- 0:02God, bless your family, God blessed God, blessed, God blessed.
- 0:06Like I'm babbling, Amen, is early for me. So listen, what
- 0:10is your calling? Amen? What is the will of God for your life?
- 0:14A lot of people always ask those questions because they're good questions, and
- 0:18after a while sometimes you think you wonder right, You're like, so why
- 0:24am I going through this? That? And the third? If I'm called
- 0:27by Christ, so I'm calling this one. Christ's calling. Today's Friday.
- 0:30So we're getting into authentic imitationology. This is episode number seventy three. Can
- 0:35you believe it? Seventy three times? Getting in authentic imitationology, which is
- 0:40basically saying, let's imitate the most successful person who has ever lived on this
- 0:45planet earth, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord Jesus of Nazareth, Amen,
- 0:49the Lord of the Scriptures, the Lord of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,
- 0:53the Lord on High. Christ's calling. We're called to be like Christ,
- 0:58right, We're called to be conformed into his image, into his likeness,
- 1:03Amen, because we are one with him. When if Jesus is one
- 1:07with the Father, Amen, make no mistake, you are one with Christ.
- 1:11There's a union there it's not like Jesus on the outside, like he's
- 1:17beside us or behind us, in front of us. Yeah, technically he
- 1:19is too, but he lives in us by way of Holy Spirit. God.
- 1:23Amen. So we have what we need to live this life out and
- 1:26we're called by Christ. So I'm calling this one Christ's calling, not the
- 1:32Christ calling. Is Christ calling. Amen. Good morning, sister jo Why
- 1:34and I see you? Good morning, God bless you. Welcome back to
- 1:38the morning. Devote my sister and my friend. So let's do this.
- 1:41Let's ask the questions that are necessary to ask. Right, Let's be honest
- 1:48with ourselves first, and then we can be honest with other people as well.
- 1:52What is your work that God has called you to do? You individually,
- 1:57but remember we can't do this by ourselves. But if you have an
- 2:00individual call and I have an individual call, let's do the work for the
- 2:04Lord, right, and then when we come together, it'll just make things
- 2:07more powerful. There's power numbers this one Christ's calling. What is your work
- 2:14that God has called you to do? You ever thought about that? Like?
- 2:17What am I here for? What's the purpose? What's the will of
- 2:21God for my life? Those type of questions A man sometimes will keep you
- 2:24up at night. But we have a God who answers a man. We
- 2:28have a God who answers. We have a God who responds. We have
- 2:30a God who if he promises you something, he will come through with that
- 2:34promise. We have a God that's worth fighting for that we're worth fighting the
- 2:38good fight of faith a man. We have a God who lives, a
- 2:42God who understands, a God who forgives, a God who has mercy,
- 2:46a God who has grace, A God who knows our hearts and loves us
- 2:51anyway, knows our thoughts and loves us anyway. God is faithful, He's
- 2:54good. So Christ's calling today on the morning Devo Authentic Imitationology Friday Sessions,
- 3:00John Chapter seventeen, verse number four is where we're going to be. So
- 3:04it goes to your bible. App go to your bible. If you have
- 3:07a printed Bible, I suggest those printed bibles would be something that you'll invest
- 3:12in very soon, because pretty soon these printed bibles and men online digitized bibles,
- 3:17they're going to be changed slowly, but surely they excuse me, they're
- 3:23being changed as we speak. You know, suddenly, you know, not
- 3:29not really like blatantly. Some Bibles are blatantly changing. Some people are are
- 3:34adding scriptures to the Bible, adding the Constitution of the United States, adding
- 3:38this, adding that, and people are all into that stuff. I like
- 3:43the old school scriptures. Amen. Getting into the Word of God a physical
- 3:46book, Amen to that way. You know, unless there's some technology I
- 3:50don't know about. But I don't think nobody could jump into a printed word,
- 3:53a printed Bible and start changing words, right unless there's some tech that
- 3:59I don't know about, like I said, And of course you could just
- 4:02highlight it up, man, s puit on notes in it, reminders everything.
- 4:08Man, get into this word is where will change your life, will
- 4:11save your life, will transform your life. Look at the proverbs. Man.
- 4:15One time, I said, listen, I'm going to go through a
- 4:16proverb a day, and I'm going to really really dissect this. And I
- 4:20just started taking notes and scribbling all through it. People say you can't write
- 4:25in the Bible. I brought it so I can write it. Amen.
- 4:29And this one is a good Bible. It's the John C. Maxwell New
- 4:33King James Version Leadership Bible. Amen. So get yourself a good Bible,
- 4:38a book, a printed Bible. Amen. Because you have a calling and
- 4:42Christ's calling. Amen, and you could be who God called you to be
- 4:46without putting any pressure on yourself a man, if that makes any sense.
- 4:50So let's go forward. We're gonna pray first. If you have any questions,
- 4:55comments, concerns, or any prayer requests, don't hesitate to leave it
- 4:58on a live chat. That's what we're here for. Or if you're listening
- 5:00our so win is with a z RG welcome back, Shout out to Colorado,
- 5:05shout out to Man. I forgot to put the list down again.
- 5:10There was five. I'd like to mention the five states that are listening to
- 5:13Pennsylvania, Colorado, Texas, Florida, and I forgot the last one.
- 5:16But shout out to all the listeners that some win is with a ZEA Org
- 5:20Celebrate a network right the Leha Valley's number one urban gospel music station. We've
- 5:26been online since two thousand and eight. Let's pray first. After we pray,
- 5:30we'll share this out for like sixty seconds, and then on the other
- 5:32side of the sixty seconds, Amen, we'll get right into today's Bible study.
- 5:38Amen. In the morning Devo. Here on the morning Devo, So
- 5:41Father, thank you so much for doing what you do. You're the only
- 5:45one that's capable, the only one that has the ability to transform lives,
- 5:49to make things that were all new. To forgive us for our trespasses and
- 5:56leave the trespasses in the past. You don't remind us of our past.
- 6:00Lo God, you remind us of our future, and you continue to love
- 6:02us regardless. Thank you for understanding what we do, who we are.
- 6:06Thank you for calling us to a greater purpose, for a greater purpose.
- 6:11Thank You for using each and every one of us as part of the body
- 6:15of Christ. Those who are the feet, lags, arms, our eyes,
- 6:18but we never could be the head, because you are the head,
- 6:21Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for allowing us into your family,
- 6:26for adopting us into the forever of a family that you have planted these
- 6:31seeds of eternal life and our hearts for eternity. Thank you, Lord God,
- 6:35that we are called for a purpose, We are called for a plan.
- 6:39We are called for such a time as this, And you don't make
- 6:42no mistakes. Lord, Thank you Jesus that I'm not a mistake, and
- 6:45my friends and family they're not mistakes, or we are purposely planned to be
- 6:48here for a season and a reason and a purpose. So our praeld God
- 6:53a hedge of protection over my mind physically, emotionally and spiritually, over my
- 6:57family's minds, physically, emotionally and spiritually, over my our friends, my
- 7:00supernatural friends, my normal friends, my family members, those who are spiritually
- 7:05under the guidance of me, or under the guidance of a pastor or a
- 7:11leader, or an evangelist or apostles or prophets or teachers. Thank you,
- 7:15Lord God for placing us all under good sound doctrine. And I pray for
- 7:20faith. I pray for victorious thoughts. I pray for the victory of God
- 7:25to be in our inspiration today for our calling. And I thank you for
- 7:29the Christ of the King of Kings, of the Lord of Lord, is
- 7:31the Christ Jesus that saves us and rescues us from all on righteousness and cleanses
- 7:36us from all on righteousness. In Jesus name. We pray this by faith,
- 7:40and all those who agree we say amen and Amen. So let's go
- 7:43forward sixty seconds. When we come back. When we come back, we'll
- 7:46dive by into the scripture, which is John chapter seventeen, verse numb before
- 7:50I'll be right back. Amen. Amen, We're back. Go sixty seconds
- 9:09go by so fast. The days go by so fast. But weeks are
- 9:13like years, right, the weeks. The years are like weeks now right,
- 9:18and the days are like minutes now right. It's crazy how time is
- 9:20just flying by, flying by. My beautiful wife says amen, beautiful prayer,
- 9:26morning, blessings to everyone. Amen. So let's go for it.
- 9:30John seventeen, verse number four. Do you know that we're called by Christ
- 9:37to do something that you might think is impossible for us to do? And
- 9:41I'm going to prove that it is possible. And it's very easy to make
- 9:46things known when you read the scriptures, whatever ours, and it's read the
- 9:50scripture because the scripture, the scripture is inspired by the Word of God.
- 9:54The word God is inspired by God, the Father. Right, So every
- 9:58time you read the scripture is that Bible. The Bible doesn't contain the scriptures.
- 10:03The Bible is the scriptures. The Bible doesn't contain the Word of God.
- 10:07The Bible is the Word of God. So if you look at it
- 10:09like that and you're inspired by Holy Spirit that's in you, every time you
- 10:13read the Word. Since it's active and alive, you'll start understanding more and
- 10:18more and more. You don't have to be at the elogian. You don't
- 10:20have to have a doctorate, doctriate and divinity or anything like that. All
- 10:26though those things might not hurt right, you know, But you don't have
- 10:30to have those things. If you have holy Spirit, teacher God inside of
- 10:33you, Amen, he will lead you and guide you into all truth and
- 10:37teach you all truth. There's never a time that God's going to lie to
- 10:41you or a lot to me. Amen. He always speaks truth. He's
- 10:43always full of light and never full of darkness. Amen. We could trust
- 10:46them. We can trust God at his word, and take God at his
- 10:50word, and place the Word in front of you every single day and see
- 10:54what happens in your life. Amen. No weapon formed against you shall prosper
- 11:00what the scripture says. And we are made fearfully and wonderfully. We're made.
- 11:05God has his eyes on you, and God has his eyes on me.
- 11:07Amen. And to some that's like wow, I don't want him to
- 11:11look. Well, he's looking anyway. He loves you, he loves me.
- 11:13Amen. So we could continue working the things out that God wants us
- 11:18to work out. And it's nothing to make up, nothing to fantasize about.
- 11:22It's everything that has truth, and everything that's righteous, everything that's good,
- 11:26everything that is loving kind, everything that is worth living for Amen,
- 11:31is found in the scriptures. Amen. And you'll get inspired by that,
- 11:33just like I'm inspired by it every time I read it. So let's go
- 11:37for it with dentic imitationology. Amen. I try to do these every Friday.
- 11:43Try to switch gears on the DeVos and try to do these every Friday.
- 11:46And then we keep it like that. Amen, there was my five
- 11:52my curs Christ calling the Bible says in John's seventeen four, I have glorified
- 11:58you you down here. This is the Lord Jesus speaking. I have glorified
- 12:03you Father, down here on the earth by completing the work that you gave
- 12:11me to do. Very personal a man, very personal scripture, very personal
- 12:18quote from Jesus. If you read John seventeen there you'll have the prayer that
- 12:22Jesus made for us to hear out loud. So we're called according to what
- 12:31Jesus is saying here, He's called to glorify the Father. And guess what
- 12:37we're called to do. Once we're born again, once we're saved, we
- 12:41are called to glorify the Father. Just like the calling that Jesus had and
- 12:48Jesus did. We are called to glorify the Father. I glorified you on
- 12:52earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. Now the
- 12:58question is what glorifies God doing his work. Amen, it's not it's not
- 13:05that complicated. I know people want to get super theological. Amen. That's
- 13:09sorry, that's another scripture there. I mean to do that. Oh no,
- 13:13that is the second scripture I have for us. Let's let's keep here
- 13:16for a second. A lot of people over complicate the scriptures, in my
- 13:20opinion, glorifying part. Yes, let's go glorify the Lord Jesus. Yes,
- 13:28how do you do that? Well, you have to go to seminary.
- 13:33You have to be a pastor or evangelist, a possible prophet, a
- 13:35teacher. No, no, where it does to say you have to be
- 13:39those things. Actually, those things that I just spoke of and listed,
- 13:43those are gifts from God, and He divvies out the gifts. Amen.
- 13:48The calling of God is for us to glorify him. Calling Christ is to
- 13:54call glorify Jesus and well glorifies God doing his work. He has called you
- 14:01to accomplish, but I can't do it. Yeah, I can't do the
- 14:05work either on my own. That's why he and dwells in us. That's
- 14:11why he dwells in us. He feels us by way of his Holy Spirit.
- 14:13If he calls you to do something, I could probably guarantee you that
- 14:18you're not qualified to do what he calls you to do according to the world
- 14:22system standards. But when God qualifies you, when he calls you, Amen,
- 14:28get ready. You'll be able to accomplish anything that the Lord asks of
- 14:31you because he fills you with the strength to get it done. He fills
- 14:35you with the understanding, wisdom knowledge to get it done. He doesn't say,
- 14:39Okay, Sam, go ahead and do something and then turns away and
- 14:41starts handling somebody else and just leaves me like that to figure it out.
- 14:46I don't know how many times I've set it out of my own mouth.
- 14:48I'm trying to figure this out. When the scriptures is there, it's an
- 14:52open book test. When am I trying to figure out? Amen? And
- 14:58if you're thinking that way, I gotta figure this South. It's an open
- 15:01book test. We have the scriptures, we have the answers. Hey man,
- 15:03you know you have it took an open book test, the questions on
- 15:05the front and then the key, you know, the answer keys in the
- 15:09back, and like I got to figure this out. And people are looking
- 15:13at you like it's an open book test. Like if you need the answers,
- 15:18just turn the page. So all we have to do is turn the
- 15:20page of the scriptures. Need the answers, turn the page and you'll find
- 15:26the answers doing his work during the work he has called you to do and
- 15:33accomplished. When Jesus came to the earth, right, he glorified the Father
- 15:37by accomplishing the work he was called to. The question is what did Jesus
- 15:46come to this earth to do. A lot of people to this very day
- 15:50think that Jesus came to this earth to condemn the world. I'm gonna go
- 15:54down there and I'm gonna condemn everyone. When the scriptures are clear and John
- 15:58chapter three or sixteen, and keep on reading from there, it says that
- 16:02Jesus did not come to condemn the world, but to save the world.
- 16:07And if you don't believe in him, as Christ as savior, you condemn
- 16:11yourself, right, So Jesus is saying, I got my hands off your
- 16:15condemnation. I didn't come to condemn you. I came to save you and
- 16:18rescue. I came to do the Father's will. I came to spread the
- 16:22kingdom message. I came to redeem. I came to restore what was broken,
- 16:26to fix what was broken between man and God. Because of what happened
- 16:30at Genesis chapter three. You know Genesis chapter three, people say, if
- 16:34God knew that Adam and Eve was going to sind why would he set them
- 16:38up that way? If God knew that the serpent was going to talk to
- 16:41Eve and to see Eve, why would he set them up that way?
- 16:45No, God, Eve, I believe he didn't know what was going to
- 16:47happen. But he gave choice. He gave choice. He gave us a
- 16:53choice to not do something or to do something, to believe or not to
- 16:57believe, to follow him or not to follow him, to love him or
- 17:00not to love him. That's a choice. Love requires choice. I astually,
- 17:07if I forced somebody to love me without choice, that's not love.
- 17:11That's dictatorship. You're not gonna like that either, Why would God forced Why
- 17:15did God force me into heaven? Why did God force me to do his
- 17:18will? Why did God force me to read his scriptures? That's dictatorship.
- 17:22There's no choice in that. Since God is love, God gives choice.
- 17:26Let's get back to another scripture here. I thought I made a mistake of
- 17:30I forgot I had two scriptures here, Mark chapter ten, verse forty five.
- 17:34Mark ten forty five says, for even the son of Man, Jesus
- 17:38did not come to be served, but to serve and to give his life
- 17:45as a ransom for many. I don't know anybody, including myself, if
- 17:49I'm honest, that would give their life as a ransom. If I'm innocent
- 17:55of something, It's hard for me to think that I would die for somebody
- 18:00who's guilty. But Jesus is a different level, top tier. He is
- 18:07God man. Even the son of Man did not come to be served,
- 18:12but to serve and to give his life as a ransom to many. Why
- 18:18because he had a calling on his life. Why would you even think about
- 18:22that? Because we have a calling on our lives. Amen, we know
- 18:26what we need to do. Is just that A lot of times, Amen,
- 18:30just speaking from us, we are hesitant to do what God calls us
- 18:34to do because we don't want to be rejected, We don't want to be
- 18:37misunderstood. We don't want people to think we're crazy. Amen. I pray
- 18:44over people radically, Amen, And then after the prayer A lot of times
- 18:48they say you do this, you do these prayers? I said, yeah,
- 18:51because I believe that God is a radical god to serve right, the
- 18:56easy God to serve. And I also know that the enemy is radical at
- 18:59what he does. He's trying to kill, steal, and destroyed. So
- 19:03we know that we need to pray against the enemy's tactics. We need to
- 19:07pray for our righteousness. We need to come against wickedness. We need to
- 19:11keep our soul right, filled with the word of God, our spirit,
- 19:15filled with the will of God. Jesus did not come to save our spirit.
- 19:18He came to save our soul, the spirit of God. Amen.
- 19:22Knows that the flesh and the spirit, it tells us in scriptures, they're
- 19:25always at war. So he didn't come to save our spirit. He came
- 19:29to save our soul, which is our will. Where we make up decisions
- 19:32our emotions, Amen, and our emotions by the way, I learned this.
- 19:37I don't think our emotions are made to be fixed. I think our
- 19:40emotions are made to be felt. He wants us to feel. And once
- 19:44you don't feel emotion, Amen, And once you don't care, and once
- 19:48you don't feel any conviction, you're in a worse space than a lot of
- 19:51people who are really serving the devil, because at least they're probably still emotional
- 19:56about that, they still care, they still have a conviction about serving the
- 19:59death. But if you don't care about anything, I think you're in the
- 20:02worst spot. We're called this is the Christ calling. The work that the
- 20:07Father requires us to do is to glorify him. That work was to die
- 20:11on a cross for the Lord and pay for our sin. I couldn't pay
- 20:15for your sin. You couldn't pay for your own sin. Jesus was the
- 20:18only one that could satisfy the sin death. So that's why the Father asks
- 20:25the son, or called the son, to do what he did. Amen.
- 20:29And Jesus being the God man one hundred percent man, one hundred percent
- 20:33God. I know that doesn't make any sense to our intellect right now,
- 20:37that's impossible, that equation, this stand of thirty. Then you're trying to
- 20:40figure it out. How could you guys believe in the Father, the Spirit
- 20:44and the Son, because basically in the scriptures, that's the order. The
- 20:48order that's first mentioned in the scripture is elohem, God the Father, right,
- 20:53then the Spirit rock eloheen. Then the Son Jesus shows up. He's
- 21:00that perfect image. He's the exact replication of the Father on earth. And
- 21:06now it changed from the Father to the Son than the Holy Spirit, because
- 21:11Jesus now is grabbing his calling from the Father a man, and he knows
- 21:15that he has to go to a cross. Every time I say he had
- 21:18to, I have to, you know, correct myself. He didn't have
- 21:22to do it. He did it because he loves you and he loves me
- 21:25a man. He could literally, like he said to the rulers of that
- 21:29time, he said, if I wanted to, I could call a legion
- 21:30of angels and get this done with. Forget you guys, a man,
- 21:34I'm out. But he did it because he loved us. He demonstrated his
- 21:38own love. His love is not the way we love one another. He
- 21:41has a god a love, unconditional love. His word has conditions. His
- 21:45love is unconditional. Anyway, I don't want to start preaching. Jesus had
- 21:51other tasks to accomplish, just like we have other tasks to accomplished. But
- 21:56let's keep the main thing the main thing. Let's keep the first things first,
- 22:00you and me to do something we have a christ calling is to glorify
- 22:03the Father. And you think that's hard, I don't think so. If
- 22:07you're having a bad day in your thought life and just like you argued with
- 22:11somebody, you curse somebody out or anything, you say, man, I
- 22:15failed today, I didn't glorify God. No that's not true. You could
- 22:18have another moment to give God glory. You could literally do something wrong.
- 22:23Go into the scripture and share the scripture with somebody and watch how the Father
- 22:27is glorified. Do that. They might look at you like, I don't
- 22:30think you're I think you're crazy. You just did X, y Z,
- 22:36and now you're reading a scripture to me. Well, we have to get
- 22:38back right somehow, someway and the cheap cheap that we have I call it
- 22:42is the scriptures. Scriptures always guess us back on track. Why because when
- 22:47you speak the word of God out of your own mouth, you're speaking life,
- 22:48you speaking freedom, you speaking power, you speak in authority, you
- 22:52speaking position. We're already seated in the heavenly places according to the word of
- 22:56God over our lives. Jesus, how others has to do right? But
- 23:00primarily Jesus came to die. And I know it sounds like, man,
- 23:03that's that's a horrible like in the way of mankind, the way we think,
- 23:11that's a horrible mission. You came. Okay, you came to die.
- 23:15Man, what's what's so fun or what's so you know? What's so
- 23:21important about that? Are we all going to die? Yes, I'm going
- 23:25to die. The spy is going to die. My spirit remains with the
- 23:27Lord. My soul's already saved, So I'm with the Lord. So Christian
- 23:32or christ follow one who believes puts the whole faith and trust in the Lord.
- 23:36Literally right, technically, doesn't die. The body dies, Did Jesus
- 23:41spirit dining across? Did Jesus so diying across? No? And no,
- 23:48his body died on the cross. But guess what three days later, what
- 23:51happened to that body? That body resurrected physically. If we had a resurrected
- 23:56Jesus that was just in the spirit, it would be a bunch of mystics.
- 24:02Right, we will be like nothing to prove, because you know,
- 24:06spiritually Jesus rose from the grave. Nobody could confirm that. Nobody but Jesus
- 24:10rose bodily to show his disciples, to show the people around him. He
- 24:15showed it to five hundred and at one time. The scripture says he went
- 24:18to the disciples eight. With them, he went through a door. So
- 24:19he had a glorified body now, but they could still see the scars on
- 24:23him. Like he said, don't touch me. I have not sent it
- 24:26to the Lord yet, to the Father yet. So for even the son
- 24:30of Man came not to be served, but to serve and to give his
- 24:32life as a ransom. Right. And he had other things to do,
- 24:37but primarily Jesus came to die and to serve. What about you? What
- 24:42is your work that God has called you to do? This is how you
- 24:47glorify God in the greatest way. You won't glorify God. This is what
- 24:52we shouldn't be doing. We won't glorify God by doing the work he's called
- 24:56others to do, but by doing the work he's called you to do.
- 25:00It's personal, but not private. So what is your calling glorify God.
- 25:04Don't stress yourself out? How could I do that? Read John seventeen the
- 25:08whole chapter for yourself and amen, and you'll get a better understanding what I'm

- 25:41through us, and we can imitate what the scripture says to do. Amen.
