- 0:19Speaker 1: It is time to leave your warriors outside and laugh
- 0:23Speaker 1: with us inside the Treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley, along with
- 0:27Speaker 1: Trey Trentholm and Raj Sharma. Today is Wednesday, April thirtieth,
- 0:32Speaker 1: two thy twenty five. On today's show, everyone talks about
- 0:38Speaker 1: the most popular baby names. Well, Trey has dug up
- 0:41Speaker 1: some of the rarest baby names and awesomely, the worst
- 0:49Speaker 1: busin escape you've ever heard of. That's today inside the
- 0:53Speaker 1: Treehouse and we start yes with this. All right, guys,
- 1:04Speaker 1: you did a payload stension here. This headline goes hard,
- 1:08Speaker 1: so I need you to brace yourselves. The San Antonio
- 1:13Speaker 1: funeral home mogul named Dick Tips is taking firms in
- 1:18Speaker 1: against his hoads, like a headline straight out of the
- 1:26Speaker 1: Onion or the Abalon Tree. But no, no, this is
- 1:29Speaker 1: a San Antonio Express News, an actual behind a paywall
- 1:35Speaker 1: news outlet. So some of the information I have in
- 1:38Speaker 1: this story is dark or murky. But can you believe
- 1:49Speaker 1: Dick Tips woke up one morning wooden hand and said,
- 1:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna build a funeral home empire. Very impressive. His
- 1:59Speaker 1: very full name is Robert Tips. Dick is his nickname,
- 2:02Speaker 1: and he's taking his h away head on.
- 2:08Speaker 2: No, I don't know a lot about white people nicknames.
- 2:10Speaker 2: But is it Robert, Bob and Richard Dick?
- 2:14Speaker 3: Yes?
- 2:15Speaker 2: Yes, Okay, so he picked I'm gonna say it, he
- 2:20Speaker 2: picked Dick.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Well, we don't know that Dick may have been thrust upon.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Him, you know, and he's an adult.
- 2:30Speaker 3: At any point you can change it.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Yeah, you can, you can say no, yeah too, that
- 2:36Speaker 1: nick tis.
- 2:39Speaker 2: I just want to know, like if they're being invited
- 2:40Speaker 2: to dinner and it's like, you know, you know, it's
- 2:42Speaker 2: a it's another couple, Like, hey, so who are we inviting?
- 2:45Speaker 2: You know, it's like we'll invite a few people. It's like, no, no,
- 2:48Speaker 2: just invite you know, just just the Tips. We wanted
- 2:53Speaker 2: to be intimate evening, just us in the Tips.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Look, if you didn't need more evidence that we're all
- 3:04Speaker 1: extremely childish, here for middle aged men.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Yep, exhibits A, B, and C.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Well, this is an actual story, believe it or not.
- 3:16Speaker 1: A funeral home mogul Robert Dick Tips is taking a
- 3:22Speaker 1: San Antonio homeowners association to court over its removal of
- 3:26Speaker 1: a billboard from property he owns. Mister Tips is the
- 3:32Speaker 1: chairman and CEO of Mission Park funeral chapels and cemeteries,
- 3:36Speaker 1: and he alleges one or more persons believed to have
- 3:39Speaker 1: been acting on behalf of, or in conspiracy with, the
- 3:42Speaker 1: Coronado Enclave Homeowners Association went on to his property and
- 3:46Speaker 1: unlawfully removed a sign. While mister Dick Tips doesn't know
- 3:52Speaker 1: who trespassed to remove the billboard, he says the association
- 3:55Speaker 1: and one of the five individual and one of the
- 3:58Speaker 1: five individual defendants are likely to have knowledge about what
- 4:02Speaker 1: happened to it. So here we have a big conspiracy
- 4:10Speaker 1: against mister Dick Tips. Look, I realized that career day
- 4:21Speaker 1: in school, there wasn't a funeral director in attendance to
- 4:25Speaker 1: talk to us about the profession, let alone becoming a
- 4:32Speaker 1: mogul in the industry. Maybe because they saw his name
- 4:38Speaker 1: and wouldn't let him in the school. I don't know,
- 4:43Speaker 1: but I will say this, if you really want to
- 4:46Speaker 1: get in the head. Damn it screw up my on punchline,
- 4:50Speaker 1: but I will say this, if you really want to
- 4:52Speaker 1: get ahead in life, I suggest cozying to Dick Tips
- 4:59Speaker 1: Dick Tips Funeral Home.
- 5:08Speaker 3: You know Dick had another business too. What's up? Uh?
- 5:15Speaker 3: During covid.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Uh.
- 5:17Speaker 4: He also became a meltman, and uh yeah, he had
- 5:23Speaker 4: to figure out, uh how to buy three thousand gallons
- 5:27Speaker 4: of milk. But then once he secured the load, he
- 5:30Speaker 4: printed a truck and brought it from Tyler to San Antonio,
- 5:36Speaker 4: drove it home.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Mm hmm, then he took it to the streets. There's
- 5:59Speaker 2: times I'm wondering if he started drinking again.
- 6:04Speaker 1: That's just how much the tree, That's just how much
- 6:06Speaker 1: fun the tree. Howse show is. It'll make your question,
- 6:11Speaker 1: it'll make your question a sober man, sobriety.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Just y'all think I'm making that up.
- 6:21Speaker 1: The link actually sounds very familiar.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Oh you're not kidding.
- 6:27Speaker 4: No, my apology.
- 6:37Speaker 1: My poor memory. I thought it sounded familiar like some
- 6:40Speaker 1: other news story that we had talked about that I
- 6:41Speaker 1: was having a hard time connecting the dots. But I
- 6:44Speaker 1: didn't want to be the only person to say I
- 6:45Speaker 1: don't get it. But now I do because you sent
- 6:50Speaker 1: the link. Thank you.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Tre It became a milkman from.

- 8:47Speaker 1: This is the Treehouse Show. I'm Daniel Malley along with
- 8:49Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. We were just commiserating about
- 8:53Speaker 1: the huge story out of San Antonio involving mister Dick Tips,
- 8:57Speaker 1: the funeral home mogul who is going to war with
- 9:02Speaker 1: his HOA over a billboard in his yard. You're right, Trey.
- 9:07Speaker 1: We really didn't even get into the actual story about
- 9:09Speaker 1: him going head to head with his hoa. But that's
- 9:11Speaker 1: really it. That's all we know because it's behind a
- 9:13Speaker 1: paywall like lots of things like that. But it's just
- 9:20Speaker 1: because he thinks someone stole a billboard out of his yard.
- 9:22Speaker 1: And now I don't know if that billboard was promoting
- 9:25Speaker 1: his funeral home business or his side hustle that he
- 9:30Speaker 1: started during the pandemic. Because Trey wasn't making it up.
- 9:35Speaker 1: He actually sent us the link to Dick Tip's side hustle. No,
- 9:41Speaker 1: I don't want the newsletter. Jesus Christ. I really hate
- 9:45Speaker 1: pop ups, from funeral services to food delivery. How Dick
- 9:50Speaker 1: Tips became San Antonio's new milkman. I can't believe it
- 9:59Speaker 1: says it, but it says it right here, newsfor San
- 10:02Speaker 1: Antonio dot Com. After securing the load, Dick Tips secured
- 10:09Speaker 1: a Highland milk truck, insured it under his name, of course,
- 10:13Speaker 1: and began taking to the streets. Oh man, good on him?
- 10:23Speaker 3: Is it?
- 10:26Speaker 7: You know?
- 10:26Speaker 1: He's spreading joy in the San Antonio community.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Let the Tips milk flow.
- 10:38Speaker 1: You're right, Raj, As a man whose actual name is
- 10:41Speaker 1: Robert Tips, getting the nickname that he has is strange
- 10:46Speaker 1: and kind of rare because you don't have a whole
- 10:49Speaker 1: lot of people going by that name these days. As
- 10:52Speaker 1: much as gen Z likes to do throwback things like
- 10:56Speaker 1: making mullets cool or the really gross, you know, pencil
- 11:00Speaker 1: thin mustaches with them and dressing like they're honestly our grandparents,
- 11:10Speaker 1: I haven't seen certain old school names come back into fashion,
- 11:14Speaker 1: Dick being one of them. I mean, that was a
- 11:16Speaker 1: very popular nickname for someone named Richard for many, many
- 11:19Speaker 1: years and it's fallen out of favor for obvious reasons,
- 11:24Speaker 1: you would think, so, I'm surprised they haven't embraced that one.
- 11:28Speaker 1: But there are some very interesting ones, Trey. You found
- 11:31Speaker 1: this because most people will discuss the popular baby names,
- 11:36Speaker 1: like the top baby names for boys and girls each year.
- 11:40Speaker 1: But you managed to dig up the list of the
- 11:43Speaker 1: rarest baby names.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Why. Some of them are quite entertaining.
- 11:50Speaker 1: That's all I needed to hear any examples, because the
- 11:53Speaker 1: list I mean you're talking about, it's the list you sent,
- 11:57Speaker 1: is from all fifty states and the District of Columbia
- 12:01Speaker 1: the least popular names. So I mean you're gonna get
- 12:05Speaker 1: some real randos here as far as baby names are concerned.
- 12:08Speaker 1: I mean, these are the kids that are going to
- 12:09Speaker 1: grow up to have some serious issues, I think, because
- 12:13Speaker 1: when you have a really rare name, it's probably really dumb.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Well you're gonna have to contend with that your entire life.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Arizona had a no name.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Let mean, look, he's not making that up, Roger. It
- 12:31Speaker 1: actually is the rarest name in Arizona. No name M
- 12:36Speaker 1: N O N A M E.
- 12:40Speaker 3: District of Columbia, meet clit.
- 12:42Speaker 1: I'm sorry, what me clit Oh, meet clit h. It's
- 12:48Speaker 1: actually worse than what I thought. I initially heard m
- 12:51Speaker 1: e k l i T m e k l i T.
- 12:54Speaker 1: It could be mechlett. Yeah, yeah, I guess we don't
- 12:59Speaker 1: know some of the pronunce siation on these, but yeah,
- 13:03Speaker 1: that that would be It would be an interesting first
- 13:06Speaker 1: day of class when the teachers going through the names,
- 13:08Speaker 1: trying to pronounce these and go like, I don't want
- 13:11Speaker 1: to say that one out loud.
- 13:13Speaker 4: RAJ will enjoy the next two because they're from Iowa
- 13:15Speaker 4: and Kansas.
- 13:16Speaker 3: So yeah, all right, let's see.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Iowa, the least popular baby name is Brex r e x.
- 13:25Speaker 3: This was the least popular. This was just the most unique.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Oh most unique, sorry Brex, all right.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:33Speaker 1: And Kansas is Macklin m A c k l y
- 13:37Speaker 1: N Well.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Of course, mm, that's just too many declan's gotta have. Yeah,
- 13:43Speaker 3: I have a Maclin m.
- 13:46Speaker 1: I like Louisiana's ryder r y d A.
- 13:52Speaker 3: Mainz is solid.
- 13:59Speaker 1: The most unique ab name out of Maine. Winner, Winner, Winner,
- 14:04Speaker 1: w I n n e R Winner.
- 14:07Speaker 2: That is, that's a lot of expectation to live up to.
- 14:11Speaker 2: There's a lot of myth in.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Maine just to let you know, well, now he's not
- 14:16Speaker 1: just lobster now used to be a meth winner.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Michigan.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Uh fat me f a T m E. I guess
- 14:30Speaker 1: it could be fat myth but a little baby fat God.
- 14:36Speaker 3: These are well, I mean, that's a.
- 14:38Speaker 2: That's A, that's a that's a Muslim name. Yeah, but
- 14:42Speaker 2: this is this is Yeah, you can spell it different
- 14:45Speaker 2: ways that you can put an h at the end
- 14:47Speaker 2: as well.
- 14:47Speaker 3: And it was Muslim. Yeah yeah, but.
- 14:50Speaker 2: I mean Michigan also has Deerborn, which is the highest
- 14:53Speaker 2: population of Muslims.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Michigan has the highest population of Muslims in the country.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Uh, Mississippi is a good one. Let's here it John Yisha.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:07Speaker 1: It's like it's like Keisha and John together j o
- 15:11Speaker 1: h n e I s h A or maybe it's
- 15:14Speaker 1: Joe Nisha, but it's j o Hnsel John Yisha. I
- 15:19Speaker 1: like that name, Okay, I too. Hey, look, New Hampshire
- 15:29Speaker 1: has my original name. I feel, I feel seen the
- 15:35Speaker 1: most unique baby name in New Hampshire is baby Boy.
- 15:39Speaker 1: That was my first name. That was the name I
- 15:42Speaker 1: was given either by my biological mother or the hospital
- 15:46Speaker 1: or the Oklahoma State Department of Healthy Human Services. On
- 15:50Speaker 1: my original birth certificate. My first name was just baby boy.
- 15:56Speaker 3: That's how I unwanted I was.
- 16:00Speaker 1: They might even bother kid on there.
- 16:03Speaker 2: They didn't bother to name you.
- 16:05Speaker 3: We're not keeping him. They know they were.
- 16:07Speaker 1: They were going to keep me. Why why bother?
- 16:09Speaker 3: Like baby boy? Here you go. Couldn't even get a
- 16:11Speaker 3: John Doe, not even a John Nisha.
- 16:18Speaker 1: That's pretty sad when you think about it. Last name's
- 16:25Speaker 1: Guffy though.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Supposedly baby boy Guffy.
- 16:29Speaker 1: That was my original birth certificate coming out of the
- 16:31Speaker 1: state of Oklahoma.
- 16:33Speaker 3: I like that man.
- 16:34Speaker 2: That sounds like an old, like nineteen twenties mobster. Like
- 16:37Speaker 2: you don't want to mess with old baby boy Guffy.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's twenty twenty five and I'm a forty
- 16:46Speaker 1: five year old man.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Baby boy Guffy, you know he knows dick tits.
- 16:52Speaker 1: They're old pals.
- 16:54Speaker 3: They called him the Milkman.

- 17:58Speaker 8: wanting to definitely you know, beef that up and start
- 18:02Speaker 8: giving back to the foundation. And it's unfortunately, this is
- 18:06Speaker 8: a foundation nobody wants to have to donate to. But
- 18:09Speaker 8: it's the real world is that these things do happen, and.
- 18:13Speaker 3: It's it's it's the type.
- 18:14Speaker 8: Of foundation that you don't want around, but you definitely
- 18:16Speaker 8: want it to be, you know, available.
- 18:18Speaker 3: To the families that need it.
- 18:20Speaker 8: And so over the next couple of months, you know,
- 18:23Speaker 8: a portion of all the proceeds from the work done
- 18:26Speaker 8: from Treehouse listeners that call in and let us know
- 18:28Speaker 8: that they heard about you on the show. We're going
- 18:30Speaker 8: to be donating to the RMS tree House Listeners Foundation
- 18:34Speaker 8: and making sure that we can keep that very stable
- 18:38Speaker 8: in the accounting side and have funds available that when
- 18:41Speaker 8: the families need it, it's going to be there.
- 18:44Speaker 3: So we're very.
- 18:45Speaker 8: Fortunate to be a part of the organization and we
- 18:48Speaker 8: look forward to try and assist and help it as
- 18:50Speaker 8: much as we can.

- 19:46Speaker 1: Daniel Malley along with Trey Trenholm and Rod Sharma. Today
- 19:49Speaker 1: is Wednesday, April thirtieth, twenty twenty five. We were just
- 19:53Speaker 1: talking about some of the rarest baby names state by state,
- 19:59Speaker 1: and I'm always fast NATed where some people come up
- 20:02Speaker 1: with the names for their children, because some are pretty
- 20:05Speaker 1: obvious mashup names like the one I said, Johnisha j
- 20:10Speaker 1: O h and John and then Esha. I mean that
- 20:12Speaker 1: can be like Keisha or whatever. So it's that one
- 20:15Speaker 1: seems pretty obvious as far as two names that have
- 20:17Speaker 1: been put together. And then there's other ones. There's another
- 20:21Speaker 1: one like that, the most unique name out of New Jersey,
- 20:23Speaker 1: Maria Edward, Like it's just all one word, it's not
- 20:26Speaker 1: a hyphen Maria m A R I A and then
- 20:29Speaker 1: Eduard E d U A R D. So, I mean,
- 20:31Speaker 1: some of these are just very obvious, just two names
- 20:33Speaker 1: slammed together. But like Raj, you and I were talking
- 20:36Speaker 1: about this during the break, m I, I don't know
- 20:40Speaker 1: where some of these names come from. Like they're not
- 20:42Speaker 1: so obvious like they just they seem purely made up.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Right.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I was I've always wondered, I think you
- 20:49Speaker 2: played for the Giants? Was Plaxico burs?
- 20:51Speaker 3: Yeah? The white said what?
- 20:53Speaker 2: Yeah, like, where did Plexico come from? Like that just
- 20:55Speaker 2: sounds like uh like equipment in the uh in the
- 20:59Speaker 2: delivery room, like there was something, there was something named
- 21:04Speaker 2: Plexico and she just kind of was giving birth and
- 21:06Speaker 2: is like that's the name.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Yeah, Oh, you're right. It's like if you can't think
- 21:09Speaker 1: of a name, what do you do? You just start
- 21:11Speaker 1: looking around the room to see what's available, what's around you.
- 21:15Speaker 1: And you're right, Plexico does sound like a like a
- 21:17Speaker 1: piece of medical equipment. Ah, let's name him Plexico IV birth.
- 21:27Speaker 3: His middle name is ventilator.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Better be happy she didn't see a colostomy bag when
- 21:33Speaker 1: they asked her. But it really does. I mean, like,
- 21:40Speaker 1: you wonder where some people come up with these names,
- 21:41Speaker 1: because they're they're completely unique and have no idea what
- 21:44Speaker 1: the inspiration is. That's a great example.
- 21:46Speaker 3: It makes sense.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Maybe some people are just looking around and that's how
- 21:48Speaker 1: you get a baby named John Deere or.
- 21:55Speaker 4: Like the key and Peel sketch you know. Yeah, that
- 21:58Speaker 4: was based on the name the brickishaw Ferguson.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:05Speaker 2: I remember seeing an interview with Keag and Michael Keane.
- 22:07Speaker 2: It's like that's a real name.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Draft.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I think they had him on the like the
- 22:15Speaker 2: second season when they did the names again, I think
- 22:17Speaker 2: they had him on. I think it was like and
- 22:21Speaker 2: at the end it's like Pat Smith Dyu.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Well, while this name is not unique, it is one
- 22:30Speaker 1: that you will remember. It's a story that I'm hoping
- 22:33Speaker 1: you remember. Australia's favorite fugitive has been caught. We first
- 22:39Speaker 1: told you about Valerie the Miniature docs in last month.
- 22:42Speaker 1: After almost eighteen months lost in the bush, this Wiener
- 22:47Speaker 1: dog is safe and sound. This is just outstanding news.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Remember Valerie the mini docks and who told you about
- 22:55Speaker 1: so it was about eighteen months ago she ran off
- 23:00Speaker 1: while she was tied up at the camp site that
- 23:04Speaker 1: her mommy and daddy had her at. She escaped from
- 23:07Speaker 1: her pen. She was on a camping trip with her
- 23:11Speaker 1: humans on Kangaroo Island and South Australia. November twenty twenty three.
- 23:16Speaker 1: She escaped from her pin and ran off into the bush.
- 23:19Speaker 1: They spent the rest of their week on the island,
- 23:21Speaker 1: searching desperately for Valerie the Wiener Dog. Her humans eventually
- 23:25Speaker 1: had to return to the mainland without her. They had
- 23:27Speaker 1: little hope that the tiny pup could have survived in
- 23:29Speaker 1: the wild, especially since she was such a princess at home.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Sightings of Valerie in March of this year confirmed that
- 23:37Speaker 1: she was indeed alive, but she proved very difficult to catch.
- 23:42Speaker 1: She avoided people and cars. She hadn't fallen for any
- 23:44Speaker 1: of the traps shut by the set by the Congala
- 23:47Speaker 1: Wildlife Rescue until now. The organization confirmed last Friday that
- 23:53Speaker 1: after an estimated one thousand volunteer hours, Valerie has been caught.
- 23:58Speaker 1: After weeks of tireless it's by volunteers and partner organizations,
- 24:02Speaker 1: She's been safely rescued and is fit and well. Absolutely
- 24:06Speaker 1: thrilled and deeply relieved that Valerie the docks and is
- 24:09Speaker 1: finally safe and able to begin her transition back to
- 24:13Speaker 1: her loving parents. So an outstanding story. Valerie the Wiener
- 24:17Speaker 1: Dog survives the Australian bush for almost eighteen months, and
- 24:23Speaker 1: we didn't expect a happy ending here, but we're really
- 24:26Speaker 1: glad we.
- 24:27Speaker 3: Got one m hmm, that's awesome.
- 24:29Speaker 2: When you said an Australian fugitive, I was like, oh,
- 24:31Speaker 2: they found my ex wife.
- 24:35Speaker 1: No, she's still in the looser she's a loose can.
- 24:39Speaker 3: She's in Brooklyn.
- 24:42Speaker 1: They've just kind of written that off at this point, Like,
- 24:45Speaker 1: but yeah, no, this is great news. I'm really I
- 24:48Speaker 1: am genuinely surprised. Look, I didn't think they'd ever find
- 24:51Speaker 1: this dog because all the effort that they went to
- 24:55Speaker 1: try to catch Valerie the wiener dog in the Australian
- 24:57Speaker 1: Outback on this island, she avoids all of them, making
- 25:01Speaker 1: you think, well, you know what, maybe she is indeed
- 25:03Speaker 1: just living her best life. She's loving life in the
- 25:08Speaker 1: Australian out back.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I wonder what, like, what do you what did
- 25:13Speaker 2: she What did she eat and what did she Where
- 25:15Speaker 2: did she get you know, water?
- 25:16Speaker 1: Like that's an interesting There were there were some reports
- 25:19Speaker 1: that some of the people that live on the island
- 25:21Speaker 1: were leaving out food and water, and that she would
- 25:23Speaker 1: occasionally be seen enjoying the kindness of strangers. Otherwise, it's
- 25:29Speaker 1: it's dog stuff. You're going around scavenging, finding stuff to
- 25:31Speaker 1: eat and drink where you can.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's the Australian outback, like there's stuff that
- 25:36Speaker 2: will eat that dog exactly.
- 25:38Speaker 1: That's why we're also surprised, and we weren't expecting to
- 25:40Speaker 1: get such a happy ending here.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Yeah, that's amazing.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Yeah. Also Funeral Home logal Dick Tips is also relieved.
- 25:52Speaker 7: I think they're going to start an advice columns.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Exactly. There it is.

- 27:01Speaker 1: I'm Dan, He's trade. That's RAJ. Today's Wednesday, April thirtieth,
- 27:04Speaker 1: two thousand and twenty five. When you hear prison escape,
- 27:11Speaker 1: you think about the famous ones like alcatraz Or, even
- 27:14Speaker 1: Andy Dufrayn in Shawshank Redemption an elaborate, painstaking plan.
- 27:20Speaker 3: But not this idiot.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Lucas Brown is back in custody following a whole thirty
- 27:25Speaker 1: five minute escape attempt from the Pueblo County Detention Center
- 27:29Speaker 1: in Pueblo, Colorado. How did this mastermind do it? He
- 27:33Speaker 1: just ran off two days before his release date.
- 27:39Speaker 3: Oh God, You.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Know how we say sometimes that we specialize in stupid
- 27:47Speaker 1: here on this show, Lucas Brown is the epitome of it.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Two days before his release he tries to escape and
- 28:01Speaker 1: it's not even a good escape. He was part of
- 28:04Speaker 1: the Kitchen Trustee program. He was taking out the trash
- 28:08Speaker 1: and just like I'm just gonna run now, this took
- 28:13Speaker 1: off running, lasted the whole thirty five minutes on his own,
- 28:16Speaker 1: out there free in the world. All he had to
- 28:19Speaker 1: do was wait two more days and he could have
- 28:20Speaker 1: done whatever he wanted and not not have been pursued
- 28:24Speaker 1: by police. Now he's back in Now he's back in jail.
- 28:28Speaker 1: He's no longer a kitchen trustee by the way, yes,
- 28:32Speaker 1: that makes sense, and he's gonna spend even longer in jail.
- 28:37Speaker 1: And this is not the first time he's done it either.
- 28:39Speaker 1: He's a he's a two time escape artist, which really
- 28:42Speaker 1: that's a real insult to escape artists somewhere.
- 28:50Speaker 3: David Blaine's like, f you.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Bro, I had to work at this. You just went
- 28:56Speaker 1: for a jog. But that's really that's that's what Lucas did.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Ran down the street for about half an hour.
- 29:06Speaker 3: He had a job lined up with dick tips. You
- 29:12Speaker 3: can stay in prison for that.
- 29:20Speaker 1: I imagine the pay is better over outside the prison though.
- 29:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Yeah, we had Uh, we had people in high school.
- 29:29Speaker 2: My high school graduating class was two ninety nine. Uh,
- 29:32Speaker 2: it ended up being two ninety five the day of
- 29:34Speaker 2: graduation because four people dropped out of high school the
- 29:37Speaker 2: day before graduation. What and they were yeah, and they
- 29:41Speaker 2: were going to graduate and they had made a pact
- 29:44Speaker 2: that they were not going to go to graduation. So
- 29:47Speaker 2: they dropped out of high school the day before.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Why what were they trying to make some sort of
- 29:52Speaker 1: a statement. What's the deal?
- 29:54Speaker 3: I don't know. Uh, they're just dumb, like that's all
- 29:58Speaker 3: I know. Uh.
- 29:59Speaker 2: They had to amend like the lineup because we're like,
- 30:02Speaker 2: we're now down to two ninety five instead of two
- 30:04Speaker 2: ninety nine. It was like, what happened? Four people dropped
- 30:06Speaker 2: out yesterday, So it's it's it's it's very much the
- 30:10Speaker 2: same as this guy.
- 30:12Speaker 1: You have two days left. Just stick around, yeah, sleep,
- 30:17Speaker 1: sleep in yeah really? Uh do you know where where
- 30:21Speaker 1: these dropouts are now?
- 30:23Speaker 3: No? God, No, Probably probably at the Broms Town East. Yeah, absolutely,
- 30:33Speaker 3: a down east.
- 30:35Speaker 1: We're probably running the sword store.
- 30:38Speaker 3: Don't give them that much credit.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Yeah, they're thriving, they're still they're still stalking it on topic. No,
- 30:50Speaker 1: but this is this is true. According to Pueblo Sheriff
- 30:53Speaker 1: David Lucero, the inmate was gone for about thirty five
- 30:55Speaker 1: minutes after walking out of the detention center. They confirmed
- 30:59Speaker 1: the inmate, identified as Lucas Brown, back in custody following
- 31:02Speaker 1: assistance from Pueblo police and locating him. According to the
- 31:06Speaker 1: Sheriff's office, inmates designated as kitchen trustees were cleaning up
- 31:10Speaker 1: for the night. Brown went to throw out the trash
- 31:12Speaker 1: and took off, running west of ninth Street. According to
- 31:17Speaker 1: Captain Don ballas a security captain at the Pueblo County
- 31:20Speaker 1: Detention Center, he worked in the kitchen since March thirty first,
- 31:23Speaker 1: so for twenty four days he's been working and never
- 31:26Speaker 1: had an issue. At the time of his escape, Brown
- 31:29Speaker 1: had just two days left on his sentence. The sheriff's
- 31:32Speaker 1: office said he was originally sentenced to ninety days for
- 31:35Speaker 1: criminal mischief. He now faces additional charges, will no longer
- 31:38Speaker 1: be released, and is also no longer a trustee. So
- 31:44Speaker 1: there you have it. Two days, two days left.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's when you just take off running down
- 31:51Speaker 2: the street and you think, like the sheriff was just
- 31:53Speaker 2: standing there watching him, like we can see you.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Like the only reason that lasted thirty five minutes is
- 32:03Speaker 1: because they just they just wanted to see how far
- 32:04Speaker 1: he could get before.
- 32:05Speaker 2: They're just calling other sheriffs out like, hey, come here
- 32:07Speaker 2: and watch this.
- 32:09Speaker 1: You guys gotta see this bro. They're like they're all
- 32:10Speaker 1: watching it on the on the traffic cameras. Look at
- 32:12Speaker 1: this idiogo. That's probably what it was. They're all taking
- 32:16Speaker 1: bets to see how long he can go before he
- 32:18Speaker 1: stops to walk a little bit.
- 32:20Speaker 3: He stopped at the red light.
- 32:27Speaker 1: They didn't even want to waste the dog on him,
- 32:30Speaker 1: you know what, just just let him tire himself out.
- 32:32Speaker 3: He'll he'll be back.
- 32:34Speaker 2: That would have been great had he done that and
- 32:36Speaker 2: just come right back like sorry, I didn't I'm out
- 32:39Speaker 2: of shape.
- 32:45Speaker 1: All the phone calls between departments with the county sheriffs
- 32:48Speaker 1: and the city. Please look at the idiot, Hey is
- 32:53Speaker 1: that Lucas?
- 32:54Speaker 3: It sure is.
- 32:56Speaker 1: He got out again.
- 32:57Speaker 3: They just they just gonna make it this time. Look
- 33:01Speaker 3: at that smile on his face. He's all full of hope.
- 33:05Speaker 2: I would have loved it some if like two of
- 33:06Speaker 2: the cops would have put like a like a police
- 33:09Speaker 2: tape up, like a finishing line and just have him
- 33:11Speaker 2: breakthrough it like you got it, buddy, No, no, no.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Spike st But but across.
- 33:17Speaker 4: I think the cops bothered. I think they were like,
- 33:21Speaker 4: let parking enforcement handle this one.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Throwing my bone.
- 33:28Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't ever get to taze anybody.

- 34:31Speaker 1: That's raj. Today is Wednesday, April thirtieth, twenty twenty five.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Let's celebrate today with some birthdays.
- 34:40Speaker 3: Oh, Lucas.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Travis Scott turns thirty four today. He's a rapper and
- 34:45Speaker 1: baby daddy to Kylie Jenner's daughter.
- 34:52Speaker 3: That's truly it.
- 34:54Speaker 1: He and Kylie dressed up as Marvel characters in twenty
- 34:56Speaker 1: nineteen to celebrate his birthday along with the release of Avengers.
- 34:59Speaker 1: In game, Kylie was Captain Marvel, Travis was iron Man,
- 35:02Speaker 1: and their baby was a tiny thorn. Oh, now we're
- 35:06Speaker 1: gonna get And this is Travis Scott, the one that
- 35:09Speaker 1: concerts have a tendency to lead to stampedes and bodily injury. Yes,
- 35:13Speaker 1: despite numerous warnings from local authorities.
- 35:17Speaker 3: Yes, I think it was in Houston. Yep.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Well, he's done it at a couple of them, but
- 35:21Speaker 1: Houston was a huge, huge problem. Yeah, and now he's
- 35:24Speaker 1: as casual to me.
- 35:25Speaker 3: I don't think.
- 35:26Speaker 1: I don't think anybody died, but it was like a
- 35:27Speaker 1: mass injury incident.
- 35:30Speaker 2: And now he's in the WWE with he's buddied up
- 35:34Speaker 2: with John Cena.
- 35:35Speaker 1: You know what, that makes total sense because once you've
- 35:38Speaker 1: done your training with the Kardashians, you're ready for Monday Night.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Raw I cracked myself out of other birthdays today, it's
- 35:52Speaker 1: actually a pretty exciting birthday day. Anna to Armis is
- 35:57Speaker 1: thirty seven today. Anna to Armis is thirty seven. She's
- 36:02Speaker 1: the Cuban Spanish actress who's starring in the upcoming John
- 36:06Speaker 1: Wick spin off Ballerina. Looks fantastic. She's also Marta in
- 36:11Speaker 1: Knives Out. If you guys haven't seen that Knives Out
- 36:13Speaker 1: to great movie. She was a bond girl in No
- 36:16Speaker 1: Time to Die, Joy in Blade Runner twenty forty nine,
- 36:19Speaker 1: and Marilyn Monroe in the movie Blonde. By the way,
- 36:23Speaker 1: she was also another movie with John Wick, So the
- 36:26Speaker 1: Ballerina movie, which is a John Wick spin off based
- 36:29Speaker 1: on the trailer that I saw a few weeks back.
- 36:32Speaker 1: John Wick Keanu Reeves has an appearance in that film
- 36:36Speaker 1: with an Armis. I forget what the name of the
- 36:39Speaker 1: movie was, but there was a film where she and
- 36:43Speaker 1: a girlfriend knock on the door of Keanu Reeves and
- 36:47Speaker 1: seduce him and get video of it, and blackmail and
- 36:50Speaker 1: and stuff. So this is not going to be Annada
- 36:53Speaker 1: Armis and Keanu Reeves first film together. So they've done
- 36:56Speaker 1: this before.
- 36:57Speaker 3: And I believe she's dating Tom Cruise.
- 37:00Speaker 1: I don't know. The last I heard she was. At
- 37:03Speaker 1: one point she was with Ben Affleck. After that that
- 37:07Speaker 1: was a couple of years ago. After that, I'm not sure.
- 37:11Speaker 4: And by the way, they've they've confirmed John Wick five
- 37:16Speaker 4: with Keanu Reeves. Yeah, so he didn't die.
- 37:20Speaker 3: I'm not surprised. I don't think anyone is at this point.
- 37:25Speaker 1: They might as well rename that franchise Sacred Cow because
- 37:27Speaker 1: he ain't dying.
- 37:29Speaker 4: Have y'all seen the crazy story? And now I'm donna
- 37:31Speaker 4: blank on who it was. There's some actress that at
- 37:34Speaker 4: the last minute invested six million dollars they were about
- 37:36Speaker 4: to shut her production on John Wick.
- 37:39Speaker 3: I think it's Eva Longoria.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Like the original John Wick felt huh no, no, this
- 37:48Speaker 1: is brand new to me. I love the John Wick franchise.
- 37:54Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, obviously it's uh, it's been a money maker.
- 38:00Speaker 1: Help here, it is Ava Longoria invested six million dollars
- 38:04Speaker 1: in John Wick at the last minute, essentially saving the
- 38:08Speaker 1: film from being canceled. The production was in danger of
- 38:11Speaker 1: shutting down due to a lack of funding, and Longoria
- 38:13Speaker 1: stepped in to cover the gap. This investment was crucial
- 38:16Speaker 1: because it prevented the movie from being shelled just days
- 38:19Speaker 1: before filming was scheduled to begin. Oh God, bless you
- 38:25Speaker 1: Ava Longoria.
- 38:26Speaker 3: Amen. I love those movies.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Also, I wonder how much money she's not made on
- 38:33Speaker 1: that investment.
- 38:34Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, woo man, Yeah, good on her.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I just looked it up. An Adonis's dating tum cruise.
- 38:45Speaker 3: She's thirty six, he's sixty two.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Well she's thirty seven now, so they thirty celebrate birthdays together.
- 38:52Speaker 4: Well, she didn't get near what you would. She didn't
- 38:56Speaker 4: get a piece on the back end of the entire franchise.
- 38:59Speaker 4: So I mean she he invested six, got twelve back.
- 39:01Speaker 1: But oh that's a great investment.
- 39:04Speaker 2: Yeah I could have she would have taken back in points.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Uh huh, that's generational wealth.
- 39:12Speaker 3: Wow.
- 39:14Speaker 2: It's like Jack Nicholson and The Joker and Batman, Like
- 39:17Speaker 2: he took DC money, like he got money off the comics,
- 39:20Speaker 2: off all the Toys, and then he got back end
- 39:23Speaker 2: points to produces and he made I think up to
- 39:26Speaker 2: date is like over two hundred and fifty three hundred
- 39:28Speaker 2: million dollars just off that movie.
- 39:32Speaker 1: So he laid the blueprint for Robert Downey Junior's Iron
- 39:35Speaker 1: Man contract. Basically, smart Man well well played. Other birthdays
- 39:41Speaker 1: today after Nada armis thirty seven. Gal Gadot turns forty today.
- 39:47Speaker 1: She's Giselled in the Fast and Furious movie. She was
- 39:49Speaker 1: also a Wonder Woman in a pair of films. Kirsten Duntz,
- 39:52Speaker 1: who is Mary Jane and the Old Spider Man trilogy
- 39:55Speaker 1: with Toby McGuire is forty three. She's also I don't
- 40:01Speaker 1: want to say comeback, but she's back in more things now.
- 40:04Speaker 1: She was in that Civil War movie from the movie
- 40:08Speaker 1: Studio A twenty four. She and I think it's her husband,
- 40:12Speaker 1: Jesse Plunkett Plummet anyway, they live. They live in Texas now,
- 40:21Speaker 1: and so they make occasional appearances around like south like
- 40:26Speaker 1: south of Fort Worth, fort Worth area, Waco General areas.
- 40:29Speaker 1: I guess his family's from the area, and so you
- 40:33Speaker 1: might see Kirsten and Jesse hanging out.
- 40:40Speaker 3: In the stockyards what's up? Is it in the stockyards.
- 40:44Speaker 1: I don't know if they go that mainstream more like
- 40:47Speaker 1: like old country cafe or something. So I'm almost positive
- 40:52Speaker 1: I've seen like an Instagram photo of them like at
- 40:55Speaker 1: like some sort of like local diner like in High Texas.
- 40:57Speaker 3: I don't know. You got your new US Weekly.
- 41:00Speaker 1: You Is it that obvious?
- 41:06Speaker 10: I like to keep up with my stories trayuse online.

- 41:54Speaker 1: Treehouse Show. I'm Dan, He's Trey. That's Raj. Just a
- 41:58Speaker 1: little bit left inside the Treehouse to day, Wednesday, April thirtieth,
- 42:02Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. I thought about talking about this Brinks
- 42:08Speaker 1: armored car robbery and maybe we'll get to it, but
- 42:13Speaker 1: I'm still stuck on Lucas Brown, the runaway prison inmate
- 42:16Speaker 1: in Pueblo, Colorado. I just keep thinking about that. This
- 42:19Speaker 1: is a guy that was Look, it was just like
- 42:22Speaker 1: the County holding facility. It wasn't even like it's it's
- 42:27Speaker 1: basically jail, not prison, right. He was only supposed to
- 42:31Speaker 1: be in there for like twenty eight days or something,
- 42:35Speaker 1: and twenty six days he was supposed to be raised
- 42:38Speaker 1: on day twenty six, but on day twenty four as
- 42:41Speaker 1: a kitchen trustee, he just ran down the street out
- 42:45Speaker 1: the gate.
- 42:47Speaker 3: Did you look at his mugshot?
- 42:50Speaker 1: Let me pull it back up. Let's see here, mugshot
- 42:57Speaker 1: for Lucas Brown. Oh okay, yeah, he looks like a runner.
- 43:03Speaker 3: Let's can we can we see it?
- 43:06Speaker 1: Yeah, give me just a moment here. I don't know.
- 43:09Speaker 1: He looks like a pleasant young man with who's who's,
- 43:14Speaker 1: you know, into art and stuff.
- 43:18Speaker 4: It looks like he tried to write matrix matrix code
- 43:20Speaker 4: on his face with a tattoo.
- 43:23Speaker 3: You know what.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Lots of a show are fandom in different ways. There's
- 43:27Speaker 1: Lucas it's got yeah, got the face tattoos. Yeah, although
- 43:34Speaker 1: that's really not very good artwork on his face. I
- 43:36Speaker 1: can't tell if that's actual face tattoos or if he
- 43:40Speaker 1: just fell asleep or passed out. In the frat house.
- 43:44Speaker 1: No tattoo on the front of his neck. I can't
- 43:48Speaker 1: quite make out what that is. Can you tell what
- 43:50Speaker 1: that is? Trade the tattoo on his neck?
- 43:55Speaker 3: I know it looks like I'm not going to say
- 43:58Speaker 3: what that looks like.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Well, you know what, I think it's a Is it
- 44:03Speaker 1: the Virgin Mary praying with a rosary? I think that's
- 44:08Speaker 1: what it is. It looks like the Virgin Mary praying
- 44:13Speaker 1: with a rosary around his neck.
- 44:16Speaker 3: What were those those those books?
- 44:18Speaker 2: What were those books that you would get where you'd
- 44:20Speaker 2: like the up close like the eye thing where you
- 44:23Speaker 2: had to put it towards your eye and like back.
- 44:24Speaker 1: Out to see the logic eye. Yeah, I think you
- 44:27Speaker 1: might see a sailboat.
- 44:29Speaker 3: That's what this is.
- 44:31Speaker 1: Well, he's got the magic eye neck tattoo, and I
- 44:33Speaker 1: see what looks to be a Virgin Mary type figure, uh,
- 44:38Speaker 1: praying with a rosary.
- 44:40Speaker 3: Yes, I can see that now.
- 44:43Speaker 1: It took me a minute because I wasn't sure, because
- 44:46Speaker 1: it certainly wasn't the blueprint design of his grand escape
- 44:50Speaker 1: from the Pueblo Detention Center, which involved him just taking
- 44:54Speaker 1: out the trash behind the kitchen and then seeing an
- 44:56Speaker 1: open door and just ran on the street.
- 44:59Speaker 3: See I I saw the mug shot. He didn't he
- 45:04Speaker 3: didn't have it.
- 45:05Speaker 4: I guess it was before evinly his earlier mugshot.
- 45:09Speaker 3: Oh so before the next tattoo. Yeah, gotcha for a
- 45:15Speaker 3: lot of pace work.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Maybe maybe he got that in his twenty six days
- 45:20Speaker 2: and yeah could have been. Yeah, he looks like he
- 45:24Speaker 2: makes good decisions.
- 45:27Speaker 3: That's that's what that face says.
- 45:29Speaker 1: I still love the idea how he's got two days
- 45:31Speaker 1: left on his sentence and he thinks it's a good
- 45:33Speaker 1: idea to just run out the prison. As a trustee,
- 45:38Speaker 1: so he's given all these additional, you know, special circumstances.
- 45:43Speaker 1: He's a kitchen trustee. He's he's allowed to go outside
- 45:47Speaker 1: and take out the trash, and he takes advantage of
- 45:49Speaker 1: their kindness by running down the street. And you're right, Raj,
- 45:52Speaker 1: maybe it was. Maybe the reason why he was loose
- 45:55Speaker 1: for thirty five minutes is because when he ran past
- 45:58Speaker 1: the gate, they were just like, really.
- 45:59Speaker 3: Again, Lucas, Lucas, come here he's out again.
- 46:09Speaker 2: I like how he's like like he's the trustee, Like
- 46:11Speaker 2: who didn't get the job.
- 46:14Speaker 3: That's a great point.
- 46:17Speaker 2: That's your trustee was it an MS thirteen game member.
- 46:21Speaker 2: That's like, I think you're you're not qualified.
- 46:25Speaker 3: Bring it. Bring in Lucas.
- 46:30Speaker 1: With his tattoo of the Virgin Mary praying over you. Know.
- 46:33Speaker 1: What he hopes to be is the Holy Mary, Mother
- 46:36Speaker 1: of runners.
- 46:37Speaker 3: The patron of running, the.
- 46:43Speaker 1: Patron saint of prison escapes.
- 46:49Speaker 3: That's what he should be.
- 46:50Speaker 2: It'll be Saint Lucas Ulcus, the patron saint of thirty
- 46:55Speaker 2: five minutes.
- 46:56Speaker 1: Prince Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us runners
- 47:00Speaker 1: now and at the hour of our prison escape. Finally,
