- 0:02Speaker 1: To Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Cameridge Edge.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of Two Teas and
- 0:20Speaker 2: a Pod.
- 0:21Speaker 3: What's up, Teddy, Joe, What's up? What's up?
- 0:25Speaker 4: What's up?
- 0:25Speaker 2: We're going to be recapping episode seventeen of New York
- 0:31Speaker 2: and episode ten of Beverly Hills.
- 0:35Speaker 4: Should we start with New York?
- 0:37Speaker 3: Yes?
- 0:38Speaker 4: Please? Let's let's okay, so you enjoy it.
- 0:43Speaker 2: I mean, I feel like I was taken on a
- 0:45Speaker 2: range of emotions, like five million different things I needed
- 0:49Speaker 2: to kind of go through. But I can tell you
- 0:51Speaker 2: that I left the season feeling differently than I thought
- 0:56Speaker 2: I was going to.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Me too, I know. And I feel really bad for Rebecca.
- 1:02Speaker 3: I feel like she just got annihilated for the ten
- 1:05Speaker 3: minutes she was out there.
- 1:07Speaker 4: I didn't really.
- 1:08Speaker 2: I gotta say, it wasn't that I felt bad for Rebecca.
- 1:11Speaker 2: I didn't really have any feelings whatsoever.
- 1:15Speaker 3: I felt bad. I thought that Aaron was really mean
- 1:16Speaker 3: to her and it was all about the scientology.
- 1:20Speaker 2: And I don't know, I mean, I don't think that
- 1:24Speaker 2: we got enough for her. But she already announced that
- 1:26Speaker 2: she's not coming back. Yeah, I saw that, which is
- 1:30Speaker 2: a quick turnaround on that announcement, but it starts off
- 1:35Speaker 2: where Jenna tells Brenn that she can't believe she'd do
- 1:38Speaker 2: this to Jessela and Povet Brn apologizing saying she's mortified
- 1:44Speaker 2: and thought it was a cute joke. Jessea says, Povet
- 1:47Speaker 2: now questions everything she does. This made me sad because.
- 1:52Speaker 3: It's not a cute joke. That's not a cute joke, Brend.
- 1:55Speaker 3: She was trying to stir the pot, and she's talking
- 1:57Speaker 3: about a married woman that's been married for a decade
- 2:00Speaker 3: and has kids.
- 2:02Speaker 2: And clearly this was a conversation had about sex, not
- 2:05Speaker 2: about love, and either way, it was a conversation had
- 2:10Speaker 2: off camera, and it made me feel like I could
- 2:16Speaker 2: totally imagine feeling weird if I was Povit, like when
- 2:21Speaker 2: Jessel said, I mean, sometimes Jessel really beats around the
- 2:24Speaker 2: bush with what she's talking about, but when she goes
- 2:27Speaker 2: you know, I've always had a husband who's been very
- 2:30Speaker 2: cool and easy going with my trips and my travel
- 2:32Speaker 2: and my life and whatever it is that I want
- 2:34Speaker 2: to do, and been very supportive, and now for the
- 2:36Speaker 2: first time, because of something Brent said he's questioning me.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Yeah, he's douting her. I think the girls would be
- 2:42Speaker 3: more responsive to Bran if she just own that she
- 2:45Speaker 3: likes to embellish and cause drama.
- 2:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I mean, there's no way she thought that was a
- 2:52Speaker 2: cute joke. No, she's a smart gal.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Yes, she knew what she was doing. She did it
- 2:56Speaker 3: all season long.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Then Andy brings up Bread giving Uba the advice to
- 3:02Speaker 2: not be an angry black woman. This isn't quotes, and
- 3:08Speaker 2: Brent says Uba said they would not give her fair
- 3:11Speaker 2: treatment like Aaron did because she's white.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Aaron says Uba never said that.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Brenn says she identifies as a black woman and hasn't
- 3:19Speaker 2: had the same experience as Uba. Uba says she's had
- 3:22Speaker 2: an excellent experience as a black woman. I feel like
- 3:26Speaker 2: what they're not saying is that by the way Brn
- 3:29Speaker 2: presented this to the audience, it felt like she wasn't
- 3:33Speaker 2: protecting Uba, but rather trying to manipulate the audience perception
- 3:38Speaker 2: of Uba.
- 3:39Speaker 3: But also, did she mean production or the ladies would
- 3:42Speaker 3: not give her a fair treatment.
- 3:45Speaker 4: I think that she meant the audience or that too.
- 3:49Speaker 2: I think she meant the audience, But I could be wrong,
- 3:52Speaker 2: but I don't think, and she was trying to have
- 3:55Speaker 2: UBA's back in this.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Well.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Uba was very sweet. I kind of wish that would
- 4:00Speaker 3: have held her Brin more accountable, Like I feel like
- 4:03Speaker 3: she just like accepted her apology and moved on. Would
- 4:07Speaker 3: just go to accept an apology, but it was just
- 4:08Speaker 3: very brushed over.
- 4:10Speaker 4: I also feel like Uba likes Bryn more than she
- 4:13Speaker 4: likes Aarin.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Uba likes bren It sounds it seemed like it.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Like every time Aaron would even open her mouth, like
- 4:23Speaker 4: she was on Aaron?
- 4:25Speaker 3: Who was on Aaron? Uba?
- 4:27Speaker 2: Uba Like there's something that I'm missing in between that
- 4:32Speaker 2: relationship that I don't fully understand. Because one they're sitting
- 4:36Speaker 2: next to each other on the couch.
- 4:37Speaker 3: At this point, I don't even know who's good friends
- 4:39Speaker 3: and who's not. Now well, I can tell you none
- 4:42Speaker 3: of them are good friends.
- 4:43Speaker 2: But then they take a break and the women agree
- 4:46Speaker 2: that Brenn is talking in circles. Brenn gets emotional, telling
- 4:50Speaker 2: Jenna everyone hates her. Si says Bren's waterworks are like
- 4:55Speaker 2: clockwork and she needs an oscar.
- 4:59Speaker 4: Did you find Brend's tears believable?
- 5:05Speaker 3: I think there was more to her tears. I think
- 5:07Speaker 3: that she was anticipating everybody coming after her, so she
- 5:11Speaker 3: was getting emotional. So people would think, like, oh, don't
- 5:14Speaker 3: come for me because I'm so sad, But Jenna lied
- 5:17Speaker 3: to her. Everyone there thinks Brent has bad intentions. Everyone
- 5:22Speaker 3: there does, and Jenna's like, no, that's not Yeah, they
- 5:25Speaker 3: do well.
- 5:27Speaker 4: I think that, you know, Brend's tears are genuine.
- 5:30Speaker 2: I just don't think she's crying because she's misdirected. Yeah,
- 5:34Speaker 2: I think she's crying because she can't manipulate herself out
- 5:37Speaker 2: of a show.
- 5:38Speaker 3: It's very hard to go into a reunion where you
- 5:41Speaker 3: know that you screwed up all season. I mean, what
- 5:44Speaker 3: Brenn did was over the top, and to know that
- 5:47Speaker 3: you have to face you know, your.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Co workers, but also you don't if you don't have
- 5:52Speaker 2: a friend. Like, have you gone into a reunion where
- 5:56Speaker 2: you don't have a friend.
- 5:58Speaker 3: I went to a reunion that I was like hours
- 6:00Speaker 3: late because I was refusing to go. That's that one
- 6:03Speaker 3: where I scream that's my opinion, Well.
- 6:06Speaker 2: I can't wait to get to that one because I
- 6:07Speaker 2: haven't seen it. But not having a friend and.
- 6:11Speaker 4: Also like having the brutality of what we're seeing is hard.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Then we get Rebecca joins the women. Rebecca sarcastically says
- 6:23Speaker 2: it was fun to hear brand make fun of her
- 6:25Speaker 2: brand and the Nordstrom rat comment, even though her brand
- 6:29Speaker 2: has been around for twenty something years. Brin says, Rebecca
- 6:32Speaker 2: said she only wanted to promote her brand on the show,
- 6:35Speaker 2: and she's wasting everyone's time.
- 6:38Speaker 3: I think a lot of people want to come on
- 6:40Speaker 3: and promote their brands. I mean, let's face it, this
- 6:44Speaker 3: is a huge platform. But if that's the only reason
- 6:46Speaker 3: you're coming on, it's probably not going to happen.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Well, I don't know what Rebecca was planning on showing,
- 6:54Speaker 2: but she didn't really open up about her life. I
- 6:58Speaker 2: get that she's a friend of but we didn't really
- 7:01Speaker 2: We loved her on the pod. She was great on
- 7:03Speaker 2: the pod. She was open, she was funny. She's funny
- 7:06Speaker 2: on text message. And what we're seeing on the show
- 7:09Speaker 2: and that ten little minute blip on the reunion.
- 7:13Speaker 4: We saw none of that personality.
- 7:15Speaker 2: And I don't know, and maybe I'm just guessing, is
- 7:19Speaker 2: that because of her relationship to Scientology.
- 7:23Speaker 3: No, I get. I think she's just a little bit
- 7:27Speaker 3: self produced and you know, reality TV is not for everyone.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Not everybody feels comfortable opening up to the cameras. But
- 7:33Speaker 3: on a one on one situation when she was on
- 7:35Speaker 3: the pod, she was way more open than she was
- 7:38Speaker 3: ever on the show, and she could take a joke. Yeah,
- 7:41Speaker 3: and she's funny. I really like her. The person we
- 7:44Speaker 3: see on TV is not the person that we had
- 7:46Speaker 3: on the pod, and I think it's just one of
- 7:48Speaker 3: those things where she just doesn't feel comfortable. But I
- 7:51Speaker 3: did think Brenn wanted the heat off of her, so
- 7:54Speaker 3: that's why she was going so hard after Rebecca.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Well. Then, Aaron says, Rebecca called her to complain about
- 7:59Speaker 2: her tone when asking how she can be Jewish and
- 8:02Speaker 2: a scientologist, even though she had this part confused me,
- 8:07Speaker 2: even though she had prepped her on how to ask
- 8:10Speaker 2: about it.
- 8:11Speaker 3: She did in the helicopter. She's like, if somebody ask you,
- 8:15Speaker 3: just say, you know, I don't have no comment, or
- 8:18Speaker 3: something like that. Remember that scene.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Yeah, But I feel like there was an additional prepping
- 8:22Speaker 2: that we didn't say.
- 8:23Speaker 4: So because the long time had passed in between that.
- 8:27Speaker 2: But then Aaron says, Rebecca never checked in on her
- 8:31Speaker 2: about her dad.
- 8:31Speaker 4: Rebecca says she sent.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Aaron a poem after her dad died, and then Rebecca
- 8:36Speaker 2: says she was not reluctant to talk about scientology on
- 8:40Speaker 2: camera and that the subject just has been disrespected. Rebecca
- 8:46Speaker 2: says the word cult is hate speech, and Andy would
- 8:50Speaker 2: not be asking these questions about other religions.
- 8:56Speaker 3: How about when Brentsi's Rebecca doesn't even live in New York.
- 8:59Speaker 3: She's got she's got two houses, one in Florida, which
- 9:02Speaker 3: is very common for people in New York, one in Florida,
- 9:04Speaker 3: one in New York. Just because she has two houses
- 9:06Speaker 3: and she's a successful person, doesn't mean she doesn't live
- 9:09Speaker 3: in New York.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Well, I've watched Tiktoks longer than Rebecca was on this reunion.
- 9:15Speaker 2: We've spent more time talking about Rebecca at the reunion
- 9:18Speaker 2: than she was on it.
- 9:19Speaker 3: I know. But Rebecca's like, oh that was quick and dirty,
- 9:22Speaker 3: peace out.
- 9:24Speaker 2: That's the Rebecca we know. That's the Rebecca we know.
- 9:27Speaker 2: But then the women discuss their trip to Puerto Rico.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Uba says she wasn't calling the ocean disgusting, it was
- 9:34Speaker 2: the small stream of water leading up to the ocean.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Saia says that as a Puerto Rican. She doesn't want
- 9:41Speaker 2: people to be discouraged to go. Uba apologizes that this
- 9:45Speaker 2: line didn't really make sense to me. Uba apologizes that
- 9:48Speaker 2: her authenticity makes the women uncomfortable. Uba says to continue
- 9:53Speaker 2: to be afraid. Andy tells Uba that her friends feel
- 9:57Speaker 2: like they need to censor themselves around her, and Uber
- 10:00Speaker 2: says they should. But then Andy's like, hold on, that's
- 10:02Speaker 2: not a good thing.
- 10:04Speaker 3: That's not a good thing, and she kind of went
- 10:07Speaker 3: back and forth, says things for shock value. And when
- 10:10Speaker 3: Uba is mad, she's a little bit like me, which
- 10:13Speaker 3: I'm trying to work on, and just is an explosive
- 10:16Speaker 3: and speaks her truth. But the times that.
- 10:19Speaker 4: Eva don't like that.
- 10:21Speaker 2: But when you're explosive, and I'm not coming at you,
- 10:24Speaker 2: I'm just saying, but when you're explosive, you tend to
- 10:28Speaker 2: poke at what somebody is actually going through, right, I
- 10:32Speaker 2: think people, I.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Mean, you're talking about last year, but.
- 10:36Speaker 2: You're not just willy nilly throwing something out. You have
- 10:39Speaker 2: a self awareness that what you're going to say. So
- 10:42Speaker 2: Uba acting as if she has zero self awareness is
- 10:47Speaker 2: hard for me.
- 10:47Speaker 3: To but having zero self awareness is not a good
- 10:50Speaker 3: trait to have, for sure. I wish Uba would have
- 10:53Speaker 3: just apologized. They could move on. I'm tired of hearing
- 10:57Speaker 3: about the dirty beaches and the pigeons.
- 10:59Speaker 4: I'm tired. I'm tired of the dirty beaches and the pigeons.
- 11:03Speaker 4: Then Andy asked Aarin if watching back, she thinks she
- 11:07Speaker 4: was involved in the shit talking. Aaron apologizes and says
- 11:11Speaker 4: that she stood up for Jessa when it became too much.
- 11:14Speaker 4: Uba tells Aarin she does not get a sticker for that.
- 11:18Speaker 4: That was kind of funny.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Aaron does have a slight issue with just taking accountability
- 11:23Speaker 2: for things, and I do think that's where the gaslighting
- 11:27Speaker 2: conversation came in.
- 11:29Speaker 3: But they just sh talk, Aaron, everybody shit talks on
- 11:33Speaker 3: that show. Welcome to the Housewives.
- 11:36Speaker 4: Yeah, we shit talk and move on. Let's go.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Then Andy asked Uba why she was insinuating that Brent
- 11:44Speaker 2: slept with someone to get this job, knowing what had
- 11:48Speaker 2: happened on the Jeff Lewis Show. Uba says she was
- 11:51Speaker 2: mad and regrets saying it, but she said she also
- 11:54Speaker 2: didn't realize that happened on the Jeff Lewis show. I mean,
- 11:58Speaker 2: whether we wanted to realize that happen on the Jeff
- 12:00Speaker 2: Lewis show, we realized, and Uba is clearly on social media.
- 12:05Speaker 4: I mean she's in your DM, so I don't think
- 12:07Speaker 4: she's got her head like.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Well, it's all a matter of well now, at this point,
- 12:13Speaker 3: obviously she knows about the Jeff Lewis saying, because wasn't
- 12:16Speaker 3: it on the show? Yes, but back during they were filming,
- 12:21Speaker 3: maybe she had not heard about it. I don't know
- 12:23Speaker 3: what the timeline is according to were they done filming
- 12:26Speaker 3: when Jeff did that?
- 12:27Speaker 2: Like, I don't know whether they were done. They were
- 12:30Speaker 2: not done filming when Jeff did that. But also, I
- 12:33Speaker 2: mean they were all talking about it multiple times and
- 12:36Speaker 2: it was all over social media. It'd be like us
- 12:39Speaker 2: saying we didn't realize that Gretchen was coming back to OC, Like, oh, I.
- 12:44Speaker 4: Didn't know, right, gotchachitch all over the internet? Right, right?
- 12:49Speaker 2: Unless she does not go on the internet, which she's
- 12:52Speaker 2: made it very clear she does, she probably knew what
- 12:55Speaker 2: Jeff Lewis said.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Not going to disagree with that.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Then, Brenn says, a week before Bravo Khan, she called
- 13:02Speaker 2: Uba and word vomited everything bad that had happened to her.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Brenn says that she said in UBA's defense, she possibly
- 13:10Speaker 2: didn't remember her talking about the rape. Si and Aaron
- 13:13Speaker 2: say Brenn never said that. Jenna says, Brent said Uba
- 13:17Speaker 2: might not have clocked it, which felt careless. Andy says
- 13:21Speaker 2: the women were upset with Uba on Brend's behalf. Didn't
- 13:25Speaker 2: I'm a little bit I might need more information. Didn't
- 13:28Speaker 2: Brnn originally say she called Uba because her family member
- 13:31Speaker 2: committed suicide.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Yes, that's where I got confused too, So yeah, she
- 13:34Speaker 3: said her family member committed suicide and she was having like,
- 13:38Speaker 3: I don't know, maybe she didn't want to go to
- 13:39Speaker 3: Bravacan because of this. And now this story changed to
- 13:43Speaker 3: a family member bought a gun.
- 13:46Speaker 2: And may have committed She didn't know if they committed suicide,
- 13:50Speaker 2: which also is traumatizing.
- 13:52Speaker 3: Yes, of course, But here's the thing. UBA's story in
- 13:55Speaker 3: this situation has stayed the same, while Brend's has changed
- 13:57Speaker 3: so many times.
- 14:00Speaker 4: But do I think that there is a chance that
- 14:04Speaker 4: Brenn was hysterically crying to Uba and word vomited a
- 14:08Speaker 4: million things and Uba didn't hear every part of it.
- 14:12Speaker 3: I think that that is such you know something, that
- 14:16Speaker 3: those words are something you would not forget in my opinion, right,
- 14:20Speaker 3: if you told me that happened to you, I'd be like,
- 14:24Speaker 3: oh my god, Like, but why was she telling her
- 14:27Speaker 3: that at that moment? Had it just happened? Like why
- 14:32Speaker 3: was she word vomiting because of her past? Well, what it.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Seemed like is like she was very emotional. And I'm
- 14:39Speaker 2: not making I'm neither here nor there on this either way.
- 14:43Speaker 2: I think it's a traumatizing event. And I do not
- 14:46Speaker 2: think that Uba intentionally didn't hear what. I don't know,
- 14:50Speaker 2: but I do know that I've had conversations where people
- 14:52Speaker 2: are hysterical and I can't understand a word they're saying,
- 14:57Speaker 2: and I'm just like, I'm for you, love.
- 15:00Speaker 4: You, what do you need?
- 15:02Speaker 2: Yeah, but could I probably remember every part of a
- 15:06Speaker 2: conversation if the person is hysterical. I think I want
- 15:12Speaker 2: to believe that Brenn isn't, like, wouldn't weaponize a situation
- 15:19Speaker 2: like that. Do I think that bren went too far
- 15:22Speaker 2: when they were on the trip and said the things
- 15:24Speaker 2: that she said, Absolutely, and then acted like nothing happened
- 15:28Speaker 2: the next day.
- 15:29Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 15:31Speaker 2: But I started doing a little bit of research on
- 15:34Speaker 2: people that have gone through like traumatic events like this,
- 15:37Speaker 2: and that is like a huge.
- 15:40Speaker 4: Defense mechanism, and.
- 15:44Speaker 3: I I was very sweet about it, and she she
- 15:46Speaker 3: forgave her Like there was really not too many questions asked.
- 15:50Speaker 3: I thought this was going to be the biggest fight
- 15:52Speaker 3: at the reunion, and it was.
- 15:54Speaker 2: It was a little glazed over, yeah, I think because ultimately,
- 16:01Speaker 2: I think bren and Uba do have a lot of
- 16:03Speaker 2: love for each other. And I think that when we
- 16:06Speaker 2: really look at the show, they were both the most
- 16:12Speaker 2: activated on the show this season. I mean what else,
- 16:16Speaker 2: I mean Cy and Jessel and Jenna and Raquel, Like
- 16:19Speaker 2: we didn't really get much from them, and I could
- 16:23Speaker 2: imagine a place where I mean, those girls were Granted
- 16:28Speaker 2: Uba doesn't drink, but those girls were drinking all day long.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I would imagine Brenn was pretty sauce by then. She
- 16:36Speaker 2: looked pretty saut and you know, she took things too far,
- 16:41Speaker 2: in my opinion, she took things too far, and then shit.
- 16:46Speaker 3: What do I do?
- 16:47Speaker 4: What do I do? Well?
- 16:50Speaker 3: And it you know it, at the end of the day,
- 16:52Speaker 3: at the end of the reunion, it looks like everybody
- 16:56Speaker 3: will come back except for Rebecca. But she was a friend.
- 17:01Speaker 3: It really was set up like that. Well, also what.
- 17:05Speaker 2: About Cy like giving, like so proud of Jenna for
- 17:10Speaker 2: really bringing it this reunion. But I also I've never
- 17:15Speaker 2: heard of a dry reunion set.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I wonder why.
- 17:21Speaker 4: I mean, maybe because of what happened.
- 17:23Speaker 3: They don't like us to drink until the very end.
- 17:27Speaker 3: They'll give us like on a break, they'll give us
- 17:29Speaker 3: like a glass of wine or something like that. But
- 17:31Speaker 3: this time they brought out a cake.
- 17:33Speaker 4: They brought out a cake. We never drank at the
- 17:36Speaker 4: beginning of a reunion.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Ever, it's a lot like after lunch break, like we
- 17:41Speaker 2: would have the option to have a glass of champagne
- 17:43Speaker 2: if we wanted. So the fact that it was a
- 17:45Speaker 2: dry set leads me to.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Maybe because of you know, what went down and how
- 17:52Speaker 3: deep it was, that they were worried that it was
- 17:54Speaker 3: going to get two dirty if girls were sauced on set.
- 17:57Speaker 3: So they're like, come on, guys, this is you have
- 18:00Speaker 3: to be serious about this. But you know, Cy, she
- 18:03Speaker 3: wasn't very happy that Uva was so forgiving.
- 18:07Speaker 4: To Brent, but then she was forgiving to her at
- 18:10Speaker 4: the end.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Then Cy went up, she said, she goes u was
- 18:13Speaker 3: very kind to forgive and hugger. Considering the allegations against her,
- 18:17Speaker 3: like she really wanted it to, you know, stick right.
- 18:20Speaker 4: But then at the end she went up to Brent
- 18:22Speaker 4: and gave her a hug and said, come over and
- 18:25Speaker 4: see the kids. My just defeated.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Everybody else was like, oh, poor poor Bren. Yeah, I
- 18:32Speaker 3: mean I think she just kind of did that.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, it's do I think Brent up in
- 18:41Speaker 2: so many ways obviously.
- 18:45Speaker 3: But it looks like, you know, everything's good and they're
- 18:49Speaker 3: going to move forward. So I know that there's casting
- 18:52Speaker 3: going on for New York and you'll be curious to
- 18:55Speaker 3: see what they do with that show.
- 18:57Speaker 4: Yeah, I wish we got to see this side of
- 19:02Speaker 4: Uba more.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Because I mean she realized still trying to help Brent,
- 19:09Speaker 2: and like there's such a soft, like motherly, kind loving
- 19:14Speaker 2: side of her that we oftentimes don't see because you know,
- 19:19Speaker 2: Aaron made a good point. She will make assumptions about
- 19:21Speaker 2: something and get heated before she even knows what the
- 19:24Speaker 2: outcome is going to be.
- 19:25Speaker 3: You know what, I think. I think this is only
- 19:27Speaker 3: their second season. None of them have been on TV before,
- 19:32Speaker 3: so they're trying to navigate through the reality world and
- 19:36Speaker 3: you know, say came back a totally different person this season,
- 19:40Speaker 3: very calm, and I think that Uba saw that, you know,
- 19:43Speaker 3: the screaming and yelling and saying the things she said
- 19:47Speaker 3: throughout the season probably didn't work and she probably got
- 19:50Speaker 3: a lot of hate for it, and she's like, you
- 19:52Speaker 3: know what, I'm going to stop doing that. And there's
- 19:54Speaker 3: always say there's two different types of housewives. There's ones
- 19:56Speaker 3: that see themselves and just go, eh, whatever, that's me,
- 20:00Speaker 3: or they're like, eh, I need to work on it.
- 20:02Speaker 4: Right. But the final thoughts are Ci apologizes for talking
- 20:07Speaker 4: poorly about Aaron, says. Sia says, Aaron has been there
- 20:12Speaker 4: for her the past year and she's a good friend.
- 20:14Speaker 4: Uba agrees.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Uh. Then Jenna tells Brenn that they love her and
- 20:18Speaker 2: they care about her, and Brand apologizes to all the women,
- 20:22Speaker 2: and then the women all share a pavlova.
- 20:25Speaker 3: What the hell? Oh that's the cake.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Yeah, but I got confused about the roach part.
- 20:33Speaker 3: I missed it because somebody put a roach in the
- 20:37Speaker 3: cake prior to Scia member that was it was one
- 20:41Speaker 3: of the stupid pranks, one of those stupid pranks in
- 20:44Speaker 3: the Hamptons. Uh, all right, well, let's take a quick break,
- 20:48Speaker 3: and then I think they're all going to be back.
- 20:50Speaker 4: I do think they're all going to be back.
- 20:52Speaker 2: But let's take a quick break and then we'll go
- 20:54Speaker 2: to Beverly Hills. Hi, guys, we are back to talk
- 21:10Speaker 2: all things Beverly Hills. Episode ten. It starts with a flashback,
- 21:14Speaker 2: which always confuses me, Like I'm not smart enough to
- 21:17Speaker 2: realize it's a flashback.
- 21:19Speaker 3: So well, I'm like, wait, is this the right episode?
- 21:21Speaker 3: Did I start the middle? I mean they were trying
- 21:23Speaker 3: to do some serious Salt Lake City editing and that intro.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I was like, what, Like I seriously two times,
- 21:29Speaker 2: Like I even was about to text Kindle one of
- 21:32Speaker 2: our producers, like I think my episode starting in the
- 21:35Speaker 2: wrong part, and like I'm pressing it back. But it's
- 21:38Speaker 2: a flashback to twenty sixteen. PK and Durite profess their
- 21:43Speaker 2: love for each other. Flash forward to now. Durite says
- 21:46Speaker 2: PK does not want to be married to her. Durite
- 21:49Speaker 2: says she will go to war if she has to. Then,
- 21:54Speaker 2: so this is like the dramatic entrance. And then one
- 21:57Speaker 2: week earlier, Sutton and Vite, scar Cell and Kyle to
- 22:03Speaker 2: Augusta to meet her mother riba mistake.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Oh, my goodness, she's the new villain.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Riba and Sutton are the same human being.
- 22:14Speaker 3: They are they want. I don't know if Sutton is
- 22:17Speaker 3: as bad yet, but you can definitely it gives a
- 22:20Speaker 3: lot of clarity as bad yet yet, because you know,
- 22:23Speaker 3: you get worse as you get older. I think that
- 22:26Speaker 3: it brought a lot of clarity to why Sutton acts
- 22:29Speaker 3: the way she does and how she responds to people
- 22:32Speaker 3: the way she does because of her mom. Her mom
- 22:35Speaker 3: is her Well, it's it's that things are veiled in
- 22:40Speaker 3: a joke, but they're not funny, not in her mom's mind.
- 22:44Speaker 3: She's just like blatant, like.
- 22:47Speaker 4: No, what I should I mean?
- 22:48Speaker 2: But Sutton is still trying to pull off her comments
- 22:53Speaker 2: as shade or as being funny, but they kind of weren't.
- 22:57Speaker 3: But I mean, even Sutton is afraid of her mother,
- 23:03Speaker 3: like she knows, and she was worried going into it,
- 23:05Speaker 3: like what was possibly going to come out of Reba's mouth.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Well, Sutton says she was resentful of her mother's praise
- 23:13Speaker 2: for Christian. Sutton also kind of talks about how her
- 23:20Speaker 2: mom never gives her her love and kindness and regards
- 23:26Speaker 2: to her store or any of those things, and.
- 23:30Speaker 4: It appears to me like.
- 23:34Speaker 2: She wants to impress her mother. But because Christian is
- 23:42Speaker 2: the one that funds the mother, that's not going to change.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Well, I think Christian funds Sutton and Suttin funds the mother.
- 23:51Speaker 3: So I think that, you know, Sutton bro broke it
- 23:55Speaker 3: down later on in the episode, that that's why it
- 23:59Speaker 3: was about the money.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Yeah, well what about how Sutton must be like, Okay,
- 24:04Speaker 2: you guys have lost your mother, so come and meet
- 24:06Speaker 2: mine so you can see why you're better off.
- 24:09Speaker 3: That's a good way of looking at it. I'm actually
- 24:11Speaker 3: shocked that Erica wasn't invited. I don't know that Erica
- 24:18Speaker 3: would have gone to meet Sutton's mom. But all I
- 24:21Speaker 3: did think while I was watching this time in Augusta
- 24:24Speaker 3: was I remember my last year on Housewives, they were like,
- 24:27Speaker 3: do you want to go to South Carolina with a
- 24:31Speaker 3: couple of the gals to like meet your mom and
- 24:34Speaker 3: your sister, and like, thankfully the timing didn't work out,
- 24:38Speaker 3: because like I was watching it and I was like this,
- 24:40Speaker 3: this isn't working for me, This is giving me anxiety. Yeah.
- 24:44Speaker 3: I love when they did it on Orange County last year,
- 24:47Speaker 3: where I took the girls a big Bear and then
- 24:49Speaker 3: Genia took the girls to Palm Desert. I like, when
- 24:52Speaker 3: they do that, would they do two separate you know,
- 24:54Speaker 3: little trips. So they had Kathy Hilton's dinner party versus
- 24:59Speaker 3: a g stuff.
- 25:02Speaker 2: But before that we get to Bow's goes to Dret's house.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Durk texted p K and he never responded. The last
- 25:10Speaker 2: she heard from p K was when he stormed out
- 25:12Speaker 2: of therapy demanding a divorce. Bo's tells to be prepared
- 25:16Speaker 2: if he serves papers. This scene is kind of a feller.
- 25:22Speaker 3: Every every scene with Duri and Bo's they talk about
- 25:26Speaker 3: what Duried is going through, nothing about Bow's. It's always like,
- 25:31Speaker 3: you know, Kyle's not warm to me, Like.
- 25:35Speaker 4: Well, that's later on.
- 25:36Speaker 2: But before we even get to that, we have Bo's
- 25:39Speaker 2: and her boyfriend Kihly, who both listen.
- 25:45Speaker 3: TJ.
- 25:46Speaker 2: I can say that I am the Queen of red Flags,
- 25:51Speaker 2: like if you were to go to my Queen red Flags,
- 25:56Speaker 2: like I am a I am a walking red flag
- 25:58Speaker 2: at this moment, you know what so well, I mean,
- 26:04Speaker 2: I'm just saying I don't I mean the past that
- 26:07Speaker 2: they have not.
- 26:07Speaker 3: Even said I love you to each other, but they're
- 26:10Speaker 3: talking about having kids. To me, that's really kind of odd.
- 26:16Speaker 3: I mean, it's not.
- 26:17Speaker 4: Saying that I love you and you're not.
- 26:19Speaker 3: How do you just jump from I love you to uh,
- 26:22Speaker 3: are you ready to have kids?
- 26:24Speaker 4: Well? How do you skip over I love you? Are
- 26:27Speaker 4: you ready to have kids?
- 26:28Speaker 3: Right?
- 26:29Speaker 2: I do think it's one thing if you when you
- 26:32Speaker 2: first start dating somebody, Like if I were to start
- 26:35Speaker 2: dating someone tomorrow and it's not serious at all, and
- 26:39Speaker 2: they were to ask me the question would you have
- 26:41Speaker 2: more kids, and they were younger or whatever it was,
- 26:45Speaker 2: that I could probably understand asking me yes.
- 26:47Speaker 3: My Actually, my son Ryan, him and his girlfriend just
- 26:50Speaker 3: broke up after a year because she wanted kids and
- 26:52Speaker 3: he doesn't want anymore.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Yeah, So I understand that conversation at the beginning of
- 26:57Speaker 2: like dating somebody once you've already had kids, once you're
- 27:00Speaker 2: getting more mature, in a.
- 27:02Speaker 3: Very normal conversation to have with somebody, like with me
- 27:06Speaker 3: and Eddie, Like, he's five years younger than me. So
- 27:09Speaker 3: when we got together, I was already forty two or
- 27:12Speaker 3: something like that, and we had the discussion do you
- 27:15Speaker 3: want to have kids? But we were already saying I
- 27:18Speaker 3: love you and things like that, and knew that we
- 27:20Speaker 3: wanted to spend the rest of our life together.
- 27:23Speaker 4: So yeah, I think you either can do it.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Before any of that happens, it's like an initial conversation,
- 27:28Speaker 2: like this is a deal breaker for me if we're
- 27:30Speaker 2: going to go out on a second date or.
- 27:34Speaker 4: You have it once. You're saying I love you and
- 27:36Speaker 4: you're wanting to be the great?
- 27:37Speaker 3: Did he actually answer the question does he want to
- 27:40Speaker 3: have kids?
- 27:41Speaker 4: He didn't answer any questions.
- 27:43Speaker 2: All he said was like, we're on the same page,
- 27:46Speaker 2: and I'm like, you don't actually, well, just like don't.
- 27:48Speaker 4: Guys say well?
- 27:49Speaker 3: Even when he said like I thank God every day,
- 27:52Speaker 3: she's like you do, he goes. Even if I don't
- 27:53Speaker 3: I say it, I'm like, oh, why'd you say that?
- 27:56Speaker 4: I don't really get it. Also, I haven't, but I'm
- 28:00Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 28:01Speaker 2: I don't really see that romantic connection between the two
- 28:04Speaker 2: of them.
- 28:05Speaker 3: No, it feels like a job interviewer to me, are
- 28:08Speaker 3: they still together? Do you know?
- 28:10Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't know.
- 28:13Speaker 3: I don't follow about you do everything Beverly Hills girl. No,
- 28:17Speaker 3: I thought you had an inside scoop who.
- 28:19Speaker 2: No, I'm not asking Erica about Bo's or Kyle about
- 28:23Speaker 2: Bo's and Keeley, I don't.
- 28:25Speaker 4: I'm I'm not in it like that anymore.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Okay. Then, uh, Kyle and Maurcio practice shooting guns.
- 28:35Speaker 4: Kyle says she wants to be able to.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Defend herself, and there's a break in. Kyle gets emotional,
- 28:41Speaker 2: saying their house feels different now. Kyle says she is
- 28:44Speaker 2: grieving the loss of someone who is still there.
- 28:46Speaker 3: I mean, I come in them from being able to
- 28:49Speaker 3: shoot scenes together and still be around each other. You
- 28:51Speaker 3: see on social media that you know, they post together
- 28:55Speaker 3: and aspen and things like that. The scene really made
- 28:58Speaker 3: me sad. I was. I am really rooting for them
- 29:01Speaker 3: to get back together. And when I watched the scene,
- 29:03Speaker 3: I mean, she seemed like he was hugging her and
- 29:06Speaker 3: she was just kind of collapsed into herself, which made
- 29:10Speaker 3: me think like she's got a little built up anger
- 29:13Speaker 3: towards him. But I want them back together.
- 29:16Speaker 4: Before we get back into the Kyle Mauricio thing.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Keeli and Bowse just posted something together, so I guess they.
- 29:23Speaker 3: Are still together. So I guess they figured it out.
- 29:26Speaker 4: And then in regards to Kylin Risio, I think it
- 29:29Speaker 4: is I mean, it's interesting to see the juxtaposition of
- 29:33Speaker 4: what's going on with Durit and PK versus Kyle and Mauricio.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Yeah, and because like clearly Kyle and Mauricio have been
- 29:43Speaker 2: together for so long, well.
- 29:47Speaker 3: I think that they have more respect for each other
- 29:49Speaker 3: than p K and Jurite have. Right now, I was
- 29:52Speaker 3: going through divorce. There's lots of ups and downs. One time,
- 29:54Speaker 3: one minute you might hate them, the next minute you're like, oh,
- 29:57Speaker 3: maybe we should get back together, and the next time
- 29:59Speaker 3: you're like no. So you know, there is a lot
- 30:02Speaker 3: of emotions, and I think you're going to.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Go through a different level of grief, like sometimes sure, yeah,
- 30:07Speaker 2: sometimes everything feels great.
- 30:09Speaker 3: And sometimes you feel like committing a crime. So there's
- 30:13Speaker 3: a lot of emotions.
- 30:15Speaker 4: There's a lot of emotions.
- 30:17Speaker 2: But then we get back to Sutton and Garcel and
- 30:20Speaker 2: Kyle arrive and Augusta. Sutton is nervous for them to
- 30:24Speaker 2: meet her mother. She should be, because the way the
- 30:26Speaker 2: mother handled getting the scarf from Garcel made.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Me, oh my god, Oh really are comfortable. I'm like,
- 30:34Speaker 3: oh my god, oh my god. The entire scene made
- 30:37Speaker 3: me so uncomfortable. All the way from talking about kids
- 30:40Speaker 3: being weird and the scarf and oh and my thing
- 30:45Speaker 3: is is like, okay, so she talks about Garcel's son
- 30:47Speaker 3: being weird. She's obviously never been around him, so she's
- 30:50Speaker 3: just like as if she watched the show, and she's like, Yep,
- 30:53Speaker 3: that kid's weird, and I'm like, none of her kids
- 30:55Speaker 3: are weird, but also they're adorable.
- 31:00Speaker 4: Yeah, how would you describe yourself weirds?
- 31:04Speaker 2: Yeah? Then while this is all happening, Kathy has Bo's
- 31:09Speaker 2: dreeting Erica over for her Capri dinner.
- 31:12Speaker 4: Gave me a little bit of.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Fla like the Capri room. Lots of women's in the
- 31:17Speaker 3: Capri room.
- 31:18Speaker 4: I would share it was maybe slightly above the Capritra.
- 31:21Speaker 3: I love how Kathy's walking around like you know, when
- 31:24Speaker 3: I do things, I go all out and I'm like
- 31:27Speaker 3: she asked, like she's hands on and everybody's scattering around
- 31:30Speaker 3: like cockrod when they.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Have the sage, the fresh sage or whatever it was.
- 31:35Speaker 2: I was like, code red, Oh no, the stage. I
- 31:38Speaker 2: don't think I have sage in my home. But Dreek
- 31:43Speaker 2: questions why Erica wasn't invited to Augusta, similar to Tamra
- 31:48Speaker 2: questioning that Sutton says she and Erica are push and
- 31:51Speaker 2: pull and this trip is emotional. Kathy says a woman
- 31:55Speaker 2: in Venice told her she is part ches knees three
- 31:59Speaker 2: thousand B. See, the women are confused.
- 32:02Speaker 3: I mean, everybody just looked like, oh my god, did
- 32:06Speaker 3: she really just say that?
- 32:09Speaker 2: I mean, two minutes later she called PKPJ. At this point,
- 32:13Speaker 2: I think everything is for shocking an act.
- 32:16Speaker 3: But what do you mean some woman off the street
- 32:18Speaker 3: just says, oh, you're part Chinese from three thousand BC,
- 32:21Speaker 3: and you're like, oh, thanks, I didn't know that, but
- 32:24Speaker 3: I know now.
- 32:26Speaker 4: But also, that's not even something you could find out
- 32:28Speaker 4: on twenty three and me.
- 32:30Speaker 3: No, not from three thousand BC.
- 32:32Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Let's break this down. When was three thousand BC three
- 32:38Speaker 3: dollars years That was going on, three thousand years before Christ.
- 32:43Speaker 3: You weren't born yet, are you sure?
- 32:46Speaker 4: I mean.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Unless your phrase limp was that good, you weren't born yet.
- 32:54Speaker 4: But it was five thousand years ago, so twenty two
- 33:00Speaker 4: twenty five minus five twenty five that's older than us. Tam. Yeah.
- 33:07Speaker 3: Then Sun says she isn't like her mother and isn't
- 33:10Speaker 3: sure stop stop and it isn't sure right.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Sutton gets emotional thinking about her mother not being supportive
- 33:22Speaker 2: of the opening of her store. I'm gonna sound like
- 33:27Speaker 2: an asshole here, Okay, go ahead.
- 33:29Speaker 3: I love it when you're an asshole. O God, do it.
- 33:32Speaker 3: In this situation, I give you free rein to be
- 33:34Speaker 3: an asshole. I can't help it.
- 33:36Speaker 4: But like I think about like my dad, who can
- 33:40Speaker 4: be kind of an asshole. But and I love you Dad.
- 33:45Speaker 4: Well yeah, but like Dad, you're the most supportive human
- 33:48Speaker 4: in the world. I call you for any advice I
- 33:50Speaker 4: would ever have.
- 33:52Speaker 2: But he's proud of you, and he's proud of me
- 33:55Speaker 2: when I accomplish something fully on my own. Like oh,
- 34:02Speaker 2: you saying you started that store because your husband's giving
- 34:05Speaker 2: your ex husband giving you three hundred thousand.
- 34:07Speaker 3: Dollars a month. I mean, oh, by the way, if
- 34:09Speaker 3: my husband's ex husband was giving me three hundred thousand
- 34:11Speaker 3: dollars a month, I wouldn't be starting any store. I
- 34:13Speaker 3: wouldn't need the headache, I wouldn't be on Housewives.
- 34:16Speaker 4: I wouldn't be starting any store.
- 34:18Speaker 3: I don't want to start a store so I can
- 34:19Speaker 3: maybe make one hundred and fifty thousand a year.
- 34:21Speaker 2: No, you're gonna lose one hundred and fifty thousand dollars
- 34:24Speaker 2: a year like storefronts.
- 34:26Speaker 4: But I couldn't help.
- 34:27Speaker 2: And maybe that's my own issues with money, because I guess,
- 34:33Speaker 2: you know what's if you've been together in a marriage
- 34:36Speaker 2: for that long, supposedly your money is my money and
- 34:39Speaker 2: we created it together. I don't particularly believe in that
- 34:42Speaker 2: the store isn't even open anymore.
- 34:44Speaker 3: Oh, I'm just gonna ask.
- 34:46Speaker 2: Google says it's temporarily closed until season. Yeah, but I
- 34:54Speaker 2: wanted to be like, Okay, so you're mad that your
- 34:57Speaker 2: mom has this way she feels about Christian, but Christian
- 35:03Speaker 2: not only funds her life, probably still communicates with her,
- 35:08Speaker 2: pays her daughter over three hundred thousand dollars a month,
- 35:12Speaker 2: has given her the opportunity to open this store like
- 35:16Speaker 2: she should.
- 35:17Speaker 3: Was praising Sutton for marrying this guy and divorcing him
- 35:21Speaker 3: because she has never had it so good.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, the woman would probably have it better
- 35:26Speaker 2: if she was in the front house, not the back house.
- 35:29Speaker 4: Right.
- 35:29Speaker 3: I was shocked. I thought, for some strange reason, I
- 35:32Speaker 3: assume Sutton's mom was very wealthy. I don't know why.
- 35:35Speaker 3: You know, how you certain like you Yeah, you hear
- 35:37Speaker 3: about somebody and you think you know what they look
- 35:39Speaker 3: like or whatever. You seem like, Well, that's not what
- 35:40Speaker 3: I expected. I assumed this Sutton grew up rich. I
- 35:44Speaker 3: don't know why No, when she's like, yeah, I'm in
- 35:47Speaker 3: the back house and I was like, r ral, Yeah,
- 35:51Speaker 3: but that's I mean, that's also another thing, like, if
- 35:54Speaker 3: Sutton doesn't live in Augusta and she has her mom
- 35:57Speaker 3: living in the back house, why if her mom lives
- 35:59Speaker 3: in a stuff full time, the big house or by
- 36:02Speaker 3: the way, why isn't she just by her damn house?
- 36:05Speaker 2: Clearly because she's not warm and fuzzy. Because they hate
- 36:08Speaker 2: each other, but they don't like each other. I mean,
- 36:22Speaker 2: I'm confused. Is Sutton's mom like, does she not like her?
- 36:27Speaker 2: Do you think she's envious of Sutton? Do you think
- 36:30Speaker 2: that she's just mean? Do you think she's like old
- 36:33Speaker 2: school angry?
- 36:34Speaker 3: What is it?
- 36:35Speaker 2: Well, I mean, according to Sutton, her mother is a narcissist.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Then according to Sutton, her husband was also a narcissist.
- 36:45Speaker 2: But I can say one thing sudden. You cannot say
- 36:49Speaker 2: you're not like your mother and then introduce us to
- 36:52Speaker 2: a woman who is exactly like you. But then Bo's
- 37:01Speaker 2: tells Kathy that she This was a weird transition for me. Bo's,
- 37:06Speaker 2: I think is such an incredible woman in general and
- 37:09Speaker 2: so smart and so whatever. But Bo's telling Kathy that
- 37:13Speaker 2: she thinks Kyle is cold.
- 37:15Speaker 4: I'm like, you don't even know, Kathy.
- 37:18Speaker 3: I know, and to say that to the sister, and
- 37:20Speaker 3: thank God, I thought, oh shit, Pathy's gonna say something
- 37:24Speaker 3: that's not going to be nice towards Kyle and it's
- 37:26Speaker 3: gonna upset Kyle. But she didn't.
- 37:28Speaker 4: I didn't think.
- 37:29Speaker 2: I thought she did a very She showed self restraint there.
- 37:32Speaker 2: She didn't show self restraint in regards to getting the
- 37:36Speaker 2: proper accoutreman for her lemon pasta, but she handled that.
- 37:42Speaker 3: Yeah, why does Bose have such a heart on for Kyle?
- 37:47Speaker 2: I think she has a heart on for Kyle because
- 37:49Speaker 2: she wants to make sure that she's ride or die
- 37:52Speaker 2: for dreat.
- 37:54Speaker 3: Yeah. But I gotta say, I mean, I feel like
- 37:58Speaker 3: Bo's is called to Kyle, not the other way around.
- 38:01Speaker 4: I don't think that Bose has given Kyle a chance.
- 38:04Speaker 3: True, true, I know that's trying to make Durite's issues
- 38:08Speaker 3: with Kyle her own issues and they're not your issues,
- 38:11Speaker 3: and I hate that for people. When you have a
- 38:14Speaker 3: friend that doesn't like somebody, then you're not supposed to
- 38:17Speaker 3: like that person. Yeah, very elementary.
- 38:21Speaker 2: Even when I really had issues with V, her name
- 38:25Speaker 2: goes to be unsaid, and you still liked V.
- 38:28Speaker 4: I never asked you not to be friends with THEE.
- 38:31Speaker 3: No, no, it's not.
- 38:35Speaker 4: Or like give somebody a chance.
- 38:38Speaker 2: Then Kathy asks if p K is a good father
- 38:42Speaker 2: this I was floored by. Kathy asked if PK is
- 38:47Speaker 2: a good father, and Durite says no. Says PK wrote
- 38:53Speaker 2: her a seven page email about finances, custody and was
- 38:57Speaker 2: filled with threats. Says PK does not want to dur
- 39:02Speaker 2: says PK does not want to be married to her.
- 39:04Speaker 2: Erica asked what she's waiting for. Erica says PK is
- 39:07Speaker 2: trying to divorce Durie before they hit ten years because
- 39:10Speaker 2: of the California law ensuring they would split everything evenly.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Erica tells Durit to be proactive or PK will make
- 39:17Speaker 2: the decisions for her.
- 39:19Speaker 4: Durie says she will go to war if she has to.
- 39:21Speaker 3: Well, you're about to go to war because after you
- 39:23Speaker 3: said that on national TV. He is not going to
- 39:26Speaker 3: make things easy for you. I mean, but he's already supposing.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Her own life lessons to give brutally honest advice.
- 39:34Speaker 4: Yeah, love to see it.
- 39:35Speaker 3: Well, once you've gone through it, you know, whatever it
- 39:38Speaker 3: is in life, you can give advice sound advice to somebody,
- 39:43Speaker 3: like you know, we've talked about divorce and what to
- 39:46Speaker 3: expect and what could happen and things like that. I
- 39:48Speaker 3: can also educate people on lawsuits, so if anybody needs
- 39:51Speaker 3: any help.
- 39:53Speaker 4: But also they haven't.
- 39:55Speaker 2: I mean, my math isn't the best, but filming has
- 39:59Speaker 2: been o for more than six months and they still
- 40:02Speaker 2: haven't filed for divorce, so so it's almost been ten years.
- 40:07Speaker 2: And also I don't really know that the ten years
- 40:10Speaker 2: thing makes a bit of difference. At this point.
- 40:13Speaker 3: I thought it was.
- 40:15Speaker 4: Only if you weren't married you become somebody's life partner
- 40:18Speaker 4: after two years.
- 40:20Speaker 3: I think, I absolutely think that is correct. And when
- 40:23Speaker 3: I heard that, I'm like, I don't care. I don't
- 40:26Speaker 3: I don't.
- 40:26Speaker 4: Think it's right.
- 40:27Speaker 3: I think that if you're married, and I do believe
- 40:31Speaker 3: the longer you're married that might affect it somehow, But
- 40:34Speaker 3: I might be wrong. I don't know.
- 40:36Speaker 2: I don't know, but I think maybe in California law.
- 40:40Speaker 2: I mean, there's certain things that California law is different
- 40:45Speaker 2: than other places. I mean, California is one of the
- 40:47Speaker 2: only no fault states.
- 40:50Speaker 3: It's but they have the common law and that's it.
- 40:52Speaker 3: That's basically, if you've been together and not married and
- 40:55Speaker 3: lived together for ten years, then I think it's treated
- 40:57Speaker 3: as you're a married couple in.
- 40:58Speaker 4: Its fifty to fifty.
- 41:00Speaker 3: But it used to be.
- 41:01Speaker 4: I don't know if it still is. I don't either.
- 41:04Speaker 4: But what I can say is.
- 41:07Speaker 2: I just did a very public podcast talking about my
- 41:11Speaker 2: relationship and divorce and all of those kinds of things,
- 41:17Speaker 2: and I know that I would rather fall on a
- 41:20Speaker 2: sword and poke my own eyes out before coming after
- 41:25Speaker 2: Edwin the way that Dury just did about p K.
- 41:29Speaker 2: Because if she's truly saying that she wants to protect
- 41:33Speaker 2: her children and that's why she didn't mention to them
- 41:37Speaker 2: that they were separated, yeah, then this last scene, well I.
- 41:44Speaker 3: Don't see PK keeping his mouth shut. So saying somebody
- 41:48Speaker 3: is a bad father or a bad mother from the
- 41:51Speaker 3: parent is disgusting.
- 41:54Speaker 4: Well, I think it's one thing to say our relationship
- 41:56Speaker 4: is flawed.
- 41:58Speaker 3: And are to saying he's not really he's not really
- 42:00Speaker 3: hands on, he travels a lot, that he.
- 42:02Speaker 2: Travels a lot, like all of those things. But for
- 42:04Speaker 2: to blatantly say not a good parent, I mean, if
- 42:10Speaker 2: you've already told us an episode ago that your son
- 42:13Speaker 2: saw on Instagram that they they were getting separated for sure,
- 42:19Speaker 2: is damn hell. He's going to read somewhere that his
- 42:22Speaker 2: mother is calling the father a bad parent.
- 42:26Speaker 3: Yeah, well, we got some information. The ten year world
- 42:31Speaker 3: mainly replies to spousal support alimony rather than property division.
- 42:36Speaker 3: According to California Family Code, if the marriage is less
- 42:40Speaker 3: than ten years, spousal support is usually limited to half
- 42:44Speaker 3: the length of the marriage. That's google.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Oh well, none of this makes any difference to me,
- 42:50Speaker 2: because I have a kind of what we said. Yeah,
- 42:52Speaker 2: I mean, I have a prenup anyway, So that is
- 42:56Speaker 2: neither here nor there.
- 42:57Speaker 4: I feel like, from what we've heard about k and
- 43:00Speaker 4: Reid's finances, maybe that's not the primary concern.
- 43:04Speaker 3: Well, if I mean I've read, I don't know if
- 43:07Speaker 3: it's true that the house has been in and out
- 43:09Speaker 3: of foreclosure. So is that because he's not paying and
- 43:13Speaker 3: she's supposed to pay.
- 43:16Speaker 4: I have no idea. All I know about them from
- 43:19Speaker 4: the entire time that I've known them as they pay
- 43:22Speaker 4: everything in cash. All I know about myself is.
- 43:25Speaker 3: I not have a big giant red flag.
- 43:28Speaker 4: Is I never have cash? Like I'm the asshole that
- 43:31Speaker 4: goes to valet and never has cash.
- 43:34Speaker 3: Do you take that? I know I might do that,
- 43:36Speaker 3: damn it?
- 43:37Speaker 4: And then whatever friend I'm with him like, sorry, I
- 43:39Speaker 4: been you.
- 43:40Speaker 3: I don't have cat like I never have cats. I
- 43:43Speaker 3: rarely have cash.
- 43:44Speaker 2: Real Dove this morning asked me cash for the snack shack,
- 43:48Speaker 2: and I'm like, she needed two dollars.
- 43:49Speaker 4: I'm like, I have one dollar.
- 43:51Speaker 3: That I might be able to get. Yeah, well, I
- 43:57Speaker 3: do think the Erica being so blunt is exactly what
- 44:00Speaker 3: Darit needs.
- 44:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I think. But I also, you know,
- 44:05Speaker 2: I am gonna don't faint. I'm going to show some
- 44:07Speaker 2: empathy towards Durite here. I don't know that Durit.
- 44:11Speaker 4: Is ready to believe that PK doesn't want to be
- 44:15Speaker 4: with her anymore.
- 44:18Speaker 3: And I when you look at the situation, p K
- 44:20Speaker 3: doesn't want dat.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Well, I mean I think he very clearly said, you know,
- 44:25Speaker 2: she's she's changed. I think people do change in marriage,
- 44:28Speaker 2: and I do think reality television can change people. And
- 44:31Speaker 2: if their beginning of the relationship, Durit was all about
- 44:35Speaker 2: p K and her life revolved around him, and now
- 44:39Speaker 2: their life revolves solely around her, do you.
- 44:42Speaker 3: Think the home invasion changed things or put pretty much
- 44:45Speaker 3: the nail in the coffin for them?
- 44:48Speaker 4: No?
- 44:48Speaker 2: I mean yes, I would imagine him not being there afterwards.
- 44:53Speaker 2: Traveling added an additional level of stress for Darit. Yeah,
- 44:58Speaker 2: but I think anytime I'm a couple, and maybe I'm
- 45:02Speaker 2: wrong here.
- 45:03Speaker 4: If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, But anytime a couple expresses
- 45:07Speaker 4: their love to such dramatics that p K Andurite did,
- 45:13Speaker 4: there's probably underlying issues.
- 45:16Speaker 3: Well, they say that some psychologists said that people that
- 45:19Speaker 3: are constantly posting pictures of their relationship or their significant
- 45:23Speaker 3: other on social platforms, that's a red flag.
- 45:28Speaker 4: Can we also discuss one other thing? Why in God's
- 45:32Speaker 4: name did Garcel think it was going to be a
- 45:34Speaker 4: good idea to talk to Sutton's mom.
- 45:37Speaker 3: Oh my god, next week's episode. What does her mom saying,
- 45:42Speaker 3: mind your own business or that's none of your business,
- 45:44Speaker 3: not like do you go here?
- 45:47Speaker 4: Like what.
- 45:49Speaker 3: I would love to sit down and talk to Riba.
- 45:51Speaker 3: Me and her can go around. Man, we have Reba
- 45:54Speaker 3: on the pod. Oh yeah, that would be a real party.
- 45:59Speaker 4: You know what, my actually be nice to me. She
- 46:01Speaker 4: might Sutton might drive Reba crazy enough that Reba would
- 46:05Speaker 4: enjoy my company.
- 46:07Speaker 3: Who was Reba's man? Was that her boyfriend?
- 46:11Speaker 4: I don't know, because when I met Riba at Sutton
- 46:14Speaker 4: store opening years back.
- 46:16Speaker 3: Oh you met Riba.
- 46:17Speaker 4: I've met Riba.
- 46:18Speaker 3: Hold on to that little nugget.
- 46:20Speaker 4: Well, I mean it was I met her for like
- 46:22Speaker 4: one second.
- 46:22Speaker 2: I was I was busy fighting with Denise's husband, so
- 46:26Speaker 2: like I've been, I was.
- 46:29Speaker 3: By the way, did you see that they announced that
- 46:30Speaker 3: Denise Richard's news show is coming out and we see
- 46:34Speaker 3: in the promo that a few of the Beverly Hills
- 46:37Speaker 3: girls make a little cameo.
- 46:39Speaker 4: Of course I do.
- 46:40Speaker 2: It's the same production company and they got paid and
- 46:43Speaker 2: I got paid.
- 46:45Speaker 3: Shit. Yeah, well, we have a few fan thoughts. Sick
- 46:47Speaker 3: of talking about Due and PK. Is anything happening besides
- 46:52Speaker 3: Durit and PK? Well yeah, we had text The texting
- 46:55Speaker 3: getting getting boring filler episode. This was kind of the
- 47:00Speaker 3: filler episode. I enjoyed it, though I.
- 47:03Speaker 4: Mean I don't have enjoyed is the right word, but
- 47:05Speaker 4: I was.
- 47:08Speaker 2: I was mesmerized by some of the dynamics that were shown,
- 47:13Speaker 2: Like I needed to see this bows and Kihly, I
- 47:16Speaker 2: needed to see Reba.
- 47:18Speaker 4: I needed to see.
- 47:19Speaker 3: What was more shocking to you, the Bows and Kighley
- 47:22Speaker 3: scene or Riba.
- 47:25Speaker 4: I mean Riba, I wouldn't say was shocking because like
- 47:28Speaker 4: it's exactly what I would have expected.
- 47:31Speaker 2: Yeah, like just the no filter and just saying whatever
- 47:35Speaker 2: you want in the moment, not thinking about how it
- 47:37Speaker 2: may hurt the person around you. But yeah, either way,
- 47:41Speaker 2: I may have been a filler episode, but I liked it,
- 47:44Speaker 2: and I'm glad that we are out of time so
- 47:46Speaker 2: we cannot discuss watch what Happens live from last night.
- 47:50Speaker 2: I didn't watch yea, all right, we'll just brush right
- 47:53Speaker 2: over that. But we'll be back later this week, so
- 47:56Speaker 2: talk soon.
