- 0:14Speaker 3: bought Amazon. You guys are gonna laugh at me. I'm

- 0:20Speaker 1: Okay. Back in.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Okay, my roommate and I we're in our dorm rooms
- 0:26Speaker 3: and we're like, oh, you know, goofballing, and we did it.
- 0:30Speaker 1: So I'm good right now.
- 0:32Speaker 3: I want to get into the whole bitcoin, but I'm
- 0:35Speaker 3: not as confident as far as what I've done with
- 0:38Speaker 3: the stocks. And you know, I'm sitting here and I
- 0:42Speaker 3: said to myself, all right, I'm going to do it.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Do I do six hundred? Do I do twelve hundred?
- 0:47Speaker 3: Because I feel that's nice and you know, cautious, safe amount.
- 0:53Speaker 3: And I'm looking at the bindance as the way to go,
- 0:55Speaker 3: and I'm just trying to figure out am I perceiving
- 0:58Speaker 3: that correctly?
- 0:59Speaker 1: Or should I just all back?
- 1:00Speaker 4: And before I gotta give you praise? What year did
- 1:03Speaker 4: you buy Amazon?
- 1:04Speaker 1: Ninety nine?
- 1:05Speaker 3: That's why I'm laughing these days, like people have no idea, Wow,
- 1:08Speaker 3: I'm good.
- 1:09Speaker 4: What percentage are you up? And tell them how important?
- 1:13Speaker 4: Long term investment is please.
- 1:14Speaker 3: You just got to chill, Like seriously, it was a
- 1:17Speaker 3: joke for us in college, Like my roommate I Asian
- 1:20Speaker 3: guy moved off campus. Are like, let's try it out
- 1:23Speaker 3: and see what's you know, what's going to happen? We
- 1:25Speaker 3: lose what twenty five dollars and we just wrapped up
- 1:28Speaker 3: because it was like something like nineteen and change, if
- 1:31Speaker 3: I remember correctly, nineteen We just we.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Just wrapped up.
- 1:35Speaker 4: You don't need bitcoin, you got bitcoin gainst from Amazon.
- 1:38Speaker 3: I do, but I just I don't want to you know,
- 1:40Speaker 3: I don't want to sleep. I've got two kids and
- 1:42Speaker 3: I just want to make sure they're could you.
- 1:45Speaker 4: Know binancer is a good option. I probably wouldn't touch
- 1:49Speaker 4: it till it goes to forty six fifty six though
- 1:51Speaker 4: it's too high. Okay, I will wait, but we need
- 1:55Speaker 4: to get you. Can we Jennet get her information. I
- 1:57Speaker 4: need to send you an award plaque for those who
- 2:01Speaker 4: don't know show Builder go Google. I know, yeah, you
- 2:05Speaker 4: are a seasoned veteran, but what are you comfortable saying?
- 2:08Speaker 4: What percentage you're up in Amazon all time?
- 2:13Speaker 1: Let's just have to you know, I'm gonna put myself up.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I'm good. The kids are good. My kids kids are good.
- 2:19Speaker 3: We're good, and I just, you know, I just want
- 2:23Speaker 3: to be knowledgeable because you know, I come from the
- 2:26Speaker 3: family of Nigerian and it's putting money in the bank.
- 2:30Speaker 3: So we weren't taught making money work for you. So
- 2:34Speaker 3: I'm coming out there, you know, making this money work
- 2:37Speaker 3: for me. And when I showed my parents like buying houses,
- 2:42Speaker 3: you know, I'm in Connecticut buying house is two three
- 2:44Speaker 3: hundred thousand cash, no mortgages, and just again lend it
- 2:51Speaker 3: work for itself.
- 2:53Speaker 1: You know.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 2:56Speaker 4: You are literally the message I've been preaching forever that.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Free we don't now, We just we don't know.
- 3:01Speaker 3: And it's unfortunate because as the black people, we don't
- 3:04Speaker 3: know what we don't know, so we are our own
- 3:06Speaker 3: worst enemy in a sense.
- 3:09Speaker 5: Mary, you were saying six hundred, twelve hundred As far
- 3:11Speaker 5: as what is that much coins you want to buy?
- 3:14Speaker 4: What are we talking?
- 3:15Speaker 3: The funny I wanted to put towards it like I'm
- 3:18Speaker 3: I'm definitely you know, I feel like I feel confident
- 3:21Speaker 3: in my stocks, but again with bitcoins, I'm still trying
- 3:24Speaker 3: to learn it. So twelve hundred is it's I don't
- 3:27Speaker 3: want to say trump change.
- 3:28Speaker 6: But two hundred dollars not two hundred coins. I'm like,
- 3:34Speaker 6: wait our valad doorboards seven hundred Bitcoin's like she's not
- 3:37Speaker 6: buy never one hundred.
- 3:39Speaker 4: Said she's good, So like we never know, we never know.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Shout no, you definitely know, bro, Yeah to twelve hundred
- 3:46Speaker 4: is a good investment holder. For three or four years.
- 3:48Speaker 4: We will be related treated the same way as any
- 3:52Speaker 4: top ten company on nastac. It moves the same rate
- 3:57Speaker 4: of speed to volatility is almost equivalent. You'll be good.
- 4:02Speaker 3: So my money guy's talking me out of it, and
- 4:04Speaker 3: he's like, no, you're fine right now, Like, well why not, no, no, no, rebe.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Twelve hundred won't hurt your lifestyle, And that's that's what
- 4:12Speaker 4: I said.
- 4:12Speaker 3: And I'm a very like I'll split a penny four ways,
- 4:16Speaker 3: you know.
- 4:17Speaker 4: Yeah, you're good for sure, Yeah, I al way for
- 4:21Speaker 4: the forty thousand market, you'll be good. But I have
- 4:22Speaker 4: to get you to work. Thank you for apprecing this,
- 4:25Speaker 4: and especially for a woman. Can you tell the women
- 4:28Speaker 4: how important it is and how much better it's made
- 4:31Speaker 4: your life by.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Investment ladies, sisters, I can't even I'm gonna make you,
- 4:35Speaker 3: guys sad for a moment, but I think I really
- 4:37Speaker 3: need to put it out there.
- 4:39Speaker 1: My husband passed.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Away one year ago, battling new gags disease and his passing.
- 4:46Speaker 3: We're okay, and even before that, I was okay as
- 4:50Speaker 3: a female, and I think we are so still stuck
- 4:54Speaker 3: in this momentum of you need a partner, you know,
- 4:57Speaker 3: because money is about men and it's really not that.
- 5:01Speaker 1: You know, you have to be able to stand.
- 5:02Speaker 3: On your own, and there's nothing wrong with standing on
- 5:06Speaker 3: your own and knowing what money is, understanding how it works,
- 5:09Speaker 3: what is it, what is the value of it. You
- 5:11Speaker 3: don't have to wear it, but know it, understand it,
- 5:13Speaker 3: make it work for you.
- 5:17Speaker 2: That's incredible.
- 5:18Speaker 4: I want to meet Mary.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Yeah, we have to.
- 5:20Speaker 4: There's something about Mary. We got to meet her. Oh
- 5:23Speaker 4: my god, Yeah we got We've got to get here
- 5:29Speaker 4: to Houston.
- 5:30Speaker 5: Look of this out. Yes, yes, Yes to you and
- 5:34Speaker 5: the family.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you, Thank you for the info.
- 5:37Speaker 4: Guys.
- 5:38Speaker 1: I'm definitely gonna lean that way.
- 5:39Speaker 4: Thank you, Mary, thank you.
- 5:40Speaker 6: I appreciate it.
- 5:44Speaker 4: Since ninety nine, Like, let's take a moment and let
- 5:47Speaker 4: that breathe. I was looking at the chart, Blake. So
- 5:51Speaker 4: everybody put in chat long term and that's is the way.
- 5:54Speaker 4: There's no trader that has on paper and with real
- 5:58Speaker 4: money that is outperformed. That number of return long term
- 6:04Speaker 4: is a way. Go ahead.
- 6:07Speaker 2: All right, let's go to another lady here, Denise.
- 6:10Speaker 7: So please, oh Denise, No, it's been so long since
- 6:20Speaker 7: it's been a Frisbrank YouTube.
- 6:22Speaker 4: Let's get back to eight thousand. What was going on?
- 6:26Speaker 5: They was talking crazy about you, but I was just saying, She's, well.
- 6:30Speaker 8: Hey, guys, I'm happy to be on here to talk
- 6:32Speaker 8: to you guys tonight. I have a quick question about
- 6:35Speaker 8: I just recently stopped working, So I have a four
- 6:39Speaker 8: oh one K that's like two hundred and fifty thousand,
- 6:42Speaker 8: and I'm a little bit afraid of like what's going
- 6:45Speaker 8: to happen with the market coming with the recession, so
- 6:49Speaker 8: I know I need to switch it over to an IRA.
- 6:52Speaker 8: I also have some stocks, so I'm just kind of
- 6:55Speaker 8: in that mode of not really knowing what to allocate
- 7:01Speaker 8: everything in.
- 7:02Speaker 6: So first, yeah, as far as the question of rolling
- 7:08Speaker 6: over to the IRA, it's definitely always a good I'll
- 7:11Speaker 6: just start off with this is the reason why it's
- 7:13Speaker 6: a good idea to roll over a four one K
- 7:15Speaker 6: into an IRA. Is that when you leave your job,
- 7:18Speaker 6: your full one K is kind of frozen in the
- 7:19Speaker 6: sense is not frozen where it's not growing, it's still
- 7:21Speaker 6: growing whatever however it's invested, but it's frozen. Whereas you
- 7:24Speaker 6: can't add money to it, you're kind of stuck. You're
- 7:27Speaker 6: stuck with the investment options that are provided for you
- 7:30Speaker 6: by the four one K. So full one K usually
- 7:32Speaker 6: has like a menu of like let's say ten or
- 7:35Speaker 6: twelve different investment options that you get to pick and
- 7:38Speaker 6: choose from. Like let's say Fidelity manages the fund, they'll
- 7:41Speaker 6: give you like fifteen different options to choose from. So
- 7:43Speaker 6: you can't just invest in anything you want. You have
- 7:45Speaker 6: to invest in what is given to you in the
- 7:47Speaker 6: four one K. You really can't get investment advice on it,
- 7:50Speaker 6: like legally, if you call a one one hundred number,
- 7:52Speaker 6: they can't actually like give you advice over the phone.
- 7:55Speaker 6: Most of the time people don't have a relationship with
- 7:57Speaker 6: the advisor that have done that did their full when
- 8:00Speaker 6: K when they're no longer with the job. You can't
- 8:03Speaker 6: borrow from it when you're no longer working, So there's
- 8:05Speaker 6: not really a lot of advantages of keeping an old
- 8:09Speaker 6: fall one k at the fall one k. So that's
- 8:12Speaker 6: that's the reason why you roll into an IRA, because
- 8:15Speaker 6: now when you roll into an IRA, you can invest
- 8:17Speaker 6: in anything that you want. You can put money into
- 8:20Speaker 6: the IRA over the course of time. It serves as
- 8:23Speaker 6: a central hub. So if you have a couple of
- 8:25Speaker 6: old fall one k's, it kind of gets hard to manage,
- 8:27Speaker 6: so you can roll it all into one central IRA.
- 8:31Speaker 6: So these are all the benefits of actually doing the IRA,
- 8:34Speaker 6: first and foremost. Second of all, I believe she said
- 8:38Speaker 6: what to invest in?
- 8:39Speaker 2: Right?
- 8:39Speaker 4: Was that a question part of it? What's talk to you?
- 8:42Speaker 6: So with the retirement you know you said you want
- 8:46Speaker 6: you interested in what to invest in the four one k?
- 8:49Speaker 5: Right?
- 8:51Speaker 1: Correct?
- 8:53Speaker 4: Yeah, So with the.
- 8:54Speaker 6: Retirement account, you know, me personally, I like to be
- 8:56Speaker 6: a little bit more conservative.
- 8:58Speaker 5: This episode is brought to you by P and C Bank.

- 11:44Speaker 9: Hiring indeed is all you need.
- 11:47Speaker 6: I wouldn't necessarily take a lot of risk from my
- 11:49Speaker 6: retirement account. So we talk about, you know, a lot
- 11:53Speaker 6: of great ETFs. You know, Ian always talks about v
- 11:56Speaker 6: oo vt i QQQ is one one of my personal
- 12:00Speaker 6: favorite ones. You know, you have the xlks of the
- 12:04Speaker 6: world spy, which is the S and P five hundred.
- 12:08Speaker 6: So you know, I would go more on the index
- 12:11Speaker 6: ETF route. I feel like that'll be something that you
- 12:15Speaker 6: can sleep wealth at night knowing that you're investing in
- 12:18Speaker 6: you know, twenty of the top companies in the world,
- 12:21Speaker 6: and you know, not necessarily putting it in one company
- 12:24Speaker 6: and with the IRA. Also, it's important to keep in
- 12:29Speaker 6: mind that it's also a long term play even when
- 12:31Speaker 6: you're in retirement. Retirement is just the beginning part of it.
- 12:33Speaker 6: So it's like most people. You know, it's crazy because
- 12:37Speaker 6: you talk about Mount Everest, and most people die on
- 12:40Speaker 6: Mount Everest coming down the mountain, not coming up the mountain.
- 12:43Speaker 6: Reason being is that everybody has a plan getting up
- 12:46Speaker 6: the mountain, but nobody ever really.
- 12:47Speaker 4: Considers how they're going to get down the mountain.
- 12:50Speaker 6: So retirement is the same way I look at it
- 12:52Speaker 6: like the day you retire, it's like the top of
- 12:54Speaker 6: the mountain, but that's only half the battle. Now you
- 12:56Speaker 6: actually have to get down. So you know, you could
- 12:58Speaker 6: live another twenty thirty years in retirement. So the money
- 13:02Speaker 6: still has to actually work for you. You just can't have
- 13:04Speaker 6: it in a conservative bond account when you retire because
- 13:08Speaker 6: you know, when you're taking money out, if it's not
- 13:10Speaker 6: growing and you're taking too much money out, what's going
- 13:12Speaker 6: to happen over the court of time is that you're
- 13:14Speaker 6: going to actually run out of money. So that's why
- 13:16Speaker 6: you still want to be invested in the stock market
- 13:19Speaker 6: at all times at some level of exposure. Now you
- 13:21Speaker 6: might you know, peel it back as you get you know, older,
- 13:24Speaker 6: but all of those different funds that we just talked
- 13:27Speaker 6: about b O, O, QQQ, sp Y, they all give
- 13:30Speaker 6: you exposure to the stocks and you know it'll still
- 13:34Speaker 6: have time to grow over the course of time. Even
- 13:36Speaker 6: if it's out of all time high right now, ten
- 13:38Speaker 6: years from now is not, it's going to be higher.
- 13:41Speaker 6: Odds are the stock market is going to be higher
- 13:43Speaker 6: than it is now.
- 13:44Speaker 4: I want to say stop quantitative reason, which is very
- 13:48Speaker 4: well what individual stocks are you in, curly? What stocks
- 13:53Speaker 4: are you in currently?
- 13:58Speaker 2: Oh? I have like twenty nine different stocks.
- 14:05Speaker 8: I don't know if you guys here, Yeah, yeah, Roku was.
- 14:10Speaker 2: One of them. Td OC to the third bank fc
- 14:22Speaker 2: am I breaking up?
- 14:23Speaker 4: No, we're here. So you said you were in Teledoc, Yeah.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Tele Doc, which I know I should have exited, but
- 14:30Speaker 2: I just was.
- 14:30Speaker 8: Afraid because at one point I really had like a
- 14:33Speaker 8: good thing going, and then a lot of my stocks
- 14:36Speaker 8: have just kind of fallen off here lately. I think
- 14:38Speaker 8: I have twenty nine different positions, so I've been trying
- 14:42Speaker 8: to kind of figure out how to balance it without
- 14:44Speaker 8: losing as much or losing what.
- 14:48Speaker 4: Would be a great help if you've got the first
- 14:49Speaker 4: scholarship tonight for Red Panda stock Club.
- 14:53Speaker 2: I'm actually in stock club.
- 14:54Speaker 4: I'm all we got to get that portfolio cleaned up tonight. Okay,
- 15:00Speaker 4: for sure, So send me. Send me your list Ian
- 15:02Speaker 4: at join Redpanda dot com. Send me all twenty nine.
- 15:05Speaker 4: I'll tell you which ones to get rid of. We
- 15:06Speaker 4: gotta get rid of fifth, third, Teledoc and what was
- 15:10Speaker 4: the one you mentioned? Cool? Yeah, we gotta get rid
- 15:17Speaker 4: of all those.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Okay, thanks, okay to thank you, thank you.
- 15:23Speaker 6: Can we just somebody's been spamming YouTube with the same
- 15:26Speaker 6: question every minute? What are your thoughts on waste management?
- 15:30Speaker 6: On waste management?
- 15:31Speaker 4: And then let us block Since you want to spam,
- 15:33Speaker 4: I'm gonna answer your question, but I want you guys
- 15:35Speaker 4: to be kind. Listen, stop doing this. I know they're nice,
- 15:41Speaker 4: I'm not Stop playing with me. Waste Manager is a
- 15:43Speaker 4: great company. I appreciate you being here. Can we block them?
- 15:48Speaker 4: Shout out to Michael Batnek who put out the first
- 15:50Speaker 4: crypto index, but you wanted to tell him he didn't know. Okay,
- 15:56Speaker 4: we gonna see who knows what when this crash happens.
- 15:59Speaker 4: Now were check next year? Everybody was talking options. Come
- 16:03Speaker 4: to the table. We're gonna have a big paperwork party
- 16:05Speaker 4: next year. Listen to a shot twenty two bottles I
- 16:08Speaker 4: got you.
- 16:08Speaker 7: Listen.
- 16:08Speaker 5: Listen when you see him pick up this microphone and
- 16:12Speaker 5: it's not playing, stop playing with him, Stop playing with him.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Next question, No, I'm not higher drunk. I am high
- 16:20Speaker 4: off Jesus and Ally, I love y'all.
- 16:25Speaker 6: How are you off?
- 16:25Speaker 4: Ally?
- 16:26Speaker 8: Oh?
- 16:26Speaker 4: Let's get one more question, Janet, if we can please, all.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Right, Jeremy, I mean.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Hey, how y'all doing, Jeremy, my brother.
- 16:37Speaker 5: Listen, listen, I was there yesterday with you, man. I
- 16:42Speaker 5: heard you you speaking in the club yesterday. Man, powerful, powerful,
- 16:46Speaker 5: powerful were coming to Oakland, by the way, just letting
- 16:48Speaker 5: you know.
- 16:48Speaker 10: I'm on the east Man, I've been on the east.
- 16:50Speaker 5: Coast from Oh that's right, that's right, that's right, came
- 16:52Speaker 5: this way. But dope, dope yesterday Man, listening to your testimonial. Man,
- 16:55Speaker 5: that's powerful.
- 16:56Speaker 11: Thank you for charity, that and another one. I'm just
- 16:59Speaker 11: gonna give hours like I always do. Man, every one
- 17:02Speaker 11: of our every one of our revolutionaries, every one of
- 17:05Speaker 11: our civil rights leaders have been speaking about wealth, and
- 17:07Speaker 11: it has to it's tight in with my question. And
- 17:10Speaker 11: they've been speaking about wealth and they literally looking down
- 17:13Speaker 11: on each one of your spirits and thankful, thank god
- 17:18Speaker 11: y'all came into most of our lives. Man, that's the truth.
- 17:21Speaker 11: But my question really is circling around, like, all right,
- 17:24Speaker 11: what are the next steps after wealth is created? And
- 17:27Speaker 11: you guys alluded to a little bit of it tonight,
- 17:29Speaker 11: like talking to group economics, group politics, Like what is
- 17:35Speaker 11: the next step after wealth's created? How do we start
- 17:39Speaker 11: to focus as a culture on.
- 17:40Speaker 10: Group economics and community building, and then do you have
- 17:44Speaker 10: a vision that helps us build unity that takes us
- 17:48Speaker 10: away from the individualism and the separation that is killing
- 17:50Speaker 10: our community.
- 17:51Speaker 6: I like, somebody just asked me this question, and in Miami,
- 17:55Speaker 6: that's crazy. That's a great question. And I feel like
- 17:58Speaker 6: there's different steps to you know, the process, and the
- 18:03Speaker 6: first step is, you know, taking care of yourself and
- 18:05Speaker 6: taking care of your family and creating strong individuals. And
- 18:10Speaker 6: then when you have enough strong individuals, now you can
- 18:12Speaker 6: create a strong community. Group economics definitely has to be
- 18:15Speaker 6: part of the conversation, not just on like just a
- 18:19Speaker 6: you know, fluff conversation group economics, Like what does that
- 18:22Speaker 6: really mean? Right, Like actually having real group economics where
- 18:26Speaker 6: it's like we can actually have you know, funds, and
- 18:29Speaker 6: we can actually have banks, and we can actually have
- 18:32Speaker 6: institutions and things trade, yeah, publicly traded companies, things that nature.
- 18:36Speaker 6: So group economics definitely has to be part of the situation. Politics.
- 18:42Speaker 6: Politics definitely has to be part of the situation. Understanding
- 18:45Speaker 6: politics becoming more politically mature, not just voting out of emotions.
- 18:52Speaker 6: You know, I feel like a lot of times, like
- 18:54Speaker 6: we do stuff out of emotions. We're very emotional a
- 18:56Speaker 6: lot of times, and it's like, you know, politicians use
- 18:59Speaker 6: that against the so you know, you can't you can't
- 19:02Speaker 6: be emotional in politics because there's no emotions in politics.
- 19:06Speaker 6: So that's something that we really have to come to
- 19:09Speaker 6: the table and then honest the next the next step
- 19:12Speaker 6: after that is a global conversation and really having global
- 19:17Speaker 6: conversations and building you know, global summits and really connecting
- 19:21Speaker 6: the dots. That's why, you know, you see us go
- 19:22Speaker 6: to Jamaica, you see us go to Egypt, you see
- 19:25Speaker 6: us go to Nigeria. You know, you see us talking
- 19:27Speaker 6: to Shine, who's you know, probably going to be the
- 19:30Speaker 6: prime Minister of Belize one day. It's not just we're
- 19:33Speaker 6: not just doing this just for no reason, Like we
- 19:35Speaker 6: personally want to establish relationships, learn educate ourselves because we
- 19:39Speaker 6: understand that, you know, the world is big. It's much
- 19:42Speaker 6: bigger than just the United States of America. So as
- 19:45Speaker 6: a community, you know, we we have to understand that,
- 19:49Speaker 6: get past trivial differences that we have because ultimately we're
- 19:55Speaker 6: stronger together. And if you look at like the G
- 19:58Speaker 6: eight summit or the G twenty summing, you know, every
- 20:01Speaker 6: country doesn't get along. Russia and America don't have to
- 20:04Speaker 6: get along and sit down and have a conversation, and
- 20:06Speaker 6: they still work on stuff because ultimately, you know, what's
- 20:10Speaker 6: good for the goose is good for the gander. So
- 20:14Speaker 6: I think, oh, that's kind of a long answer because
- 20:17Speaker 6: it's it's not just a short solution. But I feel
- 20:19Speaker 6: like that's just a couple of things that come after
- 20:22Speaker 6: building personal wealth
- 20:25Speaker 11: My graduates from my school being false back drop drop,
- 20:31Speaker 11: Mike drop, back drop drop,
