When the heat hits 90, Wichita’s Union Rescue Mission opens emergency shelter for homeless men—complete with cool spaces, electrolyte water, meals, clean clothes, and showers. They’re rolling out this lifesaving service Monday and Tuesday, and they’re asking the community to help: donate bottled water, non-perishables, and men’s underwear.
