- 0:01Happy Monday.
- 0:02This morning, I caught myself in a very familiar place, feeling anxious about something that I really didn't know how to handle.
- 0:10I just kept running the scenario in my head over and over again, trying to figure it out on my own.
- 0:19And while I'm doing all this, I get a text message.
- 0:24A friend sent me a screenshot, and in the screenshot, it had a few simple suggestions for dealing with uncertainty.
- 0:32And what I find particularly interesting is she had no way of knowing what was running through my head at that moment.
- 0:39Um, you know, I hadn't said anything to her, so there was no reason for her to send this to me other than she said she saw it and she thought of me.
- 0:48And honestly, the timing was kind of hard to ignore.
- 0:52It made me smile.
- 0:53And I know some people might just call that a coincidence, and that's totally fair.
- 0:59But it had me pause because this isn't the first time something like that has happened, and it made me notice a belief I carry, mm, probably more often than I realize, and it's this idea that I'm, I'm just on my own, that it's all up to me to figure things out.
- 1:18And maybe you can relate.
- 1:20But then I started thinking about how often these little synchronicities actually happen.
- 1:27You know, you're stuck thinking about something and someone says, exactly what you needed to hear, or you keep thinking about someone and then suddenly they reach out to you, they text you or call you.
- 1:40Or maybe you open something on your phone, like a podcast or a post, and it answers a question that you didn't even say out loud.
- 1:48Or maybe you get the same message that shows up in different places until you finally pay attention.
- 1:54They're all like small things and easy to miss, but I wonder, you know, how many of these moments we barely register.
- 2:03Or maybe we notice them and we even smile at the timing and then we kinda move on with our day.
- 2:09But what if we actually let them mean something?
- 2:13What if, instead of treating each one as an isolated little coincidence, we allowed ourselves to consider the possibility that we're more connected, more supported than sometimes we remember?
- 2:27Personally, I think these moments add up in a meaningful way, and they start to challenge that idea that we're doing all of life alone.
- 2:37So today, I'm choosing to pay attention to the evidence that I'm not quite as alone or disconnected as, as it can feel sometimes.
- 2:47I'm not doing this to try to prove anything per se.
- 2:51I just wanna stop overlooking the ways I might already be supported, and to open my heart to the possibility that we're more connected and more supported than I'm sometimes willing to believe.
- 3:06So if today is feeling heavy or uncertain and you're feeling really alone in it, just know that the fact that you're hearing this right now at this exact moment could be a small piece of evidence of what I'm suggesting, that you don't have to carry it all on your own.
- 3:25Sending a big virtual hug your way.
- 3:28Have a beautiful Monday.
