Speaker 1: And Arab and Israeli officials convince you to not strike Iran.
• 0:06
  Speaker 2: Nobody convinced myself.
• 0:08
Speaker 3: You had yesterday's scheduled over eight hundred hangings, they didn't
• 0:12
Speaker 3: hang anyone. They canceled the hangings that had a big impact.
• 0:16
Speaker 4: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
• 0:19
  Speaker 2: Good Monday morning.
• 0:20
Speaker 3: It's nice to have you with us on the forty
• 0:23
Speaker 3: seven Morning Update, and we've got two big stories for you.
• 0:26
Speaker 3: Iran's president now blaming the US for his nation's crisis.
• 0:31
Speaker 2: Threatening it all out war.
• 0:33
Speaker 3: President Trump has responded, and we'll have what he had
• 0:36
Speaker 3: to say in just a moment. Also, anarchy in Minnesota.
• 0:41
Speaker 3: ICE agents continue to be under attack, and now the
• 0:44
Speaker 3: White House is looking at the real possibility of sending
• 0:47
Speaker 3: the National Guard in to Minnesota. It's the forty seven
• 0:51
Speaker 3: Morning Update and it starts right now.
• 0:53
Speaker 4: Story number one, Iran's.
• 0:55
Speaker 3: President is now blaming the United States for irans crisis,
• 1:01
Speaker 3: accusing Washington of imposing what he described as inhumane sanctions,
• 1:06
Speaker 3: while warning than any challenge to the Supreme leader there
• 1:10
Speaker 3: the Iatola would amount to quote an all out war
• 1:14
Speaker 3: against the Iranian nation. Now they've already declared war on
• 1:17
Speaker 3: Donald Trump in the United States of America, even saying
• 1:20
Speaker 3: in the last several days that they are going to
• 1:22
  Speaker 3: kill Donald Trump.
• 1:24
Speaker 2: Here's what was said in their response.
• 1:27
Speaker 3: Quote if there is hardship and difficulties in the lives
• 1:31
Speaker 3: of the people of Iran, one of the main reasons
• 1:34
Speaker 3: is the long standing enemy and inhumane sanctions imposed by
• 1:38
Speaker 3: the US government and its allies, and saying, quote, an
• 1:43
Speaker 3: assault on our supreme leader is tend them to an
• 1:46
Speaker 3: all out war with the Iranian nation. Got to be clear,
• 1:50
Speaker 3: this is government propaganda. They're trying to hold it together
• 1:54
Speaker 3: right now, and they've been killing more of the protesters.
• 1:59
Speaker 3: They're trying to convince the people in Iran that the
• 2:01
Speaker 3: Great Satan, you know, the United States of America is
• 2:04
  Speaker 3: really to blame.
• 2:05
  Speaker 2: Now.
• 2:06
Speaker 3: This is also coming as we have movement from our
• 2:09
Speaker 3: government sanctions that are coming.
• 2:12
Speaker 2: Down on Iran's regime.
• 2:15
Speaker 3: The Treasury Secretary putting it this way, saying we are
• 2:18
Speaker 3: not only going after the leadership, but we are targeting
• 2:22
Speaker 3: Iran's oil revenue stream. The Treasury Secretary putting out this
• 2:27
Speaker 3: on social media, making it clear that there is more
• 2:31
Speaker 3: to come from this administration to protect the people in Iran.
• 2:35
Speaker 1: President Trump has been clear Iran must stop sponsoring terror,
• 2:40
Speaker 1: halts its bloody proxy wars, and cease its pursuit of
• 2:44
Speaker 1: nuclear weapons. That is why Treasury is taking further action
• 2:48
Speaker 1: to degrade the Ayatola and his regime's ability to finance
• 2:53
Speaker 1: terrorism around the world, including its growing influence in Iraq.
• 2:58
Speaker 1: Treasury is sanctioning a rogue businessman and his network of
• 3:03
Speaker 1: companies and vessels that smuggle Iranian oil disguised as Iraqi
• 3:08
Speaker 1: oil to avoid US sanctions. This network generates over three
• 3:13
Speaker 1: hundred million annually for Tehran. Smuggling of this nature allows
• 3:18
Speaker 1: Iranian oil to be sold to US allies and possibly
• 3:22
Speaker 1: to the United States itself in violation of US sanctions.
• 3:26
Speaker 1: The United States will apply economic pressure to the maximum
• 3:30
Speaker 1: extent possible to disrupt Iran's access to the financial resources
• 3:35
Speaker 1: that fuel its destabilizing activities. Since President Trump retook office,
• 3:41
Speaker 1: we have implemented a maximum pressure campaign. In just seven months,
• 3:46
Speaker 1: we have seen a significant decline in oil carried by
• 3:49
Speaker 1: the Shadow Fleet vessels we have sanctioned, reduced Tehran's profit
• 3:54
Speaker 1: margin and made it increasingly difficult for the regime to
• 3:58
Speaker 1: export oil. The United States remains committed to an oil
• 4:03
Speaker 1: supply free from Iran's destabilizing influence. We will continue to
• 4:09
Speaker 1: take action against those who help fund its global campaign
• 4:13
  Speaker 1: of terror.
• 4:14
Speaker 3: Now what we also know as a Treasury secretary says
• 4:17
Speaker 3: that there are countless dollars coming out of Iran, saying
• 4:22
Speaker 3: this on Newsmax about exactly how we're tracking the money.
• 4:26
Speaker 1: Gonna see to that and rob The other thing as Treasury,
• 4:30
Speaker 1: who carries out the sanctions, we can see is we
• 4:33
Speaker 1: are now seeing the rats fleeing the ship because we
• 4:35
Speaker 1: can see millions, tens of millions of dollars being wired
• 4:39
Speaker 1: out of the country, snuck out of the country by
• 4:42
Speaker 1: the Iranian leadership. So they are abandoning ship and we
• 4:46
Speaker 1: are seeing it come into banks and financial institutions all
• 4:51
Speaker 1: over the world. And what we do with Treasury is
• 4:53
Speaker 1: we follow the money, whether it is through the typical
• 4:57
Speaker 1: banking system or through digital assets. We are going to
• 5:01
Speaker 1: trace these assets and they will not be able to
• 5:03
Speaker 1: keep you'll freeze those.
• 5:05
Speaker 3: So the sanctions are real. The money flowing out of
• 5:09
Speaker 3: Iran is real. Why would they be telling this story
• 5:13
Speaker 3: to inspire the people of Iran so that they hear
• 5:16
Speaker 3: about it. They know that the Iranian regime is collapsing,
• 5:20
Speaker 3: they know that they're afraid. They know that they're wiring
• 5:23
Speaker 3: the money out of their country by the tens of
• 5:26
Speaker 3: millions of dollars, and US sanctions are helping to cripple
• 5:31
Speaker 3: Iranian leadership and their economy, which allows for more protests
• 5:36
Speaker 3: to probably happen. This is we're also watching every bit
• 5:41
Speaker 3: of their oil and the oil that's coming out of
• 5:43
Speaker 3: that country, tracking it and trying.
• 5:46
Speaker 2: To seize it as well.
• 5:48
Speaker 3: So, yes, President Trump is all in targeting I RAN's
• 5:52
Speaker 3: oil revenue stream, and the Treasury Secretary is saying, we're
• 5:55
Speaker 3: going to degrade the regime's ability to carry out attacks
• 5:58
Speaker 3: against the United States of America and its allies. How
• 6:02
Speaker 3: by simply doing the sanctions. It truly is amazing what
• 6:07
Speaker 3: a real leader can do to topple a regime like
• 6:12
Speaker 3: Iran and to help the people in that nation. Now,
• 6:16
Speaker 3: anything can happen, let's be clear, But right now one
• 6:19
Speaker 3: thing is very clear, and that's Donald Trump is not
• 6:22
Speaker 3: backing down. Instead, he's actually doubling down to support the
• 6:27
Speaker 3: people that are risking their lives in the streets all
• 6:30
Speaker 3: over the nation of Iran.
• 6:32
Speaker 4: Now story number two, We now have word.
• 6:34
Speaker 3: The Department of Justice is investigating the Minnesota governor as
• 6:39
Speaker 3: well as the Minnesota Minneapolis mayor, who decry the probe
• 6:43
Speaker 3: as what they describe as an intimidation tactic. Now, what's
• 6:48
Speaker 3: funny about all this, it's Democrats that actually are the
• 6:51
Speaker 3: masters of this plan, if that's actually what it was.
• 6:55
Speaker 3: Remember how they weaponize our government to go after Donald
• 6:58
Speaker 3: Trump and anyone around him, trying to lock him up
• 7:02
Speaker 3: and try to overthrow the will of the people. Now,
• 7:04
Speaker 3: the difference with the DOJ investigation now is people have
• 7:08
Speaker 3: already gone to jail, and a governor has already decided
• 7:12
Speaker 3: not to run for reelection because of actual fraud and
• 7:15
Speaker 3: abuse of power and millions and millions of dollars that
• 7:19
Speaker 3: then turn into billions of dollars that we're stolen from
• 7:23
Speaker 3: the taxpayers. And where did the money go, much of
• 7:26
Speaker 3: it overseas, including to terrorist organization Al Shabab. That is
• 7:31
Speaker 3: not a Donald Trump intimidation tactic to go after quote
• 7:36
Speaker 3: political enemies. Instead, what we're witnessing right now is a
• 7:40
Speaker 3: Department of Justice that is doing their job. Now, there's
• 7:44
Speaker 3: no doubt the Democrats are going to try to spend
• 7:47
Speaker 3: this any way they can, saying that they did nothing wrong.
• 7:50
Speaker 3: It's just a you know, intimidation tactic. Well, let's talk
• 7:55
Speaker 3: about the background of this. We now know confirmation coming
• 7:59
Speaker 3: from the Justice Department that they are in fact investigating
• 8:03
Speaker 3: Governor Waltz and Minnesota Minneapolis Mayor Jacob fry over what
• 8:09
Speaker 3: is being described is a possible obstruction of federal law enforcement,
• 8:15
Speaker 3: and a person familiar with the matter has come out
• 8:18
Speaker 3: and even said to CNN that the grand jury subpoena
• 8:22
Speaker 3: had been issued for both men as part of the investigation.
• 8:27
Speaker 3: Neither office had received any notice as of Friday evening,
• 8:30
Speaker 3: according to sources familiar with the matter, and it's not
• 8:33
Speaker 3: immediately clear when Frye or Waltz would receive those subpoenas.
• 8:38
Speaker 3: The Justice Department, of course, declined to comment.
• 8:41
  Speaker 2: Now.
• 8:41
Speaker 3: President Trump and his administration have been critical of any
• 8:45
Speaker 3: elected official that is on abusing power in this way.
• 8:48
Speaker 3: They've been critical of state and local officials and the
• 8:51
Speaker 3: response as well to what happened in Minnesota, including the
• 8:55
Speaker 3: unrest over the presence of immigration and custom enforcement agents
• 8:59
Speaker 3: that have all have been attacked. The President suggesting that
• 9:02
Speaker 3: he might invoke the insurrection Act and deployed troops to
• 9:06
Speaker 3: the city to quell any violence. Of course, that is
• 9:09
Speaker 3: setting off the left like never before. We also know
• 9:14
Speaker 3: that Elamo mar is now calling America the us GD
• 9:18
Speaker 3: states it's not a joke, it's actually happening, and Chris
• 9:23
Speaker 3: van Holland defending now the violent writers attacking ICE agents
• 9:28
Speaker 3: as more Democrats are demanding that we abolish ICE agents.
• 9:34
Speaker 3: That is truly shocking. I want you to listen to
• 9:38
Speaker 3: exactly what he had to say in his own words
• 9:40
Speaker 3: on ABC this week.
• 9:42
Speaker 5: What's happening right now is the ICE agents are the
• 9:45
Speaker 5: ones breaking the law, not the peaceful protesters. So I
• 9:50
Speaker 5: believe we should not be funding an ICE operation that
• 9:53
  Speaker 5: is completely wawless.
• 9:56
Speaker 3: There it is democrats on national TV now call for
• 10:00
Speaker 3: defunding ICE. Mayor Jacob Fry continue to stand by his
• 10:05
Speaker 3: violent comments telling ICE agents to get the f out
• 10:09
Speaker 3: of Minneapolis, ABC saying, quote, do you regret that language?
• 10:13
Speaker 3: That doesn't sound like turning the temperature down? I want
• 10:17
Speaker 3: you to listen to this exchange again, the radicals on
• 10:20
Speaker 3: the left showing their true colors.
• 10:22
Speaker 6: You went on national television and you said to Ice,
• 10:26
Speaker 6: get the f out of Minneapolis. Do wegret that language.
• 10:31
Speaker 6: I mean, that doesn't sound like a turning the temperature down.
• 10:34
Speaker 7: I don't regret it at all.
• 10:36
Speaker 3: Not only do they not regret it, but it's all
• 10:38
Speaker 3: clearly planned out now as ICE agents are being attacked
• 10:42
Speaker 3: by violent rioters in Minneapolis. The mayor also had this
• 10:47
Speaker 3: to say, trying to rewrite history about what actually is
• 10:50
  Speaker 3: happening there.
• 10:52
Speaker 7: You know, I think it's important to tell the whole
• 10:54
Speaker 7: country that this is not just about resistance here in Minneapolis,
• 10:59
Speaker 7: it's about love. We are showing something far more powerful
• 11:03
Speaker 7: and consequential here, which is love. We are standing up
• 11:08
Speaker 7: for one another. You've got neighbors helping neighbors. You've got
• 11:12
Speaker 7: people uniting and coming together in this beautiful way. And
• 11:17
Speaker 7: obviously we've got these threats out there from the federal
• 11:20
Speaker 7: government that were literally designed to intimidate Minneapolis residents, to
• 11:26
  Speaker 7: intimidate me.
• 11:27
Speaker 3: So there it is abolish ice and go to war.
• 11:31
Speaker 3: You have a governor that's referred to having a civil war.
• 11:36
Speaker 3: They want dead ICE agents. The New York Times also
• 11:40
Speaker 3: talking about abolishing ICE has become a slogan for many
• 11:44
Speaker 3: Democrats who now say, if elected or if they gain power,
• 11:49
Speaker 3: they want to abolish ICE all together.
• 11:52
  Speaker 2: And Democrats not.
• 11:53
Speaker 3: Only say abolish ICE, but they want to lock up
• 11:56
Speaker 3: the agents and charge them with crimes. We also know
• 12:01
Speaker 3: that ICE agents had to shoot a Venezuelan national in
• 12:04
Speaker 3: Minneapolis after a shovel attack during an ambush.
• 12:09
Speaker 2: So let me get this straight.
• 12:11
Speaker 3: Democrats now believe ICE agents should be arrested, they should
• 12:14
Speaker 3: be defunded, and when they're under attack by a Venezuelan
• 12:18
Speaker 3: national with a shovel and then more illegal immigrants join
• 12:22
Speaker 3: in on that attack, they want to arrest the ICE agent,
• 12:26
Speaker 3: not the illegal immigrant.
• 12:28
Speaker 2: We also know that ICE.
• 12:29
Speaker 3: Arrests in Minnesota have surged, including numerous convicted child rapists
• 12:35
Speaker 3: and killers. That is something that the mayor and the
• 12:39
Speaker 3: governor and the media do not want you to know.
• 12:43
Speaker 3: Thank goodness. Fox News Channel had this headline, ICE arrests
• 12:47
Speaker 3: in Minnesota surging, including numerous convicted child rapists and killers.
• 12:52
Speaker 3: Criminal legal immigrants had deportation orders dating back decades. ICE
• 12:59
Speaker 3: officials on set Saturday releasing a shocking list of the
• 13:02
Speaker 3: worst of the worst criminals, the worst of the worst
• 13:05
Speaker 3: illegal immigrants arrested during the recent surge in the sanctuary
• 13:09
Speaker 3: state of Minnesota. ICE told Fox News criminal legal immigrants
• 13:14
Speaker 3: were roaming freely in Minnesota prior to their recent arrests,
• 13:17
Speaker 3: and they have the type of people democratic politicians and
• 13:20
Speaker 3: activists are referring to as their quote unquote neighbors as
• 13:25
Speaker 3: they attempt to stop and interfere with ICE and their
• 13:28
Speaker 3: investigations quote. Regardless of stage political theatrics, ICE is going
• 13:34
Speaker 3: to continue to arrest the worst of the worst criminal
• 13:36
Speaker 3: legal aliens in Minnesota and elsewhere. That's what the ICE
• 13:39
Speaker 3: director Todd Lyons wrote in a statement. Some of these
• 13:42
Speaker 3: criminal aliens have had final orders of removal for thirty years,
• 13:47
Speaker 3: but they've been free to terrorize the people of Minnesota.
• 13:51
Speaker 3: ICE arrests prevent recidivism and make communities safer, but it
• 13:55
Speaker 3: feels like local politicians want to ignore that part and
• 14:00
Speaker 3: they want to attack American citizens. The White House pre
• 14:03
Speaker 3: Secretary Caroline Levitt saying this calling the convict sick people,
• 14:08
Speaker 3: saying this is why we have ICE agents. May God
• 14:11
Speaker 3: bless them for their thankless work to protect American communities
• 14:16
Speaker 3: from these sick people. So there you have it, two
• 14:19
Speaker 3: different stories. One's very clear law and order is back
• 14:24
Speaker 3: in town, and the presence doing everything he can to
• 14:27
Speaker 3: not only protect Americans from these criminals that are legal
• 14:31
Speaker 3: immigrants terrorizing our communities, but also now investigating those that
• 14:35
Speaker 3: are aiding and abetting them. That is exactly why there's
• 14:38
Speaker 3: a real investigation and whether Democrats like it or not,
• 14:42
Speaker 3: Donald Trump and conservatives are actually following the laws.
