VAR Controversy Rocks Forest vs Spurs | Uganda News
Nottingham Forest’s Oliver Glasner blasts VAR after Neco Williams’ goal was disallowed in a 0-0 draw against Tottenham, calling the decision a guess that ignored clear pre-season guidelines. Williams insists he headed the ball, not handled it, and argues VAR should only intervene for obvious errors — a sentiment echoed by Glasner, who believes the system misapplied the rules. The Premier League confirmed the call, citing contact with the arm, but the controversy underscores ongoing tensions over VAR’s consistency and fairness.
