- 0:02Speaker 1: of course, it's brought to you by the Fanatic Sportsbook
- 0:04Speaker 1: at Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City. If you were
- 0:08Speaker 1: a betting man, I'd take the under on the 5.5
- 0:13Speaker 1: win total that is out there right now for the
- 0:15Speaker 1: Philadelphia Eagles. Andrew DiCicco for the Inside the Birds podcast. Insidethebirds.com
- 0:20Speaker 1: is here for our Tuesday Football at 4. He was at.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Lincoln Financial Field last night, and Andrew, I know at 2-5,
- 0:27Speaker 1: this team in 2021 did make a run. They went
- 0:31Speaker 1: 7-3 down the stretch. But as you watch this team
- 0:35Speaker 1: through seven weeks, do you have any feel that this
- 0:38Speaker 1: thing is about to turn the corner for the positive
- 0:41Speaker 1: as opposed to turn the corner and get worse?
- 0:45Speaker 2: Through seven weeks, I can't say that I do, Mike.
- 0:48Speaker 2: And a lot of it is the attrition that the
- 0:50Speaker 2: Eagles have sustained on both sides of the ball, mainly
- 0:52Speaker 2: on offense. They don't have their starting quarterback. And what
- 0:56Speaker 2: you look for in these circumstances is you want to
- 0:58Speaker 2: see a team improve or at least show at least
- 1:01Speaker 2: some semblance that they're figuring things out. And I haven't
- 1:05Speaker 2: seen that offensively with the exception of parts of last night.
- 1:09Speaker 2: And then defensively, they just have a complete regression. And
- 1:12Speaker 2: you have to wonder if that's a sign of things
- 1:14Speaker 2: to come. And so you couple all that with now
- 1:17Speaker 2: the special teams as well. They also have had some
- 1:21Speaker 2: leakiness in terms of just their overall kick coverage, and
- 1:23Speaker 2: there's reasons for all that. So you now have three
- 1:26Speaker 2: units that you have questions about, and it's not just
- 1:29Speaker 2: one thing you can pinpoint. So for me, even though
- 1:32Speaker 2: we're just entering Week 8, it's hard for me to
- 1:33Speaker 2: see it.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree with a lot of what you said.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Let's take a look at the defense last night because, Andrew,
- 1:38Speaker 1: their offense showed up with a pulse. We'll get to them.
- 1:39Speaker 1: But their defense, this is supposed to be the bread
- 1:41Speaker 1: and butter. And if the offense shows up, the defense,
- 1:44Speaker 1: you know, you would hope can help out. They did
- 1:46Speaker 1: nothing of the sort last night. And seeing it in person,
- 1:49Speaker 1: you probably got a better vantage point of just how
- 1:51Speaker 1: bad the defense was last night.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Yeah, for one, Dak Prescott wasn't touched the whole time.
- 1:58Speaker 2: There were no quarterback hits. There were no sacks. There
- 2:00Speaker 2: was just five pressures in that game. And then you're
- 2:03Speaker 2: now asking your secondary to do a little bit more
- 2:05Speaker 2: of the heavy lifting against a receiving core that has
- 2:09Speaker 2: CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens and Ryan Flournoy. And so
- 2:14Speaker 2: that's a tall order. And what you're seeing now is
- 2:18Speaker 2: It's not just the fundamentals that are lacking. There's poor
- 2:22Speaker 2: schematic flaws that I think deserve to be looked at
- 2:26Speaker 2: a little bit more in terms of just in-game adjustments
- 2:29Speaker 2: when you're not getting home. What are you doing differently?
- 2:31Speaker 2: And I know against the Panthers, Vic Vangio, he dialed
- 2:35Speaker 2: up a lot of pressure, more so than he ordinarily does,
- 2:38Speaker 2: but you're not getting high-end performances from your high-end talents,
- 2:42Speaker 2: and that's really what it boils down to. And I'm
- 2:43Speaker 2: looking at Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis– and I think didn't
- 2:49Speaker 2: have the best game last night, but I thought that
- 2:51Speaker 2: he's done a lot of good this season. But Jihad
- 2:54Speaker 2: Campbell and players like that, we can go on and on.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Rick Wallen did not have a good game. So the
- 3:00Speaker 2: players that you're expecting to really be able to hold
- 3:03Speaker 2: their weight haven't been able to do so, at least
- 3:06Speaker 2: last night for many cases.
- 3:08Speaker 1: You're 100% right, and there's a couple of guys. What
- 3:12Speaker 1: is your take on what's going on with Cooper DeGene?
- 3:16Speaker 2: That's another player I could have mentioned, and it just
- 3:18Speaker 2: slipped my mind. But with Cooper to Jane, for me,
- 3:21Speaker 2: and I know that there are so many theories out there,
- 3:24Speaker 2: and you're never going to hear it directly from Cooper.
- 3:27Speaker 2: He's not going to make any excuses. He's going to
- 3:29Speaker 2: say he needs to make those plays. But there are
- 3:31Speaker 2: a number of factors, and none of them, to me,
- 3:35Speaker 2: revolve around off the field. You added some size to
- 3:40Speaker 2: you to be able to withstand the rigors that come
- 3:43Speaker 2: with playing safety. Is he wearing too many different hats
- 3:46Speaker 2: and not being able to focus on just one position?
- 3:49Speaker 2: Is he overthinking things? Is there a little bit too
- 3:51Speaker 2: much pressure on him because of his quick rise through
- 3:55Speaker 2: the NFL? But he's not performing well at nickel, nor
- 3:59Speaker 2: is he performing particularly well at safety either, and it's
- 4:02Speaker 2: really hard to pinpoint one reason or another contributing to it.
- 4:05Speaker 2: I just try to identify some things that I see
- 4:08Speaker 2: and what could potentially be the case. But he's a
- 4:11Speaker 2: player that when you go into this season– you bank
- 4:14Speaker 2: on him having maybe not an all-pro season and living
- 4:16Speaker 2: up to what he did last season, but certainly being
- 4:18Speaker 2: one of your marquee players, and right now he has
- 4:20Speaker 2: not been that. 100%.
- 4:23Speaker 1: He's been such an impactful player for two years, and
- 4:25Speaker 1: he seemingly is nowhere to be found a lot of times.
- 4:28Speaker 1: In fact, he's getting picked on a lot. Interior, Carter, Davis,
- 4:31Speaker 1: that duo there, they're getting paid all the money on
- 4:34Speaker 1: the defense. How big of a role did they have
- 4:37Speaker 1: in the problems from last night?
- 4:40Speaker 2: Huge. I would... probably put them towards the top. Jalen
- 4:44Speaker 2: Carter in particular. You're getting paid elite money to go
- 4:48Speaker 2: out there and impact the game. And it's not just
- 4:51Speaker 2: impact the game here or there. It's not dominate a
- 4:53Speaker 2: series here or there. It's being a reason why the
- 4:57Speaker 2: team wins. And there's too many plays where he's just
- 5:00Speaker 2: not a factor. He had two assisted tackles, didn't really
- 5:03Speaker 2: sniff Dak Prescott, didn't come close enough to do so.
- 5:07Speaker 2: And I just see a really inconsistent player that after
- 5:11Speaker 2: the game, he doesn't speak to the media. He declined
- 5:14Speaker 2: to speak. And that's not something that, from a media perspective,
- 5:18Speaker 2: we feel like we're entitled to. But it's about accountability.
- 5:22Speaker 2: It's about kind of standing up and answering questions about
- 5:26Speaker 2: what went wrong. And like it or not, Mike, when
- 5:29Speaker 2: you are commanding that kind of a salary and you're
- 5:33Speaker 2: essentially the centerpiece of a defense, you owe it to
- 5:37Speaker 2: the fans and everyone else to stand tall and answer
- 5:39Speaker 2: those questions and give folks the answer that they want.
- 5:42Speaker 2: And Jordan Davis as well. He's really a one-dimensional player.
- 5:46Speaker 2: The Eagles saw what he was able to do last
- 5:49Speaker 2: season and believe that that suggested that he was going
- 5:52Speaker 2: to take a next step further in his development. He
- 5:55Speaker 2: hasn't done that right now. His snaps have been way
- 5:57Speaker 2: down this season, and he's billed as a premier run-stuffer,
- 6:01Speaker 2: and that's where you really needed him to step up
- 6:03Speaker 2: and deliver. He played some more snaps last night than
- 6:06Speaker 2: he has. But both players were virtually invisible, and you
- 6:10Speaker 2: don't often see the Eagles defensive line get handled the
- 6:12Speaker 2: way that they did. I can think of the Chicago
- 6:14Speaker 2: Bears as being a team that has done that. So
- 6:17Speaker 2: it was really curious, and that's why it stood out
- 6:20Speaker 2: even more so.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Yeah, 105 yards gained before contact last night by Javante Williams.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I mean, 105 before contact. That's unbelievable. It's the first
- 6:31Speaker 1: time in Nick Sirianni's entire coaching career that a running
- 6:34Speaker 1: back had 150 yards or more against one of his defenses. Now,
- 6:39Speaker 1: I know he doesn't call the defense, but what do
- 6:42Speaker 1: you make of Fangio's defense this year? I heard you
- 6:44Speaker 1: say schematic earlier in this conversation. I mean, are teams
- 6:49Speaker 1: looking at Fangio's scheme here and figuring it out a
- 6:52Speaker 1: little bit?
- 6:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so. I think what you're seeing right
- 6:56Speaker 2: now in the NFL is a lot of the offshoots
- 7:00Speaker 2: of Brian Flores and what he does in terms of
- 7:03Speaker 2: just dialing up a lot of pressure. Vic Fangio is
- 7:06Speaker 2: kind of going to make you beat him with a
- 7:08Speaker 2: death-by-a-thousand-cuts approach. He's going to make the offense make the mistake,
- 7:14Speaker 2: and in doing so, you play strategic, but you play
- 7:18Speaker 2: a little bit more conservatively, and that's why fundamentals and
- 7:22Speaker 2: being a Simon Sounder paramount He doesn't dial up a
- 7:25Speaker 2: lot of pressure traditionally, and he's had to make some
- 7:27Speaker 2: alterations to how he calls a game because he's not
- 7:30Speaker 2: getting a lot of pressure from his high-end players. And
- 7:34Speaker 2: I think you factor all that into the equation, and
- 7:36Speaker 2: that's why teams are able to pounce and maybe have
- 7:39Speaker 2: their way with the defense they're going into the season, Mike.
- 7:41Speaker 2: We expected to be, I certainly did, among the NFL's elite,
- 7:45Speaker 2: and they have not fit the bill to this point.
- 7:49Speaker 2: And I know that you can look at it and say, well,
- 7:51Speaker 2: maybe they're wearing down because they've absorbed a ton of snaps.
- 7:54Speaker 2: They've had to do a lot of the heavy lifting.
- 7:56Speaker 2: But this is a young part of the season. This
- 7:59Speaker 2: is largely a young group, so I'm not necessarily buying that.
- 8:03Speaker 2: I think a lot of it has to do with
- 8:05Speaker 2: just the overall scheme and how teams are adjusting to
- 8:08Speaker 2: what the Eagles do. and then you're also not getting
- 8:11Speaker 2: the performances that you need from your marquee players.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Right, and a lot of this is, you know, they
- 8:16Speaker 1: bank on getting pass rush. Why are they unable to
- 8:19Speaker 1: get that pass rush? You know, Hunt obviously hurt. Grenard,
- 8:22Speaker 1: we don't know what his health was last night. Nolan
- 8:25Speaker 1: Smith is out. Ava Katie. You know, it seems that
- 8:29Speaker 1: they put a lot of money in the two interior guys,
- 8:31Speaker 1: and their pass rush from the outside has been nonexistent.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it's hard to pinpoint exactly why. I know that...
- 8:39Speaker 2: Last night, Dallas' offensive line had their way. Tyler Booker
- 8:44Speaker 2: had a phenomenal game against Jalen Carter, and both Jordan
- 8:47Speaker 2: Davis and Jalen Carter couldn't win their matchups enough for
- 8:51Speaker 2: the Eagles to be able to create some penetration up
- 8:54Speaker 2: front and disrupt the timing. Dak Prescott had all day
- 8:56Speaker 2: to throw. Then you look at the edge rusher group.
- 8:59Speaker 2: They bring in Jonathan Bernard, and he is a talented
- 9:02Speaker 2: pass rusher. I know the numbers don't suggest it, I
- 9:05Speaker 2: can't speak to the health part of it, however.
- 9:08Speaker 1: And when you add a.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Player like that who does have a history of injuries,
- 9:12Speaker 2: you've got to be able to have the foresight to
- 9:14Speaker 2: understand that that could creep up, certainly at his age
- 9:17Speaker 2: right now. And he just hasn't been available that much
- 9:19Speaker 2: for the Eagles. He was playing, I have to imagine,
- 9:22Speaker 2: a little bit compromised with the ankle. And then you
- 9:25Speaker 2: also factor in J. Lux Hunt coming back a lot
- 9:28Speaker 2: sooner than I envisioned when I watched that injury. happened
- 9:32Speaker 2: in London where he was clearly... It looked really gruesome
- 9:35Speaker 2: and something that would ordinarily keep a lot of players out.
- 9:38Speaker 2: He was back out there, but he didn't play that
- 9:39Speaker 2: many snaps. So both players, I imagine, from my perspective,
- 9:43Speaker 2: felt incumbent upon themselves to step in there knowing that
- 9:47Speaker 2: the Eagles were undermanned and they just weren't able to
- 9:49Speaker 2: give you much juice off the edge. And then you're...
- 9:52Speaker 2: Beyond that, you're looking at players like A.K. Abikady and
- 9:55Speaker 2: you're looking at A.J. Epinesa and Keyshawn James Newby and
- 9:58Speaker 2: all of a sudden you're not just... just relying on
- 10:01Speaker 2: them a little bit more than you'd like, and you
- 10:03Speaker 2: factor all that in, and that's why you're not getting
- 10:05Speaker 2: those results.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Andrew Cechos here from InsideTheBirds.com. The Inside the Birds podcast
- 10:09Speaker 1: is available on all podcasting platforms. He was in the
- 10:12Speaker 1: building last night. We'll get some thoughts on the feeling
- 10:15Speaker 1: in that locker room, but the offense did come last
- 10:17Speaker 1: night to play. They scored... Dallas comes back. They score.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Philadelphia answers. I mean, they're in the game offensively. What
- 10:26Speaker 1: did you like about what Sean Mannion did? There was
- 10:29Speaker 1: a lot of reporting this week about, you know, he
- 10:30Speaker 1: had a lot of different film studies, stuff that had
- 10:32Speaker 1: never gone on before. What did you take away from
- 10:35Speaker 1: Mannion's game plan last night?
- 10:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I liked how he opened the game. There was
- 10:40Speaker 2: a lot of quick hitters. The quick game was prevalent.
- 10:43Speaker 2: They got Saquon Barkley going early. They opened in 13 personnel.
- 10:47Speaker 2: But mostly... In the first portion of that game, they
- 10:50Speaker 2: kept the offense on schedule, and there was a lot
- 10:52Speaker 2: of tempo to it. You're also getting better play from
- 10:56Speaker 2: your offensive line. There's no coincidence that that coincided with
- 11:00Speaker 2: Landon Dickerson at left guard, Drew Kendall at center, Markel
- 11:03Speaker 2: Bell is getting a little bit more settled in at
- 11:05Speaker 2: right tackle, and they were really solid in pass protection.
- 11:08Speaker 2: I think later in the game, you saw some blemishes
- 11:11Speaker 2: there with the run blocking, but I think all of
- 11:15Speaker 2: that are indicators that Sean Mannion is able to kind
- 11:19Speaker 2: of get some things put together. Now, they had a
- 11:21Speaker 2: phenomenal drive to open the second half. 17 plays, 84 yards,
- 11:26Speaker 2: they burned over nine minutes. And then the deflating part
- 11:30Speaker 2: came because the defense surrendered a touchdown and the offense
- 11:34Speaker 2: was never able to generate anything. that momentum or recapture it,
- 11:37Speaker 2: I should say. So the, the problems there still lie
- 11:40Speaker 2: with the offense. They're having trouble manufacturing points in the
- 11:43Speaker 2: second half. And I thought for a moment there, they
- 11:46Speaker 2: were going to turn the corner, but it's not perfect,
- 11:49Speaker 2: but I can certainly see certain glimpses into Sean Maddie
- 11:53Speaker 2: and how he's trying to alter the offense and get
- 11:56Speaker 2: things headed in the right way.
- 11:57Speaker 1: And you got Barkley back last night. You saw like
- 11:59Speaker 1: a little bit of life from the run game there.
- 12:01Speaker 1: What did you, take from the run game, is that
- 12:04Speaker 1: because of Dickerson back, Kendall back? How much did getting
- 12:08Speaker 1: those two guys just give a little something to the
- 12:11Speaker 1: run game?
- 12:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I think big time. I think maybe even more
- 12:15Speaker 2: than some may realize. You're adding someone like Landon Dickerson,
- 12:19Speaker 2: who you can say what you will. He's not as
- 12:21Speaker 2: mobile as he has been. Injuries have certainly taken its
- 12:25Speaker 2: toll on him. But if you're talking about just sheer
- 12:28Speaker 2: mass and power and physicality, That's what you need at
- 12:32Speaker 2: left guard, and you're now coupling that with what you
- 12:34Speaker 2: have in Jordan Mailata and that 29-yard Saquon Barkley run.
- 12:38Speaker 2: He found that crease to the left, and it was
- 12:40Speaker 2: Jordan Mailata taking out Malachi Lawrence, the edge rusher, and
- 12:44Speaker 2: Landon Dickerson covering up Quinnen Williams, and Saquon was able
- 12:48Speaker 2: to find the crease for that 29-yard pickup. I just
- 12:51Speaker 2: thought they did a nice job as a collective resetting
- 12:55Speaker 2: the line of scrimmage early and generating some movement up front,
- 12:58Speaker 2: which we haven't seen much in recent weeks. So that
- 13:01Speaker 2: does make a big difference. And I know Landon was
- 13:03Speaker 2: really tough on himself after the game. And he looked inward,
- 13:08Speaker 2: as he always does, first and foremost, never speaks or
- 13:10Speaker 2: points fingers elsewhere. And he said that he didn't play
- 13:13Speaker 2: well enough. He gave up some pressures. But I thought
- 13:17Speaker 2: that he was generally fine in his first game back.
- 13:21Speaker 2: And I think that's an encouraging development that he left
- 13:23Speaker 2: that game healthy. And you also have Drew Kendall who
- 13:26Speaker 2: has done some good things at center as well.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, it's interesting because, you know, listen, this
- 13:30Speaker 1: feels like a lost season, and a lot of people
- 13:32Speaker 1: are like, hey, play for that draft pick. And I've
- 13:34Speaker 1: often wondered out loud, What does this team need? I mean,
- 13:38Speaker 1: you know, you would say if you're in the top
- 13:40Speaker 1: five in the draft, you know, you want to get
- 13:43Speaker 1: that impactful player. And I'm thinking, man, where would they
- 13:46Speaker 1: even look? If you look at the offensive line, okay,
- 13:48Speaker 1: you have a left tackle. You kind of like him, right?
- 13:50Speaker 1: I mean, you think that Milot is here for a
- 13:52Speaker 1: little while longer. You don't generally draft an interior lineman anymore.
- 13:56Speaker 1: in the top five of the draft. So would you
- 13:59Speaker 1: take another tackle, or do you want to see more
- 14:01Speaker 1: from Bell? I mean, that puts you in a weird spot.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Do you draft another wide receiver? You just took Lemon
- 14:07Speaker 1: last year. You got Smith. I mean, their wide receivers
- 14:10Speaker 1: haven't been awful this year. The running back, you don't
- 14:13Speaker 1: usually draft in the top five. Obviously, there's a lot
- 14:15Speaker 1: of quarterbacks here. I mean, even if you are a
- 14:18Speaker 1: really bad team draft-wise, it's really hard to pinpoint, Andrew,
- 14:24Speaker 1: what they actually need to hit on if you had
- 14:28Speaker 1: such a high pick?
- 14:30Speaker 2: Well, tackles are obvious there. You would ideally like to
- 14:33Speaker 2: find one who you can plug in at left or
- 14:36Speaker 2: right tackle, and you are, to your point, going to
- 14:39Speaker 2: learn a lot about Markel Bell, and that's why uh...
- 14:42Speaker 2: even if the season is lost you look to see
- 14:45Speaker 2: what you're getting out of the younger players can they
- 14:47Speaker 2: be building blocks for the future do we need to
- 14:50Speaker 2: address it further and really fortify those positions and tackles
- 14:54Speaker 2: one of them certainly a quarterback may be one of
- 14:57Speaker 2: them uh... you depending on what the situation uh... surrounding
- 15:01Speaker 2: jay one hurt and as that develops we'll learn more
- 15:03Speaker 2: but that could be realistically in play and then i
- 15:07Speaker 2: think you're always looking to fortified that the edge they
- 15:09Speaker 2: had they need to get another edge rusher in there because,
- 15:12Speaker 2: you know, the future for Nolan Smith, for example, who
- 15:15Speaker 2: knows where that could go from here. You have J.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Luke Hunt, but Jonathan Grenard's an older player. You have A.J.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Epinesa and Arnavick Katie, who I mentioned. Those are reserve veterans.
- 15:26Speaker 2: And I think edge rusher, as we've seen from the
- 15:28Speaker 2: Eagles over the years, that's something that they historically prioritize.
- 15:32Speaker 2: So that's just a few right there.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Yeah, and, of course, after watching that defense last night,
- 15:36Speaker 1: you probably thought, yeah, you need to fix this offense. Well,
- 15:40Speaker 1: now you might need to think about fixing some parts
- 15:43Speaker 1: on that defense. I want to get your thoughts on McKee.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I'm not the biggest McKee guy in the world. I've
- 15:47Speaker 1: certainly been vocal about that. I'm not saying he doesn't
- 15:51Speaker 1: have a role somewhere, but, man, just the lack of
- 15:54Speaker 1: mobility means he has to be pinpoint perfect so often.
- 15:59Speaker 1: You see if he's not accurate on a couple throws
- 16:02Speaker 1: that are there for him, that hurts you. Do you
- 16:05Speaker 1: look at McKee as a guy they want to look
- 16:07Speaker 1: at over the next 10 weeks, or does he have
- 16:10Speaker 1: a shelf life before they make a decision and maybe
- 16:13Speaker 1: look at somebody else?
- 16:15Speaker 2: Yeah, Tanner McKee is a flawed quarterback, and I was
- 16:18Speaker 2: always a little hesitant to anoint him as someone who
- 16:24Speaker 2: I thought could do more in the NFL. I know
- 16:26Speaker 2: that he's widely viewed in league circles, at least he was,
- 16:30Speaker 2: as a quarterback who could step in there and potentially
- 16:32Speaker 2: give you starter upside. I just never really saw it.
- 16:36Speaker 2: I know that he's had glimpses in the preseason. There's
- 16:39Speaker 2: been times in training camp, but I was never overly enamored.
- 16:42Speaker 2: I think he can be a competent quarterback who can
- 16:45Speaker 2: navigate two, three games in a season, but as far
- 16:49Speaker 2: as being a starter and leading an offense, I never
- 16:52Speaker 2: quite saw that. That being said, I know that you're
- 16:55Speaker 2: probably getting texts and calls about Joe Milton. I mean...
- 17:00Speaker 2: I've seen it on social media, but I would just
- 17:03Speaker 2: caution against that. The Eagles aren't going to pull the
- 17:06Speaker 2: plug on the Tanner McKee experiment that quickly. Joe Milton's
- 17:10Speaker 2: still learning the offense, and be careful what you wish for,
- 17:13Speaker 2: because if you think the offense can't look worse, it
- 17:16Speaker 2: potentially can with a quarterback who has an immensely strong arm,
- 17:20Speaker 2: but you have no idea where it's going. It would
- 17:22Speaker 2: be a lot of fun to watch. Don't get me wrong,
- 17:25Speaker 2: and the offense could certainly use that. But for what
- 17:27Speaker 2: they need right now, Tanner McKee provides some stability in
- 17:30Speaker 2: terms of just being able to get the ball out,
- 17:33Speaker 2: put the ball in the hands of your playmakers, and
- 17:36Speaker 2: just understand that it's going to be limited. There's always
- 17:38Speaker 2: so much that he can do because I believe that
- 17:41Speaker 2: he has a ceiling for what he can realistically accomplish.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Andrew DiCicco, of course, Eagles play on Sunday night this
- 17:47Speaker 1: week against Washington, two teams at the bottom of the
- 17:50Speaker 1: NFC East. And, of course, you can listen to that
- 17:52Speaker 1: game right here on 97.3 ESPN. Andrew DiCicco, thanks, buddy.
- 17:57Speaker 2: No problem.
