- 0:00The Morning Show with Preston Scott. The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was
- 0:05convincing the world he didn't exist. On news radio one hundred point SEVENBUFLA back
- 0:18with you on the Morning Show with Thrustin Scott, thirty five, almost thirty
- 0:22six minutes, now past the hour, Grand Allen running the radio program over
- 0:25there in Studio one A. I'm here in Studio one B, and I
- 0:29am joined friend of the program. He is the founder of the Liberty Council.
- 0:32And they do so much work that benefits us, whether we know it
- 0:37or not. And that's Matt Stave or Matt, good morning, welcome back,
- 0:39how are you, good morning, Good to be with you, Matt.
- 0:43Give everybody a kind of the cliff notes version. Who is Sandra Merritt
- 0:48and why should they care about what's happening in her case? Samra Merritt and
- 0:53David Deliden, back in twenty fifteen, begin to meet with planhead doctors,
- 1:00officials and representatives of orgon percumer companies over lunch in very public places in California,
- 1:08and those conversations were recorded, and it was about purchasing organs of these
- 1:15aboarded babies and What they covered was planned parenthood, a boarding babies intentionally so
- 1:21that they could harvest intact organs. They were altering the abortion procedure, taking
- 1:26intact hearts, lungs, livers, even brains, knees, and so forth,
- 1:30and then providing those two organ precumer companies which then sold those organs to
- 1:37research facilities funded by the National Institutes of Health with doctor Fauci for tens and
- 1:42thousands of dollars, and that's what then was released. The videos Planned Parenthood
- 1:48came after Sandra Merritt filed a multi billion dollar lawsuit in San Francisco and then
- 1:53the state of California, beginning with Kamala Harris who was the Attorney General then
- 1:57and then later Savior Beserah, both in the Vite administration. They came after
- 2:01Sandra and David with criminal charges, the first ever against a journalist in history.
- 2:07So those two cases are ongoing. The real issue is on the civil
- 2:12case. If Sandra can be held liable in civil damages for up to sixteen
- 2:16million dollars when there's no defamation, no false statements, and that's I think
- 2:23a really critical issue, then no media is safe. And that's why some
- 2:29other groups like pet to the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals even joined
- 2:35and filed in a methuscree in our favor at the Court of Appeals. So
- 2:39that's where we are with those two cases. The Supreme Court unfortunately declined to
- 2:44review the civil case, which they should have. It's a huge case.
- 2:47But it's not over. We're still back at the Court of Appeals with some
- 2:52major developments that have just occurred there regarding Project Veritas. Frankly about a law
- 2:58that was struck down that's very similar to the law in California. How it
- 3:01was struck down by the same Ninth Circuit. Yeah, I want to talk
- 3:04about that for a second. Here first, the law under which Sandra Merritt
- 3:08is been charged and was found guilty of violating. What is that law.
- 3:15There's a two party recording law in California, meaning that you have to have
- 3:19both parties consent to record a conversation. That's one of about five states in
- 3:23the country. Most states have a single party recording law. Just one person
- 3:28consents, that's it, and so the recording law has consequences, but there's
- 3:31exceptions to it, so you can record even if the other party doesn't consent.
- 3:37Or know about it if you believe that the person is engaged or about
- 3:40to engage in criminal activity, or there's no expectation of confidentiality. And in
- 3:45this case, both of those apply because they were done in very very public
- 3:50places with a lot of traffic around the people that we're talking. But that
- 3:55law is very similar to a law in the state of organ with progic veritas.
- 4:01When James o'keeith was then with Project Glass, they filed suit against a
- 4:06law that's almost identical, has the same kind of consequences two party content.
- 4:12If you don't get two party consent, then most criminal charges that law the
- 4:15Ninth Circuit Board of Appeals struck down as a violation of write of speech.
- 4:21That law is virtually identical to the law in California, and that's the law
- 4:28that is forming the basis for the criminal action in California. So we're asking
- 4:32the Ninth Circuit now to also issue the same ruling in this case as it
- 4:40did in the Oregon case on a very similar, almost identical law. And
- 4:46if that's the case, then there is no basis on which there should be
- 4:48any criminal prosecution whatsoever. There should be no question at that point because the
- 4:53law itself clearly violates the First Amendment. The Morning Show with Preston Scott,
- 4:57can you fly this plan and land it? You can't be serious. I
- 5:00am serious, and don't call me surely on News Radio one hundred point seven.
- 5:05Dousla Liberty Councils filed a motion to dismiss the Superior Court of San Francisco
- 5:15County regarding a criminal case and Sandra Merritt asking the court to dismiss all eight
- 5:24felony charges that were originally fifteen Matt, Matt, you said something about the
- 5:29law, even as it's constructed in California, has some exceptions. How is
- 5:32it not criminal conduct? What planned parenthood was engaging in? Well, frankly,
- 5:39it is, and especially we have a doctor, doctor Mikotola, for
- 5:42example, she intentionally altered the abortion procedure, which is illegal, especially when
- 5:48it is done to increase the risk to the mother. And what was she
- 5:54would do breach birth, and she would bring the baby out except for the
- 5:59head, and all the baby's head was still in so she could still consider
- 6:01to quote abortion. She would then extract the organs from the baby, and
- 6:09of course that causes additional risk to the mother. But it's also obviously brutal
- 6:12to the child. That's illegal, and she's bragging on tape about how she
- 6:16did that, she should be prosecuted. In fact, the US House and
- 6:20the US Senate referred these cases to the Department of Justice under the Obama administration
- 6:28for prosecution and consideration for prosecution, and of course the Obama administration did nothing
- 6:33to do anything on this issue. We do know that, for example,
- 6:38the Oregon procurement companies were sued by the Orange County District Attorney and they were
- 6:44fined seven point eight million dollars collectively. Some of those companies went on the
- 6:47business. Some of those companies, like stem Express are still in business.
- 6:51They were able to weather defined because they were engaging in the illegal trafficking of
- 6:57human baby body parts for profit, and so that was a conservative county.
- 7:02Orange County District Attorney went after those individuals and did it because they found out
- 7:08what was happening because of these videos. But the only ones who really haven't
- 7:12been punished is the planned parenthood operatives, the people who were involved, the
- 7:17affiliate entities that were engaging in these trafficking of human body parts. Some of
- 7:23those people wore two hats. They worked for Planned Parenthood or an affiliate of
- 7:28Plan Parenthood, and they also worked for the organ procurement company. So on
- 7:31the one hand, they're doing the abortions, on the other hand, they're
- 7:33profiting on the organ procurement company side. Those should have been and still should
- 7:39be the ones that should pay the penalty for what's going on here. What's
- 7:43gone on, and it's been going on for years and years. But what
- 7:46happened is you've got a politically motivated Kamala Harris and then Exavior Bisera who's now
- 7:51with the Department of Health and Human Services. They were the ages, they
- 7:56were getting contributions from plant parents. They went after Sandra and David. Even
- 8:03the Los Angeles Times Editorial Board issued an editorial blasting these criminal charges, saying
- 8:07it's never happened in history and it would ultimately undermine journalism and investigative journalism,
- 8:13which is true. So we have that going on at the same time that
- 8:16we're asking for the court to dismiss it based upon the unconstitutionality of this law,
- 8:22and also in the civil case, it's back at the Ninth Circuit,
- 8:26and we've asked the Ninth Circuit to do the same thing since the same Ninth
- 8:30Circuit, different panel, but the same circuit Court of Appeals struck down just
- 8:35this year a similar law that's virtually identical. Then how can that be a
- 8:39basis in the civil case that Plan aparently brought. It can't be. So
- 8:43we're moving on both fronts to push back on both of these situations. But
- 8:50you know, this has been going on since twenty fifteen. It's a long
- 8:54call and we're not done by any means. We were supposed to be going
- 8:58to trial this month, but that got moved because Sandra was not able to
- 9:03travel, but she will. You know, we have a trial scheduled for
- 9:07next year, but this month, just in a week or two, less
- 9:09than two weeks actually, middle of November, we'll be back in San Francisco
- 9:13in the criminal case Austin for the judges to dismiss all the remaining eight criminal
- 9:20charges. Any one of those charges. If Sandra's convicted of she could spend
- 9:24years in prison. As always, Matt, thank you for all you do
- 9:28and your team across the country on behalf of all of us. We appreciate
- 9:33very much. Thank you. Preston, good to be with you. Thank
- 9:35you, Sir Matt Staver, founder Senior Counsel. I mean, the list
- 9:41goes on and on. He's pastor. Liberty Council LC dot org is the
