  [SPEAKER_00]: Now for Friday with game status, Durham, Smith, of course, earlier this week.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Move to IR, replaced by Nick Vanette at Titan.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I expect Vanette to be active for this game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But there are three players already listed as out.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That include Lamar Jackson, out with an ankle injury, DNPL-3 practices this week.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He could possibly have been made QB-3 since Ravens are going to go with two quarterbacks only.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But I think that would have had other questions raised about his fitness to play.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And of course, I don't think the Ravens or Lamar want any kind of desire to play issues out there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: just label it that way and move on with two quarterbacks.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's almost certain that he'll see action in this game again after he had his first sack against the titans.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He left the game late in the first half, was replaced by hadn't played well, but then he was replaced by Emery Jones, who immediately gave up a sack on which Jackson was hurt, as well as had some other negative events on that first drive.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then the second half he actually played pretty well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Emery Jones didn't have a negative event in the second half, so a questionable whether it

  [SPEAKER_00]: Or he's assuming he plays or Jones would be the starter in this game versus the Falcons on Sunday night

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's questionable, but he's likely to be active.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I would say given the very thin offensive line.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So the reason that they might not make him active is that they want a truly healthy body as the eighth offensive lineman and they have had one game this year where they already went to the eighth player.

  [SPEAKER_00]: an extra healthy body and give Andrew a chance to rest for a week.

  [SPEAKER_00]: On the report, but no game status, have several players here, the first is Mark Andrews, he was actually full at practice all week at a hand injury that was had him on the report last week for some reason they felt the need to put him on the report this week.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Theo on a cart in the real game so we saw that happen.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It was right in front of us and actually was a little scared of what that might mean, but but apparently just a handshake not not a lower body injury despite the fact that cart was used and it has not really been a problem since he played this last week and had five targets in the game including a touchdown catch.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Rashad Bateman limited full full and three weeks that he was one of the scary additions to the injury report this week with a shoulder injury, but he appears to be okay.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's not listed with any sort of game status as they said and he'll be relied on heavily.

  [SPEAKER_00]: probably in this game as a target for Huntley, for a lot of reasons, he's a better match for Huntley's play style because he's a good route runner, turn and fight the football kind of guy and a lot of Huntley's passes are

  [SPEAKER_00]: times where the ball really has to be schemeed out of his hand quickly.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So it doesn't have time for some of the extended play work that Lamar Jackson does, or you know, to really see that route to develop.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He needs to throw it, you know, as the receivers hitting the top of the stem and with the understanding of of where he's going and Rashad Baton is the Raven's best at doing that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Clay's Campbell practice on Thursday, only he had rest on Wednesday and Friday, which is an odd, you know, rest sandwich around a single practice, but I'm sure he wants to play down in Atlanta.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There are things that come up, I think believe that's where he's from, he played there last year in any case.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And so Campbell expected certainly to play has no game status.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think because of the special teams need, regardless of what whether they decided that Serat or was a go or not or even flowers, I think more is certainly part of their plan for this week.

  [SPEAKER_00]: John Simpson was limited limited and full this week with a groin injury now.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He'd been, I believe he practiced full either last day or the last two days of last week, so fairly similar schedule.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But you know, if he played last week, you know, I kind of expected to play again again.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The rivets are very thin on the offensive line.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They need a big physical presence and

  [SPEAKER_00]: The list of ailments is now rest slash to slash ankle and he has no game status however so I would expect him to start the game at left tackle and Carson Vincent to be the back up so it is important every offensive lineman that can dress I'm sure they really want to be there we'll take a break and we'll be right back with some implications.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now, I mentioned we're going to talk about some of the implications of the injuries they do have.

  [SPEAKER_00]: First of all, Hendrickson being inactive is a pretty clear one for one exchange.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Burke will be active, which he was anyway before for his special team's value.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But he'll certainly get some staffs on defense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Ravens had the opportunity to try out some new past-rush looks.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Burke had a sack against the Titans that was on a stunt.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And that's some of the ways I'm going to want to try and get after the Falcons is with some free run opportunities.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So I think they also want to have his kick blocking presence as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Mike Green will be over on the rush side I expect.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Jake Matthews may or may not play this game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's got a long consecutive start streak.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That would be I think a very good thing for the Ravens Matthews.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But Mike Green, you know, against a backup left tackle.

  [SPEAKER_00]: People you play against Dan Moore this last week who's not a backup is you know a 20 million dollar.

  [SPEAKER_00]: left-ackled, but he's a guy that green really used to pretty effectively in that game inside we and outside win, bull rush win, et cetera.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So hopefully my green continues his breakout with this fifth game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Travis Jones and possibly Nadine B to Matabike may return to an inside pairing.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They still use Campbell and Matabike together a lot on third down this last week, so maybe Jones and Matabike is not the Batman and Robin pairing that we've been used to.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But Jones is a hell of a past russure and provides a lot to that group.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I would like to see him in there at least on some of those obvious passing situations.

  [SPEAKER_00]: On the offensive line it's a pretty easy problem here.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The ravens have trouble getting to eight healthy offensive linemen.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So they've standly.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They have Simpson.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If you'll want a Voorhees Rosengarten Jones Vincent

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then it becomes a question as to who they have for that eats spot.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So they have Chuma Adoga would be one possibility that they could bring up.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They could have licked in hand up again as another backup tackle as a possibility.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But they've got to find a way to get that eighth.

  [SPEAKER_00]: offensive lineman active and and they really need all their guys to be active.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, if if they don't if for he's for example of Simpson, maybe more serious they weren't able to play, then they'd have to have both say doga and lick the hand elevated not with limit actually their options at other positions.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They also do have Kyle Hurgel, who's a Pride would say is a probable activation for this week.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So he's probably ahead of a doga in terms of who would be first off the bench and then it's hard to say whether it would be a doga or a licked in a hand in the event they lost a second lineman here.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The team also could activate Gillary from the practice squad.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There are problems with that because if they want to use that spot on a cornerback, which I think would be reasonable and outside corner, then they really can't do that, but it could otherwise be Gillary who has been waiting for a while and would not be a bad choice at all to.

  [SPEAKER_00]: to use as a receiver and help the running game with this blocking is a big physical receiver.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, if I'm going to go through the projected and active switch, I'll do quickly here QB Lamar Jackson and no attempt again to make him QB 3, I think it's probably a smart decision from an optics perspective.

  [SPEAKER_00]: defensive tackle and he has pebbles almost certainly be out again given the fact they have five other linemen they could at some point decide they want to go with six if they were really short on healthy bodies but um right now they kind of need a call up for every unhealthy they have so they can't really afford to have uh

  [SPEAKER_00]: Senator Kim, Jurgen's outside lineback or trade Hendrickson, and I would guess that safety cave on Wallace is going to be back to inactive.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's really a question of they have room for one more defensive back.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So I think it makes sense to get a warrior up, given a hump freeze injury status right now.

  [SPEAKER_00]: As opposed to having Wallace as the fifth safety, he certainly has some value as a special team player and whatnot, but I just think that it makes more sense, and then Tuma Adoga, if Bore he's cannot go, so that would give them two more to 55 and then minus five down to 48, they don't have a third quarterback so they can't get to the 49.
