- 0:01LOL. Well, hello, ladies and
- 0:43gentlemen. My name is Brett keen, and you
- 0:45are listening and watching the Brett Keen show.
- 0:49I hope you all have had a blessed day, make sure you check
- 0:53out my website and all my new articles and post and also got a
- 0:58lot of other exclusive stuff over there.
- 1:01You can also check out my international radio station,
- 1:04where I talk about a lot of topics that cannot be listened
- 1:07to, or talked about on YouTube. You know, that whole free speech
- 1:11thing. And censorship, right?
- 1:13Well, we don't have to get all into that.
- 1:17Well, as many of you know, I like to do polls and quizzes and
- 1:22I like to ask my subscribers questions because I want to know
- 1:26what it is. What topics that you guys enjoy
- 1:29listening to? And I want to make videos that
- 1:33you're just whole-heartedly, not interested.
- 1:36And obviously I do care about what you think, and how you feel
- 1:40and all that. I usually whenever it comes down
- 1:44to it, I try to think of He owes that I myself will enjoy
- 1:50something that I would want to watch or listen to, but, you
- 1:54know, being a husband and being a man and all that I've
- 1:57discovered, as I've grown older that sometimes, you have to be
- 2:02able to make compromises. Sometimes you have to make
- 2:05sacrifices sometimes, your family doesn't want to watch the
- 2:08same TV shows as you sometimes. They don't have the same views
- 2:12or ideology that you do and you got to learn how to look.
- 2:17It other things and watch and listen to other stuff.
- 2:20Well, on my latest polls. I basically asked people, what
- 2:25is your favorite video Topics by me?
- 2:27Do you enjoy the most? And I roughly got 58 votes.
- 2:33And a lot of people said that they enjoy mostly, they want to
- 2:38hear about my personal life had to be honest with you.
- 2:41I don't know why I would love it if people explain to me why it
- 2:46is that they find my personal life so interesting especially
- 2:50over the other options I gave you.
- 2:53Your second favorite thing that you guys like to hear me talk
- 2:57about is God fair enough. I do enjoy talking about God and
- 3:02religion and All that, you guys have pretty much made it clear
- 3:06that you don't really care about my political views.
- 3:09And I can understand that a lot of people are kind of weary and
- 3:12burned out from politics. You guys said that the third
- 3:19thing that you like to hear besides my personal life or my
- 3:22views on God and religion is atheism.
- 3:25You guys like hearing what I have to say about atheist, it's
- 3:28probably because I used to be a former atheist.
- 3:31I used to be considered one of the most popular.
- 3:33The Atheist of all and so worn. And last but not least politics
- 3:39being the least. Interesting to you all video
- 3:42game seem to have a little bit of Interest with some of you out
- 3:46there, perhaps the younger audience that watches me.
- 3:50Fair enough. I know whenever it comes to
- 3:55video games, I don't play a whole lot of variety stuff out
- 4:00there. I have thought about making a
- 4:02channel where I review video games and do all kinds of
- 4:06different variety. But the whole installation
- 4:09process, it takes a while to download games and put them on
- 4:13your computer and I just upgraded my computer.
- 4:16So I would have the ability to do that, but I find it very
- 4:21difficult and challenging to be able to stream some of the kind
- 4:25of video games I play. I play a lot of role-playing
- 4:28stuff and a lot of the games I play kind of go at a casual slow
- 4:33pace. You'll find yourself an action
- 4:36moment but you know, it is what it is.
- 4:40Well, I guess, since you guys want to hear about my personal
- 4:43life, I'll share some things with you may not know, some of
- 4:47you may not realize this, but I didn't originally come to
- 4:50YouTube in order to promote atheism, even though I was a
- 4:55what was considered a popular number one, guy back, then I
- 5:02didn't come to promoted, I didn't come to be a part of some
- 5:05kind of atheist community. In fact, there was no atheist
- 5:09Community too. Again, with my reasoning behind
- 5:14coming to YouTube was, I was trying to distract myself from
- 5:19some of the bad stuff that was going on in my life at the time,
- 5:22my daughter was going in and out of the hospital and YouTube.
- 5:27At that time, gave me an opportunity, not to think about
- 5:30some of the negative things that we're going on in my existence.
- 5:36And at the time I noticed that a lot of people were very friendly
- 5:41back in the day before. Google or the Liberals ended up
- 5:45buying up YouTube. It was a fun place to be.
- 5:49I made friends with religious people and non-believers and a
- 5:54lot of people respected me. A lot of people love me and all
- 5:57that kind of stuff, but as the Liberals ended up taking over
- 6:01suddenly. When people realize they were
- 6:05being rewarded for drama videos and trolling and aggravation and
- 6:10harassment and what soon they would start creating words like
- 6:16cyber bullying and cyber attacks and all this.
- 6:20These are the kind of things I experience because I've been
- 6:22around since the internet went from dial-up to broadband.
- 6:30So yeah, the faster the internet became the more noisier things
- 6:36became so you might be interested in knowing that I
- 6:42didn't come here to do any of that.
- 6:46It was mostly my main priority was distraction and the other
- 6:50was because I enjoyed a lot of you, I liked listening to what
- 6:55you had to say, not just making videos talking about what I
- 6:58thought, but I enjoyed watching a lot of you back in the day, a
- 7:02lot of you were very real to me. You are a bunch of humans who
- 7:07took time from your Life to express how you were doing, what
- 7:11you were doing with your families.
- 7:14What some of your views were and some of the solutions that you
- 7:17gave in order to make the world a better place.
- 7:21I don't see that happen very much anymore.
- 7:24I I watch from time to time out what somebody like Jordan
- 7:30Peterson or I'll watch somebody like him because it helps me
- 7:36with depression and it helps me with dealing with problems that
- 7:41I'm not sure how to deal with. But I don't normally just watch
- 7:46your average Layman people anymore.
- 7:48A lot of people seem very fake to me.
- 7:51They don't seem as though. They're like they used to be.
- 7:55They're trying to get Partnerships and get paid and
- 7:58get sponsorships and all that and I just feel like I'm
- 8:02watching commercials I even eventually had to get an ad
- 8:07blocker. That helps me.
- 8:09Stop these long, long drawn-out, toilet paper ads.
- 8:14At play, at the beginning of all your videos out there, folks,
- 8:18for a while there. I can't tell you how many videos
- 8:21I clicked off, because I did not want to see a big long ad or mid
- 8:25rolls, which are ads that break into the middle of the video.
- 8:30And I also noticed a lot of people who do seem to have a lot
- 8:33of intelligent things to say, you cut your videos, 15 minutes,
- 8:38apart and put ads, and I'm like, you have commercials.
- 8:41And between your videos, you should have desk.
- 8:44And fancy Network looking material.
- 8:52Some other things about me that you may not know about a lot of
- 8:55my videos, if not, 90% of them are more are not scripted.
- 9:01I don't like practice, what? I'm going to say.
- 9:05I don't write down what I'm going to say.
- 9:08If I'm going to be doing an extensive video that has a lot
- 9:12of topics I want to cover, then I might take a few notes you
- 9:17know, scribble some stuff. Make sure you mention this, make
- 9:20sure You mention that but I don't write an anyway.
- 9:24What I'm supposed to say about those things, it's kind of like
- 9:29a trigger topic where it'll say, make sure you talk about this or
- 9:33make sure you talk about that. But usually, I don't require
- 9:36that I tried to cover one topic, but as I'm talking suddenly, I
- 9:42will find that a lot of other things will pop into my head
- 9:46having to do with similarities to what I'm discussing.
- 9:49And I'll start talking. About it.
- 9:53So I'm not scripted. I literally my friends can tell
- 9:57you any friend that's ever hung out with me.
- 10:00Whether Christian or atheist. I could just turn on a video
- 10:05record my screen point of the topic, maybe read a little bit
- 10:09of the article or whatever or most of it, if not all of it and
- 10:15I can, bam, I'm off to the races, I guess, the reason why
- 10:22I'm like that, That I was diagnosed whenever I was a young
- 10:24man to be hyperactive and also I was a said to have attention
- 10:30deficit disorder. Now I know what a lot of you are
- 10:34saying, how is that possible bright?
- 10:36You're so good at being able to focus on these topics and talk
- 10:40about what you talk. Well that's because instead of
- 10:44going to doctors and getting my self-medicated, like a lot of
- 10:47parents do their kids nowadays. I knew that if I'm going to make
- 10:52it This world. If I'm going to survive, then I
- 10:55need to learn how to deal with that issue.
- 10:59Any time I've ever been told that I have something that
- 11:02limits me, or stops me, whether it be fear, anxiety, or
- 11:06whatever, a kind of taught myself to instead of see it as a
- 11:10weakness, or a limitation, see it as a strength.
- 11:14I told myself. Well then I need to concentrate
- 11:17harder, I need to pay attention more.
- 11:20If I'm if I have some kind of issue with Austin tration.
- 11:23Then I simply need to reverse that and learn how to be able to
- 11:27focus and adapt better as where some people they say, oh, I've
- 11:31got this problem, I've got this issue.
- 11:33Now, I got to be put on vast amounts of medication or seek
- 11:38therapy, and all this tell me, I've got something wrong with
- 11:42me, and I'll go out of my way to Fix it or do better.
- 11:52And that's the reason why I suppose I am like, I am.
- 11:55I'm not one of these people where I like to allow myself to
- 11:58be beat down or taken out. So there's that As a man,
- 12:08whenever I'm not doing YouTube videos, I like to spend time
- 12:13with my kids, and my wife. I've always found it weird,
- 12:16whenever I was growing up. I used to hear so many adults
- 12:19can play know. My kids are constantly getting
- 12:22into trouble and it's such an excruciating process parenting
- 12:27is so tough and terrible or bringing me.
- 12:32I wanted to be a father, my wife, and I we'd had No
- 12:37accidents, everything we planned forward.
- 12:41We waited until we knew that we either had the money or that we
- 12:46have the ability to be able to do it and we specifically wanted
- 12:52a boy and a girl, I'd actually dreamed of having a boy and a
- 12:55girl and I got what I wanted. I got two wonderful kids and the
- 13:03only problems I've had with them is that as they've gotten older,
- 13:07they become more obviously, independent sufficient and able
- 13:10to sustain themselves and they don't require their mommy and
- 13:15daddy to be up their ass and all that.
- 13:18I miss the times whenever I used to hold their little frames up
- 13:23against my chest and listen to their heart, beat and them
- 13:26listen to mine. I miss the days where I can hold
- 13:30them and they would go to sleep and stuff and I'd rub their back
- 13:34and, you know, get that little burp out of them.
- 13:36Whenever I was robbing their backs, I miss the watching them
- 13:41walk for the first time. Learn how to talk and all that.
- 13:45Now, they're full-grown adults and they're doing their own
- 13:48business, and I'm hardly get to see my son as much as I'd like
- 13:53to anymore. We get along, just fine and love
- 13:55each other. He has absolute respect for me
- 13:58and I respect Get him. He and I had one single problem
- 14:03throughout his entire life that was very hard to deal with.
- 14:09He thought about going into the military a long time ago.
- 14:13And I argued with him up and down.
- 14:16Don't you do that? Don't you go out there and put
- 14:19your life on the line? For some politicians who were
- 14:22full of shit, don't you go? Do that to your mom and dad we
- 14:26can't have you coming back crippled or all this, I had my
- 14:30son watched videos where veterans went out to war and
- 14:35then whenever they came home, they didn't get the proper
- 14:38medical treatment or therapy and the kind of conclusion Andre Old
- 14:43son happen to people. If they even managed to survive
- 14:46War not and my son decided. No, he's not going to do that.
- 14:52Instead, he got him a good job. and started doing a lot of
- 14:57dating and getting himself in a relationships and then as many
- 15:06of you know, he did have a little bit of a difficulty with
- 15:10jobs for a while there because of this thickness that man's to
- 15:15make its way into America. You remember, everybody had to
- 15:19stay in their house or wear masks a lot of jobs let people
- 15:23off because they were afraid, they were going to get sick.
- 15:27Well, my son had a really, really fantastic job where he
- 15:31was getting paid almost 30 bucks an hour.
- 15:34And then He ended up having to do things that were less than
- 15:37that because of it, but he's since this crap is starting to
- 15:42dissipate. He's been taking a lot of really
- 15:46positive opportunities. My daughter for the last two
- 15:50years has been working. She has her own vehicle.
- 15:53Unfortunately, she still isn't fully sufficient than driving on
- 15:58her own. She still needs her mother to be
- 16:00in the past and decide to do this or a licensed driver.
- 16:07In. That's what it is nowadays.
- 16:15Whenever it comes to myself and not what's happening in the
- 16:17world personal desires, I have an ambitions.
- 16:23I'm really excited about a game that's coming out called star
- 16:26field where I'll get to explore the Universe.
- 16:29I made a video about it and I thought for sure that making a
- 16:33video about star field would get a lot of views and a lot of
- 16:37people would have discussions about it.
- 16:39There's a ton of featured people on YouTube who have been having
- 16:43discussions about it. But it's as if my video was like
- 16:47a fart in the wind, it got no attention.
- 16:50It didn't even break a hundred views.
- 16:52Was a little surprised at that. for whatever reason, it seems
- 16:59like, a lot of you out there more interested than this stuff
- 17:07that's going on in the news and everything in our Twitter,
- 17:09having to do with the lgbtq and you know, how Christians are
- 17:14being impacted and such so some of you may ask yourself over at
- 17:20why, why did you have issue with Do you still have issues with
- 17:27like atheist or anything? Not really, I don't hardly talk
- 17:32to any of them even anymore and the ones that I considered
- 17:37friends, they don't reach out ever, they only reach out
- 17:40whenever I say, hey, I'm doing a live show or something and then
- 17:43they might come in and talk about things they want to, but
- 17:48they rarely ask me questions, like, what's going on with you
- 17:51real life. That's one of the reasons why
- 17:54whenever I did my Pol my little quiz about what?
- 17:58What do you guys like to watch? And listen to, I was surprised
- 18:03Al even whenever my Christian friends are in the room, none of
- 18:07them ever asked me what have, what have I been doing
- 18:10throughout the week when I'm not making videos?
- 18:13It's like none of them ever really gave a shit about any of
- 18:16that. So I'm kind of surprised that my
- 18:18subscribers out there saying that you like to hear about my
- 18:22personal life. Honestly, I'm confused.
- 18:31I used to talk about my personal life all the time years ago.
- 18:36I used to share all kinds of different things but I noticed
- 18:40some people like to use my Because I was so honest about my
- 18:46flaws and my imperfections and about how I struggled and dealt
- 18:52with different things. Seem like, some people thought
- 18:55it was inspiring, but other people wanted to mine, quote, me
- 19:01and basically try to make me look like an asshole.
- 19:03I hope that's not the case still where people want me to put
- 19:07Secrets out there or things about myself, too, so they can
- 19:11Ram it up my ass. I don't know why anybody would
- 19:15do that. Anyway, if I haven't pointed out
- 19:17by now or made it, clear, I don't really care what people
- 19:21think about me. I don't care how they feel about
- 19:24me personally, But so be it, if there are people who genuinely
- 19:32want to know about me, then we'll talk about it.
- 19:36We'll talk about it at this point in my life.
- 19:43I would have to say that things are kind of lonely.
- 19:49They're lonely because my kids are constantly working than when
- 19:53they're not working, they're sleeping or they're, you know,
- 19:56taking the little time that they have to be able to enjoy the
- 19:59things they want to. I've been finding myself
- 20:05watching a lot of Television. I sit with my wife and we watch
- 20:10stuff, like, The Blacklist with James Spader, my daughter.
- 20:14And I, from time to time, like, to watch Criminal shows and
- 20:18things having to do with legal law, that type of stuff, for
- 20:23detective, type of shows where you investigate and catch
- 20:28criminals, that kind of thing. I noticed in the past few years,
- 20:36my family isn't really into comedies, anytime I say, hey,
- 20:40that ought to be funny. That ought to be silly.
- 20:43Oh no dad. Nobody wants to watch anything
- 20:47funny. However, we do have this thing
- 20:49where we were enjoying watching like superhero stuff, my son and
- 20:54I love watching Spider-Man. And my daughter likes the Flash
- 20:58and Supergirl but then as you probably heard a lot of these
- 21:03Hero shows and movies ended up getting screwed up.
- 21:07We used to like watching Star Wars together as well.
- 21:10But then, the woke organizations out there got involved, and they
- 21:16started killing our superheroes, or making them stupid.
- 21:20So it's hard to watch any of that anymore.
- 21:23We feel like we're not watching Super Heroes.
- 21:25Anymore were watching somebody's political views.
- 21:28Be Amplified through characters that we can't even recognize
- 21:32anymore. So that's, that's really hard,
- 21:39because the stuff that me and my family did enjoy watching.
- 21:42They kind of mutilated it, they destroyed it.
- 21:45They Corrupted it. If that's the word.
- 21:52Hmm. Nowadays, making YouTube videos
- 21:59feels very routine. I see a news article that I find
- 22:03interesting. I see how somebody got screwed
- 22:06over, I see how innocent people including children or screwed
- 22:10with and I see these articles and then I hit record and I
- 22:15speak, that's what I do. There's nothing fancy about it.
- 22:20I could I do have the ability. I'm a used to be in the audio.
- 22:26Engineering. And I'm very good at video
- 22:28editing. I could make Fancy videos like a
- 22:31lot of the stuff you see out there very flashy and colorful
- 22:35and moving across the screen and all that, but I don't really see
- 22:39a point in it. I was suggested this by someone,
- 22:45they said, right? You know how some of these
- 22:48videos that are not even as good as yours end up getting views if
- 22:53you make thumbnails where you make stupid faces, Yeah, it was
- 22:58actually suggested by people that my thumbnails ought to have
- 23:02me making really goofy faces. And I looked through my videos
- 23:06and I noticed the ones where I'm actually on the screen and I
- 23:09make a goofy face, those actually do get views and I
- 23:13don't know why. Why is it that someone's going
- 23:15to click on a video if I'm sticking my tongue out?
- 23:18Or I'm acting like a dumb dumb or something?
- 23:20I don't understand that. But there you go.
- 23:29That's a little bit about me. If you guys want to hear more it
- 23:33honestly it would be very helpful if people would
- 23:38specifically ask questions about what do you want to know about
- 23:41me? What do you want to know about
- 23:43God? What what is it about video
- 23:45games that you want to hear about?
- 23:47What is it that you want to have a discussion?
- 23:49I'm a very versatile person. I can talk about damn near
- 23:54anything and also enjoy myself at the same time talking to you
- 23:58especially if I know I'm actually talking directly to Lie
- 24:01to certain people out there. What would you like to hear?
- 24:05What do you want to know about me?
- 24:06What do you want to know about? Just anything in general about?
- 24:10What I think we'll go from there.
- 24:15If you don't respond or leave something, then I'll just have
- 24:19to take it as you just don't give this yet.
- 24:23God bless.
