- 0:53Speaker 2: I thank the Mike Gallagher Show for giving me my
- 0:55Speaker 2: first opportunity. It's been a busy day. I just moments
- 0:58Speaker 2: ago saw the Minnesota Secretary of State guy, Tad Jude.
- 1:04Speaker 2: I saw every bit of his ad there. It is
- 1:06Speaker 2: a masterpiece. I love Rachel Campos Duffy, but what the
- 1:10Speaker 2: heck is going on with her and her savaging of it?
- 1:13Speaker 2: You want to lay it out for people? You want
- 1:14Speaker 2: to start there with the tone of campaign ads? Because
- 1:16Speaker 2: different states require a different vibe.
- 1:19Speaker 3: That's my thought. What about you?
- 1:21Speaker 4: And it's a welcome respite from all of the drama
- 1:26Speaker 4: and angst and hysteria over the Vivek Ramaswamy ad in Ohio. Yeah.
- 1:32Speaker 4: Because everybody knows by now what's going on there. Amy Acton,
- 1:36Speaker 4: Vivek Ramaswamy, the Republican up against Amy. Amy Acton of Democrat, Dr.
- 1:42Speaker 4: Amy Acton, although she's one of those doctors the way
- 1:45Speaker 4: they all are, like Abdul El-Sayed. They're all doctors. None
- 1:48Speaker 4: of them practice. But I'll bet you they include doctor
- 1:51Speaker 4: on their dinner reservation.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Yeah, they do.
- 1:53Speaker 4: And on their email auto signature. Anyway, they're in this tight,
- 1:58Speaker 4: ugly race. She's got a rough family history. She's got
- 2:02Speaker 4: a difficult childhood story. A lot of there's accusations about
- 2:06Speaker 4: drunk driving and she's throwing things against the wall. And
- 2:11Speaker 4: then there's an accusation that when she was 12, she
- 2:13Speaker 4: was raped by her stepfather. Just a lot of ugly,
- 2:16Speaker 4: awful stuff. Anyway, along comes this ad from the most
- 2:21Speaker 4: unlikeliest of candidates, the secretary of state candidate in Minnesota.
- 2:26Speaker 4: He's the Republican, Tad Jude. Let's play the ad and
- 2:30Speaker 4: let's get your reaction to it because I want everybody
- 2:33Speaker 4: on the podcast And I'm in, gosh, I'm in a great,
- 2:36Speaker 4: I hope you're in a good mood today.
- 2:37Speaker 1: I am.
- 2:37Speaker 4: You feeling good?
- 2:38Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 2:39Speaker 2: And part of it is the discovery of, in some
- 2:42Speaker 2: ads and in some races, you got to go in
- 2:44Speaker 2: with guns blazing. You got to call a spade a spade.
- 2:47Speaker 2: You got to take no prisoners. Go in with a
- 2:49Speaker 2: scalpel and a sledgehammer. In other places, maybe, can we
- 2:52Speaker 2: maybe have some messaging to make people feel good, optimistic,
- 2:56Speaker 2: and upbeat? And this one does that. I think there's
- 2:58Speaker 2: more than room for both of those approaches.
- 3:01Speaker 4: And you know what I'm feeling great about is you
- 3:03Speaker 4: know how we– I asked you a while ago, do
- 3:05Speaker 4: you ever walk out of the studio and just say,
- 3:06Speaker 4: that was a great show today. I had a good show.
- 3:09Speaker 4: I would see Rush Limbaugh when I worked at WABC,
- 3:11Speaker 4: and I'd see him go down the hall after his
- 3:13Speaker 4: show at 3 o'clock. And I'd say, how'd the show go, Rush?
- 3:16Speaker 4: He'd say, I was off today. And I thought– I
- 3:19Speaker 4: just heard a three-hour masterpiece.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Of course.
- 3:21Speaker 4: What you're talking about. You do have an off day.
- 3:24Speaker 4: But today was one of those days. Everything came together.
- 3:27Speaker 4: I don't know what it was. The stars all aligned.
- 3:30Speaker 4: We ran the Tad Jude ad. I say on air,
- 3:34Speaker 4: I'd love to get Tad Jude just to interview the guy.
- 3:37Speaker 4: And within seconds. Ten minutes, we had him on the show.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Tremendous.
- 3:41Speaker 4: Because as I'm hearing the ad, I'm thinking, tell me
- 3:44Speaker 4: this voice is the candidate's voice. Because it's one of
- 3:48Speaker 4: those character voices that make you think that it's a
- 3:51Speaker 4: Hollywood voiceover.
- 3:52Speaker 2: It sounds like one of those really, you know, in here,
- 3:54Speaker 2: in the hinterlands of Minnesota, we know what it feels
- 3:57Speaker 2: like after the first snow. It's like a professional Hollywood voiceover.
- 4:01Speaker 4: But it's the dude. It's the guy. It's the actual candidate.
- 4:04Speaker 4: And the ad just inspired me. Here it is. I
- 4:08Speaker 4: give you Tad Jude, the Republican candidate for secretary of
- 4:12Speaker 4: state in Minnesota.
- 4:14Speaker 5: Minnesota. We're still here. We never left. We're still in
- 4:24Speaker 5: the diners that open at five in the morning. Still
- 4:28Speaker 5: in the churches that have stood since past generations built them.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Still on the docks. Still in the fields. Still in
- 4:37Speaker 5: our favorite biking and walking paths. Still in the factories.
- 4:41Speaker 5: Still in our police precincts. Still in the courtrooms. Still
- 4:48Speaker 5: on the ice. Still in the iron in the ground
- 4:53Speaker 5: that built this country. We know what you are. Minnesota,
- 4:59Speaker 5: we know the way the light comes across a frozen
- 5:02Speaker 5: lake in January, or the way the sunlight glistens a
- 5:05Speaker 5: certain golden light through the leaves of autumn. We know
- 5:09Speaker 5: what it sounds like when the ice shifts in the night.
- 5:13Speaker 5: We know the smell of a pine forest after the
- 5:15Speaker 5: first snow. We know you. This is what we're still
- 5:20Speaker 5: here for. But something changed here. And most of us
- 5:27Speaker 5: felt it, not as Republicans or Democrats, but as Minnesotans.
- 5:32Speaker 5: Like something that belonged to us was decided for us.
- 5:37Speaker 5: Like we came home one day and the house had
- 5:40Speaker 5: been rearranged while we were gone. These lakes are still ours.
- 5:47Speaker 5: These schools are still ours. These streets... the ones our
- 5:52Speaker 5: children walk home on, the one our parents drove before us,
- 5:57Speaker 5: still ours. But when the people trusted to protect all
- 6:02Speaker 5: of this, to keep the records on us, to keep
- 6:06Speaker 5: the process clean, to keep the decision in our hands,
- 6:11Speaker 5: when they stopped answering to us, you felt it, Minnesota.
- 6:17Speaker 5: We all did. We are the land of 10,000 lakes,
- 6:22Speaker 5: the bold north, the North Star State, home to people
- 6:26Speaker 5: who have never once confused endurance with surrender, who have
- 6:30Speaker 5: weathered every winter this place has thrown at them and
- 6:33Speaker 5: come back to the ice the following year, despite how
- 6:36Speaker 5: much we've been taken advantage of, without even a say.
- 6:43Speaker 5: My name is Ted Jude, and I'm running for Minnesota
- 6:46Speaker 5: Secretary of State because this office belongs to you. The
- 6:50Speaker 5: state belongs to you.
- 6:53Speaker 3: We never left.
- 6:56Speaker 5: It's time to come home.
- 7:02Speaker 4: Bring it back. Our money, our elections, our flag. Now,
- 7:07Speaker 4: so I and I just thought this is the way
- 7:10Speaker 4: you kind of used to be. Maybe that's part of
- 7:13Speaker 4: the problem. Because Minnesota nice, some would say, ain't cutting
- 7:18Speaker 4: it these days with these radical Democrats.
- 7:21Speaker 3: I understand.
- 7:21Speaker 2: I know that everybody wants to be in fighting mode 24-7,
- 7:24Speaker 2: but it's not as though he doesn't point out, because
- 7:27Speaker 2: I think at one point when he's sort of wistfully
- 7:29Speaker 2: looking at these clippings, one of them I think was
- 7:31Speaker 2: about fraud of some sort. One of them was about
- 7:33Speaker 2: people refusing to fly the Minnesota state flag.
- 7:36Speaker 3: So he kind of.
- 7:37Speaker 4: No, no, no. It's not about refusing to fly it.
- 7:39Speaker 4: And that's and I want to tell you about the
- 7:41Speaker 4: flag issue. I'll bet you weren't. And I want to.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Please do.
- 7:43Speaker 2: But to my point, he does indeed in a very wistful,
- 7:48Speaker 2: cinematic way. He does indeed put in people's faces in
- 7:51Speaker 2: this ad that things are going wrong in our state.
- 7:54Speaker 2: And I'm the kind of bedrock guy to bring it back.
- 7:56Speaker 2: But what was the flag story?
- 7:57Speaker 4: Including including the flag issue. And he, you know, Minnesotans
- 8:03Speaker 4: know exactly what he's talking about in that ad about
- 8:05Speaker 4: the flag. The current secretary of state, a radical leftist Democrat,
- 8:12Speaker 4: was behind the redesign of the state flag of Minnesota
- 8:17Speaker 4: so that it now resembles the Somalian flag. It's a
- 8:21Speaker 4: flag that resembles the Somali flag.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Hold it. Did they succeed?
- 8:29Speaker 4: Yes, by one vote. They did. And that's, I think,
- 8:32Speaker 4: largely why this guy's running. He's saying if your current
- 8:36Speaker 4: secretary of state wants to redesign the Minnesota state flag
- 8:41Speaker 4: to make it look to resemble more of the Somalian flag,
- 8:44Speaker 4: look it up. I see.
- 8:46Speaker 2: It's funny. I'm kind of a state flag dork. I
- 8:49Speaker 2: think I know what a lot of them look like.
- 8:51Speaker 2: And I didn't really have a focus on Minnesotas. Put
- 8:55Speaker 2: your mic closer, Mike. You're going off mic there, Mark.
- 8:58Speaker 2: It's dark blue, then light blue. There's a little crescent
- 9:00Speaker 2: and a little star. Not a crescent, but a crescent.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Okay.
- 9:05Speaker 4: And it resembles the Somalian flag. And this is what
- 9:09Speaker 4: he means about everything is being changed by people coming
- 9:13Speaker 4: in from other states, other countries.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Dude, get out.
- 9:17Speaker 6: No.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Yes.
- 9:19Speaker 6: No.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Yes.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Dude, that is the Somali flag. I mean, what?
- 9:23Speaker 6: See?
- 9:24Speaker 4: That's what he's talking about, Mark. That's his message. And,
- 9:28Speaker 4: you know, the.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Somali flag is blue with a white star. The Minnesota
- 9:34Speaker 2: flag has some dark blue, some light blue and a
- 9:37Speaker 2: multi-pointed star. Okay, you keep talking while I find the
- 9:40Speaker 2: previous Minnesota flag and see what they changed.
- 9:44Speaker 4: I can just tell you, they changed the flag to
- 9:46Speaker 4: make it more familiar to Somalis. That's the point. It
- 9:50Speaker 4: was designed in a way, and I remember watching when
- 9:54Speaker 4: it unfolded in real time. And I interviewed Tad Jude recently.
- 10:00Speaker 4: on my show. If you missed it, you can go
- 10:01Speaker 4: to mikeonline.com and catch the interview. We'll have it posted
- 10:05Speaker 4: later today. But that's what he was saying. He was saying, look,
- 10:08Speaker 4: when they kind of voted this in the back rooms
- 10:11Speaker 4: of the halls of power of Minnesota, and it came
- 10:14Speaker 4: out of committee, and it won by one vote, He
- 10:17Speaker 4: said they changed their flag.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Well, there's the old one. And the old one is
- 10:21Speaker 2: just a blue flag with like a patch, a circle
- 10:23Speaker 2: in the middle. And if it says Minnesota and has
- 10:26Speaker 2: a picture of lakes and stuff and just looks kind
- 10:28Speaker 2: of like what a state flag ordinarily looks like. And
- 10:31Speaker 2: they darned if they didn't hijack it. I was looking
- 10:33Speaker 2: at the Wikipedia page. Conservative critics said that the flag
- 10:37Speaker 2: was made to look to resemble the Somali flag. And
- 10:40Speaker 2: defenders said that was purely coincidental.
- 10:43Speaker 4: Oh, yeah. Coincidental. Holy cow. It just happened to look
- 10:48Speaker 4: a little bit like Somalia. So anyway, so this guy does,
- 10:52Speaker 4: he comes forward with this great message, positive, uplifting, but
- 10:57Speaker 4: yet pointed, because he's making a point. You're changing our state,
- 11:01Speaker 4: and we're here. We've been here. We're going to be here.
- 11:05Speaker 4: So I loved it. I just thought, and everybody wants
- 11:09Speaker 4: a copy of that ad. If you want that spot,
- 11:11Speaker 4: if you text Minnesota, To my MyPillow text line, which
- 11:15Speaker 4: is 800-655-MIKE, we'll send you back the video of that
- 11:20Speaker 4: brilliant ad from Tad Jude, who's running for Secretary of State.
- 11:24Speaker 4: So Rachel Campos Duffy weighs in. She's one of the
- 11:27Speaker 4: Fox & Friends co-hosts.
- 11:29Speaker 3: On the weekend. And I like her. She's a neat lady.
- 11:31Speaker 4: I like Rachel a lot. She's like a nice lady.
- 11:33Speaker 4: She's the Transportation Secretary's wife, right?
- 11:37Speaker 3: Sean Duffy, yes.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Correct.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Here's what she wrote. This Minnesota campaign ad is quintessential Minnesota,
- 11:45Speaker 4: afraid to name the problem and speak truth clearly. Instead,
- 11:49Speaker 4: it's couched in nostalgia, leaves, hockey, a folksy voiceover. I
- 11:55Speaker 4: love that part, a folksy voiceover. She probably doesn't even
- 11:58Speaker 4: realize it's him. It's the candidate, Rachel. She thinks it's
- 12:02Speaker 4: some Hollywood actor. Precisely why Minnesota is in this mess,
- 12:06Speaker 4: she said. Oh, that's different, they say, as unassimilated Somalis
- 12:11Speaker 4: rob them blind and BLM burns their cities.
- 12:14Speaker 5: I know.
- 12:15Speaker 3: And then she concludes. She's not wrong.
- 12:16Speaker 4: She's not wrong, but she's wrong.
- 12:19Speaker 1: She is wrong.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Exactly. Right. Okay, good.
- 12:23Speaker 4: And then she concludes by saying, that said, Tad Jude
- 12:27Speaker 4: does seem like an authentically Minnesota nice guy.
- 12:29Speaker 6: Yes.
- 12:30Speaker 3: And that's what he's trying to be. Authentic and nice.
- 12:33Speaker 3: I mean, and I know.
- 12:35Speaker 4: Bingo.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Two things can be true at the same time. Rachel's instincts.
- 12:39Speaker 3: I get it. I mean, what would have made her happy?
- 12:41Speaker 2: I'm Ted Jude. These Somali bastards are coming for our children.
- 12:45Speaker 3: Hell no.
- 12:46Speaker 4: Get your guns.
- 12:47Speaker 3: I'm Ted Jude and I approve this message. I mean,
- 12:49Speaker 3: it's exhausting. It's exhausting.
- 12:52Speaker 4: She would have loved it. But you said something that's
- 12:56Speaker 4: so powerful, Mark. He's authentic and he's nice. And I
- 13:01Speaker 4: think Americans yearn for this again. I hope we can
- 13:05Speaker 4: get it back. Sometimes I wonder if there's any common
- 13:08Speaker 4: ground with people who embrace communism and political violence and
- 13:13Speaker 4: open borders. But but if we can just win at
- 13:15Speaker 4: the ballot box, maybe they'll pipe down.
- 13:18Speaker 2: And that's a lot of ways to win and being
- 13:20Speaker 2: aggressive and going out is one of them.
- 13:23Speaker 3: And that might be another.
- 13:24Speaker 2: There is another about two or three minute ad in
- 13:30Speaker 2: which a candidate sort of puts aside the nuts and
- 13:33Speaker 2: bolts and the sharp edges of the issues and paints
- 13:36Speaker 2: with pastels and gauze. And the people who love that
- 13:40Speaker 2: candidate love the ad. No, I'm talking about it all. No,
- 13:45Speaker 2: that would be James Tallarico. So he puts out this thing,
- 13:48Speaker 2: you know, this is an interesting Rorschach test.
- 13:51Speaker 3: We love Ted Jude.
- 13:52Speaker 2: He's a Republican and we love his ad and we
- 13:54Speaker 2: view it as a masterstroke of trying to sort of
- 13:56Speaker 2: go above the issues and just make people feel good
- 13:59Speaker 2: about him and about the state and the way in
- 14:01Speaker 2: which people are trying to change the state. The Tallarico
- 14:04Speaker 2: ad struck me as a complete disaster. PSYOP to distract
- 14:08Speaker 2: everybody from what a radical monster he is.
- 14:10Speaker 3: But of course, that's me.
- 14:11Speaker 2: That's my eyes. That's my take. Democrats are looking at
- 14:14Speaker 2: this ad and just just oozing over.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Just the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Because that's them. I guess it's the counterpart to that.
- 14:22Speaker 2: The only thing that I would say is that Tad
- 14:24Speaker 2: Jude in Minnesota is standing for things that are right,
- 14:28Speaker 2: and Tallarico is standing for things that are horrifically wrong.
- 14:31Speaker 2: But again, that's just me too. That's the way we
- 14:33Speaker 2: see it. That's the way we agree. It's an interesting
- 14:36Speaker 2: season for campaign ads.
- 14:37Speaker 4: And let's go back to Ohio for just a moment.
- 14:39Speaker 4: But first, let's talk about making a difference in the world.
- 14:42Speaker 4: Food for the Poor is one of our great partners
- 14:44Speaker 4: here at M & M Extras. We've traveled. Mark and
- 14:47Speaker 4: I have been to Guatemala. We've stood in communities. Hunger
- 14:50Speaker 4: is a daily reality there. We watch kids line up
- 14:53Speaker 4: for meals. I have a picture on my desk of
- 14:55Speaker 4: Mark cradling a young child in your arms. Lisa, your kid,
- 15:01Speaker 4: we were all there together. Food for the Poor has
- 15:03Speaker 4: been at this, Mark, for 44 years. They've delivered 4.7
- 15:07Speaker 4: billion meals. 4.7 billion with a B. Food for the Poor,
- 15:12Speaker 4: a beautiful Christian ministry. And we're so proud to be
- 15:14Speaker 4: partnering with them here on M & M Extra.
- 15:17Speaker 2: We are so deeply involved in how these people do business.
- 15:22Speaker 2: There are a lot of charities, a lot of people
- 15:23Speaker 2: fighting hunger in a lot of places. A lot of
- 15:25Speaker 2: people go, hey, we got problems in America. Indeed, and
- 15:27Speaker 2: contribute to things in America. But here in our hemisphere,
- 15:31Speaker 2: here there's poverty. Mike and I have seen poverty like
- 15:35Speaker 2: you will never see in America.
- 15:37Speaker 3: The poor in America have microwaves. This is poverty.
- 15:41Speaker 2: And to the degree that you got five bucks, 50 bucks,
- 15:44Speaker 2: 500 bucks, then we'll tell you exactly what to do
- 15:46Speaker 2: with it. It's a donation link. And then you just
- 15:48Speaker 2: whatever you got. We're enormously grateful. It brings the gospel
- 15:51Speaker 2: to people. It brings hope to people. It brings food
- 15:53Speaker 2: to people. It brings skill sets to people to show
- 15:55Speaker 2: them how to grow more of their own stuff so
- 15:57Speaker 2: that they don't have to look at their situation and say, hey,
- 16:00Speaker 2: let's immigrate to America. Having people prosper in their own land.
- 16:03Speaker 2: This is what you're about. When you text FFTP to 51555,
- 16:08Speaker 2: text FFTP as in food for the poor. FFTP to 51555.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Give what you can. We thank you. Mike thanks you.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Kids thank you. Food for the Poor thanks you. And
- 16:18Speaker 2: you're really doing something great.
- 16:19Speaker 3: So thank you.
- 16:19Speaker 4: And I thank everybody who's reaching out to Relief Factor.
- 16:22Speaker 4: I mean, rather than just us tell you about how
- 16:25Speaker 4: great Relief Factor is, let me share with you Thomas's story,
- 16:28Speaker 4: one of our satisfied customers. Thomas said he wasn't about
- 16:31Speaker 4: to try another supplement for his back pain. But after
- 16:35Speaker 4: years of worsening discomfort, he finally gave Relief Factor a chance.
- 16:39Speaker 4: Now at age 73, he's got his life back. He's walking.
- 16:42Speaker 4: He's talking. He's hiking. He's talking, obviously. He's hiking, riding
- 16:44Speaker 4: his Harley, and sharing Relief Factor with everyone he meets.
- 16:47Speaker 4: That's what Mark and I do. We love telling you
- 16:49Speaker 4: about Relief Factor. The three-week quick start, Mark, it's a
- 16:53Speaker 4: little unconventional. They lose money on this deal. It's only
- 16:56Speaker 4: $ 17. 76 in honor of America's 250th. to celebrate the chance
- 17:02Speaker 4: to you to get into pain-free living. Now, they lose
- 17:04Speaker 4: money on that low-cost three-week quick start, but they know
- 17:07Speaker 4: how many people fall in love with the product, and
- 17:10Speaker 4: then they stick with it, and you'll pay a little more.
- 17:12Speaker 4: But you know what? It's worth it because it's pain-free
- 17:14Speaker 4: living that's 100% drug-free.
- 17:17Speaker 2: And that's what happened to me is because I did
- 17:19Speaker 2: the starter pack. I said, OK, let's see if this works,
- 17:21Speaker 2: see if it'll kind of help my shoulder rotator cuff thing.
- 17:23Speaker 2: And when it did, I thought, well, OK, I am
- 17:25Speaker 2: on board. And then I also discovered like an unexpected benefit.
- 17:28Speaker 2: I thought, you know, there's that little achiness. when you
- 17:31Speaker 2: first get up in the morning when you're 68 years old,
- 17:33Speaker 2: and that went away too.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Really?

- 17:45Speaker 2: you'll find pain relief. So many people have. Join the

- 17:52Speaker 4: Okay, the Vivek Ramaswamy commercial, the campaign ad, really, really
- 17:57Speaker 4: hit the fan yesterday. It was all over the place.
- 18:00Speaker 4: And they're doubling down. Vivek said, yeah, it's our ad.
- 18:03Speaker 4: The mother wanted to tell the world that her daughter
- 18:06Speaker 4: is a liar and can't be trusted and has some
- 18:08Speaker 4: mental health problems. And, you know, who are we to
- 18:11Speaker 4: get in her way? She wants to tell the story.
- 18:14Speaker 4: I want to share with you, Mark, Megyn Kelly's breakdown
- 18:17Speaker 4: of this all because she appeared on the Ruthless podcast yesterday.
- 18:20Speaker 4: And let's bring in some of our fellow podcasters into
- 18:23Speaker 4: our conversation today at M & M Extra. The Ruthless
- 18:26Speaker 4: podcast has become a real popular podcast. Megan, of course,
- 18:29Speaker 4: has a popular podcast. So she appeared with the Ruthless guys.
- 18:32Speaker 4: And let's play this because it's a pretty, I don't know,
- 18:39Speaker 4: edgy way of analyzing this battle between Amy Acton and
- 18:44Speaker 4: Vivek Ramaswamy.
- 18:46Speaker 7: This does not seem like a stable person to me.
- 18:48Speaker 7: In August of 2019, police in Bexley, Ohio, responded to
- 18:52Speaker 7: a report of a domestic dispute at her home. And
- 18:54Speaker 7: she pulled a mirror off of a wall, shattering the
- 18:58Speaker 7: glass when she became upset. Those are in quotes because
- 19:01Speaker 7: she felt her husband, quote, was antagonizing her, according to
- 19:04Speaker 7: a police report. She told officers she had been drinking.
- 19:08Speaker 4: She had taken an unknown amount of.
- 19:09Speaker 7: Prescription drugs and was about to drive away in her
- 19:12Speaker 7: car before her husband, who also told police he'd been drinking,
- 19:16Speaker 7: talked her out of it. She says she's a doctor,
- 19:19Speaker 7: but she never actually treated patients. So she seems to
- 19:22Speaker 7: be the kind of doctor that El-Sayed is. She couldn't
- 19:26Speaker 7: make it through the COVID pandemic. She resigned during the
- 19:29Speaker 7: middle of that pandemic. apparently like unable to handle the
- 19:31Speaker 7: stress of it, though she claimed she objected to the way.
- 19:34Speaker 3: He was handling it.
- 19:35Speaker 7: What I've seen is a woman who will not allow
- 19:38Speaker 7: cameras at any of her campaign events. What candidate doesn't
- 19:43Speaker 7: allow cameras at your campaign event? A woman who has
- 19:47Speaker 7: refused steadily to debate himself.
- 19:50Speaker 6: Him?
- 19:50Speaker 8: My name is Donna Arthur and I'm Amy Acton's mother.
- 19:54Speaker 8: I love my daughter, but when I saw her lying
- 19:57Speaker 8: about her opponent, it's not easy for a mother to
- 20:01Speaker 8: say this, but Amy has a serious problem. She is
- 20:05Speaker 8: a liar. She lies about her past. She's lied her
- 20:10Speaker 8: entire life. My daughter needs help. If you think she'll
- 20:14Speaker 8: make your life better, you're fooling yourself.
- 20:17Speaker 4: It will only get worse. But two things.
- 20:20Speaker 7: Number one, this is not the first time that this
- 20:23Speaker 7: has happened. Her mother came forward and made these same comments.
- 20:28Speaker 7: The mother came out back then to say, don't believe her. Okay,
- 20:32Speaker 7: so this is not the first time the mother has
- 20:34Speaker 7: tried to make a thing out of the daughter's alleged
- 20:37Speaker 7: sketchy history. Listen to this via Ohio News. Police responded
- 20:41Speaker 7: to the Bexley home of Democrat gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton.
- 20:45Speaker 7: According to a police report, the daughter apparently did not
- 20:48Speaker 7: like this. This is in quotes from the police report.
- 20:50Speaker 7: Thought her parents were going to get into some type
- 20:52Speaker 7: of altercation, end quote. So here you have what looks
- 20:56Speaker 7: to me like an unstable person. Amy Acton claimed that
- 21:02Speaker 7: some very dangerous man confronted her at a campaign event.
- 21:06Speaker 7: All right, here's the incident in which her life was
- 21:08Speaker 7: potentially in danger.
- 21:09Speaker 4: Okay, that's it.
- 21:20Speaker 7: For the listening audience, he's nowhere near her. This person
- 21:22Speaker 7: wants to be governor, not once, but twice. Now she
- 21:25Speaker 7: has the fake felony at her campaign event, which is
- 21:29Speaker 7: not real. There's this, the lies and hysteria around COVID.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Watch.
- 21:36Speaker 6: This is a war on a silent enemy. I don't
- 21:40Speaker 6: want you to be afraid. I am not afraid. All
- 21:44Speaker 6: of us are going to have to sacrifice. You're heroic
- 21:48Speaker 6: when you stay at home. And watch your neighbor who's
- 21:51Speaker 6: a nurse's child. Everyone is being heroic right now. So
- 21:55Speaker 6: she doesn't sound like someone who takes an unknown amount
- 21:57Speaker 6: of prescription medication and drinks. Right.
- 22:01Speaker 7: This is September of 2025.
- 22:03Speaker 6: Watch.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Well, you were the first to shut down the schools, right?
- 22:09Speaker 6: Well, we were the very first to take action following
- 22:12Speaker 6: George W. Bush's pandemic playbook, the one that had gone
- 22:15Speaker 6: from president to president. Because pandemic, not only did we
- 22:19Speaker 6: lose more people than all wars combined, it's actually a
- 22:21Speaker 6: grave security risk. As you know, the economy completely crashed
- 22:25Speaker 6: before a single order was written. But in those early days,
- 22:28Speaker 6: the mortality rate was 50%.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 22:30Speaker 5: Yeah. 50%.
- 22:33Speaker 3: That's a lie.
- 22:38Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a lie, all right. There was never a 50%. Now, Mark,
- 22:42Speaker 4: this is hard because I don't want to get personal
- 22:45Speaker 4: in a time when I'm celebrating Tad Jude's Morning in
- 22:49Speaker 4: America ad.
- 22:50Speaker 3: Of course, exactly.
- 22:51Speaker 4: But does that woman not sound like a kook to
- 22:54Speaker 4: you every time she talks? Doesn't it sound like something's off?
- 22:58Speaker 2: She absolutely does. And every once in a while, you'll
- 23:01Speaker 2: have candidates who will do this And there'll be something
- 23:04Speaker 2: they'll have on the plus side. There'll be some redeeming
- 23:08Speaker 2: attribute that they have that where people will take a
- 23:11Speaker 2: look at that and go, well, maybe she's quirky, but
- 23:13Speaker 2: I really like her policies or I really like her
- 23:15Speaker 2: resume or I really like something else. I don't know
- 23:18Speaker 2: what there is to like here. I don't know what
- 23:19Speaker 2: there is to like very much about Annie Andrews in
- 23:22Speaker 2: South Carolina. I just I mean, I don't know. I
- 23:27Speaker 2: just it's stories like these and snapshots like these and
- 23:30Speaker 2: clips like these. that make me think that there are
- 23:33Speaker 2: a couple of reasons why 13 Days From Now could.
- 23:35Speaker 3: Go well for us.
- 23:36Speaker 2: One is the power of our positive message, and the
- 23:39Speaker 2: other is how absolutely flawed so many of these candidates
- 23:42Speaker 2: are on the other side.
- 23:43Speaker 4: Okay, but let's look at the pushback that Republicans and
- 23:48Speaker 4: conservatives gave Vivek Ramaswamy. There's a backstory here, because there's
- 23:53Speaker 4: a lot of drama surrounding the Vivek candidacy. They claim
- 23:58Speaker 4: he's a Tucker creation. So if you don't like Tucker Carlson,
- 24:02Speaker 4: you're not going to like Vivek Ramaswamy.
- 24:04Speaker 3: Well, what does that even mean?
- 24:06Speaker 4: Well, Dana Lash, I saw her go on about this
- 24:09Speaker 4: on social media yesterday. She said, make no mistake. Vivek
- 24:14Speaker 4: Ramaswamy is the creation of Tucker Carlson. And so Dana
- 24:19Speaker 4: goes on to blast Vivek for this ad. Well, is
- 24:23Speaker 4: that helpful? I mean, I like Dana too. The primaries
- 24:27Speaker 4: are over.
- 24:28Speaker 3: Ohio needs a Republican governor. What are you doing?
- 24:31Speaker 4: Let me finish. Jason Rance, who's normally a reliable conservative
- 24:35Speaker 4: out of Seattle, he's now saying this ad proves that
- 24:39Speaker 4: Vivek is not fit to serve. What the hell are
- 24:44Speaker 4: you talking about? One ugly ad. And I admit it's ugly.
- 24:48Speaker 4: The whole story is ugly. The family history is ugly.
- 24:51Speaker 4: One ad makes Vivek. So you think this woman is
- 24:55Speaker 4: fit to serve? Exactly.
- 24:56Speaker 2: So an ad you don't like means that Ohio needs
- 24:59Speaker 2: to have this crazy person as governor. That is just.
- 25:03Speaker 3: Completely unhinged logic. These irrelevancies, these sideshows. that people are
- 25:09Speaker 3: obsessing over are toxic.
- 25:12Speaker 4: Well, would you ever think that Jason Rance or Dana
- 25:16Speaker 4: Lash would use unhinged logic? And then finally, here's the
- 25:21Speaker 4: coup de grace. This will shock you. I know you
- 25:23Speaker 4: didn't see this one coming. The National Review condemned Vivek Ramaswamy.
- 25:30Speaker 4: They went from the never Trump issue of the 2016
- 25:33Speaker 4: campaign to now, I guess they're on board with this lady.
- 25:37Speaker 4: So I guess I'm asking you what you just said,
- 25:42Speaker 4: and I got to reiterate it. That's not helpful. Do
- 25:45Speaker 4: you want the Democrats to win or not? And I
- 25:48Speaker 4: guess they do. I guess they do.
- 25:51Speaker 3: It's funny.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Here in Texas, we talk about the Cornyn factor who
- 25:53Speaker 2: definitely wants Paxton to lose so that he can say,
- 25:56Speaker 2: I told you so. But I don't know what the
- 25:57Speaker 2: I told you so is for talk show personalities who
- 26:00Speaker 2: suddenly seem to be in the tank for helping a
- 26:03Speaker 2: Democrat beat Vivek Ramaswamy. And as far as the whole
- 26:06Speaker 2: Tucker creation, did Tucker probably have him on the show
- 26:09Speaker 2: a dozen times back when Tucker was sane and had
- 26:12Speaker 2: a show?
- 26:13Speaker 6: Sure.
- 26:15Speaker 2: And I know that Tucker is in orbit around Neptune now,
- 26:17Speaker 2: but I don't hold that against him personally. from five
- 26:20Speaker 2: or six years ago, and I think Vivek is pretty awesome.
- 26:23Speaker 2: I think he made a pretty decent presidential candidate, never
- 26:25Speaker 2: had any chance, but I pretty well like him. Every
- 26:28Speaker 2: time he's on, I kind of look at him and
- 26:30Speaker 2: I nod and I go, dude makes.
- 26:31Speaker 4: A lot of sense.
- 26:31Speaker 3: I like Vivek.
- 26:33Speaker 4: All right. I want to end. I've had a little
- 26:35Speaker 4: couple of blood pressure issues going on. They gave me
- 26:38Speaker 4: blood pressure medicine as part of my sort of heart
- 26:42Speaker 4: disease thing I'm dealing with, and it's too low. Which
- 26:46Speaker 4: I thought, that ain't good. Well, my doctor's friend went faint.
- 26:49Speaker 4: 30 over 10. Well, last night it was 90 over 70.
- 26:53Speaker 4: And it's supposed to be like 115.
- 26:55Speaker 3: 120 over 80. Yeah.
- 26:57Speaker 4: Is that the perfect blood pressure?
- 26:59Speaker 2: I think so. 120 over 80 is, you know, kind
- 27:01Speaker 2: of the... I think it changed everything and everything I.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Know is wrong.
- 27:03Speaker 4: So with this new blood pressure medicine they're giving me,
- 27:06Speaker 4: because mine was slightly higher. It was 130, 135. So
- 27:09Speaker 4: now it's like stays at about 104, 105. And he
- 27:10Speaker 4: wants it to get... Anyway... I've got a natural way
- 27:15Speaker 4: to raise my blood pressure. I'm going to play a
- 27:17Speaker 4: clip because we missed it yesterday. And I love going
- 27:21Speaker 4: a little blue on the podcast. I want to play
- 27:25Speaker 4: this bastard Tom Tillis. Oh, gotcha. He is a bastard.
- 27:29Speaker 4: But look, there's nothing dastardly about saving lives the pre-born way.
- 27:35Speaker 4: And I was just talking to Michelle Portner from our
- 27:38Speaker 4: Salem team this morning. She said, you guys... Your podcast
- 27:42Speaker 4: audience donated over $ 30, 000 to get a couple of ultrasound machines. Yes,
- 27:46Speaker 4: they did. This summer marks three years since the Dobbs
- 27:49Speaker 4: decision overturning Roe v.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Wade.
- 27:51Speaker 4: But the grim reality is that the total number of
- 27:53Speaker 4: abortions every year has only increased. That's why Preborn has
- 27:57Speaker 4: come up with a brilliant way to save lives. They're
- 28:00Speaker 4: giving free ultrasounds to girls and women. When a young
- 28:02Speaker 4: woman sees her baby and hears her baby's heartbeat, it
- 28:05Speaker 4: doubles the chance that she'll choose life. Mark, just $ 28
- 28:09Speaker 4: a month will help save a baby a month. Less
- 28:11Speaker 4: than a dollar a day.
- 28:13Speaker 2: These are the kinds of things that people can do
- 28:14Speaker 2: in their daily lives to just go. Obviously, there are
- 28:18Speaker 2: a lot of charities that want a lot of things
- 28:20Speaker 2: from you. And we'll certainly tell you about some when
- 28:22Speaker 2: they mean something to us. And this one means something
- 28:24Speaker 2: to us because if you say you're pro-life, speaking those
- 28:28Speaker 2: things and walking that walk and talking that talk are
- 28:30Speaker 2: all important. But with with what are it's biblical that
- 28:35Speaker 2: are whether where our fortune goes is where our heart goes.
- 28:37Speaker 2: So if you've got one hundred and forty dollars, you
- 28:40Speaker 2: can help give five mothers a free ultrasound and save babies.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Two hundred eighty ten babies. As Mike just said, twenty
- 28:46Speaker 2: eight dollars a month can help save a baby a
- 28:48Speaker 2: month for less than a dollar a day. And of course,
- 28:50Speaker 2: if you do happen to have 15 grand, that's an
- 28:52Speaker 2: entire ultrasound machine. And we managed to scare up.
- 28:55Speaker 3: Two of those. So we're just so very, very grateful.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Whatever you have, all of it goes to 833-850-BABY, 833-850-BABY,
- 29:03Speaker 2: or go to preborn.com slash mm extra. We're trying to
- 29:06Speaker 2: get free ultrasounds for women so they can see the
- 29:09Speaker 2: life growing inside them. and choose to save that life.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Preborn.com slash MMExtra.
- 29:15Speaker 4: I leave you with retiring Republican Senator Tom Tillis from
- 29:19Speaker 4: North Carolina. This is my natural blood pressure increaser. When
- 29:23Speaker 4: your blood pressure is low, play this.
- 29:26Speaker 3: When the bulls * * t.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Becomes policy that's problematic, you get this November, this thing
- 29:32Speaker 2: that's going to happen 20 days from now, which I
- 29:34Speaker 2: have on my countdown clock as whoop-ass.
- 29:39Speaker 3: Who's it? I got to say that. Well, because, I mean, again,
- 29:44Speaker 3: it's right there.
- 29:48Speaker 4: Where?
- 29:49Speaker 3: There you go. Whoop-ass on the calendar. Yeah, 20 days whoop-ass.
- 29:52Speaker 3: I mean, we've got to be realistic about it.
- 29:55Speaker 2: I mean, what a bastard. Bragging about it. Bragging about it.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Can't wait to see Republicans. And if everybody wondering why
- 30:02Speaker 2: a Republican would wish Republicans ill is because it's a
- 30:05Speaker 2: different kind of Republicans in the Trump era, the MAGA era,
- 30:08Speaker 2: the emboldened, empowered, more muscular conservatism. These old weasels can't
- 30:13Speaker 2: stand that the party has left them behind. And that's
- 30:16Speaker 2: their sour grapes.
- 30:17Speaker 3: That's it.
- 30:17Speaker 4: That's all it is. And no sour grapes for us.
- 30:20Speaker 4: We're having a great Wednesday. Hope you are, too. We're
- 30:23Speaker 4: going to do a– I want to do a Christmas holiday–
- 30:26Speaker 4: we had a lot of views for.
- 30:27Speaker 2: The– Everybody loved the Halloween Thanksgiving edition.
- 30:31Speaker 1: They did.
- 30:31Speaker 2: And you hit me with this this morning as I thought, okay,
- 30:33Speaker 2: because I thought we would do– we did Halloween because
- 30:36Speaker 2: it's October already and Thanksgiving's next month.
- 30:39Speaker 3: I thought we'd knock out Christmas. Maybe you're on Thanksgiving.
- 30:41Speaker 6: Nope.
- 30:42Speaker 3: You're ready to do Christmas right now. And if you're ready,
- 30:45Speaker 3: doggone it.
- 30:45Speaker 1: I'm ready.
- 30:46Speaker 4: Cause we need a little Christmas right this very moment.
- 30:49Speaker 4: All right. See you tomorrow. Thanks for joining us. Have
- 30:52Speaker 4: a great Wednesday, everybody. Glad you tuned in.
- 30:54Speaker 5: Love you.
