- 0:05Speaker 1: All right, Today we're going to dive into some AI
- 0:09Speaker 1: agents that I think you guys are gonna love. It's
- 0:10Speaker 1: gonna be interesting. We had a good interview for you,
- 0:12Speaker 1: so stick around. My name is Smaul Bearer. Welcome back
- 0:14Speaker 1: into tech path. Let's get started today. I want to
- 0:16Speaker 1: thank our sponsor and that's Tangentum. This is a great
- 0:18Speaker 1: place to do your own self custody and you can
- 0:20Speaker 1: do it with the Tangent card.
- 0:22Speaker 2: And this works really cool. It works with the phone.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Whether you've got an iPhone or an Android doesn't matter.
- 0:28Speaker 1: The card, of course, is an NFC card and once
- 0:30Speaker 1: you slide it into your phone, it's a perfect way
- 0:33Speaker 1: to get started on self custody. So you can move
- 0:35Speaker 1: your tokens off of centralized exchanges and.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Move over to Tangum. So check it out.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Just hit that little get Tangent button right there. It's
- 0:41Speaker 1: going to get you into the three card set. You
- 0:43Speaker 1: guys can do a lot of cool stuff here in
- 0:45Speaker 1: terms of the cards you get. Use our code down
- 0:47Speaker 1: below to get started. All right, so you guys know
- 0:49Speaker 1: we covered raposa coffee not too long ago. We were
- 0:53Speaker 1: talking with Andrew. We've done a couple of videos around
- 0:57Speaker 1: the topic of, you know, kind of the innovation, what's
- 1:00Speaker 1: been happening with figitals, the physical and the digital component
- 1:04Speaker 1: of products and services, kind of what Raposa has been
- 1:06Speaker 1: able to bring the market from the NFT and the
- 1:09Speaker 1: collectible side.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Well, they broke out.
- 1:11Speaker 1: With a new slant here and it's an interesting one.
- 1:14Speaker 1: So we thought, hey, let's get Andrew on and chat
- 1:16Speaker 1: about it. So Andrew, let's get you into the show.
- 1:19Speaker 3: How's it going, man, it's going great. Glad to be back.
- 1:23Speaker 3: I think it's been almost a year, and yeah, it couldn't.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Be happy, right yeah, right out a year that we
- 1:28Speaker 1: started talking with you guys.
- 1:29Speaker 2: So obviously we have to.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Kind of break down a little bit about what you
- 1:33Speaker 1: guys are doing. And I want to get into Kitsune,
- 1:35Speaker 1: which is agent Kitsune dot Ai. Tell me a little
- 1:39Speaker 1: bit about what you guys are up to here.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Yeah, So the mission of Raposa from the beginning has
- 1:48Speaker 3: been always pioneering coffee's digital frontier. And we started with
- 1:53Speaker 3: you know, the figitals, we started with the NFT, the
- 1:55Speaker 3: collectibles on chain loyalty, and we saw this shift that
- 1:59Speaker 3: was happened, I mean in the market. I think that
- 2:01Speaker 3: we all realized is that on chain agents and AI
- 2:06Speaker 3: is kind of this next frontier forward in pushing blockchain,
- 2:11Speaker 3: like where blockchain can meet the real world. And what
- 2:14Speaker 3: we basically did with our partners at Griffin is we
- 2:17Speaker 3: built the first fully functioning on chain commerce agent that
- 2:22Speaker 3: is directly integrated with Shopify. Version one is essentially built
- 2:27Speaker 3: based on the Raposa storefront and can it knows everything
- 2:32Speaker 3: there is to know about all of our products, inventory levels.
- 2:36Speaker 3: It is an information pipeline, can give recommendations based on
- 2:40Speaker 3: customer preferences or past orders and ordered directly within the agent.
- 2:48Speaker 3: With agent to agent seamless on chain payments that can
- 2:53Speaker 3: basically obviously improve revenue, increase customer retention tech those margins
- 3:00Speaker 3: right where I think we've seen this vision of what
- 3:04Speaker 3: on chain payments can be, and we'd been building Raposa
- 3:09Speaker 3: with that, with that ingrained in our in our blood.
- 3:12Speaker 3: So this next step forward is like, how can we
- 3:15Speaker 3: bring this agent experience to our consumers? And then phase
- 3:20Speaker 3: two is how can we expand that to other brands
- 3:23Speaker 3: more than Raposa or other product.
- 3:25Speaker 1: This is integrated now with your current Shopify account.
- 3:30Speaker 3: It's yeah, fully functioning. We launched exactly a week ago,
- 3:35Speaker 3: and we've spent the last seven seven days every day
- 3:39Speaker 3: making some sort of improvements. We introduce this different query functions.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Before it was searching products from collections and then recommending
- 3:48Speaker 3: products from those collections. Now we're in where it can
- 3:52Speaker 3: actually understand different metadata fields that we set and shopify.
- 3:57Speaker 3: So if I say, hey, agent consume, what coldbrews do
- 4:01Speaker 3: you have in stock? It'll find those specific ones, it'll
- 4:04Speaker 3: recommend the variety pack. And then further, we've expanded to
- 4:09Speaker 3: more products outside of our own coffee products, so we've
- 4:12Speaker 3: added tope bag, sunglasses, a bunch of different items. And
- 4:16Speaker 3: now if you search, hey, Kitsune, what tope bags do
- 4:20Speaker 3: you have in stock? It'll spit out the three tote
- 4:22Speaker 3: bags that we have listed, the prices, the details, and
- 4:25Speaker 3: then allow you instantly to make a purchase from your
- 4:29Speaker 3: agent s wallet to our agent s wallet.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Okay, so we're going to dive into that because that,
- 4:35Speaker 1: to me was kind of the killer component here of
- 4:38Speaker 1: where you guys are going. I want to show something
- 4:39Speaker 1: on your website, and this I thought was a good
- 4:41Speaker 1: statement for people to really understand Amazon Star with the.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Books Consuna is starting with coffee.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Our goal is to prove Consun's utility and viability as
- 4:48Speaker 1: a leader in a Gentic commerce in this again all
- 4:51Speaker 1: on Solana. So interesting that this could be scaled quickly
- 4:56Speaker 1: into the Shopify ecosystem. There's a couple of tweets here
- 5:00Speaker 1: I want to hit on. One is if you look at
- 5:03Speaker 1: your partners, You've got a lot of key partners here.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Obviously that lines up within it. Some of the ones
- 5:08Speaker 1: I want to talk about is Venta, Salana Pay, and then.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Of course Helio.
- 5:13Speaker 1: All right, those three all integrated into payments, what that
- 5:17Speaker 1: future might look like. Explain a little bit more of
- 5:20Speaker 1: how that is working and what are your plans going
- 5:23Speaker 1: forward with this.
- 5:25Speaker 3: This is exactly kind of why we took this leap
- 5:27Speaker 3: into making this agent and this framework, because we are
- 5:32Speaker 3: so well connected with these people and these companies that
- 5:36Speaker 3: have been handling on chape payments and pioneering on chain
- 5:39Speaker 3: payments from the day that we started Raposa. I'm pretty
- 5:43Speaker 3: close with the head of Payments and Commerce at the
- 5:45Speaker 3: Salana Foundation, Josh Freed, and he basically described Slana pays
- 5:53Speaker 3: any payment. It doesn't have to be the actual Salona
- 5:56Speaker 3: pay application, it's any payment that's utilizing Salana to transact
- 6:01Speaker 3: with Solana or Solana USDC. So essentially we have integrated
- 6:05Speaker 3: Solana pay in our agent as is. I think there's
- 6:09Speaker 3: plenty of room to integrate Helio and the incredible tech
- 6:13Speaker 3: that they've built and now have been acquired by Moonpay.
- 6:17Speaker 3: I think with our partners from Venta, it's very easy
- 6:20Speaker 3: and possible for us to bring this agent experience to
- 6:25Speaker 3: real life, to our in person events they are in
- 6:28Speaker 3: person point of sales provider and integrating Kitsune where it
- 6:33Speaker 3: can be more of an experience that understands who the
- 6:36Speaker 3: consumer is that's ordering, can make proper recommendations, and also
- 6:41Speaker 3: streamline back into our back end, our Shopify back end
- 6:44Speaker 3: for inventory management, data collection. All of these things, I
- 6:47Speaker 3: think is kind of the vision that we're seeing right
- 6:51Speaker 3: is like start with coffee with our existing partners, and
- 6:54Speaker 3: then let's see where we can expand from there.
- 6:56Speaker 1: All right, so lockdownpack here. I think in general, what okay,
- 7:00Speaker 1: so what AI framework are you guys using right now?
- 7:04Speaker 1: Are you using Eliza or What's what's kind of the
- 7:06Speaker 1: plan here?
- 7:06Speaker 3: So it's it's built on Griffin and Griffin has basically
- 7:11Speaker 3: developed their own network of agents and what Griffin describes
- 7:16Speaker 3: as as they call themselves the super app of Solana
- 7:20Speaker 3: and anatotally, the founder of Solana has has also uh
- 7:24Speaker 3: you know, called them out as and and and supported
- 7:27Speaker 3: them as being this chat gbt esque built on Solana
- 7:32Speaker 3: for on chain agents, on chain payments. Right now, Kitsune
- 7:36Speaker 3: is built based on their framework, their platform, but we
- 7:39Speaker 3: do see a future where we can take Kitsune outside
- 7:43Speaker 3: of again, outside of the Griffin ecosystem, where there's applications
- 7:48Speaker 3: that can be placed directly on other on our Shopify store,
- 7:51Speaker 3: on other brand Shopify stores that we work with, and
- 7:54Speaker 3: then in person as well. Right, I think one of
- 7:56Speaker 3: the really cool things that is coming up and I
- 7:59Speaker 3: saw I think you mentioned on Wednesday's stream is that
- 8:05Speaker 3: we actually got a grant from the Salona Foundation to
- 8:08Speaker 3: bring agent Katsune into the real world and essentially integrate
- 8:14Speaker 3: it with a robotic barista that we'll have at Salona's
- 8:18Speaker 3: biggest event in May in New York City. So we're
- 8:21Speaker 3: very excited about that as well.
- 8:23Speaker 2: That's going to be huge.
- 8:24Speaker 1: And of course you guys were able to go live
- 8:26Speaker 1: here with some deliveries.
- 8:27Speaker 2: I was interested. It was interesting to see you deliver
- 8:30Speaker 2: some underwear.
- 8:32Speaker 3: First.
- 8:32Speaker 2: I love the fact that we that we have that going.
- 8:35Speaker 1: And then of course there's Boyoku Bland right there coming
- 8:39Speaker 1: in as well, so the first agent to agent purchase,
- 8:41Speaker 1: which is kind of interesting. I mean, we are really
- 8:43Speaker 1: cracking into a new era in commerce. I think that's
- 8:47Speaker 1: the thing that people do not realize here. Shopify obviously
- 8:50Speaker 1: one of the biggest platforms out there. The integration that
- 8:53Speaker 1: this could mean for Shopify and any Shopify account out there,
- 8:57Speaker 1: this could be huge.
- 8:59Speaker 3: Yeah, and that's our vision, right and it's kind of
- 9:04Speaker 3: why we put a pause on some of the things
- 9:07Speaker 3: that we were working on to really hone in and
- 9:09Speaker 3: focus on building this out with Griffin. We spent the
- 9:12Speaker 3: last six weeks developing and iterating from our Shopify back
- 9:17Speaker 3: end and their platform to really make this thing work.
- 9:22Speaker 3: If we're able to have brands integrate agent Kadsune via
- 9:26Speaker 3: a Shopify app, this will be the easiest way, in
- 9:29Speaker 3: my view, to allow brands to enter a new demographic,
- 9:34Speaker 3: a new avenue to sell their products and bring them
- 9:36Speaker 3: on chain in the most seamless way possible. We already
- 9:39Speaker 3: have everything set up. As soon as you integrate Kidsune
- 9:43Speaker 3: it will learn everything there is to know about your products,
- 9:46Speaker 3: it will set you up with a wallet and then
- 9:50Speaker 3: let it do its thing. Right, So all of this
- 9:52Speaker 3: stuff has been ingrained essentially in our companies DNA, so
- 9:57Speaker 3: understanding how e commerce meets crypto, under standing how physical
- 10:01Speaker 3: products meet on chain loyalty, and then of course the
- 10:05Speaker 3: on chain payment's part. So right, we are really excited
- 10:08Speaker 3: for the future of this well, and.
- 10:11Speaker 1: You know, Shopify has been kind of leaning into this
- 10:14Speaker 1: for quite some time. There's been a lot of indicators
- 10:17Speaker 1: that have shown us kind of the direction of where
- 10:19Speaker 1: they're going.
- 10:20Speaker 2: I mean, if you look.
- 10:21Speaker 1: At Tobias, obviously he sets in as a board member
- 10:24Speaker 1: right here on coinbase, so I anticipate we're going to
- 10:27Speaker 1: see some more activity coming.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Out of that.
- 10:29Speaker 1: I want to go over to Agent Consune's Twitter account
- 10:34Speaker 1: and it says, yes, as the remainder of my I've
- 10:36Speaker 1: deployed my token kit named after myself. A quired thirty
- 10:39Speaker 1: percent of the supply vest over six months, ten percent
- 10:43Speaker 1: going to riposa who's dedicated one hundred percent of their community,
- 10:45Speaker 1: ten percent for future development, framework and interaction, ten percent
- 10:49Speaker 1: to partnerships and air drops.
- 10:51Speaker 2: So I can infiltrate the minds of many. I love it.
- 10:55Speaker 1: And then there's contract address. Obviously we've seen this over
- 10:57Speaker 1: on deck screener. I'm looking at it right now. Looks
- 11:00Speaker 1: like about forty three hundred holders on the token itself.
- 11:06Speaker 1: So this is a good layout of really almost in
- 11:10Speaker 1: essence the plan which is in Many people love to
- 11:13Speaker 1: see this kind of exposure, but of course it's being
- 11:15Speaker 1: an AI agent. Any other plans of what this AI
- 11:19Speaker 1: agent is going to do with the token side of
- 11:22Speaker 1: Kitsune being.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Kid I think the goal right, and we have kind
- 11:26Speaker 3: of this detailed plan of token usage and utility that
- 11:29Speaker 3: we haven't quite released publicly yet. I've touched on it,
- 11:33Speaker 3: but our goal is to integrate it as much as
- 11:36Speaker 3: possible with Kitsune, whether it's on the consumer side or
- 11:40Speaker 3: the brand acquisition side. We want to incentivize usage of orders,
- 11:47Speaker 3: we want to utilize revenue and transaction volume to potentially
- 11:55Speaker 3: buy back tokens. Like we're trying to integrate many ways
- 12:00Speaker 3: that Kitsune or kit the token specifically is integrated into
- 12:03Speaker 3: the agent experience. A lot of I think a lot
- 12:07Speaker 3: of agents that have tokens associated with them that we've
- 12:11Speaker 3: seen in the past have either gated usage to their
- 12:15Speaker 3: agent or experience by requiring a holder to hold x
- 12:21Speaker 3: amount of tokens to use this agent, whether it's a
- 12:23Speaker 3: trading bod or so on and so forth. That model
- 12:26Speaker 3: doesn't make sense for commerce right because we want to
- 12:29Speaker 3: encourage as many people as possible to be using this
- 12:32Speaker 3: agent and shopping through the agent. What makes sense is, Okay,
- 12:36Speaker 3: let's get as much transactional volume through kitsune as possible
- 12:40Speaker 3: and see how that way we can support the token
- 12:43Speaker 3: through buybacks or holding x amount of token to get
- 12:48Speaker 3: three months worth of coffee, or hold x amount of
- 12:51Speaker 3: token to get thirty percent off all products sold through kitsune, right,
- 12:55Speaker 3: like incorporating it into our irl events. There's a ton
- 12:58Speaker 3: of stuff that we have planned more than your typical
- 13:02Speaker 3: AI agent in crypto.
- 13:04Speaker 1: A lot of people will say, well, okay, well, what's
- 13:06Speaker 1: the argument for an AI agent needing to use crypto?
- 13:10Speaker 1: Give me give me your response to that. For brands
- 13:14Speaker 1: that are out there asking that question right now.
- 13:16Speaker 3: It is the most free, trustless and seamless payment processing possible.
- 13:26Speaker 3: You don't have to avoid your two to three percent
- 13:29Speaker 3: fees from credit cards from PayPal, don't wait days for
- 13:33Speaker 3: money to clear to hit your account. There's so many
- 13:36Speaker 3: applications now and I think now with this pro crypto
- 13:39Speaker 3: administration in place, we're going to start to see a
- 13:43Speaker 3: lot more regulations where a lot more big companies. And
- 13:47Speaker 3: I've already seen it personally, which I can give. I
- 13:49Speaker 3: could give a little story about a lot of big
- 13:51Speaker 3: companies wanting to accept USDC or Stables or even Swana
- 13:56Speaker 3: or other cryptos as payment. The problem is that it's
- 13:59Speaker 3: still pretty hard for especially companies that have e commerce
- 14:03Speaker 3: stores to do that. There's a Salona Pay Shopify plug
- 14:07Speaker 3: in that requires definitely a bit of onboarding. But what
- 14:11Speaker 3: we're basically proposing here with agent Katsune is that you
- 14:16Speaker 3: are able to have this twenty four to seven digital
- 14:19Speaker 3: worker that is ingrained in web three right that can
- 14:23Speaker 3: do that, can do Salona play pay plus more that
- 14:27Speaker 3: could eventually integrate with your marketing flows, Utilize your existing
- 14:31Speaker 3: discounts to push the right ones based on the consumer preferences,
- 14:35Speaker 3: create autonomously create new discounts to push that specific customer
- 14:41Speaker 3: to make an additional purchase, increase revenue, and you're saving
- 14:47Speaker 3: across the board, right Like It's kind of a no
- 14:49Speaker 3: brainer and a very low cost. Just from an onboarding perspective,
- 14:53Speaker 3: It's going to be seamless, it's gonna be easy, and
- 14:56Speaker 3: the cost will be minimal.
- 14:58Speaker 1: So you've been able to do this within the Raposa brand.
- 15:02Speaker 1: You look at open ai and just look at opening Operator.
- 15:06Speaker 1: This is an example right here on Instacart. This is
- 15:09Speaker 1: a pretty big breakthrough, you know, when you think about
- 15:12Speaker 1: agentic commerce in general. So really when you look at that,
- 15:17Speaker 1: first of all, is this potentially going to break what
- 15:21Speaker 1: we've already seen developed so far out of the companies
- 15:24Speaker 1: like open ai and others that have already kind of
- 15:26Speaker 1: moved into the e commerce space.
- 15:28Speaker 3: As we build, we will begin to compete with stuff
- 15:31Speaker 3: like open ai. The speed of the industry is really fast,
- 15:35Speaker 3: and I think we're extremely determined and well positioned to
- 15:38Speaker 3: begin to compete with some of these things in the
- 15:41Speaker 3: near future.
- 15:41Speaker 1: The speed to market in which crypto or Web three
- 15:45Speaker 1: native developers move versus traditional Web two it's not even
- 15:50Speaker 1: it's not even on.
- 15:51Speaker 2: The same planets.
- 15:52Speaker 1: So that's a huge that's a huge opportunity going forward.
- 15:55Speaker 2: All right, let's talk about cups.
- 15:57Speaker 1: This is your NFT collection, any integration that will come
- 16:01Speaker 1: into the NFT collection with kitsune. Is there a tie
- 16:05Speaker 1: in here at some point?
- 16:07Speaker 3: Yeah. I think the beauty with cups and what we've
- 16:10Speaker 3: built for the last two and a half years with
- 16:12Speaker 3: them is we have this die hard community of brand
- 16:16Speaker 3: loyalists who ride or die for Raposa, and we basically
- 16:20Speaker 3: have this built in beta test network to send them
- 16:26Speaker 3: to go try kit, break it, tell us what's wrong,
- 16:29Speaker 3: tell us what's good right, and we have this community
- 16:31Speaker 3: that allows us to iterate more quickly. I think from
- 16:36Speaker 3: a reward or loyalty standpoint, the same things that we
- 16:41Speaker 3: offer in the store will apply through kitsune, so discounted products,
- 16:45Speaker 3: this discount of coffee, if you're holding these things. And
- 16:47Speaker 3: as you pointed out just before, with the tokenomics, we
- 16:51Speaker 3: have received ten percent of the kit token allocation and
- 16:55Speaker 3: we've dedicated all of it to the Raposa community. So
- 16:59Speaker 3: we have announce yet how that will be released, how
- 17:03Speaker 3: that will be rewarded, but it is something that we
- 17:07Speaker 3: aren't rushing to do because we want to make sure
- 17:09Speaker 3: we do it right. We have this new community of
- 17:11Speaker 3: kit holders specifically that we want to make sure that
- 17:14Speaker 3: they're treated right as well. So it'll be a delicate balance.
- 17:18Speaker 3: But I think what has happened is that we've expanded
- 17:22Speaker 3: now the realm of our posta supporters and who believe
- 17:27Speaker 3: in this vision that we're pioneering coffee's digital frontier. And
- 17:31Speaker 3: I think that, and we talked about this last time
- 17:33Speaker 3: I was on here, that support, that community support is
- 17:37Speaker 3: something that brands pay hundreds and thousands and potentially millions
- 17:42Speaker 3: of dollars for. We launched when Solano is twenty dollars
- 17:47Speaker 3: and we're here today and luckily have developed a very
- 17:50Speaker 3: close relationship with the Foundation. We do all of their events,
- 17:53Speaker 3: They stock our coffee and their offices, and I have
- 17:57Speaker 3: no doubt that they'll help to continue to push forward
- 18:01Speaker 3: and Kitsune and Riposa as all well.
- 18:03Speaker 2: I like it.
- 18:04Speaker 1: I think we're going to see some pretty cool things
- 18:06Speaker 1: coming from you guys. I got to jump to the
- 18:09Speaker 1: idea of gaming right now.
- 18:11Speaker 2: I'm just showing.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Virtuals here, but if you look at and I'm kind
- 18:14Speaker 1: of zoom in on this a little bit, you'll notice
- 18:16Speaker 1: there's some locations in here, and then there's a bar.
- 18:18Speaker 1: You know, why couldn't that and why couldn't we see
- 18:21Speaker 1: coffee bars inside especially as you get Kitsune out there,
- 18:25Speaker 1: which is an agent. It's a commerce agent, so you've
- 18:27Speaker 1: got the capacity of in game. And we've talked about
- 18:31Speaker 1: this with the guys over at Bite to talk about
- 18:34Speaker 1: how this could really change in game ordering and integration
- 18:38Speaker 1: with things. What is the possibility of going that direction.
- 18:42Speaker 3: I think it's highly likely. We've had several calls already
- 18:47Speaker 3: with similar metaverse type companies as virtuals. We actually did
- 18:54Speaker 3: like this beta test almost a year and a half ago,
- 18:57Speaker 3: I think before I was on last time where we
- 19:01Speaker 3: had a partnership where they purchased a I forget how
- 19:05Speaker 3: many gift cards, and what they did was they put
- 19:08Speaker 3: those gift cards in their virtual store in the metaverse
- 19:12Speaker 3: to give out as rewards to their holders or their
- 19:16Speaker 3: their players. And I guess that next step is right,
- 19:19Speaker 3: Like we can actually have Kitsune enter a metaverse as
- 19:24Speaker 3: an agent and set up a Raposa storefront or x
- 19:27Speaker 3: y Z storefront brand storefront and have that shopify connection
- 19:33Speaker 3: built in right and basically have the inventory, have the
- 19:37Speaker 3: purchasing and as these players have currency or their metaversus
- 19:43Speaker 3: tokens or USDC whatever it is, we can allow them
- 19:46Speaker 3: to shop agentically and I think that's a huge step
- 19:50Speaker 3: and I think we'll start to see a lot more
- 19:52Speaker 3: of these, like in in game shopping experiences that are
- 20:00Speaker 3: not only autonomous but supporting the un chain payments.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Right, yeah, Key, I was looking at this tweet by
- 20:06Speaker 1: Helio and if you look at this, you got Helio Shopify,
- 20:09Speaker 1: Salona Pay, also Moopey all merging now, which is kind
- 20:14Speaker 1: of all part of this. What does this mean for
- 20:18Speaker 1: e commerce, especially around Web three in the future.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I think so that plug in specifically, we've
- 20:27Speaker 3: seen a ton of innovation. I think that was for
- 20:29Speaker 3: almost well over a year ago and we were one
- 20:34Speaker 3: of the first storefronts to integrate that plug in, so
- 20:37Speaker 3: we were accepting Salona pay just from the normal checkout.
- 20:41Speaker 3: We were able to give automatic discounts to our holders
- 20:43Speaker 3: through that plug in, and they've done incredible and credible work. Right.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Agent Consune takes that one step further, Right, It's like,
- 20:51Speaker 3: now you have this agent who can autonomously sell your
- 20:56Speaker 3: products in the most efficient way possible, make sure your
- 21:00Speaker 3: customer is not getting anything that they won't like. Right, Like,
- 21:05Speaker 3: the more people we have working on them, the quicker
- 21:07Speaker 3: will get to this step where everyone will want to
- 21:10Speaker 3: use them.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I think this is going to be a big deal.
- 21:14Speaker 1: With coffee along with other products that are direct to consumer,
- 21:18Speaker 1: recurring memberships or subscriptions are pretty common. Do you think
- 21:22Speaker 1: that is something that will be integrated all into this
- 21:25Speaker 1: in the future.
- 21:27Speaker 3: One hundred percent being able to have an effective variability
- 21:32Speaker 3: to subscriptions, right, because maybe somebody doesn't want the same
- 21:35Speaker 3: exact thing every month on the same day. But if
- 21:38Speaker 3: we can have an agent that is learning the consumer's
- 21:42Speaker 3: typical buying patterns where a subscription might not be necessary
- 21:46Speaker 3: but it's essentially built in, right.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Well, that's the thing right there, because retail, I mean,
- 21:51Speaker 1: I'm a member a subscriber of many a lot of
- 21:55Speaker 1: direct to consumer products, and I look at the way
- 21:58Speaker 1: because I have a habit with certain things, is that
- 22:00Speaker 1: you kind of have to cycle through. Even Amazon to
- 22:02Speaker 1: a certain extent does this now with setting up subscriptions.
- 22:06Speaker 2: But the problem is is that it doesn't really know
- 22:08Speaker 2: your use habits.
- 22:08Speaker 1: It doesn't have that connection that maybe an agent would,
- 22:13Speaker 1: which would eliminate a lot of this kind of scenario
- 22:15Speaker 1: that we're facing, you know, in the subscription side of
- 22:18Speaker 1: the business today. So I agree with you. One other
- 22:20Speaker 1: thing I want to hit on is gift cards. So
- 22:23Speaker 1: I'm looking over at GGX, and this is a good
- 22:26Speaker 1: example when you look at gift cards as potential air drops. Okay,
- 22:31Speaker 1: could an AI agent at some point get into where
- 22:34Speaker 1: you could start seeing arbitrage around gift cards based on
- 22:38Speaker 1: let's say, for instance, you're a Chipotle you know, let's
- 22:41Speaker 1: jump over. Well, we're on the Chipotle page right there,
- 22:43Speaker 1: and you you know, for whatever reason, an air drop
- 22:47Speaker 1: has dropped to me. But I'm not a Chipotle user, okay,
- 22:50Speaker 1: And I want to arbitrage or I want to go
- 22:52Speaker 1: to an open market and sell that to a you know,
- 22:54Speaker 1: someone that is a user. And the potential for that
- 22:57Speaker 1: obviously having access to that wallet information and how that
- 23:02Speaker 1: you know, retail user is consuming products, that's going to
- 23:06Speaker 1: be a pretty big deal. Do you think that would
- 23:07Speaker 1: be something in the future that could go down in
- 23:10Speaker 1: the gift card space.
- 23:12Speaker 3: I could see that being a possibility for sure. I mean,
- 23:15Speaker 3: it's funny you brought up gift cards because we we
- 23:17Speaker 3: even did that in the early days of raposa cups
- 23:21Speaker 3: NFT collection is we tokenized gift cards and discounts and rewards,
- 23:26Speaker 3: and because we did that, we allowed them to be
- 23:30Speaker 3: tradeable and shoppable. So we we had supporters in the
- 23:34Speaker 3: early days actually that loved the idea but didn't love
- 23:37Speaker 3: coffee funny enough, right, And if they won a gift
- 23:41Speaker 3: card in one of our giveaways and they want, you know,
- 23:43Speaker 3: one hundred dollars off the store, like, we allowed them
- 23:46Speaker 3: the opportunity essentially by tokenizing it to go on one
- 23:50Speaker 3: of the NFT marketplaces, listening it and having someone by it.
- 23:54Speaker 3: So I think for sure, if there's a way to
- 23:56Speaker 3: automate that process where it's going from going to somebody
- 24:01Speaker 3: that the agent knows exactly needs it, I think there's
- 24:05Speaker 3: there's something there.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Well, the size of this market.
- 24:08Speaker 1: I was looking at some of the data coming in
- 24:10Speaker 1: from the Market Insights closed loop gift cards around two trillion,
- 24:15Speaker 1: four trillion on the overall market value by twenty thirty two.
- 24:19Speaker 1: So just that's a massive market for where griff are
- 24:24Speaker 1: so interesting stuff out here. I want to go to
- 24:26Speaker 1: another I want to get your opinion on this, because
- 24:28Speaker 1: this is something that's happening right now. Obviously we know
- 24:31Speaker 1: and have talked about Solana and the seekerphone, the Saga
- 24:34Speaker 1: prior to this, the potential here for air drops, agentic commerce,
- 24:41Speaker 1: and the potential for tying in projects and brands. All
- 24:45Speaker 1: of this now kind of really a new marketing tool.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Any plans to work with Solona on the Seeker.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Agent, Kntsun will be on the Seeker because Griffin will
- 24:58Speaker 3: be integrated with Salon a Seekert. So from my understanding
- 25:04Speaker 3: that it will be kind of like this the chat
- 25:06Speaker 3: GBT of the Salona Seekert. So within Griffin, you'll be
- 25:09Speaker 3: able to find Kitsune, which is running the commerce hub,
- 25:13Speaker 3: and be able to interact and shop with it directly
- 25:15Speaker 3: on the phone. And I think that's step one, right,
- 25:18Speaker 3: Like we want to expand, uh from there, But I
- 25:20Speaker 3: think just you know, we love our partners at Griffin.
- 25:25Speaker 3: We couldn't have done this without them. They couldn't have
- 25:27Speaker 3: done this without us, with with going through all of
- 25:30Speaker 3: the pains and the and the struggles with Shopify integrating
- 25:34Speaker 3: and our experience and data from being an on chain
- 25:38Speaker 3: brand for for the last two plus years. But yeah,
- 25:42Speaker 3: I think we're We're grateful to be in that ecosystem
- 25:45Speaker 3: for sure.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Very cool. What do you what is your take on this? You? Uh,
- 25:51Speaker 2: you look at.
- 25:51Speaker 1: What's happening with Trump and many of his you know
- 25:55Speaker 1: efforts in the blockchain space.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Uh, the one.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Of his brands, the Cologne brand, basically is taking Salona
- 26:02Speaker 1: pay right now. So you've got Salana pay jumping in.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Do you think this could.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Be a scenario where there's a breakthrough moment on especially
- 26:12Speaker 1: web two retailers they could potentially start to integrate in
- 26:16Speaker 1: much like we've been talking about with being able to
- 26:18Speaker 1: take USDC, banks are now eventually going to start custing crypto.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Even the FED mentioned this the other day with char
- 26:26Speaker 1: Powell saying, Hey, yeah, it's okay for banks to whole crypto.
- 26:29Speaker 1: We think the tides are changing. How quickly do you
- 26:33Speaker 1: think we're going to see this on more websites?
- 26:36Speaker 3: Man, I know that it's happening so fast. I've been
- 26:42Speaker 3: the liaison of a few publicly traded companies with the
- 26:48Speaker 3: Salana Foundation Payments and Commerce team. This urge to kind
- 26:53Speaker 3: of be the first in a specific industry to start
- 26:58Speaker 3: accepting Salana pay, start accepting crypto or salantapay in general.
- 27:02Speaker 3: It allows people and brands the opportunity to still receive
- 27:07Speaker 3: US dollars to their bank accounts and not necessarily USD
- 27:11Speaker 3: to a crypto wallet. So people are starting to do
- 27:15Speaker 3: this now. But I think as soon as there's more
- 27:17Speaker 3: regulation about like how USDC should be handled in accounting
- 27:21Speaker 3: and these crypto transactions, specifically with accounting and taxes, I
- 27:25Speaker 3: think the more we'll see like people don't want to
- 27:29Speaker 3: do that right because there will be fees with any
- 27:31Speaker 3: sort of auto off ramping exactly, And we're going to
- 27:34Speaker 3: start to see more and more, and.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Yeah, the time is here. Finally.
- 27:39Speaker 1: We've been talking about this for I feel like five
- 27:42Speaker 1: years that this evolution is coming, and now we're actually
- 27:47Speaker 1: starting to see it. Obviously, the element of AI and
- 27:50Speaker 1: AI agents I think are going to speed this up,
- 27:52Speaker 1: especially on the commerce side of things. So I'm very
- 27:55Speaker 1: happy that it's you guys that are out there doing
- 27:57Speaker 1: it so as a friend of the show, and it's
