- 0:00Speaker 1: You are listening to a lily Pad production.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Hello their leapfrogs, and welcome back to Pandemonium. Welcome back
- 0:07Speaker 2: to season six. It is not lost on me that
- 0:10Speaker 2: I am now entering my sixth year of doing exactly
- 0:13Speaker 2: what I want to be doing, and it's a privilege
- 0:16Speaker 2: and it's a joy. It still blows my mind that
- 0:19Speaker 2: more and more people are checking out this podcast every year.
- 0:23Speaker 2: So if you've been with us for a while, thank
- 0:25Speaker 2: you so much for supporting this nonsense. It's because of
- 0:28Speaker 2: you that we keep on growing, so thank you. And
- 0:31Speaker 2: if you're here for the first time, well you've picked
- 0:34Speaker 2: a great place to start. This is our first episode
- 0:37Speaker 2: of the season, as well as our first live episode
- 0:40Speaker 2: of the year. As you can probably tell from the
- 0:43Speaker 2: episode title, we decided to kick things off with the Witcher,
- 0:47Speaker 2: which are and as you might also be able to
- 0:50Speaker 2: tell from the episode title, we kick things off with
- 0:52Speaker 2: a lot of sea bombs. So if you're not a
- 0:55Speaker 2: fan of the sea word being thrown about, you know,
- 0:58Speaker 2: the one, then maybe this isn't the episode for you. However,
- 1:02Speaker 2: if you enjoy a cheeky sea bomb, there's a lot.
- 1:05Speaker 2: I think I'm going to put it out there. This
- 1:07Speaker 2: might be the most times the sea word has been
- 1:10Speaker 2: said on a podcast ever. I'm sure some performance artist
- 1:14Speaker 2: has just released an hour of them saying the word.
- 1:18Speaker 2: This is pretty close to that. It's in a team name,
- 1:20Speaker 2: so you get why. But it was such a fantastic
- 1:23Speaker 2: time at the Peak Improv Theater doing our thing live
- 1:26Speaker 2: like we do on the second Friday of every month,
- 1:29Speaker 2: and we had two fantastic guests in Ben and Amanda
- 1:32Speaker 2: from Feltian Friends, which is the show that happens before
- 1:36Speaker 2: our show. Obviously, if you're a fan of this podcast
- 1:39Speaker 2: and you're in Colorado Springs, the second Friday of the
- 1:41Speaker 2: month is probably the night you're going to come out
- 1:43Speaker 2: to the Peak Improv Theater. So we wanted to showcase
- 1:46Speaker 2: a couple of the people involved in the show that
- 1:49Speaker 2: we absolutely adore. That is the flagship show of that
- 1:52Speaker 2: second Friday. It's improv with puppets. It's one of the
- 1:56Speaker 2: funniest shows that the theater features some of the most
- 1:59Speaker 2: talented improvisers, and we are so fortunate that Ben and
- 2:03Speaker 2: Amanda said.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Yes, let's do that.
- 2:06Speaker 2: We'd be down for that, and they did fantastic I
- 2:09Speaker 2: cannot wait for you to listen to this episode. Also,
- 2:12Speaker 2: thank you to a very special guest who showed up
- 2:14Speaker 2: during this not going to spoil it so that it's
- 2:16Speaker 2: a surprise, but thank you to that guest. And of
- 2:19Speaker 2: course eternally thank you to Chris and Jen of this
- 2:23Speaker 2: very parish. Without them, these live shows just wouldn't be
- 2:27Speaker 2: happening if Chris and Jen are on a couple fewer episodes,
- 2:30Speaker 2: a couple fewer lineups this year. It's because they're putting
- 2:34Speaker 2: so much work into making these live shows happen. So
- 2:38Speaker 2: if you see Chris and Jen this year, remember to
- 2:40Speaker 2: thank them. So this is the audio from our Witcher
- 2:43Speaker 2: live episode. It's mostly pretty solid. We have minimal technical
- 2:47Speaker 2: problems this time, just because of how I put together
- 2:51Speaker 2: the video for this episode. There are a couple of
- 2:53Speaker 2: areas where the audio gets a little echoey, but it
- 2:56Speaker 2: should just be for a couple of mens and then
- 2:58Speaker 2: it settles down. I'm learning, I'm growing. I doubt it'll
- 3:02Speaker 2: happen next month, Maybe it will. Speaking of the video,
- 3:06Speaker 2: you can check out the full video of this live
- 3:10Speaker 2: recording over at patreon dot com forward slash Gate Leapers.
- 3:16Speaker 2: It's the full seventy five minute show presented uninterrupted, and
- 3:20Speaker 2: you can get access to that for just four bucks
- 3:22Speaker 2: a month, as well as now a couple years worth
- 3:25Speaker 2: of video episodes, mostly from the studio. But those live
- 3:29Speaker 2: ones are going to start stacking up pretty rapidly throughout
- 3:33Speaker 2: the year. So if you feel like this podcast is
- 3:35Speaker 2: worth four bucks a month, if we if we kind
- 3:37Speaker 2: of bring roughly a couple bucks worth of entertainment per episode,
- 3:42Speaker 2: not to mention the entire back catalog, then do you
- 3:45Speaker 2: consider supporting us over on Patreon. It all goes back
- 3:49Speaker 2: into making this podcast bigger, better paying the brilliant comedians
- 3:53Speaker 2: who join us on lineups. That's what all of your
- 3:56Speaker 2: money goes towards. Only about five percent of listeners supporters
- 4:00Speaker 2: on Patreon, So if you do decide to support us
- 4:03Speaker 2: for four bucks a month, know that you are paying
- 4:05Speaker 2: it forward for others. You can be like, Wow, my
- 4:08Speaker 2: four dollars represents twenty listeners listening to this and that's
- 4:11Speaker 2: that's pretty cool, kind of like buying a ticket for
- 4:14Speaker 2: someone else at the show, right, Like you want them
- 4:16Speaker 2: to enjoy the thing, So you're going to give a
- 4:19Speaker 2: bit back. Our next live shows are on February thirteenth
- 4:22Speaker 2: and March thirteenth, which is nice and easy to remember,
- 4:25Speaker 2: and I'll reveal in this intro the themes for those
- 4:29Speaker 2: shows will be rom Comms and Pokemon. So we are
- 4:32Speaker 2: doing rom Comms on February thirteenth, on Valentine's Day EVE,
- 4:36Speaker 2: and then we are doing Pokemon on March thirteenth. A
- 4:39Speaker 2: favorite fandom here at Pandemonium is Pokemon, so I think
- 4:43Speaker 2: it's it's about time we did it live. So if
- 4:46Speaker 2: you're based in Colorado Springs, get your tickets for those
- 4:48Speaker 2: shows at peakimprov dot com or from the link in
- 4:52Speaker 2: the show notes. I'll be back with a little chat
- 4:55Speaker 2: at the end of this, but for now, please enjoy
- 4:58Speaker 2: the season six premiere, the live premiere of Pandemonium.
- 5:02Speaker 3: It's the Witcher Live.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Hello, and welcome to Pandemonium, the pop culture game show
- 5:26Speaker 2: that shines a spotlight onto everyone's favorite fandoms. I'm your
- 5:30Speaker 2: games master and leader of the Wild Hunt, which means
- 5:33Speaker 2: something very rude in Cockney rhyming slam slang. I'll use
- 5:38Speaker 2: that one in the edit. Matt Watson.
- 5:41Speaker 3: But a game, oh, thank you so much, Thank you
- 5:43Speaker 3: so much.
- 5:45Speaker 2: But a games master needs games, and games need players crucially,
- 5:48Speaker 2: so please welcome our first team. She is our resident panelist,
- 5:52Speaker 2: a podcaster and comedian who works in STEM, which today
- 5:56Speaker 2: stands for Salvage, Treasure and Eliminate Monsters.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Give it up for Audra Stephenson.
- 6:05Speaker 1: I've put a knife on my side, but then I
- 6:07Speaker 1: put it on the wrong side so you couldn't see
- 6:09Speaker 1: it when I walked out, and so I had to
- 6:11Speaker 1: call it out. It's less cool.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Hi Matt and joining Audra.
- 6:16Speaker 2: He is a musician, improviser and puppetea, so I better
- 6:20Speaker 2: be on my best behavior as he has the ability
- 6:22Speaker 2: to change the direction of shows by sticking his hand
- 6:25Speaker 2: right up there make some noise. So Ben, Luna, fantastic.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Welcome Audra, Welcome Ben. How are you both doing awesome?
- 6:42Speaker 1: I'm doing great.
- 6:43Speaker 4: I passed the trial of the grasses between shows a
- 6:47Speaker 4: great time.
- 6:48Speaker 3: I shout on my cape, but I'm gonna get through it.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Oh fantastic. Two different energies, brilliant stuff.
- 6:55Speaker 2: So I've got to ask up top because it is
- 6:57Speaker 2: our first format point.
- 6:59Speaker 5: Ben, you are fine of the Witcher, oh somewhat perfect.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:05Speaker 5: So what it happened was was that I had a
- 7:07Speaker 5: lot of friends who were in the Witcher growing up,
- 7:09Speaker 5: I wasn't allowed to play it because of content. Oh yes,
- 7:13Speaker 5: yeah you can. Fuck yeah, you can primarily do that.
- 7:17Speaker 5: That's a big part of the game. And so I
- 7:21Speaker 5: absorbed it through friends and consuming let's plays and before
- 7:26Speaker 5: this to prepare and refresh myself because I've never really
- 7:29Speaker 5: played through an entire game. I watched half of a
- 7:32Speaker 5: couple explainer VIDs.
- 7:33Speaker 3: That's all you need, that's all you need.
- 7:35Speaker 1: That's plenty.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Yeah, it's tons.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Okay, we got half of a couple of explain of
- 7:39Speaker 2: its welter, what about yourself?
- 7:42Speaker 1: I really like the Witcher.
- 7:44Speaker 4: I played The Witcher three, which is the one that
- 7:47Speaker 4: most people know, and I did read some of the
- 7:50Speaker 4: books as well, because I'm a big nerd.
- 7:54Speaker 3: That was part of some of the explainer VIDs.
- 7:56Speaker 5: There is a girl from Poland and she read them
- 7:58Speaker 5: in Polish and she was kind of talking about it
- 8:00Speaker 5: like it was the Bible.
- 8:01Speaker 2: And I connected with that because that's what you were
- 8:07Speaker 2: enjoying as a child. We couldn't, and instead I was
- 8:10Speaker 2: enjoying a different thing with about graphic gore. Yes, separate sex, yeah, sodomy. Yeah,
- 8:18Speaker 2: it's in there, it's in that. It's in there.
- 8:20Speaker 3: It's actually some say it's from there, excellent Bible humor.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Uh yeah, so I think you'll make a you'll make
- 8:30Speaker 2: a good team, pretty pretty balanced in terms of knowledge.
- 8:32Speaker 3: I love it.
- 8:34Speaker 2: It says here any follow up questions, but I don't
- 8:36Speaker 2: have any. So I'm just going to introduce your teammates. Okay,
- 8:39Speaker 2: you'll need some opponents from a rival animal based school.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Let's meet them. She is a regular panelist, an improviser,
- 8:46Speaker 2: a stick horse, and a tune titan. She's a fan
- 8:49Speaker 2: of British comedy, but let's see if she's a fan
- 8:51Speaker 2: of Polish fantasy.
- 8:52Speaker 3: It's Julia Bosei.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Yes, oh my goodness, oh my god, look at this.
- 9:06Speaker 5: Good feather.
- 9:08Speaker 2: And she is an improviser, puppeteer, and counselor who specializes
- 9:13Speaker 2: in all of the neuro divergence you'll see over the
- 9:15Speaker 2: next seventy five minutes.
- 9:16Speaker 3: It's Amanda Bonnets.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Yeah, it's also Dagger. I hope I pronounced your surname right.
- 9:28Speaker 3: That's okay to say.
- 9:34Speaker 2: That's such a good point, and it's on theme and
- 9:35Speaker 2: it was planned. Welcome, Julia, Welcome Amanda. How are you
- 9:39Speaker 2: both doing?
- 9:40Speaker 6: Good?
- 9:41Speaker 7: Good?
- 9:42Speaker 3: Good? Excited Julia let's talk about your costume.
- 9:44Speaker 8: Yeah, so it turns out I've never drawn a beard
- 9:48Speaker 8: on myself before, are we No?
- 9:49Speaker 3: I did?
- 9:52Speaker 8: I think it went better in college.
- 9:55Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 9:56Speaker 3: It turns out.
- 9:56Speaker 8: That beard hair grows like usually in one direction as
- 10:00Speaker 8: you moved throughout the face, as opposed to just like
- 10:02Speaker 8: confetti type of stipling, which is what I went with.
- 10:06Speaker 8: But uh, yeah, did that did his sandpiper looks like.
- 10:10Speaker 3: A little bit of eyeliner. Uh huh, not doing so great?
- 10:14Speaker 3: And then the hat that is almost like his.
- 10:16Speaker 8: And then uh, robe that I thought was a cloak,
- 10:19Speaker 8: but turns out it has sleeves, but I'm not gonna
- 10:22Speaker 8: wear them.
- 10:25Speaker 2: It's purely a cloak. This evening. Yeah, fantastic stuff. And Amanda,
- 10:28Speaker 2: should we talk about the DACA?
- 10:30Speaker 5: Sure?
- 10:31Speaker 1: Yeah, it's in my bus line. Very good, very effective,
- 10:36Speaker 1: it's horizontal.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Fantastic all ready for the Witcher. And speaking of the Witcher, Amanda,
- 10:44Speaker 2: you are you a fan?
- 10:45Speaker 1: I am a mild to moderate.
- 10:48Speaker 3: Fan, Okay, mild to moderate, And.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I have played the Witcher three like once a year.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Since once a yeah, yes, mile to motivate.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Yes, I don't, I know nothing.
- 11:05Speaker 10: I do the fun ADHD thing where I get really
- 11:07Speaker 10: hyper fixated on it for about one hundred hours a
- 11:10Speaker 10: year and then I forget everything that happens.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Yeah, totally. I mean fortunately, I'm barely going to test
- 11:15Speaker 2: any of it. The main thing is that is the
- 11:17Speaker 2: passion for it, and I think you have it if
- 11:19Speaker 2: that's your go to ADHD game of like, I'm gonna
- 11:22Speaker 2: sink a hundred hours of time into this. That's fantastic. Yeah, okay,
- 11:26Speaker 2: great stuff. Okay, what about you, Julia? Do you sink
- 11:28Speaker 2: a hundred hours a year into the game.
- 11:31Speaker 8: I don't play the game, but I love that you
- 11:35Speaker 8: mentioned the ADHD hundred hours the thing, because that's what
- 11:37Speaker 8: my hundred hours were spent on watching all of the
- 11:40Speaker 8: series this past week, because I've seen I had fallen
- 11:44Speaker 8: in love with The Witcher when it came out, and
- 11:46Speaker 8: I saw the first two seasons and then it dropped
- 11:48Speaker 8: off and oh hi husband, Yeah, I watched.
- 11:50Speaker 1: The third and fourth season.
- 11:53Speaker 9: Away.
- 11:54Speaker 8: But you were in Hawaii, so it seems fair. It's okay,
- 12:00Speaker 8: it was it was for work. It wasn't just him
- 12:02Speaker 8: leaving me alone.
- 12:04Speaker 3: No one thought that.
- 12:07Speaker 8: But yeah, so definitely got really into the show, uh
- 12:11Speaker 8: this past week and have a lot of strong feelings
- 12:14Speaker 8: and muses and things, and I'm excited to spend the
- 12:18Speaker 8: whole rest of this time talking about it.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Excellent, excellent. Well, I'm very impressed that you watched four seasons.
- 12:24Speaker 3: If the Witcher in not just the four seasons, I'm
- 12:27Speaker 3: so sorry.
- 12:28Speaker 8: I also watched the two animated films, as well as
- 12:32Speaker 8: the movie about the group of ragtag young adults, the Rats.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Wait, so no one else to see the fourth season? Yep,
- 12:47Speaker 3: that's safe to say.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Well, I think you'll make a fantastic team, and I
- 12:52Speaker 2: think some of the stuff from the one hundred Hours
- 12:53Speaker 2: will come back, Amanda, I think it will.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Oh good.
- 12:59Speaker 1: It's good to hear from you, because I'm not so confident.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Okay, Teams, you've been paired with a fellow Witcher to
- 13:06Speaker 2: slay the Ultimate Monster, a person from Great Britain. So
- 13:10Speaker 2: I'd like each pair to come up with a Witcher
- 13:13Speaker 2: themed team name.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Please. Let's start with Udra and Ben.
- 13:16Speaker 5: What if you got I've got one, Rivia a new one.
- 13:22Speaker 5: That's good, right, because that's where he's from, Daryl, I
- 13:27Speaker 5: remember that part ye first half of the explainer VID's
- 13:31Speaker 5: pain off. I have I have two Biggin's one is
- 13:37Speaker 5: just hey, Siri, but spelled but it's spelled.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Oh you may mind go off? That was the hope.
- 13:53Speaker 4: Well, then my second option because if that caused too
- 13:56Speaker 4: many problems, I think I think we both have big
- 13:59Speaker 4: heart excuse, and so instead of care more and just
- 14:03Speaker 4: care more, you spelled it with a K or I
- 14:09Speaker 4: was gonna.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Spell it phenetically just care more.
- 14:12Speaker 5: I would also point out that we're also really fun
- 14:16Speaker 5: and kind of funny, and so maybe something like are
- 14:18Speaker 5: do you not entertained?
- 14:22Speaker 1: From the game?
- 14:22Speaker 11: Those explained videos are really like firing yeah flash.
- 14:27Speaker 10: Cards, feeling really confident, feeling If that's cheating, I'll be
- 14:33Speaker 10: on it.
- 14:33Speaker 1: I like I do, like, are do you not entertained?
- 14:35Speaker 3: I feel good about that? Okay, that's great, that's great.
- 14:41Speaker 5: Glad reference Yeah, sure man, more like the Witcher bit.
- 14:48Speaker 3: I am garyl.
- 14:52Speaker 5: Like in the video game, Yes, in the video and
- 14:54Speaker 5: Gladiator the movie.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Can I hear that again?
- 14:58Speaker 3: I am girl the Yeah Wind's house like listening to
- 15:05Speaker 3: a mirror. Perfect.
- 15:09Speaker 2: So we've got odd you not entertained? Very clever versus.
- 15:13Speaker 10: Okay you should read I only have three Tulia has
- 15:17Speaker 10: a dictionary over there.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Okay, So obviously. First, the wild cunt is.
- 15:26Speaker 12: Cool.
- 15:28Speaker 1: This what's fun. I'm witcher, I hardly know.
- 15:30Speaker 3: We're now you're just taking jokes from later in the show. Sorry.
- 15:35Speaker 10: And then last, but not least, full testicles in a
- 15:40Speaker 10: reference to the conjunction of the spears.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Yes, full test oh, full.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Test Okay, sorry, now thought the conjunction of the spears testicles.
- 15:53Speaker 3: That's very that is a very good reference. It's good.
- 15:59Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, okay.
- 16:04Speaker 3: So I don't have a bowl of jizz, like, uh,
- 16:07Speaker 3: such a shame. This is a reference to when we did.
- 16:10Speaker 8: The Star Wars episode and Audre had a bunch of
- 16:14Speaker 8: team names in a bowl that were all jizz themed.
- 16:16Speaker 8: So bowl of jizz, I don't have that. But I
- 16:19Speaker 8: have uh different thoughts. So piss instead of tris or.
- 16:29Speaker 3: I think that's really strong.
- 16:30Speaker 1: You know what you guys to say?
- 16:34Speaker 8: A strug a boner instead of strug a bar. Okay,
- 16:40Speaker 8: Roach girls instead of horse girls, because Roach is the
- 16:42Speaker 8: horse and I have a thing about the fact that
- 16:47Speaker 8: his name is mouse sack.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Sure, what kind of thing?
- 16:52Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 16:52Speaker 3: What kind of what is the nature?
- 16:54Speaker 8: When I was watching the TV show, I couldn't get
- 16:57Speaker 8: over it. So now every now and then I'll just
- 16:59Speaker 8: turn to my husband be like, did you know his
- 17:02Speaker 8: name is mouse Sack?
- 17:06Speaker 3: So his name is MoU Sak is one of the
- 17:08Speaker 3: Mickey mouse Sack is another one rat Sack.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Endless options because I but.
- 17:15Speaker 8: Now that I know that no one's watched season four,
- 17:18Speaker 8: all the references are bad. Because I was like, rat
- 17:21Speaker 8: pack are Afluza, fart jazz heroes and child surprised.
- 17:39Speaker 1: It's just ridiculous.
- 17:41Speaker 3: It is a ridiculous thing, the child of surprised. So
- 17:45Speaker 3: those are my I really like your first.
- 17:50Speaker 1: There's so time efficient.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Over we're going with we are going with Wild Cunts.
- 17:55Speaker 14: I like it a while, absolutely fantastic for s thank
- 17:58Speaker 14: you for letting me.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Yet another sea bomb in the podcast feed.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Okay, how does that do for sponsorship?
- 18:07Speaker 3: Very badly, Boner you could have got or something. If
- 18:15Speaker 3: it's struggle Boner.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Could have been like a blue shoe or yeah, we
- 18:18Speaker 2: could have got sponsorship with that for sure, But with
- 18:21Speaker 2: Wild Cunt No, there's just no company. But it's fantastic
- 18:25Speaker 2: and we're all having a good time.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Okay, especially Matt.
- 18:30Speaker 2: That's right, So we have are do you entertain? Are
- 18:34Speaker 2: do you not entertained? Versus the wild cuntry.
- 18:40Speaker 3: Whoa, this is cool, solid?
- 18:46Speaker 8: Yeah, right now, Matt held a knife point visual Audra
- 18:51Speaker 8: and Amanda.
- 18:52Speaker 1: It's a girl's girl. Yeah, okay, proceed.
- 18:56Speaker 2: All right if you're listening to this and thinking, which
- 19:00Speaker 2: I hardly know her, and it.
- 19:02Speaker 11: Was like, right after this, I've.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Gotta step up my game, don't worry his order with
- 19:11Speaker 2: a little segment we like to call passing knowledge.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Give it up for.
- 19:17Speaker 4: The Witcher began as a series of fantasy novels by
- 19:19Speaker 4: Polish author Andre Sepkowski and as an American.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Do I get bonus points for saying his name?
- 19:25Speaker 15: Right?
- 19:26Speaker 1: I shouldn't.
- 19:27Speaker 5: Ugh.
- 19:29Speaker 4: The series revolves around the eponymous Witcher, Gerald of Rivia.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Where's Rivia? It doesn't matter.
- 19:36Speaker 4: Witchers are monster hunters, given superhuman abilities for the purpose
- 19:39Speaker 4: of killing dangerous creatures.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Like ghouls, trolls, or Joe Rogan. Ironically, he's both.
- 19:49Speaker 4: Garalt has a wife who's not his wife named Jennifer,
- 19:52Speaker 4: a daughter who's not his daughter named Siri, and a
- 19:55Speaker 4: dandelion who's not a flower called Dandelion.
- 19:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:59Speaker 4: The Witcher inspir a series of extremely successful video games,
- 20:03Speaker 4: with the fourth release coming theoretically at some point next year,
- 20:08Speaker 4: So if you need me in twenty twenty seven, no
- 20:12Speaker 4: you don't. Netflix also released a show based on The Witcher,
- 20:17Speaker 4: starring Hollywood hunk and absolute mega nerd Henry Cavill.
- 20:22Speaker 1: There's not a joke here. I just need us all
- 20:25Speaker 1: to know that he's one of us.
- 20:28Speaker 4: So let's start a news save for the hundredth time,
- 20:32Speaker 4: and let's play some pandemonium.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Yeah, thank you so much, Audra.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Just before we get to today's games, I've asked each
- 20:39Speaker 2: player to bring in a muse, something that inspires them
- 20:42Speaker 2: or something they love from this particular fandom. The Witcher
- 20:45Speaker 2: is inspiring to me because I also like to pump
- 20:48Speaker 2: myself full of chemicals and take swings and trolls. Gotta
- 20:51Speaker 2: quit social media this year, Julia, We'll start with you.
- 20:55Speaker 2: What's inspiring you from the world of the Witcher?
- 20:57Speaker 3: Again? Didn't know I was the only one that watch the.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Rest rest.
- 21:06Speaker 8: It's actually not It's not about the rats, but it's
- 21:08Speaker 8: about how serious portrayed in the show. As I was
- 21:12Speaker 8: watching it again, I was struck by how much I
- 21:16Speaker 8: relate to Siri and that she tries so hard but
- 21:20Speaker 8: she fails, and how relatable that is and how just
- 21:25Speaker 8: like seeing someone who has you know, it's the gifted
- 21:29Speaker 8: kid program syndrome of like you have all the potential
- 21:32Speaker 8: in the world, but you might fuck up a lot.
- 21:35Speaker 3: And I like seeing that in someone.
- 21:38Speaker 8: Who you're supposed to be, Like, this is the all
- 21:40Speaker 8: powerful person that everyone's trying to get and she's just a.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Little fuck up. Yeah.
- 21:46Speaker 2: That is a really good character trait of Sarri that
- 21:48Speaker 2: like she's grounded, she's a real person.
- 21:50Speaker 3: She makes mistakes. Yeah, yeah, it's not her fault. She
- 21:53Speaker 3: grew up in privilege. No, it's not her fault. She's
- 21:56Speaker 3: the chosen one. Yeah, that too.
- 21:58Speaker 8: She's a chosen one that like I cannot hate, which
- 22:02Speaker 8: is really.
- 22:03Speaker 2: You know, rare, and maybe that inspires you to you're
- 22:06Speaker 2: the chosen one of your own life, so you don't
- 22:08Speaker 2: hate his No, no, no, not the chosen one of
- 22:11Speaker 2: your own life.
- 22:12Speaker 8: Nah.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Okay, we're working on it, but no, not yet. I'll
- 22:17Speaker 3: ask in a couple years. Yeah, yeah, okay, cool, twenty.
- 22:20Speaker 8: Seven maybe maybe playing the water Yeah, well, fantastic.
- 22:24Speaker 2: That's very inspiring series, a great character, and that's a
- 22:27Speaker 2: great character trait, and I think you're secretly inspired by
- 22:30Speaker 2: that deep down, even if you're not saying that right now.
- 22:33Speaker 3: I am inspired by it for sure, just just not
- 22:35Speaker 3: embodying it. It's not yeah, yeah, exactly, I'm inspired. I'm
- 22:38Speaker 3: not embodying it. Love It twenty twenty seven.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Okay, let's move on over to your wild cut the
- 22:45Speaker 2: wild Cunt teammate feel so terrible, turning to two females
- 22:51Speaker 2: presenting people.
- 22:51Speaker 3: In saying cut repeated British.
- 22:54Speaker 14: Yeah, I know, but we're currently on American soil. No,
- 22:57Speaker 14: I know you actually care, Amanda. What's inspiring you from
- 23:03Speaker 14: the Witcher?
- 23:04Speaker 3: Gwent?
- 23:05Speaker 1: Nice by fuck with Gwent?
- 23:08Speaker 10: Yeah, we got some, we got some Gwent lovers here wenteads.
- 23:13Speaker 3: I yearned to.
- 23:14Speaker 10: Be an eighty three year old woman and have a
- 23:16Speaker 10: physical copy of Gwent and know how to play it
- 23:19Speaker 10: and just be in a nursing home, like losing my
- 23:21Speaker 10: goddamn mind, just being like.
- 23:26Speaker 1: I want to do that. I want to do that
- 23:28Speaker 1: so bad.
- 23:29Speaker 10: I got so good at it in my three hundred hours.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Believe that you.
- 23:34Speaker 10: Oh my god, it's like magic the Gathering if it
- 23:39Speaker 10: made more sense, and you have to talk to people,
- 23:42Speaker 10: so it's.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Like a game within the game.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a mini game, but it's it's.
- 23:46Speaker 10: It's it's interesting because there's a good amount of skill,
- 23:50Speaker 10: but you also have to go collect cards for your
- 23:52Speaker 10: deck in the game.
- 23:53Speaker 1: It's so fun. Yes, it's.
- 23:56Speaker 10: It was perfect for evading the main quest when I
- 23:59Speaker 10: got overwhelmed.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Yep, it's a fantastic diversion. Great shout out to Gwent's
- 24:05Speaker 2: I would hope that with one hundred hour play through,
- 24:07Speaker 2: your your clocking in some good time in Gwent there,
- 24:10Speaker 2: So I mean your you're right idea that being in
- 24:13Speaker 2: a nursing home with a physical copy of Gwent. That
- 24:15Speaker 2: could happen sooner if if you wanted, you could buy
- 24:17Speaker 2: a cop physical copy of Gwent.
- 24:19Speaker 5: And yeah, they need friends, they learn how to play
- 24:24Speaker 5: any game.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Yeah, awesome, I'm going to go to some.
- 24:29Speaker 3: So inspiring working with the all the community. That's awesome.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Okay, so let's move one over to add you not entertained,
- 24:38Speaker 2: and let's start with Ben. What's inspiring you from the Witcher?
- 24:42Speaker 5: I like, primarily like how the first game storyline for
- 24:47Speaker 5: the most part, I think is a lot.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Like Shrek, and in general it's very Shrek like.
- 24:54Speaker 5: The entire storyline of the Witcher in that it's like
- 24:56Speaker 5: a conglomeration of fairy tales that are all mishmashed together. Okay,
- 25:00Speaker 5: at the end, it's kind of about like finding your
- 25:02Speaker 5: own community and how like being feared sort of is
- 25:06Speaker 5: what creates the monster and it's things can become a
- 25:09Speaker 5: self fulfilling prophecy in a way of like the the
- 25:12Speaker 5: ideas of like all of the enemies like create themselves.
- 25:18Speaker 1: It's just like it's always Shrek again. The Witch is
- 25:21Speaker 1: a lot more deep than I thought.
- 25:22Speaker 3: Question.
- 25:23Speaker 8: Yeah, is dandelion donkey Danny Lion's donkey and he makes
- 25:28Speaker 8: the waffle from Shrek.
- 25:31Speaker 3: We love Shrek.
- 25:32Speaker 2: We genuinely we love I've never thought about the Witcher
- 25:37Speaker 2: like that all Shrek that deeply.
- 25:40Speaker 3: I love it.
- 25:40Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I'm still here crazy about Shrek. I even
- 25:48Speaker 5: love Shrek four. Wow even yeah, put me in.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Shrek four have Liam Hemsworth and yeah Shrek for I'm
- 25:59Speaker 1: not watching?
- 26:00Speaker 3: Yeah, not interested.
- 26:02Speaker 5: Like a foot thing in track four there's a whole
- 26:05Speaker 5: foot thing and we could get into that.
- 26:10Speaker 3: I don't think that Witch has no the Witch does
- 26:12Speaker 3: have Yeah it does.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Oh yeah, they don't show feet in the show.
- 26:18Speaker 10: Sorry, only you are listen now, like you wasted your.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Time where's the feet ut Tarantino over here? He directed
- 26:34Speaker 2: Trek Okay least, but no waste Odro. What's inspiring you
- 26:39Speaker 2: from the witch?
- 26:40Speaker 4: What's inspiring me is this little figuringe of Siri right here.
- 26:45Speaker 4: This is a Christmas present to me from a friend Jason,
- 26:49Speaker 4: who three D printed it and painted it. He like,
- 26:51Speaker 4: found the model online three D printed it. And the
- 26:55Speaker 4: most inspiring thing to me about this is whoever sculpted this.
- 26:59Speaker 4: My my friend did not sculpt this part is this ass.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Right up? Ass cheeks. They did not sculpt pants on
- 27:10Speaker 1: this ass.
- 27:11Speaker 4: It's just cheeks, And that.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Inspires me to go to the gym every.
- 27:20Speaker 4: Day to do my squats, to get on that stair
- 27:24Speaker 4: climber so that I can have I can be cheeked
- 27:27Speaker 4: up like the Figuring Okay series.
- 27:31Speaker 3: And adult in the in the in the video games right.
- 27:34Speaker 2: By the time of figuring, Yeah, the time of this figuring. Yes,
- 27:38Speaker 2: you can objectify the figuring.
- 27:39Speaker 3: Ye good, Yeah, it's totally fine. Good she's of age.
- 27:44Speaker 3: I think someone else said it's not my word. I can,
- 27:50Speaker 3: but I'm now scattered the wild.
- 27:55Speaker 8: You can whishper it apparently whispering either you're referencing, or
- 28:01Speaker 8: I'll keep.
- 28:03Speaker 3: So just for the record, or your music is cheeked.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Ups therey, Yes, I stand by it.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Okay, Well, I'm feeling very inspired by our players muses.
- 28:14Speaker 3: Are we ready for some games? Yeah, play some games?
- 28:18Speaker 2: Okay, teams, Let's hop on the back of roach and
- 28:20Speaker 2: glitch up the side of a mountain into round one.
- 28:27Speaker 3: Wow music.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Round one is our version of pictionary that we call
- 28:34Speaker 2: ordinary and it's anything but that was good. Thank you,
- 28:38Speaker 2: thank you. Yes, there's a lot of slant puns in here.
- 28:44Speaker 3: In this game.
- 28:44Speaker 2: I will give each player the two word name of
- 28:46Speaker 2: a junk item that you might find in your inventory
- 28:49Speaker 2: in the Witcher three or many other popular RPG video games.
- 28:54Speaker 2: That player will have three opportunities to make a continuous
- 28:57Speaker 2: three second soundscape for their teammate to guess the item
- 29:00Speaker 2: they've been given.
- 29:02Speaker 3: The rules.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Because you're probably wondering, no words in your sound, please,
- 29:05Speaker 2: I don't want to hear any words. You will be disqualified.
- 29:08Speaker 2: The three second soundscape can be made up of different sounds,
- 29:10Speaker 2: but try and make them all bleed into one continuous sound.
- 29:13Speaker 2: This is a podcast medium. The teammate can make one
- 29:18Speaker 2: guess after each sound get the guests wrong, and we
- 29:20Speaker 2: can hear another sound, which can either be another attempt
- 29:24Speaker 2: at the same sound or a new sound entirely. There
- 29:27Speaker 2: are two This isn't very ADHD friendly. There are two
- 29:30Speaker 2: words to each item, so I'll give you a point
- 29:33Speaker 2: for each correct word you get, but I'll give you
- 29:35Speaker 2: a bonus point if you get them both on the
- 29:37Speaker 2: first sound.
- 29:38Speaker 8: So each each thing we have to guess is two
- 29:42Speaker 8: words that is correct.
- 29:44Speaker 4: Got it.
- 29:44Speaker 1: That's like serie figurine. You'd get a point for either word.
- 29:48Speaker 8: Okay, and exactly we cannot make gestures or we can
- 29:52Speaker 8: make gestures.
- 29:53Speaker 3: No gestures, but maybe on the final sound you can
- 29:55Speaker 3: make gesture.
- 29:57Speaker 2: I'm going to need that. I feel like I'm going
- 29:59Speaker 2: to need that. Yeah, okay, well it's a good job.
- 30:01Speaker 2: You're gonna need that, Oldra, because you're rope first making
- 30:03Speaker 2: a sound. You're gonna make it for Ben to guess. Okay, so, Oldra,
- 30:07Speaker 2: could you close your eyes turn away from this. We're
- 30:09Speaker 2: gonna show no Ben, close your eyes, Aldra, you're gonna
- 30:14Speaker 2: be making the sounds. Oldra's item is healing potion.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Okay, thank you, And whenever you're ready, Oldra, make that sounds.
- 30:25Speaker 3: The glue healing potion. Yeah, three points. Aren't you not entertained?
- 30:35Speaker 5: I want to both here? Yeah, but then I was like,
- 30:38Speaker 5: there's no way I mean to get this over.
- 30:40Speaker 1: I appreciate your dedication to logistics.
- 30:43Speaker 3: I'm high on the ape index, but not that high.
- 30:46Speaker 3: How long your arms are? Oh? Thank you? Some confusion.
- 30:50Speaker 3: They looked in my eyes directly. I fear does mean
- 30:56Speaker 3: you're closer to the planet of the apes, is what
- 30:58Speaker 3: I thought.
- 30:59Speaker 5: That's right, and bring me back for that one too,
- 31:01Speaker 5: by the way, Love Paula.
- 31:04Speaker 2: That means they got three points. Yeah, fantastic. It's not true,
- 31:14Speaker 2: just because you know this is going out.
- 31:15Speaker 5: On going around three points trace Chace.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Okay, so up next we're gonna have Julia making a
- 31:27Speaker 2: sound for Amanda. So it makes sense. Julia's item is seashell.
- 31:35Speaker 1: That's reassuring.
- 31:36Speaker 7: Ah, yeah, okay, that's your that's your sound.
- 31:48Speaker 3: That's your sound. Any ideas, Amanda what that sound could be?
- 31:54Speaker 1: I'm processing so much.
- 32:00Speaker 3: Transported a silver horn.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Oh no, it's not a silver horn. Julia, would you
- 32:09Speaker 2: like to make a second sound?
- 32:11Speaker 8: And this time I still just cannot make I can't
- 32:14Speaker 8: do like rhyming words.
- 32:15Speaker 3: I can't know you could try.
- 32:19Speaker 2: You could try to just get in one point and
- 32:21Speaker 2: doing one of the words maybe and.
- 32:23Speaker 16: Sure, okay, okay, awfully similar to the first one.
- 32:39Speaker 5: I reckon my God movie coming out to get.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Not a common a rainstick.
- 33:04Speaker 2: We're kind of closer. We're kind of closer this time, Julia.
- 33:07Speaker 2: You can you can make a you can use your hands,
- 33:10Speaker 2: you can make gestures as you make your sound.
- 33:18Speaker 1: A magic con.
- 33:24Speaker 2: That's all three sounds and all three guesses. The actual
- 33:26Speaker 2: answer was show the main junk that you pick up.
- 33:33Speaker 3: You can find it.
- 33:35Speaker 1: The rats never you're in a great seashell sound. I'm
- 33:44Speaker 1: sorry I didn't recognize it.
- 33:46Speaker 3: I'm offended for us, this is Matt's.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Perfect What do we think do we give one point
- 33:53Speaker 2: for conch Yes, yeah, okay, one point yeah, one point.
- 33:57Speaker 3: For con.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Car the wild card.
- 34:07Speaker 3: It'd be better for our ads. We'll think about it.
- 34:10Speaker 3: We'll put it under consideration.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Yeah, just crying.
- 34:16Speaker 3: Okay. This time we have Ben making sounds for Audrey. Okay.
- 34:20Speaker 3: Ben's item is a rusty sword.
- 34:23Speaker 8: The thing you gotta know about Ben is he's a
- 34:25Speaker 8: sound machine.
- 34:26Speaker 3: Oh you're a sound machine. I don't know about that.
- 34:28Speaker 2: We'll see, well, let's let's find out what this sound
- 34:31Speaker 2: machine can do. Audrey, you can look now, okay, thank you, Ben,
- 34:33Speaker 2: whenever you already make.
- 34:34Speaker 5: Your no, no gestures, no gestures for this first one. Okay, okay,
- 34:44Speaker 5: Oh okay, great soundscape.
- 34:50Speaker 4: Feels feels like weapon. I'm gonna go sword. Okay, Okay,
- 34:56Speaker 4: I'm trying to think back of my inventory.
- 34:57Speaker 3: What is the nature of the sword, what is the
- 35:00Speaker 3: what are they like?
- 35:01Speaker 1: Broken sword?
- 35:02Speaker 2: That is an official guess, and it's not the word
- 35:04Speaker 2: we're looking for, but you do have swords sword for
- 35:06Speaker 2: one point. Okay, So Ben, you now have two more
- 35:10Speaker 2: sounds to get one word, so you can hone in
- 35:13Speaker 2: on that word.
- 35:13Speaker 3: Okay, and no gestures. Still still no gestures for this
- 35:16Speaker 3: gestures okay, and how do I communicate? Okay, all right.
- 35:23Speaker 17: Free.
- 35:28Speaker 3: Yeah clang ah an old sword. We're getting close, We're
- 35:37Speaker 3: getting closer. Okay.
- 35:38Speaker 1: We need to go through the rolodex in my mind
- 35:40Speaker 1: of all the stuff I've sold to various merchants.
- 35:45Speaker 3: Ben, this time you can make a gesture for your
- 35:47Speaker 3: final sound.
- 35:48Speaker 18: Okay, I have okay, mm hmm, okay, that's what I
- 36:06Speaker 18: got for you.
- 36:08Speaker 1: I'm between two.
- 36:09Speaker 3: You gotta pick one. You have to pick one.
- 36:11Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, because because of the I'll go.
- 36:17Speaker 3: Yeah, Rusty, that's another point. You get to shout out
- 36:25Speaker 3: to W forty.
- 36:26Speaker 2: By the way, Yeah, we've just lost the sponsorship fall
- 36:30Speaker 2: because of saying cunt so much.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Yeah we can say conch.
- 36:34Speaker 3: Maybe we haven't decided yet. Yeah, you should ask first. Yeah,
- 36:39Speaker 3: yeah we should at ye, Matt, you should asks first.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Oh yeah, is it cunt or conch? D w default
- 36:49Speaker 3: what would you prefer? Do you prefer cunt? Talking to
- 36:56Speaker 3: the ladies across from Okay, now I close my eyes.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Yes, because Julia you will be guessing and Amanda will
- 37:04Speaker 2: be making sense.
- 37:05Speaker 3: Amanda's item is pig hide.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Okay, I actually can't see.
- 37:10Speaker 3: Okay, Julia, you can look.
- 37:12Speaker 8: Now this is perfect for the one person that hasn't
- 37:14Speaker 8: played the video game.
- 37:16Speaker 3: Yeah, this is ideal. Yeah, whenever you're ready, Amanda, make
- 37:20Speaker 3: your first sound. Okay, dead pig. Well you're getting one
- 37:38Speaker 3: point because you've got pig.
- 37:39Speaker 8: Okay, because I was gonna guess, like piglet is what
- 37:44Speaker 8: to say? It calls Jennifer and but like that's not
- 37:47Speaker 8: the vibe I'm getting.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Yeah, so good.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Okay, Amanda, if you'd like to make another sound to
- 37:57Speaker 2: try and communicate that.
- 37:58Speaker 5: Okay, and I know this time you weren't doing pig
- 38:12Speaker 5: because we already got that one, and so it's something different.
- 38:15Speaker 5: But I don't know that i've ever like even like
- 38:17Speaker 5: considered that some people can't do a pig sound. And
- 38:22Speaker 5: that's okay, that's there's nothing wrong with up on that.
- 38:25Speaker 3: Yeah, so that had nothing to do with pig. Apparently,
- 38:32Speaker 3: what words are you liking with pigs? Snuffle?
- 38:35Speaker 2: Okay, we're going with snuffle. It's not snuffle, but I
- 38:37Speaker 2: like that, Amanda. This time you can also make a gesture.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Yeah, this will do it. It's gonna check the word
- 38:57Speaker 3: on my board here.
- 39:00Speaker 4: I don't know what anyone's surprised looks are. Meaning that
- 39:03Speaker 4: was perfect to know if.
- 39:07Speaker 3: The pig is the first or the second word, Yeah,
- 39:09Speaker 3: go on, then it's the first word. Is the second
- 39:12Speaker 3: word skin.
- 39:15Speaker 2: It's not the exact word. And I give you the
- 39:17Speaker 2: point for conch, so I'm not going to give you
- 39:19Speaker 2: the point for this.
- 39:21Speaker 3: Pig hide. You were right, you were right, but it's
- 39:25Speaker 3: not exactly right. The vernacular wasn't right.
- 39:28Speaker 8: Okay, good, I was thinking truffle pig for a second,
- 39:30Speaker 8: but I was like, why they have trouble pig and.
- 39:34Speaker 3: That's the starter. Yeah, save you for the stars. All right,
- 39:40Speaker 3: that's the end of round one.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Producer Jen, could you please conjure up the current scores?
- 39:47Speaker 19: Are you not entertained on five points? Let's go and
- 39:52Speaker 19: the potentially conch are on two points?
- 39:55Speaker 3: All right?
- 39:59Speaker 2: Okay, you're all enjoying the show, and applause is about
- 40:02Speaker 2: to break out. Yeah, the sign worked. It's time for
- 40:09Speaker 2: round two. Round two is called barred Trivia, and we
- 40:20Speaker 2: can't play this game without a very special guest, So
- 40:23Speaker 2: please welcome the Peak and prov Theaters, Resident Bard.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Meghan high.
- 40:32Speaker 3: Fantastic.
- 40:33Speaker 5: So in the Witch you would be Meghan Pigskin. That's
- 40:38Speaker 5: a love bit bit of business.
- 40:39Speaker 1: God, that's good.
- 40:40Speaker 3: Oh my god, Megan, how are you doing fantastic?
- 40:44Speaker 2: How are you doing great? Thank you so much for asking.
- 40:47Speaker 2: I don't think they asked me how I was doing,
- 40:49Speaker 2: so thank you so much.
- 40:50Speaker 1: It's because we don't care.
- 40:51Speaker 3: I don't care, Okay, cool, and I don't need to know.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Meghan, you are looking like a fantastic Bard. This is
- 40:58Speaker 2: so Bard cold. Did I love it?
- 41:01Speaker 3: Thank you?
- 41:01Speaker 13: I googled the Witcher images yes and look through that
- 41:10Speaker 13: I had in my closet and this is what I
- 41:12Speaker 13: came up.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Well, it's great, it's fantastic. You're witch already. Yeah, uh okay, Megan,
- 41:19Speaker 3: you're gonna help us out with this game. Is that good?
- 41:21Speaker 20: Yeah?
- 41:21Speaker 3: Fantastic.
- 41:22Speaker 2: So in this game, Megan will sing a four line
- 41:25Speaker 2: clue to a specific name or word from the Witcher franchise. However,
- 41:30Speaker 2: she won't sing the last word in her song, as
- 41:33Speaker 2: that is the answer to the clue. So teams will
- 41:36Speaker 2: take turns hearing a song from Megan, making awkward eye
- 41:39Speaker 2: contact with each other throughout the song so as to
- 41:42Speaker 2: mind meld with each other. At the end of the song,
- 41:45Speaker 2: they must then, at the same time, sing the correct
- 41:48Speaker 2: one word answer, completing the song. If they both sing
- 41:51Speaker 2: the correct answer, they get two points. If one person
- 41:54Speaker 2: sings the correct answer but the other player fails to
- 41:57Speaker 2: coherently mind meld, they get one point. And if all
- 42:00Speaker 2: we hear is nonsense from both players, no points.
- 42:04Speaker 3: But we'll all have a good laugh about it.
- 42:07Speaker 2: So the first song is going to be for Julia
- 42:11Speaker 2: and Amanda. Oh yes, the name, Yeah, it's their team name.
- 42:18Speaker 3: The Wild Cunt.
- 42:20Speaker 2: I'm sorry that it's Wow.
- 42:25Speaker 3: It's like you don't even have respect for us. I don't.
- 42:28Speaker 1: You're ashamed of one.
- 42:28Speaker 3: Of the rules.
- 42:31Speaker 2: So when Meghan, whenever you are ready, could you take
- 42:33Speaker 2: it away? With the first song.
- 42:38Speaker 6: Start learn She's a hunchback. In Netflix pilot cour she
- 42:46Speaker 6: functions as advisor, not senator. The World's one true love.
- 42:52Speaker 3: Oh Witch called.
- 42:55Speaker 2: Y beautiful stuff for two points, beautifully sung by both
- 42:59Speaker 2: Meghan and the team.
- 43:01Speaker 10: Oh lot, smash, I will be taking no further question.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Thousand times smash Yeah, Amanda in your one hundred hour playthroughs,
- 43:13Speaker 2: how much time do you spend with Jennifa?
- 43:16Speaker 10: You know I I think I need to take ownership
- 43:18Speaker 10: that I don't prioritize my time with her.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Enough went.
- 43:26Speaker 3: Win, spend a little more time with her.
- 43:30Speaker 1: You're lost to the car.
- 43:33Speaker 2: Okay, now we are going to have another beautiful ballad,
- 43:36Speaker 2: this time for Udra and Ben.
- 43:38Speaker 3: Are do you not entertained? Are you ready?
- 43:40Speaker 5: Yes?
- 43:41Speaker 3: Take it away?
- 43:43Speaker 6: You have no coin after a foster attack, you hired
- 43:49Speaker 6: a witcher. How to pay them back?
- 43:53Speaker 3: You must give up love and.
- 43:55Speaker 6: Your child eyes and surrender them to the law.
- 44:02Speaker 3: Child of surprise, We'll give you a surprise.
- 44:09Speaker 2: Two points. Child is surprised what we were looking for
- 44:13Speaker 2: the child of surprise. Is that that's the thing Julia find.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it kind of sounds like they forgot to use condoms.
- 44:21Speaker 3: It sounds like a weird like like treat like it.
- 44:24Speaker 8: Sounds like I can't believe.
- 44:30Speaker 3: Abstinence is still the best contraceptive. Sorry what did you say?
- 44:34Speaker 5: But no, I said, I can't believe in a world
- 44:37Speaker 5: of magic that abstinence is still the best contraceptive.
- 44:42Speaker 3: Yeah, you think they have something ages have to get,
- 44:45Speaker 3: you know, like uh, almost like a uteronomy?
- 44:49Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, which is which is are sterile?
- 44:55Speaker 3: And and whiches are barren? The girl's a lot of
- 45:00Speaker 3: I know the words for both of them. Yeah, Ben
- 45:05Speaker 3: was that in the video, Yeah, that was in the
- 45:07Speaker 3: Polish explator.
- 45:11Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 45:11Speaker 5: It was a beautiful young lady explaining the birds and.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Poland was taught to me by a beautiful a lot more.
- 45:23Speaker 3: No, Lie.
- 45:24Speaker 5: One of her points, because she gets like so in
- 45:26Speaker 5: thenity gritty, is that like, well this is a bad
- 45:28Speaker 5: translation because this is about a specific mushroom, not about mushrooms,
- 45:31Speaker 5: and in Poland we like all kinds of mushroom.
- 45:34Speaker 3: That's the point she had. Fantastic I'll cut that.
- 45:39Speaker 2: So so next we're gonna have another song full the
- 45:44Speaker 2: wild cunt mean whenever you already. This is a fantast
- 45:55Speaker 2: This is all I ever want said.
- 45:56Speaker 20: This is very Yeah, I love the jobs.
- 46:10Speaker 6: Deep in the woods there's a creature you dread. Branches
- 46:15Speaker 6: for arms and miscol for ahead where it's attacks in
- 46:21Speaker 6: your next gaming session, or will fall victim to a monstrous.
- 46:30Speaker 14: Nice two points for lessons, great stuff, my favorite monster.
- 46:35Speaker 3: It's a great monster. At first I thought threshy, but
- 46:38Speaker 3: then I thought, I don't know if that's right. I
- 46:41Speaker 3: think Leshie is the nickname. I think so.
- 46:44Speaker 2: So again, yeah, TV show, Sorry, this is this is
- 46:52Speaker 2: largely video games.
- 46:54Speaker 8: No, but I feel like that's where the quality is
- 46:56Speaker 8: is where I've heard because people like you have the books,
- 46:58Speaker 8: and people were like, yeah, that's all right, but let's
- 47:00Speaker 8: take the the good parts and make it a video game.
- 47:03Speaker 8: And everyone loved the video games, so then they made
- 47:05Speaker 8: a movie. The movie is not gonna be as good
- 47:07Speaker 8: as a good.
- 47:07Speaker 3: Video game, and they took three of those to get
- 47:10Speaker 3: it good. So video games, seasons, video God, none of
- 47:14Speaker 3: the seasons again. Hey, no, I like the first two.
- 47:22Speaker 1: You like it if you saw them. You know they
- 47:26Speaker 1: is queer.
- 47:27Speaker 3: I didn't know that January is.
- 47:33Speaker 1: The video game you are able to answer a question,
- 47:36Speaker 1: and not that you're.
- 47:37Speaker 3: With a rat named missile. It's Ellie, not.
- 47:45Speaker 6: Like if.
- 47:49Speaker 3: You watched whole movie just about the rats.
- 47:57Speaker 2: Okay, we're gonna have another day for you. Not and
- 48:00Speaker 2: do you not entertained, Meghan, please whenever you are ready.
- 48:04Speaker 20: It was.
- 48:06Speaker 3: We could not prevent this.
- 48:10Speaker 6: Lismic world changing events. It unleash darkness and monstrous fears.
- 48:20Speaker 6: Oh yes, it's the conjunction.
- 48:24Speaker 2: Oh fantastic for two points, perfect lovely stuff, such such
- 48:34Speaker 2: high scores in this I should have made it more difficulty.
- 48:44Speaker 3: Okay, so back on over to the wild car.
- 48:51Speaker 1: I forgot radio station.
- 49:02Speaker 3: When is sexist surfer guy hangs ten? Now that sound
- 49:08Speaker 3: is recalled. Yeah, I'm kind of a shock jock.
- 49:15Speaker 2: We've always said it. We've always said it. Okay, Megan
- 49:18Speaker 2: my Ne, you already.
- 49:21Speaker 17: Someone for the land. Oh we're black watch out. Their
- 49:27Speaker 17: nation is always at tech. The night gay here makes
- 49:35Speaker 17: this milk heart again.
- 49:43Speaker 8: So I'm thinking of becoming a nil guardian.
- 49:49Speaker 2: Nice good stuff, mil guardian for two points, Meghan, thank
- 49:54Speaker 2: you for singing milk had again.
- 49:57Speaker 9: For the record, Matt did say if I was on
- 50:00Speaker 9: couple with it, I didn't have to sing anything, come
- 50:02Speaker 9: up with something else, and I was like, no, I'm okay.
- 50:11Speaker 2: Audra and Ben, you are up next to your final song, Meganie,
- 50:15Speaker 2: you ready for the final the final tune?
- 50:18Speaker 3: Whenever you are ready, take it away.
- 50:20Speaker 6: He wrote this series. Andre said his name. You can
- 50:26Speaker 6: remember it.
- 50:29Speaker 3: This game.
- 50:30Speaker 6: It's Polish, so I guess it rhymes with the Bowski.
- 50:36Speaker 6: I don't know if he's big, He'skowski.
- 50:43Speaker 2: Okay, I heard Strovkowski from Ben, which isn't quite right.
- 50:47Speaker 2: So we're gonna say at one point because Aldre did
- 50:49Speaker 2: say Andre Sapkowski, so one point there. But you know what,
- 50:55Speaker 2: both teams did really well there. Okay, all right, it
- 51:00Speaker 2: is the end of the round. Please toss a coin
- 51:02Speaker 2: to your bard.
- 51:02Speaker 3: Everyone. Let's give it up to Meghan Hawk and Megan
- 51:15Speaker 3: like that, everyone else.
- 51:26Speaker 2: Meghan, if you want to join Jen over at the
- 51:28Speaker 2: schools table, you're absolutely welcome to if you'd like to
- 51:30Speaker 2: cause some more chaos, but producer Jen. In the meantime,
- 51:35Speaker 2: could we please have the latest scores?
- 51:39Speaker 19: Yes, that was a fantastic showing and got everyone last points.
- 51:44Speaker 2: Sorry, there you go.
- 51:49Speaker 19: Are you not entertained? Are ten points? And the wild
- 51:53Speaker 19: Cunt I'll say it.
- 51:56Speaker 2: All right, okay, catching up Igney. Let's hope the sprinkler
- 52:01Speaker 2: system is working. Because it's time to get even yep someone,
- 52:04Speaker 2: because it's time to get even hotter in round three.
- 52:11Speaker 3: Round three is called flash fiction.
- 52:13Speaker 2: It's the game where I ask our players to compose
- 52:15Speaker 2: the most popular kind of fan generated content. No, not
- 52:19Speaker 2: the crude drawings of all the sexy characters, but fan fiction.
- 52:22Speaker 2: I will take suggestions from our wonderful Peak Improv audience
- 52:25Speaker 2: as to what our players Witcher fan fix will be about,
- 52:29Speaker 2: which they then must compose, one word at a time,
- 52:32Speaker 2: back and forth between teammates until we reach a natural
- 52:36Speaker 2: or horny conclusion.
- 52:40Speaker 3: Whine apples.
- 52:41Speaker 2: So, our wonderful Peak Improv audience, if you could help
- 52:44Speaker 2: me out here, If you could tell me your favorite
- 52:47Speaker 2: relationship from the Witcher, two characters that you would like
- 52:50Speaker 2: to hear a fan fiction about, just thinking about.
- 52:58Speaker 3: Do we want to do the rats?
- 53:04Speaker 2: We're doing, Missile, We're doing missile and Siri, and I
- 53:07Speaker 2: think it's only right that we give this to the
- 53:10Speaker 2: wild cot herself.
- 53:14Speaker 1: I haven't seen season four.
- 53:15Speaker 6: So yeah, don't spoil it.
- 53:24Speaker 5: Someone better part the Rat show.
- 53:31Speaker 2: Okay, whenever you're ready take it away, one more at a time,
- 53:34Speaker 2: let's hear an original witch of fan fiction.
- 53:36Speaker 21: As the Rat awakened, she looked upon Siri.
- 53:46Speaker 3: And her illuminated what do you what?
- 53:57Speaker 1: Siri said, alluring wink.
- 54:05Speaker 3: Abashedly.
- 54:07Speaker 22: She looked at her mouth, the gaping hole in series face.
- 54:33Speaker 1: Love flore the mouth, they out of fall.
- 54:44Speaker 3: Have, said the rat.
- 54:51Speaker 10: Then Siri put her fingers in the rats mouths why.
- 55:05Speaker 3: All right, let's end it there. That was fantastic.
- 55:12Speaker 2: I don't think I've ever heard of mouth be referred
- 55:14Speaker 2: to as the gaping pole of the face. That was
- 55:22Speaker 2: genuinely fantastic. There were adverbs in there. It was amazing.
- 55:26Speaker 2: Oh my god, I think I've got to give the
- 55:27Speaker 2: full five out of five points.
- 55:33Speaker 3: Get it up on a three for God's sake.
- 55:37Speaker 2: Okay, I'd like another relationship from the Witcher, please this
- 55:40Speaker 2: time for are do you not entertained? Does anyone have
- 55:43Speaker 2: any suggestions?
- 55:45Speaker 3: And me? Oh, I love that.
- 55:49Speaker 2: So we're gonna say, we're gonna go fan fiction style,
- 55:51Speaker 2: and we're gonna say and.
- 56:00Speaker 5: That he's gonna you can only imagine.
- 56:05Speaker 2: So whenever you're ready, one word at a time, you're
- 56:07Speaker 2: fanfic about and the self insert who may or may
- 56:11Speaker 2: not be called Cory.
- 56:18Speaker 5: I can't stop thinking about your face, the way it is.
- 56:39Speaker 3: Just so.
- 56:43Speaker 5: Radiant and also expeditious. We cannot leave the castle because
- 57:00Speaker 5: there's a really big.
- 57:05Speaker 1: Storm, and.
- 57:09Speaker 12: Maybe instead we could wait out the storm together by fucking.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Romantic.
- 57:27Speaker 3: The suspense built throughout that. I loved that so much.
- 57:31Speaker 2: You kept it clean, you danced around it, you built
- 57:33Speaker 2: the tension, and then.
- 57:41Speaker 3: I loved it.
- 57:41Speaker 2: I don't think the flow was quite there as much
- 57:45Speaker 2: as with the other team, but I still thought it
- 57:46Speaker 2: was very strong. So I'm gonna give you guys four
- 57:47Speaker 2: out five. That's still pretty good. That's still pretty good. Okay,
- 57:52Speaker 2: let's see one more fan fiction from each team. I
- 57:55Speaker 2: think I'm not turned on enough.
- 57:59Speaker 3: I'm that turn me on.
- 58:06Speaker 10: When when you do it.
- 58:09Speaker 1: Freaks me out.
- 58:11Speaker 2: Okay, So this time I would like a creature or
- 58:14Speaker 2: monster from the Witchers, something that girlt slaves. Maybe any ideas,
- 58:20Speaker 2: any suggestions, Dykestra, do we like.
- 58:25Speaker 1: That trying to remember what a is?
- 58:27Speaker 5: Is that?
- 58:27Speaker 1: The is that a vampire?
- 58:29Speaker 8: Was that the lady who was with the and who
- 58:33Speaker 8: the guy was keeping alive?
- 58:38Speaker 3: That is that, the lady.
- 58:47Speaker 2: We can only do rat any any of the monsters
- 58:52Speaker 2: if you shout out fantasy things, it probably.
- 58:56Speaker 3: Drowner.
- 58:56Speaker 2: Okay, we heard drowned. Should we do drowning water zombies? Yeah,
- 59:01Speaker 2: let's do a fan fiction about a drowning. You can
- 59:03Speaker 2: take in any direction you like. When have you already
- 59:05Speaker 2: take it away?
- 59:06Speaker 21: Deep in the lagoon waited a lonely, hot, wet drowner.
- 59:19Speaker 21: She was knowledgeable and hot. One day a witcher came
- 59:30Speaker 21: and came The richer noticed the drowner, wet and knowledgeable,
- 59:46Speaker 21: and the drowner approached witcher and said, hey, there, witcher,
- 59:57Speaker 21: wanna unsheath the that sword?
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: Wink.
- 1:00:04Speaker 21: The witcher unsheathed his sword, wink the sword penetrating drowner
- 1:00:18Speaker 21: sheath and got really what? And then the drowner said, oh,
- 1:00:34Speaker 21: feels good.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: I like that he was potentially still doing his monster
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: slaying duty.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's.
- 1:00:44Speaker 17: It's like it's.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: Maybe for a drowner it feels good to die.
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: It's like yeah, yeah, it's kind of like inception. It's
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: like you don't really know how it ends.
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: And they say sheath.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: Yeah, and a pleasure and pain are so similar.
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: So yeah, that is that is true.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: And for that truth, I'm going to give you the
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: full five points.
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: Stronger or how many times we said, what.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: Such a well place to do?
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: It was great? I loved it. All Right, we're gonna
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: hear one more piece of fan fiction.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: Do we know any more monsters at all?
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: We should have a fan fic about Roach the Hole.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: Okay, so whenever you're ready, but ideally not without too
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: much of radio silence.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: Take it away, one way at a time about Roach
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: the Horse.
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: Easy there, buddy, We've come so far together, but there's
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: something I have to tell you. Come closer me, your
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: big ear.
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: Girl.
- 1:02:09Speaker 12: The Witcher is not.
- 1:02:15Speaker 5: Able to control you because he is too.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: Hot to handle.
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: You have to become a Real's that.
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: I don't think I need to explain myself five out
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: of five I would.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: I'd also like to point out Ben's fist just getting tighter.
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: Yeah, well around his reins. He was betting his flanks
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: and then he grabbed his reins. Just a quick fact.
- 1:03:02Speaker 5: Roach is a girl, but she needs to become a
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: real boy, my bed. I don't I don't think our
- 1:03:10Speaker 5: suspension of disbelief of the magical world should stop at
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: a girl horse becoming.
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: A real boy?
- 1:03:16Speaker 14: Care about gender or anything? Okay, that is the end
- 1:03:26Speaker 14: of round three.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: Perhaps our resident Bard could sing the latest scores?
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: Is that? Would that be possible? What are the scores? Team?
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: And do not entertained?
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: Do not entertained?
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: Have pulled a head with n one more than the
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: other team? Quick will be.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Yeah, let's go?
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: Will it be Siri? We will find out? Look it
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: can watch season four to fine? It could? It could
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: all be rap? Would the entire quick Fire Around is
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: rat page with the nice ass and it's all rats?
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: It's a rat queen?
- 1:04:30Speaker 8: Im you know if if if I had to watch
- 1:04:35Speaker 8: season four in order to get a five on that
- 1:04:37Speaker 8: rat fan fic, it was all worth it.
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: Yeah, totally, yeah, totally.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: You can't have the time back though, so as Megan
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: alluded to, it can all change in the Quick Fire Around,
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: which is coming up next. But before that, I'd like
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: to remind every one of tonight's mystery prize.
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: Jen could you hold up the box there what it's
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: all been about?
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: Wow?
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: Yeah, the winning team will receive that magic Mystery Prize.
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: Quick Fire Around should we do this, Yeah, yes, let's
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: do this. Our final quick fire around will test your
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: broader pop culture knowledge, and it's called meta gaming. It says, here,
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: are we all familiar with Gwent? So in this game,
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: I will give our players clues to a fictional game
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: from pop culture history. It could be a tabletop game,
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: a sport, that sort of thing. Those clues will be
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: in the style of a stern quiz master asking questions.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: Because after one hundred episodes, I can finally do the
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: meta thing and just read the clues as intended. If
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: this is your first show, I'm subverting what I normally do,
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: and now you're all caught up. There is, of course
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: a classic pandemonium twist. Before you say your answer, you
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: need to say about a game of then the answer
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: it's your best like villager.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: How about a game?
- 1:06:03Speaker 8: Okay, so I don't have you'll count a bunch of
- 1:06:06Speaker 8: times like when.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: So you you buzz in with your team name, all
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: is like one kind of yeah, that'll work. And then
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: before you say your answer, you've got to say about
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: a game the game that is a fictional game from
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: pop culture. So for example, if I said which board
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: game can summon spiders? Monkeys and trap you in the
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: I think I heard you know, and stay slightly before. No,
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: thank you, but yes, it's it's the answer. It's practice.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: You can interrupt me at any point during the clue,
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: as you just did so wonderfully.
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: Are we all ready?
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: Yeah, here we go, which international sport made its way
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: to the real world as quad ball equipment includes beatas
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: bats entertained, there was an intake of breath there, so
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: I'm gonna go.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: With How about a game of Yes it is an equidditch.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: Which world game often found below a Holo deck, is
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: played on multiple platforms. It's an evolutionary variance on one
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: of the older strategy games in the world, first introduced
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: in the episode Where No Man Has Gone Before, played
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: on three vertical platforms.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: Are do you not entertained?
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: Yes? Sore?
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: How about a.
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: Game of three dimensional four dimensional chess?
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: Because chess is already three dimensions. You said three dimensional first,
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: I'll give you it. Yes, try dimensional chess is what
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: I've got here.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: Chess is already three d.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: That's take it up at Star Trek, which video game
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: is named after a Lewis Carroll creature from Through the
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: Looking Glass. It was delisted from Netflix in twenty twenty five,
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: and encourages the viewer to make choices for the game's career.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: How about a game of.
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: Oh fucker, Oh, I'll give you a few more seconds.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Oh my god, it's gone from my brain. Are you
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: not entertained?
- 1:08:20Speaker 20: Ye?
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Starting to do that with the accent.
- 1:08:23Speaker 23: How about a game of band snare, which improvised social
- 1:08:30Speaker 23: game is never played the same way twice, often involving flags, masks,
- 1:08:33Speaker 23: various scoring systems, or none of the above, often played
- 1:08:36Speaker 23: with a tiger named after a political philosopher political Okay.
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: No, not this one.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Uh? Are you not entertained?
- 1:08:48Speaker 20: Yes?
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: How about a game of a caucus rice.
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: It's not a caucus rice, but that's a really good guess.
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: How about you repeat that question? It's the quick fire around.
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: I can't.
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: I'm afraid we'll pass on. That one was Calvin Ball,
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: which national hyper normalized event is used as a mechanism
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: for controlling a fragmented industrialized population. Contestants travel to the
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: capital to are do you not entertained?
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: I heard first?
- 1:09:13Speaker 20: Oh?
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: I said it?
- 1:09:15Speaker 22: Yeah, yes, I didn't even register that.
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: Yes, Julia, Uh? How about a game of hunger game? No,
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: it's American idol.
- 1:09:25Speaker 16: No it is.
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: Which national hyper normalized violent reality TV game show is
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: used as a mechanism of control in a late stage
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: capitalist dystopia. Contestants or runners must evade hunters for thirty
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: days in order to win a cash prize. The series
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: was rebooted in twenty twenty five with old young heartthrob
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: Glenn Powell.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Are you not entertained?
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: Yes?
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: How about a game of tag?
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: It's not that it's not tag, but you would you
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: do do this thing in tag?
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: You said this thing?
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: That one? Yes, Julia, how about a game of Chase?
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: It's not Chase, it's the Running Man. We were looking
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: for one for the older fans there which which?
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: Which?
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: Two player card game is commonly played in post apocalyptic
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: Las Vegas and sees players try to build columns in
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: order to sell them. Often played by traders. This game
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: is named after a vehicle that British people might go
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: camping in art.
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: That was almost exactly the same time.
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: See the thing is the thing is I don't know,
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: and so if you do know, Julia.
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: How about a game of Caravan? It is caravan.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: Should have taken it?
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: Which?

- 1:10:47Speaker 2: to two warriors, one corporal, and a legerment, and was
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: invented by Ben Wyatt, who is referred to as the architect.
- 1:10:53Speaker 15: Yes, oh fuck, I don't actually do you know? How
- 1:11:00Speaker 15: about a game of that one with the cones?
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: I need its name?
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: Oh god? How about a game of cones of doun shy.
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: And recreation?
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: Which variation on baseball is played in the year three thousand,
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: especially in New York, where heated sports rivalries still exist,
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: including the New New York Yankees and the New New
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: York Mets. Leela Taranga becomes the first female player of
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: the game, satirizing twenty first century progress in women's sports.
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: Thank you, Chris can't. Yes, a game of Smash them Up.
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: It's a great guest, but it's not smashing up.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: Yes, how about a game of New New Baseball.
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: It's a great guest, but it's not the right answer.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: It's blurns ball is what.
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: We're looking for, okay?
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: Which game sees a bear, a boy, and a piglet
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: dropping twigs in a stream. Players drop branches from one
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: side of a bridge and race to see who's emerges
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: first on the other side.
- 1:12:03Speaker 5: Are you not entertained? Yes, Ben, I bet a game
- 1:12:07Speaker 5: of pine cone race. It's not pine cone races. That

- 1:12:20Speaker 2: No, it's sticks and I remember sticks.
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: No, No, that's what we call all. We'll do more
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: of an American one.
