- 0:41Hamster with a blunt penknife the Doctor Who commentary
- 0:44podcast. Finally, not a parody of that
- 0:46but actually, the ridiculous way I say it myself.
- 0:50I'm hated, hey, with the fabulous Loop monoi monoi.
- 0:56See that annoyed take me to the security rule porn star from
- 1:11Hello. Hello.
- 1:16If you just put in Mark, wrote an episode 4.
- 1:39And we're gentlemen, we're going to start with a song.
- 1:42So I'm going to count us in and let's all have a little bit of
- 1:44virile in, you ready? I've for free to do Daisy.
- 1:51Daisy, give me your arms. I can't afford a carriage.
- 2:13Oh, you don't even know the word Gallifrey or to welcome.
- 2:34One. And we left Lena being eaten by
- 2:38a rack. I love her.
- 2:40I do love it when they do like show tunes and we're like the
- 2:45angel, put the Devil in Me, Daleks in Manhattan.
- 2:55Once I found this one then. There's a rocket ship on my way
- 3:08to Mars on a collision course with that one.
- 3:11Yeah, yeah, yeah, foxes, amazing, nothing's as good as
- 3:14Daisy Daisy though. As you anymore show tunes, like
- 3:18the snow is my favorite one, another great show in the
- 3:21Galaxy. Oh, the right, we're talking
- 3:25about racism. I don't really like that one.
- 3:33Very know, it just sounds like the snake that's the songs.
- 3:36Do we stop doing now after? Yeah, I used to oh I got the
- 3:40best one of all songs for time. I do woke up.
- 3:44Today there's something. So nostalgic violence on lost
- 3:50for a minute. Anyway they'll is dead that's
- 3:54it. Yeah, all over the walls to make
- 3:58it look like there's blood there.
- 3:59You know, is that it's a nice detail on.
- 4:03He says at the end of the story something about the rats did how
- 4:06did He say that they're going to get sorted out all cleared up or
- 4:08there is a line. I noticed last time I watched
- 4:11can you make them smile on again there was something he said
- 4:14about the rats look out for it. Do you know that a poor Louise
- 4:17Jameson was very sick during these scenes and she's forced to
- 4:21walk around in underwear and get herself.
- 4:23Very wet, indeed, I win. I bet there's something out
- 4:25there that can see how dare you. Come on this podcast, sorry,
- 4:38make it sexually been sexually, then I live my life.
- 4:47Your bio big song without a bit of flow in.
- 4:57Right, let's go. If I had my leg more by a giant
- 5:01rap though, I won't just be able to walk it off right rats, like
- 5:05full of infection. And stuff Ali I would be really
- 5:09scared about believers. They actually I just got a shoe
- 5:13maybe just sort of lichter Mark raw maybe he licked.
- 5:36Very disappointing last meal, but the doctors shot him.
- 5:40I mean, that's quite harsh in it.
- 5:42Yeah. But Tom Baker takes a piss,
- 5:43isn't he? Put, he kills what's so Lon?
- 5:47Brain of morbius. Just cyanides Mom, I love that
- 5:50like that dog. Yeah, why not?
- 5:53We'll have a go at Colin Baker. Hey, you know, cyanide in shock.
- 5:58I yeah. And blowing out the Cyber
- 5:59leader, but, you know, troughton's going around and
- 6:01sees the deaf murder in ice water is left, right?
- 6:03You know, it's just how it's done, isn't it?
- 6:06It's just that it's done in in Season 22 and in the two,
- 6:10doctors, it's just so vulgar. It's like the the story is
- 6:15anyway, but it's quite something to see the doctor and really for
- 6:19ages strangle and like put the cyanide on it.
- 6:24And I would say there's a fabulous, Exposition seen in a
- 6:26minute, right? And then Lila cut some all dead
- 6:29when she walks in the dress and no one can speak because she
- 6:32looks so beautiful. Oh yeah.
- 6:34And life is says perfectly. Charming.
- 6:39It's really such a nice blow. Wouldn't you just love to to
- 6:42chat with life? What did I do?
- 6:49I want to start by going like, for from beginning.
- 6:51Now, after this, it does make, you know what's interesting?
- 6:55Is it they stepped from this. Oh.
- 7:08I think that Jacob would like for these really strong for the
- 7:12first six seasons and then it does start to Trail off a bit
- 7:16even that's a fair, right? This layer.
- 7:18Yeah, but it does have 30 by the actually it's got 14 with that
- 7:21weird audio. What it was when people should
- 7:24obviously travel back to the past which was very sad and
- 7:26people are going o cut off and its prime.
- 7:28I'm like, berries, you've had plenty, you got a lot of content
- 7:32there, you know and we had J go like foot and Strax please.
- 7:35Well So I like structs a lighter, green light for I did
- 7:39not like that story. It's a bizarre mix it.
- 7:41That's that's that a to be big finish thing.
- 7:44They do. Right?
- 7:45Element and River Song and Captain night from the web of
- 7:47fear. Alfie Kohn.
- 7:48Yeah, and Jago turns up in a paternoster story but it does
- 7:55sound old Christopher Benjamin by that point because I think
- 7:58like for Chatterbox dude, gone for a few years by that point.
- 8:03And he does sound a bit sad and that Made me sad.
- 8:07Let's the to it. I think the river song One, it
- 8:10has Jago in running the theater before.
- 8:12Yeah, I think he's in that one as well.
- 8:15Can I just say, you know, take food tray go here?
- 8:17Yeah. It's just saying about how, you
- 8:19know, I get my blood rushing. That's the curtains about to go
- 8:23up. This, let me doing a podcast and
- 8:25then you're like, Casey go. We don't do anything.
- 8:27I don't know. They are such a funny, a guy,
- 8:31I'm sad case he dies because these two are very funny the way
- 8:34he put us in battle. It's and there's a running gag
- 8:38of mrs. Samuel.
- 8:39So the costume woman isn't there?
- 8:41Yeah, because she's coming after me.
- 8:43The old Bloodhound, whenever me and doctor who does this every
- 8:46now and again there's somebody who's mentioned off-screen
- 8:50several times. You're like our man.
- 8:52What would that person? It's like Hyacinth bouquet son.
- 8:55You know ya know it was going to be an absolute monster but you
- 8:58can never see him you know in the love of monsters script
- 9:04elsens flatmate comes in at one point point.
- 9:07I was it lay, doesn't that just change our fan?
- 9:09I always assumed out and lived on his own at some watch that
- 9:12episode 100 times thinking of something, you know, the first
- 9:16episode of The X-Files, they gave Scully a boyfriend and then
- 9:22before are they filmed all the scenes, they edited out all
- 9:24those things because they were aware of the sexual Chemistry
- 9:27Between Scarlet Scully and Mulder.
- 9:29That I know this is more interesting and sometimes taking
- 9:32stuff out adds a lot. Yeah, I think it's better if
- 9:35something. Like you know like Rebus
- 9:38operation graph indicate, he keeps going on about his brother
- 9:41that took the throne, hopefully you guys can or in Carnival of
- 9:44monsters. I keep talking about President
- 9:46desorb Carly's brother, I love that.
- 9:49I love it when it's times all riverhounds.
- 9:51Well, I mean, Russell T, Davies does that best as the only
- 9:54describes time or in little bursts?
- 9:56The timelines that just give my only knowledge in the cement.
- 10:00Should be, not too low, but the way I see it is that we saw the
- 10:04very last day of the time. Or when it all, just bogged down
- 10:08to just one final attack. So, all the mud stuff happened.
- 10:12Well, before that, that just happened off-screen.
- 10:14Yeah, cause that's the last two minutes, which were very dull.
- 10:18We're probably gonna get Magnus grill, time War at some point
- 10:21only if he's traveling around. Oh yeah, I would say that if
- 10:28anyone is intrigued about picking up, Jay going like foot
- 10:31because I don't think I ever came away from Thailand.
- 10:33Stinking Leo. I felt they were good but
- 10:35probably not good. 2 by 13, so softer.
- 10:39But then I have a bit of a collector, but I listen to,
- 10:43like, the first two series, and I thought it was some of the
- 10:46best big finish I did for, for a long time.
- 10:49And then, I just sort of got sucked in.
- 10:50But David colleagues in the second series as the as the
- 10:53vampire fucking chilling. He wants then first couple of
- 10:57series big finish did the other different aim, each series, or a
- 11:02different drive and that really makes it go.
- 11:05Do you know, I even like the sea XT series.
- 11:07Oh my God, that's great. Just for the best.
- 11:14It's so wonderful. We just miss a scene where Chang
- 11:25goes back to listen. And listen says, you're
- 11:28dismissed, I want nothing more to do with, you got a river.
- 11:31He thinks that Magnus crew is a gold.
- 11:34So he goes right. I'm going to do it.
- 11:36Sacrifice on the stage. So so it's building up all this
- 11:39suspense for the magic show. That's about to happen where
- 11:42he's got the gun out on the doctor.
- 11:45Yeah, it's brilliantly done. So, this is my favorite scene of
- 11:50the six parts. This this magic show that's
- 11:52about to happen now. I mean, just the dr.
- 11:55Alida and then costumes, sat in the Box in a theater that it's
- 11:58just, it's already great. If I'm smoking it.
- 12:01This is the sort of pacing you wouldn't do now.
- 12:04So you'd lose all of this. Yeah, it'd be like be it would
- 12:07be all the plot piece of this story and none of the extras.
- 12:10And I think is the extras that make this, yeah.
- 12:14Johnny, the characters are just so rich, aren't they?
- 12:18I suppose you've got your own men's scattered throughout the
- 12:20audience. I love Jake.
- 12:25Oh, so what he is. Brilliant.
- 12:29And then, yeah, everybody said that those two characters were
- 12:31strong enough to sustain their own show and props.
- 12:34The big finish for proving that point.
- 12:36Yeah. Well, apparently, it was
- 12:37considered around at the time only, they genuinely did.
- 12:42Which? Yeah, they said, that didn't
- 12:43surprise that they wouldn't us, but we got Blake seven instead
- 12:50of the Jeremy. Brett.
- 12:51Sherlock Holmes is, that's what that would look like.
- 12:55It would have been great. You don't bad at all the best
- 12:57British actors. In the Jayco and Lightfoot
- 13:00Series be Sherlock Holmes bubble with fun in there.
- 13:05I know you didn't just like, forget knocked out again in a
- 13:08minute when he comes out. Yeah, here we go.
- 13:15Yeah, the audience. This
- 13:35Made to look like a lot of people do.
- 13:37I love singing in Doctor Who? Yeah, even the three I've done
- 13:43so far but love of monsters. It's got so many good little
- 13:46Tunes it off. See yellow.
- 13:49And then you today, that was the best thing in all of classic.
- 13:54You don't you lalalalala? Yeah, well this is gay.
- 14:14The Highland. Fling.
- 14:20Casey's, like I said, there were monsters.
- 14:22Are what along and he's dead. I'll tell you those, five people
- 14:27look very enthusiastic to suggest the massive audience,
- 14:30only. All this is where he does.
- 14:33Is this is his alliteration. Here is someone else Jake.
- 14:36Oh yeah, so whose legendary Legend to me?
- 14:43I'll actually will not mention big for this again.
- 14:45But Ivy actually see that they audio where he meets Oscar Wilde
- 14:49and they have an alliteration off at the end really am.
- 14:53It was a John Dory script that more Stuff that one line will
- 14:56start sucking forever to come up with.
- 14:59It is brilliant mean basically, anything John Tony Rice has told
- 15:04your people is are we should get some big finish, right?
- 15:06It's on the TV. I don't really agree with that,
- 15:08but he is the one that I think should get the chance and Johnny
- 15:13Morris. I've Johnny Morris as well.
- 15:14Coughing he's pretty consistent to consistent but it doesn't
- 15:18give me the same exciting Fleur that the only does the tingles
- 15:23that look, we're going to watch this whole magic show.
- 15:25House, marvelous turns a cloth inter pixie dust.
- 15:29You've really like, made this better for me now.
- 15:31I know it's real magic though. Not just TV edit from the gun
- 15:36bit, obviously I think. Yeah, I don't function that one.
- 15:51Yeah. Otherwise come on.
- 16:00It's Tom Baker's face here as well.
- 16:02Yeah, the way and just brings it closer to his face.
- 16:07There's a detail as well about Chang where he says that he was
- 16:11just like the son of a peasant man and he would have been a
- 16:14nobody if we really hadn't given him these sort of illustrious
- 16:18magical powers. So he's got, he's kind of got a
- 16:21lot to be thankful for. She's well, motivate such a
- 16:24showdown, but they're not using any words.
- 16:26And it's just high in, because it's in front of the audience's
- 16:29eye view. But Deli, since I'm literally
- 16:31going a little bit on the drums in front of his face.
- 16:49That's a great light as well. You're measuring 50 people did
- 16:51like I got it right. And then when the doctor goes
- 16:58for onto the stage goes into the box, and then walks out there.
- 17:03Why it's so hard to write talk to those that such a constant
- 17:11fine line between serious and comedy and the best writers just
- 17:15seem to get it right? There's just I know I said, I
- 17:18know I had a bit of that off on a Robert Holmes in the off but
- 17:21he's one of the best classic talk to you guys.
- 17:23I wasn't trying to say anything Shane.
- 17:25I don't love him as much. Such as other people, was that a
- 17:30point in remark about me and Steven Moffat there because I'll
- 17:34tell you what, there's one thing that's even more fit and Robert
- 17:36Holmes of got in common, there is absolutely a confidence to
- 17:39their writing. Oh yeah, there's a self
- 17:41assurance to it. Well I Things One tips and too
- 17:44far in the other direction but here we go.
- 17:47That's see things. I think I want from a script.
- 17:49This is confidence and their own style.
- 17:52So I netted never bothers me if someone comes in and doesn't do
- 17:55a story that I Take you like, but it's got its own style about
- 17:58it. Then I'm very happy that I'd
- 18:01say, Moffat, construct a plot better than homes, but I'll say
- 18:05homes, can characterize better than Mafia hit, man.
- 18:09It, then I bring the children together.
- 18:11He knows, dr. You got to get to know how
- 18:14doctor who works. And by this point, he's really,
- 18:17you know, from his earliest groups.
- 18:18Oh yeah, like TVs, just so different homes.
- 18:24Would never have thought about writing anything with it, right?
- 18:26Right. It just two different doesn't
- 18:28doesn't Moffitt and Davies. Both identify Arc in space as
- 18:33their favorite classic who do story.
- 18:35Yeah. How is I think for Davies?
- 18:38It's how its characterized and the atmosphere for Mafia is how
- 18:42its constructed ideas and stuff. Yeah.
- 18:49Everyone stop talking about well we just mesmerized I and I was
- 18:52just waiting for the bit where he works and he audience have
- 18:56fallen about a brilliant. I think what I'm missing is that
- 19:00that drag queen from the rings of akhaten being there with the
- 19:04painted lips, you know? I mean yeah Vic yeah.
- 19:08The could be a caught here with the it cuts to the audience and
- 19:14the rings of akhaten said what shit?
- 19:17What's your name on stage? One thing we haven't mentioned,
- 19:20which is directly stolen from this, and that is the unquiet.
- 19:24Dead has a sequence in a theater with a bit of a show going on.
- 19:28That's, that's been to do with this.
- 19:30It's just said, later, isn't it? Well, they're very different.
- 19:33I think it means Victorian times.
- 19:36I think the only little sticker set.
- 19:38A totally loving loving, the Adoration of the Crowd.
- 19:42Oh, you telling me you don't think gate.
- 19:43It's is capable of cherry-picking from classic Who
- 19:46that's all I'm saying. Take this much of it.
- 19:49I don't think he thought the talents of wing tank when he was
- 19:51writing the unquiet dead. I think he for my exams Wang
- 19:53qiang a lot, he victoriana, he just brought it.
- 19:57That's it, that's quite a common place to set sci-fi, especially,
- 20:01toxic. So, I'm going to find an
- 20:02interview now where he says it very wrong.
- 20:13Thoughts is a law in it. It's how the doctor changes when
- 20:32KC falls out, he goes nothing. It suddenly, this is very
- 20:36serious. And what's great is Grill?
- 20:41Wants to humiliate him after taking him to like, you know,
- 20:44popularity to stardom. Now he's going to Bar hate that
- 20:49bit. Yeah, yeah, I know it's a props
- 20:51or but hate the fact he picks up the actual like, slice bit of
- 20:55the sword when he pulls out. That last one, we're kind of
- 20:58drops it, then he had. Oh yeah.
- 21:00But then he picks it up by the by the slice.
- 21:02My lonely, you should have gone again and I just think I was
- 21:06poor hands, but The bro, I just think that's so horrible.
- 21:10Humiliating my that put him in that box.
- 21:14And now he slinks off to get chewed up by a rat poor Chang.
- 21:19This is exactly how you want the doctor to be, though, isn't it?
- 21:22It's a hero like just enjoying it when it's silly but then
- 21:25really serious when it's nice to be and he goes down to the
- 21:29sewers now, doesn't he says, you know, you've been left to carry
- 21:32the can this is on you now. That's really, really great it.
- 21:38He's a very sophisticated character.
- 21:41Yeah, I think people can only see the problematic parts of his
- 21:45character, but Ashley, then the feel like, you know, it's people
- 21:52just jump on that bit. But they's, the people that
- 21:55actually sit and enjoy, Thailand the wing tank or they just a
- 21:57small little people. The watch part 1 C.
- 22:00And don't actually get further in the story and see the rest of
- 22:02the nation and stuff. But I'm not going to sit and
- 22:05watch it all the way through. And look at the
- 22:08characterization. It sucks.
- 22:13It just trotted in Hayden that stock.
- 22:16He went straight away when commit suicide that yeah wiesen,
- 22:20I did love that. You do you know in episode 1
- 22:22when the guy crunches yeah we totally missed.
- 22:25Oh that's a really good scene, isn't it?
- 22:26What we call it? The sting of the Scorpion on me
- 22:28like a scorpion venom that's nasty.
- 22:35Yeah. It's just just in general with
- 22:37Talons. It's is harder to talk about
- 22:41one. That's really good.
- 22:43Is it without sounding board because it's only so much you
- 22:46can say oh this is great and that's amazing.
- 22:48What do you think there's anything?
- 22:51Would you change anything? No, I don't even find the rap
- 22:54that problematic, which is the one thing people go to.
- 23:00I mean, it's so sort of a leading question for the river.
- 23:04Put in the racism side. So what sighs?
- 23:06You know, I wouldn't change anything.
- 23:08I just it's just a one of the perfect stories.
- 23:10I was introduced a length and generally, for a six-part.
- 23:14Are I would say? Yeah, this could be for, but it
- 23:17would lose so much. It would lose so much.
- 23:19Yeah. This His sometimes always said
- 23:22like to, if you're showing a non-fan, a doctor, who story
- 23:25would you show? No.
- 23:27And this for the first time wouldn't what it?
- 23:30But if it's supposed to be a great story, why?
- 23:33It's a great, it's a great story for people that are into dr.
- 23:39Hey, right. And I think that like I said on
- 23:42part one or whatever that, when I watched in order, I think I
- 23:47appreciated it so much more because I did shows, I did show
- 23:52this to my ex I show two stories, I showed this and time
- 23:58and the Rani because I wanted to show two contrasting scores
- 24:02because he is probably all just old old fashioned and he watched
- 24:05this, they said no that was really fun, I enjoyed that
- 24:07races. But that was fun, then he was
- 24:10hired in the Romney and he went I walked I can't really see much
- 24:13of a difference between the two. Well, that's it.
- 24:15I think normal people just don't see that much vilified.
- 24:18It's just old TV to that and we Take the classics to harm.
- 24:23Don't ever watch the classics with somebody who's not a fan
- 24:27because they're going to watch two different go.
- 24:29Well, that's just embarrassing. Yeah.
- 24:31Like and that's not on them, that's on you for making them
- 24:35watch it and then one in them to love it.
- 24:38Exactly. I showed Rachel city of Death
- 24:40part 1. When I when she gave me the
- 24:42chance social one episode The to Siri like and I thought you know
- 24:47it's got its got every freely you know like you think of the
- 24:50fun. It's like at the location
- 24:52filming. It's funny though.
- 24:53Just nothing, I didn't quite but now it's tarnished.
- 24:57It a bit for me because I know the bitch she was getting bored
- 25:00and was Romano in the doctor running around Paris for ages
- 25:05because that you wouldn't get that pace.
- 25:06And in modern day, which is, I used to love that with the
- 25:09music. But now I think tarnished bad
- 25:13memories. I think.
- 25:14I think the, well, I mean, I can't really say that's a mark
- 25:17who's got a podcast where he's showing some of the user washed.
- 25:20For the entire Runner but I'm amazed how.
- 25:23Well, so he takes it, you're immune to her liking or not
- 25:27liking stuff because you know your what season 15 now, hmm.
- 25:31Buzzer of in a time where she's not like something and you've
- 25:33been like, oh no, I'm never gonna like that again.
- 25:36All the other way. Racial change my opinion of
- 25:38their. I'll change my, but I sometimes
- 25:41it's surprising what she would pick up on or you would think a
- 25:45non-fan would pick up on or not? But I mean, yeah, like this one
- 25:50should really enjoy. This bind.
- 25:51Yeah, I knew that she would enjoy this.
- 25:53I think a non-fan would, I would say a non-fan would enjoy this.
- 25:56Hey, just wanna be the first one to show them because I think
- 25:59when I watched it first, it was like, it was good, but it
- 26:02wasn't. But because wouldn't have
- 26:04convinced me to watch talk to her.
- 26:05If you're showing someone like old TV for the first time, the
- 26:08production in this would be great.
- 26:11So they wouldn't it like for the time like impressive but it's no
- 26:15blow compared to c v. Now this is slow but no, it
- 26:17wouldn't. I think if someone had never
- 26:19seen classes, exhale, And then watch this.
- 26:21They would just say sets, the that we think are really
- 26:26convinced them because we see the rest of Doctor Who, but they
- 26:29would, you'll see a set right? Yeah.
- 26:31I think so and then the Indians. Yeah.
- 26:40That one's the best one. Do you know what it is though?
- 26:42Because he goes, it's the holiday, but it's, but it's all
- 26:47the bad guys in a cab running off into Running off into the
- 26:52night, that's just great. What a cliff and they're all
- 26:55laughing in the heart. Fantastic.
- 26:57Well, are you ready for our next round of questions from Twitter?
- 27:01I just say that do it. This story, I would pick will be
- 27:06remembrance of the Daleks, so that's another shower, set up
- 27:08for it because that's the one that I watched when I was a kid.
- 27:12When I was first getting into classic, talk to us, like, oh my
- 27:15God, this is class. What is I thought that with my
- 27:19niece? Remember the Daleks and then I
- 27:23was stop watching that bit where ice she made me rewind, the
- 27:26sequence, whereas be something.it with baseball bat
- 27:28and jobs for the window also about 50 times as I've ever seen
- 27:32it fucking seen again after this.
- 27:34That is a good bit. So it works.
- 27:37That would be a good one. Yeah.
- 27:39What would you choose the whole of Doctor?
- 27:42Who I don't think you can pick black and white.
- 27:47I think that's huge too much for someone.
- 27:50Maybe actually maybe time? Was he your first episode was
- 27:54called this wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be and
- 27:58that was black and white. Yeah.
- 28:00Yeah. It does come with that extra
- 28:02different. Sort of expectation doesn't have
- 28:03his black and white as well. And now I think the choice may
- 28:08be people that offer bit more or would be a bit more lenient to
- 28:11it because it's black and white. I don't know, maybe start with
- 28:14underworld and then the only way.
- 28:16Yeah, I think if you start as close to modern day, Possible.
- 28:21So, like isil has the story. Yeah, it's a fenric or something
- 28:24like that bitpay. Seriousness.
- 28:26It's got its it looks a bit more like modern that and then throw
- 28:30in the five doctors so they get. So they got Taste, of course,
- 28:32dr. Be like snack on no no we got to
- 28:39say, you can say question, please?
- 28:41Okay, accused of talking over you too many times off you go.
- 28:43No, no, I was gonna say, okay, well I've got a question then
- 28:47for you fellas. It's from very Pete Lambert.
- 28:50The Wonderful people Amber at Professor underscore quite a
- 28:53mess. That's a great name.
- 28:57Have you seen the 60s food Manchu movie?
- 29:00Starring? Christopher Lee.
- 29:01They were huge and often on BBC One in the 70s, definitely an
- 29:04inspiration. You said this to this as
- 29:07Frankenstein Worcester morbius, The Twist that Chang was to see
- 29:10by Grill rather than being the cause of them benevolence gets
- 29:14overlooked. My question is, is the doctor
- 29:17too forgiving of Chang at the end.
- 29:21Such an interesting one, I think he, I feel proper sympathy for
- 29:27Chang even though I shouldn't. But I think that's just the
- 29:32performance is so good that I really do.
- 29:35And so I don't think the doctors to sympathetic but then he does
- 29:39actually like he does kill like 17 girls, so it really shouldn't
- 29:45be sympathetic. The doctor kicks off at other
- 29:48people for a lot less. Any pink already bored?
- 29:54Oh God. On the scales of it maybe is too
- 29:58sympathetic but then I like Changsha.
- 30:01I think it's nice having that sympathy there that you are.
- 30:03Yeah I feel sympathy for him and he is sitting there laughing
- 30:06bye. Rat dying.
- 30:07So it's not like anything you know?
- 30:09He is getting his comeuppance in the narrative, isn't he?
- 30:13Are you sure he's had some pathetic because when Chang is
- 30:15going to come on Chang I want to I need to know and he's dying.
- 30:18He's got and then he just goes Can't get an answer to a simple
- 30:22question and that's what he says after he dies.
- 30:27It's what I mean I think you'd expect so everything is killed
- 30:31seventeen girls. You expect.
- 30:32That socks is go in there and kick him in the face with.
- 30:37Yeah that's a good question. Okay well here's another
- 30:39question. Then from Andrew curnow at
- 30:42Andrew Canal imaginatively were the sigma experiments are
- 30:48success a brilliant success. What?
- 30:52I don't obviously not well, no, it's got a bent face.
- 30:58Is that one? I'll do one more then, sorry,
- 31:00Andrea program, Steve. Alexander lovely.
- 31:06Stephen honesty always read as much as you do.
- 31:09That's why I love having the pair of your.
- 31:12That's the Alexander UK. Why the hell would lie?
- 31:16Let ever dress in her skins again after the outfit?
- 31:19She gets in this story. Re.
- 31:21But I don't think she particularly likes being in
- 31:24these outfits as she looks crushed alive.
- 31:27She looks great. Yeah, yeah, he does go back when
- 31:30she go back after Sighing nothing works, she's not an
- 31:34invisible enemy, she's back in her but that's her character
- 31:38like she's part. Still part of her tribe part of
- 31:42her home and being in that outfit is what she's always
- 31:45known. So I think she has to go back.
- 31:48Although she's sort of evolving in the way learning from the
- 31:50doctor and learning on a on the sort of Journey.
- 31:53But she would, that's her identity, isn't it was still so
- 31:56I mean she does wear that marvelous jumper and horrifying.
- 31:58I'm yeah, I sure ain't scribe nowadays.
- 32:02As you will get the costume evolving with the character.
- 32:05They would do it properly, so that she was learning slowly and
- 32:08the costumes would sort of go with that.
- 32:12I mean, there's no real answer part from to get a legs out for
- 32:16the audience, just like it's a pretty.
- 32:18So you object, no cancelled cancelled.
- 32:32Two forms throughout, don't they, you know, accurate and
- 32:35Tegan and all of that, but leave us having that no Patrick lost
- 32:39his stomach in order like Sarah Jane.
- 32:41They've always had just warm whatever I suppose it is a bit
- 32:44different but it's uniform. Look over a costume.
- 32:48You see what I mean? No, I agree.
- 32:50And I think that I think that's the reason I don't like it more
- 32:54than. So just the other one because I
- 32:56just don't like the companions being in costumes.
- 32:59It just doesn't make them feel real.
- 33:00Yeah. That's what it is.
- 33:02And you No, what I apologize. There is absolutely nothing
- 33:05wrong with admiring, what you see, and you've also admired her
- 33:09acting the characterization. I don't know this, so it's not
- 33:13just like, you're a dirty old perv.
- 33:14What if I was in charge, then I wouldn't have put it laughing.
- 33:24I wouldn't have put it back in the skin.
- 33:28The jumper out of kept her in the Jump.
- 33:30Part is terrific. I just kept changing.
- 33:32Aging it I like I like companions to change costume
- 33:34multi-room on a tee and and angry.
- 33:37Yeah what was and then while I'm sorry it's that red one in
- 33:45Warriors gave amazing. Yeah love the what I loved one
- 33:48from State of Decay with that's that on its Bergen.
- 33:52Yeah nothing like the blond jacket are like the schoolgirl
- 33:55outfit from see it. I'm sure.
- 34:00That's your favorite. Yeah yeah I can't actually think
- 34:03she looks hotter in the in the halls of 9/11 you know she's got
- 34:07her own like dr. Version of the cost.
- 34:08You just sit there are lakes with the pink ocean of yes, it's
- 34:12something fun Alice is in. The only misfire is the
- 34:16nightmare of Eden returns Michelle, wasn't it?
- 34:20She does. She looks so much better when
- 34:26she's rocking. Like a variant of sort of the
- 34:29doctor in a Way like the Blazer and stuff.
- 34:31Are you going to make a point then when I was going to say
- 34:33with leaders cost around this time Doctor Who is you know
- 34:37Peking in popularity and merchandise is coming out and
- 34:40you've got the Lila doll, haven't you?
- 34:41So you need that costume to wear that wreck if she was wearing
- 34:44something different she comes. No you all the merchandise and
- 34:47stuff around this time that a hair on that doll dolls which is
- 34:55the first time you heard that When you said Peking, then
- 34:59people in Peking it's at Peak its people.
- 35:06Okay. She has to do then she's like a
- 35:08lighter one and a darker one. Yeah.
- 35:11That looks good. No, that used to throw me as
- 35:14well. Well, their eyes change in cost
- 35:17like society and of course, Honestly, well, I'll be back on
- 35:30watch episode five. Now, he's never gonna get to his
- 35:32ping pong.
