. This is what we read
- 18:21Speaker 9: in Revelation 14. And in my commentary in Revelation, I
- 18:25Speaker 9: really explain this. that 144,000, which are the first fruits
- 18:30Speaker 9: of the Lord, follow the Lamb wherever he goes. This
- 18:34Speaker 9: is not talking about Israel. This is talk, because it
- 18:37Speaker 9: says they are redeemed from mankind. That's what I point
- 18:41Speaker 9: out in my commentary. You know, Revelation 7, that's from Israel,
- 18:46Speaker 9: but Revelation 14 says, is 144,000, which is a symbolic
- 18:51Speaker 9: number of the government of God. And this is what
- 18:53Speaker 9: we learned in Isaiah, that the government has no end
- 18:56Speaker 9: with Yeshua. They follow the Lamb wherever He goes. So
- 18:59Speaker 9: if we're following the Lamb wherever He goes, we've got
- 19:02Speaker 9: to go along with this. We understand that we are firstfruits,
- 19:07Speaker 9: and that's important.
- 19:08Speaker 3: All right.
- 19:09Speaker 4: We have just a minute left. The next chunk of
- 19:12Speaker 4: that passage, verses 15 through 17, deals with something called
- 19:17Speaker 4: the wheat firstfruits. What distinguishes them from the barley firstfruits?
- 19:23Speaker 9: Took place, 50 days later, you come to the week
- 19:28Speaker 9: first fruits. And that's why it's called Pentecost, which means 50,
- 19:33Speaker 9: or Shavuot in Hebrew, which means weeks, because you count
- 19:36Speaker 9: out seven weeks. And so that is the next rapture
- 19:39Speaker 9: that's going to take place. And so this is the
- 19:42Speaker 9: one that most of us alive on this earth today
- 19:44Speaker 9: that believe in the Lord are waiting for is the
- 19:47Speaker 9: next wheat first fruits rapture which would occur in the
- 19:51Speaker 9: spring we learn that in the songs of solomon chapter
- 19:54Speaker 9: 2 and isaiah 18 when the flower is in the
- 19:59Speaker 9: grapevine so that's the spring So it's.
- 20:02Speaker 6: Not the general harvest, which would be in the fall.
- 20:05Speaker 9: So this is why it's important for us to be
- 20:07Speaker 9: in the spring first fruits to be presented to the
- 20:10Speaker 9: father and enter into the house that we are following
- 20:13Speaker 9: the lamb wherever he goes.
- 20:15Speaker 4: Okay. That wraps up the spring feasts of the Lord.
- 20:19Speaker 4: Tomorrow we will start a two day discussion on the
- 20:22Speaker 4: fall feasts and we'll kind of go through them. And
- 20:26Speaker 4: then Friday we'll, we'll put it all together and say,
- 20:28Speaker 4: ask the big question. What does it all mean? But
- 20:31Speaker 4: so grateful to have Alan Moorhead, Dr. Alan Moorhead with us,
- 20:36Speaker 4: senior rabbi at the Arrowhead Messianic Congregation. And Alan, thank
- 20:41Speaker 4: you for your time again today.
- 20:42Speaker 3: Thank you, Kevin.
- 20:43Speaker 4: You got it. Kevin McCullough coming right back. Stick around
- 20:48Speaker 4: for more.
- 20:48Speaker 8: Of That Kevin next. Here he is from New York,
- 21:11Speaker 8: That Kevin, Kevin McCullough.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Welcome back.
- 21:16Speaker 4: It's That Kevin Show, thatkevinshow.com. So grateful to have you
- 21:20Speaker 4: with us. And for the next seven minutes or so,
- 21:23Speaker 4: every one of you that give a Bible at 1-800-937-9673,
- 21:25Speaker 4: another Bible is going to be given. And since we
- 21:31Speaker 4: are only 2,400 Bibles away from getting every name off
- 21:35Speaker 4: the list, we are asking you to help us wind
- 21:38Speaker 4: that number down as small as possible. Another 300 Bibles yesterday,
- 21:42Speaker 4: another 700 the day before. Thank you to those of you,
- 21:45Speaker 4: 1,000 Bibles in two days. We're so grateful. Could we
- 21:48Speaker 4: do 2,400 Bibles in one day or today? Could we
- 21:51Speaker 4: just take care of that? If there was somebody, Michael Woolworth,
- 21:55Speaker 4: I always am quick to need to be reminded to
- 21:59Speaker 4: mention this, but there are some of you that That
- 22:01Speaker 4: operate a small business or that have resources that kind
- 22:05Speaker 4: of go beyond what some people around you have. And
- 22:08Speaker 4: if you're looking for an investment into the kingdom, I
- 22:13Speaker 4: don't know of a better way that you could literally
- 22:17Speaker 4: do that than giving money to Bible League. Because for
- 22:20Speaker 4: every Bible that goes out, 12 more believers find Jesus.
- 22:24Speaker 4: And then if they all get Bibles, then there's going
- 22:27Speaker 4: to be 12 more of those that you see how
- 22:29Speaker 4: that math adds up really quickly. If you want to
- 22:31Speaker 4: see spiritual development on planet Earth, if you want to
- 22:35Speaker 4: see genuine discipleship begin to take root, give a gift
- 22:38Speaker 4: to Bible League because that's where it starts. The Bible
- 22:41Speaker 4: changes lives. It invests in people. They tell other people
- 22:45Speaker 4: about the Word of God. They accept Jesus. Lives continue
- 22:49Speaker 4: to be changed. It's generational after generation after So please, please,
- 22:54Speaker 4: please give that Bible now. It's being matched Bible for Bible, 1-800-937-9673.
- 22:57Speaker 4: But Michael, we do have some people to thank. And
- 23:02Speaker 4: then you want to take us to another theater where
- 23:05Speaker 4: Bible League is active.
- 23:06Speaker 10: Yeah, we added 140 Bibles to the tally because of
- 23:09Speaker 10: people like Stephanie of Gainesville, Georgia said, I'm in at
- 23:12Speaker 10: 10 Bibles. Deborah of Columbus, Ohio said, Michael, Kevin, a
- 23:17Speaker 10: $ 150 gift for 30 Bibles. And then Tony in Brooklyn said,
- 23:21Speaker 10: I want to be a part of this, a $ 500 gift. Again,
- 23:23Speaker 10: to fill the waiting hands of 100 believers that we
- 23:26Speaker 10: know by name at Bible League. And Kevin, that's, again,
- 23:29Speaker 10: been the joy in all of this. the weeks that
- 23:31Speaker 10: we've been tackling this ambitious goal, right? It's been gifts
- 23:35Speaker 10: of all sizes from the far reaches of your listening area. So, again,
- 23:39Speaker 10: you know, I know it's tempting to say, okay, what
- 23:42Speaker 10: does my $ 5 gift in this great, big, crazy world
- 23:45Speaker 10: really accomplish? And yet, most of the stories that we've shared,
- 23:48Speaker 10: that of Lally, the village witch doctor, you know, Katsu,
- 23:52Speaker 10: leading his interrogator to Christ, you know, it came down
- 23:54Speaker 10: to one Bible, somebody able to share what's in that Bible.
- 23:57Speaker 10: And as I love to say, a gracious God willing
- 24:00Speaker 10: to bring people from the grips of spiritual darkness. So again,
- 24:03Speaker 10: you know, this is year 88 for biblying to think that,
- 24:07Speaker 10: you know, that Kevin show, these wonderful stations been with
- 24:11Speaker 10: us for about 25 to 30 years. And again, we're
- 24:13Speaker 10: praying that we can get it done. We're officially done.
- 24:16Speaker 10: This Sunday, we'll close the books, a Monday morning, tally up,
- 24:18Speaker 10: whatever happens. God has done through That Kevin Show. And
- 24:22Speaker 10: get these Bibles on their way, but be a part
- 24:24Speaker 10: of this 800-YES-WORD or ThatKevinShow.com.
- 24:28Speaker 5: Yeah, Kevin, I want to take you to Tanzania, Africa.
- 24:31Speaker 10: Again, this is the part of the world where Christianity
- 24:33Speaker 10: is growing in the greatest numbers.
- 24:35Speaker 6: In the world.
- 24:36Speaker 10: I was chatting with my colleague, a man by the
- 24:38Speaker 10: name of Jared. We were talking about, you know, the
- 24:40Speaker 10: assurances that we have. God will accomplish his purpose in
- 24:44Speaker 10: this world. We were walking in from the parking lot, Kevin,
- 24:47Speaker 10: in the greater Chicago area. You've been to our headquarters.
- 24:50Speaker 10: You know what I'm talking about, right? And etched in
- 24:52Speaker 10: the front of our building is what? It's Isaiah 55.
- 24:54Speaker 10: It says, my word will go forth. It will not
- 24:57Speaker 10: return void. It will accomplish my purposes. And we have
- 25:00Speaker 10: that assurance today. Listen, Where it's necessary, Bible League gets
- 25:04Speaker 10: the highest marks from Charity Navigator, the Evangelical Council for
- 25:08Speaker 10: Financial Accountability. You deserve to know that, right? But also
- 25:11Speaker 10: be reminded about the precious promises of God, including that
- 25:15Speaker 10: of Isaiah 55. But Jared had just returned from a
- 25:18Speaker 10: trip to Tanzania. Kevin, he had given out Bibles to
- 25:21Speaker 10: about 200 new believers. One of those was an 80-year-old woman,
- 25:26Speaker 10: had walked with the Lord for about 20 years, had
- 25:28Speaker 10: lived so remotely. Kevin, she didn't have a, She didn't
- 25:31Speaker 10: have a cell phone. It had been rare that she'd
- 25:35Speaker 10: even looked at the face of a clock. That's remote,
- 25:38Speaker 10: isn't it? But Jared had this to say about her
- 25:41Speaker 10: finally receiving that Bible. And what a tremendous blessing that was,
- 25:45Speaker 10: not only to her, but to her entire community.
- 25:49Speaker 11: Isaiah 55 does really stand out because it shows that
- 25:53Speaker 11: we can really trust that when we are sharing the
- 25:55Speaker 11: Word of God, this is going to be an incredible investment.
- 25:59Speaker 11: We know that it's not going to return void. I
- 26:02Speaker 11: think of the testimony recently of Farasia in Tanzania. And
- 26:06Speaker 11: the area where she was at, she had never seen
- 26:09Speaker 11: a printed Bible study or even a Bible, you know,
- 26:12Speaker 11: in several different churches in there until she was in
- 26:15Speaker 11: retirement age and received her very first Bible as a
- 26:18Speaker 11: result of the generosity of Bible League donors. What an
- 26:22Speaker 11: incredible gift to her, to that village.
- 26:26Speaker 8: Again, what a gift.
- 26:27Speaker 10: And how did we make that possible? Well, it's through listeners.
- 26:30Speaker 10: Like those two, that Kevin show, Kevin. Again, Paul in
- 26:33Speaker 10: Galatians 6 says what? Bear one another's burdens and thus
- 26:37Speaker 10: fulfill the law of Christ. Kevin, you and I are
- 26:39Speaker 10: excited about church growth, right? We're excited we hear about
- 26:42Speaker 10: a church planted, you know, a former village witch doctor
- 26:45Speaker 10: coming to Christ. But I assure you there are forces
- 26:47Speaker 10: at work in this world that push back on all
- 26:50Speaker 10: of this. Again, it's not enough to get angry about
- 26:52Speaker 10: that or to feel indifferent about what's happening half a
- 26:55Speaker 10: world away. Do what people like Patrick Gloria Vaughn and
- 26:58Speaker 10: so many others have done.
- 26:59Speaker 1: They said, what?
- 27:00Speaker 10: Let's do something about it. If the princely sum of
- 27:03Speaker 10: $ 5 solves this for Christians like Farasa, they're deep in
- 27:07Speaker 10: the heart of Tanzania, Africa.
- 27:08Speaker 5: Let's do it today.
- 27:10Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 27:11Speaker 4: 800-937-9673, 1-800-937-9673. You can also give online by going to thatkevinshow.com.
- 27:18Speaker 4: Click the yellow banner at the top of the page.
- 27:20Speaker 4: Be a joy maker is what it says. You see
- 27:22Speaker 4: a big smile on the lady's face. That means she's
- 27:25Speaker 4: full of joy, and she's full of joy because she's
- 27:27Speaker 4: an actual Bible recipient. That Bible she's holding in that
- 27:30Speaker 4: picture is a Bible League Bible that was delivered to her.
- 27:34Speaker 4: But be a joy maker. Click that banner online. Give
- 27:37Speaker 4: that gift and get it matched right now. Bible for Bible,
- 27:40Speaker 4: dollar for dollar, 1-800-937-9673, 1-800-937-9673. You're listening to That Kevin Show.
- 27:42Speaker 4: You can also go online at thatkevinshow.com.
- 28:08Speaker 8: Here he is from New York, that Kevin, Kevin McCullough.
- 28:18Speaker 4: Welcome back to Times Square. It's That Kevin Show, thatkevinshow.com
- 28:22Speaker 4: for all things related, including the television episodes, the daily
- 28:26Speaker 4: column at Town Hall, and of course the podcast for
- 28:28Speaker 4: everything that we do on the radio. Glad to have
- 28:30Speaker 4: you with us. Never behind a paywall. Never want you
- 28:33Speaker 4: to have to pay a dime to get access to truth.
- 28:35Speaker 4: We want you to have complete access to it. That's
- 28:38Speaker 4: why we do it that way. So thank you for
- 28:39Speaker 4: being there. Rabbi Schneider is somebody who's been with us
- 28:44Speaker 4: many times in the past when I've just been on
- 28:46Speaker 4: in New York. But he has a global ministry that
- 28:50Speaker 4: is on TV and radio. He's on many of the
- 28:52Speaker 4: same stations this broadcast is heard on. And Rabbi, it
- 28:56Speaker 4: is always wonderful to have you with us. I have
- 28:58Speaker 4: to tell you, I was traveling from northern New Jersey
- 29:04Speaker 4: into New York City a few weeks ago. It probably
- 29:07Speaker 4: happened I don't know, four or five times now that
- 29:09Speaker 4: it's caught my attention, which is pretty interesting because it
- 29:12Speaker 4: takes a little bit to get my attention. But once
- 29:14Speaker 4: it does, it's like I zero in on it. And
- 29:17Speaker 4: I'm going through the like the the collar communities of
- 29:21Speaker 4: Manhattan there in North Jersey to the George Washington Bridge.
- 29:24Speaker 4: And as I get close to the or just past,
- 29:27Speaker 4: I think it is the one of the big malls there.
- 29:30Speaker 4: There's this huge billboard, white background, big block. red letters, jews.com.
- 29:38Speaker 4: And I thought with that, all of the anti-Semitism, with
- 29:41Speaker 4: all the stuff that's going on in the world today,
- 29:44Speaker 4: for someone to take out a URL and put it
- 29:47Speaker 4: on a billboard like that is a bold move, especially
- 29:50Speaker 4: in the New York City tri-state area where we have
- 29:52Speaker 4: such a problem with the anti-Semitism and everything else. And
- 29:55Speaker 4: then I read that it is a work of you
- 29:59Speaker 4: and your ministry and what you're doing with it. And
- 30:01Speaker 4: I'm just fascinated by this. But welcome back. It's great
- 30:04Speaker 4: to have you. Tell us what your goal is in
- 30:07Speaker 4: the Jews.com big signs. And they're all over the tri-state.
- 30:12Speaker 6: They're all over.
- 30:13Speaker 12: It's massive what we're doing throughout New York City and
- 30:15Speaker 12: northern New Jersey. First of all, this is a God story, Kevin,
- 30:19Speaker 12: in our audience today. In September of 2023, I know
- 30:23Speaker 12: this is a little bit out there, but the fact
- 30:25Speaker 12: that I own Jews.com gives credibility to what I'm about
- 30:28Speaker 12: to share. In September of 2023, I had an experience
- 30:33Speaker 12: one night where I was sleeping, Kevin, but I was awake.
- 30:37Speaker 12: It was like I was sleeping in the night. It
- 30:38Speaker 12: was like three in the morning or something. I don't
- 30:40Speaker 12: know what time it was, but I was awake of
- 30:42Speaker 12: what was going on. And in this spiritual experience, I
- 30:45Speaker 12: was in like this gray, it felt like a spiritual
- 30:48Speaker 12: weather pattern.
- 30:49Speaker 5: Like I was surrounded by this gray atmosphere. It almost
- 30:52Speaker 5: felt oppressive.
- 30:53Speaker 12: And a voice kept speaking to me the same words
- 30:56Speaker 12: over and over and over again. Acts 2.22, Tetrarch. Over
- 31:02Speaker 12: and over, the voice kept coming, Kevin. It didn't feel good.
- 31:05Speaker 12: It was, it almost felt oppressive.
- 31:07Speaker 5: Like, what is this?
- 31:07Speaker 12: Like, I wanted to get it off me, but it
- 31:09Speaker 12: kept on coming, Acts 2.22, Tetrarch. As soon as I
- 31:12Speaker 12: got out of bed in the morning, I went down
- 31:14Speaker 12: to my prayer room. I opened up the Word of
- 31:16Speaker 12: God to specifically read, well, what exactly does Acts 2.22 say?
- 31:20Speaker 12: And in a nutshell, here's what it says. God is
- 31:24Speaker 12: revealing in his word.
- 31:25Speaker 5: Peter is speaking. And Peter is speaking to Israel. And
- 31:28Speaker 5: he says this. Men of Israel, listen to these words.
- 31:32Speaker 12: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by miracles, signs,
- 31:38Speaker 12: and wonders, just as you yourself know, you put to
- 31:41Speaker 12: death by the predetermined plan of God through godless men.
- 31:45Speaker 12: But God raised him up again since the grave was
- 31:49Speaker 12: not able to.
- 31:50Speaker 5: To hold them in its power.
- 31:52Speaker 12: And as soon as I read that, Kevin, in our
- 31:54Speaker 12: audience today, I knew that God was calling me to
- 31:56Speaker 12: directly challenge and confront Israel with the gospel. That's what
- 32:00Speaker 12: Peter was doing in Acts 2.22. Men of Israel, listen
- 32:03Speaker 12: to these words. And the word that also came to
- 32:07Speaker 12: me in September of 2023 was the word tetrarch.
- 32:09Speaker 5: It was Acts 2.22, tetrarch.
- 32:10Speaker 13: Acts 2.22, tetrarch.
- 32:14Speaker 5: I didn't know what tetrarch was. I heard of it before.
- 32:16Speaker 5: I didn't know what it was.
- 32:18Speaker 12: What it is, it's a governmental ruler. Technically, it's a
- 32:22Speaker 12: ruler of a fourth of a kingdom, but it's a
- 32:24Speaker 12: governmental term that someone has authority in this particular area.
- 32:28Speaker 12: So I knew the Lord was telling me, I'm calling
- 32:30Speaker 12: you to challenge Israel with the gospel, and I've given
- 32:32Speaker 12: you authority to do this. So I felt completely incompetent. Like,
- 32:37Speaker 12: how in the world am I going to challenge Israel.
- 32:39Speaker 5: With the gospel? I mean, look, how am I going
- 32:41Speaker 5: to do that?
- 32:41Speaker 12: But I was confident and knew that God had spoken
- 32:44Speaker 12: to me. So bottom line, we began by putting up
- 32:47Speaker 12: billboards in Israel, the physical, you know, nation of Israel.
- 32:52Speaker 12: And the billboard said, what if he's right in Hebrew?
- 32:55Speaker 12: And it had an image of a man. You couldn't
- 32:57Speaker 12: tell who it was. So the concept was people would say, well,
- 33:00Speaker 12: what if who's right?
- 33:01Speaker 5: Then they'd go to the.
- 33:02Speaker 12: Domain name and they would find some messianic prophecy. And
- 33:06Speaker 12: then finally, after the last messianic prophecy, the image that
- 33:09Speaker 12: they saw on the billboard of the man's face But
- 33:12Speaker 12: they were unable to see who the man was because
- 33:13Speaker 12: it was fuzzy. All of a sudden, at the end
- 33:16Speaker 12: of the communication, when they went to the domain, what
- 33:19Speaker 12: if he's right? The man's face became clear and the
- 33:23Speaker 12: face of Jesus appeared with a thorn of crowns on
- 33:25Speaker 12: his head and blood coming down his face. And then
- 33:28Speaker 12: Jesus saying, do not think I've come to abolish the law,
- 33:30Speaker 12: but fulfill it. And then we gave him the opportunity
- 33:33Speaker 12: to download a book that I wrote on messianic prophecy
- 33:36Speaker 12: for free. So we were spending a lot of money
- 33:38Speaker 12: in Israel doing this, but we were not getting the response, Kevin,
- 33:41Speaker 12: that I was believing for. So I got my key
- 33:44Speaker 12: executives together in my office, specifically in January, it was
- 33:48Speaker 12: several months ago to talk about this. I believe it was,
- 33:51Speaker 12: it was right early January of this year. I got
- 33:55Speaker 12: them together and I said, listen, guys, We know God's
- 33:58Speaker 12: called us to challenge Israel, but what we're doing is
- 34:01Speaker 12: not working.
- 34:03Speaker 5: We need to figure out what to do next.
- 34:05Speaker 12: And I never told them before that it wasn't working,
- 34:08Speaker 12: but this meeting was called to admit where it's not working.
- 34:11Speaker 5: So we're in my office to try to figure out
- 34:13Speaker 5: what to do next.
- 34:15Speaker 12: And Kevin, I looked down at my phone and I
- 34:17Speaker 12: had an email or a text or email, I forget,
- 34:19Speaker 12: from a domain name broker I hadn't done business.
- 34:22Speaker 5: With in three years. I had not heard from the guy.
- 34:25Speaker 5: And there he says, Rabbi, I've got an.
- 34:26Speaker 12: Email, a domain name that I think you might be
- 34:28Speaker 12: interested in, jews.com.
- 34:31Speaker 4: Good and evil forces that are at work here. I'll
- 34:33Speaker 4: give you the last word.
- 34:34Speaker 5: Thank you, brother. And thank you for praying.
- 34:36Speaker 12: We just got an email from somebody last week. They
- 34:38Speaker 12: emailed us through Jews.com and he said exactly this is
- 34:41Speaker 12: what he said.
- 34:42Speaker 5: I'm a Jewish man. How can I follow?
- 34:45Speaker 12: Jesus as the Messiah. So we're getting all different. We're
- 34:48Speaker 12: getting anti-Semites. We're getting people that hate me and Jesus
- 34:51Speaker 12: and what we're doing. And then we're getting Jewish people
- 34:54Speaker 12: that want more information, even to the extent of the
- 34:57Speaker 12: email that we just got last week. Listen, people that
- 34:59Speaker 12: want to support this, please do. Go to discoveringthejewishjesus.com and give,
- 35:05Speaker 12: because this literally, Kevin, I won't even tell you how
- 35:07Speaker 12: much money this is costing us, but there's no information
- 35:11Speaker 12: on jews.com, no asking people to give.
- 35:13Speaker 14: Right, right, right.
- 35:14Speaker 4: It's a pure evangelistic.
- 35:15Speaker 5: It's all designed to reach Jewish people.
- 35:17Speaker 12: So if this is touching you, you that are listening,
- 35:19Speaker 12: please go to Discovering the Jewish Jesus and donate. Help
- 35:22Speaker 12: us to do what we're doing because we want to
- 35:23Speaker 12: bring this to other cities in the United States and
- 35:26Speaker 12: reach every Jew in this country.
- 35:28Speaker 3: Excellent.
- 35:29Speaker 4: Rabbi, thank you for your time. Discovering the Jewish Jesus
- 35:32Speaker 4: is heard on many of the same stations that you
- 35:33Speaker 4: get that Kevin show. And I encourage you to check
- 35:36Speaker 4: that out and discoveringthejewishjesus.com how you can support this effort.
- 35:40Speaker 4: Rabbi Schneider, we appreciate it. Kevin McCullough coming right back
- 35:43Speaker 4: from Times Square. Don't go anywhere.
- 35:45Speaker 8: Stick around for more of That Kevin next. Serving it
- 36:02Speaker 8: up with a no-drink minnow. It's That Kevin Show.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Welcome back.
- 36:10Speaker 4: Kelly McCullough, final few minutes of the first hour today.
- 36:13Speaker 4: Glad to have you here. I got to weigh in
- 36:17Speaker 4: on something that happened yesterday with New York Magazine. Not
- 36:21Speaker 4: that New York Magazine is something that I read.
- 36:23Speaker 6: I don't.
- 36:25Speaker 4: But they did stake out some interesting territory yesterday. I'll
- 36:29Speaker 4: get to that in just a second. Hey, I don't
- 36:31Speaker 4: know if you were listening yesterday, but I had the
- 36:33Speaker 4: strangest and coolest thing happen I've ever had in dealing
- 36:37Speaker 4: with a health insurance company. You know I've been telling
- 36:40Speaker 4: you about Vic Pritchard and DFW Direct Insurance for a
- 36:43Speaker 4: few months now, and Vic has not only helped me
- 36:46Speaker 4: save $ 400 a month on my premiums, so that's my
- 36:50Speaker 4: month-to-month nugget that I'm paying for the health insurance for
- 36:54Speaker 4: my family, a family of five. Previously, under our old
- 36:59Speaker 4: medical sharing program that we were in, where you submit
- 37:05Speaker 4: your receipts to a group of people and they decide
- 37:07Speaker 4: if they're going to share the costs or not, we
- 37:10Speaker 4: were paying significantly more. Family of five, they were agreeing
- 37:15Speaker 4: to cover less. I'm not understanding why that was the case.
- 37:18Speaker 4: But it got to the point where we were just
- 37:20Speaker 4: having to find another option. And someone told me about
- 37:23Speaker 4: Vic and DFW Direct Insurance. I called him up from
- 37:26Speaker 4: the very first moment I spoke to him on the phone.
- 37:29Speaker 4: I was like, Vic, you're wonderful. This is incredible. I
- 37:32Speaker 4: can't believe this. I said, how much do you save
- 37:35Speaker 4: on average every person that calls you? And he says,
- 37:37Speaker 4: it's somewhere in the 38 to 45% range. Every person
- 37:41Speaker 4: that they help, they save that much on their health insurance. Friends,
- 37:45Speaker 4: I don't care if you have insurance through your company.
- 37:47Speaker 4: I don't care if you have insurance from your, you know,
- 37:51Speaker 4: if you're an employer providing it for yourself or if
- 37:54Speaker 4: you're a small business and you're providing it for your workers,
- 37:58Speaker 4: you owe it to yourself to call Vic Pritchard at
- 38:02Speaker 4: DFW Direct Insurance and say, Vic, can you help me?
- 38:06Speaker 4: And if he can, he will. And if he can't,
- 38:08Speaker 4: he will just tell you straight out. But he also
- 38:11Speaker 4: gave me permission to give you his cell phone number
- 38:14Speaker 4: so that you could call him.
- 38:15Speaker 14: 817-449-5557.
- 38:15Speaker 6: 817-449-5557.
- 38:15Speaker 4: So I'm already saving $ 400 a month. Then my bride
- 38:26Speaker 4: takes my daughter to back to school doctor visit where they,
- 38:30Speaker 4: you know, check everything out and they make sure that
- 38:32Speaker 4: she has all of her vaccinations and everything they need
- 38:34Speaker 4: for school. The whole thing with the visit and everything
- 38:37Speaker 4: else was like $ 900 if I was to pay out
- 38:39Speaker 4: of pocket, but we have a plan that has zero
- 38:42Speaker 4: out of pocket costs. And not only that, the plan
- 38:46Speaker 4: pays a fixed rate for things like office visits. And
- 38:49Speaker 4: when you're going to someone in network, you get a
- 38:52Speaker 4: massive discount. So oftentimes the, The insurance company paying on
- 38:57Speaker 4: a claim that's in network ends up with a surplus
- 39:01Speaker 4: of what they pay. And I got an $ 11 rebate
- 39:04Speaker 4: check on a $ 900 visit that my daughter had to
- 39:07Speaker 4: the doctor. I didn't pay anything out of pocket. I
- 39:10Speaker 4: didn't pay anything except my premium. And I got an
- 39:13Speaker 4: $ 11 check back on that visit. That is incredible. And
- 39:18Speaker 4: you could have a similar experience by calling Vic Pritchard today, 817-449-5557.
- 39:22Speaker 4: I've never seen health insurance this good. We have more conversations.
- 39:30Speaker 4: on more things for our family of five than we
- 39:32Speaker 4: had when we were paying $ 400 a month with the
- 39:34Speaker 4: medical sharing thing. It's unlike anything I've ever had. And
- 39:39Speaker 4: I got a rebate check on top of it.
- 39:41Speaker 9: 817-449-5557.
- 39:41Speaker 6: 817-449-5557.
- 39:42Speaker 4: And when you call Ask them about the cash back
- 39:52Speaker 4: on the drug plans that they offer as well. Because
- 39:56Speaker 4: if you get a drug that costs a certain amount
- 40:01Speaker 4: and the drug plan covers it, you could get a
- 40:04Speaker 4: rebate check of $ 50 to $ 75 on every prescription that
- 40:08Speaker 4: you have. So call and see for yourself.
- 40:11Speaker 3: 817-449-5557. All right.
- 40:12Speaker 4: I'm going to put off the story that I was
- 40:15Speaker 4: going to do about New York Magazine until next hour.
- 40:19Speaker 4: But it's so ridiculous. I have to comment on it.
- 40:23Speaker 4: Coming up, hour number two, and we've got another great hour.

- 43:25Speaker 4: Hope you'll check that out.
- 43:27Speaker 3: All right.
- 43:28Speaker 4: Today, news-wise, it's a pretty crummy day for this reason.
- 43:34Speaker 4: Lindsey Clancy is back in court. And I thought we
- 43:38Speaker 4: would be done with this for a while. And evidently,
- 43:40Speaker 4: it's right back. We're right back again. So her defense attorney, Mr. Reddington,
- 43:50Speaker 4: and the prosecutor are locking horns over what should be
- 43:55Speaker 4: addressed and what shouldn't be. One of the things that
- 44:00Speaker 4: the defense lawyer for Lindsay Clancy has requested is for
- 44:05Speaker 4: the judge to take an issue that and set up
- 44:09Speaker 4: an inquiry into the lone holdout juror, Michael Desronville, who,
- 44:15Speaker 4: by the way, for the first time yesterday, spoke as
- 44:19Speaker 4: to the situation. And the summary of his statement was
- 44:25Speaker 4: that it's wrong to make him the focus of what's
- 44:29Speaker 4: happened here, as it is the children who have died,
- 44:32Speaker 4: which was the reason why he couldn't let Lindsay Clancy walk.
- 44:37Speaker 4: There were dead kids. in the path of her getting freedom.
- 44:42Speaker 4: Her wheelchairs were wheeling through her children's blood, metaphorically speaking.
- 44:48Speaker 4: So evidently the defense lawyer for Lindsay did not like
- 44:52Speaker 4: that and said, well, we can't be letting this guy
- 44:58Speaker 4: be out there talking. So he's now asked the judge
- 45:03Speaker 4: in the Lindsay Clancy trial to set up a motion
- 45:07Speaker 4: for one day Look into the... And I don't know
- 45:11Speaker 4: what they're going to look into. You can't intimidate a
- 45:14Speaker 4: juror into voting how you want him to vote. And
- 45:18Speaker 4: all the Karens that were on that jury, and that's
- 45:21Speaker 4: what they were, man.
- 45:22Speaker 6: I'm telling you.
- 45:23Speaker 4: Every last one of them.
- 45:25Speaker 3: Well, didn't you.
- 45:26Speaker 4: Know that she had really strong feelings? Yeah, so? Well,
- 45:32Speaker 4: didn't you hear that she was really sad?
- 45:34Speaker 12: Yes.
- 45:35Speaker 6: Yes.
- 45:37Speaker 4: But we don't let her kill her children because she's sad.
- 45:41Speaker 4: But she was really, really sad. And they said it
- 45:44Speaker 4: in court. This is the level of the argument that
- 45:48Speaker 4: has been going on and why the juror, as one
- 45:52Speaker 4: of his fellow jurors said to, I think it was
- 45:54Speaker 4: 60 Minutes or one of the shows, but she said
- 45:57Speaker 4: he just couldn't get past the fact that she had
- 45:59Speaker 4: brutally killed her kids. No kidding. Imagine a juror on
- 46:04Speaker 4: a murder trial saying, being incapable of getting past the
- 46:07Speaker 4: fact that she had brutally murdered her own children. And
- 46:10Speaker 4: don't start with me saying it was the husband. She
- 46:13Speaker 4: said she did it. Her attorney said she did it.
- 46:17Speaker 4: The police said she did it. Everybody that looked at
- 46:20Speaker 4: it has said she did it. Her doctor said she,
- 46:22Speaker 4: everybody has said that she did it. So she did it.
- 46:25Speaker 4: You just want to excuse the killing of children to
- 46:30Speaker 4: ingratiate yourself to these people that are saying, oh, we're
- 46:34Speaker 4: not being merciful enough. If we say that she killed
- 46:36Speaker 4: her children, no, she killed her children. It doesn't do
- 46:40Speaker 4: us any moral good to pretend that she didn't. Now,
- 46:47Speaker 4: the assistant district attorney, Jennifer Sprague, has pushed back strongly
- 46:53Speaker 4: against the unsealing of the deadlock notes from the jury,
- 46:56Speaker 4: warning the court that exposing sensitive deliberative communications would set
- 47:00Speaker 4: a dangerous precedent. If we go further to make public
- 47:03Speaker 4: notes sent by the jury, it just would all pile
- 47:07Speaker 4: on to have this repeated chilling effect that would harm
- 47:10Speaker 4: and irreparably our judicial system, Sprague argued, emphasizing that future
- 47:15Speaker 4: jurors might hesitate to communicate with the judge if they
- 47:18Speaker 4: fear their private discussions will be broadcast to the public.
- 47:20Speaker 4: I don't think she's wrong. When jurors are asking judges
- 47:24Speaker 4: for information and for notes on stuff that happened in
- 47:28Speaker 4: the trial, they're doing that so that they can make
- 47:29Speaker 4: the best decision that they can. But you can't, if
- 47:34Speaker 4: you're doing that under the, premise that your communications are shielded,
- 47:38Speaker 4: you're going to ask for things in a different way
- 47:41Speaker 4: than if there's a possibility that it might get leaked
- 47:43Speaker 4: at some point in time. And you might not ask
- 47:44Speaker 4: those questions at all then. One other thing, Kevin Reddington,
- 47:50Speaker 4: the defense attorney, was pushing back today against claims that
- 47:55Speaker 4: his team targeted a holdout juror, telling the judge that
- 47:59Speaker 4: they are sick of being accused of persecuting the juror
- 48:02Speaker 4: before declining to address the pending motion on jury notes.
- 48:06Speaker 4: The tense atmosphere gave way to a brief moment of
- 48:08Speaker 4: levity as the court turned to trial scheduling when Assistant
- 48:12Speaker 4: District Attorney Jennifer Sprague argued against setting a trial date
- 48:16Speaker 4: until all outstanding motions are resolved, and Reddington agreed with her.
- 48:21Speaker 4: So they've got all these little tit-for-tat procedures that they
- 48:26Speaker 4: need to go through to try to wrap up what's
- 48:31Speaker 4: before them now to say that they're ready to start
- 48:34Speaker 4: the retrial. But the defense attorney is getting mad. He's
- 48:39Speaker 4: sick of being accused that they have been persecuting a juror.
- 48:44Speaker 4: Of course, it's the lone holdout juror that everyone's referring to.
- 48:47Speaker 4: And of course, they've been harassing him. This isn't even
- 48:53Speaker 4: the least bit unclear. The other jurors went on primetime
- 48:58Speaker 4: TV to explain to the world why they believe this
- 49:02Speaker 4: holdout juror was the devil. And he's evidently a man
- 49:07Speaker 4: of deep and devout faith. He's a father of small children.
- 49:12Speaker 4: You can understand why he might just not be able
- 49:15Speaker 4: to get over the fact that a mom brutally murdered
- 49:19Speaker 4: her children. That seems pretty reasonable to be upset about
- 49:24Speaker 4: if you're a juror and you're hearing the evidence in
- 49:27Speaker 4: this case. And then when everybody on her side said
- 49:30Speaker 4: that she did it, including herself, how are you supposed
- 49:34Speaker 4: to process that? But then after that trial is over,
- 49:38Speaker 4: you're Your name and person is getting linked all throughout
- 49:43Speaker 4: the media as being the guy that didn't let the
- 49:47Speaker 4: mom go free when she was found innocent. She wasn't
- 49:50Speaker 4: found innocent, by the way. A mistrial was declared. And
- 49:53Speaker 4: even if the jury had said she was innocent, friends,
- 49:56Speaker 4: I can never, in this life, I can't forgive that.
- 50:01Speaker 4: That is something that is too gruesome and too heinous
- 50:04Speaker 4: and too evil for me to even be able to comprehend.
- 50:07Speaker 4: And I have to trust that God's judgment of it
- 50:11Speaker 4: will be the best judgment possible. So I have to
- 50:14Speaker 4: leave that to him because in my own natural strength,
- 50:18Speaker 4: I would be strapping her to the electric chair without
- 50:23Speaker 4: one ounce of worry about it. My conscience would be clear.
- 50:28Speaker 4: You killed your three kids brutally. That's why they don't
- 50:31Speaker 4: let me be in charge of such things. Kevin McCullough
- 50:34Speaker 4: coming right back.
- 50:53Speaker 8: Here he is, from New York, that Kevin, Kevin McCullough.
- 51:03Speaker 4: All right, welcome back. It's Tuesday, and we always appreciate
- 51:06Speaker 4: the fact that KT McFarlane carves out some very valuable
- 51:09Speaker 4: time of her schedule to enlighten us a little bit
- 51:11Speaker 4: on some of the things that are not clearly evident
- 51:14Speaker 4: to the naked eye, and KT, I'm always appreciative of that.
- 51:17Speaker 4: I've known you, I don't know how many years, I
- 51:19Speaker 4: think we go back quite a ways, and every time
- 51:22Speaker 4: Every conversation.
- 51:23Speaker 13: Not not yours.
- 51:24Speaker 4: Every every conversation I have with you in private, in public,
- 51:28Speaker 4: on the air, off the air. I always learn something.
- 51:31Speaker 4: And so it's something that I'm just really grateful for.
- 51:33Speaker 4: And you bring this expertise to my listeners now. And
- 51:36Speaker 4: I just want to say thank you for that. Last
- 51:39Speaker 4: week you had the. fireworks of the un and all
- 51:43Speaker 4: the crazy back and forth and the flat-nosed guy from
- 51:46Speaker 4: iran saying we've never launched a terror attack on anybody
- 51:49Speaker 4: in 200 years and i'm like october 7th dude come
- 51:52Speaker 4: on and like it's just it's it's the absurd it's
- 51:55Speaker 4: the theater of the absurd now so let's separate that
- 51:58Speaker 4: out and look at the narrow time frame of what
- 52:02Speaker 4: is to come particularly between now and year end And
- 52:06Speaker 4: what what are the mechanisms at President Trump's disposal to
- 52:12Speaker 4: effectively force Iran to do what they need to do?
- 52:16Speaker 4: Because it does not look like they're going to go
- 52:18Speaker 4: willingly into the great good night.
- 52:21Speaker 15: Yeah, I think I would separate until the end of
- 52:24Speaker 15: the year. I'd separate that into two sections, one before
- 52:27Speaker 15: the election, two after the election. Before the election, Iran
- 52:33Speaker 15: still thinks it's going to trick President Trump or pressure
- 52:37Speaker 15: President Trump into somehow conceding a deal on their terms
- 52:42Speaker 15: because he's so nervous about the price of gasoline and
- 52:46Speaker 15: the outcome of the November election.
- 52:49Speaker 13: I think it's already baked into the cake.
- 52:51Speaker 15: And from what the president has said and the people
- 52:53Speaker 15: around him, they assume that there's no deal coming on
- 52:56Speaker 15: Iran's part. And we're not going to do a deal
- 52:59Speaker 15: that's bad for us. So no deal coming. And so
- 53:03Speaker 15: whatever happens in the midterms happens in the midterms. The
- 53:07Speaker 15: day after the midterms, however, I think all hell gets unleashed.
- 53:11Speaker 15: And not just the United States, but the Gulf Arabs
- 53:15Speaker 15: and Israel acting together. I mean, I keep thinking of
- 53:19Speaker 15: it like the Godfather trilogy, part three movie of the Godfather.
- 53:23Speaker 13: Remember, the Godfather settles all scores.
- 53:26Speaker 15: I think the day after the election, There'll be nothing
- 53:29Speaker 15: holding President Trump back from probably pretty significant devastation of Iran,
- 53:34Speaker 15: not just the remaining military sites, but any even potentially
- 53:39Speaker 15: their energy infrastructure and their civilian infrastructure. Now, why do
- 53:42Speaker 15: I say that there'll be no Hulsbar? You know, right now, today,
- 53:45Speaker 15: the Saudis and the other Gulf Arabs, they want us
- 53:49Speaker 15: on one hand to sort of hold back because they're
- 53:51Speaker 15: nervous that Iran is going to attack. their energy infrastructure,
- 53:56Speaker 15: but at the same time, they want the United States
- 53:58Speaker 15: to go in and, for example, destroy the Houthis, etc.
- 54:02Speaker 15: So once there are no holes barred on the United
- 54:05Speaker 15: States from the U.S. political perspective, then I think it's,
- 54:10Speaker 15: you know, everybody's going to go after Iran. Before that, again,
- 54:14Speaker 15: before and after the election, before the election, I think
- 54:17Speaker 15: that Iran, realizing that it's straight of Hormuz threat and
- 54:21Speaker 15: all of its threats aren't terribly effective anymore because oil
- 54:25Speaker 15: has found workarounds to the Strait of Hormuz, that maybe
- 54:28Speaker 15: Iran escalates. Maybe Iran decides, okay, now we're going to
- 54:31Speaker 15: go for broke. We're going to escalate this war to
- 54:34Speaker 15: make it a regional Middle East war. And at that point, again,
- 54:38Speaker 15: I think President Trump has no inhibitions to retaliate in
- 54:44Speaker 15: an extremely significant way.
- 54:46Speaker 4: Which is ultimately what the region needs. And I think
- 54:51Speaker 4: that There's no reasonable way to deal with the decision
- 54:55Speaker 4: makers in Iran. And the president of Iran can come
- 54:58Speaker 4: over here and grumble all he wants to at the
- 55:02Speaker 4: podium at the UN. Nobody believes that he has any
- 55:05Speaker 4: decision-making ability. There's no one. It's like you sent the
- 55:10Speaker 4: JV coach over to try to play the game on
- 55:13Speaker 4: behalf of the team. There's nobody there. It's an empty suit.
- 55:17Speaker 4: And these guys, the IRGC, have been unwilling to be
- 55:25Speaker 4: able to enter into discussions that follow traditional, rational, logical outcomes.
- 55:33Speaker 4: And I guess what I'm curious about, KT, is do
- 55:37Speaker 4: the Arab states that you mentioned, because I was a
- 55:39Speaker 4: little surprised that you said that, is the reason they
- 55:41Speaker 4: would join the effort is because they understand just what
- 55:44Speaker 4: lunatics these guys are as well.
- 55:47Speaker 15: I think so, and I realize that you have to
- 55:50Speaker 15: destroy the snake. I keep thinking back. There was a
- 55:53Speaker 15: brilliant long article written by Ayaan Ali Hershey, a woman
- 55:57Speaker 15: who had.
- 55:57Speaker 4: Been originally— I know her well, yeah.
- 56:01Speaker 15: As you know, so originally sort of a Muslim convert
- 56:05Speaker 15: to the extremist cause and then completely changed her position.
- 56:09Speaker 13: And she wrote to say, look, the West needs.
- 56:11Speaker 15: To understand that there's a mentality, a mindset of the Iranians—
- 56:16Speaker 15: and the radical extremists in Iran and throughout the region,
- 56:21Speaker 15: that there's no compromise. And they want to bring about
- 56:24Speaker 15: the end of the world. They think that that's their ticket.
- 56:28Speaker 15: We think it's nuts, but they really do believe if
- 56:31Speaker 15: they can.
- 56:31Speaker 13: Bring about the end of the world.
- 56:33Speaker 15: That they get what they want, either in this world
- 56:36Speaker 15: or the next. And so they have this messianic death wish.
- 56:41Speaker 15: And there's no reasoning with people who have that messianic
- 56:45Speaker 15: death wish. And so I guess I've reluctantly come to
- 56:48Speaker 15: the conclusion that whoever is the leadership, and I agree
- 56:52Speaker 15: with you, it's the IRGC, it's the radicals. Ayatollahs that
- 56:57Speaker 15: there's just no convincing them otherwise that they have to
- 56:59Speaker 15: be eliminated.
- 57:00Speaker 4: There's been a lot of discussion on social media in
- 57:03Speaker 4: the last couple of days as Google Earth has released
- 57:06Speaker 4: the new pictures of the Gaza region and everything's blown
- 57:09Speaker 4: off the map and they're saying that this is the
- 57:13Speaker 4: destruction of war and this is what we've caused and
- 57:16Speaker 4: all the rest of it. Forgetting completely that October 7th
- 57:18Speaker 4: was not of Israel's choosing. But I want to touch
- 57:24Speaker 4: on that for a second. One of the things that
- 57:25Speaker 4: I think made Gaza so tricky is that you had
- 57:31Speaker 4: a hard time distinguishing the radicals from the normal citizens
- 57:36Speaker 4: in Gaza. And in fact, I think you had a
- 57:39Speaker 4: lot of people that kind of had motivations to kind
- 57:43Speaker 4: of swing whatever way the weather showed them that day,
- 57:46Speaker 4: depending on how they were trying to survive. Is that
- 57:49Speaker 4: the same in Iran? We see these huge protests that
- 57:53Speaker 4: take place after every election that they hold, and it's
- 57:55Speaker 4: millions and millions of people, it looks like. And yet
- 57:59Speaker 4: they have not taken the opportunity to throw off these guys,
- 58:04Speaker 4: even with foreign support. Is there an Iranian population that
- 58:10Speaker 4: truly does want us to finish off the IRGC? And
- 58:14Speaker 4: if so, do we recruit them for that fight?
- 58:16Speaker 13: You know, there are no popular opinion polls that we
- 58:18Speaker 13: can rely on in Iran, right?
- 58:20Speaker 15: Nobody's going to be able to gauge the temperature of
- 58:23Speaker 15: the average 90 million Iranian citizens. But just from anecdotally,
- 58:30Speaker 15: it's pretty clear that the IRGC and the Ayatollahs, the
- 58:34Speaker 15: radical Ayatollahs, they have a firm grip on everything, on
- 58:38Speaker 15: the economy, on the terror weapon, on the government.
- 58:41Speaker 13: Even on a lot of the government officials.
- 58:43Speaker 15: And they don't seem to care about the 90 million
- 58:46Speaker 15: other fellow citizens.
- 58:48Speaker 13: Again, they want to bring about the end of the world.
- 58:51Speaker 15: And it's like Nazi, it's like Hitler and Nazi Germany,
- 58:54Speaker 15: or it's like Kim Jong-un or the Kim family in
- 58:57Speaker 15: North Korea. Or as you point out, it's like Hamas
- 59:01Speaker 15: in Gaza. They don't really care about their people. But
- 59:04Speaker 15: I've got to assume that in a country of 90
- 59:07Speaker 15: million well-educated, smart, innovative, creative people, that there is somebody
- 59:13Speaker 15: that is going to stand up or some groups or
- 59:16Speaker 15: is there going to be a fractured leadership group?
- 59:19Speaker 13: Is there going to be someone that we can support?
- 59:21Speaker 13: I also have to assume that between.
- 59:23Speaker 15: The Gulf Arabs, Mossad, and the U.S., we have a
- 59:26Speaker 15: lot of intelligence of who are we working with people.
- 59:29Speaker 15: If we're not working with people, we're fools. But are
- 59:32Speaker 15: we working with people within Iran who could then be
- 59:35Speaker 15: the new leadership group if the IRGC is eliminated, the
- 59:39Speaker 15: senior leadership of the IRGC?
- 59:40Speaker 4: Didn't it feel for a little bit like the Speaker
- 59:43Speaker 4: of the House and the President were those people? And
- 59:46Speaker 4: maybe they aren't. But not based on his performance at
- 59:49Speaker 4: the UN last week.
- 59:51Speaker 13: Those guys are terrified.
- 59:52Speaker 15: You know, the people that you're referring to, like the
- 59:54Speaker 15: president of the country, the speaker of the parliament, the
- 59:57Speaker 15: people that we've been negotiating with, they're terrified because they've
- 1:00:01Speaker 15: got to walk a really fine line on one hand.
- 1:00:04Speaker 15: They worry about the Americans coming after them and assassinating them.
- 1:00:08Speaker 15: On the other hand, they worry about their own people
- 1:00:10Speaker 15: assassinating them and removing them from power.
- 1:00:13Speaker 13: So maybe is that a group that we can build on?
- 1:00:15Speaker 13: We don't know.
- 1:00:16Speaker 15: You and I don't know. And hopefully the intelligence community
- 1:00:19Speaker 15: does know. And hopefully these are people we're working with.
- 1:00:22Speaker 15: The same way during the Cold War, we worked with
- 1:00:25Speaker 15: opposition groups within Poland and with behind the iron curtain
- 1:00:30Speaker 15: that we we communicated with them in several ways so
- 1:00:33Speaker 15: that we knew if communism collapsed and the soviet union
- 1:00:37Speaker 15: disintegrated that we would have people we could work with
- 1:00:41Speaker 15: who could rebuild the country.
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: It is it is um it has been very interesting
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: to watch how this has all played out because i
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: don't think that netanyahu and trump necessarily thought that it
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: would go this long or turn into this fashion And
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: yet they're just proving just how extreme that they really are.
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: And to your point that they don't care about their
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: own people. And if all 90 million of them died,
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: they wouldn't shed a tear. That's what they want to have.
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: That's what they're trying to have happen. The president, to
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: his credit, doesn't want to kill 90 million Iranians. He
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: wants to save as many of them as he can
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: that want to live and contribute to a prosperous future.
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: But that's a different discussion for a different day. KT,
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: I always appreciate your insights. Thank you.
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: You're welcome. Kevin McCullough coming right back.
- 1:01:28Speaker 8: Don't go away. Stick around for more of That Kevin next.
- 1:01:52Speaker 8: Here he is from New York, That Kevin, Kevin McCullough.
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: Welcome back. It's That Kevin Show, thatkevinshow.com. Back with us
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: is Michael Woolworth, who's checking in once again from HQ
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: in Bible League country. And Michael, before we do anything else,
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: let's just say thank you to some people that have
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: heard the call and have said, I've got to be
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: involved in getting Bibles to Christians who desperately need them.
- 1:02:18Speaker 10: Well, we added another 110 to the tally because of
- 1:02:21Speaker 10: people like Jose of Miami, Florida said, I'm in at
- 1:02:25Speaker 10: $ 300 for 60 Bibles. Rosemary of Federal Way, Washington said, Michael, Kevin,
- 1:02:29Speaker 10: count me in at 10 Bibles. Daniel of Southport, Connecticut said,
- 1:02:33Speaker 10: I want to be a part of this, a $ 200
- 1:02:34Speaker 10: gift for 40 Bibles. And then Kevin, we're going to
- 1:02:38Speaker 10: double each of those because of a Bible for Bible match.
- 1:02:40Speaker 10: Friends of Bible League in another part of the country said,
- 1:02:43Speaker 10: that believe so strongly in what we're doing have said, one,
- 1:02:45Speaker 10: we're going to double every single gift. There's a limited window.
- 1:02:49Speaker 10: They want to put Bibles into as many waiting hands
- 1:02:52Speaker 10: as possible. And so thanks to Jose, Rosemary, Daniel, many
- 1:02:56Speaker 10: others that have gotten us to this point. Kevin, we've
- 1:02:58Speaker 10: got 2,500 Bibles to go. We've seen thousands sent to
- 1:03:02Speaker 10: this point. We're running out of the month of September.
- 1:03:04Speaker 10: So if you're waiting to hear it's the 11th hour,
- 1:03:07Speaker 10: let me Let me throw this out. It's the 11th hour, folks, right?
- 1:03:10Speaker 10: It's the fourth quarter, right? We're down to like the
- 1:03:13Speaker 10: two-minute warning, right? If I can use some sports speak here.
- 1:03:17Speaker 10: But we're grateful to be at this point, Kevin. I'm
- 1:03:20Speaker 10: personally thankful that you share our enthusiasm and our burden
- 1:03:23Speaker 10: to see these Bibles reach these waiting believers. And this
- 1:03:27Speaker 10: listening family, again, being incredibly generous. I know gas is up.
- 1:03:31Speaker 10: Grocery is still costing more and more, right? But again,
- 1:03:33Speaker 10: somewhere in your budget, you're finding something. a place, a
- 1:03:37Speaker 10: way to send Bibles even half a world away. So
- 1:03:40Speaker 10: I'm grateful for that. Again, we're down to the final 2,500.
- 1:03:43Speaker 10: We're officially done Sunday. We'll tally up whatever God has
- 1:03:47Speaker 10: done through listeners to that Kevin show. We'll get these
- 1:03:50Speaker 10: Bibles on their way. As I say, you know, Christmas,
- 1:03:52Speaker 10: only 90-something days away, and to think that this year
- 1:03:55Speaker 10: these waiting believers who have gone without a Bible, some
- 1:03:58Speaker 10: of these for years, right, will be able to read
- 1:04:01Speaker 10: for themselves. the precious Christmas story. But Kevin, we're grateful.
- 1:04:04Speaker 10: We're down to the final 2,500, believing we can get
- 1:04:07Speaker 10: it done in the coming days.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: 1-800-937-9673.
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: If you've not yet given, that is the number to
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: where you can. And again, as Michael said, we are
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: running out of time. The end of this week is
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: the end of the campaign. 2,500 Bibles to go. I
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: don't want us to get to Sunday night and go, oh,
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: we just missed it by like just a little bit. No,
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: I want us to get this done so that these
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: people that have been on this list and Bible League
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: knows every single person that's receiving a Bible because most
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: of them, more than 90% of them have been qualified
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: for a Bible because they've completed the Project Philip Bible
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: study that has been done in their area by a
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: local pastor with them And because of that, they are
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: asking for a Bible to continue to study with, and
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: that's how they've been qualified for that. But they know
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: every single person. And what we're so ecstatic about being
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: able to do is we can tell ministry leaders that
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: are in these areas, many of whom we've played you
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: the story of, who have said, I need 30 Bibles here,
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: or 50 Bibles over there, or 1,000 Bibles for this. Michael,
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: what's the the tent city that is in the Middle
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: East where they literally have so many people that are there,
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: but they needed a thousand Bibles. That's because the gospel
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: is taking root in people's lives that are in hard places.
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: But that's what we need.
- 1:05:29Speaker 15: 800-937-9673, 800-937-9673.
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: Yeah, man, Kevin, we've shared the stories. I call these
- 1:05:31Speaker 4: people heroes of the faith, right? They're persecuted, often a
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: singled out.
- 1:05:34Speaker 10: Targeted monitor because they bear the name of Jesus. They
- 1:05:44Speaker 10: live remotely. They live in extreme poverty. They're under the
- 1:05:49Speaker 10: corruption of governments that fiercely oppose the gospel. But make
- 1:05:53Speaker 10: no mistake what we're asking this listening family to do today.
- 1:05:57Speaker 10: There is a disturbing trend that's happening there. Persecution is
- 1:06:01Speaker 10: on the increase, especially among Christian clergy, this is my
- 1:06:04Speaker 10: colleague Yazan, and he is in the Middle East.
- 1:06:07Speaker 8: I met a pastor.
- 1:06:09Speaker 14: He was kidnapped and threatened to be killed. His freedom
- 1:06:14Speaker 14: was as easy as for him not to confess that
- 1:06:20Speaker 14: he follows Christ.
- 1:06:22Speaker 8: Of course, he.
- 1:06:23Speaker 14: Chose not to, and He was abused as a result.
- 1:06:28Speaker 14: This is what happened through the last six, seven, eight
- 1:06:33Speaker 14: years in the region.
- 1:06:35Speaker 10: Yeah, that's what's happening. Persecution is on the increase. Christians
- 1:06:40Speaker 10: are suffering terribly. You know, we're currently serving in Afghanistan.
- 1:06:43Speaker 10: You know, this tops the list, the World Watch list, right,
- 1:06:46Speaker 10: that identifies, you know, where is persecution greatest in the world?
- 1:06:50Speaker 10: Because of Taliban rule, Christians really have to live out
- 1:06:53Speaker 10: their faith on the down low, Kevin. Sharia law means what?
- 1:06:57Speaker 10: When you convert to Christianity, you're labeled an infidel. That
- 1:07:01Speaker 10: can be punishable by death in a country like Afghanistan.
- 1:07:05Speaker 10: If they merely suspect that you're a Christian, they can
- 1:07:08Speaker 10: throw you in jail. They can beat you. That happened
- 1:07:10Speaker 10: to a man by the name of Yusef, a cobbler
- 1:07:12Speaker 10: in Pakistan who goes back and forth between those countries.
- 1:07:16Speaker 10: When he became a believer after attending a small Bible
- 1:07:20Speaker 10: study in his village, his entire family shunned him, turned
- 1:07:24Speaker 10: him into the authorities.
- 1:07:25Speaker 6: He's been beaten.
- 1:07:26Speaker 10: He's been jailed. But Kevin, more than anything, he's awaiting
- 1:07:29Speaker 10: his very first Bible in the Urdu language. And so
- 1:07:32Speaker 10: That's why we're doing this kingdom business. Again, I know
- 1:07:35Speaker 10: it's tempting to think, what will my $ 5 Bible do
- 1:07:38Speaker 10: in this great big world? But to a man like Yusef,
- 1:07:41Speaker 10: who's been shunned by his family, needing to be reminded
- 1:07:44Speaker 10: that God is there. Listen, that $ 5 Bible, that's a
- 1:07:47Speaker 10: lifeline that will give him the encouragement to persevere. And again, Kevin,
- 1:07:51Speaker 10: that's why we're here doing this kingdom business.
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: 800-937-9673, 1-800-937-9673.

- 1:08:09Speaker 4: actual Bible League recipient. Click on that banner. Punch through
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: a couple of minutes. But friends, we're running out of time.
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: And every Bible you give is going to be matched.
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: Every dollar you give is going to be matched. We

- 1:08:25Speaker 4: to thatkevinshow.com.
- 1:08:50Speaker 8: Here he is from New York, That Kevin, Kevin McCullough.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: Welcome back.
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: It's That Kevin Show. Kevin McCullough, glad to have you
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: with us. Thatkevinshow.com online. And whether you're in Anchorage to Miami,
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: San Diego to Boston, thank you for being there. We
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: appreciate it. 400 cities and growing every single day. Grateful
- 1:09:13Speaker 4: for your participation. Hogan Gidley is back with us. Not
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: only was he part of the first Trump administration, not
- 1:09:21Speaker 4: only was he a seasoned campaign guy for the Trump
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: team in all three of their elections, I go all
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: the way back to this guy when he was working
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: for a fellow by the name of Governor Huckabee. And
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: I love the fact that the long fingers of Mike
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: Huckabee still continue to have great influence in our country.
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: By the way, Hogan, how good of a governor is
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: Sarah and what she's doing for the state of Arkansas?
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: I mean, it's just spectacular what she's doing for those people.
- 1:09:52Speaker 6: No question.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: And I've known her since she was 19. So I've
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: been around for quite some time. And I joke with
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: Sarah all the time. If you're not good at this,
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: having learned at the feet of your father and then
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: working in a White House office with Donald Trump and
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: messaging and communication, then I can't help you.
- 1:10:11Speaker 4: You know what I mean?
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: But she has taken.
- 1:10:14Speaker 6: That mantle moving forward.
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: She's rewritten the script for the state.
- 1:10:19Speaker 6: And I would argue.
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: When that stuff starts to trickle out to the national level,
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: she's going to be talked about and should be talked
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: about as a potential presidential nominee.
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: What she's done on education for the state of Arkansas
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: alone is beyond measure because they were in really bad shape.
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: And she's applied nothing but free market strategies to solving
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: the problem and she's getting results. So it's one of
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: those things. And in terms of her following in her
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: dad's footsteps, I mean, he was the most popular governor
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: in that state's history and maybe one of the longest
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: serving governors in American history. And he was really kind
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: of Donald Trump before Donald Trump was Donald Trump. Like
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: he was that populist guy that said, maybe we're not
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: supposed to be spending all this money on crazy things
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: overseas all the time. And let's bring American production back
- 1:11:06Speaker 4: So it's just it's really fun to see her excel
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: to the degree that she has. Let's talk about some
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: of the other stuff that's going down in 26. You
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: keep your eye very much to the ground. You're to
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: the ground on what's going on. And you've got a
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: lot of weird races. I think some of the major
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: polling races. betting indicators this morning are kind of slightly
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: leaning more left, like in 15 races, I think they
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: either went to toss up or leaned slightly Democrat than
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: they were two or three weeks ago. I can't get
- 1:11:39Speaker 4: a good read on where we're at in terms of
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: the national dialogue. What do you think is impacting 26?
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: And how do you think the American people are responding
- 1:11:48Speaker 4: right now?
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: Well, I think a lot of it has to do,
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: I mean, you always blame the messenger, right? Like, why
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: can't we message things better? I think there's, let me
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: set up one difficult thing we're dealing with and then
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: tell you what I think we can do. It'd be
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: like if Joe Biden for four years took $ 100 out
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: of your pocket and Donald Trump has given you back 80.
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: And the people are like, whoa, but where's my, where's
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: the 20? Where's the 20 extra? Because you cannot fix
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: four years of epic failure in two years of record
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: setting success. So Donald Trump has changed a lot of
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: things and Republicans should be pointing to the differences. Campaigns
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: are about drawing contrasts. Where we were, where we are now,
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: and where we can be with Republican governance. But you
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: have to remind people what we were able to accomplish
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: in this short amount of time. When you have the
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: lowest crime numbers in what, 120 something years? You have
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: the largest drop in prescription drug costs in 60 years.
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: The southern border is closed. We are safer as a nation.
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: The fraud, the waste and abuse that has been exposed
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: at the federal level, hundreds of billions of dollars so
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: that the American citizens can who need and deserve services,
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: can get it to say nothing. Of the largest tax
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: cut in American history, plus no tax on tips, no
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: tax on overtime, no tax on Social Security, the massive
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: cash advantage Republicans have, they ought to be able to
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: tell that story in comprehensive but very pointed television advertising
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: to remind people just what's at stake here.
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: Well, and that's the part that I hope and pray
- 1:13:32Speaker 4: that they're on their game with because... There is no
- 1:13:35Speaker 4: reason why someone who reflects the mindset of the 9-11
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: bombers should be up for Senate in Michigan. And there's
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: no reason why the seat that someone just like him
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: is running for in New Jersey should be an automatic
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: win for them. Like there should be a certain level
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: of what about this that they need to be confronted with.
- 1:13:56Speaker 4: I don't have the greatest confidence, Hogan, to be honest
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: with you, in a lot of our campaign strategies, at
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: least watching them from where I sit. But I'm hopeful
- 1:14:06Speaker 4: that they will get that message out there. What's what
- 1:14:10Speaker 4: needs to happen? Final question. What needs to happen in
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: your mind in Iran before the election versus post the election?
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: The president's saying this week he will resume bombing the
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: day after the election if necessary and as intense as
- 1:14:25Speaker 4: he needs to. Is there anything he can do before
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: the election that you think would benefit the turnout?
- 1:14:31Speaker 6: Well.
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: Again, elections, especially midterms, are about contrasts and about turnout.
- 1:14:36Speaker 6: Can you get.
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: People out to vote for you? And the Iran situation,
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: of course, is very difficult. Foreign policy is so nuanced
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: and difficult. Longstanding arguments for centuries in places, and we're
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: trying to insert ourselves or be part of that communication.
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: Donald Trump did that masterfully in the first term, as
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: you know, rallying people around the common idea that Iran
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: was the largest sponsor of terrorism around the world. that
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: they were a threat. And so that's how we got
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: the Abraham Accords. When everyone said it would fall apart,
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: it didn't. But this conflict, regardless of how you feel
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: about it now, if somehow he can end it, fix it,
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: solve it to some degree before the election, and if
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: the people in this country view it as a win,
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: regardless of how we got here, if they view it
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: as a win, ultimately, is really all that matters from
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: a popularity standpoint. But I'll tell you, if I'm Iran,
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: and I've jacked around with this whole negotiating thing the
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: whole time and I've hemmed and hawed and I have
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: some people inside who really do want to deal, but
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: the IRGC is the one that really controls everything. So
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: they're the ones doing the bombing. If I'm them and
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: I think I can hold out till after the midterm,
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: I got news for you. Once the midterm is over
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: and he doesn't have any political strings to worry about,
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: he's in essence a lame duck for the next two years.
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: What do you think's going to happen to Iran? Like,
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: if I'm Iran, I'm going, hey, I probably should get
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: a deal before the midterms. Because if the polls are
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: right and the Democrats take over, Republicans lose, Donald Trump's
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: going to be.
- 1:16:05Speaker 6: Like, guess what, Iran? You had your chance.
- 1:16:07Speaker 8: You blew it.
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: Now I've got nothing to lose. So here come the missiles.
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: I'd be terrified if I were Iran.
- 1:16:14Speaker 4: That's interesting, and it's also well said. Hogan Gidley, always
- 1:16:17Speaker 4: doing a great job of analysis. Thank you for your
- 1:16:19Speaker 4: insights and for all your daily good work.
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: We appreciate it.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: Thanks, Kevin.
- 1:16:24Speaker 6: You got it.
- 1:16:24Speaker 4: Kevin McCullough coming right back from New York. Don't go away.
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: Stick around for more of That Kevin.
- 1:16:32Speaker 6: Next.
- 1:16:44Speaker 8: Serving it up with a no-drink minnow. It's that Kevin
- 1:16:53Speaker 8: Mac show.
- 1:16:54Speaker 4: Super glad to have you with us. Welcome back. Kevin McCullough,
- 1:16:57Speaker 4: final few minutes. And again, thank you to those of
- 1:16:59Speaker 4: you that helped get Bibles to people. We could not
- 1:17:01Speaker 4: have done it without you. We are so, so, so
- 1:17:04Speaker 4: grateful for the generous outpouring of people who have stepped
- 1:17:07Speaker 4: up and said, I want to help make sure that
- 1:17:09Speaker 4: Bibles get into people's hands. We're going to give you
- 1:17:11Speaker 4: an update. on exactly where we stand on the Wednesday show,
- 1:17:15Speaker 4: which I guess is tomorrow. But if you have not
- 1:17:18Speaker 4: yet given and you would still like to help Bibles
- 1:17:21Speaker 4: get into the hands of Christian believers who don't have
- 1:17:23Speaker 4: them and don't have access to them, but would be
- 1:17:26Speaker 4: deeply grateful for them, 1-800-937-9673, 1-800-937-9673. And you can call
- 1:17:27Speaker 4: right now.
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:17:28Speaker 4: I have to come back to this because in the
- 1:17:30Speaker 4: first hour I was going to, and then I whiffed.
- 1:17:42Speaker 4: New York Magazine yesterday released their men's style issue. Now,
- 1:17:50Speaker 4: I'm putting quotation marks around everything except New York because
- 1:17:54Speaker 4: New York, I think, is the place where it's still printed.
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: So New York's right. But magazine is more operated online
- 1:18:03Speaker 4: than an actual person. But they did shoot a cover shot.
- 1:18:06Speaker 4: So I'm guessing that that magazine then is still worthy
- 1:18:11Speaker 4: of being called a magazine. But they released a new issue,
- 1:18:15Speaker 4: and it was a first for the company, because they
- 1:18:18Speaker 4: decided to feature a biological female, Ellen Page, who has
- 1:18:27Speaker 4: since switched her first name to Elliot, who appeared topless
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: on the cover, but as she has had the girth
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: of her breasts removed, she sort of resembles a guy.
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: Not really.
- 1:18:45Speaker 4: She looks like someone who has had her breasts removed and.
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: whatever that looks like and what she wanted to put
- 1:18:55Speaker 4: on display. But they're trying to convince you that it
- 1:19:00Speaker 4: is a man. And she has a little bit of
- 1:19:02Speaker 4: a bicep in one arm. So they're like, look, she's manly.
- 1:19:06Speaker 4: She has a bicep.
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: New York Times.
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: Magazine says, over the years, we've often returned to the
- 1:19:12Speaker 4: subject of men's style. This is what New York Magazine
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: thinks covering men's style looks like. Listen to this. There
- 1:19:20Speaker 4: was the 1971 cover story wondering if men would get
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: into high heels for fall. Because that's what men do.
- 1:19:27Speaker 4: That's what stylish men do. They wear high heels. In 1996,
- 1:19:33Speaker 4: they ran a profile of male supermodels. They're hot. They're rich.
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: They're openly straight. The magazine wrote, for several seasons starting
- 1:19:40Speaker 4: in 2006, the back half of the women's fashion issue
- 1:19:44Speaker 4: was a mini men's magazine and featured a baby Tom
- 1:19:48Speaker 4: Brown fresh off his first CFDA award win and metrosexuals
- 1:19:56Speaker 4: done up in their aughts finery sipping Peronis at Bungalow 8.
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: So they've never really done like just normal men's fashion.
- 1:20:08Speaker 4: It's always been kind of this thing. And now they
- 1:20:10Speaker 4: have a biological female on the cover and they're calling
- 1:20:14Speaker 4: it a men's style issue. Now, 20 years later, they
- 1:20:18Speaker 4: say when even 15 year olds are hype about Ralph,
- 1:20:22Speaker 4: Armani's got a brand new designer and a pair of
- 1:20:24Speaker 4: worn chrome hearts. Jeans can go for $ 100, 000. Feels like
- 1:20:29Speaker 4: the right moment to devote a special issue to men's style.
- 1:20:31Speaker 4: The power player shaping the business, the new character shaking
- 1:20:35Speaker 4: up the scene, the old semi-supermodels who are still around.
- 1:20:39Speaker 4: We stopped short of announcing another revolution in men's clothes
- 1:20:42Speaker 4: that you may soon find guys sauntering through the city
- 1:20:46Speaker 4: in sarongs.
- 1:20:47Speaker 5: Really?
- 1:20:47Speaker 4: That's men's fashion. The men you know in your life,
- 1:20:51Speaker 4: they're wearing sarongs, and the cover features a bare-chested Elliot
- 1:20:56Speaker 4: page trying to make the whole world believe that she is,
- 1:21:02Speaker 4: in fact, a hee. And even if you look into
- 1:21:07Speaker 4: her eyes of the photo, she just looks unconvinced to me.
- 1:21:12Speaker 4: Completely unconvinced. And it breaks my heart, actually. Kevin McCullough,
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: we'll see you tomorrow.
