Latest / Brandon Fogal Evolution / #198 - Charlie Kirk Assassinated — Where Does America Go From Here?
Transcript
- 0:00Charlie Kirk passed away yesterday. He was assassinated at the events that he
- 0:06often and normally puts on.
- 0:08He had his tour again that he was going to go around college campuses,
- 0:12and this horrific, tragic event happened. I'm just going to go back through how I received it.
- 0:19I know everybody is processing it, and everybody's processing it differently.
- 0:23When I first heard about it i saw on x i saw a message from nick fuentes and
- 0:29i saw him say pray for charlie kirk and if you know anything about their whole
- 0:34the whole nick fuentes and charlie kirk thing,
- 0:37that i was just like why is he saying this why is nick fuentes posting this
- 0:43and and how to look into it and then found out later that he was shot and like
- 0:48there is different people like i don't know what it is.
- 0:51Sometimes certain people's deaths affect you differently.
- 0:56And Charlie Kirk is someone like I admire and I looked up to so much.
- 1:00I loved everything he stood for. He was a Christian most of all.
- 1:05And seeing, like, I don't know, like, I was pretty much in tears throughout
- 1:10the day yesterday, going to bed last night, even waking up.
- 1:13The very first thought was Charlie this morning.
- 1:16Everybody i mean everybody's going
- 1:19through it differently and now so much stuff
- 1:22is going on that trying to figure out what all happened
- 1:25and now the who they took into custody sounds like he was released maybe did
- 1:31not fit who it actually was so now there's going to be so much more looking
- 1:34into of what actually just happened and i i i don't even know really what to
- 1:40say and i know most people that have talked about this have asked about this.
- 1:44The people that are posting just sick, detestable things, there are bots being
- 1:49just orchestrated to talk about this and put this out there and probably to
- 1:54create war or a sense of civil war and unrest within our country.
- 1:58But then there are just despicable, detestable human beings that are actually
- 2:03doing it as well. And it's disgusting.
- 2:06And seeing what people are posting on TikTok and actual people,
- 2:10videos of themselves or people being asked and cheering this on is just disgusting.
- 2:15I don't care if you are on the side that you would be happy about someone like Charlie Kirk's death.
- 2:23I just, I pray for you. And that's all I could say. And I put this out there
- 2:27yesterday on X that just seeing all the vitriol that people are saying and the
- 2:31evil things that people are saying about him.
- 2:33All I can say is pray for your enemies. And Charlie would have said the exact same thing.
- 2:39Pray for your enemies. And that comes directly from our Lord, who he is with right now.
- 2:44He is with it. So I don't feel sorry for Charlie because he's experiencing bliss
- 2:50and things that we could not even fathom or comprehend at this time.
- 2:54Him being in our Lord's presence and at home with the Lord, it's saddest and
- 3:00it's hardest for his family, his wife, his children.
- 3:04And I know everybody has been affected by this differently.
- 3:08Just thinking about him and just remembering him and who he was and nobody's
- 3:13perfect nobody is perfect and we understand that and even though he got headlines
- 3:18and he got a rise out of people on things I'm challenging them and it was never about like,
- 3:23Every time he was at a college campus, he would put down his mic.
- 3:28He wouldn't say anything.
- 3:29He would let anybody say whatever they wanted and ask him questions and confront
- 3:34him and them get all like views or whatever and try to try to get headlines,
- 3:39try to get clips or whatever.
- 3:41And he didn't care. He say what you want.
- 3:44And he was that he was open for his whole thing was open dialogue,
- 3:49talking things out because ideas and words and what you say matter so much more
- 3:54than bullets and fists and fighting and all and just physical.
- 4:01It's just it's it's it's an extremely sad day to even think about this.
- 4:05And I know everybody's going to come at it different.
- 4:08Everybody's receiving it different. But this is somebody like I not everybody
- 4:11impacts me. And I know not everybody impacts everyone out there like Charlie Kirk has.
- 4:16I don't really necessarily know what to say. There's so much we could talk about
- 4:20about his life and I wouldn't do it justice.
- 4:23What he accomplished in his short 31 years of age is like not even comparable
- 4:29to most people in America,
- 4:31you know, and, but it's a sign of the times what happened to,
- 4:36and I don't, I don't even really want to go down any rabbit trails or rabbit
- 4:39holes right now because there's so much more that's going to be unearthed and
- 4:43come out. And there's so much more coming down the pipe.
- 4:47That I think everybody should be ready for. Like anyone said, I love you, Charlie.
- 4:54We miss you, and we pray for your wife. We pray for your children,
- 5:00your family, and everyone that I'm sure is mourning, and the people that aren't
- 5:04mourning right now, the people that are happy, we pray for you as well.
- 5:08So I had to talk about him, and I know everybody's struggling through this.
- 5:14Everybody's still processing it. It doesn't seem real. It doesn't seem real.
- 5:18And it just goes to show that you don't know what day you're walking into.
- 5:22It doesn't matter if you're the most high-profile figure out there.
- 5:24We will one day stand before the Lord. Everybody will.
- 5:28We will. Everybody will. Everybody hearing this and everybody in this world
- 5:32will stand before the Lord.
- 5:34And I just, to take a moment to reflect, all of my actions matter.
- 5:39Everything that I do matters of eternal weight and significance. It really does.
- 5:45So the biggest thing I would encourage is people that are hurting from this.
- 5:50Don't react harshly and don't let hate fill the void of Charlie's loss,
- 5:59but rather turn the other cheek and pray for your enemies.
- 6:04Love those who there. I love even the most vile, despicable,
- 6:08inhumane things that people do and say about this because it's all about Jesus.
- 6:14And that's what Charlie, he posted and I reposted it.
- 6:17It's all about Jesus. So I don't know. I don't really like to say that we're
- 6:21going to, there's so much more we could, that we will go into.
- 6:24And, but I just had my reaction and just the gut-wrenching nature of what just
- 6:29happened. We experienced.
- 6:30All right, we'll leave it at that. We love you, Charlie.
