- 0:35Speaker 6: Crave Worthy street Food freshly made with Rippy Burgeer.
- 0:42Speaker 5: You good stuff, Hi Mogie, you absolutely stallion of a
- 0:47Speaker 5: manhouse life.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Go Britty Grousie, your mad dog, your sex son of
- 0:51Speaker 3: a be. I don't know about a gloomy Thursday afternoon.
- 0:54Speaker 3: This is the most beautiful day Wellington's head in four years.
- 0:58Speaker 7: They're absolutely loving it here.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Of course, we're at the beautiful Bethel Woods enjoying this.
- 1:04Speaker 3: And if you're down here you'd see everyone's in singlets
- 1:07Speaker 3: and shorts because they are sweating balls.
- 1:09Speaker 4: Yeah mate, backbones down here in Wellington.
- 1:12Speaker 5: That was actually true because we got off the plane
- 1:13Speaker 5: our thinking here we go is going to be a
- 1:16Speaker 5: river day.
- 1:17Speaker 4: Thing, and well but it was beautiful. It was farmy
- 1:19Speaker 4: I was sweating Keezy.
- 1:22Speaker 6: Hey, guys, it's just that usually you go keyzy.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, Keyzy, how are you man?
- 1:28Speaker 6: Key Oh, you've got your prison jacket on. So I'm
- 1:32Speaker 6: just sitting here waiting. I'm great. I'm a bit worried
- 1:35Speaker 6: because Mogi is targeting today, you know what I mean,
- 1:38Speaker 6: because he's off the wagon. He's on the wagon. He's
- 1:40Speaker 6: off the wagon right now because it's free beers. He's
- 1:42Speaker 6: very much off the wagon, and he's kind of latching
- 1:45Speaker 6: on to me and saying, hey, Kezy, let's do this
- 1:48Speaker 6: thing today.
- 1:48Speaker 3: You know what, Well is an absolute animal, as everybody knows,
- 1:51Speaker 3: and he doesn't take much persuading to get a beer
- 1:53Speaker 3: down his gallot. So I sort of thought, if you
- 1:56Speaker 3: take me under your shoulder, Keysy, show me how it's done.
- 1:59Speaker 3: I think this is going to get off the rails
- 2:00Speaker 3: pretty quick. So if you're listening at the Oudea Summer
- 2:04Speaker 3: in Willington, you can get yourself down to the terrorist
- 2:06Speaker 3: down to Bethel Woods.
- 2:07Speaker 7: Get along here quick quick.
- 2:09Speaker 5: I will say this fellas our great news, the goat
- 2:12Speaker 5: the greatest of all time is still running today even
- 2:15Speaker 5: though we're doing a live show.
- 2:17Speaker 4: Feelers.
- 2:17Speaker 6: Isn't that amazing.
- 2:18Speaker 5: It is so amazing ca see. In fact, should we
- 2:20Speaker 5: get back into it now?
- 2:22Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 2:22Speaker 6: Sure, man, I think we're up to song number five
- 2:24Speaker 6: hundred and thirteen. You guys are ready, Yeah, it's still, gentlemen.
- 2:29Speaker 5: This is big good Democracy matterfest.
- 2:33Speaker 2: It's like democracy but with better music. On Radio Hiarchy
- 2:38Speaker 2: number five hundred and thirteen Arcade Fire No Cargo.
- 2:42Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Horaky is.
- 2:47Speaker 5: Indeed Lincoln Party coming in at five hundred and twelve
- 2:51Speaker 5: on the Goat Countdown.
- 2:52Speaker 4: You're listening to the Big Show incidentally, live from.
- 2:55Speaker 5: Bethel Woods and Beautiful Wellington and Fellas.
- 3:00Speaker 4: I actually feel very fortunate that.
- 3:02Speaker 5: We got down here today because there was there was
- 3:05Speaker 5: plenty of drama at the airport.
- 3:07Speaker 7: Yeah, there really was. I was. It was a bit
- 3:11Speaker 7: of it. I get up early.
- 3:12Speaker 3: I make sure I get to the airport as soon
- 3:14Speaker 3: as I possibly can in the morning to make sure
- 3:15Speaker 3: I make the fight. You ne even know what's going
- 3:17Speaker 3: to happen, Jason, Yeah, that's right. You get in there,
- 3:19Speaker 3: and then there was an absolutely cumongous Q trying to
- 3:23Speaker 3: get through the security area, and there was also a
- 3:26Speaker 3: substantial amount of people that were running late and we're
- 3:28Speaker 3: trying to.
- 3:28Speaker 7: Cut the line.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Yes, you know when people are cutting the line, you
- 3:31Speaker 3: know how I get. I get a bit punchy, especially
- 3:33Speaker 3: in the morning. And then we managed to finally get
- 3:37Speaker 3: ourselves on the plane. I was a bit worried that
- 3:39Speaker 3: Keyesy wasn't there, but of course he was bearing deep
- 3:41Speaker 3: inside the Cordoo loude.
- 3:42Speaker 7: Ain't your mate?
- 3:43Speaker 6: Well, I wasn't there.
- 3:44Speaker 7: I was at the front.
- 3:44Speaker 6: I was in seat number two A. I had a
- 3:47Speaker 6: window seat, was magnificent. Where were you, guys?
- 3:51Speaker 4: I was?
- 3:51Speaker 5: I think I was twenty six B actually sat next
- 3:55Speaker 5: to Mogi for the very first time.
- 3:56Speaker 4: I should actually say so.
- 3:57Speaker 5: Security was a nightmare to getting through security.
- 4:01Speaker 6: It genuinely was, because I was waiting for you, and
- 4:03Speaker 6: it took Jason about twenty minutes when it should have
- 4:05Speaker 6: taken about two. Yeah, what happened?
- 4:08Speaker 5: Oh well, there was about a thousand people waiting to
- 4:10Speaker 5: get through security basically.
- 4:11Speaker 6: But you also told me you couldn't put your socks
- 4:14Speaker 6: on or something.
- 4:14Speaker 5: I played golf with Kezy yesterday, and I've got to
- 4:17Speaker 5: be honest with you.
- 4:18Speaker 4: I woke up massively stiff this morning. Um, and this
- 4:23Speaker 4: is true, and.
- 4:25Speaker 5: You know when you go through, And because I knew
- 4:27Speaker 5: I was coming to Wellington, I put on some extra
- 4:29Speaker 5: thick socks.
- 4:30Speaker 4: Oh yeah, and that means that my boots are really really.
- 4:35Speaker 5: Tight at the moment, right, and when you get to security, right,
- 4:38Speaker 5: you've got to take your boots off. Now, remembering that
- 4:41Speaker 5: I played eighteen Holes with Keesy yesterday and I was
- 4:44Speaker 5: massively stiff. Stop saying that I genuinely struggled to take
- 4:50Speaker 5: my boots off.
- 4:50Speaker 3: You're also at an age aon't you, Jase, where your
- 4:53Speaker 3: feet have started to.
- 4:54Speaker 7: Swell in the morning.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Yes, yes, and my testicles. But so we got and
- 5:00Speaker 4: then the plane.
- 5:01Speaker 5: Was delayed by twenty minutes, so that there was that
- 5:03Speaker 5: drama and we finally got on the plane.
- 5:06Speaker 4: But that wasn't the end of the drama.
- 5:09Speaker 7: Mogi, No, it wasn't at all.
- 5:11Speaker 3: We got on there, everybody's seat that we're ready to
- 5:13Speaker 3: take off. Jason's in a who of a mood because
- 5:16Speaker 3: he's had to wait for twenty minutes because of the delay.
- 5:18Speaker 3: And then all of a sudden they came over on
- 5:19Speaker 3: the loud speaker there the intercom and they said, I'm
- 5:22Speaker 3: really sorry about this, everybody, but we're going to have
- 5:25Speaker 3: to evacuate the plane. Yeah, this was that, without a
- 5:28Speaker 3: word of a lie. So everybody had to get off
- 5:29Speaker 3: the plane. Incredibly, they had a spear plane that was
- 5:31Speaker 3: sitting right next door. Yes, so everybody got off, had
- 5:34Speaker 3: to go and get on another plane. But it took
- 5:36Speaker 3: us an hour another hour before we could leave.
- 5:39Speaker 5: Yeah, and we did actually find out in the end
- 5:42Speaker 5: why there was this sort of emergency evacuation. I don't
- 5:46Speaker 5: know if you're aware of this, but it was Kesey's
- 5:48Speaker 5: birthday yesterday.
- 5:50Speaker 6: Hey, thank you, Thank you, lovely people of Bethel Woods,
- 5:56Speaker 6: thank you. And and what what's that got to do
- 6:01Speaker 6: with about the airplane?
- 6:03Speaker 5: And his lovely wife and himself? They went to a
- 6:05Speaker 5: very flash What.
- 6:08Speaker 6: Has this got to do with the airplane?
- 6:09Speaker 4: Please KESI I'm just explaining.
- 6:12Speaker 5: They went to this very nice restaurant called the Fiery Taco.
- 6:19Speaker 4: And when I finally met up with Keysy and the
- 6:23Speaker 4: Codoo Lounge.
- 6:24Speaker 6: You could do it, brother, he.
- 6:27Speaker 5: Was complaining of just really severe stomach pains. And when
- 6:32Speaker 5: I got on the plane, I went to tryump because
- 6:34Speaker 5: I knew where Keysy was sitting to b I think
- 6:37Speaker 5: it was too and he wasn't there what I later
- 6:40Speaker 5: learned was that he was in the plane toilet and
- 6:45Speaker 5: he's simply making or getting rid of the remnants of
- 6:48Speaker 5: the fiery taco of the night before.
- 6:52Speaker 4: And he was in there for a good fifteen minutes.
- 6:55Speaker 5: Because I don't know, I don't know if you realize this, Mogi,
- 6:59Speaker 5: because we had to wait because they said you can
- 7:01Speaker 5: board the plane now, and then there was just wind.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Fifteen minutes a late, the had a few people through.
- 7:07Speaker 6: Wasn't it more like twenty It was.
- 7:09Speaker 4: About twenty minutes.
- 7:10Speaker 5: So yeah, it turns out that we had to evacuate
- 7:15Speaker 5: the plane because of a classic keasy midnight Well it
- 7:18Speaker 5: was a mid morning steamer.
- 7:20Speaker 7: Wasn't it.
- 7:20Speaker 3: It was, Yeah, absolutely laid waste to it. So everybody
- 7:23Speaker 3: had to get off the plane and take on it
- 7:25Speaker 3: your plane. That apparently they have mothboard that plane, keezy.
- 7:27Speaker 3: It can't ever be used again, really apparently.
- 7:31Speaker 6: So yeah, it's unbelievable.
- 7:34Speaker 5: It's like when you find dasbestos in a building, you
- 7:37Speaker 5: know what I mean.
- 7:38Speaker 6: I was far worse than they had the hazmat suits
- 7:41Speaker 6: on and everything. Hey, you just while we're on the topic,
- 7:43Speaker 6: quick shout out to be a banner. Oh, yeah, yeah,
- 7:47Speaker 6: having us down here loving.
- 7:48Speaker 4: That shout out right at this point of.
- 7:51Speaker 6: Course, that's on tomorrow and Saturday Henry Stadium in Wellington.
- 7:54Speaker 6: We've got a whole lot of double passes to give away.
- 7:56Speaker 6: So if you're in Wellington and you want to go
- 7:57Speaker 6: to be a banner, come on down to the woods.
- 8:00Speaker 6: And the reason we're actually down here is because the
- 8:02Speaker 6: lovely folks at Tatata put it on for us. They say,
- 8:05Speaker 6: we've got a great barfi to come and broadcast live from.
- 8:07Speaker 6: Here's a few free beers for Kezy and Moogi and
- 8:10Speaker 6: mostly Pugsan and so we're gonna have a great afternoon.
- 8:13Speaker 6: It's only just started, probably the last time Kezy Steamer
- 8:18Speaker 6: will be Nah, it'll be out a couple of more times.
- 8:21Speaker 6: And of course we've got the Goat countdown as well.
- 8:23Speaker 6: Should we crack back into it.
- 8:24Speaker 5: Ye week so number five hundred and eleven, it goes
- 8:27Speaker 5: on Radio Hdarky five hundred and eleven, Cake I will.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Survive the hold Aking Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Tune in week days and four on Radio Hdakey's.
- 8:39Speaker 5: Indeed coming in at five hundred and ten on the
- 8:41Speaker 5: Goat countdown, vire simple.
- 8:43Speaker 4: Are talking here?
- 8:44Speaker 5: Sorry Kesey just moved at the last second.
- 8:48Speaker 4: There. We're live from Bethel Woods down in Wellington. Uh.
- 8:52Speaker 5: If you're in the area, come on down and say
- 8:54Speaker 5: get eight of the foulers.
- 8:55Speaker 6: It's right, we're down here. Thanks, So mates, it to
- 8:57Speaker 6: a tarta of course, warming everyone up for beer which
- 9:00Speaker 6: is happening tomorrow and Saturday, and we have got double
- 9:03Speaker 6: passes to that glorious beer festival if you don't have
- 9:06Speaker 6: any yet, so make sure you come on down. And
- 9:08Speaker 6: also if you need to get in touch, either you're
- 9:10Speaker 6: listening nationally or you are one of the one hundred
- 9:13Speaker 6: people in this bar right now, three four eight three.
- 9:16Speaker 6: If you need to communicate anything to the Big show fellas,
- 9:19Speaker 6: it'd be much appreciated. But guys, it's time for this.
- 9:23Speaker 7: Come dine with the Feelings.
- 9:29Speaker 5: Yes, indeed, now you'll be aware if you're a longtime
- 9:31Speaker 5: listener of the show, that we've been running a bit
- 9:33Speaker 5: of a competition, haven't we, Fellas, Come dine with the
- 9:36Speaker 5: Fellas and old Mogi he kicked us off and he
- 9:40Speaker 5: was a slyde bastard, I've got to say, because he
- 9:44Speaker 5: did a magnificent hot pot.
- 9:47Speaker 4: Because he knows Old Hoidy j at the moment is.
- 9:50Speaker 5: Particularly susceptible to a good spicy hot pot.
- 9:55Speaker 3: It was absolute joy having you fellas and your partners
- 9:58Speaker 3: over to the house on a lazy Sunday afternoon. You're
- 10:01Speaker 3: only meant to be there for two hours. That sort
- 10:03Speaker 3: of kicked on for an extra few more after that.
- 10:06Speaker 3: But yeah, we just wanted to look after you, being
- 10:09Speaker 3: good host, serving you up the food you wanted, some
- 10:11Speaker 3: some wonderful music for old Keyesy over here, popped outside
- 10:17Speaker 3: and smoked some darts with pegs, and so we just
- 10:19Speaker 3: tried to look after everybody, you know.
- 10:20Speaker 5: Yeah, and I've got to say you set the bar
- 10:22Speaker 5: very high, Mogi. We even got to have a tour
- 10:27Speaker 5: of your stinkhole. Yes that's down just down the road
- 10:30Speaker 5: from you, with all the road works beautiful and it's.
- 10:33Speaker 6: A sinkhole by the way, sinkholes opened up.
- 10:36Speaker 5: It was a very high bar. The food was amazing,
- 10:40Speaker 5: the company was amazing. So then we had to draw
- 10:43Speaker 5: the next contestant out of the hat. And the next
- 10:46Speaker 5: contestant out of the hat was old.
- 10:49Speaker 6: The weekend has been set. It is next weekends, is it?
- 10:55Speaker 7: Jeez? That's come round quick.
- 10:57Speaker 6: Oh god, it is next Sunday. And as as tradition
- 11:01Speaker 6: would come down with me the UK TV show, you
- 11:03Speaker 6: have to issue us a menu or at least let
- 11:05Speaker 6: us know if you're doing a theme. So menu will
- 11:07Speaker 6: be next week.
- 11:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll give you a menu next week.
- 11:10Speaker 6: Yeah, three course meal. You have to say whether there's
- 11:12Speaker 6: going to be entertainment all that sort of stuff. But
- 11:14Speaker 6: for today, Jase, I understand you've got a theme ready
- 11:18Speaker 6: to go.
- 11:18Speaker 4: I do.
- 11:19Speaker 6: I can't wait to hear what this theme?
- 11:21Speaker 4: Are you ready Wellington?
- 11:23Speaker 6: Actually, if you've got ideas for themes as well, text
- 11:26Speaker 6: us three four eight three and you're going to draw
- 11:28Speaker 6: for a fifty reburg about joy.
- 11:30Speaker 5: It's a bit late for me now though easy to
- 11:31Speaker 5: be fair, but fellas this might be a bit outside
- 11:37Speaker 5: the box.
- 11:40Speaker 4: But we're running with late winter Christmas.
- 11:46Speaker 6: Boo, late winter Christmas. Yes, so we're doing a like
- 11:52Speaker 6: a family Christmas.
- 11:53Speaker 4: It's it is.

- 11:58Speaker 6: Right okay, j I have to bring you a present.
- 12:01Speaker 7: I'm going to be filthy.
- 12:02Speaker 5: No, there's no presence and can I say my confidence
- 12:07Speaker 5: has taken a massive dive after the reaction of the
- 12:11Speaker 5: live audience.
- 12:12Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, it's not a throb.
- 12:15Speaker 7: Absolutely nobody was into that.
- 12:18Speaker 3: People love Christmas. People love Christmas, but when you say it,
- 12:21Speaker 3: they're not into it at all.
- 12:22Speaker 5: Well, you see, I'm feeling very very confident. We've got
- 12:28Speaker 5: the entertainment all sussed out and.
- 12:31Speaker 4: The menu is nearly finished.
- 12:33Speaker 5: It's near think Christmas, and we've got a real smagas
- 12:38Speaker 5: board of Christmas drinks.

- 12:46Speaker 3: Jase for the entertainment. Please tell me your wife's dressing

- 13:14Speaker 5: late winter Christmas.
- 13:15Speaker 6: There's lots of really great texts coming through already. You
- 13:19Speaker 6: have theme ideas. If you wanted to pivot, you've got
- 13:23Speaker 6: Dilly theme.
- 13:24Speaker 7: Yeh see.
- 13:26Speaker 3: People love that straight away and initially Jays when we
- 13:32Speaker 3: first started floating this. You said that your wife has

- 32:15Speaker 6: montage here of everything heard today. Shall we play it?
- 32:18Speaker 4: Oh? Yeah, I put this together earlier this morning before
- 32:21Speaker 4: I got on the fly.
- 32:22Speaker 6: What program did you use to do that?
- 32:24Speaker 7: Oh? Really sophisticated? One God.

- 34:09Speaker 6: We didn't see the word.
- 34:17Speaker 5: Yeah, great stuff. Now a few people have asked A
- 34:22Speaker 5: few people have asked, are we going to do a
- 34:24Speaker 5: live traummer today? Should we do a live trauma? Were
- 34:28Speaker 5: you the live Yeah?
- 34:29Speaker 7: Fifty to fifty.
- 34:30Speaker 5: Yeah, because I'm on a roll at the moment. Yeah,
- 34:33Speaker 5: I'm on a massive role. I think we should do
- 34:36Speaker 5: that maybe after sex though.
- 34:37Speaker 6: Yeah, it's still a live throbber. And when we were
- 34:39Speaker 6: on the road doing a live show. The way it
- 34:41Speaker 6: works is we don't get people to phone and we
- 34:42Speaker 6: get the audience response to the song. So it's about
- 34:45Speaker 6: impressing the locals. That'll be happening just after six. In
- 34:48Speaker 6: the meantime, fellas, get the tunes going.
- 34:52Speaker 4: Yeah, block party, shall we.
- 34:58Speaker 1: The Hole King Bing Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 35:01Speaker 7: Tune in.
- 35:06Speaker 5: There on the Hodankee Big Show this Thursday evening live
- 35:10Speaker 5: from Bethel Woods, a beautiful Wellington city. And I tell
- 35:13Speaker 5: you what it's gone off down here, fellas. If you
- 35:16Speaker 5: are in Wellington, we've still with another hour of the
- 35:18Speaker 5: show that goes, So come on down and say good ay.
- 35:21Speaker 7: That's all right.
- 35:21Speaker 6: We're down here for Beervana, which kicks off tomorrow. It
- 35:24Speaker 6: goes Friday and Saturday. We've got a whole lot of
- 35:27Speaker 6: double passes and we're going to give them away any
- 35:29Speaker 6: second now, which is very exciting for those of you
- 35:31Speaker 6: that don't have tickets. Also, big shout out to our
- 35:33Speaker 6: friends that too are tarta for making this whole thing
- 35:35Speaker 6: possible now, Fellas, whenever we go on the road these days,
- 35:39Speaker 6: we like to do a live throbber and one thing
- 35:43Speaker 6: that we've kind of discovered about the live throbber over
- 35:47Speaker 6: the years is that it needs to be anonymous. Yes,
- 35:51Speaker 6: the audience can't know who's chosen each song because for
- 35:55Speaker 6: some reason sways the voting. Are you guys happy to
- 35:59Speaker 6: do an anonymous.
- 36:00Speaker 5: Well, I don't know that I am, actually, I mean,
- 36:03Speaker 5: I'm always very proud to own my Throbber, you know
- 36:07Speaker 5: what I mean.
- 36:08Speaker 4: And if the audience love it, they love it. If
- 36:10Speaker 4: they hate it they hated Kesey.
- 36:11Speaker 6: I don't hate it, you know what I mean.
- 36:14Speaker 4: But look, I'm open to what the fellas say here.
- 36:18Speaker 7: Yeah, one hundred percent, I'm ready to back end Kesey.
- 36:20Speaker 3: I know you're worried that people vote you down just
- 36:22Speaker 3: because you are the man that you are, and especially
- 36:24Speaker 3: after your performance this evening, dropping f bombs, refusing to
- 36:28Speaker 3: participate in sort of the spirit of the evening, all
- 36:31Speaker 3: these sorts of things. You're worried that spirit. You're worried
- 36:34Speaker 3: that the audience is against you, and maybe just probably so.
- 36:36Speaker 3: So I'm happy to do it anonymously. Best on Wins.
- 36:39Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, So we're just gonna play little snippets of
- 36:41Speaker 6: each song. We're gonna let the music speak for itself,
- 36:45Speaker 6: and we're not gonna let anyone who's upset because Key
- 36:47Speaker 6: wouldn't get his meat Patty nips out, potentially Boo Kesey's Throbber.
- 36:51Speaker 7: All right, yeah, okay, man, it seems like a wasted opportunity.
- 36:53Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, for you, maybe that's all happening after six.
- 36:56Speaker 1: O'clock show Jas, Mike and Kezy tune in weekdays and
- 37:02Speaker 1: four on Radio Hodakey.
- 37:07Speaker 5: It's the Holgy Big Shows, Friday Throbber, Douche.
- 37:13Speaker 6: Dooche, good stuff.
- 37:15Speaker 4: Jason, yeah baby.
- 37:17Speaker 5: Now for those of you that maybe don't know what
- 37:19Speaker 5: the Throbber is, I was gonna say Friday Throbber, but
- 37:23Speaker 5: technically it's the Thursday Throbber. Each of the fellas chooses
- 37:27Speaker 5: a tune to kick off your Friday night or your
- 37:30Speaker 5: Thursday night, get you in the.
- 37:32Speaker 4: Mood to party, basically, fellows. That's right.
- 37:35Speaker 6: We're live from bed the Woods in Wellington thanks to
- 37:37Speaker 6: toil Atata and basically when then we go on the road,
- 37:39Speaker 6: we like to get the local audience here fired up
- 37:42Speaker 6: using the Throbber as well. So it's about winning over
- 37:45Speaker 6: the people in the room. Mogi.
- 37:46Speaker 3: That's right, absolutely it is. And look, Jason's on a
- 37:50Speaker 3: bit of a freak. He's won one out of his
- 37:52Speaker 3: last fourteen weeks. Yeah, man, it's gonna be There's been
- 37:55Speaker 3: a whole lot of debate around Jason's enthusiasm for The Throbber,
- 37:59Speaker 3: but he turned over a new leaf, so I'm interested
- 38:01Speaker 3: to see how it goes tonight.
- 38:02Speaker 7: And also it's going to be anonymous, isn't it Kezy?
- 38:06Speaker 7: Three snippets.
- 38:06Speaker 3: We're not gonna know whose song it is because people
- 38:09Speaker 3: tend to vote against Keyesy when they know who's it is.
- 38:11Speaker 6: Well, especially because Kezy wouldn't get his meat patty nips out.
- 38:14Speaker 6: You know what, I don't think I don't think that
- 38:15Speaker 6: should come into things. So I'm gonna play three short
- 38:18Speaker 6: snippets of song. We're then gonna go to a tune
- 38:21Speaker 6: from Pearl Jam, and then when we get back we
- 38:24Speaker 6: will have the Anonymous Live Thursday Throbber. All right, here
- 38:29Speaker 6: is your first snippet for the Thursday Throbber. Yeah Strup
- 38:49Speaker 6: of course, fat pretty Strop from Welly's Well yeah, it's.
- 38:53Speaker 4: Very political choice, that one.
- 38:55Speaker 6: That's very smart from who it chose that nixt song
- 38:58Speaker 6: for you. This is anonymous. Don't forget open I saw myself.
- 39:09Speaker 6: It's a good song.
- 39:10Speaker 7: Film is Papa Roach Mascus? Yeah, yeah, I think it is.
- 39:16Speaker 7: I think it is keasy. I don't know, it's medical.
- 39:18Speaker 7: Yeah that's Joos.
- 39:22Speaker 6: Yeah, just a reminder that this is anonymous.
- 39:27Speaker 5: That got the reception that my theme for the come
- 39:30Speaker 5: down with the fella's God, no it didn't.
- 39:33Speaker 6: And the third option, Wow, who is that the deff
- 39:52Speaker 6: tones or is that tool?
- 39:53Speaker 4: Or is I think it's toll.
- 39:56Speaker 6: It's weird that you know that.
- 39:57Speaker 4: Wow, that's weird. But it was very low on the volume,
- 40:01Speaker 4: I thought. But yeah, that's all good.
- 40:03Speaker 6: Hey, Jase's a reminder, it is anonymous.
- 40:05Speaker 4: It's totally anonymous.
- 40:06Speaker 6: So we're gonna do it. We're gonna go to a
- 40:07Speaker 6: tune from Pilgam which is a tune by the way,
- 40:10Speaker 6: and we'll be back shortly for the Thursday Throbber Live edition. Fellas.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Yeah, great, good hurdarchy, big show with Jason Hoyt, Mike
- 40:19Speaker 1: Minogue and Kesey.
- 40:25Speaker 4: It's the whole Big shows Friday throb.
- 40:34Speaker 7: Yeah, good stuff, good stuff.
- 40:41Speaker 5: Now as we're doing the Thursday Throbber, obviously good stuff.
- 40:45Speaker 5: I've gotta be honest with you. It was a slightly
- 40:48Speaker 5: underwhelming response.
- 40:49Speaker 4: I suspect they were played very quietly though.
- 40:53Speaker 6: Oh yeahugs it's Pugs's fault. Yeah, he's a socker.
- 40:58Speaker 5: So what we're going to do now is well play
- 41:00Speaker 5: we will play a snippet of each again, and we're
- 41:03Speaker 5: gonna gauge who the winner is by the audience live
- 41:06Speaker 5: audience response.
- 41:07Speaker 3: Now that's I'm mistaken the way it happens. As we
- 41:09Speaker 3: played the three snippets, and then at the end of that,
- 41:11Speaker 3: we say, who want song one, song two or song three.
- 41:14Speaker 6: And we'll get you to chair.
- 41:15Speaker 3: Okay, right, live audience, So your snippets first, and then
- 41:18Speaker 3: you're you're screaming, all right.
- 41:19Speaker 6: So once again, here are your three choices for today's
- 41:23Speaker 6: live Thursday Throbbing. Keep it up, keep it up there,
- 41:32Speaker 6: keep them Yeah of course, local band Fat Pretty Strap,
- 41:45Speaker 6: Legends and the New Zealand music scene.
- 41:50Speaker 7: Damn open.
- 41:52Speaker 6: I saw myself.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Shut up my weakness, sou that I care too much, Moscus,
- 42:01Speaker 1: remind me the past.
- 42:05Speaker 7: Emotion alright, yeah, okay, okay.
- 42:10Speaker 6: Alright, so I think that's Papa Roach if I'm not mistaken.
- 42:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 42:14Speaker 6: And third and final choice.
- 42:20Speaker 8: H.
- 42:23Speaker 7: What the heck unless a Pike special? Wow?
- 42:30Speaker 6: Yeah, that's an angry song.
- 42:39Speaker 4: Alright, alright, alright, okay, okay, okay.
- 42:43Speaker 6: So no, no, because I know what you're going to do.
- 42:45Speaker 6: I know what you're gonna do. What I'm gonna do.
- 42:48Speaker 6: If we're gonna start from song number we'll just scope
- 42:53Speaker 6: and one al right, Okay, alright, song number one, that's
- 43:02Speaker 6: pretty good. That's pretty good. Okay, Song number two.
- 43:07Speaker 10: Okay, song number three, it's between one and two, three
- 43:20Speaker 10: and two.
- 43:21Speaker 3: I think it's two and three. Yeah, we're gonna go
- 43:23Speaker 3: between two and three again. So who's keen for two
- 43:26Speaker 3: Papa Roach? And who's keen for three.
- 43:33Speaker 7: Pugs?
- 43:34Speaker 6: You're gonna have to make the cool pugs right now.
- 43:36Speaker 7: I think we're just gonna have to go with a
- 43:37Speaker 7: tie breaker, and it's gonna have to be song number one.
- 43:40Speaker 6: Well, that's the works, Like we've got pugs everyone round
- 43:43Speaker 6: the can you hear me?
- 43:46Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 43:48Speaker 6: Cheers? That is awesome, ships us round of the poor.

- 45:01Speaker 6: buy yourself and you're feeling angsty. You don't play it
- 45:04Speaker 6: to a pub full of people kills the buzz.
- 45:06Speaker 4: I'll tell you what goat on the goat tool does
- 45:09Speaker 4: very well.
- 45:10Speaker 6: Yeah, on the Goat it does, but not on the

- 45:32Speaker 3: small D and a small penis.
- 45:34Speaker 6: Whereas Mike you are on and I'm on a limit.
- 45:37Speaker 7: You're on nine?
- 45:39Speaker 6: No, No, I'm on eleven or twelve. Now what we
- 45:44Speaker 6: need after clearing out a bar after playing a five
- 45:48Speaker 6: minute Tool song. And don't get me wrong, listening audience,
- 45:51Speaker 6: I love Tool, but when you're trying to get the
- 45:53Speaker 6: vibes up at a local live show at a bar,
- 45:55Speaker 6: Tool is not the way to do it. So what
- 45:56Speaker 6: I've done is I've got pugs to tee up a
- 45:58Speaker 6: bit of a yummy boy kind of party song that's
- 46:01Speaker 6: going to happen for those here necks at Bethel Woods.
- 46:05Speaker 6: For those of you listening in the area, come on.

- 47:30Speaker 6: it's going to be great.
- 47:32Speaker 8: Apparently it'd be nice if you guysn't stand outside my house.
- 47:39Speaker 5: I'm going to be honest with you, Ryan, my wife's
- 47:41Speaker 5: never stoked when I'm mentioning their name.
- 47:43Speaker 4: You know what I mean. She doesn't think you're a
- 47:45Speaker 4: good influence on me, you know what I'm saying.
- 47:46Speaker 8: The opposite of our house. My wife is always stoke
- 47:50Speaker 8: when your wife mentions.
- 47:53Speaker 3: Well, by the time we get to the stage of proceedings,
- 47:57Speaker 3: we're right on the eve of beavana. All the hard
- 47:59Speaker 3: works for you, even though you've done all the week
- 48:03Speaker 3: for pretty much.
- 48:04Speaker 7: If you get a couple of days off after the
- 48:06Speaker 7: last one and then you're ripping.
- 48:07Speaker 8: It on three hundred and sixty two days off.
- 48:10Speaker 3: And yeah, I mean, you're a lazy feeler and I
- 48:12Speaker 3: all know that, right, But how did the last one go?
- 48:15Speaker 3: And how is this yere looking? Because every year it
- 48:17Speaker 3: seems to beginning.
- 48:18Speaker 8: But the last one, you know, I mean, of course
- 48:20Speaker 8: I'm going to say it was incredible, but it was
- 48:22Speaker 8: a it was a great year. We had some great
- 48:24Speaker 8: breweries there. People had a great time. And actually, I mean,
- 48:28Speaker 8: I'm not going to too many horns, but just walking
- 48:31Speaker 8: around today, I've had so many people say that even
- 48:34Speaker 8: the breweries have kind of stepped up a bit. And
- 48:36Speaker 8: as soon as you walk straight into the place, You're
- 48:38Speaker 8: just like, yeah, this is There's nowhere else like it
- 48:40Speaker 8: on earth, you know. So it feels really good. And yeah,
- 48:44Speaker 8: no I'm not too busy. I might I'm going on
- 48:45Speaker 8: holiday tomorrow. Yea ray, I don't care what happens.
- 48:52Speaker 4: So how is it actually look at this year though,
- 48:54Speaker 4: of ticket sales and people wanting to come along.
- 48:56Speaker 8: Ticket sales a little bit up on last year, which
- 48:58Speaker 8: is what we want to see, especially around this time.
- 49:00Speaker 8: There's still plenty of tickets available for the night sessions.
- 49:03Speaker 8: There are not too many left for the day sessions,
- 49:06Speaker 8: So get in. I'm gonna I'm gonna point someone out
- 49:09Speaker 8: in the crowd over here. So we got a little
- 49:11Speaker 8: money from the government to promote well Beervanna in Australia
- 49:14Speaker 8: and we ran a competition looking for Australia's big as
- 49:16Speaker 8: beer fan. There's a guy over here called Disco Dave, Yes,
- 49:20Speaker 8: who is especially Australia's biggest beer fan.
- 49:23Speaker 6: Disco Dave.
- 49:24Speaker 8: He's yeah Terrible's round of applause for Disco Dave and
- 49:31Speaker 8: his plus one Max.
- 49:32Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 49:34Speaker 8: It was unfortunately, well fortunately he's an American who lives
- 49:37Speaker 8: in Australia. So he's a good American, Yeah, but we
- 49:40Speaker 8: couldn't give him the award. And it was pretty clear
- 49:43Speaker 8: if you put on one of those morphsuits of the
- 49:46Speaker 8: Australian flag, yes you swing your holme around and for yourself.
- 49:49Speaker 8: Australia's because beer fans.
- 49:51Speaker 7: Oh yeah, you know.
- 49:52Speaker 8: There were three hundred and seventy nine other entries one.
- 49:56Speaker 7: And so what does what does he get? He gets
- 49:58Speaker 7: to come over.
- 49:58Speaker 8: Here, he gets to come over here, take us to
- 50:00Speaker 8: every session you get. I mean the big drawers, come
- 50:03Speaker 8: here tonight and see some radio hosts that he has
- 50:06Speaker 8: no idea who the.
- 50:07Speaker 7: Fuck you are?
- 50:08Speaker 4: Yeah, second one tonight.
- 50:11Speaker 8: Yeah, that's that's the real highlight. But yeah, no, where
- 50:14Speaker 8: he's at everything. We're getting into some breweries. He's been
- 50:17Speaker 8: at the trade show, which is a kind of industry
- 50:19Speaker 8: only event, but we've stuck him in there.
- 50:21Speaker 7: And that is one of the great things that you've done.
- 50:23Speaker 7: Year on years. You've always had the internationals coming.
- 50:25Speaker 3: I mean, I'm sure he's got his own, you know,
- 50:27Speaker 3: been able to drink beers as great, but you get
- 50:30Speaker 3: the international brewers to come through as well. We had
- 50:32Speaker 3: a armors of Japanese fellas either a year or two ago. Yeah,
- 50:36Speaker 3: pretty incredible.
- 50:36Speaker 8: And what sort of well I have the Germans the
- 50:38Speaker 8: other day German this year we've got a Japanese brewer
- 50:41Speaker 8: called Yellow Monkey and they're super stoked. And actually the
- 50:45Speaker 8: head brewer there twelve years ago was the assistant brew
- 50:47Speaker 8: at falk And Brewer here in Wellington.
- 50:49Speaker 4: Oh wow.
- 50:49Speaker 8: And so he's and so influenced by New Zealand beer
- 50:52Speaker 8: that it's kind of a homecoming. He's bringing these beers
- 50:54Speaker 8: that are very influenced by what New Zealand does back
- 50:57Speaker 8: to New Zealand. And then we've got actually disco Dave
- 51:00Speaker 8: got to pick out his favorite local brewery and they
- 51:04Speaker 8: got some help and have been invited over called Seeker Brewing,
- 51:08Speaker 8: so they're going to be on the concourse. And then
- 51:11Speaker 8: rock Stars of Australia One Drop Brewing started by a
- 51:14Speaker 8: Kiwi from Masters and got two stands bringing the craziest
- 51:19Speaker 8: shit you've seen.
- 51:20Speaker 6: If we could just move on from disco Biscuits Dave
- 51:22Speaker 6: to you Ryan, of course you are.
- 51:26Speaker 7: That's a great joke, bro. Did you about yourself?
- 51:29Speaker 6: There was an accident the disco biscuit thing that was
- 51:32Speaker 6: usually is now you Ryan the organizer of No but Ryan,
- 51:40Speaker 6: you must have tasted every single beer this glorious country
- 51:43Speaker 6: has to upper first question. That's what my doctor said
- 51:48Speaker 6: to first question. Yes, and he was pheba. But what
- 51:51Speaker 6: is your favorite style of beer? What is the style
- 51:55Speaker 6: of beer that you think?
- 51:56Speaker 8: I mean, like, I remember there were some Germans over
- 52:00Speaker 8: a few years ago, my wife's German. I had huge
- 52:03Speaker 8: German huge beer awakenings and some other awakenings in Germany,
- 52:07Speaker 8: and so I'm a big fan of just like really
- 52:10Speaker 8: classic German hellas lager, a lager, a lager like really
- 52:14Speaker 8: well made. You can't hide as a brewer, you know
- 52:16Speaker 8: you can. You know you can hide behind heaps of
- 52:18Speaker 8: like fruit ingredients and all sorts of crazy stuff, but
- 52:20Speaker 8: like a really well made lager. But really, the best
- 52:24Speaker 8: beer is the beer that's in your hand. Yeah, to
- 52:26Speaker 8: be honest, that could be Fiji bitter because you're in
- 52:28Speaker 8: Fiji in a pool, right. I have this.
- 52:31Speaker 6: I don't know if it's a medical situation or what
- 52:33Speaker 6: it is, but I seriously have never been given a
- 52:37Speaker 6: beer that I haven't been able to finish the entire
- 52:39Speaker 6: glass off and not been able to say that was great.
- 52:42Speaker 6: People talk about bad beers.
- 52:44Speaker 8: I've like that's the maturity of the kind of New
- 52:47Speaker 8: Zealand beer industry. You know, eighteen years ago, when there
- 52:51Speaker 8: was heaps and heaps of enthusiasm, there might have been
- 52:55Speaker 8: maybe not so much kind of brewing knowledge and experience,
- 52:59Speaker 8: and so you might have picked up a bad one.
- 53:01Speaker 4: Now these days, man.
- 53:02Speaker 8: If you've got a bad beer, that's that's not gonna
- 53:04Speaker 8: sound like you have to try really hard to make
- 53:06Speaker 8: a bat Yeah, you've.
- 53:07Speaker 7: Got a Yeah. Is that all amazing?
- 53:08Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 53:09Speaker 8: And there's and most there's quality control, like the quality
- 53:12Speaker 8: of the brewers and the brewing industry in New Zealand
- 53:14Speaker 8: has just skyrocketed. Yeah, So you're pretty safe grabbing any
- 53:18Speaker 8: beer from the shelf.
- 53:20Speaker 6: Especially the shelves tomorrow and Saturday.
- 53:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 53:23Speaker 4: So if you haven't got a ticket at night the
- 53:26Speaker 4: nighttime sessions.
- 53:28Speaker 7: Tickets for that, grab some for the day sessions.
- 53:31Speaker 4: And I think we've got one ticket to give away too,
- 53:33Speaker 4: by the way, how good.
- 53:34Speaker 7: Final question for your mate, what time did you finish
- 53:36Speaker 7: up last night? No?
- 53:38Speaker 8: Oh, man, I went to bed at eight o'clock last night,
- 53:41Speaker 8: and then I fell asleep at twelve, yeah, and then
- 53:43Speaker 8: I woke up at four thirty and it was like yeah,
- 53:46Speaker 8: I'm not going back to sleeping, but you know, I
- 53:51Speaker 8: years ago, in my early years of this job, I'd
- 53:53Speaker 8: be up all night. But there's it's the worst thing
- 53:55Speaker 8: to do when you hungover. Eleven PM to twelve midnight
- 53:59Speaker 8: on Saturday night is Ryan's hour, right where all the
- 54:03Speaker 8: public are out. I get a trolley and I literally
- 54:05Speaker 8: walk around and you get trolley gleck beers and by
- 54:08Speaker 8: the time I've done my lap, I'm done.
- 54:10Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 54:11Speaker 6: A big shout out to Ryan from Beer Varner Bervarna
- 54:13Speaker 6: dot Co dot In said, yeah, boy, if you'd like
- 54:16Speaker 6: to get your tickets, still a few tickets available to
- 54:19Speaker 6: get to start going to tap me tomorrow and Saturday
- 54:21Speaker 6: at Henry Sadium and Wellington. Ryan, thanks for coming on mate.
- 54:24Speaker 8: It's always a pleasure. The next year outside moment Bedroom Window.
- 54:28Speaker 4: Yeah nice. But at Bush oh yeah, the.
- 54:32Speaker 1: Darky Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kesey.
- 54:38Speaker 5: James addiction there on the Holdanky Big Show This thusday
- 54:42Speaker 5: night line from Bethel Woods and beautiful Wellington City.
- 54:46Speaker 4: And what a show it's been.
- 54:48Speaker 5: Fella's a big weekend for you, Keezy, obviously your birthday weekend.
- 54:52Speaker 4: What are the plans mate, Yeah.
- 54:54Speaker 6: Thanks Jase. Obviously, yes, there was my birthday and for
- 54:57Speaker 6: the last three or so years I have I spent
- 55:00Speaker 6: my birthday weekends in well internet Beavanna, yes, and my
- 55:04Speaker 6: wife who is just bliss the bliss. Oh yeah, I've
- 55:08Speaker 6: never said that. I mean it's great. Yeah, I've really
- 55:11Speaker 6: enjoyed it. But my wife was like, hey, I'd love
- 55:13Speaker 6: to go away for your birthday.
- 55:14Speaker 7: So did she want to come down to be a Vanna?
- 55:17Speaker 6: That's what I said. I said, Hey, how about this
- 55:18Speaker 6: beer Vanna beithel Woods to a Tarta, you know, crap bears, etcetera.
- 55:23Speaker 6: And she said keen. But then she tried to get down.
- 55:27Speaker 6: He tried to get a ticket.
- 55:28Speaker 7: They were like, it was just sold out.
- 55:30Speaker 4: Yeah, because my wife tried to come as well.
- 55:32Speaker 6: She loves and I'm not sure website they were using
- 55:35Speaker 6: because there are still tickets available being Vanna not cut
- 55:37Speaker 6: out in did. But basically what she's booked is a
- 55:41Speaker 6: romantic weekend on Wahiki Island.
- 55:46Speaker 7: Whose birthday is because you hate romance?
- 55:49Speaker 6: No, I like romantic depends who it's with.
- 55:51Speaker 7: Ye're not your wife?
- 55:52Speaker 4: Oh nah.
- 55:55Speaker 7: Nah ahs, So what are you going to do?
- 56:01Speaker 3: Because obviously she's going to be trying to advance things
- 56:04Speaker 3: as the week goes on, and you're going to be
- 56:07Speaker 3: massively resistant.
- 56:09Speaker 4: So well, he's going to be human that he's not
- 56:11Speaker 4: at being Vara. You know what I mean?
- 56:13Speaker 6: Tell me about it, Mogie.
- 56:14Speaker 5: He's he's going to be he's going to be sulky,
- 56:17Speaker 5: I know, and he's going to be quietly human that
- 56:20Speaker 5: he's not at being Vara.
- 56:22Speaker 7: Well, I know what you. I know what you're like.
- 56:25Speaker 7: You like Jason a little bit with his burnt coffees.
- 56:28Speaker 3: You go quiet, you start fuman stomping around the house,
- 56:32Speaker 3: you're outside, your one word answers, all.
- 56:34Speaker 7: That sort of carry ons.
- 56:35Speaker 3: Right, But she's put a lot of effort into this
- 56:37Speaker 3: and she's spent you said off here, you said, she's
- 56:40Speaker 3: spending all of your hard earned money on this weekend
- 56:43Speaker 3: and you aren't even that king.
- 56:45Speaker 6: No, that's the thing, Mogi. I did say that, And
- 56:50Speaker 6: I said, look, I don't care how many keezy chants
- 56:52Speaker 6: break out. Yeah, there's no way, what.
- 56:59Speaker 4: What caze?
- 57:01Speaker 6: He don't join it? Don't just join it?
- 57:05Speaker 4: Hey?
- 57:06Speaker 3: So can I say there's there's nothing that's going to
- 57:08Speaker 3: kill the romance, like you've taken your shirt off exactly.
- 57:12Speaker 6: Yeah, And to be honest, know you the two times
- 57:15Speaker 6: that we have been into it in the past, it
- 57:17Speaker 6: has been with a T shirt.

- 57:25Speaker 4: I didn't meet ze Kiz.
- 57:26Speaker 5: I just was trying to figure out what they were saying,
