- 0:02Speaker 1: On sky Leeds Australia. This is the Wider Panalty Show.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Good evening and welcome to the Rita Panehy Show. Coming
- 0:12Speaker 2: up tonight, a stellar lineup of guests covering the day's
- 0:15Speaker 2: biggest stories. Gary Hartgrave with the latest on the election
- 0:19Speaker 2: campaign and the David and Glyf battle in Queensland where
- 0:23Speaker 2: the local community is fighting back against eight Renewables. Giant,
- 0:28Speaker 2: the Great Douglas Murray will be with me shortly to
- 0:30Speaker 2: discuss everything from the Middle East to the Netflix series Adolescence,
- 0:35Speaker 2: and Army Horowitz will have the latest from the US
- 0:38Speaker 2: and Left is Losing. It features a Star Wars actor
- 0:42Speaker 2: bagging Star Wars were being too white.
- 0:45Speaker 3: Star Wars always had the viable being in the most
- 0:47Speaker 3: whitest elite space. This is a franchise, so why that's
- 0:51Speaker 3: like a black person existing in that was something.
- 0:55Speaker 2: But first a massive blow for the Albanezy government today
- 0:58Speaker 2: after Donald Trump's a base tariff rate of ten percent
- 1:02Speaker 2: on Australia as part of Liberation Day.
- 1:05Speaker 4: With today's actions, we're also standing up for our great
- 1:08Speaker 4: farmers and ranchers who are brutalized by nations all over
- 1:12Speaker 4: the World's brutalized Canada, by the way, imposes a two
- 1:17Speaker 4: hundred and fifty to three hundred percent tariff on many
- 1:20Speaker 4: of our dairy products. Australia bands and they're wonderful people
- 1:25Speaker 4: and wonderful everything, but they ban American beef. Yet we
- 1:29Speaker 4: imported three billion dollars of Australian beef from them just
- 1:33Speaker 4: last year alone.
- 1:35Speaker 2: The Prime Minister had this to say in response.
- 1:38Speaker 5: The administration's tariffs have no basis in logic and they
- 1:42Speaker 5: go against the basis of our two nations partnership.
- 1:46Speaker 6: This is not the act of a friend.
- 1:48Speaker 2: And this is how Opposition leader Peter Darton responded.
- 1:52Speaker 7: The focus that we should have as a gount term
- 1:56Speaker 7: and as an alternative government is to do a deal
- 1:59Speaker 7: on that as quickly as possible so that we can
- 2:02Speaker 7: reduce the impact on Australians, on our industry and on
- 2:07Speaker 7: our export capability.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Joining me now for more on this as Sky News
- 2:10Speaker 2: contributor Gary Hardgrave, Gary, none of this should be a surprise.
- 2:15Speaker 2: This is the America First policy Trump campaigned on, and
- 2:20Speaker 2: the Alberanzi government has botched the response. Donald Trump is
- 2:25Speaker 2: not even taking Anthony Albernizi's phone calls. He'd know well
- 2:31Speaker 2: what Australian politicians, including the Prime Minister and his ministers,
- 2:36Speaker 2: have said about him over the years, and that hasn't
- 2:39Speaker 2: helped our case.
- 2:42Speaker 5: Look at it hasn't. There's no doubt about that. There
- 2:44Speaker 5: is not a strong relationship between this prime minister and
- 2:48Speaker 5: that president, and it's been set up by this Prime
- 2:51Speaker 5: minister the blurting of all sorts of insights to him
- 2:54Speaker 5: years ago as just really coming home to rust. But
- 2:57Speaker 5: we also started a lot of this. You know, we
- 2:59Speaker 5: started to bring in things like a GST on imported
- 3:01Speaker 5: items that you brought through on mail ord out of
- 3:04Speaker 5: places like the United States. So you know, from their
- 3:06Speaker 5: point of view, they're saying, well, you know, you brought
- 3:08Speaker 5: in a ten percent terrify on us, which is what
- 3:11Speaker 5: basically they're seeing it as.
- 3:12Speaker 8: So here's what on you.
- 3:14Speaker 5: Look, you know, our farmers are in real peril and
- 3:18Speaker 5: we should, I think, move this conversation onto what is
- 3:21Speaker 5: really coming their way. The real cost to our farmers
- 3:25Speaker 5: is the high cost of electricity, the high cost of
- 3:27Speaker 5: government regulation and red tape. This is a government, the
- 3:31Speaker 5: other and easy government that likes to just find new
- 3:34Speaker 5: taxes to hurt people in new ways. They really don't
- 3:37Speaker 5: have any commitment to the agricultural sector. For instance, they're
- 3:40Speaker 5: talking about the same thing Kamala Harris talked about last year,
- 3:44Speaker 5: and that is to have an unrealized capital gains tax.
- 3:47Speaker 5: What's the first thing that they're targeting farmers. So if
- 3:51Speaker 5: you own a block of dirt and you gras on it,
- 3:53Speaker 5: the tax office each year is going to actually look
- 3:56Speaker 5: and say what the value of that dirt is, and
- 3:58Speaker 5: by the way, we're going to take up percent off you.
- 4:01Speaker 5: These are the sorts of things we've got to get
- 4:02Speaker 5: rid of that and cheaper electricity prices. And until we do,
- 4:06Speaker 5: and until we put Australia first, then frankly, we really
- 4:10Speaker 5: have nothing to complain about. I mean, the Americans are
- 4:13Speaker 5: looking after themselves. I don't like what Trump's done, but
- 4:17Speaker 5: he's looking after himself. It's playing well in America until
- 4:21Speaker 5: I guess the price of Big Mexico up. It probably will.
- 4:23Speaker 8: But reader, we are.
- 4:25Speaker 5: Sitting lazily expecting the world to make a living for us.
- 4:30Speaker 5: And until we start to look at how government costs
- 4:34Speaker 5: and electricity prices are damaging all things in the supply chain,
- 4:38Speaker 5: the production chain in this country. I don't think we're serious.
- 4:40Speaker 5: The Prime Minister doesn't want you to look at that.
- 4:42Speaker 5: He says, pick on Trump and vote against Darton to
- 4:45Speaker 5: send a message to Trump. This is crazy politics. Crazy
- 4:50Speaker 5: it is.
- 4:50Speaker 2: It is crazy policy. It's infantile. It's aimed at the
- 4:55Speaker 2: low information voter. But we need an Australia first policy
- 4:59Speaker 2: right here and starting with our energy policy. That would
- 5:03Speaker 2: be fantastic to see. I'll be speaking to Army Horowitz
- 5:07Speaker 2: shortly about the tariffs a little bit more and what's
- 5:10Speaker 2: to come next Now to what is being described in
- 5:13Speaker 2: the Australian newspaper as the ultimate David versus Goliath case.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Rainforest Reserves Australia, a small charity based in North Queensland,
- 5:22Speaker 2: is taking the Federal government and an Andrew Forest Back
- 5:26Speaker 2: Renewable Energy Company to court over a plan sixty nine
- 5:31Speaker 2: turbine wind farm, located five kilometers from the Wet Tropics
- 5:36Speaker 2: World Heritage Area, Gary. This project is set to involve
- 5:40Speaker 2: the clearing of around six hundred hectares of land home
- 5:44Speaker 2: to koalas and others vulnerable species. How did the Environment
- 5:50Speaker 2: Minister Tania Plevisek ever approve this project.
- 5:55Speaker 5: Well, amongst the many projects he approved within days of
- 5:58Speaker 5: becoming the minister. This project stands out. There's another one
- 6:01Speaker 5: near Low Discreek, northwest of Rockhampton. I spoke to a conservationist,
- 6:06Speaker 5: a photographer yesterday on the radio on FOROURBC here in
- 6:09Speaker 5: Brisbane and he made that point that one hundred and
- 6:12Speaker 5: eighty koalas have already been displaced and there is a
- 6:16Speaker 5: project to put up twenty five million dollar wind turbines.
- 6:20Speaker 5: This project is costing everybody a lot of money through
- 6:25Speaker 5: higher electricity prices, but it's killing and wiping off the
- 6:28Speaker 5: tops of mountains because there's not a great lot of
- 6:32Speaker 5: breeze on the plains in Queensland compared to some other
- 6:35Speaker 5: parts of the world. And yet they're applying a European
- 6:38Speaker 5: standard to Australia. So they lock the top off the mountains,
- 6:41Speaker 5: they kill off the koala habitat, they pollute the creeks
- 6:45Speaker 5: with all the debris that gets thrown down in the creeks,
- 6:48Speaker 5: that washes out on the Great Barrier reef, and reader
- 6:50Speaker 5: they don't have to follow any of the environmental laws.
- 6:53Speaker 5: Every farmer, every householder, every other council whatever around Australia
- 6:57Speaker 5: has to follow. Renewable energy prietors can do what they
- 7:01Speaker 5: done well, like to the environment and the federal government
- 7:04Speaker 5: Pliversec in particular Bowhen as well, but Elbows allowing it
- 7:08Speaker 5: to happen have just signed off on it. They just
- 7:11Speaker 5: don't get it. And the one at Lotus Creek near
- 7:13Speaker 5: Rockhampton is going to produce zero point five of a
- 7:17Speaker 5: percent of the electricity needs of Queensland. This is just
- 7:21Speaker 5: parendous and we should be angry about it.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Absolutely. And to see Tony Pliversec approved a renewal project
- 7:31Speaker 2: like this is just going to destroy hundreds of hectares
- 7:33Speaker 2: of forests. But she then rejects a billion dollar gold
- 7:37Speaker 2: mine on the basis of a contested indigenous blue banded
- 7:42Speaker 2: b story, a project that would have provided hundreds of
- 7:46Speaker 2: millions in royalties to the New South Wales government, hundreds
- 7:50Speaker 2: of well paid jobs in a regional area that desperately
- 7:54Speaker 2: needs it. It is madness. Now before you go, I'm
- 7:58Speaker 2: interested in your take on this. Watch here. As a
- 8:01Speaker 2: female fencer, Stephanie Turner was immediately disqualified and expelled from
- 8:07Speaker 2: a USA fencing event after she refused to compete against
- 8:11Speaker 2: a transgender oppoement, Redmond Sullivan, who used to compete in
- 8:15Speaker 2: the men's competition. She took her knee. Gary, I absolutely
- 8:34Speaker 2: applaud her stance here. Every female athlete should do something similar.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Shame on the sporting body there for punishing her the
- 8:41Speaker 2: way they have. But it is just patently unfair to
- 8:45Speaker 2: expect a female athlete to compete at an elite level,
- 8:48Speaker 2: any level, against a competitor that identifies as female but
- 8:52Speaker 2: is biologically male.
- 8:56Speaker 5: Yeah, she's a new hero reader. I found this out
- 8:59Speaker 5: at primary school. Well, you know, in year three, the
- 9:01Speaker 5: boys didn't compete against the girls. The girls had their
- 9:03Speaker 5: comp the boys had theirs. Because the boys, we're going
- 9:07Speaker 5: to play a different game to the girls. What's changed,
- 9:09Speaker 5: Nothing except the wokeness that's destroying civil society across the West.
- 9:15Speaker 1: It's crazy stuff.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Gary Hardgrove, thank you so much for your time. Joining
- 9:21Speaker 2: me now is best selling author Douglas Murray. His latest
- 9:25Speaker 2: book on democracies and death cults, Israel and the Future
- 9:29Speaker 2: of Civilization, will be released in just a few days. Douglas,
- 9:33Speaker 2: Let's start in the US, where President Trump has declared
- 9:37Speaker 2: today Liberation Day as he imposes reciprocal tariffs on countries
- 9:42Speaker 2: including Australia. Meanwhile, the Democrats post election meltdown is reaching
- 9:47Speaker 2: new lows with Corey Booker's twenty five hour anti Trump speech.
- 9:52Speaker 9: I confess that I've been inadequate to the moment. I
- 9:55Speaker 9: confess that the Democratic Party has made terrible mistakes that
- 10:01Speaker 9: it given wayne to this demogogue Douglas.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Where you left inspired by that record breaking performance.
- 10:10Speaker 6: Well, I was slightly in awe of Corey Booker's vervocity.
- 10:15Speaker 6: It's obviously remarkable even for him to be able to
- 10:19Speaker 6: sustain that for twenty five hours. Of course, however, everyone
- 10:23Speaker 6: knows filibusters are effectually the.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Weakest form of politics.
- 10:29Speaker 6: They don't rely on argument, they don't rely on persuasion,
- 10:32Speaker 6: they don't rely on reason, They rely on a kind
- 10:36Speaker 6: of rhetorical brute force and the longevity of the speaker.
- 10:43Speaker 6: I mean, it's a remarkable thing to see this applauded
- 10:47Speaker 6: as we've just seen there. It's a feat, as I say,
- 10:51Speaker 6: but it's also a defeat. It's a defeat because the
- 10:55Speaker 6: Democrats should be able to be coming up with their
- 10:58Speaker 6: own arguments and their own policies that could persuade the
- 11:02Speaker 6: American electorate in a little under two years time. That
- 11:06Speaker 6: they deserve to have control of the House and the Senate.
- 11:10Speaker 6: And nothing that we've heard from the Democrats really since
- 11:15Speaker 6: the election of Donald Trump has been anything really other
- 11:19Speaker 6: than a kind of filibustering and a sort of online
- 11:24Speaker 6: attention seeking. There's no meat to the bone of anything
- 11:30Speaker 6: they've said. It's just this kind of It's not even politics,
- 11:35Speaker 6: is it. It's just a sort of student grade rebellion.
- 11:40Speaker 2: It's performative, isn't it. It's a bit of a performance
- 11:43Speaker 2: element to it. And it's no surprise that the Democrats
- 11:47Speaker 2: in Congress right now have a twenty one percent approval rating,
- 11:52Speaker 2: another record there, and the left in the US seems
- 11:56Speaker 2: to be in crisis. They keep listening to the most
- 12:00Speaker 2: voices in and out of the party. And Ellie Misstelle
- 12:04Speaker 2: maybe an example.
- 12:05Speaker 10: Every law passed before in the nineteen sixty five Voting
- 12:08Speaker 10: Rights Act should be presumptively unconstitutional. Right, But because before
- 12:12Speaker 10: the nineteen sixty five Voting Rights Act we were functionally
- 12:15Speaker 10: in apartheid country, not everybody who lived here could vote here,
- 12:19Speaker 10: So why should I give about some law that some
- 12:22Speaker 10: old white men passed in the nineteen twenties.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Of course, the view makes another appearance. What do you
- 12:27Speaker 2: make of that call Douglas laws written by old white
- 12:31Speaker 2: men in the nineteen twenties, Well, that should just be disregarded.
- 12:36Speaker 6: I always like to when you see performative idiots like
- 12:40Speaker 6: that doing their thing, I always like to sort of
- 12:42Speaker 6: try and just take it and see if it would
- 12:45Speaker 6: work any other way around.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Is there any country on earth that you would allow.
- 12:50Speaker 6: Someone to say these laws don't matter because they were
- 12:54Speaker 6: written by black men.
- 12:57Speaker 1: I can't think of it.
- 12:59Speaker 6: It would see rather distasteful, my ears. It would sound
- 13:04Speaker 6: rather demogogic. Rather even you might say racist. Why is
- 13:09Speaker 6: it that someone like this clown thinks and he only
- 13:14Speaker 6: gets a career because this is basically his only shtick
- 13:17Speaker 6: is he thinks that if he's as racist as possible
- 13:21Speaker 6: against white people and keeps sort of reminding everyone that
- 13:24Speaker 6: he's black, that he somehow wins.
- 13:26Speaker 1: But that isn't an argument. That's just racist demagoguery.
- 13:32Speaker 6: And as I say, you know, find me a place
- 13:34Speaker 6: where dismissing old black men, for instance, was regarded as
- 13:39Speaker 6: being a good argument, a reasonable argument, a persuasive argument.
- 13:45Speaker 6: This guy is as ridiculous as he looks, And I
- 13:49Speaker 6: don't think we need to pay much heed to him.
- 13:51Speaker 6: He's dismissed himself by the words he uses and by
- 13:55Speaker 6: the racism that he likes to scream.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Yes, whilst supposedly fighting racism. Now, let's talk about the
- 14:04Speaker 2: Middle East, and there are growing fears that if world
- 14:07Speaker 2: powers are unable to quickly reach a new agreement with
- 14:10Speaker 2: the Iranian regime over its nuclear program, then a military
- 14:13Speaker 2: confrontation is almost inevitable. There are reports that the US
- 14:17Speaker 2: and Israel are coordinating a major strike against Iran, and
- 14:23Speaker 2: it all depends on whether Tehran will come to the
- 14:26Speaker 2: negotiation negotiating table. Douglas. Iran's denies it's seeking nuclear weapons,
- 14:33Speaker 2: but Western powers know well that the nuclear program is
- 14:38Speaker 2: just a disguised effort to develop a bomb and atomic bomb,
- 14:43Speaker 2: and the Iranian regime is crazy enough to actually use it.
- 14:49Speaker 6: Yes, I mean as the Iranian revolutionary governments pretends that
- 14:56Speaker 6: it's simply seeking weapons raid uranium in order to build
- 15:03Speaker 6: a civilian and nuclear energy facility is something that nobody
- 15:09Speaker 6: but an apologist for the regime could possibly agree with.
- 15:15Speaker 1: It's been trying to get a nuclear bomb for many
- 15:18Speaker 1: years now.
- 15:19Speaker 6: The only reason that it hasn't is because of significant
- 15:22Speaker 6: largely covert action taken against them that has slowed that
- 15:27Speaker 6: weapons program down.
- 15:29Speaker 1: If the crazy uranium mullahs.
- 15:31Speaker 6: In Tehran actually ever did get a weapon, the world
- 15:35Speaker 6: would be the Middle East and then the wider world
- 15:37Speaker 6: would be an incredibly peralleous situation, the most dangerous situation
- 15:41Speaker 6: we've been in since nineteen forty five, because nobody knows
- 15:46Speaker 6: how you do nuclear detone, that is nuclear deterrence against
- 15:52Speaker 6: an end times Harmanist ideologue regime like that which has
- 15:57Speaker 6: been a pressing Iran for the last forty something years.
- 16:03Speaker 1: It's an incredibly dangerous corner. It has.
- 16:06Speaker 6: It's been a corner that we've been at for many years.
- 16:11Speaker 6: One of the remarkable things, many remarkable things that the
- 16:17Speaker 6: Shiai extremists in Tehran have been doing just in recent days,
- 16:22Speaker 6: has been that members of that so called government have
- 16:26Speaker 6: been threatening the United States, threatening the United States with
- 16:31Speaker 6: Italian with Iranian retaliation, with Iranian retaliation if the Americans.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Don't do what they want.
- 16:42Speaker 6: Clearly, the revolutionary Islamic government in Iran thinks it holds
- 16:46Speaker 6: the cards here, but nobody could really say it does.
- 16:49Speaker 6: But if people love the rhetoric that comes out of
- 16:52Speaker 6: Tehran and has been coming out of Tehran since nineteen
- 16:56Speaker 6: seventy nine. If they love the rhetoric that comes out
- 16:59Speaker 6: of it at the moment, you know, the death to America,
- 17:02Speaker 6: death of the Infidels stuff, they'll love how the revolutionary
- 17:07Speaker 6: Islamic government and Terran behaves if it never had a
- 17:10Speaker 6: nuclear bomb.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Well, you just do not know what they are capable of.
- 17:19Speaker 2: You look at how they have oppressed and brutalized their
- 17:21Speaker 2: own population, as you've said, for more than forty years
- 17:24Speaker 2: since the Islamic Revolution, and that is one regime that
- 17:28Speaker 2: if they had the bomb, they may well use it.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Let's go to the UK now and the bizarre influence
- 17:35Speaker 2: of a Netflix series that this Netflix series seems to
- 17:39Speaker 2: be setting government policy. Kissed Starma released this two minute
- 17:45Speaker 2: video announcing that the series Adolescence would be free in
- 17:49Speaker 2: secondary schools across the UK and Douglas Labor is using
- 17:54Speaker 2: this drama and it is a drama about young men
- 17:57Speaker 2: being radicalized online to help but formulate policy.
- 18:05Speaker 1: It's an extraordinary thing.
- 18:07Speaker 6: Kirs Starmer has been laboring under the misapprehension that the
- 18:13Speaker 6: Netflix series Adolescence is in fact a documentary. It's true
- 18:19Speaker 6: that it's filmed rather documentary style, but you'd have to
- 18:24Speaker 6: be pretty idiotic to think that's what it is. It
- 18:27Speaker 6: could have just been a slip of the tongue by
- 18:29Speaker 6: kids Starmer.
- 18:30Speaker 1: What's not a slip of the tongue.
- 18:32Speaker 6: Is treating it as if this semi interesting, very well
- 18:38Speaker 6: acted series is the sort of thing you should announce
- 18:41Speaker 6: government policy on the back of. I mean, here's a
- 18:44Speaker 6: really strange thing about this. Kiss Starmer and other British
- 18:49Speaker 6: politicians trying to leap on the sort of Netflix binge
- 18:53Speaker 6: bandwagon have been behaving as if we have an epidemic
- 18:58Speaker 6: in the UK of thirteen year old white boys stabbing
- 19:04Speaker 6: girls because of Andrew tape videos they've seen online and
- 19:10Speaker 6: I don't know what fantasy world they live in. There
- 19:13Speaker 6: are all sorts of concerns people should have about online
- 19:17Speaker 6: content and young people's access to it.
- 19:19Speaker 1: They are all sorts of.
- 19:20Speaker 6: Concerns people should have about certain online influencers pushing very
- 19:25Speaker 6: very ugly ideas about women and misleading them in the
- 19:30Speaker 6: early informative years of their lives. But you know, the
- 19:35Speaker 6: thing that everyone has just ignored is the fact that
- 19:37Speaker 6: that isn't an epidemic in the UK. The UK, by
- 19:41Speaker 6: the way, is very good at moral panics about things
- 19:44Speaker 6: that don't exist. About what Twelve years ago we had
- 19:48Speaker 6: the moral panic led by people like LBC in London
- 19:54Speaker 6: that a secret cabal of prominent military and political chiefs
- 19:59Speaker 6: had been getting together for years to rape and mutilate
- 20:03Speaker 6: and murder children.
- 20:05Speaker 9: And guess what.
- 20:07Speaker 6: It turned out not to be true. It turned out
- 20:10Speaker 6: that one person who it was himself subsequently convicted of
- 20:14Speaker 6: pedophile offenses, had made.
- 20:17Speaker 8: It all up.
- 20:17Speaker 1: But the British media and indeed parliamentarians.
- 20:20Speaker 6: Went for it.
- 20:20Speaker 1: They went in this massive moral panic.
- 20:22Speaker 6: Ah, are our generals and former cabinet ministers a secret
- 20:26Speaker 6: pedophile about?
- 20:27Speaker 1: The Britain is very.
- 20:30Speaker 6: Used to this sort of thing in the modern ere.
- 20:31Speaker 6: It seems uniquely vulnerable to it. But here's a challenge
- 20:35Speaker 6: to Netflix and indeed to Kire Starmer. We do have
- 20:40Speaker 6: an epidemic of knife crime in the UK, and we
- 20:43Speaker 6: have an epidemic of it in the capital city of London.
- 20:47Speaker 6: And you know, if you look at the knife crime
- 20:51Speaker 6: statistics in London in recent years, you see a very
- 20:55Speaker 6: alarming thing. Indeed, black on black young gang violence in
- 21:00Speaker 6: the capital city of the UK has been an.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Actual epidemic in recent years.
- 21:07Speaker 6: The majority of knife crimes committed in London is committed
- 21:11Speaker 6: by young black men.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Now they formed.
- 21:14Speaker 6: The black community in London is around thirteen percent of
- 21:17Speaker 6: the population, but they have consistently in recent years represent
- 21:23Speaker 6: more than sixty percent of people committing knife crimes. And
- 21:26Speaker 6: guess who the largest number of people are who are
- 21:29Speaker 6: on the receiving ends of those knives and machetes, other
- 21:33Speaker 6: young black men. That's a real epidemic and it's a
- 21:36Speaker 6: real problem. It's something that's actually going on. But you know,
- 21:40Speaker 6: I bet we could hold our breath for the moment
- 21:43Speaker 6: that Netflix will decide to address that, and we'll have
- 21:47Speaker 6: to hold our breath until the Prime Minister addresses it,
- 21:51Speaker 6: because neither the Prime Minister nor the highly distracted Mayor
- 21:57Speaker 6: of London, Sadik Khan, have done.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Anything to address this. They don't even care to talk
- 22:02Speaker 1: about it.
- 22:03Speaker 6: There will be no Netflix documentary that Starmer or Khan
- 22:07Speaker 6: can see that people should watch in British schools about
- 22:10Speaker 6: black on black gang violence because it's a real thing.
- 22:14Speaker 1: It'll never get made and they'll continue to cover it up.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Absolutely. Or perhaps a Netflix series on young men being
- 22:23Speaker 2: radicalized by Bislamists. We've had several stabbings because of that.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Allegedly we've got one before the courts right now. And
- 22:34Speaker 2: also the entire grooming gang scandal. I mean, where's the
- 22:38Speaker 2: Netflix series on that. These are real epidemics that have
- 22:42Speaker 2: occurred in the UK and they're ignored and supposedly, ye
- 22:45Speaker 2: thirteen year old white boys are a danger to the nation.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Before you go over, got to ask you about Prince Harry.
- 22:53Speaker 2: His charity center Bali is in turmoil. The Duke of
- 22:56Speaker 2: Sussex has stepped away from the charity last week as
- 22:59Speaker 2: the the head of the foundation accused him of harassment
- 23:05Speaker 2: and bullying at Scale and Douglas. You won't be shocked
- 23:07Speaker 2: to learn that a lot of the turmoil is supposedly
- 23:12Speaker 2: due to Meghan. Harry reportedly sent an angry message to
- 23:15Speaker 2: the charity head because she had refused to defend Meghan
- 23:19Speaker 2: Markel following these embarrassing scenes at a charity polo match
- 23:25Speaker 2: in April twenty twenty four. This is not a good
- 23:30Speaker 2: look for Prince Harry, is it.
- 23:33Speaker 6: I mean, nothing says down to Earth more than a
- 23:38Speaker 6: row over a polo tournament.
- 23:44Speaker 1: It's very ugly.
- 23:46Speaker 6: I have to say, because somebody observed today in the
- 23:49Speaker 6: Spectator magazine, most of these Harry Meghan scandals are sort
- 23:54Speaker 6: of a scandal that occurs, or something very unways that occurs,
- 23:58Speaker 6: and it just sort.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Of diminishes over time.
- 24:01Speaker 6: Unfortunately, the charity from the Soto who Prince Harry was
- 24:06Speaker 6: involved with very nobly to have done. So everything we've
- 24:11Speaker 6: actually found out about the breakdown of relationships between him
- 24:15Speaker 6: and his own charity, it just gets worse and worse,
- 24:20Speaker 6: and all of the information that's coming out from that
- 24:24Speaker 6: charity of the people in Africa have actually been.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Involved with it is more and more concerned.
- 24:28Speaker 6: There is one upside, of course to the Prince, the
- 24:34Speaker 6: Duke and indeed his Duchess, which is that if the
- 24:37Speaker 6: bad news keeps on coming out, at least they've got
- 24:40Speaker 6: Meghan's latest invention to console them. Because I don't know
- 24:44Speaker 6: if you've noticed a Rita, but Meghan has not been
- 24:48Speaker 6: silent in recent times.
- 24:49Speaker 1: She's been working on something, a.
- 24:50Speaker 6: Totally new thing, and it's called jam, and she is
- 24:56Speaker 6: selling jam and it seems to be, in herview, almost
- 25:01Speaker 6: the first time that anyone's made jam. And you can
- 25:05Speaker 6: buy Meghan Jam and It's apparently absolutely delicious according to Meghan,
- 25:11Speaker 6: and so if the dire media stories continue, at least
- 25:17Speaker 6: the Sussexes console themselves with a lovely pot of original
- 25:22Speaker 6: jam that's definitely made with Meghan's own hands.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Yes, that's that's really how we're going to solve world peace.
- 25:32Speaker 2: I think one jam jar at a time. Douglas Murray,
- 25:36Speaker 2: thank you so much for your time tonight. Thank you
- 25:40Speaker 2: still to come left these losing it. Plus we'll have
- 25:44Speaker 2: the latest from the US where today Mega became Mawah
- 25:48Speaker 2: Naked America wealthy again. The horror Witz has the details.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Welcome back. It's time for lefties losing it. I must
- 26:05Speaker 2: confess I have never seen a Star Wars film or
- 26:08Speaker 2: Star Trek film. Couldn't tell you if there is a
- 26:10Speaker 2: difference between the two. And it's just as well that
- 26:13Speaker 2: I have been spared these movies because, according to the
- 26:17Speaker 2: lefty star of the latest franchise, John Boyega, Star Wars
- 26:21Speaker 2: fans are racist, white elitist and the film has occupied
- 26:26Speaker 2: the whitest space they're pandering.
- 26:31Speaker 3: Let me tell you, Star Wars always had the viable
- 26:33Speaker 3: being in the most whitest elite space. This is a
- 26:36Speaker 3: franchise is so white that it's like a black person
- 26:39Speaker 3: existing in That was something and you can always tell
- 26:42Speaker 3: it something. When some Star Wars fans tried to say, well,
- 26:45Speaker 3: you know, we had Lando Calrissian and had Sammie l.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Jackson, it's like telling.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Me how many cookie chips are on the cookie though
- 26:52Speaker 3: I'm like, brother, it's just they just that in.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Their broad they're okay with us playing the best friend.
- 26:58Speaker 3: But once we touched the heroes, once we leave, once
- 27:01Speaker 3: we Trailblazers, like, oh my god, it's just a bit
- 27:04Speaker 3: too much.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Now, feel like a cookie. That was a bit of
- 27:08Speaker 2: a odd analogy, wasn't it? To DC now, where Republican
- 27:12Speaker 2: politicians are fighting back against the soy boy lefty protesters
- 27:17Speaker 2: and they are being savage. Here is Tim Burchett.
- 27:21Speaker 5: Do you trust some.
- 27:21Speaker 6: From's National security team to keep our work plan on
- 27:24Speaker 6: this top secret?
- 27:25Speaker 7: Do you trust your mother every night to fix your
- 27:28Speaker 7: hot pockets and make sure your game boy is turned on?
- 27:33Speaker 2: Oh my word, he said, Do you trust your mama
- 27:36Speaker 2: Avery and I to fix your hot pockets and make
- 27:39Speaker 2: sure your game boy is turned on? Brilliant? Brilliant. And
- 27:43Speaker 2: here is Jim Banks being accosted by a left wing
- 27:47Speaker 2: activists who has been sacked from his tax pay role.
- 27:50Speaker 8: Hi.
- 27:50Speaker 11: I was a worker at HHS, so I was fired
- 27:53Speaker 11: illegally on February fourteenth.
- 27:55Speaker 12: Are there many people who are not getting social service,
- 28:00Speaker 12: especially people with disabilities?
- 28:02Speaker 10: Are you going to do anything to stop what's happening?
- 28:04Speaker 8: You probably deserved it.
- 28:05Speaker 1: I deserved it. I deserved it. Wow.
- 28:08Speaker 12: Yeah, that's great to hear.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Why why did I deserve it?
- 28:11Speaker 12: Because you seem like a clown?
- 28:13Speaker 13: Okay, sir, you shouldn't have said that.
- 28:15Speaker 2: Oh, he shouldn't have said that. I bet he's really
- 28:18Speaker 2: sorry now that there is a medium meltdown about that interaction.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Just how sorry are you, Jim?
- 28:25Speaker 1: I won't back down.
- 28:26Speaker 12: I won't apologize for it. I support President Trump and
- 28:30Speaker 12: the DOGE effort one hundred percent to cut wasteful spending
- 28:34Speaker 12: and woke jobs out of the federal government.
- 28:37Speaker 1: And we're just getting started.
- 28:38Speaker 12: The Democrats and the left wing media have lost their
- 28:41Speaker 12: minds because I told a left wing activist in the
- 28:45Speaker 12: halls of the Senate office buildings yesterday what I really
- 28:49Speaker 12: thought a clown is a clown who's chasing senators through
- 28:53Speaker 12: the halls with a cell phone complaining about losing a
- 28:57Speaker 12: left wing, woke job in the federal government that have
- 29:00Speaker 12: never been a job to begin with.
- 29:02Speaker 2: He is not sorry at all, and nor should he be,
- 29:05Speaker 2: because despite the media lies, the Department of Government Efficiency
- 29:09Speaker 2: is not cutting welfare other than to one hundred and
- 29:13Speaker 2: fifty year old recipients. Watch this CNN host Abby Phillips
- 29:17Speaker 2: being fact checked on our own program.
- 29:19Speaker 13: He came to the state, he talked about cutting medicaid,
- 29:23Speaker 13: social security through DOGE bring those issues up, actually never talked.
- 29:27Speaker 8: He explicitly said agree he would not cut some security.
- 29:29Speaker 8: We exactly what he said at his rally. No other
- 29:32Speaker 8: people said about that, but I was there. I watched him.
- 29:35Speaker 13: He did not say other people at his rallies, who
- 29:38Speaker 13: work for dogs, who worked for Elon Musk's organization, talked
- 29:41Speaker 13: about those issues.
- 29:42Speaker 8: No, I was at the rally. They said that. That's
- 29:44Speaker 8: what protesters said, but nobody there actually. So you think
- 29:47Speaker 8: that there are risks here, there are people believe the
- 29:50Speaker 8: lives of That's not at all what they said. If
- 29:54Speaker 8: people believe that medicaid medicares can be touched, that's a flat, right,
- 29:57Speaker 8: upright life. What he talked about are people whoever one
- 29:59Speaker 8: hundred twenty years old? Wow, clearly or not all the lies?
- 30:03Speaker 2: They're not even alive, Abby, They're not even alive one
- 30:06Speaker 2: hundred and twenty year old welfare recipients. Meanwhile, the Democrats
- 30:11Speaker 2: are embarrassing themselves with more meltdowns. The post election mass
- 30:16Speaker 2: meltdown has not stopped. Watch here as Senator Corey Booker
- 30:21Speaker 2: manages to speak for twenty five hours straight in a
- 30:26Speaker 2: completely pointless filibuster, A twenty five hour, NonStop tantrum about
- 30:31Speaker 2: Donald Trump Elon Musk. It is embarrassing.
- 30:35Speaker 9: What do I want for my fellow Americans? Do better
- 30:38Speaker 9: than me, do better than we in this body. We
- 30:44Speaker 9: are flawed and failed people. When is it going to
- 30:47Speaker 9: be enough? My voice is inadequate, My efforts today are
- 30:51Speaker 9: inadequate to stop what they're trying to do. But we
- 30:56Speaker 9: the people are powerful, We are strong. We have changed history,
- 31:01Speaker 9: we have bet the arc of the moral universe. And
- 31:03Speaker 9: now is that moral moment again? It's the moral moment again.
- 31:10Speaker 9: God bless America.
- 31:11Speaker 10: We need you now.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Just hours upon hours of blustering, performative craziness, not even
- 31:18Speaker 2: a toilet break throughout all that. I wonder if it
- 31:21Speaker 2: was wearing an adult nappy, and they wonder why the
- 31:24Speaker 2: Democrats in Congress have an approval rating of twenty one percent.
- 31:28Speaker 2: Now to another delicious case of instant coma. Let's first
- 31:33Speaker 2: listen to this lefty boast about his hacking and doxing
- 31:36Speaker 2: efforts against Conservatives.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Yes, I docked the truckers.
- 31:40Speaker 10: I did it.
- 31:40Speaker 14: It was me.
- 31:41Speaker 1: I had to give some go baby, and I do
- 31:45Speaker 1: it again?
- 31:51Speaker 14: Can I do it times?
- 31:54Speaker 1: I did it? I did it.
- 31:57Speaker 8: Come at me?
- 31:57Speaker 2: What are you to do? What are you to do today?
- 32:01Speaker 2: What are you gonna do to me?
- 32:02Speaker 14: Well?
- 32:03Speaker 2: Charge you with various offenses.
- 32:05Speaker 15: Arrested in charged with stealing data from the Texas Republican Party.
- 32:09Speaker 15: According to a press release from the Department of Justice,
- 32:12Speaker 15: thirty seven year old Aubrey Cottle faces multiple charges after
- 32:17Speaker 15: allegedly hacking texasgp dot org back in twenty twenty one.
- 32:22Speaker 15: Cottle is accused of downloading a backup of the web
- 32:25Speaker 15: server and sharing personal and other sensitive information. The charges
- 32:29Speaker 15: were filed in an Austin federal court. If convicted, he
- 32:33Speaker 15: faces five years in prison in the US and could
- 32:37Speaker 15: also face additional charges in Canada.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Now today was sdopped Liberation day when Mega became MAWA
- 32:45Speaker 2: make America Wealthy again.
- 32:47Speaker 4: April second, twenty twenty five will forever be remembered as
- 32:51Speaker 4: the day American industry was reborn, the day America's destiny
- 32:57Speaker 4: was reclaimed, and the day that we began and to
- 33:01Speaker 4: make America wealthy again.
- 33:04Speaker 8: Going to make it wealthy, good, and wealthy.
- 33:06Speaker 2: And President Trump emphasized this is about equality. America will
- 33:11Speaker 2: no longer be enriching the world at the expense of
- 33:14Speaker 2: its own industries and citizens.
- 33:16Speaker 4: It's our declaration of economic independence. For years hard work
- 33:21Speaker 4: in American citizens were forced to sit on the sidelines
- 33:24Speaker 4: as other nations got rich and powerful, much of it
- 33:28Speaker 4: at our expense. But now it's our turn to prosper
- 33:32Speaker 4: and in so doing, use trillions and trillions of dollars
- 33:36Speaker 4: to reduce our taxes and pay down our national debt.
- 33:39Speaker 4: And it'll all happen very quickly.
- 33:42Speaker 2: And this message is nothing new. Donald Trump campaigned on it.
- 33:46Speaker 2: It underpins the America First philosophy behind the entire Trump phenomenon,
- 33:52Speaker 2: and indeed he's been talking about it for decades. Here
- 33:56Speaker 2: he is talking about this back in nineteen eighty eight.
- 34:00Speaker 2: What would you do differently, Donald.
- 34:02Speaker 16: I'd make our allies forgetting about the enemies, the enemies
- 34:04Speaker 16: you can't talk to so easily. I'd make our allies
- 34:07Speaker 16: pay their fair share. It's not free trade. If you
- 34:09Speaker 16: ever go to Japan right now and try to sell something,
- 34:11Speaker 16: forget about it, open, just forget about it. It's almost impossible.
- 34:14Speaker 16: They don't have laws against it. They just make it impossible.
- 34:17Speaker 16: They come over here, they sell their cars, their VCRs.
- 34:20Speaker 16: They knock the hell out of our companies. And hey,
- 34:22Speaker 16: I have tremendous respect for the Japanese people. I mean,
- 34:24Speaker 16: you can respect somebody that's beating the hell out of you,
- 34:26Speaker 16: But they are beating the hell out of this country Kuwait.
- 34:29Speaker 16: They live like kings. The poorest person in Kuwait they
- 34:31Speaker 16: live like kings. And yet they're not paying. We make
- 34:34Speaker 16: it possible for them to sell their oil. Why aren't
- 34:37Speaker 16: they paying us twenty five percent of what they're making.
- 34:39Speaker 8: It's a joke.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Joining Mena's journalist and filmmaker Army Horoi's army. Much of
- 34:44Speaker 2: the world, including right here in Australia, they're all acting
- 34:48Speaker 2: shocked by today's announcement, but none of this should be
- 34:52Speaker 2: a surprise.
- 34:55Speaker 11: Yeah, no, it's not a surprise. Look, how I feel
- 35:01Speaker 11: about this really depends on really what's going on, and
- 35:04Speaker 11: it's not one hundred percent clear exactly what the goal
- 35:07Speaker 11: of the administration is. I think it will become clear
- 35:09Speaker 11: over a period of time if this is it depends
- 35:13Speaker 11: if it's tactical or strategic. I mean by that is,
- 35:16Speaker 11: if this is a tactic, a tactic in order to
- 35:18Speaker 11: get our partners to have fair trade, to stop dumping,
- 35:22Speaker 11: to lower their tariffs, then I'm all for it. If
- 35:25Speaker 11: it is strategic in the sense that this is an
- 35:28Speaker 11: underpinning of a general economic philosophy that we have a
- 35:32Speaker 11: problem here, and I think hearing mixed messages coming from administration.
- 35:36Speaker 11: So look take Asia for example. So if you're talking
- 35:41Speaker 11: about tariffing China, right the tariffs US that dumps their
- 35:45Speaker 11: steel here, I'm all for that. But then you look
- 35:48Speaker 11: at the tariffs that we're putting on Japan and Taiwan,
- 35:50Speaker 11: who have very low teriff rates on US. It doesn't
- 35:55Speaker 11: make any sense, right, It's actually going to hinder a
- 35:57Speaker 11: trade with vital partnerships. If what Peter Nirvarro has been
- 36:02Speaker 11: saying is in fact the philosophy of the administration, we
- 36:05Speaker 11: have a problem. Peter Rivaro Vavarro is saying that that
- 36:09Speaker 11: there's an actual adoration for tariffs themselves. He's saying tariffs
- 36:13Speaker 11: are a driver of revenue, driver of jobs.
- 36:17Speaker 8: He's gonna gonna cut our deficit.
- 36:19Speaker 11: If that's actually the underpinnings of what they're doing, I'm
- 36:24Speaker 11: not here for that, okay. It is If this is
- 36:27Speaker 11: an admiration for tariffs themselves as an economic policy, that's
- 36:32Speaker 11: a note for me, dog, because all that's going to
- 36:35Speaker 11: do is create neo mercantilism. Again, trade is not a
- 36:38Speaker 11: zero sum game.
- 36:39Speaker 8: We have to trade with our partners.
- 36:41Speaker 11: So it all depends where it's coming from, to be honest,
- 36:44Speaker 11: and I'm not sure where.
- 36:45Speaker 7: It is.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Interesting. Well, we'll soon find out. The Treasury Secretary has
- 36:52Speaker 2: warned countries though around the world that if they want
- 36:56Speaker 2: to retaliate, well, there will be consequences. He said, if
- 37:00Speaker 2: you retaliate, there will be escalations. So these are supposed
- 37:04Speaker 2: to be reciprocal tariffs, and so if other countries want
- 37:08Speaker 2: to increase their existing tariffs on the US, you can
- 37:11Speaker 2: see the US raising theirs further. Let's move on to
- 37:17Speaker 2: another case of promises made promises. Kep you'd remember this
- 37:21Speaker 2: exchange between the President and the governor of Maine.
- 37:25Speaker 4: Is the mean here, the governor of Man, Are you
- 37:29Speaker 4: not going to comply with it?
- 37:33Speaker 8: Well, we are the federal law. Well you better do it.
- 37:36Speaker 4: You better do it because you're not going to get
- 37:38Speaker 4: any federal funding at all if you don't. And by
- 37:40Speaker 4: the way, your population, even though it's somewhat liberal or
- 37:43Speaker 4: I did very well there, your population doesn't want men
- 37:47Speaker 4: playing in women's sports. So you better you better comply
- 37:50Speaker 4: because otherwise you're not getting any federal funding.
- 37:54Speaker 14: Well.
- 37:54Speaker 2: The Trump administration has followed through, announcing a pause and
- 37:58Speaker 2: a review of federal funding to the state due to
- 38:01Speaker 2: the governor's refusal to provide equal opportunities to women and
- 38:05Speaker 2: girls in educational programs. USDA Secretary Brooks Roland said the
- 38:09Speaker 2: state must agree to protect female athletes from transinclusion before
- 38:15Speaker 2: funding is restored.
- 38:17Speaker 11: Army, Yeah, it is unbelieve that exchange. I can listen
- 38:22Speaker 11: to that exchange between him the Governormain all the livelong day.
- 38:25Speaker 11: I love that, and it clarifies so much the reader.
- 38:31Speaker 11: The Democrats continue to take the wrong side of seventy
- 38:36Speaker 11: thirty issues. They lost an election because They've learned absolutely nothing.
- 38:42Speaker 11: They're still attacking Trump and immigration still to this day,
- 38:46Speaker 11: they are attacking his policies that the vast majority of
- 38:50Speaker 11: Americans elected Trump on it because they want it, but
- 38:54Speaker 11: they're still getting this wrong. This is another issue of
- 38:58Speaker 11: that Americans. Do you do not want male athletes, biological
- 39:03Speaker 11: males competing its women in sports.
- 39:05Speaker 8: It's unfair, it's actually physically.
- 39:07Speaker 11: Dangerous, as we've seen, Yet they continue to back these
- 39:10Speaker 11: insane policies. Look, if you're on the federal dole, right,
- 39:16Speaker 11: if you are an individual, if you are a university
- 39:20Speaker 11: like Columbia, af your a state like Maine, if you're
- 39:22Speaker 11: taking money from the federal government, let me tell you something.
- 39:25Speaker 11: You are opening yourselves up to having an issue.
- 39:29Speaker 9: Right.
- 39:29Speaker 11: Look, if you don't want to take money from the
- 39:31Speaker 11: federal government, do.
- 39:32Speaker 8: What you want.
- 39:33Speaker 11: But if you are, you better comply and toll the line.
- 39:37Speaker 11: The executive branch was pushing a certain policy, particularly one
- 39:40Speaker 11: that most Americans care about. And the irony of all
- 39:44Speaker 11: of this is that Title nine, which was created primarily
- 39:47Speaker 11: to protect and female sports, was created primarily by the
- 39:51Speaker 11: left back people. I remember what titleline first happened. People
- 39:54Speaker 11: are the right actually were complaining about it. Yet these
- 39:57Speaker 11: are the people the left who are trying to hollow
- 40:01Speaker 11: out the meaning of what female is in general, and
- 40:04Speaker 11: they're doing the opposite of protecting female sports. They're trying
- 40:08Speaker 11: to destroy it altogether. It is crazy and they can
- 40:11Speaker 11: continue to lose elections if they continue to go this direction.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Absolutely, now am you yourself have been filming in Palestinian
- 40:23Speaker 2: territories in the West Bank city of Ramala, and you
- 40:28Speaker 2: asked in this next clip questions of young men about
- 40:32Speaker 2: their thoughts on October seven. Let's see if they have
- 40:36Speaker 2: learned anything from the catastrophe that has befallen Ghazans since
- 40:41Speaker 2: that attack.
- 40:42Speaker 8: You are proud of October seventh sports?
- 40:45Speaker 2: Ma'm he's prove and then he says, God bless them
- 40:50Speaker 2: and may.
- 40:51Speaker 11: They have victimy are you proud of what happened October seventh?
- 40:54Speaker 5: Sub School of Stubbuck?
- 40:57Speaker 11: Are you willing to have what happened in Gaza happened
- 41:00Speaker 11: here in this It's a sacrifice worth patsy.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Me.
- 41:05Speaker 2: That is terrifying, but sadly not all that surprising.
- 41:10Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 41:11Speaker 11: Look, I went to the West Banks.
- 41:12Speaker 2: I want to see.
- 41:13Speaker 11: Look, we obviously saw what happened in Gaza, right, a
- 41:15Speaker 11: retaliatory continue retaliatory war against Hamas and the palace that
- 41:21Speaker 11: is in Gaza, who inflicted the deaths on the instruction
- 41:25Speaker 11: and the Mayhem, the barbarous, the barbary.
- 41:27Speaker 8: Of October seventh? They learned anything?
- 41:30Speaker 16: Was there?
- 41:31Speaker 8: Lesson learned?
- 41:31Speaker 11: That's what I wanted to find out. And honestly, oftentimes,
- 41:34Speaker 11: when I go and do these videos, you know, I've
- 41:35Speaker 11: done them long enough where I pretty much know what
- 41:38Speaker 11: my subjects are going to say to me. Right, I
- 41:40Speaker 11: know the mind, the left of the Islamic mind. And
- 41:43Speaker 11: in this case, actually, I gotta be honest, I wasn't sure.
- 41:46Speaker 11: I thought that they've seen what happened with gods, the
- 41:49Speaker 11: destruction that happened to Gaza, because they struck against Israel
- 41:53Speaker 11: such a terrific, horrible way, and there were that one word,
- 41:56Speaker 11: the one guy who was terrific. So I want to hey,
- 42:00Speaker 11: do you want to continue the policy of Kamas here
- 42:04Speaker 11: in the West Bank? And do you want to have
- 42:07Speaker 11: more October seven? Do you want to slaughter more Jews,
- 42:10Speaker 11: more innocent Israelis? And then, b what I want to
- 42:14Speaker 11: know is did you learn a lesson?
- 42:15Speaker 8: Are you scared.
- 42:16Speaker 11: Are you willing to actually ask them this, Are you
- 42:18Speaker 11: willing to sacrifice your cities in the West Bank like
- 42:22Speaker 11: what happened in Gaza in order to kill innocent civilities?
- 42:26Speaker 11: And I actually thought they might have said, yes, you
- 42:28Speaker 11: know what. Look, as much as we hate Jews and
- 42:30Speaker 11: hate these rallies, we didn't realize that, well, if you're
- 42:34Speaker 11: going to do this, you're going to pay a significant price.
- 42:36Speaker 11: And what I found out was the vast majority of
- 42:38Speaker 11: everybody I spoke to under forty I focus on young people,
- 42:42Speaker 11: they also they were willing to sacrifice tens and tens
- 42:45Speaker 11: of thousands of their own.
- 42:47Speaker 8: People in order to kill more Jews and more Israelis.
- 42:52Speaker 2: What's terrifying, Ami. This is what's terrifying that I can
- 42:57Speaker 2: say that destruction in Gaza and it still isn't enough
- 43:01Speaker 2: to sway them against this mindset. Amy Horowitz, we've run
- 43:06Speaker 2: out of time. Thank you so much for your time tonight,
- 43:10Speaker 2: your pleasure still to come. And Netflix employees speak out
- 43:14Speaker 2: about Meghan michaels Nightmare brand launch. Kinsey Schofield joins me
- 43:18Speaker 2: with the details. Welcome back, joining me now. Celebrity and
- 43:30Speaker 2: royal commentator Kinsey Schofield Kinsey. The Netflix staffers were working
- 43:35Speaker 2: on the launch of Meghan Michael's new lifestyle brand as Ever,
- 43:40Speaker 2: have let loose on what it's really like behind the scenes.
- 43:44Speaker 2: What have they been saying?
- 43:46Speaker 6: That's right?
- 43:46Speaker 14: An insider told The Dailymail that Michael's launch was a
- 43:49Speaker 14: logistical nightmare after the eleventh hour name chums from American
- 43:53Speaker 14: reviewer Orchard to as Ever and people working the retail
- 43:57Speaker 14: project were tired of the drama surrounding the Sussexes, especially
- 44:02Speaker 14: with Santa Balle blowing up the way it did, you know,
- 44:05Speaker 14: approaching this debut. But they were also I thought this
- 44:09Speaker 14: was interesting. They were also all forced to sign NDAs
- 44:12Speaker 14: to keep secret where the products, including her fruit spread,
- 44:16Speaker 14: are being made. I want to stay as far away
- 44:19Speaker 14: from that as possible so she doesn't have to worry
- 44:21Speaker 14: about someone like me trying to figure out where the
- 44:23Speaker 14: fruit's coming from.
- 44:27Speaker 2: Oh goodness made there? Will we ever say the jams?
- 44:30Speaker 2: Because we've heard so much about these foods, fruit spreads,
- 44:34Speaker 2: these jams, and a couple of the celebrity friends have
- 44:37Speaker 2: got a jar and that's about it. I mean, where
- 44:41Speaker 2: is this product? How is this love of it actually
- 44:45Speaker 2: going to be it also, no, what is a sellout? Kinsey?
- 44:50Speaker 2: How many jars were actually sold?
- 44:52Speaker 14: Because exactly, I think that it's the scarcity marketing tactic,
- 44:57Speaker 14: or the artificial scarcity tactic, where they have the illusion
- 45:00Speaker 14: of high demand by limiting supply. I don't think that
- 45:04Speaker 14: you know there were thousands of Jones of anything sold.
- 45:07Speaker 14: I think she had look at this Netflix article.
- 45:10Speaker 13: They did it.
- 45:10Speaker 14: They were worried about how many people would actually buy this.
- 45:13Speaker 14: So I think that the supply of the product was
- 45:15Speaker 14: incredibly small, so she could go on Instagram and say,
- 45:18Speaker 14: thanks everybody, I'm sold out.
- 45:22Speaker 2: Absolutely that if there was any sort of volume, they
- 45:26Speaker 2: would be advertising that, they would be saying we sold
- 45:29Speaker 2: out one hundred thousand jars in an hour. But we're
- 45:32Speaker 2: not hearing those figures now. To further developments in the
- 45:35Speaker 2: fallout between Prince Harry and the chair of his once
- 45:38Speaker 2: beloved charity sent to Ballet, Kinzid Sophie Chandulka has became
- 45:45Speaker 2: the chair back in twenty twenty three, She's made a
- 45:49Speaker 2: series of damaging allegations against the Sussexes. Now she's being
- 45:55Speaker 2: accused of playing the race card. Doesn't she know? Only
- 45:59Speaker 2: Megan is allowed to do that exactly.
- 46:02Speaker 14: Not only that, I love the fact that Harry and
- 46:04Speaker 14: Meghan's team are briefing the Telegraph that she didn't actually
- 46:08Speaker 14: go to school for this doctor title.
- 46:10Speaker 2: It's honorary, as.
- 46:11Speaker 14: If she shouldn't be using it because she didn't earn it.
- 46:14Speaker 2: Meghan, you make us.
- 46:15Speaker 14: Call you Duchess of Sussex. The hypocrisy is astounding. But
- 46:21Speaker 14: the race baiting thing, yes, oh my gosh, pot meat kettle,
- 46:24Speaker 14: the exact same scenario. And I don't know if you
- 46:27Speaker 14: saw one of Prince Harry's friends from Eton speak on
- 46:30Speaker 14: his behalf to the Daily Meal saying that doctor Sophie
- 46:33Speaker 14: is simply just jealous of Meghan Markle because she wasn't
- 46:36Speaker 14: the most important woman of color on the stage. I
- 46:39Speaker 14: cannot believe that he would put that out into the universe.
- 46:45Speaker 2: That is incredible. Yeah, that is playing the sort of
- 46:48Speaker 2: games that they accuse the Royal Family of playing. Now
- 46:52Speaker 2: let's talk about Morgan Wollen were discussing earlier in the wake.
- 46:56Speaker 2: He's not capitalizing on the controversy surrounding that abrupt exit
- 47:01Speaker 2: from Saturday Night Live. Shortly after he left the stage
- 47:06Speaker 2: whilst the others were standing around for two minutes, I
- 47:09Speaker 2: don't know, for some bizarre credits that they run there.
- 47:13Speaker 2: He posted this on his Instagram account and now he's
- 47:17Speaker 2: launched merchandise based on that caption.
- 47:21Speaker 14: And I love this because he is still getting waged
- 47:24Speaker 14: over the calls here in the stats, SNL cast meets
- 47:28Speaker 14: coming out saying that he was a diva behind the scenes,
- 47:31Speaker 14: saying that he pretty likely won't ever be invaded again,
- 47:35Speaker 14: and he's just he's making a joke out of it.
- 47:37Speaker 2: I love that about him.
- 47:39Speaker 14: I think that he's I think he's clearly has a
- 47:41Speaker 14: great sense of humor, and I hope that he sells
- 47:45Speaker 14: a million of these tops.
- 47:48Speaker 4: Now.
- 47:49Speaker 2: During Wednesday's episode of Michelle Obama's new podcast with her
- 47:53Speaker 2: brother Craig Robinson, the former First Lady had a bit
- 47:57Speaker 2: of a go at her husband baraque or is a
- 48:00Speaker 2: parent lack of financial responsibility?
- 48:03Speaker 3: Would you be attracted to a guy who's not financially
- 48:09Speaker 3: sound when you meet him?
- 48:11Speaker 10: I'm married one.
- 48:13Speaker 1: Don't you like that?
- 48:14Speaker 8: Allie's by just through.
- 48:17Speaker 2: Oh Kinsey, This podcast looks terrible, But tell me, have
- 48:22Speaker 2: we learned anything interesting? Apart from that little tidbit?
- 48:27Speaker 14: I think if we're learning anything it's that this woman
- 48:29Speaker 14: has little to no respect for her husband, who's put
- 48:32Speaker 14: her in the position she's in to sell books to
- 48:36Speaker 14: thousands of people and sit on a podcast and shoot that,
- 48:39Speaker 14: you know what. With her brother, I think that she
- 48:42Speaker 14: continues to disrespect him on this podcast, and I wonder
- 48:46Speaker 14: what the ultimate objective is. I agree with people like
- 48:49Speaker 14: Mariene Callahan that say she's trying to brand herself away
- 48:53Speaker 14: from former President Obama and why because you don't want
- 48:57Speaker 14: to be married to him forever. I think that that's
- 48:59Speaker 14: a legit question.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Well, that were rumors circulating very heavily for the last
- 49:07Speaker 2: three or four months about whether they are together. He's
- 49:12Speaker 2: appeared by himself at several events where you would expect
- 49:15Speaker 2: her to be there, including President Jimmy Carter's funeral, So
- 49:20Speaker 2: there's no wonder there's a little bit of scuttle but
- 49:22Speaker 2: about that, Kinsey, it's always a pleasure. Thanks for your
- 49:26Speaker 2: time tonight, and that's it from me. I'll see you
- 49:30Speaker 2: tomorrow night at nine pm. Four Lefties Losing it Up.
- 49:33Speaker 2: Next is Newsnight
