A Chaos Odyssey - Ep. 15 - Void War · WarHams - Narrative Declaration

• [00:00] He'll spot Lucy a couple of times. They like MY music, man! I can't believe they finally made Space Marine 2. Could we find salvation with you? [00:13] They're all gonna know that I'm a fraud. They're gonna kill me. That was the real Bremblo all along. That's true. How soon we forget. Yep. May he rest in peace. Breakout character. Makes me break out in hives. No, he's coming back. He's coming back as the final boss. He's the final boss. I already wrote it up in everything. You're telling me you're not gonna use the stat line? [00:39] Okay, Halky. Okay. There is one optional boss in Rock Racket. That's the only spoiler I'm gonna give you. There's an optional boss?! Yeah, it's fucking Racky! Oh yeah, that's true. That's the super boss. That's the Sephiroth, and you gotta get him. Oh my god, that's right. Oh my god, is he gonna be, like, six times harder than the final boss? God, I hope so. I hope not. [01:07] What I really wanted to do just to be a monster, is, like, stat out that fight and, like, in, like, the session before the final boss encounter, like, end it with, like, a fucking neon sign that just says, like, the Mutton King parking lot with an arrow. And it's some fucking side door! And then we like, and if you want to know what happens behind that door, Subscribe to the page! [01:32] Patreon every once in a while. Do that evil! [01:37] Thurston, Thurston. I just do the optional boss fight behind the Patreon because I'm a monster. I just do the evil fucking things. What you need to do, Thurston, is you need to release the Mutton King DLC for people to purchase so they can view this. The DLC, true. It's pumped with microtransactions. You know, you gotta spend money in order for Ruhua to win. No, it's a fucking DLC threshold. [02:02] It just becomes like streamer bait where we have to do it live, even more so. There's every possibility we could TPK in that session. Oh my god, okay. No, no, I do a boss. I do a boss. Raki's ability is that he will instantly kill the party unless we hit certain donation thresholds. And he's like, and he's like, he's like, I guess the audience just doesn't love you. [02:31] Yeah, that's incredible. Can he roll a check to eat some chatters that get banned for like a week from chat? Oh my god. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. 100%, 100%. Like, like if you fucking start doing stuff, he just randomly starts banning people in chat. [02:50] And that, that'll, and Zoran's on board with all this, right? Right. He approved it. I have a thousand yard stare of, I try to do everything as ethically as I can. Please, please. And then we have our funny microtransaction boss. His final ability is like, if we can't beat him in time, it's like, not only have I killed the party souls, but now I'm going to demonetize the channel. [03:19] I'm going to give everyone who has thoughts about Israel. Everyone loses their jobs. [03:28] I killed them, and they thought like a bunch of f**ks. [03:34] Easy, censor that word. Reki has a final mechanic that bans every single player from the production Discord. It doxes us in real life. [03:49] Chat, you don't get it. Our careers are over if we lose this. Oh God, oh God, no, no, no. Okay, okay. So what he does is he starts like, as the fight progresses, he systematically starts kicking players out of the Discord call. So you can only continue the fight in in-game chat. Oh my God. [04:10] This is slowly becoming kind of sick. I can't lie. I know, I know. It'd be really, like this, look guys, this is the sellout episode. This is our charity marathon. We gotta raise some money, guys. Come on. That would actually be a really funny charity stream. Honestly, yeah. The microtransaction episode. I like the idea of it being a meta-aware episode for charity of like, yeah, no, you get to suffer too, chat. [04:34] You get to lose. Yeah. That's how we do. That's how we pay off the Racky the Rex Mutton King parking lot special. God, fuck. Write that down, write that down. Are we ready to play some Chaos Odyssey? Hell yeah. Yeah, I guess we're in. What's special about it? Nevermind. You're not special. Come on. Put a hand on your shoulder. You're also kind of quiet. Am I? Well, he was talking now for a bit. [05:08] Just get close. Oh. Am I still? Get close. No, you're fine. Get close, boy. You were just talking, though. Oh. But of course. How am I? But of course, now it's time for more Chaos Odyssey, everyone. We can go ahead and start it easy. You can start with all our ramblings about how we're going to be super unethical and ban people off Twitch chat for more money and everything else. [05:33] It's for charity. Yeah, yeah, that's how we disguise it. Yeah, that's the ticket. Yeah, see? As long as we don't pull a YouTuber charity scam, we'll be all right. But of course, welcome, everybody, to another exciting episode of Warhams, a Chaos Odyssey. It's not a scam if you don't get caught. Exactly. Don't yell. Of course, a whole bunch of stuff happened last episode. For us in the real times, it's been a chunk of time, even to the point where even I'm, like, oh, God. [06:06] It's like... A flashback episode. [06:13] It was, like, as I'm furiously trying to bring up my notes. [06:18] What do you mean you just don't remember what happened, Zurn? Is my jamming that, like, that boring for you? No. [06:27] This is how I just... This is how I break out. [06:37] It's like I can't trust myself more than anything else because you know it is a crime to not remember all of the amazing things uh and all the amazing stories that you craft thurston and so it is an affliction that I must suffer with every day the amazing digital circus I think last episode we were doing flashbacks if I remember uh because after we went to the planet of dahab uh we also found the thunder warrior stuff like that but then after that we basically oh yeah now now it's all flooding back to me as a whole flashback episode of us leaving terra in meeting up with zol anonke after going through a ship that was ritually sacrificing themselves to turn the world upside down and to turn the world upside down and to turn the world [07:26] Upside down and to turn the world upside down and to charge up a psychic spell to try to get us out of here and knowing that he would mess it up lifos got into the situation and he might be the reason why it's like this uh and and so what was that what was that what what oh sorry sorry I was I read something wrong here in my notes um it said lifos is the best reason and the best character to this entire campaign and will solo and boss there we go I'm glad it's written down [07:58] Mark that down when we hit the end it's really unfortunate that you don't remember amazing stories either thurston you know I guess my game mastering and story like so [08:14] But but seriously if one of you whoever the first to remind me that uh in the final boss fight that uh lifos could solo the final boss I'll give you I'll give you one re-roll during that fight okay [08:28] Finally we're bringing it in it can't be you but of course after they got onto the ship itself it's also when they brought on cephas onto the ship and we found out why cephas is now permanently with the ship with everyone instead of zalanaki themselves and I think that is around where we kind of left off I want to leave some of the other stuff for people to go back and potentially go back to those episodes or in case someone spoiled themselves at the start of this uh video to go back and be like you should probably go watch that good reveals good story watch your stuff yeah yeah please there's there's oh my god never sorry memory time uh you know you remember like I haven't watched tv in like forever uh but you remember like [09:16] Infomercials or whatever uh to where someone would have a product there's a guy I ever watched there's a guy selling some cd or something for like like to help you with your computer or like to help clean it or whatever I can't remember but me and my brother would crack up every time it came on because at the end of it he's telling he's doing his whole sales pitch I'm like this will really help you out and the main thing we remember is at the end of it he goes buy my product like there's like a desperation in his eyes going cut to his like face desperately I'm going to buy my product he's all professionally posed and all in the frame but he's just like you know you can tell he's looking in the camera [10:03] Going please please let's spend so much time on this [10:10] I hurt all that that makes me hurt reminds me of uh it's it's a little bit anecdotal like I have to christ my brain is melting uh it reminds me of this cd that my my dad used to have when we were uh when I was a kid it was like this thing called the galaxy of win games like like windows right yeah and it was just like full of like weird knockoffs of other popular games that exist like not even like modern era games like there was a version of dig dug on it where the guy just did not shut up every time he moved he'd say something in a really like nasally voice and one time my antivirus flagged it as a virus which is really funny to get on a cd that you can buy that's how [11:04] They got you that was the first mask you have to get on your computer and remember games are viruses so if anything's wrong with the computer you get on install your games that's the first thing you could still buy this by the way I could put it in aco general no this was the fucking cover of it you could still buy this by the way I could put it in aco general no this was the fucking cover of it oh my god [11:27] Is probably the only thing on there that's not like ma zhong solitaire or a ripoff and I cannot for the life of me remember what it's called I think it's like the cast castle of terror so hang on a second I'll look it up because continue on it just needs a little wait wait sorry sorry I gotta delve deeper into the okay so so rip off ma zhong games okay like isn't it a in the ass enough to learn mahjong on its own let alone ah we've swiped all the tiles like look as someone who um is playing the yakuza series right now that is one thing I've not delved into is learning mahjong to play the mahjong mini game mahjong scares me I've avoided it in final fantasy for this reason hang on I just I just got woken up it's on archive.org [12:18] Oh hell yeah why would you buy it you can get it for free yeah you can download the virus right now right now well we've lost urndale for the whole episode guys he's gone seph is just in the back old terror computer is recovering from like bordering on heatstroke yesterday so my heart's pounding a little bit and I feel a little flushed and learning that this fucking thing that might really help me is that I'm not going to be able to play mahjong on my own I'm going to be able to norton antivirus of like 2005 flagged as a virus despite it being a cd you could purchase and put on your computer is on archive internet archive yeah because they still did that back then they still do that today what do you think fucking protogen is or no protegen it's not protogen [13:10] It's okay that you're norton was probably trying to flag itself as a virus and got confused so also true speaking of viruses uh I think last time thurston when we came in that I think there was a fleet ahead of us for some reason or there was something ahead of us I think I don't remember no we were um no no we talked about a fleet last it was it was the 47th expeditionary fleet we were talking about last okay sorry yeah yeah yeah no no no no no you are you we were we last ended we we had the the the um the background of evgeny and evgeny was visited by someone right gave him a bunch of advice yeah yeah yeah we kind of ended off there um no no no we're we're not gonna have anything so [14:03] So serious this session that would that would be wrong right it is serious and chaos it would be unethical it would be so unethical oh to read this quote me okay yeah to the unethical part I thought that was just a quote it was just me me by my will I deny thee by my heart I spurn thee by my hand I destroy thee fiend of emptiness to the void I cast thy blackened soul from the liber exorcismus man everything in 40k gotta end with an us or a man That's Latin, baby. [14:48] Fuck you. All right. The carcass continues to ply through the immaterium. You are carrying on your way, having in real time, or a rough approximation of real time, learned of the world of Shachim, which you are making your way towards after the ancient relic thunder warrior Dahab underneath the world of the same name relayed to you a great power. [15:25] The planet itself is located well within, well, not well within, it is located within the segmentum obscurus, the sort of northern reaches of the Imperium. And you are making, you are making your way through the warp seer. One who has been on your vessel since you picked her up from the Alpha Legion outpost stands by the captain. [16:03] You all recognize her as Tatriath the seer. She has guided the vessel through the region of space of the Eye of Terror, plunging you deeper. And then lightly out of that space. Though you remain in the immaterium for the entirety of your journey. [16:33] The seer does not seem taxed by this, as she might have been with prior journeys. Nor does the captain. The vessel is actually moving, at least for a chaos-possessed warship, with some alacrity. And generally, a fair amount of, well, a fair lack of commotion. No Neverborn infiltrating the vessel. No weeping walls or screams from the lower decks beyond those of simple humanity. [17:10] What is everyone doing on this journey? And let's start with Cephas. Well, Cephas has been spending the vast majority of his time since basically, this is like happening after we left Dahab, right? Yes. All right, so Cephas has been spending his time meditating in his usual way in the crappy, noxious, foul little cloister chapel that Lucitrix and the rest have set up for every Nurgleite who wishes to do stuff on the ship. [17:43] And he has been mainly keeping to himself as he ponders some things, given the Thunder Warrior he spoke with was not real, and he wishes to ponder on these things. Well, not real insofar as, like, it was a ghost, you know? Neither was the planet. The planet was also a ghost. [18:03] Then they blew it up and the pants were dead. And then they were at peace. So he's not been doing much of anything. [18:12] Lucitrix, meanwhile, she's been busy preparing and getting more equipment. And doing training. As though that would be anything that you'd expect a rotten, basically corpse individual to do is do, like, weight training or something so that she can heft her new acquisition, including the light carapace armor she is now an owner of that she has been requisitioning furiously from the ship's armor, whoever they may be. And, uh, ultimately, Cephas just gets to, he's just sitting in the chapel one day and then Lucitrix, one of the most important people in the world, just walks in toting a and he doesn't think much of it. [18:56] This is normal. This is fine. So we, we, those two have been, uh, doing simultaneously very active and also very non-active things. [19:12] Okay. That is going to bring us over to Evgeny. What are you doing on the journey? [19:21] Evgeny is still reflecting on his life. There's a lot that has led him here. Certainly after the history, which we've learned last time, Evgeny is still thinking upon the words of the faithful, or at least the delusional now at this point in time, so blinded by their own duty that they are [19:46] Willfully ignorant of how bad things actually are. And after all that has happened since, [19:53] Through ghosts, wounds, lots of pitfalls and a few triumphs, [20:07] Evgeny spends a lot of that time simply exploring the interior of the carcass, trying to make use of his skills in stealth to keep out of sight and out of mind really beyond notice of the more dangerous things that might be lurking in the depths of this chaos hulk. Since most of the time, he does not choose to let the other four know he's just simply wandering off. [20:35] He is his own person after all. He feels it prudent to, if he cannot fight an outright straightforward battle, make use of the skills that he does have and refine them further, for there are much worse things to be found on the planet ahead. That much, he's sure. [21:00] Okay. Well, let us bring Evgeny back. Let us bring it over to Bethael. [21:10] Bethael is going to be spending, as is per usual, a good chunk of his time in the cages. He would have, at multiple points, tried to strike up idle conversation with Helbrose, occasionally trying to prod at him about his thoughts about where they go after this, as it looks like, maybe a break to this curse is inevitable soon. And likewise, reflecting on that conversation he had with the Thunder Warrior and how it had kind of slipped out of him, that his intention was after this was over, to find what remains of the World Eaters and try to scrape something together, kind of plumbing Helbrose's mind on that, if indeed he had an opinion at all. [22:04] Um, and likewise, he is also going to be spending a lot of time meandering around the ship. Um, he did pick up a training in Intimidate, which is somehow a Nurgle skill. So he would probably have spent a little bit of time meditating with, uh, Cephas. Um, and would have kind of [22:33] Studied a little bit of the dread of inevitability, that Nurgle carries about him and, uh, found a way to put his own kind of, uh, um, flavor to it. Cephas, of course, would be willing to help with that. And it would be no issue to him at all. As long as you, uh, help, as long as you, uh, bench, watch bench with, uh, Lucy while she bumps away. [22:59] Yeah, exactly. He'll, he'll spot Lucy, uh, a couple of times. [23:06] Um. Eh, eh. She has no weights on the bar. Yeah. It's like SpongeBob. [23:16] Losatrix, there aren't, there aren't even weights on the sides. It's just the bar. The bar is like 10 pounds. I haven't even moved it yet. I'm trying to get it off the hooks. [23:30] Been there. You got it. Um. Yeah, and he probably would have tried to locate Yevgeny at some point. Uh, but Yevgeny has much better stealth than Bethany, so, uh, I don't know if Yael does, uh, awareness. Oh, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Yevgeny. This, this requires an important thing. Yevgeny, give me a stealth check. That's challenging. Yeah, absolutely. Here, let me give you one. [23:55] Stance. Stealth. It's going down. Oh, right. It's something different, isn't it? Hold on. [24:04] Oh, yeah, yeah. It's, um. Where is it? Uh. No, there it is. As you said, stealth. Yeah, there it is. Yeah. [24:14] At challenging, you said, or difficult? Challenging. Just plus zero. Challenging. Sure. [24:22] Yeah. Well, Bethyle has good eyes for a solid 80. Well, no, Bethyle now has to make an awareness test. Yeah, exactly. As we've seen, it doesn't matter how low you roll, because I can always go lower. Bethyle's gotta be a wearer. Oh, no, he's not aware. Can Bethyle be a wearer, let's find out. [24:47] I'm aware of nothing. Nevermind, yeah. Nevermind, I'm really aware. Oh, no. What did you roll? That's a six for our podcast listeners. [24:59] All right. Well, good news. Bethael, you very quickly find Evgeny. I assume it's like Evgeny is trying to be like Batman, but just failing terribly. Like, like rushing back and forth between quarters and you just like see him running in the hall. Yeah, he like crosses immediately across his path and is just, oh, there he goes. [25:27] Yeah, he's winded after he runs all the way through. It's not winded. It's clear. [25:36] The air is really thin in here. No one's spotted. And he looks back and sees Bethael. Just combat rolls back behind the corner. Thurston, can I attempt another cell check to go somewhere else on another hallway? [25:50] Sure. Oh, good. Yes. Allow it. Okay. This is important. This is extremely important. Is this at challenging? No, it's just. Yeah, yeah. So this will be a challenging. Yeah, that one's better. That's 23 for four degrees. Well, if Bethael is aware. Bethael remains aware of you. Yeah. Oh, yeah. I don't have to make another one. No. [26:20] All right. Yeah. He just kind of turns around the corner. [26:25] Evgeny. Bethael. Are you trying to do something? [26:32] No. No. I see. Okay. You trying to do something? [26:55] Good. Just walking. That's good. Although I was looking for you. You just sort of vanished into the ship for a few weeks. [27:06] Yeah. I've just been trying to hone my skills, as it were. Do a little bit of reconnaissance around the car, because it's a cockin' big ship. I'm sure you're aware of that, but it's much bigger for someone as small as me. [27:23] Very, very small. I have learned over the years that that is a bit of a doomed venture. The way that the hallways change means there is never any logic to the way that this ship works, though I can always find my way to the cages. Speaking of, if you wish to. To continue your training. I saw your reaction to the Thunder Warrior. [27:52] It seems as if you have not quite conquered your very human fears. [28:03] No, I don't think that I rightly have, Bethael. After all, sir, it is, well, when facing down quite literal ghosts and abominations of science, sometimes... Our mortal wiles get the better of us, and we... Well, we lose our combat refinement. [28:31] Yeah, that's exactly what it is. There is only one way to overcome that, and that is simply to face it. [28:43] Meet me in the cages when you have a moment. [28:50] I... I'm imagining you're saying, like, a Mass Effect NPC or a KOTOR NPC. It's like, here's your side quest for this character. Yeah, exactly. Here's your Bethael companion quest. I really want to learn how to tiger drop. I'm going to have to go do the Bethael side quest. See, I was saying it as more as, little man, I see you're very nervous with the Thunder Warrior. It made you scared. [29:19] I will make you less scared. Come and have a... No holds barred death battle in a steel cage with a KOTOR berserker, you fucking maggot! This Sunday! Sunday! Saturday! Saturday! Sunday! Bethael, the steel chair! The steel chair! By the throne, he's broken in half! [29:47] First of all, I would love to know who the 40k equivalent... Of Jim Ross is. But second of all... Malkador. Lifos. On Red Curve. Yeah, Malkador. [30:03] God damn it. Fucking Lifos, what have you been up to? It might be potentially long. Do you want to give Byzantium time? And do his instead? [30:18] Maybe Byzantium's is long, too. Hey, is yours long? Yeah, I don't know. Okay. Okay. I just fucking do shit. I'm like a rabid dog chasing tires. I have no concept of how long a short will take. Okay, so it won't be long. Oh my god. It's true. It'll be like a fever dream of Byzantium. I apologize. I was trying to be considerate in the deal and, you know... [30:46] No, it was very considerate. I like how I get through three... Three players and the speaker's like, I have no fucking idea what I'm doing yet. Oh no, I know exactly what I'm doing. I just don't know how long it's going to take. I could pad this out if you want. I completely missed the fact that we were talking about our fucking advances, so I completely glazed over that. [31:08] Quickly say yours, because we did get experience points and got our stuff up. So go ahead and say yours. It's true. It's true. [31:16] Evgeny realizes that, oh yeah, maybe being stealthy doesn't really work as much. So instead, he spends a lot of time just going through being generally likable. And snapping his fingers and shooting a cocky, like, A at the four party members. And that means, of course, that Evgeny picked up... I have to scroll up because it reset my progress in the chat. I picked up Radiant Presence. Ooh. [31:41] As well as... Which means, as far as Radiant Presence, all of my allies of the 20 meters get plus 10 willpower against fear and intimidation. And that means... That I can... [32:01] I guess I should say the ones that I did, because I was kind of vague about it a little bit. I didn't really do much with Cephas. He increased his fellowship and his infamy so that I could take Minion of Chaos, which basically just improves Lucid Tricks like crazy. Because now she's not, like, an actual piece of, like, wet garbage sitting next to me, occasionally throwing a Blight Grenade out. [32:26] Now she actually has armor. Some, like, a little bit of armor. A little bit more toughness and a bunch more stats. And also I could give her a... And a whole bunch of other traits and other things like that. So she's actually, like, about on par with Evgeny. I'm sorry this is the episode where Lucid Tricks dies. That's fine. Look, look. Listen, I'm gonna have her... And it's up to the dice to see whether or not that pays off. [32:51] Wait. Easy. Go back and cut out what I said about... That's much funnier if it just comes out of nowhere. [32:59] That's actually... I changed my mind. Do that. He actually knew how to do this the entire time. He was, like, really good at... Wait, wait. Easy. Go back and remove any part. Now you have to cut that out! Cut that out, too! Cut it out! Wait, hang on. Easy. Remove any part that I mentioned about Lucid Tricks as... I think it'd be even funnier if she just randomly pulls it out and... [33:16] Okay, so every time it's mentioned, Easy, just put a censor bar over it. And then everyone right now, let's just act really offended three times. So that way, Easy can just cut that in in the middle of our conversation. Okay? Are we all ready? One sec, one sec, one sec. This reminds me of something that's very important that our audience knows. Over the weekend, I got a message from Easy that simply read, Thurston, by your request exactly two months ago, I gotta ask, is Krillin packing? [33:57] Was there any doubt? I responded with a particular image of Krillin, and then he responded with, I'll take that as a yes. Happy American Fourth of July! [34:13] Thank you, Easy. Thank you, Easy. Easy, edit in how much we love you. Yeah, yeah, edit that in. Easy, edit in Krillin. Edit in a graph of how much we love you versus how much we love Krillin. Have it jockeying back and forth, and tell the fans they can vote on it later. This is typically the image of Krillin that I sent you that I'm posting, and... [34:33] These two are... He's probably going to say, yeah, what's going on? He's looking at DaVinci Resolve right now going, I fucking hate my job. [34:41] He's like, it's too late to get a job at McDonald's? What the fuck? [34:49] Okay, what Lionfields was doing, or is doing currently, I'd like to propose that he's been in basically kind of the deeper parts of the ship. There's still a good chunk of workers, and random menials that are on the ship, correct? Oh, yeah, you've picked up the, like, dregs of society from everywhere you go. Exactly. They just want to be around the amazing lifeos. And he is currently... [35:18] I don't like that. I don't like how positive you seemed when I called them the dregs of society. Makes me think you're going to do something not good with these people. Zoran loves dregs. Whenever he makes coffee, he loves scooping into the bottom of the pot, like burnt sediment, and just eating it. It's really healthy and very good for you. I slip it up. I crunch it. [35:38] I like the crunchy parts of my coffee. [35:42] You should have eaten the beans. You know that, sir? [35:46] So, he's been slowly but surely trying to cultivate, you know, a cult of Zeech on the ship. And one of the things that he wanted to do is to accelerate his power. Like, to bring forth his potential. So, my psi rating has gone up. And he's been trying to go through this process of anyone who has any sort of latent psyker abilities that he could find on the ship. [36:11] He's been getting agents to go out. Like, if anyone shows any signs, you got to bring them to me. And I will reward you, right? And just through ceremonies and rituals or so, he's like, you have now been blessed by Zeech. But he just put an eye on them like it's face paint for a child. And so, they think they're better. [36:31] Uh-huh. Uh-huh. And so, he's been trying to get all these psykers to kind of like pull power from them. So, whenever he needs to call upon anything to enhance his powers, he's been basically sucking the psychic out of them as much as he can in the life out of some of these people. Is he eating them? Yeah. Okay. He's pulling an emperor right now to where he's like eating the psykers slowly but surely. [36:57] But he pretty much is like, look, if you're fine and you're not turning into demons, you know, as long as it's a Zeech demon, you're cool. But if you begin to kind of lose your way, come be useful with me. Come get the savior of Zeech before they go haywire. He's like, I'm going to eat you now. Is this like, is this okay? But this is like, you know, like, like, oh, man, we're going to send little Bimmy over to, who's got a little bit of the warp touch, is going to live a better life down at the, down at the Lifo's farm. [37:30] Yeah. Where he'll work hard. Okay. Making sure. Yeah. Yes. Excellent. Good. 10 out of 10. So he's committing a mercy to them in one way, but he's also enhancing himself. 3D10. Whatever you say, dog. 3D10. [37:49] I'm sorry. I'm like the stupidest person in the world. What? [37:55] Are you me? What's a 3D10? Why am I losing my mind? They're dice. They're dice. 3D10s. 3D10s. Okay. Sorry. I don't know why. Are you thinking like a 3D10? I don't know what I was thinking, to be honest with you. Can you rotate 10 in your mind? Do you smell bird toes? Do you smell bird toes? You were right there. [38:22] Sorry. That's been happening more and more to me, where I'll just like get told something, and I just lose my mind. Get rolling. 3D10 does. Catscan. That's scary. 13. You eat 13 psychers. Psychers. Excellent. That's an auspicious number. And through their power, I have gained multiple psychic powers. I now have compelled, delude, doomboat, glimpse, inspire, mind over matter, pre-cognition, telekinetic shield, and thought sending. [38:53] I basically stacked up on that and make sure for any talents. I don't think I got a talent thing, if I remember right. No, I don't think so. You may not have bought one. [39:08] I was like, maybe. I have a history. Actually. Yeah. Pregnancy and psi ratings. Yeah. I pretty much added up my psi ratings and also increased my infamy. So now my infamy is 31. [39:19] And so through all that, I assume with the infamy is also eating psychers. Oh, yeah. That's what he's been doing. I mean, everyone on the ship is like, what the fuck? But of course, he's doing his very best to keep it secret. If you have a secret little side projects, you know, he's not trying to publicize it. Yeah. The Nurgle and the Zinch cults are flourishing here. [39:39] Yes. All right. By Zanty. Hi. People haven't seen it. Oh, no. What's he doing? Ask the question. It is. Easy edit that out. Easy edit that out. Easy. Ask the question again. Yeah. Yeah. What is by Zanty doing? [40:03] By Zanty. I don't know why I said that like such an asshole. I'm so sorry. Easy. All right. All right. By Zanty has been pretty elusive. [40:15] Lately and outside of, you know, occasionally like showing up outside of the cages to make fun of Beth. I L and like just doing little tiny things to piss him off. Like it's still been happening, but at a way less frequent rate. One of the most consistent places to find by Zanty actually has been drilling with the troops, trying to get them in tip top shape, get their elephant gun drills down. [40:44] Right. But even that has not been his main focus. [40:51] Because every six hours for the past, I don't know, however long we've been in transit, by Zanty has made a ritual for himself where he has gone down into the depths of the carcass. He has sought out the warp drive. That. Keeps us all afloat. He has walked to its tallest point, stared unflinchingly inside at the Empyrean energies. [41:28] And he has been nonstop playing his sonic blaster, playing the music of slum mesh. And he's been doing this while looking straight into the very heart of the carcass. Allowing himself to be bathed in its energies, seeking a higher understanding, a higher level, a higher echelon of skill, a step closer to perfection. [41:59] And to that end, I have purchased for by Zanty, the performer musician skill, a long time coming, a willpower advance and forbidden lore demonology. [42:16] To which Zanty has said, I am so happy. He told me you were gonna take a fellowship advance, but you took the willpower and I'm so proud of you. After all this time. It's true, it's true Thurston. I made you proud Papa. You made me proud son! You made me proud! I'm gonna be a pig farmer just like you Paul! I'm gonna handle all the slums! [42:46] Yeah, alright, I don't know what that was, but thank you. [42:52] Why do you listen to us, audience? I don't know. Do I get any corruption points? [43:01] No. Okay. I'm not corrupting you. I just thought I was staring into the warp drive. I know, I know. I have to be a little bit more stringent on the downtime things. You have to earn them through full-on actual play. I think that's very fair. I'm sure with my demonology skill, I can find some way to get a corruption point. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. [43:34] Alright, with all that being done, were you ever going to go to those fighting pits, or do you avoid them like well, I won't say the plague, because you kind of have the plague here, but are you avoiding the fighting pits? Or are you actually going to go to them? [43:49] Evgeny, I'll go to the fighting pits. Why do you sound like a child who's been told by their parents what to do? You have agency. I do have agency, and that agency is recognizing that the last time Evgeny got into melee combat, he got his organs ripped out. So he needs to get better in melee to not get his organs ripped out next time, because he can't rely on the will of the dark gods to manifest a meltdown. [44:17] Inside of an orc's head. Every time. I mean, that is very true, yes. Only some of the times. He makes a good point. Alright, so [44:34] Bethael, the mound of clay has entered your fighting pit. [44:41] How do you intend to train this mound of clay? The mound of clay? Don't call him that. [44:49] He's my friend. He's a little guy. You must learn to shape him. Yeah. [44:55] No, the first thing Bethael is going to focus on, because one thing that he has picked up on that has been a consistent [45:04] Plague for Evgeny is just at the start of combat being seized by just preternatural fear, for obvious reasons, that Bethael is long forgotten. [45:18] But he is going to... He is going to try to focus on helping Evgeny break that. And the first thing that he is actually going to do when Evgeny shows up is he is going to put down his own weapon. He's going to kind of put Evgeny's chainsword in his hand, and he is going to put the chainsword against him. Against his own kind of collarbone, and just like sit at eye level with him. [46:05] Alright, Evgeny. You are afraid still. [46:15] What is it that scares you, Evgeny? [46:27] Is it an animal fear of death? Is it staring into the eyes of the unknown? Is it something more? Or something deeper? [46:44] Is it simply knowing that you stared on something bigger than you? [46:55] Perhaps, to some extent, it is something larger. [47:01] I'm certainly well acquainted with death. I do not fear death innately. [47:10] But is something deeper baked into each of us? Without the psycho-conditioning that one like yourself might have had? Sure, we are given amnestics, we are made to forget some of the things that we see. The ones that they can't just take us at our word to forget anyway. [47:36] But haven't you seen something that, despite all of your augmentation, triggers some kind of primal response in you, not towards rage instinctually, but fear. A thing that should not be. [47:59] Evgeny, give me a weapon skill test at minus ten. [48:10] Forty-nine. Okay. Oh, it says you're fatigued. Yeah, you gotta... But, regardless... It's only three degrees of failure. You, um... You do not slice into Bethael as the carcass makes an emergency translation back into real space, and you are sent full... Flying across, uh, the combat cage that you are in. Oh. Ah! Did I try to catch him? [48:48] You both land on your backs, uh, clearly just thrust by it. [48:56] Ugh. I see. That was a harder stop than usual. Ugh. [49:06] You could say that. Uh, we cut to Luc- We cut to Lucitrix bodybuilding. Uh, at the exact moment- No, you can't! You can't! You can't have her drop her weights! No! [49:18] No, no, no. See, Thurston, here's what this is, so you can cut back immediately. Uh-huh. You cut to Lucitrix on the bench, still holding the empty bar, like, the empty bar just straight up. I hope Bethael comes back soon. [49:35] He left, like, five minutes ago. He was fucking there in, like, decayed, awful, like, militarum tank top, just holding it straight up. I thought- I thought you were gonna say she was decayed, like, she became a Zardoz skeleton. [49:51] You can- you can, like, if you walk past where the gym is, you can hear the faint sound of, like, the support beams of a house creaking. Oh god. [50:03] Anyway, back to you guys. Yeah, Cephas- Cephas probably is so well, like, planted, uh, during all of the- the ritual stuff. He just, like, looks up as there's a slight discomforting shift for the- for the vessel. Well, listen, it's- he's- he trusted Bethael to take care of this. He has no reason to just- he had no reason to believe that Bethael would randomly just depart from, uh, where he said he was going to be. [50:28] Yeah. It'll be fine. What an asshole. Um. I- I- I love that we have decided that Bethael just kind of left Lucitrix sitting there. Agreed. Uh, I also now cut to what I imagine is- is Lyphos with a bib on, and there's some, like, mortal- No! As the ship- as the ship- He- he's got- Bring me the plump one! [50:52] As the ship exits into real space, and the- the potential psyker goes flying, and splats against the wall. No! Now it's ruined! He's got, like, one of those crawfish boil bibs. Yeah. Aw, man. It's got the zeech symbol on it and everything. It just pours all the psykers out like it's the crawfish boil on the table. All wriggling. You guys gotta stop, man. You're making me hungry. [51:18] He just starts- he rubs his hands together. He's like- he's like, excellent. And he starts cracking bones. Oh, my god. Gotta get the psychic power inside. Gotta put it all in this plastic bag and shake it up. Mm-mm-mm. Oh, my god. There's, like, a random corn cob. [51:35] Yes! Oh, my god. And then, of course, by Zanty. Yeah, whatever the fuck my name is. I don't know. The pink one. The pink one. Yeah, he was there, too. [51:51] I don't know. By Zanty, give me, let's see. Give me an agility test plus 30. Don't make it fall into the warp drive. You got it, boss. [52:00] Oh, I never wanted to fucking fail a roll more in my life. Let's go. Whee! That is a 57 with one degree of success. I don't fall in the warp drive, I guess. You don't. You're slightly tossed off your concerto as the warp drive seems to cool and the etheric energies dissipate as it comes to an abrupt halt. I kick it. [52:38] That shit's just broken. Sir, this is a marvel of madness. Mankind's engineering and dominance over other times and spaces. You don't kick it. I thought you were like, just kick it like, come on, corrupt me. Give me wings. Do it. Turn on. Well. [53:02] Oh, my God. Look over there. And I point behind the tech adept. [53:08] The tech adept, like, rolls their bionic eye and continues working. [53:15] Oh, my God. Made it. And I run away thinking that I've just done a tedious scheme. Yeah. That fool, he'd never know. [53:26] All right. It's saying that I'm fatigued, too. How do I become unfatigued? Everybody tired. You go to your fatigued value and make sure it's zero. Am I stupid? Yes, I am. Okay. [53:43] I wasn't saying to the stupid part. I was saying to the fatigued thing Zoran said, just in case people are forever going to call me out now. Like. But there's some con speaker stupid libel. And he's no good. He's he's no good. He's Canadian. You got to get him all right with well, with that, are all of you going to make your way to the strategic or what's the plan? [54:10] Yeah, I think I'm going to the strategic. I mean, I need answers that that just ruined my flow. If if this is called, he'll go up there. [54:21] Okay, is he not going to, like, react or anything like he clearly feels like the ship has exited the material? I mean, it does that every time, so presumably he's used to it by now. I would assume unless this is particularly like this was this was a violent like this was such there normally it's not this there isn't this much movement in the action, so I'll tell you what he does. [54:46] Thurston sitting there in meditation. The entire ship. The ship shakes and Cephas tilts like ten degrees more to the left for when that happens. [54:59] No, that's not good. And he'll get up and head to the strategic to find out what happened. Okay, the Katamari. That is Bethael and Evgeny. [55:13] The Katamari. Violence. Why? Yeah, you're kind of like balls together now that you've been hurled. [55:22] Okay. I thought. Yep, we should check on that. Are you alive? Evgeny is just a pancake. [55:33] Tom and Jerry style. Yeah. Could you get off me, please, sir? [55:41] Yes. Apologies. [55:47] Picks him up, like dusts him off. Thank you. [55:56] Excuse me. We can return to this conversation later. Yeah, sure. We can do that. Let's go see what's going on up there. Oh, yes, but I will say having having an Astartes fall on you maybe does decrease your fear somewhat. Now, you know, like training's already started. Fuck. Yeah, yeah. Watching Bethael skid face down across the floor makes it be like, you know what? Maybe Astartes aren't so scary after all. [56:21] Can I get a plus one on my willpower for that? Yeah. Don't push your luck with me, Thurston. I love pushing my luck. And my name is Kaiji or whatever the fuck that guy's name. And I don't know. I never watched Kaiji. Good bits for me. Thank you. I'm a real anime fan. I'm a real anime. You know that he is the part two, you know, Lifos cuts off my fingers. [56:47] Yes, Lifos. Your banquet has been ruined. Everything is scattered. In your makeshift cult area in the undercroft of the vessel. How do you react to this change? He abruptly stands up, pissed off. He still has his like obnoxiously large bib on of like a cycle symbol or something of all you can eat. And he just thought he's like, like someone's going to answer for this. And so we start storming up to the strategic, which I imagine as he gets up there, he burst through the door going. [57:20] One of you bastards just ruined my meditation. Is he ripped? He rips off the bib behind it real quick because he forgot. [57:30] I assume for comedy's sake, he's the one who enters last into the strategic. So you always turn to see him. Yeah, absolutely. [57:40] As you've all just perfect timing, all arrived at exactly the same time to hear what's happened. [57:50] As, as, as the, as, as the vessel has exited. Um. The material, you find yourself in a star system. You can see it out because the, the view docs have now retracted the, the sort of Geller protective, uh, physical barriers have pulled back. So you're no longer staring into the raw material, but you see that you are in real space. There are stars in the sky beyond. [58:20] That is about all you can see. However, on the bridge is the seer Tatriath cap. The, the, the, the strange haunting. Mass of the captain and then the captain's voice as well as the usual bands. What has happened? What has caused us to break so suddenly? It's Tatriath who speaks. [58:52] We were accosted by something, something in the immaterium that pulled us. What? It, it was something I have not seen before. It happened very soon. Suddenly we were making speed towards the destination, but something, uh, like a shoal pulled us here. [59:24] The captain's voice follows up quickly. The engine is offline. We must make repairs to it. It will take some time before we are able to translate. [59:40] Can I roll a science? Science to the kind of detect what they were talking about to be like, what, what is powerful enough to knock a ship out and warp? Yeah, sure. You can give me a check. Uh, this will be actually minus 20 though. Sure thing. Oh yeah. Terrible. 71 with five degrees of failure. Yeah. You, you are not sure. Like there's, there could be a lot of things, but you didn't personally detect anything or have felt anything. [1:00:16] Yourself must've been something that happened on a more like ship wide than a, a localized phenomenon that you're, you're more apt. Yeah. With life was ponders. [1:00:28] Hmm. Okay. And so what do we do? Just wait. Do we know what it is that shunted us out? Is it a being or simply something roiling in the warp? [1:00:44] Um, the, uh, Eyeless seer with her one false eye turns to you the octet symbol. And then within the sort of moving cat's eye that maybe is hololithic or maybe is something submersed in some liquid turns dark skin moving is her lips peel back to speak. [1:01:12] We won't have to wait long. It's coming for us now. [1:01:18] It, What? What do you mean, it? I can feel it now. Good. I suppose them is the better way to say it. It's a shell, after all. [1:01:35] Worthwhile hunt, then. And here it, and as that exact sentence is uttered, each of you notice a dull illumination, um, on Strategium Tech. Um, all of you start seeing these bright, almost glowing blue, translucent forms move through the walls of the ship. [1:02:16] They're, they're strange. They're, they're circular. Um, they're circular with wisps behind them, like, almost like a comet, except they split down the middle like a Pac-Man, but with the teeth of, like, sharks lined within that consume the space around them. Oh, no. [1:02:45] What speaker? I, Speaker D, think I know what they are. Byzante, on the other hand. Um. Could I make sense of your check? Oh, even if he knew, he wouldn't tell you fuckers. But, um. This is how we find out that Byzante knows of the Langoliers. I was going to say, they're fucking Langoliers. Either of these checks be applicable, and you can tell me no. Demonology or Trade Voidfarer? [1:03:16] Demonology at a minus 10. All right. You got it. [1:03:27] Ooh, it winked at me, but that's a 58 for 340. Three degrees of failure. [1:03:32] Sorry, Byzante, you do not know what these things are. Wait, am I supposed to try? Yeah, absolutely. Go ahead, Hoki. Oh, no, I was going to say the same things. Like, I've seen many horrors. I'm scarred witness by the things I've seen. You can also try. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely. I have also failed with one degree to failure, but the 40. Okay. [1:03:57] Obviously, this is Yevgeny's moment. He's going to surpass you all. I believe totally considering I have untrained forbidden lore. [1:04:09] Watch this. It's pretty cool. At a minus 10. That was Thurston. Yep. Yeah. Watch this. Yeah. Watch it. Oh, that's eight degrees of failure for an 81. [1:04:30] You think they're friends. They're here to help. [1:04:35] Come on now. Maybe they're reinforcements. They look pretty scary and terrifying. [1:04:44] Yevgeny, have you been drinking Promethean lately? Not since four episodes ago, sir. Why look at Beth? I need to stop hanging out with Yevgeny. He's starting to catch your infection. What infection? I don't drink Promethean. You know, stupid. It's contagious. I was waiting on it. [1:05:10] Thurston punches. Punches chest plate. I have a follow up question for you. Yeah. What about my minion that I've had? I forgot about for, like, three or four episodes now. What? Huh? Hands. [1:05:29] Is he fucking alive? I thought we brought him back. [1:05:34] I don't even remember you having a companion. Yeah, I know the guy. I know who you're talking about from the arena fight. [1:05:42] We traded him. He's gone forever. Goodbye. No. We traded him to the Mets. [1:05:51] I hope he has a fruitful career. He's going to be working for the Mets. He will not. [1:05:58] He loves the Mets. Did you take a talent that let you have him? [1:06:07] No, I didn't. I didn't know that it was against the rules to have friends. You said, like, he was like your fucking, like, minion hireling. I know I was. I won him in an arena fight by not dying. [1:06:23] Right, sir. I've been here on the strategy of the whole time. Oh, thank goodness. I thought you were dead. I thought we wrote you out. Yeah. The problem is, you see, is you forgot about me and I take that awful personal like. [1:06:41] I'm sorry. I've been having a terrible time since having my organs moved outside my body. I just wanted you to know that before I leave for work. Forever. Goodbye. He stands up and walks out of the bridge. [1:06:54] Well, that was eventful. He walks into a normal pit and rots and dies. He gets back. He gets teleported. He gets teleported to Tertium. No, he's my friend again. No, he goes to Tertium. He's needed there. Nick, can he be our distraction counterfeits by being the Plague Ogren? [1:07:12] My whole city needs me. He has to go. He has to go. He has to go arch through the chairman. Yeah, it's true. He has to go. [1:07:27] He has to go. The figures continue to float through the strategium and ostensibly through the entirety of the ship. [1:07:37] Why do his best to avoid them? [1:07:44] OK, Byzantium is going to point at them and just loudly say, You are trespassers. On my vessel. Identify yourselves, shot at the lingolyrs. Do you want to do? You want to give me like a, hmm. Don't know uh some kind of fellowship a command test maybe I would I could do a command test absolutely yeah yeah give it a minus 10 because they're strange empiric entities yeah yeah all right here we go that is gonna be a pretty fucking bad failure with a 95 and five degrees of failure okay so you you gain some attention from these little things um they uh they begin to rush towards you like in a tinier shoal that comes together maybe two dozen of these things what are you doing hey get away from me patriots what are all these things and before she could speak [1:09:07] They they smash into you at all sides by xanthi can you give me a willpower test at minus 10 I specialize in that very test I know you you upgraded if it's a willpower minus 10 can it be at minus nothing I'm kidding [1:09:28] But the test sure did that's an 18 on the die two degrees of success you seem unaffected by their attempts to you seem unaffected by their attempts to further corrupt your soul [1:09:41] No very touchy normally I don't mind that but I'd like to at least have a conversation first you as as you shake them off more of them continue to flit about they seem almost curious at this point as though they maneuver around after your outburst [1:10:00] Some of them come up to your face bethiel and chomp others seem almost as though they're around cephas he stinks oh fuck but they all like bites back they they retract in response you've got several of them seem to be piling around like piling around but specifically by your feet oh hello hello friends they're they're translucent map shark teeth mouths just chomp repeatedly at my feet or in the air up at you towards you but they're like around you like by your ankles essentially do you do you understand what I am saying little things do you give me a charm test at minus 10 sure I'll give you a charm test charm charm charm oh well I'm untrained in that one too wow true to four [1:11:28] I am chosen of corn uh eight degrees of failure for 83 as you as you speak to these things several of them immediately just like rush up to pass through you their mouths biting give me a willpower at minus 10 you've getting okay I love my minus 10 checks oh also you're still fatigued for some reason you need to yeah I put it at zero I can't get rid of it do you need to take a nap hold on where is it well how do I yeah you scroll down and put three to three you type that in for zero oh did I where's another comment yeah I see it there you're right yep yep regardless though your role yeah that's a hundred that's a critical failure wow oh this can't keep happening to him hey can you roll me [1:12:25] Can you roll me 1d5 that's a one you gain one corruption point from this all these things definitely begin to erode your soul as they chomp into you and you feel little bits of your etheric essence being torn away by these creatures though strangely enough um hmm you've ghenny oh you've ghenny can you give me a scrutiny at plus 10. Scrutiny yep sure I'll give you a scrutiny I can do that. [1:13:14] I can't roll anything, Thurston. 63, four degrees of failure. Okay. They chomp at your soul, and then they float off, leaving their sort of exploration of this room. And in those moments, you see more of these creatures just begin to drift off. Most of them start to move outside the ship, and you start to see them sort of floating like little lights outside of the plastic viewscreens on your vessel. [1:13:45] Hey, Speaker. Yeah? If that was you want to be corrupted, you can do that God of War meme for you. I think it's that one. I can't. No. Whatever the meme was where it's like, no, yeah, no, yeah, it is God of War meme when you're like yelling at Zeus. It's like, creatures, corrupt me and my soul is yours. [1:14:05] Actually, that's not a bad idea. Hold on. John, you ever heard the old adage that music soothed the savage beast? [1:14:17] I unholster my sonic blaster. Let's see what this does. I turn the settings down to non-lethal. Uh-huh. And I'm going to play my sonic blaster as an instrument and see how these creatures react. Perhaps I can calm them or even tame them, or at the very least curb them. [1:14:42] Give me a performance of plus 20. You got it. [1:14:51] That is going to be a 41 for five degrees of success. [1:14:57] Okay. You begin to play your tune. As you do so, the creatures outside and inside the vessel that move through, some of them pause, some of them turn. They begin to sort of... They sort of swirl around you like a spiral pattern. [1:15:22] As they float in the air, many of them start to do a pause outside the vessel. They're not coming back in, but you can certainly see them all waiting for a moment. [1:15:40] Enraptured by your tune very quickly as your melody continues on. This seems to placate them somehow, and with great rapidity, they quickly rush away from the vessel. [1:15:57] What the hell? Within moments, you see the entirety of this vast shoal of strange entities float off into space until they're nothing more but pinpricks of light that very soon disappear. [1:16:19] No! That worked! Goodness gracious! I didn't expect it to go that smoothly! You found one person that likes your music. Yeah, that's fine. Yeah, I turned the sonic blaster back on high. Yeah, hold on. Stand still! [1:16:36] No, I do not think I will. We're just going to let him rip a hole in the strategium, right? Yeah, I would shoot you any other place that wasn't the strategium. I can't remember my mother's face. Yeah, keep complaining. I'm sure someone will... [1:16:58] Oh, fuck. That's totally what that point of corruption did to you. Good job, honky. [1:17:07] We're all space marines. None of us can remember our mother's faces. You're not special. [1:17:14] Yeah. He can't remember his mother's face. I say, pointing at Bethael. [1:17:22] You're a fucking asshole today. Can I just give my point of corruption? You got worse. Thurston, I'm telling. [1:17:35] You made fun of me. Settle it in the PVP, children. Yeah. True. This is like Spongebob versus Sandy. Like, before we got taught how to kick ass. Take his ass to the pit. I have a special motion to Cephas. [1:17:53] Cephas, where is your companion? Cephas kind of like... He stops slouching for a second and stands more upright as he looks side to side as though he's not a companion. He's not used to not having Lucidrix literally following him around everywhere. That's a good question. I do not know where she is. No, she, again, we cut back to her. [1:18:15] I think I feel my arms getting stronger just holding this here. [1:18:22] No, that's... That's Rigamortis. Holy shit. Horrible cracking sounds. [1:18:33] Regardless, that really did not answer my question. Oh, my God. Wait, was that directed at me? I'm sorry. No, I said Tatrius. You did not answer my question. Ah, gotcha. [1:18:51] Sorry, can you say that again, sir? He was asking... She did not answer his question, so he's inquiring. I'm like, hey, what's the answer? You're about to say it. [1:19:05] Oh, sorry. I just got totally mind wiped there for a second. The question specifically was... He was asking what those things were. Okay. [1:19:19] They are creatures of the immaterium that exist in real space for minor points in time. They are shoals of soul energy. What the hell? We could have eaten those. Something perverse might have happened here. [1:19:43] We could have eaten them. And those tiny things were enough to throw an entire voyage... That ship off, of course. [1:19:56] Where did we end up? Alert, alert. Incoming signals. Incoming detected signals on Auspex. Well, answer it. [1:20:12] Signals are not communication. They are incoming vessels. Byzantine. All right. Identify. Yes, let me take a look. I'll interface with the shipboard Auspex. Okay. Yeah, give me, uh, give me, uh, tech use plus 30 with all your stuff. You got it, Blush. Hold on. Lifos will kind of elbow Seth as a bit going, he's such a good boy when he obeys. [1:20:41] Wow. Damn. That joke's not good. He's not going to tell you what he detects. Why am I being made privy to your perverse commentary? [1:20:51] It's always good to give you ammo. [1:20:57] I think you need it all for yourself, Lifos. It's a 65, two degrees of failure. Speaking of ammo, I'd like to shoot it right into my skull with that roll. [1:21:08] Yikes. Uh, well, that is insufficient. Uh, you are detecting several signals, but you are not able to pinpoint what they are. There are probably two dozen signals on approach. I can't identify them, but I would assume the worst. Let's muster to battle stations, everyone. Lifos just stands there. [1:21:37] Alright, everyone but Lifos. I don't have a station. What the hell do you do on the ship? You're the psyker. I do psychic things. Well, then look out the window and you let me know if there's anything psychic going on. Okay. He walks over and aura farms, his cloak flapping. [1:21:56] Assholes, all of you. We're pretty, we're pretty. I can't believe I'm surrounded by assholes. Does he get each fucking signal? Does he get each fucking signal? Does fucking, does fucking Evgeny just go up to the fucking Auspex array and try for himself? That would be awesome, actually. Yeah, he does. Yeah, okay. Give, give me a tech use at plus 30, Evgeny. I got you. Don't worry. Uh, tech use at plus 30. [1:22:24] That's a 50 for three degrees of success. Yippee. That's my first good roll. It's an actual challenge. You win. Sweet. And for that, you win this quote that you can read. Yippee. Oh, no. My favorite. Reading. [1:22:42] The masses are not a burden to be cast aside, but a garden to be tended with fire in fervor. Nurture their doubts as seeds, water their fears with blood, and watch the weeds of false faith wither beneath the true pantheon. For in their multitudes lies the harvest of souls. Ripe for the reaping. Excerpt from the Second Testament of Zol Ananke. [1:23:19] 24 vessels of varying size, the largest of them just bordering above the size of an escort to smaller, uh, to smaller sized vessels that maybe carry a crew complement of a few hundred at most, uh, burn towards you. They are all of imperial civilian makes and models. [1:23:47] You don't know this. He hasn't told you yet. Yevgeny is the only one who knows this. Yevgeny, have you figured out what the screams say? [1:23:59] Now, here's a fucking moral choice for Yevgeny if I ever saw it. Oh, boy. [1:24:11] Do I know anything more about them than that? The fact that they're dead? The fact they're covered in typical imperial civilial livery? Yeah, you know they're unarmed. Oh, my God. It appears to be standard issue imperial craft. Civilian by nature, possibly freighters, crew transports, general transportation vessels. But what is pertinent is that they are utterly defenseless. Ugh. [1:24:51] Byzantium. What's this? [1:24:57] I think boarding parties are in order. Gentlemen, I'll see you all in the Thunderhawk. I have a hail to make. [1:25:11] Perhaps... I'm just curious that we do not see their escorts anywhere. It would be unwise for civilian vessels to travel without one. Perhaps... They are either fleeing from something. It is an ambush waiting to happen. [1:25:32] Or something is very, very wrong with those ships. [1:25:38] Perhaps we should open with a hail before we blindly board them. Perhaps it may behoove us to employ deception from one who looks a bit more... And Yevgeny looks back. Specifically... At Byzantium frothing from his face hole. [1:26:00] Human. Hold on now. Are you telling me? All right, fine. You can be my puppet. But you should let me at the very least play a role, eh? [1:26:17] Tell them that there's an imperial inspection that is necessary at this juncture. And see what their response is. [1:26:34] Yes. Yes, yes. Yevgeny thinks for a moment. [1:26:44] You should be here. But they... Ah, Byzantium. I don't know how to tell you this. But they may find me a bit less shocking than you. I believe that. By all means. [1:27:03] Just act natural. I'd love to see you perform. [1:27:12] Okay. Thurston, I would love to open a hail to these civilian vessels. [1:27:19] Yeah, absolutely. Just audio, I'm guessing? Yes. Okay. Yeah, there's a crackle. One of the vessels seems to pick it up. And the comm officer responds, We have a connection, sir. [1:27:42] Greetings. This is the... Ordo Hereticus Vessel Designate Carcass. Hailing you, Imperial Vessel. Identify yourself. Ooh, let's see how good you are at lying, Yevgeny. I used to be good at this, but then I backtracked and didn't give myself lying. Yeah, now give me a deceive check. Challenging, please. Challenging, okay. Okay. [1:28:17] What's the worst that could happen? I think we're about to find out. [1:28:24] Or not. That is a 15 for two degrees of success against a 25. Holy shit. Let's fucking go. Victor Lee. [1:28:38] The vessel drops the comm. You can tell the audible click as you give your proclamation. Oh. [1:28:50] Warning. The incoming flotilla is breaking apart. They are taking escape vectors in all different routes. It's the Inquisition. Scatter. [1:29:03] All ahead, fall into their nearest transport. The rest of us into the Thunderhawk will pick off of the remains of the debris. Do everything that you can to harass these convoys. Teleport strikes. Let the space marines know a feast is abound. And then I run to the Thunderhawk. Cephas is going to turn to the side to Lyphos. He said the space marines. Was he referring exclusively to us, or is there something I'm unaware of? [1:29:33] Your guess is as good as mine. I think he's dreaming in when he's awake again. Of course. [1:29:44] Just let him go. We'll wait. And he'll... Actually, he'll look to Cephas and go, Maybe for the menials we have with all those guns, I would possibly support him to pick off a couple of these. Board the big ship and invade it. Board it. Would you like to give the order? [1:30:08] We may as well. It's not like we're going to... Incoming audio transmission from larger vessel. Give gunny. We are receiving... [1:30:27] Is... Is it true? Are you... Of the Imperium? [1:30:44] Of a time and a place. But perhaps one a bit more reasonable than the Imperials you may be used to. Fellow citizen. [1:31:03] The spirits of our home. We followed them and they led us to you. [1:31:12] Could we find salvation with you? Who is we? You still have not identified yourself. Me and the pilgrims that I lead. I... I am but a simple prior. My vessel, the... The Narasimha. Sorry. [1:31:46] The Narasimha's grace. I lead these people to shepherd them to new and better lives. And the spirits asked us to bring them to you. They played for us such a beautiful melody over our Vox Ares. [1:32:21] Evgeny looks back towards the party. He kind of gives a shrug of... Does this sound like something you know? Does this sound like something one of you would do? Melody. [1:32:39] What do you mean, melody? We have a number of musicians of our own. It was a musical score. We recorded it, though the recordings do no justice. Is it not this? And, like, you hear the replay of Byzantine's music. Oh, my God. [1:33:14] Tell them it sounds like she... It sounds bad, honestly. You're running to a thunderhawk to murder these people. I know, I know. That's what makes this so funny. [1:33:30] Tell them to come aboard, Evgeny. I will go fetch Byzantine. [1:33:41] Call her on the Vox, Bethael. That should be faster than running after him. Sorry, Evgeny. Just imagine the thunderhawk already out. We can see it out the window. You just hear the cat calling. You know what? Benji's just on top of it, just shooting off sonic blasts in space. Somehow it works. You want to know what? You want to know what went through my mind? Why? I was just imagining the thunderhawk being lifted off by Zanty piloting it. [1:34:09] He's just smashing it over and over again into the bay doors. Accept the order! Open the door! Let me at them! Open the door! Open your... Open the door! Music is certainly a melody, but what you heard was merely a sample. We have the composer on our vessel. [1:34:54] If you seek salvation, if you seek freedom, we will grant it to you, to all of you. Merely recall the vessel. Who are attempting to translate and allow our transports to come aboard. [1:35:18] Oh. We will lead you to paradise. I shall call them back. I shall. Yes. But they cannot flee this system. I am the only warp-capable vessel. [1:35:38] Good. May truth find you. We are sending a transport over now. And I will close the car. And then click. [1:36:03] Lifehose put a hand on the beginning shoulder and go, Well done. [1:36:12] Lifehose will then lean past him and press on the com- like, press a couple of the glyphs there to basically try to get a hold of Byzante. [1:36:23] Byzante. What? I'm at the Thunderhawk! Where are you? Land the Thunderhawk and come back. Why didn't you take off? Are you kidding? I was presuming I was incorrect. I wouldn't leave you behind. No, I know who you were. The, the ones that you wanted to destroy have heard your music and they wish to join us already. Come back to the Tritesium and, and wait to welcome enjoyers of music. [1:36:56] Oh. Oh-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho. Now this isn't one of your patented lifehose tricks, is it? He just cuts off the com. I was gonna, I was gonna have Cephas, I was gonna have Cephas come over. Oh, so no, you come over, sorry. Does the sound of, like, heavy metal footsteps, heavier than the rest, tromps over? [1:37:22] Byzante, it is not a lie. You will be rather excited to hear this. [1:37:30] What a wonderful day! I'll turn off the com and then begin running full tilt again. I really should take a running feat or something. I know. Gotta get that Slaanesh fastest fuck feat. Thurston, as the GM, I wanna ask, how far away is the landing bay from the Tritesium? [1:37:50] I mean, like, realistically, it's probably, like, fucking 20, 30 minutes. It's like, if it's the bigger ship, it would take the, if he has to do it manually, it's a couple days to go through. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, but Byzante's doing the claddy-with-a-chance-of-meatballs police officer sprint towards it. The worst part about it's gonna be the elevator ride, because we're in Emperor class, so it's like, that shit's just parked in the nearest shuttle bay, and there's, like, a quadrillion of those. [1:38:18] Yeah, it'll be easier for you, if they weren't. Sorry, I was, I was recently reading that new workbook, and I got a whole lesson of, like, when a ship goes down, it's like, how long does it take people just to get through that damn thing? Yeah. Okay, yeah, that's fair. By the way, if you want something that is the most inconsistent storytelling in any 40K thing ever, it's naval combat, because everyone handles it differently, because, like, things take, like, days to happen, and then you're in a book, and it's like, no, this action all happens in a chap, and, like, it's... [1:38:51] Yeah, because Thurston, the idea of something taking days to happen is thematic, but it's also horribly boring. Well, yeah, I understand why they do it, of course. I know, I just make fun of 40K, because, like, this is really cool and thematic. It's just a shame it's really boring to, like, try and create. [1:39:12] We should pull out our whippy sticks and push our vessels. Yes, very good, now fire your torpedoes, now push them. That's right. That's the best part, is that they're all hand-loaded. Unless you're the fucking Tau, and then your torpedoes can turn 45 degrees, because fuck you, that's why. It's really funny, because if you play BFG, everyone else is playing, like, Napoleonic era, like, oh, cross the T, blah, blah, blah, blah, and then, like, the Tau are out there, and they're just the U.S. Navy. [1:39:41] They're just fighting, like, the actual U.S. Navy. Just, yeah, this torpedo is gonna fucking find you from 8 quadrillion miles away, and it's gonna blow you up, and that's not really... We're not even gonna be in visual range when that happens. [1:39:58] So he's running the Necrons, which are actually just UFO aliens. Yeah, that's running up. True. [1:40:06] All right, Byzantium probably returns back at this point. Yes. [1:40:13] You have some time before one of the vessels from this flotilla sends a shuttle over. What would you like to discuss? [1:40:26] Well... So you said they like my music. [1:40:35] That's a guess, Courtney. Laferriss looks to Cephas, as if he thinks he was trying to say something. At present, yes. They do seem to be following your music. They played us a snippet of something that they heard and have been following, attempting to find, and that has supposedly brought them to us. The only issue at present is what they're expecting. Yes. And, everyone, I would like us to all recognize Evgeny today. [1:41:14] Obvious. A beautiful, beautiful soul who has just brought more souls to the carcass. Evgeny? As he looks to you, waiting for acknowledgment. And Evgeny will look towards Laferriss. [1:41:36] So proud. And I would like to invite you all to witness the Evgeny you have consigned. Whoop knows how many souls to us. And soon they will be in our bays, lined up, ready to be received. And I invite you to be there. To be there so they can look upon you, their savior, as you lie to them. And we all can witness your work. [1:42:18] I have not saved them yet, Lyphos. It is their choice if they will be saved [1:42:28] Or if they are as damned as the rest of the deluded dogs of the Imperium. Lyphos will kind of do a bow. It is always a choice. He'll do a bow and go. [1:42:44] And he mentions the rest of the party. Shall we watch Evgeny? [1:42:54] They're drawn here by my music. He just ignores. Oh my god. [1:43:03] Stem. Wait, when did this become Evgeny's triumph? [1:43:09] Evgeny, you've done a great job. I would love to have you there. But let's not forget. [1:43:17] Hold on a second. [1:43:23] No, Evgeny, you can take the lead on this one. I'd love to see what you do. I would like to... I'm sorry, go ahead. I interrupted you. He'll just give Lyphos a dirty look though as he says that. And as you do so, if he could wink at you, he would. He will unfurl his cloak. And Thurston, can I do some psychic thing to change the color of the cloak from, you know, thousand sun blue to... [1:43:52] Would red be appropriate for Evgeny? [1:43:59] He does keep rolling eights. That is true. Although his armor is more of a... It's more like a toad. Closer to an off-white with black and gold. You do have black accents under your armor, so that might pair well enough. [1:44:22] I mean, the color of your braid, actually. Yes, they'll be red then in that case. Yeah, yeah. It's kind of like that maroon-ish kind of like... So Thurston, I'd like to propose if I can do some psychic stuff to change the color of the cloak as he drapes it on Yevgeny to be like, as if like anointing him in some way of, here you go. Give me a sign of signs check. [1:44:47] Excellent. Any ups or downs? Nope. [1:44:57] Ah, terrible. That's a 78 for four degrees of failure. One off from a double. That was the only thing I cared about. Yeah, you can change the color. Okay. So he will play something on you and modify it and go, yeah, who helped you? Look, Zephys. Thank you. [1:45:24] I, myself, would be inappropriate to join for this, I believe. [1:45:34] He'll nod and leave Yevgeny and go like, Pleasure, Yevgeny. [1:45:42] I will be new on the observation decks out of sight if you need any help. Now go on. I believe that you'll be arriving within the hours. Go ahead and prepare yourself. Actually, I thought, it occurs to me, Thurston. Yes? We've not really, but we've been playing kind of fast and loose with minion rules because normally when I make them do something they're not keen on doing, I have to roll against Fellowship to see if they follow through on it. [1:46:15] Which, obviously, I haven't exactly been putting her in, like, the line of fire. Would it be possible to disguise Lucitrix and have her be there [1:46:24] In my stead since I don't think disguising Zephys is going to work too well? [1:46:29] I mean, any Astartes. Might not work too well. But, yeah, I mean, if you want to, for sure. Oh, Bethael might pass. Just gotta, like, cut off the tail. [1:46:40] Gotta get Byzantium a wig. We're gonna get you a cool hood. We're gonna get everyone who has, like, a mostly okay, like, body and a screwed up head a hood. That'll work, right? These guys' people live in the Imperium. They're used to seeing dead baby bots. You know. True. True, but I don't know of any Imperial technology that requires your face to look quite like Byzantium's. That is true. [1:47:07] That is fair. Not yet, anyway. It's coming. Next edition, maybe. Next edition. We get to have the Noisemarine adjacent real one, but it works for the Ecclesiarchy. Don't you know? [1:47:23] I guess, to answer my question, could I send her along in my stead? Maybe just disguised. Absolutely. Absolutely. Perfect. [1:47:33] Okay. So, who is going to go meet this delegation? Obviously, Evgeny. We have loose tricks. Who else? I'll go. [1:47:42] Beth, I will go. He looks, I mean, he looks like an Astartes, but he looks relatively normal by Astartes standards, minus the nails. True. And even then, you could pass off as, I don't know, a red talon. They're just dogmatics. Can we dunk your hand in or spray paint your arm chrome? [1:48:09] Okay. Lifos, are you going to go with Cephas and just observe or are you going with the group? Okay. Going to observe. All right. The way he can still influence things if he needs help. I assume there's like a one-way glass pane over the observation area of the embarkation deck. Yeah. So you can have this meeting sort of with the two other Marines up above. Yeah. Installed yesterday. [1:48:38] Yeah, perfectly. Before we begin, do you guys mind if we take a quick break so I can use the rest of my field? I was just about to say, now that we're doing that, let's take a break here. Hey, everyone. I have currently found a new tome, a gift from Zeke itself, but it also has other weird colors on it. What is a weird color for you? [1:48:53] What you define as a weird color and what I define as a weird color are very different things, Lifos. Is red a weird color to you, Lifos? Yes. For some reason, there's red in color. There's green and purple and at least there's things blue on it. Wait. No. In fact, it's not this at all. It's me ruining the fucking joke. [1:49:18] Yeah, it's got green and purple and blue. It has none of those things. I'm looking at a picture here and I think you might be colorblind, Lifos. Is this the book that you're talking about? It's red and black and white. Yes, that is the one. The Game Master's Book of Traps, Puzzles, and Dungeons. And it's the Archivist's Edition. I've heard of this. It's the ultimate treasure for any aspiring master of dungeons who wishes to challenge their subjects against deadly traps, engaging puzzles, and Rube Goldberg-style contraptions. [1:49:52] Oh, it's so much more you could even cry. Who the hell is Rube Goldberg? Don't worry about it. You don't have to worry about the Deluxe Archive Quality Edition, the best-selling Game Master, the best-selling Game Master's Book of D&D Traps, Role-Playing Game Puzzles, and Dun... Why is it and Dungeons and Dragons? And Dungeons and Dragons. And it's lowercase, so I think it just means Dungeons and Dragons, like the object and the beast. [1:50:22] Lifos looking at it. Lifos, this symbol here is an ampersand. It is meant to indicate and as well. Oh, I see. He's right to be outraged, because then he has to say, Role-Playing Game Puzzles, and Dungeons and Dragons, and Lions, and Tigers, and Bears. This is what happens when you're trying to type this script on a phone. You're so good. [1:50:49] But of course, he grabs Yevgeny. You must know that in this book, there are endless options for populating campaigns, such as brain games, RPG puzzles, spiked pits, and even more deadly traps, and more. Can't you believe it, Yevgeny? Oh, my God. My mind can hardly... I can hardly take this. It's almost as bad as being put through the wringer by you. It seems with the things inside this tome, it can really push player characters to the limit, adding all new levels of excitement and anxiety to every tabletop RPG session. [1:51:18] I don't think I can survive many more RPGs myself, sir. You haven't survived one so far. Yeah, so far. You don't know how many men I lost to not die. But give me that. Seems as if this tome has the same great content as an original, but with a new, fine, red packaging. I can't believe you can read. I can't! You have no sense of taste calling in on the red packaging. [1:51:46] You should pay attention to the fact that it's bound in black imitation leather, with silver and crimson foil stamping on the front and spine. Notice that. The... [1:52:05] We drag him away as he loses his mind. Seppus grabs the book. Participates inplets Crim's on foil, he's so pretentious. You can say red. It also has a sewn binding with a rounded spine for pronounced hubs with durability, much like any good specimen sitting in the tanks below decks. How many spines do you own? I don't own many. The creatures that still have them do, and they're my amis through and through. [1:52:29] They're perfectly rounded. No, no! Get the hell out of me! I'll kill all of you! All right, here's the thing. Here's what you really got to pay attention to. This satin finish ribbon marker that's used for quick navigation. Ah, that reminds me. I need to go get the navigator. We've got to make an experimental warp jump into the middle of that sun over there. No! Get over here! [1:52:50] Stop him! Stop him! Get over here! Get his ass! Why was he doing that? That's weird. He keeps distracting from the metallic crimson page edges. That really catch the eye, no? Seems like someone got a very bad paper cut. I guess Lifeless is running back. Lady, stop him! Bang, bang, bang! Now give me that! Give me that eye catching! No, Coven decided now has. It leaves me stunned. [1:53:15] I will use this to bind Byzante so he won't kill us all in this ship. Byzante, I'm coming for you! No! You can just ask! [1:53:27] I just start beating you with it. Given how many people write about us, I'm actually surprised he needs anything to bind Byzante at this point. Now remember, you too, menials who live out there in the warp in the unknown, can purchase this very book by heading down to the links below, in the description, or on the screen right now. Good luck typing that. Buy it, and I won't beat your ass! [1:53:51] Thank you, Topics Media, for sponsoring this delightful experience. Alright, so Evgeny, you, Beth Eyal, and Byzante make your way to one of the smaller embarkation decks on the ship. No thunderhawks or the like to be exploded or destroyed, should this be a surprise attack. However, there is an observation deck above the embarkation that looks on over it with a one-sided glass, so from that, your allies, both Cephas and Lifos, can look down. [1:54:24] Uh... You are waiting. Waiting there for some time, probably about 30 minutes. [1:54:32] Would it be an imposition for me to just say that at some point during all of that, Lucitrix showed up with her arms just like permanently locked above her? [1:54:44] Can we stick a sign in her hands that says, welcome guys? Is that what Yevgeny does? Welcome. You could do that, certainly. She's like filed down her horn. She's got like, she's bandaged herself up even more than usual. You can't even tell that she's oozing anything. Wearing a long robe, wearing a mask. The only thing she's oozing is enthusiasm. Sure. How long must I hold this sign for? [1:55:16] Until we determine if they're going to live or die or maybe die because they're going to kill us. I'm not totally sure yet. Not until they get here. Understood. I have a sinking feeling that there's something horribly wrong with them because this should not work out in our favor with everything else going the way that it has. [1:55:43] Oh, you're paranoid. It's going to be fine. Yevgeny's staring back at fucking Byzantium, like shooting daggers in him of, do you remember what happened? Do you remember how you found me? This happened like weeks ago. [1:56:02] Listen, you're either going to live or you're going to die and you're probably going to live. [1:56:08] Lord Misfit, how many past things have happened that lead you to believe this? What, that you're either going to live or you're going to die? No, the thing before that, Lord. Oh, that you're probably going to live. No. Slightly before that. What did I say? You were mentioning something along the lines of... She looks down. Her arms above her head also sag down a bit. No, actually, no, I've forgotten it. [1:56:40] What's going on with your arms? They're so discolored. Well, I was trying to lift some weights down below so I could heft my new weapon, but I believe I held the bar a bit too long. [1:56:55] Yeah. Well. That's rough. But, buddy, I don't think we've ever talked. You simply smell too bad. That's understandable, Lord. Yes, yes it is. I'm so understandable. And then Byzantium look out, very proud of himself for a moment. End of conversation there. His enhanced eyesight at that exact moment spots the pinprick of the shuttle approaching. [1:57:29] Here comes the bride. And we never found if they had an escort or weapons of any sort. [1:57:40] From what I understand, no. The only thing that we know is that that is the only warp-capable vessel of their flotilla. That's all we know. But did they survive this long? Isn't that the million-thrown question? [1:58:00] Other gods could be looking out for... It's very possible out this far. [1:58:08] If they have no weapons, it certainly wasn't my god. [1:58:13] It certainly wasn't my god. The shuttle comes in. Visibly, you can tell it's an imperial Arvis lighter. Oh, no. [1:58:24] PTSD flashbacks. The doom theme starts playing. No, not again. No, this one is rusted and discolored. And looks just terrible. [1:58:40] Oh, no, not that piece. So it looks slightly better than the one that we used. A little bit. It's so decayed. I love my Arvis hoopty. Yeah. It comes in, adjusts itself, and comes to a stop. [1:59:01] The rear hatch opens. And emerging from it, is a lone, [1:59:11] Unaugmented human woman who steps onto the deck. She is garbed in blue robes with white accents. She has some kind of white headdress with a gold or brass plate on top of it. A large neck piece with an inlaid orange gemstone. Yeah, so you see this woman. She... She comes out of the back hatch of the vessel and she looks around fairly, like, astonished at what she's seeing. [1:59:44] She especially places her eyes on the Astartes. [1:59:49] And immediately after taking this sight in, she gets on her knees in supplication to all of you. [2:00:05] Hey, you. No, you say. You talk. We all got so excited to say something to someone prostrating themselves in mercy before us. [2:00:17] Oh. Oh. Thank you. Thank you, lords. Ah. Ah. It is true. The spirits, they brought us here. They... They brought us here. Oh, thank them. You shall take us away from this place. From the horrors within. [2:00:37] Indeed. Sister, please. There's no need to sully yourself in such a manner. We must look out for each other. And Evgeny will go to her. He'll drop to his one knee and, like, offer a hand to help her out. To rack up, like. No, no. There's no need for that right now. [2:00:55] No. Uh, no, no, no. There is all needs for due respect. You... You are what was promised to us. The salvation from the blight we exist in. Of course. Of course, sister. [2:01:20] This is a time of terror and horrible things. Much so for ones like you and I. Much so for ones like you and I. Small fragile things running under foot of a world of gods and monsters it is by no nothing short of Providence that you were ushered and brought here like your others your fellows your followers to me to my brothers in arms and my fellow devoted you are safe tell me blessings be blessings be what sort of blight do you speak of what is Herod you and led you all so far from the safer arms of your fellow man I came to this system in our vessel I was I was guided here to save the people of the world my vessel could only hold so much but it came here [2:02:29] Late and with so many smaller ones they are the ones around we failed as many as we could before the Devils came for us Devils yes of what Devils do you speak [2:02:56] Crimson Devils that descend upon them and their brass and their weaponry but [2:03:12] They all perks up what do these Devils look like like you but more larger fiendish they have enslaved the people of this world for so long the world that we saved these people from now we seek to to escape to to go far before they detect what we have done what have you done came while they were away we took their people as many as we could to save the people of this world we took their people as many as we could to save the people of this world we took their people as many as we only a small fraction those who would come and we went out to the spec to the stars what is your world called it is not my world it is merely the world I went to free these people what was it [2:04:32] Called it is known to the people as banish does that ring a bell okay uh [2:04:52] Let's let's say the only one who I will allow a check on this from will be cephas oh um can I hear this from there I assume that you've got like vox relays and stuff that are picking this up because I assume you'd want to listen in on it he does I'm just I was just curious uh yeah give me give me a adeptus astartes uh common lore check at a minus 10. Okay I'm gonna spend one of my infamy this time around to do that at a at just normal so you don't lose the point it's just your once per year yeah I know I got that I got my two that I got actually wait what is my enemy yet ah my infamy is 34 I have three texts again three nice yeah so I'm making a flat roll fuck 72 [2:05:51] Four degrees of failure I got nothing there's there's like an itch of familiarity but you're you're you're just not sure cephas something seems off um thurston yes and you can reject me you did say the only one be cephas but I just have a inkling can I make an attempt using demonology no okay fair enough [2:06:29] Scared yeah it's a situation where I know where these guys ran away from yeah [2:06:36] But you shall you shall take these people and you shall bring them to freedom of course [2:06:56] By bringing them thus you have saved so so many more they will be free freer than they've ever known likely ever would in the current situation [2:07:23] Blesses upon you hey thursday is there any check I could make about [2:07:32] Gleaning the origins of these people uh checking checking now okay just wanted to make sure [2:07:42] And did you have pursuers from this place our aspects of the earth indeed are heralded in your other fates demons in red our aspects is amiga we saw nothing we trusted in the spirits we followed the spirits I'm sorry the aspects they do nothing my eyes sorry the way you do the accent thing [2:08:17] Bethael's going to side eye by Zanty for a moment so [2:08:28] You run from devils in red to the sound of he says the word like it tastes bad [2:08:42] Sacred music spirits related to us we followed it for days it was no spirit it might not have been a spirit that composed the orchestra I admit young small little mortal but [2:09:18] Certainly it was one that spirited my song to you and to that I thank you for the kind compliment my brothers and I will happily shepherd your people away from those dreadful red devils though I will hate this place of ours the carcass our little sanctuary it is often less free than we would care to keep it [2:09:53] But I will happily offer your people a place here happily if you'll take it [2:10:05] We can offer what we can in exchange to assist for our salvation [2:10:14] Whatever it is here it will be better than being chosen by the devils to become a broken one broken one? Yes [2:10:30] Those explain that do not survive their tests they have taken so many they have taken so many since the sky split open anew I think I know the answer to this but does this sound like anything Beth Iole would know? No about the world eaters? No to be fair there's a lot of red and brass in Korn's repertoire that could be a lot of red and brass A lot of things. It could be anyone. [2:11:09] It's true. [2:11:13] Did they... Did they bear a mark like this one? Any, uh, gestures to his pauldron? Uh, the one with the World Eater sigil on it? No, simply their skull. [2:11:29] Ah, I see. Different ilk, then. We don't know that for certain. [2:11:39] If it would please you lots, I can return to my vessel and prepare the people. The smaller vessels will take some time to dock here, but we could transport the people over if you can hold them and leave this place before the Red Devils find us. We have a great many places aboard the carcass that will accommodate you. I myself am a, uh, a priestess in service, too. [2:12:15] All... A certain portion of worship, probably. If you can afford the ship, I would happily take you to our cloister. If it pleases you, then, I shall get them. I shall have them fill your embarkation decks, bring our souls on board for you to save. [2:12:35] It would please me a great deal. Those who are combat-capable, separate them out. We have no weapons. We are not combat-capable. [2:12:49] If you were to be given arms, how many are combat-capable? Oh, of the people, I thought you meant the vessels. Oh, no, no. We're used to having vessels with no guns. They are a hardy stock, but they do not know modern weapons. They are a primitive backwater people who have eschewed technology for their lives. You can give them a spear, and they will know what to do with it. [2:13:18] Then that is a starting point. We can teach them. It should be easy. Oh, I should mention, though, once you join this vessel, you will have to swear yourself to a new pantheon. [2:13:40] No matter what pantheon we swear ourselves to, it will be better than the servitude and lies we are forced to endure now. [2:13:50] Amen. Welcome, sister, to the service of Sly. Slamesh. Shut the fuck up, shut the fuck up! [2:14:01] No, I'll fucking say it. Slamesh, it is an interesting name. I shall incorporate it into the teachings. Yes, there are many blessings. [2:14:18] Klaxons begin to go off. The dull sound of a servitor voice comes through each of your vox links. Incoming signals. Protected incoming vessels at far auspex range on approach at high speeds. I pose. We'll look at Cephas. There are your pursuers. And you're like, the party's arrived. I think we should get back to the Stutisium. Your pursuers have arrived. Shall I begin to arrange the boarding onto this vessel? [2:14:56] With all alacrity. Yes. Of course. And she nods and scurries off into the Arvis. Quick thing. As she's running to the Arvis, [2:15:08] Lyphos would like to cast Thoughtsending to her. Okay. Fucking asshole. [2:15:20] What was that, Speaker? What was that, Speaker? You want to present to the class? I got to do my seat shit, man. We got the... We got the Nurglite fast talking them into the ooze pit. Got the psychic emanations. They like my music, man. Yeah. Yes. And now you understand what it's like to be used by the powers that be. Speaker, when you go to Lollapalooza, it's not for one act. [2:15:51] Yeah, you do. It's my act. You guys can't even play music. You guys suck. I can play the brown note and you'll hear it. Yeah, here's the psychic. [2:16:03] It's 54 for eight degrees of success. Nice. [2:16:09] That'll do. Basically, I send a thought into her head as she basically quickly runs, goes to Arvis lighter. And I only leave, Beware the lies of Slaane. [2:16:25] And then that's it. And he goes back to the strategium. I like, yeah, the woman likes her face snaps back briefly. Just as the, as the hatch closes. [2:16:35] Um, and then the Arvis takes off. What are the rest of you doing? [2:16:40] Uh, Cephas is gonna prepare himself for potential boarding combat because we're certainly not going to be able to take a stand up fight. Uh, okay. Lucitrix is going to walk up to Yevgeny. [2:16:54] Uh, brother, a moment. Could you bend my arms for me? I can't seem to move them. Oh yes, of course, sister. Uh, and Yevgeny will carefully try to bend her arms back down without snapping them off. Oh, you don't snap them off, but there is a lot of crunching and then there is some snapping. He's like, he's like choking down a little bit of vile, vile in his throat. [2:17:16] It's like, oh, oh, oh. They kind of fall to her sides like Jacob's Ladders, kind of limp before they slurp back up and re-sock it into her shoulders. Oh my god. That's so much better. That was deeply unpleasant. Arendelle. Apologies. I had someone who was supposed to be spotting me, but he left me behind. Lord. [2:17:41] What? You left a spot? You were supposed to be spotting her? I was not. Dude, that's like new level one. Even I know that. You were spotting me and then you left. What was I supposed to spot you for eternity? More than five minutes. It was longer than five minutes. You said you were going to be right back. Not cool Bethoyel, not cool. Oh, quiet. [2:18:06] I'll just forget. We had best get moving before. Unfortunate wording action. [2:18:13] All right. Finally. The three of you manage to reach the strategium. [2:18:25] As you come in, Cephas and Lyphos are there just hearing the reports from the captain's voice. There are three vessels on approach, per our specs detection. One at the head, perhaps an hour or two ahead of the remainder. They are space marine strike cruisers. [2:18:51] Ah, shit. There is an interesting vessel. Our aspects detect they have full crew complements of Astartes on board. [2:19:02] Oh. Any heraldry? [2:19:10] Yes. One moment. About to say we are not liable to pull off the same gambit we did last time. We would not exactly have the ability to sacrifice so many and they would likely just shoot down the transports anyway. [2:19:27] I'll get you to read this quote, Urndel. Oh boy. [2:19:34] We shall never rest while a single renegade draws breath. Let them fear our names. Quote from Lights, Exorcist's Captain. [2:19:47] Strike cruiser comes barreling through on the hololithic display in the strategium. All of you see it. The light somewhat shifts in hues going from the standard green to give it a more tactile rendition, though the metal and brass hull are visible. There is a notable coloration along the prow of the vessel. Wherein you see what appears to be a skull. The skull itself has horns protruding from it that kind of curve inwards towards the nose area. [2:20:38] Unmarred, unadorned, unscathed. These are not our brethren. [2:20:48] Thurston. Yes. I would like to cast Glimpse. [2:20:55] Ooh, what does Glimpse do? Uh, remember the mirrors thing that we did? Let's begin to see it in the future a little bit. Uh, the sidecar receives a brief flash of insight from the immediate future. A critical momentary but significant advantage on this next action. [2:21:13] It's like, mechanically it helps for evasion skills, but I think last time roleplay-wise I'm like, let me just get, like, a blurry sense. I'll let you do it, sure. [2:21:24] Oh, thanks, Thurston. Uh, yeah. I'll do it unfettered so I don't have the perils. [2:21:36] That's a 58 for 5 degrees of success. You have the, the briefest image of your vessel being pounded by boarding torpedoes. Um, and then very systematically key parts of your vessel start exploding. [2:21:52] And then you are back where you are. Laphos will immediately turn to the, uh, to the capital. The captain's. Or basically everybody going. Go, going. We need to flee if we're going to survive this. They're merely going to fire upon us and try to board us. We're not going to win this. We need to leave now. What is the status on the engine? As he looks at the speaker. [2:22:23] Or the voice of the captain. The warp engine is almost operable. We should be able to translate shortly. Uh. We are boarding as many of these vessels as we can as quickly as we can. They should be operable by the time the boarding is complete. Laphos looks at the servitor. Like, give me an accurate estimate, estimate of it a bit. [2:22:51] I need an exact time. Compliance. Estimating source of it. Uh. [2:23:01] And suddenly all the servitors on the bridge start. Uh. Bysante. As they begin to seize up. What do you, what do you want me to do about every servitor on the bridge? Not that, you fool. Alright, fine. You, all of us are aware of the Voicraft, is that correct? Indeed, I am. What is our probability of surviving a strike from those cruisers? From all of those cruisers? Ha! Not very good, but fortunately for you. [2:23:37] Actually, one, if I'm going to say anything more, I'm going to need to pass a willpower test. Thank you. [2:23:47] With a 39, I fail? Yeah, you do. You added a difficulty minus 10. Yeah, it is. It is at minus 10. Yeah. [2:24:00] Well, my willpower vets did not save me. Well, I can tell you this much. You're all going to have to follow my lead. [2:24:10] I'll take that as we're fucked. No. No? Could we [2:24:17] Perhaps hail our new, not escorts, but escortees, and perhaps attempt to convince some of them to make an ultimate sacrifice of some kind to forestall these vessels? I agree with that. I agree, but I also agree with the spirit of the idea. Maybe we can buy ourselves as much time as possible for our drives to get ready. Let's save that as an alternative if that's agreeable to you, Cephis. [2:24:51] I believe our drive. One of the servitors begins to speak up over the conversation. Incoming allolithic broadcast from lead vessel, vessel, vessel, vessel, vessel, vessel. Evgeny, answer it. Almost all would answer it. I don't think they're going to mind. [2:25:16] Main screen turn on. In appears a hololithic representation of a member of the Adeptus Astartes, except this member of the Adeptus Astartes does not match the Red Devil signature which you were given, save for a single red pauldron that does bear the marking on the strike cruiser. Instead, this individual is bedecked in cobalt blue armor. And where is a strange [2:25:55] Mark of power armor? Something that is unknown to almost any of you. As the hololith comes on. What's more striking is the hololithic display, which is meant to be create life size representations. This figure stands taller than the other Astartes on the bridge by a noticeable margin. [2:26:26] Figures voice. Oh. The figure's voice speaks. This is librarian Bail Vordane of the Exorcist. Chapter of the Second Company to the traitor bastard vessel we are about to destroy. We commend your misbegotten souls into the immaterium so that they may one day feed our recruitment. I won't get such a challenge, you fool! [2:27:11] Don't you understand? War Master Abaddon's plan was faultless already. Our troops are ready. Murder! Murder classes! A fleet of them behind you. Watch yourself, Bail Vordane. I'm going to try and deceive this guy into actually being a little more cautious and approach. I love this. Our bro Abaddon is coming. Trust. I like the idea specifically of look behind you! [2:27:41] Look over there! What in space? But actually though. But actually. Look behind you. [2:27:52] Can I try and make a deception of some sort? Absolutely. Minus ten, please. That's very fair. [2:28:01] I'll spend a infamy on this though. Sure. Because all my new recruits, we need manpower. Falky, desperately. I really don't want to leave these guys behind. And I guess, you know, it's like... Sort of the right thing to do. I don't know. You know, it works. All right. Here we go. [2:28:28] Seven! Yay! Seven! Seven with six degrees of success! Seven! There you go. Seven! [2:28:44] All right, speaker. Step into your office. Count them pleading. Sure. [2:28:53] One strike cruiser begins to slow slightly, one of the further back ones. [2:29:01] The others continue their approach. Vordane's hololithic avatar crackles slightly. [2:29:13] If that is a foolish deception, it is a bold one, and I commend you on that. But it is the only commendation you will have before I come and rip your heart out. End communication. And the hololith cuts. Goodbye. Finally. Guys, this is pretty bad. [2:29:37] That's a fucking librarian. What? Shut up! It's not that. It's one space marine. Don't be afraid of one space marine. You should be afraid of... How many starcruisers are there? Three. Hey, seven. Seven. Hey, Cephas. Since you've seen this now, do you want to give me a common lore Adeptus Astartes, no penalty this time? Sure. I'll do that. [2:30:04] I'd rather save my remaining two infamy I have, but I will roll that again. Mm-hmm. [2:30:12] Please. I remember lore right. I'm the Exorcist. This is out of the Exorcist, the Inquisition one. No, that's the Minotaurs. No, no. Thurston, I want to ask something. Yeah? I know how you feel about retroactives. I assume you want to spend that infamy point to succeed, correct? Because we're kind of nearing the end and you have two of them to burn still? Yeah. I'll allow it. Okay, so that's one degree of success with 49 to 51. [2:30:42] Just so I can tell Zoran and co, the Exorcists are indeed associated with the Inquisition. Yeah. Because if I remember... I think there's a call because they work with the Inquisition a whole bunch, if I remember right. Yeah. Yeah. They basically are the default call for them. Yeah. They're a big thing. Oh, yeah. For the Malliots. Yeah. The Ordos Malliots. Yeah. Yeah. The Minotaurs are actually the... [2:31:09] They're the ones who are the High Lords of Terra's bitches. [2:31:15] The Exorcists, however, are notable because... And this would be like the extent of Cephas and probably why you know this. [2:31:24] Their most notable trait is that they undergo intentional demonic possession therapy, where each of their Marines is essentially... Has a demon go into them that stays in them for 12 hours. Oh, yeah. And then they exorcise the demon. They're so fucking cool, dude. [2:31:49] That is kind of metal as hell. I was reading on them at one point and I'm... Oh, fuck. I love the exorcism. It's pretty bad. It's pretty bad for us. This is a little lore tidbit I didn't know. I'm writing this down. Also, they're big Marines, too. So... Yup. They're big... Are they... They're Primaris. Primaris. They're Primaris. [2:32:14] Oh, God. We don't know what the fuck a Primaris Marine is. Nope. We don't know if they made a bigger model. Yeah. How bad could it be? Actually, do I know about the Primaris? Yeah. [2:32:24] Oh, fuck. They're gonna come at us with their ATVs. Because of anybody, it probably would be me if anybody would have seen one. It's true. It's true. It's true, actually. You know what? I'll allow you. You don't have a lot, but I'll let you give me a war check at minus 20. Oh, fuck. Yeah. It's gonna be tough, but you might know it. You're just a guy. [2:32:43] You're just a little guy. Do you know war? Have I heard of the Indominus Crusade? Exactly. Exactly. Have you heard of a war? There is a blue guy named Marnius Calgar and his ultramarine land raider, Robert Galliman. Ultramarine land raider. But, bitch, I know about it with a 16 for one degree of success. Hell, yeah. I knew about the Indominus Crusade because I was fucking working with the Inquisition, dude. [2:33:10] That's right. You know what those marines are. This might be a moment where you wanna maybe tell your companions. [2:33:22] Uh... I don't... You're a pro-woman. I don't know if I should call you brothers or sirs. Guys, these are... I don't know how to phrase this. These are the next generation of Astartes. What? What? Oh. What do you mean, Nyx? Robo-Gilliman is leading a crusade with new space marines. What? These are the latest model. They are just better in every way. I can't believe they finally made Space Marine 2. [2:33:56] Yeah, Matthael just, like, blinks incredulously. I put my hand on Evgeny's shoulder. Not to be a pedant, but it is actually pronounced Robute. [2:34:11] Robot. My bad. That's okay. Robo-Girlyman. Anyway, what the hell are you talking about? Better in every way. [2:34:21] Thurston, at this point, how much knowledge do I know about... [2:34:26] Like, what was... The Emperor's son returned, started a crusade, and he brought with him the gift of better space marines. Cool. That is what you know. The Emperor's son, Robote Gilliman, returned from death, or stasis, whatever you want to call it, and is leading a crusade to retake worlds of the Imperium, besieged by the ruinous powers, lading cohorts of new, better space... That is not possible. I have fought thousands of Gilliman's sons. [2:35:06] Better? How do you mean better? And what do you mean, Robote Gilliman? Wait, actually, do we know that Gilliman's back alive? No. No, he would have been, like, dead. Or effectively dead. What the... You would have enough information from your knowledge to know that he was defeated by Fulgrim at some point. What do you mean? I mean, Gilliman is back alive. He's been in a stasis crypt on Macrag. [2:35:37] What? I know, I was there. Yes, and he's back alive. Are you kidding me? No, I'm not kidding you. That's what I'm telling you, you moron. He's alive and leading the crusade. I walk up to the nearest servitor, and I rip his head off. Oh, joy of joys. You hear Josephus clapping his metal palms. Ah, life truly is the most indomitable thing about us, isn't it? Not now! [2:36:08] I was going to give... Life was going to give Byzantine shit, but then I had to remember, oh, right, my Primarch got his ass whooped. [2:36:18] Yeah, yeah, our Primarchs weren't necessarily in a great spot. Mine's the most bullied. [2:36:26] It's like the nerdy is. Like, the last time I saw you, I saw my dad, his head exploded. Exactly! My Primarch got his ass beat by a talking box. Yeah. He got whooped by Vulcan twice in the same week. And by Bjorn. [2:36:48] And now your dad is getting his ass kicked by another, that's another Space Marine's Primarch. Again. Yeah. Is that the only person who had not yet resurfaced? Man, why do we suck? Because we're NPCs. Everybody else is getting their ass kicked. I do want to point out that one of the first, like, Warhammer TV Twitch streams for the new edition of Warhammer was like, oh, man, and here's Magnus. [2:37:19] It's the first time Magnus is ever going to hit the table. First time a Primarch is ever going to hit the table. It was ages ago. And then it's like, oh, he's going to fight Space Wolves. Hell! Hell yeah. And then the Space Wolves had their weird fucking flyer with that ice cannon. The first fucking shot of that game was like, whoo, hits Magnus. And the fucking gun was like, and if you're hit and take a wound by this, make an initiative test. [2:37:43] And if you fail, you just fucking die. And so the guy who's got Magnus is like, okay, well, I'll make the initiative. Oh, Magnus is dead. And, like, everyone was like, yeah, Primarchs sure matter now. Magnus the dead. [2:37:58] Look at this. Look at this. Look at this dead body I found. It's me. I'm a dead body. [2:38:07] Gee, guys, that's a real big dead body. Yeah. Oops. That looks like an important corpse. And now we have to keep doing this battle report for the next two hours and try to keep selling how good Magnus is. It's okay. He got better later and terrorized the later editions. Can you imagine? That's true. Can you imagine being that player who, like, with all the marketing and social? [2:38:35] Sorry. Okay. I'm bringing it over there. No, you're good. You're good. With all the marketing and stuff. Because being in those positions, I know exactly how that fucking conversation went after to where the guy was just playing, going, like, it would be really fucking funny if I killed Magnus right now. But the chances of it happening are low. We just got to make this realistic. Oh, fuck. [2:38:55] I just killed the marketing today. And marketing gets a bit of meat and going, hey, man, what was your fucking problem? If I recall correctly, the marketing guy who is live casting it no longer is at GW and does his own show called The Honest Wargamer. You should go to him. It's awesome. [2:39:18] And honestly, Magnus is dead. Get fucked. All right. So now that we're getting back into it. Daddy issues. Carry on. Yeah. Bethael looks absolutely incredulous at this. Like, for once in his life, he is feeling an immense amount of sympathy with Byzante in the feeling of what the fuck? Is this allowed? This is not allowed. This shouldn't be. This is seriously. Evolution is beautiful. You hit me with that Nurgle hippie shit. [2:39:56] I'm throwing you out the airlock. Evolution. Not beautiful. Beautiful in a way in of itself. You could be that someday, perhaps. What do you mean? You could be killed by that. Isn't that beautiful? No, you freak. [2:40:12] It's embarrassing. Seems like someone doesn't appreciate death. I was present for one Primarch fight my entire life. I didn't get to be anywhere cool during the heresy. I didn't get to do any. I wasn't there. But I was there for that. I mean, you did get a psychosis on Terra. So you were in Terra. That's a pretty. You get a lot of clout by being at Terra. [2:40:33] Yeah, I get the clout for being at Terra, all right. But I guess you can't tell anyone you were in Terra now. Yeah, I can't. Well, you know, but I was there. I saw Fulgrim lay low, Rebute Gilemon. I've been coasting off of that high for about 5,000 years. We can't do fucking shit. And now we have the opportunity. Go ahead. To take a look at the next generation. [2:41:08] And they will either cast us aside or we will cast them aside. Is that not beautiful? [2:41:19] What a load of bullshit. I'm going to the Thunderhawk. [2:41:25] Lyphos. Tatria speaks. Do you think that would be wise? No, I suppose not. [2:41:34] All right. What is our alternative? Run. First to flee and live. [2:41:42] For now, I believe we must do everything we can to preserve our ship and get our new acquaintances on board. I think we all should assimilate ourselves in the right positions so that we can help to erect and try to save what we can. And for those of us of void ship knowledge, we should probably start sending some alerts down the line. The crew, for boarding, and to get shot at. [2:42:15] We must do everything we can, shut down corridors, make sure this place turns into a maze for our boarders, so to buy as much time to leave, or if we do survive and do warp out of here, we will still have boarders, we will still have enemies on our ship, and we're going to need to make every advantage possible against these. [2:42:42] Now, if you don't mind to end your squabbling, start preparing. And Leifo's immediately gonna go to his servitor and basically start commanding it to go like, Star Trek-wise, red alert everything. Battle stations, start shutting things down. He's like, lock it down, but make sure everyone, everyone who's loading in is as that. As he's ordering that on, he looks to Cephas and goes, Cephas, if you could orchestrate with the newcomers in to get some of our current trained troops to organize them into some militia, I believe those of that combat capability in mass will be able to prepare them for the worst. [2:43:32] Easily done. Thank you. Byzantium, are you done complaining? You are not my commander. You couldn't command your way out of a tin can, Skull Boy. Then go be useful away from me. I'm literally not gonna do that. Instead, I'm going to... [2:43:54] I'm getting looks up at Byzantium, like with desperation in his eyes. Byzantium, you know how to work the Vox, you know, understand this void ship, yes? Correct. You are the only one who can hail the appropriate floors, the decks, to ready them for the assault. This is your hour. This is your concert. [2:44:20] Evgeny, have I ever told you how much I like you? Yes, you have, sir. Well then, great. Nothing needs to be said. I'm going to grab onto the Vox. Attention, all true Astartes, heretics, and ne'er-do-wells. We are soon to encounter a boarding action from our failures that we've cast off in the past. Those miscreants and fools that call themselves Loyalist Astartes. I want all floors prepared for battle. [2:45:00] I want every space marine that cares to shed blood to be prepared. I want order and efficiency insofar as you miscreants can manage. And most of all, I want victory. Whoever wants to seize it with me to your stations. And I'd like to make a command roll. Yeah, please do. Don't we have only like three space marines at besides us on the ship? Yeah. [2:45:38] That is a 23 for four degrees of success. [2:45:49] Valthor Drask looks up from the apothecarian and then Lur'Kholen, the Imperial Fist, begins to stalk down the halls, shield the ready. [2:46:05] And that is where we will call today's episode. Yippee! Yippee! [2:46:15] Thank you all so very much for watching this episode of A Chaos Odyssey. If you really liked it, please let people know that we exist. Help us out over at NarrativeDeclaration.com to support all the players, artists, and everything else that we do to keep everything going.
