  So we are going to do a Road to Allegiance can this year, a

  couple of episodes with guests. We went a little bit crazy last

  were, we were new, you know, so we needed to kind of try and get

  as many people as possible. Yeah, I, I did those sort of

  wedding invitation route where I just invited everybody

  presumably would say no, we couldn't.

  Make it and you've got everybody you've got.

  You've got 50 tables in the restaurant and you've invited

  100 on the assumption that, like, granny from a great

  grandmother from the other side of the country isn't going to

  Then last year it turned out that she hide A limo and got

  herself down there no problem at all and was on the show.

  So yeah, no, we're not going to be doing like, I think, I think

  one weekend and we like record like 4 shows or something one

  weekend. We won't be doing that this

  year. Yeah, no, we ended up having too

  many and and that's not to say obviously everyone we invited on

  we wanted to have on but. Oh yeah.

  But scheduling wise, we just thought, you know, we'll ask

  these all and we surely we'll get 6 shows out of it instead of

  we got a dozen shows out of it or more I.

  Think it's so? Well, the way we've decided to

  approach it. So firstly, we're in this little
• 8:42
  section, the first Alliance section with Toy Forge and did
• 8:46
  Peter custom funhouse the goblins, He, Mike, who else is
• 8:53
  in there? Mythic Mythic Collection.
• 8:56
  Immortal collection, Borderland towards.
• 8:58
  So that's that's all kind of one section that's going to be
• 9:02
  called the First Alliance, a bit like the Wolf King section has a
• 9:05
  load of different people that are kind of connected to the
• 9:08
  Wolf King. So we'll have a bunch of those
• 9:11
  people on probably kicking it off with Anthony, obviously and.
• 9:17
  Which he will become the person who has been on our show more
• 9:21
  than anyone. Which he'll.
• 9:24
  Be happy and then we we're going to try and get some other people
• 9:31
  from the show that we like, obviously, and we like everyone
• 9:33
  at the show. But we've decided this year that
• 9:36
  there's lots of people that have their own shows and as much as
• 9:38
  we'd love to have them on, maybe in the run up to allegiance can
• 9:42
  they're going to be doing their thing and you know, we don't
• 9:45
  need to have them on in their own up to allegiance can't.

  So they'll be great. You know, be great to have
• 9:50
  people from other shows on during the year when there's not
• 9:53
  much to talk about as much. So we're going to try and have
• 9:58
  people that don't have their and they might end up being on other
• 10:01
  shows as well. Of course there'll be crossover

  like we we want. We've always wanted to get Mark
• 10:06
  Calvo on at the right, right time.

  He was already on Legions Lounge.

  But I'm sure we'll get Mark on for this run up because he's

  going to be there this year and obviously he's European like us.

  So it would be a miss if we didn't get Mark on Yeah, for

  already agreed to pick up a few painted heads from him.

  Yeah, but how much cash in theory I would need because the

  the exchange rate is quite good at the moment, so I thought I'll

  get my old. Early just failure.

  Like, how much? How much cash shall I get out?

  And I quoted a couple of numbers and she was like, you don't need

  that much, do you? And I'm like, yes.

  It goes. How are you going to declare

  So, yeah, but no, the exchange rate is very favorable at the

  moment. So it is before we have our

  budget and plummets again then now it's time to get.

  Very good. Well, and I was also thinking

  about my painted stuff, so I'm just going to try and sell as
• 11:53
  much as I can this year. So painted heads would be 20 to
• 11:56
  $25.00. So I don't think you get them
• 12:00
  cheaper than that, apart from people that do their own heads,
• 12:04
  print them and paint them. Obviously they could afford
• 12:07
  maybe to sell them, but yeah, why not?

  I'll still make money at those prices.

  So you know, I don't need to make loads of money.

  Just painful. That's.

  The prices I was thinking of for my stuff too John, I will lose
• 12:22
  money on all mine, but at least. Together you bought them.

  You know, I, I've bought the resin of all of mine, but
• 12:29
  especially since like a lot of stuff I've painted is from
• 12:33
  regions gone last year and I went to tables and OK, heads
• 12:37
  would have been 15 maybe if you bought one.
• 12:40
  But if you bought 10 or 12, you get them down to around 10 or
• 12:45
  less per head. Then you can sell them for 20 of
• 12:48
  your paintwork. You know, and yeah, I think I'm
• 12:51
  getting better as a painter all the time.
• 12:53
  So hopefully they'd be worth people's money so.
• 12:57
  Having had a box of a very large box stuff through from John
• 13:00
  recently, I confirm he's getting very, very good with the
• 13:02
  paintwork. Trying, trying.
• 13:05
  And sometimes it's the inspiration, you know, we talked
• 13:08
  about writing BIOS to the day and, and I sat at the computer
• 13:12
  to try and write a bio from my leprechaun that we'll talk about
• 13:15
  later. And I just went away because I
• 13:18
  was, I typed his name and then I was like, it's just not there.
• 13:21
  Then I came back then was it the that afternoon or the evening?
• 13:26
  And it just happened 5 minutes it was done or 10 minutes, you
• 13:30
  know. And then I came back the next
• 13:32
  morning and reread it, corrected it, took out a few redundant
• 13:36
  words and a few repeated words and replaced a few words and
• 13:41
  there you go. It was, it was done.
• 13:43
  And that's kind of the way I see with the painting.
• 13:45
  Sometimes it's like, Oh yeah, just skin tones today are not
• 13:48
  working. So I'm going to just go and do a
• 13:51
  lot of base coats or I'm going to prime a bunch more heads
• 13:53
  because that's really easy. That's just messy, you know, as
• 13:59
  you know, if you have an hour to use it and if it's not working
• 14:02
  one way, do something else. You know, if you can, of course,
• 14:08
  that's the crack with that. And why don't we get in to talk
• 14:11
  about the old Armory that we're going to see Legions Con.
• 14:15
  And just to preface this. So I spent hours in Photoshop
• 14:20
  kind of clipping out the bits to kind of make the little thing
• 14:24
  that make the kind of, you know, we're going to do a couple of
• 14:27
  mock ups or whatever. And and then the wonderful Kirby
• 14:31
  Smith posted today. And this was maybe the the last
• 14:35
  mover advantage in in in recording early.
• 14:38
  You know, sometimes when you record late, it's good because
• 14:41
  you get say more news or you get, you know, something that's
• 14:43
  been announced last minute. That was the case here because,
• 14:46
  yeah, he posted a little tool that he'd made on a little
• 14:49
  website where you can actually do what I did.
• 14:51
  But like we just three or four clicks because he's all done all
• 14:54
  the work for you. So fair played the Kirby and you
• 14:59
  guys have fun with that. He's posted the link on the
• 15:01
  Cabal. But I did, I didn't call his
• 15:05
  homework. I actually did this painfully in
• 15:08
  Photoshop and you might see how painful it was.
• 15:12
  And some of them actually it was because some of them, you know,
• 15:16
  are obviously they're beautiful pictures that we look at them
• 15:19
  now in a SEC that of all the parts that were taken, I assume
• 15:23
  Trevor did it. And but some of them are square
• 15:27
  on, which is perfect for doing the foot.
• 15:29
  And some of them are slightly at an angle.
• 15:31
  And then to try and rotate them a little bit in Photoshop to
• 15:35
  make them look good, especially with the pauldrons.
• 15:37
  The pauldrons are a disaster for for all these mock ups.
• 15:41
  But what can you do? Yeah, you get the idea.

  You get to see how the colors go together.
• 15:45
  So anyway, let's. Trying to explain them for our
• 15:48
  listeners. It's a very spending the last
• 15:50
  five minutes apologizing for this.

  Why don't we actually talk about them, right, the Armory?

  So this was announced last week on Jeremy's show with the

  conversations and then also he did the posts on the different

  social medias. So he said that the Legions Con
• 16:15
  Armory experience is essentially a build a figure experience for
• 16:19
  Allegiance Con 2024. So who who guessed that?

  Did anyone? Did we did we come to that
• 16:23
  conclusion at any stage? Did we, did we mention?
• 16:25
  I'm sure we did mention something similar, no?
• 16:29
  I think we did, but we mentioned quite a few different ideas.

  Yeah, I don't think we settled as a definite did we were.

  I think it was one of the many ideas floated about.

  You know, my my impression from when they put the two green
• 16:42
  figures up at that eh eh condit they were at eh was that it was
• 16:48
  definitely A2 pack because I didn't think those figures went
• 16:53
  together as such in terms of the head on the other one.

  But now we get what it was. And I actually found going
• 17:00
  through this that the heads are the thing that I would probably
• 17:04
  most likely replace and a lot of these figures, which is great.

  It's been 10 years of mythic leaves and smile, you know, come

  back to us in was it 7 years now?

  Something like that, isn't it? Yeah.

  No, no, it's very cool. I'm only messing around.

  Obviously, I'm sure cosmic this if this works well, cosmic will

  be down the track. And to be honest, I would be
• 18:06
  personally very excited about Cosmic Armory experience as well

  considering all the, you know, even if it just was a century
• 18:13
  built all the different things they could do with it.

  Yeah, yeah, sure. So.

  And this is a good dry run for Legions Con next year where it's
• 18:20
  build your own dragon. So what color wings you want,

  what color claws, all that sort of stuff.

  So this is a perfect dry run for it.

  What hair do you want? A three headed dragon?

  2 headed one, Yeah, it's just going to cost a little bit more,

  you know, for the figure at the end.

  But otherwise, no asset, no bother.

  You have to back a personal Kickstarter for your dragon.

  I had flat battery the other day that wrote a, a or whatever the

  So the selet is the one that you would have classically saw on

  Valiant Night. That's the one that it came

  packaged with. There wasn't well, but you said

  the Joust 1 is the one the classic.
