- 0:02A listener production.
- 0:06Well, the Formula 1 2026 season is up on us.
- 0:10A new team, a new drive, a new regulations.
- 0:13But one thing is constant.
- 0:14You need to get the voice for mine of motorsport on.
- 0:17It is this man.
- 0:18He's a star.
- 0:19His name is Greg Russ.
- 0:20Last time I saw him was in his commentary box at the Singapore Grand Prix where he called the socks off that one.
- 0:25Greg Russ, Rusty, as I know you.
- 0:27Good to see you.
- 0:28Great man.
- 0:28Hello, mate.
- 0:28Great to see you too.
- 0:29And I'm far from a guru like you.
- 0:32You worked around it for a little while.
- 0:34I genuinely love it.
- 0:35I try and soak up as much from the people that are immersed in it.
- 0:39And yeah, mate, I've been coming to Albert Park now since the early 2000s, which is crazy.
- 0:44Singapore, you talk about, I think they're up to maybe 16 iterations of that.
- 0:48And I've done about 12 of them.
- 0:50They're cool.
- 0:51Some cool stuff along the way.
- 0:52It's a long time ago.
- 0:53We used to work on it at Channel 10 with you and Diffie and Crompton and your lunatic mate, Darrell Beattie.
- 0:59But the sport is changing very quickly, isn't it?
- 1:01We got done one year at Albert Park.
- 1:03Beattie hot-rodded a golf cart there.
- 1:05We got in a bit of trouble.
- 1:07Something's never changed.
- 1:07Something's never changed.
- 1:09But the sport is changing, as you say.
- 1:10So this is biggest technical reset in a generation, over 10 years.
- 1:15The sport's really good in these moments.
- 1:17Back in around 2014 when they embarked on some pretty significant change around embracing...
- 1:24greener technologies, you know, boosting engine output with battery power and so on.
- 1:31They literally, from a blank sheet of paper, some of these engineers and designers came up with groundbreaking things.
- 1:38So this year, cars are shorter, narrower, 30 kilos lighter, lot cleaner looking to Howie.
- 1:44So they wanted to create something that wouldn't disturb the air so much around the cars that follow, hopefully generate a bit more passing.
- 1:52DRS system, we know lots of acronyms in motor racing, right, which drives you mad.
- 1:57That's gone.
- 1:58But the front and rear wings are now active, right?
- 2:03So they can be opened to create less drag, cut the air faster and closed to generate the downforce and support them in the corners.
- 2:12There is almost a 50-50 split in your traditional combustion engine, like you and I might have in our road cars per se, turbocharged 1.6 litre, and then you have battery support.
- 2:26But the pair of them almost generate the same level of power, and the drivers can use measures in the car during the race to deploy that, to recharge that, and so on.
- 2:38So there's...
- 2:40There's a lot required of the driver this year.
- 2:42And I think people like Oscar Piastri have talked about the added bandwidth that you need to do that.
- 2:48Lewis Hamilton's talked about them being immensely complex and so on.
- 2:52So those that can think...
- 2:54strategically about their race that have that cool, calm ability to do that, but also to understand how to harness, to regenerate, when to deploy, when to best deploy and so on.
- 3:08I think they're the ones that are probably going to stand out this year.
- 3:10One thing we haven't mentioned probably...
- 3:11should too, is that fuel is a part of this now.
- 3:15It's got to be made to a certain set of parameters that are greener, more sustainable, but the teams can venture off with their fuel partners and create something that works for them.
- 3:27Now, I'm hanging in there.
- 3:28As long as you didn't go into tyre, because you know you and I, we have vast disagreements about the interest levels in tyres.
- 3:35I don't care.
- 3:36I don't care.
- 3:37I'm not letting you talk about tyre degradation or people will be switching off YouTube and never coming back.
- 3:42But, mate, it's a great explanation.
- 3:44Since, as you mentioned, I had the privilege of working on F1, 97, 98, 99, working on the broadcast, and in my whole time working on it, watching it, then working on it with Tim with you,
- 3:57spicing up the on-track action.
- 3:59So a lot of these changes, as fancy as they are, and the battery power and the wings are to try and produce closer racing and more overtaking.
- 4:09Yep.
- 4:10What do you think?
- 4:13I'm defaulting to some early comments by the drive.
- 4:15We've obviously had some pre-season testing, right, where we've seen a bit of this in action.
- 4:20Whether, you know, you're compromised because you need to lift and coast to regenerate, what impact that has and so on.
- 4:28I think Max Verstappen sounds like he's been a bit outspoken about them.
- 4:33The drivers at the end of the day want that pure driving pleasure.
- 4:38Well, they want to drive flat knacker,
- 4:40The whole time.
- 4:41Yeah, that's right.
- 4:41But that's not what these cars are going to do.
- 4:43No.
- 4:44But at the end of the day, you cover lots of different sports.
- 4:47They are competitive animals.
- 4:49Yep.
- 4:49Right?
- 4:50And...
- 4:52They're given a set of parameters.
- 4:53They will play to those set of parameters and may the best team and driver win.
- 4:58The parameters are so important.
- 5:00And I think the exciting thing about it, Rusty, is it's a technological revolution, which we see in Formula One.
- 5:05So you have a look at testing and there's so many different variables.
- 5:09But I reckon it was for one lap.
- 5:11Ferrari rolled a, this is beyond my technical expertise, which is not saying much, basically a 180 degree reversible wing.
- 5:21This is like getting out the roast chicken rotisserie at the Howie household for a barbecue, right?
- 5:29So...
- 5:30It was spotted in the second test at Bahrain, and there are more elements to it than that, but that's the most visual one, right?
- 5:35So you're right, it goes 180 degrees, lots of people talking about it in the paddock.
- 5:40Basically, it can turn itself upside down to assist the way that it cuts the air, make the car quicker.
- 5:46I love the way that they have exploited a loophole here, and there are people that spend their entire year sifting through the sports rules, their new regulations, what can we do differently here, and so on.
- 5:58So they're...
- 5:59Their car is slightly more elongated, which makes this possible, what they're using, right?
- 6:05Don't start to boil.
- 6:06No, no, no.
- 6:07I'm not going to.
- 6:08Don't start to drop.
- 6:08But there are other elements that make this, on paper, effective, right?
- 6:13So, A, it seems to comply.
- 6:16Some rivals are saying, you know, is this thing too heavy?
- 6:18Is it too complex?
- 6:19Will it be troublesome?
- 6:21Why have others not done it so far?
- 6:23And so on.
- 6:24Is it a bit of a, like a kind of smoke screen while you're looking over here and fascinated by this thing that they're doing that maybe is just a toy for the testing?
- 6:32Would you reckon they're going to run it?
- 6:33Do you reckon we could see it in Melbourne?
- 6:35They only ran it for literally one or two laps.
- 6:37They've experimented with it.
- 6:39I'd kind of be surprised if they don't.
- 6:41Yeah, but you've got – they're a business about finding new ways of doing things.
- 6:46You don't just look at it and go, oh, well, that's the way we've always done it in the past, or that's what history shows.
- 6:54It's like, how can we totally upend this and try something different?
- 6:57Well, this is going back to the old Tyrell six-wheeler.
- 7:00Like, this is how revolutionary we were taught.
- 7:01David Coulthard had some thoughts on this reversible wing.
- 7:05This is what he had to say on his Up to Speed podcast.
- 7:08It could be a complete distraction technique.
- 7:10They've had this as a little side project.
- 7:14Now other teams go and spend time looking at whether it works in CFD, which is the computational fluid dynamics, putting design team on to looking at it, which means they're then not utilising that resource to develop their own car.
- 7:27That's another thing, Ben, on this podcast.
- 7:29We're not talking CFD.
- 7:30We're not talking wind tunnels or fluid dynamics, okay?
- 7:34We're going to put you in a wind tunnel one day.
- 7:35Well, that's your – I've got to reduce drag, I reckon.
- 7:37I'll be okay.
- 7:38Hey, Audi's coming in with a Revolut F1 team, which is fantastic.
- 7:45Again, new teams enter.
- 7:47Yep.
- 7:48It's difficult.
- 7:48We're going to see the same with Cadillac.
- 7:50Yep.
- 7:51But Audi are a massive mark.
- 7:53You know, they're not coming on with a cut price operation here.
- 7:56How do we think they're going to roll?
- 7:57History shows every time they have entered world championship level motorsport,
- 8:02Or pinnacle motorsport, they have been unbelievably good.
- 8:05You've got to hark back to the 80s in the World Rally Championship where they came with this radical four-wheel drive, awesome car that still for many motorsport fans evokes this special memory even now.
- 8:20I'm with, during the week of F1 here in Melbourne, I'm doing a function with Alan McNish.
- 8:26He was kind of one of the gods of sports car racing.
- 8:30When Audi committed to that program, they did some unbelievable things, very memorable races at Le Mans in the United States and so on.
- 8:39It will take time.
- 8:40Formula One is the absolute pinnacle.
- 8:43They have great history that dates back a long way in motor racing.
- 8:46We just talked only about two things there.
- 8:49they will win at some point.
- 8:51Not straight away.
- 8:52It'll take a lot of learning.
- 8:53They've pioneered with their... A lot of others that have come into the sport have paired with other engine suppliers or whatever to help them get off the ground.
- 9:00They've done their own thing.
- 9:03Admittedly, with some framework from...
- 9:06Sauber and some existing drivers and so on.
- 9:08I think that stability will help them in the background there.
- 9:10But as a company, the commitment that they're showing, yeah, is big, mate.
- 9:16I'd love to see, like, Hulkenberg, 240-odd starts, and he got that first podium.
- 9:20It'd be fantastic to see him given a vehicle, a car, a team, to fully display his talents.
- 9:26He's one of the nice guys, but he probably hasn't ever had that opportunity to be in a truly elite car to...
- 9:33really show what he can do you know what um timing is like in elite sport right and sometimes you for whatever reason aren't placed so when he's had those brief moments to savor a little something we cheer because it's it's a huge thing and i'm a i'm a fan of gabby bortoletto he has a real um deep appreciation of the history of the sport for a young man coming in you know he's a different generation um i i love that i reckon that's um
- 9:58Knowing that he's a proper committed athlete, but in the same breath also appreciates the history is a great thing.
- 10:04The other change, new team.
- 10:06And that's always exciting.
- 10:07And it's Cadillac.
- 10:09So this is a massive mark.
- 10:10They've got enormous history and background behind them.
- 10:13And they've got Bottas and Perez.
- 10:15So my man, Valtteri, always brings a bit of sizzle.
- 10:17It'll be interesting to see how Perez goes back.
- 10:19Obviously, it didn't work out with him at Red Bull, but they get the Mexican support on board.
- 10:24But it's a massive thing to start a new Formula One team.
- 10:27I was listening to Mercedes talking about it yesterday, and they said this new iteration of the engine, they started working on in 2022.
- 10:34So that's four years ago.
- 10:36So Cadillac have to roll in from the start and compete with that.
- 10:39Yep.
- 10:40So they are bringing other elements together to kickstart this to begin with.
- 10:45You can't start from scratch, can you?
- 10:47Correct.
- 10:47But, I mean, smart, smart.
- 10:49Valtteri and Sergio Perez, guys with lots of experience, work with some big teams in the sport, know what's required from a people and an infrastructure, if you will, standpoint.
- 11:01So they'll bring that wealth of experience to that operation.
- 11:07End of the year.
- 11:08Who has more points, Perez or Bottas?
- 11:12Oh, that's tough.
- 11:13I hadn't expected you to ask me that.
- 11:17I think Valtteri will chip away here.
- 11:18Just quietly keep chipping away.
- 11:21Sergio, I feel, maybe has a little point to prove here.
- 11:23That may work for or against him.
- 11:26You haven't answered the question?
- 11:27I'll say Valtteri.
- 11:27Okay, I'm with you on that.
- 11:29Qualifying head-to-head?
- 11:31Ooh, I'll go the other way.
- 11:32I reckon Perez might have just that slight little edge in those moments.
- 11:37Okay, Formula One, drive to survive.
- 11:40It's taken it to a whole new audience, hasn't it?
- 11:41When we used to work on it, it was quite a niche sport.
- 11:44Now there's so many people interested.
- 11:46So we put out, if people wanted to ask questions, MJ here, the server blew up.
- 11:50So there was that many questions rolled in, so we could only get through a few.
- 11:54Rob from Guymere Bay.
- 11:55Rusty, what's Rob got for us?
- 11:57Hey, guys.
- 11:57It's Rob here from Guymere Bay, big fan of the Howie Games and Rusty's Garage.
- 12:03I know you've both been to plenty of Grands Prixs.
- 12:05What's your favourite on-track F1 memory?
- 12:09Domestically, Mark Webber, when he was with Paul Stoddart- In the Minardi.
- 12:15In the Minardi, against all odds, almost getting to a podium scenario.
- 12:21And that was unheard of that day here at Albert Park.
- 12:24Mark, when you talk to him about it privately, was actually quite nervous about it because they said, we're going to kind of stage a separate podium to celebrate what you've done here.
- 12:34And he said, no, no, no, I didn't finish on the podium.
- 12:37This is not right now.
- 12:39I shouldn't be doing this.
- 12:40Ron Walker, who was around back then, and many others were like, no, no, we need to champion an Aussie having a great day out here.
- 12:46So for them to do that back then, I mean, from memory, Darrell Eastlake was late.
- 12:50Darrell Eastlake was calling it, going off.
- 12:52I mean, yeah, really, really, really cool thing.
- 12:56I think for me, my first season working on Formula One, I really had a real affinity with Jacques Villeneuve.
- 13:03Because Formula One at that stage, like I can remember Coulthard and Hackenden at that stage with McLaren, West McLaren, that they had even corporate jackets to put on with cardboard down their sidearms.
- 13:15So when they sat in the press conference, you could see the sponsors better.
- 13:18Yeah, yeah.
- 13:19And the ante of all that was Villeneuve because he'd come in, he'd have his baggy-ass suit on at the Williams.
- 13:25He had the dyed hair.
- 13:26I think he was going out with Danny Minogue at the time.
- 13:28So I was like, this dude, he's a little bit different.
- 13:30He's not your corporate character.
- 13:31And obviously it came down to the last race in Hareth, and I was there watching that race working, and it got to the top of the straight, and it was Schumacher versus Villeneuve for the world title.
- 13:41And Shuey, let's be honest, he punted Jacques off.
- 13:44and Jacques was able to continue on, and he won the world title.
- 13:48And that night, Rusty, we were in a bar in, I don't know, my Spanish geography is a bit dodgy.
- 13:54It could have been, oh, I don't know.
- 13:57Anyway, it was down near Jerez and serving drinks behind the bar.
- 14:01was Villeneuve and Schumacher.
- 14:02I love that.
- 14:03And they had the race on.
- 14:04And when it got to the point when Schuie punted him off, everyone sort of started booing and Schuie looked a bit sheepish behind the bar, but he took it on his chin.
- 14:12So Villeneuve, for me, in that moment to win the world title, that's my favourite Formula One memory.
- 14:18Now, Jess from Abbotsford.
- 14:19Come in, Jess.
- 14:20Hi, guys.
- 14:21Jess from Abbotsford here.
- 14:23This might be a hard one for you, Rusty, but who was your favourite F1 driver of all time?
- 14:28Oh.
- 14:29Hands down, the late great Ayrton Centre.
- 14:31For me, I can vividly remember watching Imola the night that he died.
- 14:38I went and woke up my dad, who's gone now, and I said, this looks bad.
- 14:44And he only won three world titles.
- 14:46That's what the stats will show.
- 14:49But what he brought to the table back then revolutionized the sport from a training standpoint, a commitment standpoint.
- 14:59I would love to have known what he might have gone on to add to in terms of that.
- 15:03that tally but um i will always have a very special memory of ed and center and i never got to uh in in a broadcast sense you know see him in the in the flesh i was too too young at that stage still too early in the broadcast journey but i've spoken with people you know there's um there's an aussie journalist uh who was one of the last to interview him for a story and things like that yeah got um center for me
- 15:29Do you remember when the doco came out and you were hosting it at Crown in Melbourne and you did an amazing job?
- 15:34I think we were doing a story.
- 15:35I might have been there doing a story for RPM and you were hosting it.
- 15:38And then it was a phenomenal documentary, but I can clearly remember they rolled it out.
- 15:42And it was obviously majority was in Portuguese and there was no subtitles.
- 15:46And I remember the majority of the audience sitting there going, it looks good, but we're not exactly sure what's going on here.
- 15:50They did an amazing job with that doco.
- 15:52When they eventually got the approval from the Centre family, and I think from Bernie Eccleston back then, they let him into the archives.
- 15:59And what they found was a treasure trove of stuff on him, mate.
- 16:03Manish Bandy, I think, was the producer of it.
- 16:06And James Allen told me a lot about it in the lead up, and you just knew it was done beautifully.
- 16:11For me, you know I like sizzle.
- 16:12You know, I hear all that entertainment.
- 16:14Lewis for me.
- 16:15Yep.
- 16:15Seven time.
- 16:17Potentially, controversially, let's be honest, probably should be eight time.
- 16:19But anyway, we won't go into the whole situation that happened there with Max and et cetera.
- 16:24But I just love, I love getting the opportunity to speak to him, Rusty, and he doesn't talk about tyre degradation.
- 16:30Yeah.
- 16:30I'm with him on Saturday.
- 16:31Are you?
- 16:32Yeah, yeah, I'm talking with him on Saturday.
- 16:33And he said to me last year when we were doing a similar thing, for some reason our crazy wildlife came up and he said, like, man, you know, sharks, snakes, spiders, you can have all that.
- 16:46No, he's cool.
- 16:47He's cool.
- 16:49Final question, Daniel from Hallam.
- 16:51Hey, guys, it's Daniel from Hallam.
- 16:54What's the best Grand Prix that you've been to apart from Australia, elsewhere in the world?
- 16:59Thanks, guys.
- 17:00That's a good question.
- 17:01I went to, with the 10 Network back in the day, the British Grand Prix, to be at Silverstone, a real heartland for the sport.
- 17:08I have very vivid memories of that.
- 17:12I've done plenty at Singapore.
- 17:13You and I have covered that.
- 17:15Been to Spain on occasion and testing down at Jerez as well.
- 17:19It's probably more the ones that I haven't done that I would like to do.
- 17:22And I'm getting to an age and stage now where I start to think about some of that stuff.
- 17:26So where would you go?
- 17:27I'd love to go to places like Spa, for example.
- 17:31Late in Mark Webber's career, Neil Crompton went there and spent the weekend with him just to see the cars through Eau Rouge and stuff.
- 17:38I believe the sport should have that balance still.
- 17:40We go to these flash venues from Las Vegas, Abu Dhabi, all this.
- 17:44I say, yeah, okay, we need that.
- 17:46We need that stuff.
- 17:47But in the same breath, you've still got to have that sprinkle of the real traditional venues that are the backbone of the game.
- 17:53Well, I guess when I was working on it, I was lucky that they were the majority of those venues.
- 17:56So I haven't been to any of the new venues.
- 17:58And going with Erica and seeing you in Singapore, that blew my socks off that Grand Prix.
- 18:02First time I'd seen a Formula One car at night.
- 18:05And there was Elton John on the Sunday night.
- 18:07There was the Foo Fighters on the Saturday night.
- 18:09There was a crowded house.
- 18:11And the city was outstanding.
- 18:12So I love that.
- 18:13But...
- 18:14The ones that I had the privilege of going to when I was working, like Monaco is phenomenal.
- 18:19Monza in the park with the Tafosi.
- 18:21Oh, man, man.
- 18:22But the one you picked, I can remember clearly the first time on the Friday, so we'd rigged the track during the week, was Spa.
- 18:30Yeah.
- 18:31And it always seemed to be raining when I was there.
- 18:33And I was with a cameraman who was at the top of Eau Rouge.
- 18:36And the cars came up for the first time in the first lap.
- 18:39And I was like, oh, this is impressive.
- 18:41And second lap, they're going.
- 18:42And I just couldn't.
- 18:44It's the first time I thought these blokes deserve every cent they get paid because the speed that they would have.
- 18:50Can't see at the top.
- 18:51Yeah, totally.
- 18:52Line.
- 18:52So, Spa for me.
- 18:55Yeah, if you get the opportunity.
- 18:57Monza 2.
- 18:57Monza 2.
- 18:57Yeah.
- 18:58In the park, and you can go walk around and see the old banking where they used to race and the sort of 45-degree angle of it.
- 19:04Rusty, we could talk about this for ages, and I know you want to get on the tyre degradation, but I'm not going to let you.
- 19:11I'm not going to let you.
- 19:13Okay, we'll go 3-2-1.
- 19:14You go 3, then I'll go 3-2-1 for our predictions for top three in the Drivers' Championship in 2026.
- 19:20Coming in third, according to you, Ruster is... Max Verstappen.
- 19:25I've got Max Verstappen as well.
- 19:27Cool.
- 19:27I think just to explain a little bit there...
- 19:32The whole partnership, them working with Ford, but basically building their own engine, I think they're in better shape than many gave them credit for in the lead-up.
- 19:39He's an unbelievable driver.
- 19:41And even if the chips are a little bit down, he doesn't sound like he's a huge fan of the new regs.
- 19:46He will make something of that.
- 19:47He's just an unbelievable competitor.
- 19:49Yeah.
- 19:49Yeah.
- 19:49Now, I've got number three, Verstappen as well.
- 19:52So two in the Drivers' Championship in 2026 in second place.
- 19:55Oscar Piastri.
- 19:57Okay.
- 19:57He'll take a step this year.
- 19:59I don't know, as we sit here and record this now, whether they've got the car just yet.
- 20:06He'll have learned a lot out of last year as a person, and I think he will come back very strong this year because of it.
- 20:13Okay.
- 20:14In second place for me, all the pre-season talk is about the Mercedes.
- 20:18And if you had to back Russell or Antonelli, purely from experience, you'd back George Russell.
- 20:22He looks like he's got Formula One world champion written over him at some stage.
- 20:26But who would know the changes that are going to occur?
- 20:28And I think it will be a development race.
- 20:30What we see in Melbourne could be very different than what we see in China, let alone what we see in the second place.
- 20:34You're in for an unpredictable six or so races.
- 20:37I think there'll be stuff here that they learn, they tidy up, whatever.
- 20:42That actually kind of makes Albert Park a really cool thing.
- 20:45There'll be something here that happens.
- 20:48Hopefully it's an Aussie on the podium, right?
- 20:50But yeah, there'll be a few things here that are a bit left to field, I reckon.
- 20:54So I've got Russell in second.
- 20:55So you're 2026 Formula One world champion?
- 20:58George.
- 20:59George.
- 20:59George.
- 21:00Yeah.
- 21:00I feel like they'll have the package.
- 21:02A lot of people saying that they haven't completely showed their hand yet.
- 21:07He's definitely out to prove a point, I think.
- 21:13Lots have said about, you know, were they going to try and lure Max Verstappen there at one point last year and so on.
- 21:19And what sort of deal would they give George?
- 21:22He'll be a good leader and he's a good leader and he'll make the most of what they've got and we haven't seen the best of what they've got yet.
- 21:29Now, the whole of YouTube is hanging on who I'm going with.
- 21:32But just before I do, so you haven't got the current world champion in your top three, Landon Orris.
- 21:38That's actually a very valid point.
- 21:39Maybe I've gone sort of half.
- 21:41No backtracking here.
- 21:42No, no, I'm not.
- 21:42I'm not.
- 21:43I'm not.
- 21:44Maybe there's a bit of heart in some of the answer that I've given you there.
- 21:47Yeah.
- 21:49At the moment, no.
- 21:50I haven't either, but I've delivered the Formula 1 world title, maybe 70% heart to Oscar Piastri.
- 21:56Love it.
- 21:57But as well as 70% heart, I think you pointed out beautifully, I think the driver's intellect is going to need to be so high this year with all the different things.
- 22:08It's not just driving the car flat out.
- 22:09It's those that have got the bandwidth, mate.
- 22:11Yeah, and I feel, I just feel his calmness.
- 22:15Like he's, you know, he's a dead-eyed, you know, he's an assassin.
- 22:19Like he's just so calm in the car.
- 22:21So with all that going on, I think if they give him the car, which is obviously, you know, a massive precursor to that happening, I think he can win the world title.
- 22:29He's got very good people around him.
- 22:31Some of that has shifted a little over summer.
- 22:35As I say, he'll have learned a lot out of last year.
- 22:38And make no mistake, for all the cool and calm, there's a deep hunger underneath there.
- 22:43Well, mate, it's been a pleasure to sit down and chat with you again.
- 22:45We could have gone on for ages.
- 22:46You don't want to talk tyres with me?
- 22:47No, we're not talking any degradation, I'm telling you right now.
- 22:51Good news, though, Rusty.
- 22:52Our special preview, this one ahead of the 2026 season, all thanks to BP, who do a magnificent job.
- 22:57They're the technology partner of the Audi Revolut F1 team.
- 23:01Now, you know what else we can thank BP for, Gary?
- 23:03Have a listen to this.
- 23:04We've been there.
- 23:05Correct.
- 23:06The chance for you and a friend to win one of three trips to be trackside at the Singapore night race.
- 23:11We're friends, aren't we?
- 23:12We are.
- 23:13My word we are.
- 23:14Well, you'll be there taking invoices from left, right and centre anyway.
- 23:18But the chance for you to go to the Singapore race, it includes five nights accommodation, a meet and greet with Nico Hulkenberg.
- 23:25So good.
- 23:25And dinner with Greg Rust.
- 23:27So this is unbelievable.
- 23:29No one's told me that.
- 23:30This is unbelievable.
- 23:31Barry Sheen would say, what second prize?
- 23:33Correct, correct.
- 23:34So entering is easy.
- 23:35Spend $20 or more at BP.
- 23:36Scan your BP rewards and you'll be in the draw to head to Singapore to hang out with Nico, watch the race, beautiful accommodation, and dinner with Rusty.
- 23:45Perfect.
- 23:45Get amongst it.
- 23:46Great stuff, brother.
- 23:46Lovely to chat with you, mate.
- 23:47Nice to catch up.
- 23:48Thank you.
