- 0:41Welcome back to your handsome with a blunt penknife the Doctor
- 0:44Who commentary podcast. I'm Dave and I can.
- 0:50We start again? Because I was just so sorry, if
- 0:53you want to, yes, started 32. Welcome back to your hands with
- 1:00a blunt penknife. The Doctor Who commented
- 1:02broadcast, your usual host. Your Ford is taking a back seat
- 1:06on this episode of ink is somewhere.
- 1:08Oh, there he is on the streets though.
- 1:10But I'm Dave and I'm with the lovely.
- 1:12Lucy, McCall's, Hello, Lucy. Hello and the DU Chic, Daniel.
- 1:17Nate's, I can't think of adjectives, beginning of a juice
- 1:25or to see how would you think that?
- 1:28Is very dishy, the only chance to think it was juicy.
- 1:32I don't know if that's appropriate to say, I beg your
- 1:36pardon, that is a scurrilous rumor.
- 1:41But back here for part, 2 of planet of Fire Within Sunny
- 1:44Lanzarote and seeing people in their pants and bikinis and so
- 1:48on. And yeah, the Masters
- 1:51disappeared with his unfinished Lane.
- 1:53And of course. Are we going to do again?
- 1:55No. Really.
- 2:05So what we're going to do it and something on the counter sin.
- 2:12Lucy. Yeah.
- 2:13Okay. So in 5 4, 3 2 1, go.
- 2:21So we've got the master and the pantheon of Masters but does
- 2:26Anthony ainley set for all of you although it will see first.
- 2:30Okay, so Roger Delgado is always going to be talks for me I think
- 2:37just because I don't know if it's because he's the first but
- 2:41he is The Benchmark by which all other Masters are all set.
- 2:48Auntie, Amy was obviously the master I saw it first.
- 2:51When I was watching this the first time around and I found
- 2:54him scary I think and nasty and he was obviously the big Baddie.
- 2:59So when I was a child re watching him as an adult, it
- 3:04doesn't quite hit quite as well. I don't think possibly because
- 3:09he fears a little bit towards the kind of pantomime villain
- 3:14and also there is so and I know that the master was in the whole
- 3:18of the series with with them. Jon Pertwee.
- 3:21But where you get to the point was like, oh, you escaped from
- 3:26wherever it was again, it was kind of a bit really.
- 3:32So, I mean, I do. I do like his master and I do
- 3:35think he has moments of being genuinely creepy, but he's been
- 3:39slightly aged to decide by Derek Jacobi who is just even though
- 3:45he's only on their screens as the master for a fraction of
- 3:49anybody's time. He's I think somebody described
- 3:52it on Twitter as being a magnificent bastard and he just
- 3:55is hate us so much Autumn this evil and in the audio Dentures
- 4:03as well you get to a point where like it's almost like the floor
- 4:07drops out from under you do you think oh it's you go yet of
- 4:10course he's going to kill all those people.
- 4:12All do it, do whatever it is. You know, I think the most
- 4:15Sinister line genuinely in all of Doctor Who is 0.
- 4:20Now I can say I was provoked. Yes, that is a Hos Carrie that
- 4:26Lolly, the fact that he can show you.
- 4:28I mean, he's a magnificent actor, he just fantastic.
- 4:33He can show you the whole change in character without changing
- 4:39his expression. He's all in the eyes.
- 4:41And, you know, when you look at him that that's happened, It's
- 4:46like yeah. So the market period of course,
- 4:49is one of those people who the master can't hypnotize.
- 4:51Much to his disgust and is now turn back into comedian again.
- 4:58Yes, butand towards one, another and has a humanoid silver face
- 5:02as well, which are all struggling follow.
- 5:04What was going on there to visit is that Howard?
- 5:0840 million sort of in the metal is MM - yeah.
- 5:11It's kind of comedian sort of coming to coming apart a bit.
- 5:14Isn't it at this point? He's breaking down.
- 5:17What's your thoughts Daniel? And in his martyrdom?
- 5:21Well, as a kid, he was slightly more scary than I find.
- 5:26It was an adult. I mean, it's very much.
- 5:28He's very much portrayed as the panto villain, but There's,
- 5:36there's as Lucy said, there's that there's a repetitiveness
- 5:39about. Oh, you escaped from zarafa.
- 5:41So you escaped from the 12th century and 13th century.
- 5:45Britain, do you escape from here?
- 5:47You was getting and it's it does devalue the character so much
- 5:54that actually, it takes a story of like survival to really get
- 6:00the master back on track as a as a serious villain.
- 6:04I mean I think I love Mark of the Rani but it really doesn't
- 6:10doesn't do the master any favors particularly when she needs him
- 6:13in the Cobblers at one point it's probably it's very funny
- 6:19but it's like you know do Master 22 villain squabbling but I mean
- 6:27he's he never he never gives a dull performance.
- 6:31He never gives a bad performance.
- 6:33It's just as a Is it performance?
- 6:35There's no subtlety apart from in the gospel has.
- 6:39And that the bit where he's he's sort of, you know, wiping his
- 6:43arms with the dust and being very, very particular the bit
- 6:48where he's shaking. He puts it doesn't he put his
- 6:52hand on on Tom Baker's shoulder and Tom and Toms dr.
- 6:54Sort of flinches challenge is actually repellent.
- 6:58The doctor finds the master which then goes sort of against
- 7:02what they later come in with this.
- 7:04This story as well. We're at the end where his way
- 7:07he says, will you show? No mercy to your.
- 7:10And then, of course, the fandom has been speculating on who that
- 7:15is, you know, ever since was it your own, kind your own brother,
- 7:20your own father, your own, you know, Sister whatever.
- 7:25And then you've got, I mean, I agree with you Lucy.
- 7:28Derek Jacoby's Master is brilliant and it would have been
- 7:31brilliant as to see him in more stories.
- 7:34And I haven't listened to all of the the big finisher audios but
- 7:39I know that he's brilliant in those.
- 7:41Oh, so Michelle Gomez. I think is it's really good to
- 7:47particularly in that scene in in death.
- 7:50In heaven, where she kills Osgood?
- 7:52That's really Sinister. Really, really unnerving.
- 7:58Yeah. Do not the Pope.
- 8:00I do. Admittedly.
- 8:02I like the payoff of this. This The mastering in what
- 8:06appears to be a control room, but the payoff of this does is
- 8:10quite good. I think they do string that out
- 8:12quite well. Yeah, and I got to be honest,
- 8:15from memory watching it, as a kid, seeing the Cliffhangers
- 8:19part 3 and go, oh, yeah. Well as a, as a nine-year-old
- 8:25would do you know, oh, wow. Is that, you know, it is quite a
- 8:28nice clever twist. Joe with I Great with Lucy.
- 8:35I think Delgado is the ultimate master.
- 8:39And I agree with Daniel, I think Anthony ainley never fails to
- 8:44disappoint and I just want you to think about the stories is
- 8:48in, at the moment time fly trial of a Time Lord episode 12 and 13
- 8:54and how Bloody dreary they would be, eventually, Amy didn't turn
- 8:57up and camp out and bring up in. Oh, absolutely.
- 9:01He's doing what? He's?
- 9:03He's all stupid. In the role.
- 9:05Oh, yeah. And he's doing it.
- 9:06Well. It's just that it gets when I
- 9:11think it was time for like, where I kind of went.
- 9:13Oh, really? It was the master then going
- 9:19sharam sure are just no no that's the.
- 9:23But then of course the then there's the thing, the reveal of
- 9:26the disguiseys, the get more, and more and more improbable a
- 9:30oh yeah. What?
- 9:31The other thing that's weird about him is Lee.
- 9:34So, obscure like Delgado, there's a lot of background
- 9:39about this. A lot of stories about him.
- 9:40People will say a lot about Jacoby diwan, all of them
- 9:44Anthony ainley. He's got an autobiography, I
- 9:46think why biography, but all the actors said, none of them really
- 9:51got to know him. All they knew was that he liked
- 9:53cricket and playing the master. He was quite an enigma.
- 9:57Yeah, that I found quite interesting factors tend to one
- 10:01out, you know, show off a bit and make it up.
- 10:04Bit about themselves. I think he just loves the Sara
- 10:06Lee. I mean, some, some actors become
- 10:09actors because they don't want to be themselves.
- 10:12It's very true because they feel more comfortable being other
- 10:14people. And I mean, even the best.
- 10:17The best of the best of actors like Judi Dench.
- 10:20For instance, I've seen a documentary about her when she
- 10:23goes into rehearsal. She always puts her bag next
- 10:25nearest to the door. Because because that's her
- 10:30because then she's got any an Escape Route, right?
- 10:34So she needs to be, she could be first out of the room,
- 10:37obviously. And today, Amy then just enjoyed
- 10:39playing insane, megalomaniacs that.
- 10:44There's also the thing and I think particularly to, I mean,
- 10:47it's nice in a way that people can interact with actors and
- 10:52talk to them. And I mean, I really like, now
- 10:55being able to just say go on social media and say, You to
- 10:58somebody before. I've enjoyed the performance or
- 11:01something that they've done, it's just, you know, it feel it
- 11:03feels nice. But on the other hand, there is
- 11:06this thing, what the more that you know, about a person, does
- 11:10that sort of affect the way you see their performance?
- 11:13I think so. I think so there's a wonderful
- 11:17story about Anthony ainley in when big finish we're doing dust
- 11:20breeding they were going to bring the master back and so
- 11:23they caught in touch with an insanely and he's like yeah I'll
- 11:25do it but I want double the amount, the dogs.
- 11:28Ours are getting and I want script and actor approval in the
- 11:31stories, and they actually were Gary Russell and jaison Hilary,
- 11:35Ashley went away and try to make that happen and then halfway
- 11:38through the conversation, Gary Russell went, he ain't worth it,
- 11:42they found him up and said, look I'm sorry we can't exceed to all
- 11:44your demands and and the only went you'll be back.
- 11:48I'll be waiting by the phone and then they got a Jeffrey beavers.
- 11:51Instead is the one. Yeah.
- 11:54He's the one for me, that is the most unsung because you see him
- 11:57only And keep the tracking, and you often will remember, when I
- 12:02first saw that thinking will preferred PR products or
- 12:05interpretation of this, but how wrong I was, because only audios
- 12:10just made me appreciate them so much for is fantastic.
- 12:12And your disease, the most underrated Mastered by a country
- 12:15mile for me, is is brilliant. It's brilliant exist, evil just
- 12:22as mustard on the edge, because, of course, he's played in,
- 12:24what's the crispy mask Elizabeth, and it's yeah.
- 12:28It's just bloody brilliant. It made me appreciate the keep
- 12:30the track performance even more. If you go back to keep the track
- 12:33and eat deliciously, evil be in the mail, current do know, the
- 12:36lanes. And, and, of course, they went
- 12:40to across here. But us, sorry for.
- 12:42What do you think of the only one?
- 12:43Then Dave? I think just ugly with what you
- 12:49have been saying that. I think he's too panting - but
- 12:52he's talking about it fun, but survival is basically
- 12:55performances of survival and when his tree moss and keep the
- 12:58tracking. Oh yes.
- 12:59It's very good. Yeah.
- 13:00And it's very good because he's not coming up and it's
- 13:03interesting how what they say is that he was asked to sort of
- 13:06come up, so if he wanted to play that all the way through, but
- 13:11I'd leave you to, if you're done that sort of performance in
- 13:14survival and traffic, No, that wouldn't of had the fun fact up
- 13:19to do that. So we're trade-off in it like I
- 13:22said but he's the disguises for them in the Poetry of I was
- 13:27totally fooled but I thought I've totally never got it with
- 13:30him so it was Sophie aldred when they were wash him on behind the
- 13:33sofa. So Filled Room a striction are
- 13:35watching that as she's this actors.
- 13:37Really good play in the port revisit and it.
- 13:39Whatever. That's what I know is that the
- 13:42aim? Yeah, honestly, I was totally
- 13:44fueled bit, of course. Jails histogram and so many
- 13:46others are just like, you can't come on, you know, as soon as
- 13:49he's here, but, and in John Sims, of course, says.
- 13:52Same reason, doesn't it? I'll still buy.
- 13:56That is very. I knew he was coming out of it
- 13:57and never talk to me. Oh, that's him.
- 13:59So it's when it works, it's good.
- 14:01But, of course, you need to distances disguise.
- 14:04I do love the, the sort of the key characters that the master
- 14:09can't hypnotize. Yeah.
- 14:11Like he can't hypnotize Perry, she knows that it's Comedian.
- 14:16So she's trying to get chameleon to come out the master.
- 14:19The, the first Master couldn't hypnotize to be solved.
- 14:22Thought that does these wonderful I roll when he can't
- 14:24hypnotize her, but he's happy sighs, Joe Carney.
- 14:29And then it's a place where he can't hypnotize a course in
- 14:32Frontier is face. She starts singing nursery
- 14:35rhymes and she said, yeah, you did it to me once a lot, you
- 14:37know, I'm not gonna fall for that one.
- 14:39Again, it goes. I always hated nursery rhyme.
- 14:42Yeah. We're seeing real master with a
- 14:47hair dryer on in the store and chameleon is back, as sober
- 14:51heard the one thing somebody maybe explain this to me, why
- 14:55are there different? This isn't a suit I never got
- 14:58what that was about. I think it's a hybrid of the
- 15:00master and Howard, isn't it? It's like yeah but most of all
- 15:05the monsters trying to Petra. I don't know.
- 15:07No. Because Howard wasn't wearing
- 15:09his I mean at least yeah. Silver Howard and his trunks
- 15:12that would have been worth. I thought yeah.
- 15:15He's not uncomfortable enough in the Silver makeup or shoving
- 15:18with a suit. It's just, yeah, I just bought
- 15:20it and you've got a guy in a suit but Mr. Really clear.
- 15:25Why? You know, but doesn't doesn't
- 15:27only small still look good in a suit though.
- 15:30Oh yeah. Oh yeah, yeah, looks like heart.
- 15:31Yeah. So now we've got the doctor
- 15:34until over exploring the mysterious Machinery with the
- 15:40with the rebels who are resistant to the appeal of logo.
- 15:45That's a rebel. Isn't that dr.
- 15:47Paxson from Blake severed, its Barbara Shelly.
- 15:50Yeah. The famous Hammer star.
- 15:53Yeah she's in. She's talked to placing in
- 15:55Blake's 7. She's also Venus Brown in The
- 15:59Avengers episode from Venus would love it and she's also in
- 16:02the quatermass place. Mats in the pit isn't she?
- 16:05Yes she's in quite a few handlers Dracula.
- 16:09Princess cut it out. No they usually don't last do
- 16:16you know who they are? Steeply that part before she got
- 16:18the cup Elena Elena Braun really this what's arasta?
- 16:24Yeah, because she's quite a small part.
- 16:26I mean, you've got yeah you've got the Uh to where you got the
- 16:28three sort of humor may have been developing a broader been
- 16:31playing that I would and so glad she didn't do it because then we
- 16:36would have, maybe been enough, not give another fantastic
- 16:40performance. The next year.
- 16:41Of course, he was about to control the food supply for
- 16:45that. Been played by flast.
- 17:00Yeah the leader of the Crayons was apparently they were they
- 17:04approached Maureen. Lipman yes life lasts but I
- 17:09think I mean Faith Brown not the first choice but really good
- 17:12actually really, really good. What is quality.
- 17:15Mr. Gable is. The extraordinary leader has
- 17:18absolutely. Yeah.
- 17:20Well yeah. I hadn't been given the Boo and
- 17:23had a couple of years. We've Andrew cartmel script
- 17:25editing. That's an interesting one.
- 17:27Yeah that was Ben Klassen either would have a brilliant, I could
- 17:30just see him in Paradise Towers, you know. so pays no, just
- 17:36getting into scrapes on the mountain and she's trying to
- 17:42What's she trying to do? Oops, stroke Howard, who has
- 17:55just turned eight is being greeted by the priest and his
- 18:01cohorts as the, the Savior, The Outsider who will come and save
- 18:06them all from the Wrath of the volcano.
- 18:09Yeah, let's talk about Peter when God, the book, because
- 18:11before we started this, there's a lot of stories about this guy.
- 18:14I mean, a lot of stories and he's obviously most famous is
- 18:17Jason, King in the seventies, but a park over there.
- 18:23We begun the family show or not about how how it goes to Fiona
- 18:35coming in. I want to play it old.
- 18:36I'm gonna play it like an old geezer.
- 18:38And apparently J&T was in earshot of ptosis and going, but
- 18:43he is old no acting required. Yeah, but you say that, but then
- 18:51some, when the film of the Widow's, the Steve McQueen film
- 18:58of widows. That was recently quite recent.
- 19:00I really enjoyed, but he was saying to Jason robots.
- 19:05You know, you have to play this character like an old man.
- 19:07He said, I am an old man today. No, you're you Jason for.
- 19:10You not playing it. You're not playing as an old bag
- 19:14of paint. It's you need to be older.
- 19:17What is a bit old makeup on as well?
- 19:19But I think GNT said, yeah, because you cast somebody like
- 19:24Peter wyngarde, do you want to see that?
- 19:25It's Peter Wing card? Yes, absolutely.
- 19:27That's what you call Steam for. Yeah, apparently on the in the
- 19:30rehearsals he played that way on the plane J&T tried to talk to
- 19:34him and he said, no, I'm going to play it old and then
- 19:37apparently got the costume on Right?
- 19:39And the second he was on your side.
- 19:40No, I can still do this young Dynamite Moustache, he's great
- 19:49in. This is a story about, obviously
- 19:50the GP hard or something. In guy who plays valcano
- 19:55forgotten his name crash that. So we had to see a tie up the
- 20:00Steep and then you have to go pee Open Garden see or so sorry
- 20:03but of course cheaper apparently said all those that's no trouble
- 20:06chat and then he went to the Car please and try to make sure that
- 20:11state condition it was in when Brittany hired some robots.
- 20:19Anyway, forget that but yes, the actors who actors who are older
- 20:23do not always act old. Yeah.
- 20:27Mr. Koontz is to lose less story.
- 20:29It is. Yes, the usual Royal the, the
- 20:33highly technical try on communication device.
- 20:37Have some baked bean tins and a bit of string that fabulous,
- 20:40triangular symbol on his arm that he's been hiding this
- 20:43entire tenure. Yes.
- 20:47So, I kept these Blazer and all the time, I'll be starting to
- 20:51crumble. Now he's starting to give give
- 20:53himself away. Are we supposed to lie?
- 20:57It's her low because you know what?
- 20:58It episode 1. When he thinks he's the
- 21:00chameleons getting a signal from try on.
- 21:02He sends like a pulse for him. Doesn't he and hurts?
- 21:04Yeah. Yeah but he I mean I think I
- 21:08think by the end you're supposed to if not like him then
- 21:11understand him a bit more because he because as far as He
- 21:17knows he's still a wanted man, understand his motives here and
- 21:21he's determing to, I mean, he's sort of, he's kind of got a bit
- 21:26more for want of a better word human, having been, because in,
- 21:32like Warriors of the deep, he's all like, know why do humans
- 21:35always want to do the heroic thing just survive.
- 21:37Don't don't be stupid, so, run away and then you can go Well, I
- 21:44don't quite get it. How old this other character is
- 21:47supposed to be the brother who was collected as a baby on the
- 21:53the mountain. Okay.
- 21:57The sequence in the appalling special edition that they put
- 22:02out, have you any of you seen it?
- 22:04Not. I watched it once.
- 22:05When they come, we have taken out the music, which is one of
- 22:09the best things about this story and I've added flames.
- 22:13All the location scenes and then they put in this videotape
- 22:17sequence at the beginning, featuring the ship heading
- 22:20towards saw it goes, get your son to safety and the ship
- 22:25crashes and then the camera pans over onto the baby and I
- 22:29supposed to be malcon as a kid landing on song.
- 22:31Yeah. Because he said they said he was
- 22:33a baby and that's where the the priests found him when he was a
- 22:36baby, I wondered if he was, whether perhaps they were
- 22:40intending to have. A younger.
- 22:46I mean, he looks like a teenager doesn't.
- 22:48He also of mid-teens because he sort of gangly in a bit naive.
- 22:51And whether it was supposed to have been a child or a younger
- 22:57teenager, in the park who sees the chosen, one of course he
- 23:01looks young. Yeah, I know.
- 23:05But if you, if you think that, I mean, I don't know how old
- 23:08turlough is actually supposed to be easy.
- 23:10Meant to be a young adult, what makes you happy?
- 23:13Yeah, yeah, he's presumably the people on trial and it's
- 23:15supposed to look younger than than humans, because they will
- 23:18look about 12 when they turn up with.
- 23:20Yeah. But, but that doesn't sort of
- 23:32the age difference between him and his younger brother, how
- 23:34many years have meant to have passed?
- 23:40That is the only Doctor Who fan approach to watching a story,
- 23:43you know? Well, no, it's just a me
- 23:45approach to a, he's reunited with her reluctant
- 23:53knight-errant. Asia, is the last for like one
- 23:56minute and then she's up in there.
- 23:59Are the master of course, is now in the If we do miss Belle, the
- 24:04main halls and is enough to do that one as well.
- 24:10So it was what? Lines that I can't remember.
- 24:12He says in see that there's dr. Burns slowly.
- 24:17That's that's like Dave just one second.
- 24:23One second because it's like I was going to point.
- 24:28This is your side but I just want to say, I think in terms of
- 24:31production, Value. And in terms of J and T being a
- 24:35producer that can put money on the screen, I think this is one
- 24:40of his best stories. I think there's sets a very good
- 24:43and well lit. The location work is fantastic.
- 24:46The music is really good. There's impressive actors in
- 24:50there as well. Like, in terms of production
- 24:52value, I think this is about, as good as classic doctor who gets
- 24:58he could make that very small per stretch.
- 25:02Quite far when he wanted. So I'm hitting you get to in
- 25:05dilemma in there. Things like that as well.
- 25:06That's that's the payoff but spending the money here but he
- 25:11could really make it stylish. Oh under percent he gets a bad
- 25:14place to often. Nothing gentian he doesn't get
- 25:17enough credit for things like that.
- 25:21Sorry about that is coming up but it all.
- 25:24Here we go. See that?
- 25:27This doctor Burns slowly and a dividend stock to just looking
- 25:33very, what the hell am I going to do?
- 25:36You know what Davison is really good in this?
- 25:39Isn't he? Oh yeah, yeah, it's very good to
- 25:41me when he's given when he's given material to work with.
- 25:46And the character has Character was well, once he was going I
- 25:56mean obviously they I think I do want to say that they hired him
- 26:04obviously he was he's a complete contrast to Tom Baker and he
- 26:07always was going to be, but it's almost like in some ways the
- 26:14three sort of my three in inverted commas doctors, well
- 26:19hired. To be faces rather than
- 26:22personalities. And it was like, oh, well, have
- 26:25him. He looks good.
- 26:26Yeah. Okay, fine.
- 26:27Well, what do you want him to do with the part?
- 26:29Oh, that's up to him. And how are they supposed to
- 26:32know? They're actors.
- 26:41They sort of asked him well what you going to do rather than
- 26:43giving him ideas? So thing they took that very
- 26:47let's in Philippines cliff and Terrance dicks took Tom Baker
- 26:50out. Such you got the part.
- 26:51What are you going to do with these it?
- 26:52I don't know. And then they're saying they'll
- 26:54come on, come on stop messing about where you going to do and
- 26:57Tom Baker said he doesn't have any really no idea.
- 27:00I think I think produces sometimes think of the doctors
- 27:03being a blank canvas Which isn't very helpful.
- 27:07And I think if you get strong scripts, like Tom did, you've
- 27:11got, I mean, if you think about that first season, okay.
- 27:13Robot, it's very much a unit sort of throwback, but then you
- 27:18get the architect, you get Arc in space and you get Genesis of
- 27:21the Daleks two of the best scripts that are doctor.
- 27:24Could have poor old Peter gets for to Doomsday, which isn't
- 27:30brilliant and cast revolver, which doesn't really feel.
- 27:34His doctor that much at all. I mean, I think also when you
- 27:38get settled in with with this is visitation and and Kinder, I
- 27:42can't imagine any other doctors are doing Kinder.
- 27:44I can't imagine Tom being in Kinder.
- 27:46Also he does have his sort of Personality there.
- 27:50Yeah. Weirdly then I think they
- 27:51overcompensated with Colin Baker's doctor and they gave him
- 27:54like this, massively Brash violent over-the-top
- 27:58characterization and then he had to struggle to get moments of
- 28:03charm in there and moments of Umar, whereas if they just saw
- 28:05a, let him play it since I see what.
- 28:08Exactly. I mean, the seventh is doctors
- 28:11talked about me and Tom Baker of, literally the played
- 28:13themselves, really don't because between himself and jump him, he
- 28:17was this Suave gentlemen. Well, they said it was Jon
- 28:21Pertwee, and Jon Pertwee said, well, I've never played.
- 28:23I've always played a character. Yeah, of course.
- 28:26Packed exciting was a character actor, so he played that.
- 28:29He just saw this photo and was given up.
- 28:32It seems that he was giving a better Direction so it's
- 28:34interesting. Each approach to the doctor but
- 28:38Peters doctor works. Best as like your old man, young
- 28:42body finger be getting Frontiers and one or two others.
- 28:45If they played or not more, it would have been more happy in
- 28:48terms of performance, but unfortunately, but unless he's
- 28:51very good, he's like, in episode form will get there.
- 28:55He has a silent scene. He doesn't say a word after the
- 28:58moth has burned to death. It's all there in his face.
- 29:02You know, lesser actor. You shove a camera in their
- 29:04face. Us and given no dialogue,
- 29:06they're flounder a bit, Dave's knows exactly what he's doing
- 29:09the thing. That's most annoying really
- 29:11about certain modern books as well as I think by the frontier
- 29:15is when they hurt, they get is totally the wrong word game but
- 29:19then of course that's when they leave.
- 29:21Yes, well, yeah, but we don't agree with you on that one.
- 29:40I really wish that Chris Frank bid me.
- 29:42Dad stayed as the script editor because he gets you, if you
- 29:45watch Peter in front EOS, he's brilliant.
- 29:48I think it's one apart from possibly Kaiser and his army.
- 29:52I think that's the best performance, he does.
- 29:54I think that, I don't think he gives a bad performance.
- 29:56I think very, I think Francis is best performers and it's best
- 30:00characterization as well. Yeah.
- 30:02I do think he's good in cases where over eyes, brilliant
- 30:05cases? Well, yeah, I think he's very
- 30:06good in Warriors of the deep. I'm no worries of the deep is
- 30:09not the fan favorite, but he's very strong in that.
- 30:14I just like him all the way through, and I just want to Snug
- 30:19his face off because it's gorgeous.
- 30:24Have you met it? Yeah, it's an appropriate way to
- 30:30it.
