Transcript
- 0:24Welcome in to Real Biz.
- 0:26I am your host Bubba Starts, and with me today, youth educator and sync pro, Gallo Lochness.
- 0:32Gallo, welcome to the show, brother.
- 0:33Yeah.
- 0:34Thanks for having me on, man.
- 0:35I'm excited.
- 0:36I'm excited.
- 0:37Yeah.
- 0:38This one's gonna be a fun one because we're digging into something on this platform that I
- 0:42care a lot about.
- 0:43It's the music world.
- 0:44It's sync licensing.
- 0:45It's helping young artists, do what, it has struggle for a a lot of musicians and and
- 0:54people in the business to really get a hold of, which is how do you make money in the music
- 0:59business.
- 1:00But before we get into all that and really dive deep on everything you're doing right now, one
- 1:05of established a little bit of your backstory and kinda give you the floor, to to give us
- 1:10some of that.
- 1:11So we'll pick it up from there.
- 1:13Yeah.
- 1:13Absolutely.
- 1:14Gallo Lochniz.
- 1:15I'm a music producer.
- 1:17I'm an artist.
- 1:18I'm a songwriter.
- 1:19I'm a a mixing engineer.
- 1:21I'm a mastering engineer.
- 1:22I'm a youth educator.
- 1:24I'm an entrepreneur.
- 1:26Yeah, man.
- 1:26I do I try to do a little bit of it all.
- 1:28That's why the website is called gallowsworld.com.
- 1:31You know what I mean?
- 1:32It's a lot going on, but it all, you know, connects.
- 1:37Yeah.
- 1:37I've been doing it for a while.
- 1:38I've been doing single licensing maybe about six years now.
- 1:42I've got placements on ESPN, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, on a on a few shows, networks,
- 1:50Netflix, Peacock.
- 1:52I mean, anything you could think of pretty much been on.
- 1:55I'm on a lot of cooking shows for some reason, and I I really don't like going in the kitchen,
- 1:59but I'm on tons of cooking shows.
- 2:01So I don't know.
- 2:02Figure that one out.
- 2:03But, yeah, this is what I do.
- 2:05I love it.
- 2:05And then as of recently, I'm a youth educator, spent a lot of time with high school students,
- 2:11all the way up to adults.
- 2:12You know what mean?
- 2:13So the age range, pretty much from 14 to as long as you can go.
- 2:18You know what I mean?
- 2:19So I love it.
- 2:20I have a passion for teaching people.
- 2:22I have a passion for being a mentor, and that's that's Gallo all in a nutshell.
- 2:27You know?
- 2:30Yeah.
- 2:30And and we featured you on on the scene projects.
- 2:33We got to really dig into your music.
- 2:35You're a fantastic producer.
- 2:37But Thank I think for you as for a lot of us in the music industry, songwriters like ourselves,
- 2:43that it's easy to get burnt out in that world.
- 2:46And and you were very fortunate to find sync and to have some success in that world, And
- 2:52it's kind of put a a huge pause on, you know, what would be a typical artist career and
- 2:57performing live and, you know, creating merch and, like, that whole life that that so many of
- 3:02us live out there.
- 3:03But kinda describe to me kind of the early successes in sync that you had and and how that
- 3:11kind of took over in your artist career.
- 3:14Yeah.
- 3:14Ultimately, man, I went to I'll tell you the the the the point for me.
- 3:18I went on a European tour.
- 3:20Right?
- 3:20And, you know, it was a great experience.
- 3:23I loved it.
- 3:24But I didn't come home with a lot of money.
- 3:26Right?
- 3:27At that same time, I got one of my biggest placements was paid about $12,000.
- 3:33You know what I mean?
- 3:34And I didn't need to go anywhere for that.
- 3:36You know what I mean?
- 3:36They were not related.
- 3:38And it was like, you know what?
- 3:39I feel like it's cool to to to perform and I love that.
- 3:43Right?
- 3:43That dopamine and you know what I mean?
- 3:45Getting the excitement of people rocking with you and all that stuff.
- 3:48But listen, man, that that feeling of of that bank account filling up with 5 figures, you
- 3:53know what I'm saying, off of off of one track that I created and that I you know, that people
- 3:57love, that was just a that that was a a breaking point for me where it was like, yo,
- 4:03you know what?
- 4:04This makes more sense to kind of put more energy into.
- 4:08And there's very little overhead if there is any overhead at all.
- 4:13So, that was kind of the thing.
- 4:16And so I kind of slowly you know, broke away from the live performance stuff and putting out
- 4:22my own music where I was just kind of focusing on sync music and writing raps for shows and
- 4:28movies and commercials and producing, and then getting other people involved.
- 4:32You know what I mean?
- 4:32Collaborating and opening the minds of other people like, yeah, that's cool.
- 4:36You could be an artist and produce and sell your music on Beastars, or you can go over to
- 4:43sync, you know what I mean, and and and make way more money.
- 4:47You know what I mean?
- 4:48So, you know, it's once I realize how much money could be made and not for nothing, I'm
- 4:54getting more Shazam.
- 4:55So people are following me on my streams.
- 4:57People are, like, hearing me on music I'm excuse me.
- 5:00Hearing me on TV and like, yo, who's this guy?
- 5:02And now they're going over to my Spotify.
- 5:04They're going over to my Apple, and I'm still getting streams.
- 5:07I'm actually getting more streams as a sync artist than actual, you know, recording artist
- 5:11and stuff.
- 5:12So yeah.
- 5:12Yeah.
- 5:13Which is just a brilliant avenue to get there.
- 5:16One sync can be better than thousands of dollars spent on trying to drive people off of
- 5:21social media to your Spotify account.
- 5:22Yeah.
- 5:23Yep.
- 5:24Not only is it, you know, yes, you get paid, but the level of marketing that you're getting
- 5:30out of it Mhmm.
- 5:31At time is massive.
- 5:33I think it's so that, like and and moving into what you're doing now with the use, know,
- 5:40education, tech 25, everything you're doing on-site, online, all the stuff that you're
- 5:45doing is you're not keeping this to yourself.
- 5:47And and you were never like, oh, Gallo's gonna sit here in the studio, make all the money, and
- 5:52I'm not gonna share with you that knowledge.
- 5:54You've really been an open book from the get go, and that speaks to who you are.
- 5:58We've had a couple of conversations now.
- 6:00For sure.
- 6:01To know you, man.
- 6:02You're just a good dude.
- 6:03Right?
- 6:03And and I think that there's not enough of that in the music industry or at least there wasn't.
- 6:08I I feel like that culture is changing, because that rising tide raises all ships.
- 6:14Right?
- 6:14You never know when somebody that you helped out might get some big placement or or have a
- 6:19situation that now they might need a little bit more guidance or they might need a beat
- 6:23produced on there, And you actually, you know, kinda cash a check on the backside of that.
- 6:27Not that that's the the, you know, purpose for what you're doing, but you never know what all
- 6:31these relationships, what's going to come with that.
- 6:33Yeah.
- 6:34Absolutely.
- 6:34And you spoke on being an open book and not being a you know, so much not being a
- 6:39gatekeeper.
- 6:40Right?
- 6:41Very big on not being a gatekeeper.
- 6:43I've I've I've actually worked hard.
- 6:45Not only do I work hard to teach people, but if I feel people deserve deals, I will reach out
- 6:50to my connections and try to get them their own deals so that they can do their own work.
- 6:54They don't always have to go through me.
- 6:56You know what I mean?
- 6:56I want them especially if they're at that level.
- 6:58So anybody I work with, I'm I'm listen.
- 7:01I tell you, hey.
- 7:03You have an opportunity to get your own deals.
- 7:05Let's get you up to a level where where you can where you can do this on your own, and then I
- 7:10will make the connection, and then I don't have to be in the picture anymore.
- 7:13Now if we collab, that's cool, but ultimately, now you're making your own money.
- 7:17You're doing your own thing, and you're your own name and stuff.
- 7:20And, yeah, I do that a lot.
- 7:22I I I think over the past week, I think I I think I got, like, three people deals.
- 7:28You know what I mean?
- 7:29So, and I'm off I'm often trying to do that.
- 7:32And then myself, I've got two new deals with two because there's tons of companies in sync.
- 7:37So, I'm often signing contracts.
- 7:39I'm often looking at people's contracts for them and often holding meetings for other
- 7:44people so that they can make a living off of sync themselves.
- 7:46So yeah.
- 7:47Well and I think by the example that you're setting, these people that you're helping are
- 7:52inevitably going to help others as well.
- 7:54Right?
- 7:54And, like, teaching, you know, the the the teach a man to fish.
- 7:58Right?
- 7:58Like, look.
- 7:58I could do something for you, but I could also teach you.
- 8:02And then you can teach others once you know.
- 8:04And the effect on the lives that you're having for the music world is just incredible, man.
- 8:10I I think it's so awesome what you've been doing and building.
- 8:13Talk to me a little bit about Tech twenty five, and let's share something about them.
- 8:18Yeah.
- 8:18Tech twenty five is a a organization a nonprofit organization based out of Pittsburgh,
- 8:24Pennsylvania.
- 8:25They are a their main focus is to teach youth and adults to a skill, whether it's lighting,
- 8:34you know, live audio, DJing, music production, and and other production avenues to teach them
- 8:41the skills so that they can go out and get jobs.
- 8:44Right?
- 8:44So they can make money from those skills.
- 8:47Tech twenty five brought me on as a as a music producer, teacher, and also, a sync educator.
- 8:54So it's been beautiful, man.
- 8:56I've been learning.
- 8:56I've been learn I'm actually starting to learn to DJ myself, which is cool because I'm really
- 9:00excited about that.
- 9:02I'm learning live audio.
- 9:03We actually are going out to a Juneteenth gig, tomorrow, because today is Juneteenth.
- 9:09Right?
- 9:10Yeah.
- 9:10So we're going out to a Juneteenth gig tomorrow, and that's another thing that Tech
- 9:15twenty five does.
- 9:15If a if a if a community event is happening, they will make themselves available to provide
- 9:21the sound and provide you know, if they need a DJ, then we'll use one of our students to DJ
- 9:26the event, and the community doesn't have to pay for it.
- 9:29It's all free.
- 9:30You know what I mean?
- 9:30So yeah.
- 9:31Yeah.
- 9:32That's incredibly impactful on the community.
- 9:35I think it's really cool what what tech twenty five is.
- 9:38Appreciate you introducing us to the platform.
- 9:41Obviously, we're not in the, the same region and in the same location.
- 9:45That way, won't get a chance to work together often.
- 9:48But I I definitely look forward to getting a chance to work together.
- 9:51Yeah.
- 9:51Yeah.
- 9:52Not yet.
- 9:52We're we're working on doing things online.
- 9:54So we're looking to advance it into the online sector so that we could get more people
- 9:58involved.
- 9:59Of course, we love our community, Pittsburgh.
- 10:00Right?
- 10:01We love our Pittsburgh community, but we also know that there's a lot of value in expanding
- 10:06as well.
- 10:07So yeah.
- 10:08It's huge.
- 10:08It's huge what y'all are doing for the youth.
- 10:11So many people I mean, I got the bug as a teenager, right, where I was like, you know, I
- 10:16wanna be a rock star.
- 10:17Right?
- 10:17I wanna play music, and I wanna I wanna do this, and I wanna create.
- 10:20And and that fire inside of you, with age kinda fades.
- 10:25Right?
- 10:25Like, Gallo, if you did your European tour at 18, 19 years old, you'd probably never stop
- 10:31doing it.
- 10:31You put all your money into performing, but probably doing that is a little bit older, you
- 10:36know, older gentleman and coming in.
- 10:37Coming home with no money is just like, look.
- 10:40This ain't this ain't working, man.
- 10:41Like, I got a I got a family.
- 10:43I got I got kids to feed.
- 10:44I got whatever.
- 10:45Right?
- 10:45I I wanna build a life for myself.
- 10:46I can't do that by just going out and having experiences that aren't putting money back in
- 10:51my pocket.
- 10:52So it's it's really awesome that, like, you got to live a little bit of that life and then have
- 10:59the opportunity, in very short succession, right, to to have the experience and the
- 11:04success in sync to go, okay.
- 11:06There's a pivot that needs to happen here.
- 11:08And now you've used that pivot to change the lives of so many other people.
- 11:12Right?
- 11:13Like, I I haven't the only time I've ever made money in my life in music has been performing
- 11:17live.
- 11:17I've had to show up.
- 11:18I've had to set up.
- 11:19I've had to tear down.
- 11:20When you equate the hourly, I'm probably making, like, 7¢ an hour, right, of of that I
- 11:27get to do.
- 11:28But one sync placement on a song that, you know, I I got to create with my friends and and
- 11:33create that, one sync placement paying something on top of that would be mind blowing
- 11:37to me.
- 11:38Right?
- 11:38That would be that would open up a whole new world for me as well.
- 11:41So as someone who, is in music that I'm looking and going, man, I wanna work with Gallo.
- 11:47Right?
- 11:47Like, I'd I'd love to see a a 4 figure check.
- 11:51Hell, a 3 figure check-in
- 11:52my face.
- 11:53Yeah.
- 11:53Yeah.
- 11:54That I spent a lot of money creating and having a little bit of ROI on that would be massive.
- 11:59And you're able to help now, you know, hundreds and eventually thousands of people over the
- 12:04course of your life, man.
- 12:06I just find that incredibly inspiring.
- 12:08Thank you.
- 12:08Thank you, man.
- 12:09Bro, I love it, and I appreciate that a lot, man.
- 12:12I you know, one thing that I am learning, though, because I do make myself available, I'm
- 12:16I'm human.
- 12:17So I I'd say yes to so many people, and then, you know, I they end up waiting, and I feel bad
- 12:24for that.
- 12:24So that's one thing that I am trying to figure out as well is just, you know, work out the
- 12:29time management and working out a better schedule.
- 12:31But, you know, I am a father.
- 12:33You're right.
- 12:33I'm a I'm a youth educator.
- 12:35I'm a creative.
- 12:36You know what I mean?
- 12:36And just trying to, you know, make all of that work and all of that come together without
- 12:42being overwhelmed is something that I'm just working on.
- 12:45You know what I mean?
- 12:46So
- 12:46Yeah.
- 12:47Well and that's the challenge of this.
- 12:49And in much the same way that I am, when I started this podcast, it was very much of,
- 12:54like, I'm just gonna do interviews.
- 12:56And now it's expanded into you know, we have a a dozen or more shows.
- 13:00I'm supporting the other hosts.
- 13:02I'm creating.
- 13:02I'm producing.
- 13:03But I also need to make sure that, you know, I'm feeding my family as well.
- 13:07So it's finding that balance between, okay.
- 13:09Yes.
- 13:10We can help and we can mentor along and we can do a lot of those things and we can do the
- 13:14things that, you know, are making money.
- 13:16But where is that balance at?
- 13:17It's not that I wanna it's not that I wanna sacrifice one for the other.
- 13:21It's just finding that balance and then being able to help as many people as possible in this
- 13:27world and finding ways to do it one to many is something that gets talked about a lot in the,
- 13:32you know, coaching platform world and and what we're doing.
- 13:35So talk a little bit about, like, the online stuff that you're doing and being able to host
- 13:39some some groups and to teach at a high level, but not necessarily having to do it on a one to
- 13:45one basis.
- 13:46Yeah.
- 13:46Yeah.
- 13:46Yeah.
- 13:48It's fun, man.
- 13:49It's fun.
- 13:49You get to meet a lot of different people.
- 13:51Right?
- 13:51You get to meet I'm big on meeting people where they are.
- 13:55Right?
- 13:55So that's why one on one is a lot simpler because, like, I can adjust to, like, what you
- 14:01you know, where you are in in the process.
- 14:04With a group, it's like, alright.
- 14:06I want everybody to take from this, but sometimes it's a little bit harder because not
- 14:10everybody's at the same level.
- 14:12You know what I'm saying?
- 14:13So, that has been a little bit of challenging, but it's also been fun and, you know, it's also
- 14:19been dope because, you know, a lot a lot of people that come in so Tech twenty five markets
- 14:23it and I market it too.
- 14:25Right?
- 14:25And obviously, I market it to my people, but Tech twenty five markets it markets it to
- 14:30people that I don't know.
- 14:32You know what I'm saying?
- 14:32So I'll get people that have never heard of me and, you know, then I'll get to teach them and
- 14:38I'm like, wait a minute.
- 14:38This guy knows what he's talking about.
- 14:40You know what I'm saying?
- 14:41And then they'll come up to me and we'll we'll we'll start a relate you know, we'll start a
- 14:45conversation and before you know it, we have a relationship.
- 14:47Right?
- 14:47And then they're hitting me up and then I'm helping them with like, hey, you know, looking
- 14:51at their contracts or checking out a company that they they you know, that they're, you
- 14:56know, curious about, that they might wanna get with, their music, helping them with their
- 15:00music.
- 15:01So there's a lot that, comes with the group, and, and it's cool.
- 15:06It's it's it's cool.
- 15:07It is a lot more challenging because I I really do care.
- 15:11You know what I'm saying?
- 15:12So, like, I wanna make sure everybody that comes into that room leaves with something.
- 15:17And sometimes, you know, I'd at the same time, I just have to accept that, you know, I can't
- 15:24touch every person in the in that room the way I want to, but I will you know, it may take a
- 15:30little bit longer sometimes, or I I might, you know, inspire them in a way and I might not be
- 15:36able to see that.
- 15:37You know what I'm saying?
- 15:38So I'm learning to accept that because, again, that's new.
- 15:42Right?
- 15:42One zero one, you can see it.
- 15:43Right?
- 15:44When somebody gets hits that light bulb and it's like, oh, okay.
- 15:46Cool.
- 15:46You can see that.
- 15:47But when you got a group of people, you can't see everybody getting that light bulb at that
- 15:52time.
- 15:52You know what I'm saying?
- 15:53So yeah.
- 15:54But it's fun.
- 15:55I love it.
- 15:55I absolutely love it.
- 15:56And well, and you're gonna get better at this.
- 15:58Right?
- 15:58Like, you've learned all the other things in your in your life to do.
- 16:02You're gonna figure this out just like you figured all the rest of it out as well.
- 16:06You're gonna continue to get better at it.
- 16:07I know this is a relatively new adventure for you, what, two and a half months or so.
- 16:11Yeah.
- 16:12Oh, yeah.
- 16:12Kinda stepping into that educator space.
- 16:14So a year from now, we're gonna come back.
- 16:16We're gonna have another conversation.
- 16:18We're gonna talk about all the things you learned in that, you're gonna continue to to
- 16:22keep sharing, with our community and putting it out there.
- 16:25Gallo, just to kind of establish a a little bit of the, you know, the success that you have
- 16:30had, what was your biggest placement, dollar wise?
- 16:35Dollar wise?
- 16:36Man, it's a I've had a lot of, let me see.
- 16:39I've had a lot of 5 figure placements.
- 16:43I've got a a few $12,000 ones.
- 16:47I wanna say I wanna say 17.
- 16:53I think I think it was 7 no.
- 16:56No.
- 16:56No.
- 16:56No.
- 16:56No.
- 16:56I got a $25,000 one.
- 16:58I got a $25,000 placement, and that was for a movie.
- 17:04That was a movie out in Germany.
- 17:07I can't remember the name of the Dame movie, but it was in German.
- 17:13It was cool.
- 17:14Worked with Charlie.
- 17:18The way I got that was I got in contact with the music supervisor.
- 17:21The music supervisor happened to be working on this movie, and, I did the music for it, and
- 17:27she was like, hey.
- 17:28They love it, but the director has some more requests.
- 17:31So the director came, I started talking to the director, and he was like, hey.
- 17:37I need you to do this and this and this.
- 17:38I'll pay you x x x x.
- 17:40You know what I mean?
- 17:41And it all equivolated to $25,000 in in in total.
- 17:45So, yeah, it was dope.
- 17:47It was it was six it was four tracks, and it was it was six no.
- 17:53It was three tracks.
- 17:54Wait.
- 17:546, 12, 18.
- 17:55Yeah.
- 17:55It was three tracks, and and that was for 18,000.
- 17:59And then it was another, all the adjustments.
- 18:02He was like, hey.
- 18:02I'll pay you another $6,000.
- 18:04And that that no.
- 18:057,000.
- 18:06And that that, came up to 25,000.
- 18:09Yeah.
- 18:11And and that's something that I feel like a lot of really talented producers and artists that
- 18:16are able to make them and no doubt that you know, I I know you're an artist.
- 18:20We we've heard you, you know, doing your thing there.
- 18:23But it is you're really the benefit in being able to produce your own music so that you can
- 18:28make adjustments.
- 18:30Yeah.
- 18:30Yeah.
- 18:31I mean, it's more work.
- 18:33So you know what I mean?
- 18:35There's it's, you know, it's bittersweet.
- 18:37Right?
- 18:37It's like, yeah.
- 18:38I'm a get paid, but I gotta work more.
- 18:39You know what I mean?
- 18:40But, but, you know man, I'm a be honest with you, man.
- 18:43Also, really dope thing is working with a producer that knows what they're doing.
- 18:47You know what mean?
- 18:48So, like, I can I can I am one of those producers, but I also work with other producers
- 18:54that know what they're doing?
- 18:55You know what I mean?
- 18:56And, that just amaze me sometimes.
- 18:58You know what I mean?
- 18:59I work with this one producer by the name of Jason Payne, and we've gotten tons of
- 19:03placements together.
- 19:05But I'll send I'll top line his music.
- 19:07And top lining means, you know, you add in vocals on top of the music.
- 19:10So, I'll top line the music, whatever.
- 19:12I have my vocals or whatever, and then I'll send them like maybe I'll send them a lead
- 19:16track.
- 19:17I'll send them a background track.
- 19:18I'll send them the, ad lib track, but with different energy.
- 19:23And he'll cut and paste certain parts of my vocals and added a different part to the track.
- 19:28It's just like you know, not every producer takes the time to do that.
- 19:31You know what I'm saying?
- 19:33And it and it's wonderful.
- 19:35And and and the end result is just amazing.
- 19:37And that's why we get so many placements because, you know, we take a little bit more
- 19:41time.
- 19:42You know, you produce it like you care, like you want to win, and and that's what it's
- 19:47about.
- 19:47So, yeah, being that type of producer it's cool that I make beats and I can do that, but I
- 19:52learned that over time.
- 19:53Like, yo, sometimes we gotta put four or five hours and suggest the beat.
- 19:57You know what I'm saying?
- 19:58And or the post production.
- 20:00You know what I'm saying?
- 20:01So, to make it work.
- 20:03Yeah.
- 20:03Well, and especially when you're talking about some of these placements for the NBA or or, you
- 20:08know, all these other time.
- 20:09I you're talking about massive, massive viewership.
- 20:12You can't be putting out garbage product, but the product is only part of it.
- 20:16And I feel like so much of your success has come from the relationships that you've built.
- 20:21Can you kinda talk about that side for for an artist that's looking to get in?
- 20:26Like, where do you build relationships?
- 20:28Who are you building relationships with that's actually going to help you?
- 20:31Yeah, man.
- 20:32So, ultimately, first and foremost, from the ground level I'll start from the bottom.
- 20:36From the ground level, you wanna build a relationship with a with a very talented
- 20:39producer.
- 20:40Right?
- 20:41Somebody that you can trust.
- 20:43Sometimes they may charge.
- 20:44Especially in the beginning, if they don't really know you, yo.
- 20:47Yeah, I might charge this much for beats and we can work together.
- 20:50But when you show up and you and and you're effective, you're you're you're, not only is it
- 20:56quantity, but it's it's quality and you're efficient with time and you're dependable,
- 21:01that's what matters the most.
- 21:03So they might send you like yesterday, I had a producer send me six beats and was like, yo, I
- 21:08need this done in like a week and a half.
- 21:10My line of people are going to be like, yo, what?
- 21:13But for me, that's that's that's first of all, that's the reputation I've I've created.
- 21:18Right?
- 21:18So I can do that.
- 21:19I can knock that out in in a week and a half.
- 21:22You know what I'm saying?
- 21:23So that's first and foremost, the producer.
- 21:25The second thing is, you know, maybe a library owner or a library curator or sync, ANR, you
- 21:32know, you wanna build a relationship with these people.
- 21:35You know, find out who they are.
- 21:36Find if you like a library and you see a library is active, find that person find out
- 21:41who the sync ANR is or the creative director is.
- 21:44Find them on LinkedIn, find them on IG.
- 21:47You know what I mean?
- 21:48Build with that person, see what they're what type of music they're working with.
- 21:52And if you make that type of music, build with that person, ask them, you know, maybe go to
- 21:56the library, see what type of music they don't have in the library that you're good at.
- 22:01Or reach out to them.
- 22:02Hey, I know I noticed you guys are getting on a lot of stuff.
- 22:05I see you guys work on this much.
- 22:07How can I help you?
- 22:08I also do this type of music, or what have you noticed that people are looking for?
- 22:13I, you know, I can create that type of music and help, you know, the library make more
- 22:18better relationships with other companies.
- 22:21Right?
- 22:22So again, being dependable, being assertive.
- 22:25Right?
- 22:25Just being on top of it.
- 22:27And then the next thing, of course, is music supervisors.
- 22:30Right?
- 22:30Music supervisors are the people that select the music.
- 22:33So if you are somebody that can actually reach a music supervisor, get the opportunity to get
- 22:40their attention, you wanna keep their attention.
- 22:42So you wanna send them everything that they that they want.
- 22:45Yeah.
- 22:46They want the music, but they want to make sure the paperwork is good, the split sheets, the
- 22:50the, everything's registered, the metadata.
- 22:53You you know, all of that is important.
- 22:55And on top of all of that, you have to be nice.
- 22:58You have to be kind.
- 23:00You have to be respect you know, respect respectable, respectful.
- 23:04Excuse me.
- 23:05You have to be respectful, to them.
- 23:07So, when you when you when you when you have all of those qualities and you're dependable
- 23:12and they know that they can rely on you, they'll continuously come to you and hit you
- 23:17up.
- 23:17I can't tell you how many so every day I get an email from a library owner or a supervisor.
- 23:23Hey.
- 23:23We're working on this.
- 23:24We're working on this show.
- 23:25Do you have anything for this?
- 23:27Hey.
- 23:27Can you knock this out?
- 23:28Hey.
- 23:28We got searches for this.
- 23:30We need a top line for this.
- 23:31Can you do that?
- 23:32You know what I mean?
- 23:32So it's all about building a reputation and being nice and being kind and dependable.
- 23:40Yeah.
- 23:41Absolutely love it, Gallo.
