  Speaker 6: community is driven towards like becoming the better version of

  Speaker 6: themselves in Kingdom matters right where transparency leads to transformation.

  Speaker 6: And I think a part of that transparency people don't

  Speaker 6: find it in prayer. How does transparency and prayer correlate? Well,

  Speaker 6: how would y'all say that?

  Speaker 2: Well, you know, for me, I think it's it's about
• 4:40
  Speaker 2: relationship and it's about getting comfortable in your skin. A
• 4:44
  Speaker 2: lot of times we're dealing with so much performance instead
• 4:49
  Speaker 2: of presence, and uh and I love I love prayer
• 4:52
  Speaker 2: because you know, you just kind of take out all
• 4:54
  Speaker 2: the performance and you just get into a place of
• 4:57
  Speaker 2: being known, being seen, being heard, just opening up your heart,

  Speaker 2: you know, because I love praying. I don't know about you,

  Speaker 2: but I pray like four point thirty in the morning.

  Speaker 2: I mean, before I get out of bed, I start
• 5:08
  Speaker 2: talking to the Lord in my pjs, you know what

  Speaker 2: I'm saying. Before I get my hair dead. I mean,
• 5:14
  Speaker 2: it's just and Brad does it like.

  Speaker 4: That my hair is already dead.

  Speaker 2: But I think I think the art of prayer is

  Speaker 2: is we've made it a tradition instead of something that
• 5:27
  Speaker 2: is the heartbeat of living a.

  Speaker 2: And it's communion and learning how to slow down a
• 5:34
  Speaker 2: little bit just to listen to God. Because God is,

  Speaker 2: He is present. It's just that we live in a

  Speaker 2: very loud world. Yeah, and it's hard to hear Him.

  Speaker 2: So for me, prayer it really it brings me into
• 5:50
  Speaker 2: the moment and it grounds me where I'm at. So

  Speaker 2: that if there's anything that I love to do and
• 5:56
  Speaker 2: love to encourage others to do, is to pray.

  Speaker 6: That's so good. I love you've said this before, Pastor Leslie,

  Speaker 6: is that we're moving from performance back to prayer. And
• 6:08
  Speaker 6: you guys have a project that you guys have been
• 6:11
  Speaker 6: doing and leading the city with at the fire Dome.
• 6:13
  Speaker 6: Can you talk to us about that, Brad about the
• 6:16
  Speaker 6: fire Dome? And then I want to connect what you
• 6:19
  Speaker 6: mentioned to us before about the prayer the prayer over performance.
• 6:23
  Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely so. BGTV Studios. God told me to open
• 6:28
  Speaker 4: this up, the studio up that He's given me to
• 6:30
  Speaker 4: serve the body of Christ. Well, when we began to
• 6:34
  Speaker 4: do that, there was we got around twenty different podcasts
• 6:37
  Speaker 4: that were coming out of the studio and began to
• 6:39
  Speaker 4: see that God was building something different than what we thought.
• 6:44
  Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying, and so we were just
• 6:46
  Speaker 4: being obedient. But we got abound twenty podcasts and we
• 6:48
  Speaker 4: saw that they were all denominations, all races, all ages
• 6:52
  Speaker 4: that were coming together through this. And so he said,
• 6:54
  Speaker 4: all right, begin to meet and mingle once a quarter.
• 6:58
  Speaker 6: Yeah.
• 6:58
  Speaker 4: Well, as we did that, the studio kept growing and
• 7:02
  Speaker 4: we got to around forty forty five podcasts last year,
• 7:04
  Speaker 4: and we were like, all right, God, what is all
• 7:07
  Speaker 4: of this unity unto? Like, what do you want to
• 7:11
  Speaker 4: do with it? You know, like there's got to be
• 7:14
  Speaker 4: something more than just doing podcasts and you're building this
• 7:18
  Speaker 4: because I've never recruited one voice in the studio, right,
• 7:21
  Speaker 4: God has sent everyone and so he's building something. So
• 7:25
  Speaker 4: we began to pray, God, how do you want us
• 7:28
  Speaker 4: to steward the unity that you've brought to this ministry.
• 7:33
  Speaker 4: And as we prayed that, after about two or three months
• 7:36
  Speaker 4: of praying, God woke me up in the middle of
• 7:39
  Speaker 4: the night, and I just knew. There's times when you
• 7:43
  Speaker 4: wake up and you're like, you gotta decide to get
• 7:46
  Speaker 4: out of bed to go play, and then there's times
• 7:49
  Speaker 4: when you wake up and you're like, he wants to
• 7:51
  Speaker 4: talk to me, And so like I got up, I
• 7:54
  Speaker 4: knew he wanted to talk to me. I went into
• 7:56
  Speaker 4: my room where I spent time with the Lord, and
• 8:00
  Speaker 4: I sat down and said, right, Lord, what do you
• 8:02
  Speaker 4: want to say? And he spoke to me differently than
• 8:05
  Speaker 4: he normally does. I saw a picture just in the spirit.
• 8:11
  Speaker 4: I saw a picture of the Iron Dome over Israel,
• 8:14
  Speaker 4: where the Iron Dome is a literally a force field
• 8:17
  Speaker 4: that protects the city and the people from missiles that
• 8:20
  Speaker 4: the enemies, you know, launched into the city. Well, I said, okay, Lot,
• 8:25
  Speaker 4: I'm seeing this. What do you want me to do?
• 8:28
  Speaker 4: And he said, I want, through the unity that I've
• 8:31
  Speaker 4: sent to this ministry, I want y'all to build a
• 8:34
  Speaker 4: fire dome over the city of Birmingham, over the region
• 8:39
  Speaker 4: of Birmingham. He said, because revivals come into Birmingham. But
• 8:43
  Speaker 4: the first thing that we need to do is to
• 8:45
  Speaker 4: build the defense system so that when revival comes that
• 8:50
  Speaker 4: the missiles that the enemy is sending in aren't hitting target,
• 8:54
  Speaker 4: aren't hitting as much as they would without this fire dome.
• 8:58
  Speaker 4: And so I said and said, Lord, it sounds good.

  Speaker 4: I say, confirm it with your word, because like I was,
• 9:05
  Speaker 4: just like, this is big vision. Before I get all
• 9:07
  Speaker 4: these people involved in something like this, I need to
• 9:09
  Speaker 4: hear it and confirm it with your word. And I
• 9:11
  Speaker 4: heard clear as day read Zachariah chapter two, and I
• 9:15
  Speaker 4: was like what. I was like, I'm making this up.
• 9:18
  Speaker 4: You hear something that's zachari chapter two, you know. So
• 9:24
  Speaker 4: I turned Zachary chapter two and I get about five
• 9:27
  Speaker 4: verses down and my spirit jumps, my jaw drops, and
• 9:31
  Speaker 4: I'm like, in verse five says Lord. He says I
• 9:35
  Speaker 4: myself will be a wall of fire around the city,
• 9:38
  Speaker 4: declares the Lord, and my glory will be with them.
• 9:42
  Speaker 4: And I was like, God, this is what you want
• 9:45
  Speaker 4: to do, which is all I want to be a
• 9:47
  Speaker 4: part of. Is what he's doing. It involved with it.

  Speaker 4: You won't find me there, I got. We got no
• 9:51
  Speaker 4: time to mess around. It's going to be only what
• 9:54
  Speaker 4: he's doing.

  Speaker 2: Yeah.

  Speaker 4: So I came to Less, I said, Leslie, this is
• 9:57
  Speaker 4: what I'm hearing. I I know it's wild. I get

  Speaker 4: you know, I said, but this is what I heard.

  Speaker 4: He said, Man, it sounds it sounds on in my spirit.

  Speaker 4: Let's begin to pray and just see. So we took
• 10:11
  Speaker 4: about a week or two to pray over it, and
• 10:13
  Speaker 4: he was like, I feel this, he said. So we
• 10:15
  Speaker 4: launched it in October at our big annual BGTV gathering
• 10:19
  Speaker 4: that we were doing to open it up and do
• 10:21
  Speaker 4: fired domes around the city at different places. And because
• 10:27
  Speaker 4: we're just kind of covering the region in prayer, We're
• 10:30
  Speaker 4: not trying to get a thousand people in a room.
• 10:32
  Speaker 4: We're trying to get a hundred or so people come
• 10:35
  Speaker 4: in a room who are hungry to pray over this city.
• 10:37
  Speaker 4: To build this fire doome. Because this fire dome it
• 10:40
  Speaker 4: protects your family. Yeah, my family, your ministry, my ministry,
• 10:45
  Speaker 4: your town, my town, you know, the whole city. It's
• 10:48
  Speaker 4: we all come in and all of our voices matter.
• 10:52
  Speaker 4: James five sixteen says that the prayers of a righteous
• 10:56
  Speaker 4: person are powerful and effective. I believe that that verse
• 11:00
  Speaker 4: alone can can literally send us in to revival. That
• 11:04
  Speaker 4: because when I hear that verse, it moves me to
• 11:06
  Speaker 4: pray like I know I'm righteous by the blood of Jesus,
• 11:09
  Speaker 4: given my life to Jesus, and then when I live
• 11:12
  Speaker 4: my life in purity preparing for him to come, I
• 11:15
  Speaker 4: feel like it's even double effective, you know. And so
• 11:18
  Speaker 4: I feel like when I'm on my knees praying and
• 11:20
  Speaker 4: i see that verse, like I read that verse a
• 11:21
  Speaker 4: lot of times before I go to pray, because it
• 11:24
  Speaker 4: inspires me. It gives me the spiritual jolt that I
• 11:27
  Speaker 4: need to get on my knees and to pray because
• 11:29
  Speaker 4: knowing that my prayers are effective. So we're just saying, people,
• 11:33
  Speaker 4: come out, come, come to these Fireedome meetings because your
• 11:38
  Speaker 4: voice matters, all of our voices gathered together in unity.
• 11:43
  Speaker 4: And when I say the presence of God is coming
• 11:46
  Speaker 4: in the room during these fire Dome meetings, it's unlike
• 11:49
  Speaker 4: anything I've ever experienced. I've been in ministry twenty seven years,
• 11:52
  Speaker 4: and the presence of God in the fireedome is absolutely amazing.
• 11:58
  Speaker 6: That's what I hear. And you said something I think
• 12:01
  Speaker 6: that is so powerful, and I think passilistically, I think
• 12:06
  Speaker 6: with your experience with the Love Lady Center, I think
• 12:09
  Speaker 6: you could really answer this in a healthy manner because
• 12:12
  Speaker 6: the scripture you just brought up with James, right, the
• 12:14
  Speaker 6: prayers of the righteous of Vylus much Right, what if
• 12:17
  Speaker 6: I'm not righteous? What if I don't know? And but
• 12:21
  Speaker 6: I'm being encouraged to talk to a God that I
• 12:23
  Speaker 6: don't think that deems me as righteous? How would you
• 12:26
  Speaker 6: respond to someone like that?
• 12:28
  Speaker 2: Well, obviously, you know this is where you know, we
• 12:32
  Speaker 2: share the gospel that you know that God loves each
• 12:34
  Speaker 2: and every one of us, and it's he went to
• 12:36
  Speaker 2: great links to express that love. And when you begin
• 12:40
  Speaker 2: to see the love of God at the measure with
• 12:44
  Speaker 2: which it's true, it's not about performance. It's just about
• 12:49
  Speaker 2: his desire to bring a relationship with us, breaking down
• 12:55
  Speaker 2: every wall. And if you look at the Gospel, you
• 12:57
  Speaker 2: see so many that were unapproachable and untouchable in the
• 13:02
  Speaker 2: in their culture, and yet the Lord approached them and
• 13:05
  Speaker 2: he touched them. And like the woman that broke her
• 13:09
  Speaker 2: alabaster box out of gratitude because Jesus touched her. And
• 13:13
  Speaker 2: so for us, you know the gospel that's alive, that
• 13:19
  Speaker 2: is it still works today. It communicates the mercy and forgiveness,
• 13:25
  Speaker 2: and so we share that love and then I let
• 13:29
  Speaker 2: them know like their value. I just I let them
• 13:32
  Speaker 2: know like God wants you, he loves you, He talked
• 13:36
  Speaker 2: to him because they've been looking for love in all
• 13:39
  Speaker 2: the wrong places and now they found someone who loves
• 13:43
  Speaker 2: them without conditions. And you can come to him just
• 13:47
  Speaker 2: as you are. And so the blood of price obviously
• 13:51
  Speaker 2: makes that, you know, a reality. But you know, you
• 13:54
  Speaker 2: have to walk people through that and encourage them. You know,
• 14:00
  Speaker 2: people that you don't have to have a prayer language
• 14:05
  Speaker 2: in order to pray.

  Speaker 6: And what do you mean by that, because some people
• 14:08
  Speaker 6: might not understand what you know.
• 14:11
  Speaker 2: If you ever heard somebody that has a prayer language,
• 14:13
  Speaker 2: this kind of sounds like this, Oh, blessed Father, I'm like, ho, whoa, whoa, Like,
• 14:24
  Speaker 2: why are you getting all like religious? Yeah, talk to
• 14:28
  Speaker 2: him from your heart, be genuine, be real, let him know,
• 14:33
  Speaker 2: like and so. And people want to be known, they
• 14:37
  Speaker 2: want to be heard, and we have a God that
• 14:40
  Speaker 2: is available for us. Two four seven. The very first
• 14:43
  Speaker 2: miracle that took place on the cross when Jesus gave
• 14:48
  Speaker 2: up the ghosts was an earthquake. An earthquake was the
• 14:52
  Speaker 2: first miracle that took place when he let go his spirit,
• 14:56
  Speaker 2: And it says the earth shook and it went all
• 14:59
  Speaker 2: the way down to the temple and it ripped from
• 15:01
  Speaker 2: top to bottom the veil that was separating man from God.

  Speaker 2: Because God is saying, I want to be near you,

  Speaker 2: I want to get my hands on you, I want
• 15:12
  Speaker 2: to get to know you. I'm breaking down this religious

  Speaker 2: system so you can get to know me better. So

  Speaker 2: that's what it's all about, man, and so letting these

  Speaker 2: girls know that that God is ready to have a
• 15:26
  Speaker 2: relationship with them, and then we just build in this
• 15:30
  Speaker 2: prayer life. I teach on prayer all the time. It's
• 15:32
  Speaker 2: a dialogue, not a monologue. And but our spirit is
• 15:39
  Speaker 2: has been has been moving so rapidly and fast with
• 15:43
  Speaker 2: the world system that we're doing stuff. We're doing stuff
• 15:48
  Speaker 2: with people, but but not getting to know them. And
• 15:55
  Speaker 2: I'll just say this real quick. My wife told me
• 15:57
  Speaker 2: one time, she's like, baby, we never spend time together.
• 16:00
  Speaker 2: I'm like, and we've been married for like fifteen years.
• 16:02
  Speaker 2: I'm like, what are you talking about, girl, I'm like
• 16:04
  Speaker 2: here every day. She's like she's like, no, no, actually
• 16:11
  Speaker 2: we you know, I think we've been married about six years.
• 16:13
  Speaker 2: That's okay because we had two kids. And she's like,
• 16:18
  Speaker 2: you know, you're around me, but you're not with me.
• 16:21
  Speaker 2: And so for a man, for a moment, I was
• 16:24
  Speaker 2: like having a man moment. Okay, yeah, And so I
• 16:27
  Speaker 2: was learning, but God was about to show me something
• 16:29
  Speaker 2: through my wife. And she's said, you know, we were
• 16:33
  Speaker 2: doing stuff around each other, but not with each other
• 16:36
  Speaker 2: in the sense of hearing each other. So I came
• 16:40
  Speaker 2: home and I started sitting on this little small, miniature
• 16:45
  Speaker 2: couch in our living room. You know, you have your
• 16:47
  Speaker 2: regular couch and then you have a smaller one, you
• 16:50
  Speaker 2: know what you call that I love seat, And so
• 16:56
  Speaker 2: we got on the love seat and make play and
• 17:00
  Speaker 2: I come on. So I was like, how is your day?

  Speaker 2: And instead of like checking the next box, you know,
• 17:10
  Speaker 2: doing the dishes or whatever, you know, we started hearing
• 17:15
  Speaker 2: each other. How are you doing? And so I asked,
• 17:17
  Speaker 2: I tell people you need to go sit on the
• 17:19
  Speaker 2: love seat with God and ask him how his day was.
• 17:25
  Speaker 2: And then I mean, could you imagine, like the Bible
• 17:28
  Speaker 2: says David was a man after God's heart. A lot
• 17:31
  Speaker 2: of times we're thinking about about us and we're still
• 17:35
  Speaker 2: not thinking about him.
• 17:37
  Speaker 1: Wow.

  Speaker 2: And the Bible says that there's a prayer in heaven
• 17:41
  Speaker 2: there's different prayers that come from heaven, but one of
• 17:43
  Speaker 2: them was in Isaiah. And Isaiah you hear from the
• 17:46
  Speaker 2: throne of prayer request who will go for me? And
• 17:51
  Speaker 2: so we're always wanting God to answer our prayers. What
• 17:56
  Speaker 2: about us answering God's prayers?

  Speaker 6: Jesus, Jesus, does let me tell you something I told

  Speaker 6: you I'm over here, like he started getting out, I'm like, oh,

  Speaker 4: I feel a tong come out.

  Speaker 6: No, but I think that it's so good, and I

  Speaker 6: think that I want to make this elementary as possible

  Speaker 6: because sometimes, like you said, everybody has a pre language

  Speaker 6: and blah blah blah blah blah. And I was one

  Speaker 6: of those ones that thought I had to sound like
• 18:27
  Speaker 6: you know, just now, I'm fiery, just naturally, like I'm
• 18:30
  Speaker 6: just you gonna get the fire.

  Speaker 2: But to have to.

  Speaker 6: Sound a certain way to for God to hear me
• 18:36
  Speaker 6: and appreciate my voice, right, Like, why wouldn't God appreciate

  Speaker 6: the thing that he actually created? Why when God it's
• 18:44
  Speaker 6: a sound, Oh, I feel like help coming. But it's
• 18:48
  Speaker 6: a sound that God literally placed in our DNA and
• 18:52
  Speaker 6: when we come together with the sound is music to
• 18:56
  Speaker 6: his ears. I was just listening to a TEDx talk

  Speaker 6: and basically the young lady was talking about how people

  Speaker 6: think they need to know how to sing, how to
• 19:06
  Speaker 6: write a song or whatever, with really their life is

  Speaker 4: to walk with him. And so my favorite way to

  Speaker 4: is just a conversation with God. Like if you want

  Speaker 4: to make it as simple as possible, it's just a

  Speaker 4: conversation with God. But my literal favorite way to talk

  Speaker 4: with God, to communicate with God is to go on

  Speaker 4: a walk. And so I started doing this, I don't know,

  Speaker 4: fifteen years ago where I would find a place and

  Speaker 4: there was this place where I started doing it was

  Speaker 4: like besides this and I would walk down this creek

  Speaker 4: alongside the creek for about twenty minutes and I would

  Speaker 4: talk to God. If you're asking, like what do I

  Speaker 4: say to God? How do I communicate with him? Like

  Speaker 4: I would just tell him what was on my heart,

  Speaker 4: what I was feeling and just begin to talk to him.

  Speaker 4: And as I walked with him for twenty minutes, I
• 21:22
  Speaker 4: would talk, but when I got to a certain place,
• 21:25
  Speaker 4: I would turn around and I would say, all right, God,
• 21:27
  Speaker 4: now I want you to talk to me. I want
• 21:30
  Speaker 4: to listen. And so the way back I wouldn't say anything.

  Speaker 4: I would just listen to him and in that community
• 21:39
  Speaker 4: with God. When I started doing that, I began to

  Speaker 4: hear his voice. I began to understand what his voice

  Speaker 4: sounds like, how he communicates to me. And I began

  Speaker 4: to hear him and walk with him. And so I

  Speaker 4: think that it's just learning to sit and listen. And

  Speaker 4: so I've been able to take that now because this

  Speaker 4: is one thing that people understand, is like they you know,

  Speaker 4: the cool of the day for you, Like God knows

  Speaker 4: the moment in your like right now, like your schedule

  Speaker 4: today is different than it was five years ago. Career, Okay,

  Speaker 4: so he comes down the cool of the day for you,

  Speaker 4: is it different a different moment for you now than

  Speaker 4: it was five years ago. There's a moment during your day.

  Speaker 4: He knows that you have this time for him, but

  Speaker 4: you have to choose to walk with him at that time,

  Speaker 4: at the moment during your day, or if you're watching,

  Speaker 4: maybe you're a single mom, or maybe you're like my

  Speaker 4: wife who's eight months pregnant has a toddler at home,
• 22:42
  Speaker 4: Like when does she have time to spend with the Lord.

  Speaker 4: There's a moment for everybody in everybody's day, and the
• 22:50
  Speaker 4: Lord knows when that is, and that's when he's gonna
• 22:53
  Speaker 4: come down. And now you have the opportunity to walk
• 22:58
  Speaker 4: with him in that moment or I'm not gonna do
• 23:01
  Speaker 4: it today, but he's going to come down every day

  Speaker 4: and the clue of the day, whatever that is for you, okay.

  Speaker 4: And so he's not like, well, I can't believe you're

  Speaker 4: not meeting with me like you did last year at

  Speaker 4: this time. He knows your schedule. He gave you your job,

  Speaker 4: he gave you your family, he gave you all these things,

  Speaker 4: and so he knows. So what what I do is

  Speaker 4: every day, like okay, I go before like before I
• 23:26
  Speaker 4: wake up and get my Okay, usually the night before

  Speaker 4: I'm like, this is where my schedule's like tomorrow, this
• 23:34
  Speaker 4: is the time I know I'm gonna I'm gonna spend
• 23:36
  Speaker 4: time with the Lord.

  Speaker 6: So basically, what you just said is so powerful because,

  Speaker 6: for one, I think that we've had an opportunity as

  Speaker 6: believers to appropriate what you just said with people that's

  Speaker 6: looking to be more intentional with it prayer life. And

  Speaker 6: so I think that when I started praying, like being

  Speaker 6: really seeking God, I was told that, you know, choose

  Speaker 6: a time, and earlier the better. It's like start your
• 24:04
  Speaker 6: day with God and all that stuff like that. And

  Speaker 6: I'm a literal person, like I was like taking it
• 24:08
  Speaker 6: so literal and I knew what they meant. Well, now
• 24:12
  Speaker 6: I know what they meant by it, but but at
• 24:14
  Speaker 6: that time, I was like, Okay, I got to get
• 24:15
  Speaker 6: up at six o'clock not only my praying, but I'm
• 24:17
  Speaker 6: reading my word. And at that point I struggle with
• 24:20
  Speaker 6: the reading part and then I'm sleepy. So it's like
• 24:23
  Speaker 6: I'm like, no one's telling me, like the real at
• 24:26
  Speaker 6: least brush the t watstake takes it out. I'm thinking
• 24:29
  Speaker 6: I can't do any of that. But in reality, the Lord,
• 24:33
  Speaker 6: like you say, the cool of the day, the things
• 24:35
  Speaker 6: where I don't I'm not distracted. I know this time
• 24:37
  Speaker 6: is set aside for God. I'm not interrupting this right,
• 24:40
  Speaker 6: So that means I need structure to my day that
• 24:43
  Speaker 6: gives me makes me a steward of my time and
• 24:47
  Speaker 6: not just everything else. You get what I'm saying. So

  Speaker 6: I think that there's a point of freedom for people
• 24:53
  Speaker 6: to know that there's a cool of the day and
• 24:55
  Speaker 6: whatever your cool of the day is, what your cool
• 24:57
  Speaker 6: of the day is, and God will enter into that
• 24:59
  Speaker 6: space and say, okay, it's our time now.

  Speaker 4: Yeah, And let me give you an example. So like

  Speaker 4: when I first I got say when I was eight
• 25:06
  Speaker 4: years old, about straight from the Lord from like seventeen

  Speaker 4: to twenty one or so, and had four years of
• 25:13
  Speaker 4: going through hell. But so when I came back to
• 25:16
  Speaker 4: the Lord, I was working at Sears in the hardware department,
• 25:19
  Speaker 4: let's go, selling tools. But when I was there and
• 25:23
  Speaker 4: I had friends that I loved, and we would go
• 25:26
  Speaker 4: out to eat every day at lunch and just hang out,
• 25:30
  Speaker 4: I have a good time, just get trouble, you know,
• 25:31
  Speaker 4: all that kind of stuff. Well, all of a sudden,
• 25:36
  Speaker 4: I beg I started turning my life back to the
• 25:38
  Speaker 4: Lord and I had this desire to spend time with him.
• 25:44
  Speaker 4: So when I was at work, what I did was
• 25:47
  Speaker 4: instead of going to lunch with my friends for that hour,
• 25:51
  Speaker 4: I began to take a sack lunch, my Bible in
• 25:54
  Speaker 4: this book that God was using to speak into my life,
• 25:57
  Speaker 4: and I would get in my car at lunch to
• 26:00
  Speaker 4: the back of the parking lot, faced away from distraction,
• 26:05
  Speaker 4: and I just began to eat my sandwich and read
• 26:08
  Speaker 4: the Bible in that book and talk and pray with God. Well,
• 26:11
  Speaker 4: when I started doing that every day at lunch, that
• 26:14
  Speaker 4: was the cool of the day for me, Like my
• 26:18
  Speaker 4: relationship with God began to skyrocket because I was taking
• 26:24
  Speaker 4: that opportunity that He showed me. Now, I could have
• 26:26
  Speaker 4: gone to lunch with all my friends continue to do that,
• 26:28
  Speaker 4: but I was sacrificing that to spend with Him and
• 26:31
  Speaker 4: to grow close to him. So that's an example of
• 26:34
  Speaker 4: what the cool of the day may look like for
• 26:36
  Speaker 4: you in a busy schedule. Well, everybody gets lunched sometime.
• 26:41
  Speaker 4: I can use that time as well to spend time
• 26:42
  Speaker 4: with the Lord.

  Speaker 6: Yeah, I feel like you got something to say.

  Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I just want to say this, like, I'm

  Speaker 2: not necessarily a creature of habit. I am a spontaneous

  Speaker 2: person and so I love different locations, and I love

  Speaker 2: different body language, and I and I talk about that.

  Speaker 2: You know, obviously Jesus went to the mountain to pray.

  Speaker 2: We find in Matthew six six he says, enter into

  Speaker 2: your closet and pray. It says one passage in acts

  Speaker 2: And so because of that, I was, I'm gonna try

  Speaker 2: all that, you know, do that. So my first thing

  Speaker 2: that I did when I when I found Jesus was

  Speaker 2: I had this little coat closet that I emptied out

  Speaker 2: and it didn't even have a light in it, and

  Speaker 2: it was total darkness. But I put a little chair

  Speaker 2: in there and you close it and the knee like
• 27:35
  Speaker 2: the door would hit your knees. It was like that tight, right,

  Speaker 2: And I was like, okay, God, I'm in the closet now,
• 27:41
  Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. And so but then, you know,
• 27:45
  Speaker 2: as time went on, I started exploring different ways to
• 27:49
  Speaker 2: experience the Lord, and I love. There's a mountain that
• 27:53
  Speaker 2: I started going to that i'd love to go and
• 27:57
  Speaker 2: actually it overlooks the city of Birmingham, and so I
• 28:00
  Speaker 2: would take a hike and there's this huge rock and
• 28:04
  Speaker 2: I go out and just you know, make a spot
• 28:06
  Speaker 2: right there and have communion with the Lord and h
• 28:11
  Speaker 2: And so sometimes for those that kind of get in
• 28:15
  Speaker 2: a routine or a rut, it's sometimes you need to
• 28:17
  Speaker 2: kind of try a little something, you know, a little
• 28:20
  Speaker 2: something going on a little date with Jesus to freshen
• 28:26
  Speaker 2: it up. And uh and and you can see it
• 28:29
  Speaker 2: in the Word that people had a relationship with God
• 28:33
  Speaker 2: and in different ways that they connected to him. So
• 28:36
  Speaker 2: in as far as body language, some people like to kneel,
• 28:40
  Speaker 2: some people like to just sit quietly, some people like
• 28:43
  Speaker 2: to walk and pray. You know, there's just there's this
• 28:47
  Speaker 2: There's no way you can put it in a box.

  Speaker 2: I think so many times that we as young Christians,

  Speaker 2: we feel like there's a formula that I've got to follow.

  Speaker 2: And yet the Lord, like you said, is kind of
• 28:59
  Speaker 2: like he wants He don't want us to become an echo.

  Speaker 2: He wants us to be a voice and get comfortable.
• 29:06
  Speaker 4: In our skin.

  Speaker 2: And so the cool of the day, like for my wife,

  Speaker 2: she's a night out and I wake up before the rooster, right,

  Speaker 2: and so her best time, a lot of time to
• 29:18
  Speaker 2: spend with God was at night time. We've always been
• 29:21
  Speaker 2: told why when you first get up, you better meet
• 29:23
  Speaker 2: with the Lord.

  Speaker 2: But some people that like they don't get up when
• 29:26
  Speaker 2: they get that's not the that's not their best. Yeah,

  Speaker 2: and that's so good and so so you just kind

  Speaker 2: of figure out what's your good sweet spot. And but

  Speaker 2: it is important. It's something that we don't want to
• 29:41
  Speaker 2: over overlook. And anybody can do it. I mean, just

  Speaker 2: like just start, just open up your heart. A lot

  Speaker 2: of times the atmosphere kind of helps you know, whether
• 29:55
  Speaker 2: you put on soft music, candlelight with Jesus, you know

  Speaker 2: how to set the tone or like like Brad said,

  Speaker 2: you know kind of get away from the crowd so
• 30:06
  Speaker 2: that you can kind of have, you know, a time

  Speaker 2: along with God. So it's been a journey and I

  Speaker 2: still discover new things about it all the time.

  Speaker 4: an example of like what an assignment that God gave

  Speaker 4: I was sitting around somebody that's close to me and

  Speaker 4: I look over at this person and the Lord says,

  Speaker 4: stand in the gap for him, And I was like, WHOA,

  Speaker 4: Like it was an assignment, you know what I'm saying.

  Speaker 4: And so like in Ezekie Old twenty two it says

  Speaker 4: I looked for someone among them who would build up
• 31:16
  Speaker 4: the wall and stand before me in the gap on
• 31:19
  Speaker 4: behalf of the land, so I would not have to
• 31:22
  Speaker 4: destroy it. But I found new one. So sometimes the

  Speaker 4: Lord is looking for people to stand in the gap
• 31:29
  Speaker 4: for a person. Sometimes he's looking for people to stand
• 31:33
  Speaker 4: in the gap for a family or for a ministry,

  Speaker 4: or sometimes he's looking for people to stand in the
• 31:38
  Speaker 4: gap for a city, for a land. And so there

  Speaker 4: are assignments that the Lord gives to people. And so

  Speaker 4: me to do for this person, you know what I'm saying,

  Speaker 4: And so it gives me also have when you can

  Speaker 4: build your faith building sometimes on experience, experiences that you've

  Speaker 4: had in the past that were positive, you know what

  Speaker 4: I'm saying. So back in like two thousand and eight,

  Speaker 4: I was praying. I just felt to pray for my
• 32:43
  Speaker 4: cousin who lives like two hours away, and I was

  Speaker 4: in part of this ministry that God was moving and

  Speaker 4: I just said I just felt like God. I said, God,

  Speaker 4: I just want him to come experience what you're doing here,
• 32:56
  Speaker 4: and I want his life to be changed. And so

  Speaker 4: I've been to pray for him every day and in

  Speaker 4: like two months in, I get a random call from him.

  Speaker 4: We don't talk all the time, and he's like, man,

  Speaker 4: I just got a random call. I mean, he said,

  Speaker 4: I just got a call from my boss and I
• 33:12
  Speaker 4: just got fired because of this craziness that happened and

  Speaker 4: this and that, and I just said, man, I said,
• 33:18
  Speaker 4: why don't you move to Birmingham. I got a place.

  Speaker 4: So I said, I got a guy that gives you
• 33:22
  Speaker 4: the same type of job. You can come live with me.

  Speaker 4: And so he literally he said, let me pray about it.

  Speaker 4: He said, let me think about it. He said, came
• 33:30
  Speaker 4: a week. A week later, he moved into my house,
• 33:32
  Speaker 4: got him a job, and then his life began to change.

  Speaker 4: Like he was involved with going on, He got his kids,

  Speaker 4: He'd being to raise his kids up. You know, I'll

  Speaker 4: come home at night, he'd be doing homework with his kids.

  Speaker 4: This is something that he was living a life of
• 33:48
  Speaker 4: the world. Yeah, because I took time to stand in

  Speaker 4: the gap for one person and to pray for this

  Speaker 4: one person, like his life changed.

  Speaker 4: So I feel like if we could like stir each

  Speaker 4: other up and and spur one another on to pray,

  Speaker 4: Let's just start with one person. Pray for that one

  Speaker 4: person that God puts on your heart until their life

  Speaker 4: is changing. Yes, Like if we would all just do that,

  Speaker 6: And that's this is an interesting point in my mind.

  Speaker 6: Sometimes we leave it at prayer. What I heard you

  Speaker 6: say is not only did God have you pray for him,

  Speaker 6: but in the midst of that, he prepared your heart

  Speaker 6: to help him when the prayer was time to have

  Speaker 6: be answered. And I think that there is a gap

  Speaker 6: for people that's interason see them but not being ready

  Speaker 6: to be the answer for the intercessions. And it's like

  Speaker 6: how I think the I think that has a lot

  Speaker 6: to do with faith. Would you would you say that,

  Speaker 6: like all all I have to offer on my words

  Speaker 6: and not being the space for somebody to be be

  Speaker 6: in the country a conducive space to where they can

  Speaker 6: manage their salvation, because I think that's also a thing

  Speaker 6: that a respect as mature believers. I'm not saying people

  Speaker 6: that just you know what I'm saying, as mature believers,

  Speaker 6: they can discern the timing of God discern because we're
• 35:15
  Speaker 6: not called to do it for everybody, right, but we

  Speaker 6: are called not to just be prayer warriors, but to

  Speaker 6: be the answer because God is the answer and we're

  Speaker 6: the evidence of God. And I think that's so important

  Speaker 6: that you said, not only did I pray, but when

  Speaker 6: it was time, I invited them in.

  Speaker 4: it is like when your faith becomes active, James says

  Speaker 4: is dead. So there's a lot of people going to wonder,

  Speaker 4: mature enough to where they'll pray, but there's another level

  Speaker 4: of maturity going, hey, I'll take on spiritual response ability.

  Speaker 4: And that's what people run from, is they're like, well,

  Speaker 4: I'm gonna get to this line. I want toe the
• 36:05
  Speaker 4: line to hear. But if I cross this line, now

  Speaker 4: I have to take on spiritual responsibility. Jesus, I have
• 36:10
  Speaker 4: to do something. You know what I'm saying, Well, you
• 36:11
  Speaker 4: can't have kids in the physical without taking on responsibility
• 36:16
  Speaker 4: to raise them. Yeah, well you can't take on. You
• 36:19
  Speaker 4: can't have spirit people in the spirit being born again
• 36:23
  Speaker 4: or growing or coming back home without taking on some
• 36:27
  Speaker 4: type of spiritual responsibility to help them grow and disciple them.

  Speaker 4: And so I think that's another thing that people dodge. Yeah,

  Speaker 2: we look at him sometimes instead of a heavenly father,

  Speaker 2: we look at him as a sugar daddy. And because

  Speaker 2: of that, we just think, you know, if we can

  Speaker 2: rub the if we can rub him the right way, Jesus,
• 38:20
  Speaker 2: But he's not like that. So I think even coming

  Speaker 2: to prayer, you know, we've often heard this Brad that

  Speaker 2: you don't don't worry about what you're going to tell
• 38:29
  Speaker 2: somebody on sharing your faith. The Holy Spirit will give
• 38:33
  Speaker 2: you the words to say in that moment. But a
• 38:36
  Speaker 2: lot of times we don't think about that in prayer.

  Speaker 2: But the Bible tells us in Romans eight twenty six,
• 38:41
  Speaker 2: when we don't know how to pray for things as
• 38:43
  Speaker 2: we ought, the spirit helps us. And so I think
• 38:47
  Speaker 2: there's a journey of going into this place of maturing
• 38:52
  Speaker 2: in the way that we pray, in the way that
• 38:54
  Speaker 2: we talk, and what we ask for. Oftentimes we're thinking
• 38:59
  Speaker 2: about our our immediate needs, but the Bible says, seek
• 39:03
  Speaker 2: the Kingdom of God first, and then all these other
• 39:07
  Speaker 2: things will be added to you in his time. Now
• 39:11
  Speaker 2: to go back to just the question at hand, what

  Speaker 2: happens when you know that loved one you prayed for

  Speaker 2: doesn't get their healing, or you know that marriage doesn't

  Speaker 2: get repaired. You know, the Bible says that God wishes
• 39:27
  Speaker 2: that none would perish. God also is sad about some
• 39:33
  Speaker 2: things that don't happen. He wishes that people would would forgive.
• 39:39
  Speaker 2: He wants things to happen. But God has given man
• 39:43
  Speaker 2: will a will, and sometimes things don't work out the
• 39:46
  Speaker 2: way that we want them to. And I'm gonna say this,

  Speaker 2: there's some things that happen that it wasn't God's desire
• 39:54
  Speaker 2: for that to happen either, so he gets sad with
• 39:58
  Speaker 2: us as well. So I feel like, if we realize

  Speaker 2: that God is just for us, yeah you know what

  Speaker 2: I mean, and we can come into agreement and we

  Speaker 2: can believe and and sometimes we see those breakthroughs and

  Speaker 2: those answers and then we rejoice. But there's gonna be
• 40:14
  Speaker 2: times in our life that we go through disappointments.

  Speaker 6: And I want to bring up one of those disappointments
• 40:18
  Speaker 6: that we all know about, Brad, if you don't mind,

  Speaker 6: because watching you and Haley go through what y'all went
• 40:28
  Speaker 6: through last year on losing your child, right, I think

  Speaker 6: I think I was, I'm gonna be transparent. I was
• 40:35
  Speaker 6: so I questioned my prayers. I'm not even gonna lie,
• 40:41
  Speaker 6: and I think that we're honest with that. People can
• 40:44
  Speaker 6: like connect with this like I was.
• 40:47
  Speaker 4: I was.
• 40:47
  Speaker 6: I was. I wasn't broken to the point where I
• 40:50
  Speaker 6: didn't believe in God, but I was like, but God,
• 40:52
  Speaker 6: he's he's sold out for you, he is they're sold

  Speaker 6: off for you. He gave you another level of a yes,
• 40:57
  Speaker 6: and and why does he have an experience? I had
• 40:59
  Speaker 6: a lot of questions and I can only imagine for you,
• 41:02
  Speaker 6: being as close knit as you are to him, how
• 41:05
  Speaker 6: much pain that was for you. But you experienced it
• 41:08
  Speaker 6: like you've given God an unapologetic yes, and even to
• 41:12
  Speaker 6: this day you have not waivered. And so how how
• 41:16
  Speaker 6: did you journey knowing that you prayed for something and
• 41:20
  Speaker 6: it didn't happen, such as losing a child?
• 41:23
  Speaker 4: Yeah, you know those are questions that you that we
• 41:27
  Speaker 4: all have when when we put it all on the
• 41:30
  Speaker 4: line and and God doesn't grant that request that we're asking.
• 41:34
  Speaker 4: And so for those that don't know, Uh, me and
• 41:38
  Speaker 4: my wife had a baby last year that was born
• 41:41
  Speaker 4: with we thought was just hydrocephalus and which is just
• 41:47
  Speaker 4: flewid on the brain. What they thought this would put
• 41:48
  Speaker 4: a shunt in and everything was going to be fine.
• 41:51
  Speaker 4: Well day by day nine that it wasn't. They weren't
• 41:54
  Speaker 4: able to wean her off, and so they did another
• 41:57
  Speaker 4: MRI and when I say, we are off of the
• 42:00
  Speaker 4: later and so kind to find out that two thirds
• 42:05
  Speaker 4: of her brainstem didn't develop. So we knew at that
• 42:10
  Speaker 4: moment that we were gonna have to pick a day
• 42:12
  Speaker 4: to tell her bye. So that's the story. Well, backing
• 42:17
  Speaker 4: up to twenty weeks into the pregnancies. When we found
• 42:21
  Speaker 4: out that she had some brain issues, well, we began
• 42:25
  Speaker 4: to just go all out in prayer. And my wife
• 42:29
  Speaker 4: has been through a tough season even before that, but
• 42:33
  Speaker 4: this even stirred her to get close to the Lord
• 42:38
  Speaker 4: and begin to believe in the Word and to pray.
• 42:40
  Speaker 4: I mean, we had scriptures like literally all over the wall,
• 42:44
  Speaker 4: like just praying and believing, and we pray every every night,
• 42:48
  Speaker 4: every morning, and and so to answer your question, sometimes
• 42:54
  Speaker 4: we just don't get the answers that we want on
• 42:58
  Speaker 4: this side because God chose not to heal our baby.
• 43:08
  Speaker 4: But it's in those moments that peep your faith. I
• 43:21
  Speaker 4: don't even know how to really it is to word it,
• 43:23
  Speaker 4: but like your faith is on a billboard for people
• 43:29
  Speaker 4: to see, you know. And God just told me, he said,
• 43:33
  Speaker 4: Brad Macy, she lived every day that I designed her
• 43:41
  Speaker 4: to live like she she It says in the Bible
• 43:44
  Speaker 4: that all of our days are numbered, so hers was
• 43:49
  Speaker 4: numbered at seventeen, at seventeen days, and so to know
• 43:56
  Speaker 4: that she lived her full life that God designed her
• 43:59
  Speaker 4: to live. And so I didn't know why God chose
• 44:05
  Speaker 4: not to heal her when we went all in and
• 44:07
  Speaker 4: I was scared, and I was honestly was scared of
• 44:12
  Speaker 4: what it was gonna do to thank you, it was
• 44:17
  Speaker 4: gonna do to my wife and her relationship with the Lord,
• 44:22
  Speaker 4: you know. But when we were sitting there and we
• 44:26
  Speaker 4: received the news, you know, with all the neurosurgeons and
• 44:33
  Speaker 4: doctors and everybody came in there on that ninth day
• 44:35
  Speaker 4: to tell us that her brain stem didn't develop all
• 44:40
  Speaker 4: the way and that we have to tell her goodbye.
• 44:42
  Speaker 4: When when they all left the room, it was just
• 44:44
  Speaker 4: me and Haley left in there with Macy, and we
• 44:48
  Speaker 4: were just stunned. But it wasn't me that spoke up first,
• 44:54
  Speaker 4: like Haley broke the silence. The first words that were
• 44:59
  Speaker 4: uttered into the atmosphere after hearing that news was Haley,
• 45:05
  Speaker 4: and she said, thank you God forgiveness our child and
• 45:10
  Speaker 4: forgiven us these days that you've given us. And so
• 45:14
  Speaker 4: sometimes things happen. We know God didn't decide to take
• 45:21
  Speaker 4: her to strengthen Haley, but at the same time she
• 45:25
  Speaker 4: was her faith was strengthened inside of there. And there
• 45:27
  Speaker 4: were so many people that came to us afterwards, daring
• 45:32
  Speaker 4: and everything, saying my faith was strengthened and inspired by
• 45:36
  Speaker 4: the way that you handled it, and you handled this,
• 45:40
  Speaker 4: you know, and so we don't have we won't get
• 45:45
  Speaker 4: all the answers that we want. This, So when you
• 45:49
  Speaker 4: when you pray and things don't happen, that shouldn't waver
• 45:53
  Speaker 4: your faith because your faith is in Jesus because of
• 45:58
  Speaker 4: what he's done for you. Yeah, not like let's he's saying,
• 46:02
  Speaker 4: it's not a we we can pray and rub the
• 46:06
  Speaker 4: genie bottle. We were rubbing that to you a bottle
• 46:09
  Speaker 4: a lot, but that didn't come.

  Speaker 2: But to.

  Speaker 4: Know that that so you can't grow in the physical
• 46:22
  Speaker 4: without having pressure to you know, when you work out
• 46:26
  Speaker 4: well your spiritual muscles. Also you get the opportunity to

  Speaker 4: prove to yourself, to the Lord and to everybody around you,
• 46:35
  Speaker 4: why you're really following him.

  Speaker 2: That's so good.

  Speaker 4: And I wasn't following him because he could give me
• 46:44
  Speaker 4: things or he could do something for me, Like I
• 46:47
  Speaker 4: followed Jesus because I love him because of what he's done,
• 46:55
  Speaker 4: because while I was a sinner, like he loved me
• 46:59
  Speaker 4: for like he died for me, while yeah, I was
• 47:02
  Speaker 4: a sinner, Like he doesn't owe me anything like I
• 47:08
  Speaker 4: owe him everything. And so yes, there's gonna be good
• 47:15
  Speaker 4: times in our life, and there's gonna be bad times
• 47:17
  Speaker 4: in my life. But my foundation is on me knowing Jesus,
• 47:23
  Speaker 4: and that all comes through these communion, these prayer moments
• 47:26
  Speaker 4: that we're talking about. Is that I don't follow him
• 47:30
  Speaker 4: because he can do things for me, give me things.

  Speaker 4: I just simply follow him because I love him and

  Speaker 4: I'm in relationship with him and I'm his bride. He's
• 47:40
  Speaker 4: my bridegroom, and like there's a relationship there, and so
• 47:45
  Speaker 4: I know, I just can't there's so much I can
• 47:47
  Speaker 4: say about that, but thank you for asking, because it
• 47:50
  Speaker 4: does feel good and people ask about Macy. So like, literally,
• 47:53
  Speaker 4: just a moment ago while we're on this podcast, Haley
• 47:55
  Speaker 4: just texted me and said this is hopes are two
• 47:59
  Speaker 4: and a half year old daughter. She said that hope
• 48:03
  Speaker 4: to build a cross out of these magnets on the
• 48:06
  Speaker 4: floor and it says she told me, I'm building across
• 48:12
  Speaker 4: Mommy for Jesus. But Jesus is not here. He's in heaven.
• 48:17
  Speaker 4: He's at Heaven with Macy. And so you just don't
• 48:22
  Speaker 4: you just don't know all that God's doing. You know,
• 48:25
  Speaker 4: like even Macy's life is helping my daughter now understand
• 48:32
  Speaker 4: Jesus in heaven and more so, you just never know
• 48:36
  Speaker 4: what God's doing all the way through it. And so
• 48:38
  Speaker 4: Macy's life has impacted a lot of people. And she
• 48:41
  Speaker 4: only lived seventeen days, yeah, on this earth. And so
• 48:45
  Speaker 4: wrapping that up is that we chose to find the
• 48:52
  Speaker 4: miracles that God did keep us.
• 48:55
  Speaker 6: That's so good.
• 48:56
  Speaker 4: So like the miracle that we wanted was her to
• 49:01
  Speaker 4: live and to be whole.
• 49:02
  Speaker 6: Yeah.
• 49:04
  Speaker 4: But when I walked into the operating room, she wasn't
• 49:10
  Speaker 4: a good color, like when she came out of Haley's,
• 49:13
  Speaker 4: you know, an emergency c section. Macy was laying on
• 49:17
  Speaker 4: the table was not a good color. And I didn't
• 49:20
  Speaker 4: know she was gonna make it at all. And so
• 49:22
  Speaker 4: I got down on my knees in the middle of
• 49:24
  Speaker 4: the operating room and started praying for God to come
• 49:26
  Speaker 4: and telling Death to leave the room. And they came
• 49:30
  Speaker 4: over to me and said, she's come, come in a
• 49:32
  Speaker 4: good color. And so we got up and got to
• 49:36
  Speaker 4: talk to her. And so God gave us seventeen days.
• 49:42
  Speaker 4: He the two thirds of her brainstem didn't develop well.
• 49:48
  Speaker 4: The neurosurgeons at the top of the top at Children's hospitals,
• 49:51
  Speaker 4: like they were baffled that she was able to move
• 49:56
  Speaker 4: any part of her body, to move her legs, to
• 49:59
  Speaker 4: move her arms, to open her eyes. But she was
• 50:03
  Speaker 4: able to She could grab your finger, she could respond
• 50:07
  Speaker 4: to like touch and tickle, and if you touch her foot,
• 50:11
  Speaker 4: she would remove it and then she would open her
• 50:13
  Speaker 4: eyes and see you. And like when we would hold her,
• 50:17
  Speaker 4: like she would sleep most of the time, but when
• 50:18
  Speaker 4: me and Haley held her, she would open her eyes
• 50:21
  Speaker 4: and she was like she saved all her energy to
• 50:23
  Speaker 4: be there with us, but she knew we were holding
• 50:26
  Speaker 4: her and that she was there, like she was comprehensive.
• 50:29
  Speaker 4: And every time the surgeons would have the narrow certainly
• 50:31
  Speaker 4: coming in, they would tap on her feet and they
• 50:34
  Speaker 4: couldn't understand how she was able to move her feet
• 50:37
  Speaker 4: and fingers and open her eyes. And so those were
• 50:40
  Speaker 4: miracles that God gave us that weren't supposed to happen.
• 50:46
  Speaker 4: And so like we we take those memories and we
• 50:50
  Speaker 4: thank God for what he did give us. And so
• 50:54
  Speaker 4: you know, when you don't get the full answer, find
• 50:57
  Speaker 4: out what he what he has given you, and think
• 51:00
  Speaker 4: for the miracles that He did give you.

  Speaker 6: Jesus, this is this. I really could talk to y'all

  Speaker 6: our testimony. And so what my prayer is is that

  Speaker 6: And what I learned once I got into it, it's

  Speaker 6: not necessarily about how you pray, but it's about the

  Speaker 6: disciplines you know that we should have as believers to

  Speaker 6: be able to have those times with the Lord, to

  Speaker 6: be able to choose to have those those moments with

  Speaker 6: the Lord. And I love how Brad made it so

  Speaker 6: practical about the cool of the day, right, because sometimes

  Speaker 6: we can feel condemned because maybe our schedule has gotten
• 53:29
  Speaker 6: a little bit busier.

  Speaker 6: But I can think about, literally think about moments times

  Speaker 6: through the day. Most of them I'm driving, which is

  Speaker 6: interesting enough, right that my spirit. I can feel the

  Speaker 6: And in those moments, I'm like, I hope I don't

  Speaker 6: start crying, Lord, because I got to keep the car

  Speaker 6: on the road, you know. But in those moments, it's

  Speaker 6: just such a I can feel the car feel with

  Speaker 6: his spirit, you know, and I'm just praying it out

  Speaker 6: and whatever it is. I don't know why he has

  Speaker 6: praying in this moment, right, But it was an invitation

  Speaker 6: that I decided because, like you said, we get to
• 54:06
  Speaker 6: choose to accept the invitation into that moment. And once

  Speaker 6: it's done, it's kind of like, okay, Lord.

  Speaker 6: and having conversation with the Lord. Like he gave us

  Speaker 6: you can't hear me? Good because I'm trying to mimic

  Speaker 6: journey just to flow with the Holy Spirit.
