Latest / The Epstein Chronicles / Ghislaine Maxwell's Lawyers Argue For Her Bail
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello everyone, and welcome to the Jeffrey Epstein Show. I'm
- 0:04Speaker 1: your host Bobby Capucci, and this is Daily Drop number
- 0:09Speaker 1: four hundred and twenty three. Gilaine Maxwell's legal team, specifically
- 0:16Speaker 1: David Oscar Marcus, took out an op ed in the
- 0:21Speaker 1: New York Daily News yesterday and basically did their same
- 0:28Speaker 1: old song and dance about how she should be released
- 0:31Speaker 1: before her trial, and they, you know, about how her
- 0:35Speaker 1: treatment is so horrible and how Gilaine Maxwell right now,
- 0:39Speaker 1: at this moment, is receiving a worse stint incarcerated than
- 0:43Speaker 1: anybody has ever received ever in the history of the world.
- 0:49Speaker 1: The way they tell it is that Maxwell is being
- 0:53Speaker 1: just horribly abused while she's in jail, and we know
- 0:58Speaker 1: that's not the reality. We know that if she was
- 1:01Speaker 1: in say general population, and something happened to her, she
- 1:05Speaker 1: got beat up or she got assaulted or whatever, you know,
- 1:09Speaker 1: it would be the different side of the coin. Right. Oh,
- 1:12Speaker 1: why wasn't she in solitary confinement? They want her to
- 1:16Speaker 1: get hurt, so they didn't have her in solitary confinement.
- 1:20Speaker 1: That's basically the argument they're making. And it's absolutely ridiculous,
- 1:25Speaker 1: right because the only way that there is even a
- 1:30Speaker 1: little bit of safety in jail or in prison is
- 1:34Speaker 1: if you show up, if you go to the protected unit.
- 1:40Speaker 1: You can't run around on the mainline in prison or
- 1:43Speaker 1: in jail as a child abuser and think you're not
- 1:47Speaker 1: going to have a rough time of it. So people
- 1:51Speaker 1: like David Oscar Marcus and the rest of Gilain Maxwell's
- 1:56Speaker 1: star studded Harvard team can winge all they want, but
- 2:02Speaker 1: in reality they know that their client isn't built to
- 2:07Speaker 1: go and take a little bit of time in the yard.
- 2:10Speaker 1: She can't have it, she can't do it. It will
- 2:12Speaker 1: not work. The only way to even offer any sort
- 2:16Speaker 1: of safety for Gilay Maxwell while she's incarcerated is to
- 2:21Speaker 1: keep her in solitary confinement. Making the argument the other
- 2:28Speaker 1: way just is just ludicrous. You know what argument are
- 2:33Speaker 1: they trying to make if they're not trying to say
- 2:35Speaker 1: they want her in general population, because the only other
- 2:38Speaker 1: option is solitary, right, There's no in between. So that
- 2:42Speaker 1: whole entire argument is laughable at best, And it might
- 2:45Speaker 1: work with people who don't know anything about jail or prison,
- 2:50Speaker 1: but for people who understand what occurs inside of those walls,
- 2:55Speaker 1: then you know, Gelayne Maxwell is not a candidate to
- 2:59Speaker 1: be in general population. So we're gonna jump into this
- 3:04Speaker 1: Daily News op ed by mister Harvard David Oscar Marcus,
- 3:10Speaker 1: and we're gonna see if they offer anything new or
- 3:13Speaker 1: if it's just some of the old, same old, same old.
- 3:17Speaker 1: This article was run in the Daily News headline Gilayne
- 3:22Speaker 1: Maxwell should be released, she should await her trial outside confinement.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Uh what I mean? I guess if we're we have
- 3:32Speaker 1: a system where there's no bail whatsoever and everybody's getting released,
- 3:36Speaker 1: then I wouldn't have so much of a problem with it. Right.
- 3:39Speaker 1: My problem is, why should Gelayne Maxwell be able to
- 3:42Speaker 1: get belled out of jail, be released before a trial
- 3:46Speaker 1: and eighty ninety ninety five percent of the people in
- 3:51Speaker 1: jail for serious crimes aren't afforded the same ability. Why
- 3:54Speaker 1: Because she has a couple of bucks. Because she has
- 3:57Speaker 1: a couple of bucks, she can fight this, and she
- 3:59Speaker 1: could have people like David Oscar Marcus hop into the
- 4:04Speaker 1: Daily News and write a whole op ed defendinger. You
- 4:10Speaker 1: want to talk about not fair? How many people are
- 4:14Speaker 1: rotting away in jail or prison right now who never
- 4:18Speaker 1: got a fair shake, who never had access to high
- 4:21Speaker 1: profile lawyers or experts, a vast majority of them, folks.
- 4:28Speaker 1: So whenever you hear Gilain Maxwell's lawyers and Gilaine Maxwell
- 4:32Speaker 1: cry about shit, is that that shit isn't fair? Well,
- 4:35Speaker 1: I shrug my shoulders and keep it moving. You know why,
- 4:38Speaker 1: because life isn't fair. This article, opinion piece I should say,
- 4:44Speaker 1: was authored by David Oscar Marcus. Respected judge Rosemary Pooler,
- 4:52Speaker 1: who serves on the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in
- 4:54Speaker 1: New York, just wrote that prolonged solitary confinement is one
- 4:59Speaker 1: of the true horrors of the modern day penal system.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Pooler was describing a prison in Italy designed for members
- 5:06Speaker 1: of the mafia convicted of murder or tampering with witnesses.
- 5:11Speaker 1: So right away he starts off with a straw man argument.
- 5:15Speaker 1: She was talking about a prison in Italy, you buffoon,
- 5:19Speaker 1: you Harvard trained gas lighter. I mean, are you for real?
- 5:23Speaker 1: What does that have to do with anything? And furthermore,
- 5:26Speaker 1: you want to talk about the esteemed Judge Pooler. Let's
- 5:30Speaker 1: go back and refresh our memories. Wasn't Judge Pooler one
- 5:34Speaker 1: of the judges who heard the Maxwell appeal? And how
- 5:37Speaker 1: did that appeal work? Out for Maxwell. So don't try
- 5:41Speaker 1: and misconstrue her statement about what's going on in a
- 5:45Speaker 1: foreign country with mafioso in Italy to what Gilayin Maxwell
- 5:51Speaker 1: is dealing with in America. But those convicted inmates have
- 5:57Speaker 1: more freedom than gilainn Maxwell. And here comes right, this
- 6:00Speaker 1: is what I was talking about in the opening. Gonna
- 6:02Speaker 1: argue that she has no freedom to be in jail,
- 6:05Speaker 1: she's by herself. Oh, she's in solitary confinement. Woe is me? Meanwhile,
- 6:11Speaker 1: that's the only place that is acceptable for her, or
- 6:15Speaker 1: she'll be thrown to the wolves. Who has been imprisoned
- 6:20Speaker 1: without bond on twenty five year old allegations which she
- 6:23Speaker 1: adamantly denies, and who under the American system is presumed innocent,
- 6:29Speaker 1: no doubt about it. She sure is. But guess what.
- 6:33Speaker 1: There are certain crimes where you get held until your trial,
- 6:39Speaker 1: and this certainly falls under those set of crimes. Not
- 6:42Speaker 1: only is it a heinous crime what she's being accused of,
- 6:46Speaker 1: but she was hiding from authorities, from everybody. Do we
- 6:50Speaker 1: all forget that the lawyer couldn't even find her and
- 6:53Speaker 1: they had to email her to serve her. So let's
- 6:56Speaker 1: not act like she was running around hanging out at
- 6:59Speaker 1: gas and sipping wine in town square. Okay, that shit
- 7:05Speaker 1: wasn't happening. She was living under the radar, and she
- 7:09Speaker 1: was so stupid she tried to put her phone in
- 7:11Speaker 1: a Taki's bag, chips bag, whatever to try and hide it.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I mean, give me a break, all right. You act
- 7:18Speaker 1: like this is a lady who is being persecuted, like
- 7:21Speaker 1: these are the Salem witch trials, when in reality, your
- 7:26Speaker 1: smarmy ass, serpent ass client has gone away with this
- 7:29Speaker 1: for so long that it's not even funny. And now
- 7:33Speaker 1: that she has to pay the piper, that she has
- 7:35Speaker 1: to sit in that jail cell like a ton of
- 7:39Speaker 1: poor people, the vast majority of poor people around the
- 7:42Speaker 1: country and around the world who have committed a crime
- 7:45Speaker 1: or allegedly committed a crime. Oh now she doesn't like it. Huh. Well, sorry,
- 7:54Speaker 1: those mafia members can watch TV, socialize with other inmates
- 7:57Speaker 1: for an hour a day, and exercise outside for an
- 8:01Speaker 1: hour a day. Well, here's a newsflash for you there,
- 8:04Speaker 1: mister Oscar Marcus mcmaris. All right, here's a bit of
- 8:08Speaker 1: a news flash for you, pal. We're not in Italy,
- 8:13Speaker 1: Gallaine Maxwell, She's not mafioso and the people on the
- 8:17Speaker 1: yard don't respect her or fear her, and you know that.
- 8:20Speaker 1: So what you're doing here is lying, okay, because you
- 8:24Speaker 1: know as well as anybody, being mister O the trained lawyer.
- 8:28Speaker 1: By the way, how many sessions did you have with
- 8:30Speaker 1: mister Dershowitz on body, you know as a highly trained
- 8:34Speaker 1: lawyer that general population is not a good look for
- 8:39Speaker 1: your client. You know that, I know that everybody knows that. Furthermore,
- 8:44Speaker 1: again with Italy, how many of these Italian mafioso have
- 8:48Speaker 1: a laptop provided to them by the government. How many
- 8:51Speaker 1: of them get thirteen hours a day to use said laptop?
- 8:55Speaker 1: Shut up already. I mean, you would think that all
- 8:59Speaker 1: of these hile super supposedly smart people would have a way, way, way,
- 9:05Speaker 1: way better argument, but they don't even those conditions. Pooler
- 9:15Speaker 1: explained amount of torture over time. Well, you don't have
- 9:18Speaker 1: to worry about it, see, because you're gonna get your
- 9:20Speaker 1: wish after your client is convicted and she sentenced. I
- 9:28Speaker 1: hope that you're this adamant about her going into general population.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Will she allow have all the contacts she wants in
- 9:36Speaker 1: general population? Won't have to worry about nobody talking to
- 9:40Speaker 1: her anymore. I'm sure she will be delaying of the ball.
- 9:48Speaker 1: So don't think we're going to forget this, Oscar. After
- 9:53Speaker 1: this is all over and you're crying about your client
- 9:57Speaker 1: being sent to prison, well don't act like she has
- 10:00Speaker 1: to go into protective custody because that's torture, right according
- 10:05Speaker 1: to you. According to Gilian Maxwell, it's torture. So I
- 10:08Speaker 1: guess it's general population or bust. Yet they sound like
- 10:15Speaker 1: a Dace bak compared to what Maxwell is experiencing in
- 10:18Speaker 1: the Federal Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Italy treats its
- 10:24Speaker 1: convicted murderous mobsters better than we treat a fifty nine
- 10:27Speaker 1: year old woman who is a citizen of the United
- 10:30Speaker 1: States and never before accused of a crime. Oh boy,
- 10:33Speaker 1: he's really stretching the envelope here. Huh. So she was
- 10:36Speaker 1: never accused of a crime, so she is not protected
- 10:39Speaker 1: by the NPA. There, huh, Oscar, boy, you're a bumbling fool.
- 10:43Speaker 1: You are a bumbling fool. If I'm destroying your ridiculous
- 10:48Speaker 1: letter here, what do you think really intelligent people like
- 10:52Speaker 1: David Boyse and Sigaret are going to do to your
- 10:57Speaker 1: ridiculous argument. Bro give me a break. Okay, So she's
- 11:03Speaker 1: never been accused of a crime, according to Oscar. Remember this,
- 11:06Speaker 1: I hope the lawyers are listening to this. So she
- 11:08Speaker 1: should not be protected under that NPA. Right, she wants
- 11:11Speaker 1: to waive her citizenship to France, she should waive her
- 11:15Speaker 1: protections under that NPA. She didn't do anything. She's so innocent,
- 11:19Speaker 1: and Oscar is pushing that narrative here, isn't he? Well,
- 11:23Speaker 1: guess what? Put up or shut up? Lady of complain Gilaine.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Although I speak on behalf of Maxwell's family, no objective
- 11:35Speaker 1: person could honestly defend the conditions of her confinement. You're
- 11:39Speaker 1: wrong about that. Tell you what. When it comes to
- 11:43Speaker 1: this and the criminal justice system, I'm more objective than
- 11:46Speaker 1: anybody I know. Probably I want the whole entire system fixed.
- 11:50Speaker 1: But guess what the reality is. The system is what
- 11:53Speaker 1: it is. And you, my friend, Oscar, who is part
- 11:56Speaker 1: of it, part of the system, have perpetuated this system
- 12:00Speaker 1: for years and years and years, and now the chickens
- 12:03Speaker 1: are coming home the roost and your client is being
- 12:07Speaker 1: railroaded by the same system that has destroyed poor people forever.
- 12:13Speaker 1: So guess what you really want to fix the system, Well,
- 12:18Speaker 1: put pressure on the lawmakers, Oscar, because guess what, these
- 12:22Speaker 1: are the rules of the game, and we're just playing
- 12:24Speaker 1: by those rules. My friend. We didn't make the rules right,
- 12:27Speaker 1: but now guess what they're going to be enforced. For
- 12:34Speaker 1: seven months, Maxwell has been detained by herself in a
- 12:37Speaker 1: six foot nine room with a toilet and a mattress.
- 12:40Speaker 1: That's called a jail cell. I don't know breaking news.
- 12:44Speaker 1: This is breaking news I have for you right now.
- 12:46Speaker 1: But that is called a jail cell, Oscar, thank you
- 12:50Speaker 1: for coming to my ted talk. The water from the
- 12:55Speaker 1: sink is brown. She does not have the ability to
- 12:58Speaker 1: interact with other detained individual juwels, exercise outside, or even
- 13:03Speaker 1: have any exposure to the outside world. Again, let me
- 13:05Speaker 1: introduce you to something that's called jail. Okay, And if
- 13:08Speaker 1: you're uncomfortable here and you're not enjoying your time right
- 13:12Speaker 1: now in the jail, you are really really not going
- 13:17Speaker 1: to like prison after you're convicted. Guards point a flashlight
- 13:26Speaker 1: into her isolation cell every fifteen minutes during the night,
- 13:30Speaker 1: making sleep highly difficult. She is under twenty four hour
- 13:33Speaker 1: surveillance by guards and eighteen cameras. Well she was on
- 13:37Speaker 1: the other foot. How about when you had all of
- 13:39Speaker 1: those survivors under surveillance. How about when you had those
- 13:42Speaker 1: cameras roll in twenty four to seven allegedly? What about that?
- 13:47Speaker 1: No big deal? Huh? How about the girl you took
- 13:49Speaker 1: the passport from. No big deal there, huh. But you
- 13:53Speaker 1: got a flashlight shined into your cell. Doubt it shine
- 13:56Speaker 1: directly on her, by the way, folks. And now we
- 13:59Speaker 1: got a big problem. Now the world needs to stop. Now,
- 14:02Speaker 1: the UN needs to step in. Now we need to
- 14:05Speaker 1: have war crime commissions. I mean, give me a break.
- 14:08Speaker 1: It's so absurd. It is so absurd that it's not
- 14:11Speaker 1: even I can't even put into the words how absurd
- 14:15Speaker 1: it is. This is not because of any prison misbehavior
- 14:20Speaker 1: by her, but because the prison was negligent with respect
- 14:23Speaker 1: to Jeffrey Epstein and he died. Oh well, do you
- 14:26Speaker 1: want that same thing for your client? Because the way
- 14:29Speaker 1: you folks are positing your argument, it sure does seem
- 14:32Speaker 1: that way. I'm not caring from the suburbs. I know
- 14:38Speaker 1: exactly what goes on in prison. And if you think
- 14:41Speaker 1: you can gaslight all of the readers that have no idea,
- 14:45Speaker 1: well that's cool, But you're not gonna gaslight all of
- 14:48Speaker 1: us who have been following this story. And you're certainly
- 14:50Speaker 1: not going to gaslight those of us who have friends
- 14:53Speaker 1: and family who went to prison and really suffered under
- 14:56Speaker 1: a draconian system. Others accused of more serious sexual crimes
- 15:04Speaker 1: but not saddled by the Epstein effect have traditionally been
- 15:07Speaker 1: released on bond, You epic moron. None of them are
- 15:10Speaker 1: being accused of partaking in Jeffrey Epstein's behavior. None of
- 15:14Speaker 1: them are being accused of being a co conspirator and
- 15:18Speaker 1: the mastermind behind a child sex trafficking ring. Okay, so
- 15:24Speaker 1: save your ad hominem attacks and stuff it. And furthermore,
- 15:28Speaker 1: if you want to talk about precedent, well, we just
- 15:30Speaker 1: had a case in Rochester where the grand jury testimony
- 15:35Speaker 1: is being made available in the interest of public knowledge.
- 15:41Speaker 1: So if that's the case, and that's precedent, by the way,
- 15:43Speaker 1: and we're so gung ho on precedent, Oscar, well let's
- 15:49Speaker 1: get that grand jury testimony from Florida pumped out into
- 15:55Speaker 1: the public view and let's see what you have to
- 15:57Speaker 1: say about it. Then let's see what you have to
- 15:59Speaker 1: say when we have the court documents of these girls
- 16:02Speaker 1: accusing your client. Not only has Maxwell been denied bond,
- 16:09Speaker 1: she essentially has been placed in solitary confinement. I'm not
- 16:13Speaker 1: gonna go into that again, but you know why she's
- 16:15Speaker 1: in there for her own safety, point blank period. That
- 16:18Speaker 1: dog doesn't hunt. That argument's ridiculous and time to move on, Oscar.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Maxwell shouldn't be detained at all pre trial? What alone
- 16:29Speaker 1: under these conditions? Oh yeah, no, she should just be
- 16:32Speaker 1: allowed to run around and do whatever she wants. Right. Meanwhile,
- 16:35Speaker 1: you got people who haven't paid parking tickets being detained.
- 16:38Speaker 1: You got people who might have missed court being detained.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Buck Elaine Maxwell, different tier folks, two tiered system. She
- 16:45Speaker 1: does what she wants, and when she does get caught,
- 16:48Speaker 1: these Harve train lawyers start coming out of the woodwork
- 16:52Speaker 1: to defender fellow travelers, and all, I mean, what is
- 16:56Speaker 1: wrong with Harvard, Oscar? What is wrong with your university? Oscar?
- 17:02Speaker 1: And again, how many sessions have you had at the
- 17:05Speaker 1: knee of uncle underpants? Oscar? Some readers following the skewed
- 17:15Speaker 1: coverage will say she must be guilty and therefore should
- 17:18Speaker 1: sit in prison. Skewed coverage. Haven't missed the day since
- 17:22Speaker 1: October first, twenty nineteen, where you've been Oscar? Just hearing
- 17:27Speaker 1: about you? Now, Oscar, how much of this case do
- 17:30Speaker 1: you know about? Oscar? For those of you thinking that,
- 17:37Speaker 1: please keep in mind that Ghilean Maxwell has never been
- 17:40Speaker 1: previously charged or convicted of any crime. That's because the NPA.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Who do you think you're bullshitting here? Holy cow? Why
- 17:47Speaker 1: would the Daily News let this run? I mean wow,
- 17:51Speaker 1: I mean, I know, I know Murdoch owned the Daily News.
- 17:54Speaker 1: I mean Maxwell owned the Daily News at one point.
- 17:56Speaker 1: But geez, Louise, this is bad news. Let you'll let
- 18:00Speaker 1: this op ed run. But if they had somebody with
- 18:02Speaker 1: a different political opinion, Naw, you can't run that. We're
- 18:05Speaker 1: centering that. But if you want to protect a child molester,
- 18:08Speaker 1: I guess the Daily News is the spot. She's accused
- 18:15Speaker 1: in this case of events that are alleged to have
- 18:17Speaker 1: occurred more than two decades ago. Her three accusers have
- 18:20Speaker 1: never been cross examined under oath about what happened. Oh,
- 18:25Speaker 1: it's coming. Be very very careful what you wish for, okay,
- 18:29Speaker 1: be very careful. And furthermore, when Glaine Maxwell, the lady
- 18:35Speaker 1: of complain Gilaine tried to sue people over this. Why
- 18:39Speaker 1: did it always end up settling out of court? Why
- 18:41Speaker 1: didn't you see it through a discovery? Oscar? You're the
- 18:45Speaker 1: fancy lawyer, you tell me, Oscar. In fact, prosecutors have
- 18:53Speaker 1: fought to keep their identity secret, even from Maxwell's legal
- 18:57Speaker 1: team until shortly before trial, presumably so that no meaningful
- 19:03Speaker 1: investigation can be conducted. Oh yeah, that's exactly what's going
- 19:07Speaker 1: on here. It's all a big scam to get kilane
- 19:11Speaker 1: Maxwell got because there's no evidence, bro decades of evidence,
- 19:15Speaker 1: your client has zero chance to defend herself. And that
- 19:20Speaker 1: is again why you idiots are working on nothing but
- 19:26Speaker 1: like usual loopholes. All right, point blank period. I mean,
- 19:32Speaker 1: this guy is an absolute I can't even believe he's
- 19:34Speaker 1: making this argument. Did you think that this was going
- 19:37Speaker 1: to go over well? Did you think we were gonna
- 19:39Speaker 1: miss this one? I might be a day late here,
- 19:42Speaker 1: but did you think I was going to miss this ridiculousness.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Although supposedly known to the anonymous accusers, Maxwell was never mentioned, accused,
- 19:55Speaker 1: or implicated during previous investigations of Epstein. She was only
- 19:59Speaker 1: added years later after he died. What are you this
- 20:03Speaker 1: guy is on some serious mushrooms, Oscar, dude, really, are
- 20:08Speaker 1: you being for real right now with this argument? This
- 20:11Speaker 1: is what passes as good work for a Hovid trained lawyer,
- 20:17Speaker 1: because my man, I haven't even gotten busy yet. I
- 20:20Speaker 1: haven't even started eviscerating you yet. This is easy work, homie.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I didn't even need to pack my lunch, no special shoes,
- 20:29Speaker 1: nothing like that. Bro. I'm out here and my Chuck
- 20:32Speaker 1: Taylor's giving you the business. Now, when I'm done with
- 20:39Speaker 1: all of this, maybe you could come back with a
- 20:43Speaker 1: proper type of letter, a proper type of OpEd. Many
- 20:51Speaker 1: of her accusers, both public and anonymous, have a financial
- 20:54Speaker 1: motive to point the finger at her, particularly now that
- 20:58Speaker 1: Epstein is gone. Oh yeah, big time, big time monetary
- 21:03Speaker 1: motivator over in this part part of the world, folks,
- 21:06Speaker 1: big time, because you know they're back in the dumps.
- 21:09Speaker 1: They're back in the brinkstruck up in my front yard.
- 21:11Speaker 1: On a regular basis, not one interest in one interest,
- 21:15Speaker 1: only the interest of your client facing the music. If
- 21:19Speaker 1: my loved ones had to go to prison for what
- 21:21Speaker 1: they did, well, gelaye Maxwell, she has to do the
- 21:25Speaker 1: same thing, my man. Sorry and no op ed and
- 21:28Speaker 1: no amount of winging from Harvard trained lawyers is gonna
- 21:33Speaker 1: change it. Fictionalized book deals abound. Even the lawyer for
- 21:39Speaker 1: many of the accusers is making deals. While there has
- 21:42Speaker 1: been a rush to report the uncorroborated accusations, the accusers
- 21:46Speaker 1: have refused to answer questions and frankly, reporters haven't really
- 21:51Speaker 1: been asking. Instead, the reporters are fighting over their share
- 21:54Speaker 1: of the profits. You see what they're doing. It's all
- 21:57Speaker 1: about the money, basically calling everybody prostitutes. Anybody involved, you're
- 22:01Speaker 1: just money. You're money hungry. That's it. That's all it is.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Has nothing to do with the fact that you might
- 22:06Speaker 1: have been abused by Jeffrey Epstein, has nothing to do
- 22:09Speaker 1: with the fact that there might be a story here.
- 22:11Speaker 1: It's all about the money. Give me a break. That's
- 22:14Speaker 1: such a tired ass old argument from you ridiculous wanna
- 22:19Speaker 1: be elites that it's laughable at this point, you guys
- 22:23Speaker 1: run out the same playbook. I mean, don't you have
- 22:26Speaker 1: any new plays? Do you have like an offensive coordinator
- 22:29Speaker 1: that can come in and tidy up your playbook? Because
- 22:32Speaker 1: the shit you're running is gobbage. Unfortunately, in Maxwell's case,
- 22:37Speaker 1: the Court of Public Opinion and our ravenous news media
- 22:41Speaker 1: seem to be overwhelming the rule of law. The real
- 22:44Speaker 1: theory of prosecution is that she must be guilty simply
- 22:48Speaker 1: because she was associated with Jeffrey Epstein. Oh yeah, that's
- 22:52Speaker 1: exactly it. There's no evidence here. This is all based
- 22:55Speaker 1: on no evidence. People are just you know, making this
- 22:58Speaker 1: all up. Everybody's looking to destroy Gilain Maxwell because she's
- 23:02Speaker 1: so powerful. Are you for real, dude? I mean, honestly,
- 23:08Speaker 1: did you fall and hit your head before you wrote
- 23:11Speaker 1: this op ed? Somebody should have put you in concussion protocol,
- 23:15Speaker 1: my dude, because you're running around staggering right now, homie,
- 23:18Speaker 1: and you only got hit with a couple of lefts.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Maxwell will have the opportunity at trial to show why
- 23:25Speaker 1: the prosecution's abhorrent guilt by association with Jeffrey Epstein theory
- 23:30Speaker 1: is wrong. We rue the day, brother, That's all we've
- 23:33Speaker 1: been asking for for decades, And now that the dog
- 23:38Speaker 1: and Pony show has arrived, you dudes want to punch out. Huh, Well,
- 23:42Speaker 1: guess what, You're not going anywhere. You can talk all
- 23:45Speaker 1: the nonsense you want. Time is coming, and when you
- 23:48Speaker 1: get to that trial and your client is up there,
- 23:52Speaker 1: and she's getting hammered from tens and tens of witnesses.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Then we'll see who has the smirk on. Then we'll
- 24:00Speaker 1: see who's the fancy ha the trained lawyer. But predicating
- 24:08Speaker 1: her tortuous conditions of confinement on the fact that some
- 24:12Speaker 1: other inmate ended up dead in detention is not only
- 24:15Speaker 1: preposterous but shameful. What are you even talking about? Okay, preposterous, shameful,
- 24:23Speaker 1: Give me a break. There's no tortuous conditions. She's in
- 24:27Speaker 1: solitary confinement like any other convict. Our system of justice
- 24:34Speaker 1: and fairness, both in the courtroom and in advance of
- 24:37Speaker 1: any trial, is premised on the idea of giving the
- 24:40Speaker 1: benefit of the doubt to the accused. But this case
- 24:43Speaker 1: has turned that principle upside down. Oh yeah, because all
- 24:47Speaker 1: of the people that are rotting away in jail in
- 24:49Speaker 1: prison right now, that we're putting there by your so
- 24:52Speaker 1: called elite buddies for stuff like drugs. Yeah, I'm sure
- 24:55Speaker 1: they're getting a real fantastic shake right now. And guess what,
- 24:59Speaker 1: Until this systems fair for everybody, I don't want to
- 25:03Speaker 1: hear shit about Elaine Maxwell's treatment. All right, you could
- 25:07Speaker 1: miss me with that shit buddy. Sadly, many have already
- 25:11Speaker 1: convicted Maxwell and are fine with her being held in
- 25:14Speaker 1: crushing conditions, even though not one single accusation against her
- 25:18Speaker 1: has been proven. These conditions also make it impossible to
- 25:22Speaker 1: effectively prepare for her defense. Then that means it's the
- 25:25Speaker 1: same way for everybody, right and until the system's fixed,
- 25:28Speaker 1: and everybody has the same exact shake at getting off
- 25:32Speaker 1: when they're busted. Then again, I don't want to hear it.
- 25:36Speaker 1: You're spinning your wheels in neutral, bro. We're done with
- 25:40Speaker 1: your gas lighting. We're done with the cognitive dissonance, and
- 25:44Speaker 1: we're certainly done being lied to you and picked I
- 25:47Speaker 1: lied to by you, and being pitched a bullshit narrative.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Just this week, Elaine Maxwell is filing her third application
- 25:57Speaker 1: for bail. It is one of the most comprehensive be
- 26:00Speaker 1: packages ever offered in a US court, and includes renouncing
- 26:04Speaker 1: her citizenship in other countries, having a court official monitor
- 26:07Speaker 1: her finances, and home detention. Any other person in her
- 26:11Speaker 1: shoes would be released in a heartbeat. Her continued detention,
- 26:16Speaker 1: especially in these conditions, is simply wrong. Well, Marcus, you're wrong, okay,
- 26:24Speaker 1: And I just explained to you why I think you're wrong,
- 26:26Speaker 1: point by point in a nice little twenty six minute
- 26:29Speaker 1: takedown of your ridiculous arguments. And again, if some knucklehead
- 26:35Speaker 1: with a podcast is punching holes in your argument at
- 26:40Speaker 1: such a rate, what do you think other trained attorneys
- 26:44Speaker 1: are going to do to this ridiculousness. I'll give you
- 26:49Speaker 1: a hint, okay, and a little bit of advice. In fact, Marcus,
- 26:54Speaker 1: go home and get your shine box. If you like
