Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Over the past seven years or so, whenever
• 0:07
Speaker 1: the topic of Jeffrey Epstein would come up, very rarely
• 0:10
Speaker 1: would people talk about Zoro Ranch, and instead you had
• 0:13
Speaker 1: a lot of focus on the island, on Florida and
• 0:17
Speaker 1: on New York. But Zoro Ranch has always held a
• 0:21
Speaker 1: very important place in the story of Jeffrey Epstein. And
• 0:26
Speaker 1: the fact that the federal government basically told the State
• 0:29
Speaker 1: of New Mexico to get screwed and not investigate any
• 0:33
Speaker 1: further is just another gigantic tell. You know, people want
• 0:37
Speaker 1: to talk about cover ups and you know, conspiracies whenever
• 0:41
Speaker 1: a new case pops up. I mean, people are talking
• 0:43
Speaker 1: about Andrew Tait Shue for God's sakes, like that's some
• 0:47
Speaker 1: big conspiracy and he wasn't really arrested. It was just ai.
• 0:51
Speaker 1: I mean, that's how cooks some people's brains are. And
• 0:53
Speaker 1: while I want to blame the people that have broken
• 0:56
Speaker 1: their brains by filling them with a bunch of bullshit,
• 0:59
Speaker 1: we have to be honest and understand that the institutions
• 1:03
Speaker 1: play a part. If they were honest, if they would
• 1:06
Speaker 1: have told us the truth, if they would have just
• 1:08
Speaker 1: been transparent. Then they wouldn't have to worry about all
• 1:10
Speaker 1: these conspiracies popping up. They wouldn't have to worry about
• 1:13
Speaker 1: people making things up about Charlie Kirk. And that's why
• 1:16
Speaker 1: I'm so adamant about transparency. And whenever you're dealing with
• 1:19
Speaker 1: something heavy, something serious like Epstein, you have to be transparent.
• 1:26
Speaker 1: You have to tell the people what's going on, and
• 1:28
Speaker 1: you can't bullshit around because if you're dishonest and you're
• 1:31
Speaker 1: not transparent and you straight up lie, this is the result.
• 1:34
Speaker 1: People do not believe the institutions, and it becomes a
• 1:37
Speaker 1: gigantic problem in society. And that's why I've been calling
• 1:41
Speaker 1: for accountability within the institutions for all these years. Look,
• 1:45
Speaker 1: I'm not some black pillar. I'm not somebody who hates America.
• 1:48
Speaker 1: I'm not somebody that you know thinks this country is horrible.
• 1:52
Speaker 1: It's the opposite. The reason I'm so vocal, the reason
• 1:57
Speaker 1: that I've taken this story head on, is because I
• 1:59
Speaker 1: truely believe that until we deal with this, we're never
• 2:03
Speaker 1: ever going to be able to get out from under
• 2:05
Speaker 1: the thumb of the scumbags that are ruining our lives.
• 2:08
Speaker 1: And I'm not talking about your neighbors. I'm not talking
• 2:11
Speaker 1: about even your politicians. I'm talking about the people that
• 2:14
Speaker 1: are holding their leash, you know, Jeffrey Epstein's buddies. Today
• 2:20
Speaker 1: we have an article from scripts dot com and the
• 2:23
Speaker 1: headline former New Mexico ag wants to step back into
• 2:26
Speaker 1: Epstein ranch investigations. This article was authored by Alexandra Miller.
• 2:33
Speaker 1: Former New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderis is offering to
• 2:37
Speaker 1: assist two ongoing state investigations into Jeffrey Epstein, marking his
• 2:41
Speaker 1: first official involvement in the matter since leaving office in
• 2:44
Speaker 1: twenty twenty two. He exclusively tells Scrips News, well, not
• 2:49
Speaker 1: for nothing, but I tried to contact mister Baldaris when
• 2:52
Speaker 1: I was in New Mexico. His office crickets, no emails back,
• 2:59
Speaker 1: no phone calls, nothing. So it's good that he wants
• 3:03
Speaker 1: to get involved now. But when he was the Attorney general,
• 3:05
Speaker 1: I can assure you that there was no interest in
• 3:09
Speaker 1: going after Zorro Ranch. Now, in his defense, we can
• 3:11
Speaker 1: say that the federal government told the State of New
• 3:14
Speaker 1: Mexico to back off. And it looks like we have
• 3:17
Speaker 1: the contemporaneous evidence to back that up. But still, if
• 3:21
Speaker 1: you're the attorney general of a state and you know
• 3:23
Speaker 1: that shit like this is going on, you can't punt
• 3:25
Speaker 1: the ball. You can't have the FEDS come in and
• 3:28
Speaker 1: do the whole investigation. You need to have a concurrent investigation.
• 3:32
Speaker 1: That way, if the Feds don't do their job, you
• 3:35
Speaker 1: can use dual sovereignty and go after the person that
• 3:38
Speaker 1: the FEDS decide not to go after. But we never
• 3:42
Speaker 1: saw that down in New Mexico. We didn't see mister
• 3:44
Speaker 1: Balderas push back. So we have to be honest about
• 3:47
Speaker 1: the record. Now. Look, I certainly welcome him showing up
• 3:51
Speaker 1: to the party now, but let's not act like the
• 3:54
Speaker 1: state of New Mexico was proactive. They were not. Balderis,
• 3:59
Speaker 1: who launched New Mexico's investigation int Apstein in twenty nineteen,
• 4:03
Speaker 1: say federal authorities effectively shut his office out after he
• 4:07
Speaker 1: began pursuing evidence related to allegations connected to Epstein's Oro
• 4:11
Speaker 1: Ranch in New Mexico. Epstein, a convicted sex offender, owned
• 4:16
Speaker 1: the sprawling Zoro Ranch near Stanley, New Mexico, where multiple
• 4:20
Speaker 1: women have alleged that they were abused as young girls
• 4:23
Speaker 1: and women, and nobody gave a fuck. That's the truth.
• 4:26
Speaker 1: I know people don't want to hear it, and those
• 4:29
Speaker 1: of you that have been listening, you're probably tired of
• 4:31
Speaker 1: me saying it, but it's the truth. Nobody could be
• 4:35
Speaker 1: bothered to lift a finger, Nobody could be bothered to
• 4:39
Speaker 1: go after these powerful people. I mean, for how long
• 4:43
Speaker 1: did we hear about Bill Gates being this great guy.
• 4:45
Speaker 1: He's saving humanity and if you said anything against them,
• 4:48
Speaker 1: you are some conspiracy theorist. But the truth is Bill
• 4:53
Speaker 1: Gates has never been a great guy. Bill Gates is
• 4:56
Speaker 1: a planderer, a liar, and somebody that he had no
• 5:00
Speaker 1: problem rebuilding Epstein's image, and then that rotten bastard had
• 5:04
Speaker 1: the audacity to light to everybody and try and gaslight
• 5:07
Speaker 1: us when the truth came out. So if you want
• 5:09
Speaker 1: to think Bill Gates is a great guy, cool, go
• 5:12
Speaker 1: for it. Me personally, I think he's a scumbag. In
• 5:17
Speaker 1: letters Sat. Monday evening, Balderas reached out to current New
• 5:20
Speaker 1: Mexico Attorney General Raoul Torres and the chairwoman of the
• 5:23
Speaker 1: State's Truth Commission, the state legislature's committee examining how state
• 5:28
Speaker 1: and local officials handled matters related to Epstein's property and
• 5:32
Speaker 1: activities in New Mexico. Baldera's decision to publicly offer assistance
• 5:36
Speaker 1: adds a new dimension to the state's ongoing efforts to
• 5:39
Speaker 1: determine whether additional records could shed light on Epstein's activities
• 5:44
Speaker 1: in New Mexico and the extent of the communication between
• 5:48
Speaker 1: state and federal authorities during the investigation. All right, let
• 5:52
Speaker 1: me put my cynical hat on real quick and say
• 5:54
Speaker 1: that mister Balderas is probably trying to cover his own ass.
• 5:58
Speaker 1: That's possible, right. Well, Look, the reason I didn't act
• 6:02
Speaker 1: is because the FEDS told me that I couldn't. Now,
• 6:05
Speaker 1: if he has the evidence to back that up, that's
• 6:07
Speaker 1: one thing, but if not, sounds like more nonsense being
• 6:11
Speaker 1: pitched to us. The former Attorney General provided a detailed
• 6:16
Speaker 1: timeline of his office's investigation, including communications with Attorney Brad Edwards,
• 6:21
Speaker 1: who represents numerous Epstein's survivors. According to Balderas, Edwards connected
• 6:27
Speaker 1: his office with two alleged victims, four interviews, and the
• 6:31
Speaker 1: fact that nothing came from it is just completely disgusting.
• 6:35
Speaker 1: There's plenty of evidence. I mean, you see the shit
• 6:37
Speaker 1: people get arrested on and you see how little evidence
• 6:41
Speaker 1: they have. All you have to do is establish probable cause.
• 6:45
Speaker 1: But Balderas couldn't even be bothered to do that. Balderas
• 6:51
Speaker 1: said his office was only able to interview one survivor
• 6:54
Speaker 1: on July second, twenty nineteen, before federal prosecutors in the
• 6:58
Speaker 1: Southern District of New York intervene. Based on the statements
• 7:02
Speaker 1: we obtained from the victim, we began to formulate a
• 7:05
Speaker 1: charging theory of criminal sexual penetration in the first degree
• 7:09
Speaker 1: against Jeffrey Epstein. Baldaris wrote in his correspondence, Well, that's great,
• 7:15
Speaker 1: but did you go through with it? Did you follow through?
• 7:18
Speaker 1: Did you tell the Feds to go get fucked? No?
• 7:21
Speaker 1: You just went along to get along, like alex Acosta did.
• 7:24
Speaker 1: But the difference is, mister Baldaris wasn't a federal employee.
• 7:29
Speaker 1: He was the attorney general of the state. So that
• 7:32
Speaker 1: should supersede anything else. If somebody is out here diddling
• 7:36
Speaker 1: people in my state and on the attorney general, I
• 7:39
Speaker 1: don't care if the President himself asked me to back off,
• 7:42
Speaker 1: the answer is no. My investigation is going to continue,
• 7:46
Speaker 1: and that's it. I have a duty to the people
• 7:49
Speaker 1: of New Mexico, not to the federal government, not to
• 7:52
Speaker 1: the DOJ, and certainly not to the thin skins in Washington,
• 7:56
Speaker 1: d C. But yet Baldaris, well, he had a differentinion,
• 8:00
Speaker 1: I guess, and decided that the Feds and their request
• 8:04
Speaker 1: Trump's what the people of New Mexico desire. The letter
• 8:10
Speaker 1: to the Attorney General also includes a handwritten note from
• 8:13
Speaker 1: federal authorities indicating that they would share information with Balderis's team.
• 8:17
Speaker 1: Script's News reporting found the Department of Justice ignored Baldaris's
• 8:21
Speaker 1: team as it continually reached out to assist in the investigation.
• 8:25
Speaker 1: The SDN Y never shared information with Balderis's team. And
• 8:29
Speaker 1: does someone want to refresh my memory about who was
• 8:32
Speaker 1: president at this time? Oh, that's right, Donald Trump. So
• 8:36
Speaker 1: Donald Trump's DOJ was withholding this information from the state
• 8:41
Speaker 1: of New Mexico. Now we know why. Now we know
• 8:45
Speaker 1: why they were doing it, and now we know why
• 8:47
Speaker 1: they're still doing it. We put survivors first by backing
• 8:50
Speaker 1: the DOJ's human trafficking prosecution, trusting them to honor their
• 8:54
Speaker 1: word to share records once their case closed. Balderis told
• 8:58
Speaker 1: Scripts News in an exclusive state, Instead, they went dark.
• 9:02
Speaker 1: It's deeply frustrating to see federal officials obstruct the new
• 9:06
Speaker 1: Mexico Attorney General by withholding the very evidence he needs
• 9:09
Speaker 1: to fight for justice. And that's a fact. I just
• 9:14
Speaker 1: don't understand how the Feds think they can get away
• 9:16
Speaker 1: with this shit. Do you think that the State of
• 9:19
Speaker 1: New Mexico would have any leg to stand on if
• 9:21
Speaker 1: they were withholding something from the Feds. Of course not.
• 9:24
Speaker 1: But the Feds, well, they can just do whatever they want,
• 9:27
Speaker 1: especially when it comes to Epstein. There's never going to
• 9:29
Speaker 1: be accountability. The revelations come as new Mexico Attorney General
• 9:37
Speaker 1: Ronald Torres continues his efforts to obtain federal records related
• 9:40
Speaker 1: to Epstein. Torres, who reopened the state investigation, has repeatedly
• 9:45
Speaker 1: requested documents from the Department of Justice. Last week, Torres
• 9:49
Speaker 1: threatened legal action if the DOJ does not comply with
• 9:52
Speaker 1: requests for specific unredacted files. I'd love to see that filed.
• 9:58
Speaker 1: Let's get a legal battle going, Let's get a court case,
• 10:01
Speaker 1: and let's see what the judge says enough is enough.
• 10:04
Speaker 1: In a statement provided to the Script's newsgroup, Torres says
• 10:07
Speaker 1: former Attorney General Balderis has confirmed what we already know
• 10:11
Speaker 1: to be true. The federal government has repeatedly failed to
• 10:14
Speaker 1: honor its commitment to share information that is unacceptable. If
• 10:18
Speaker 1: DJ will not honor its commitment voluntarily, we're prepared to
• 10:22
Speaker 1: enforce it so that we can do what New Mexicans
• 10:25
Speaker 1: expect of us. Follow the facts, protect victims, and hold
• 10:29
Speaker 1: anyone who broke our laws accountable. So it looks like
• 10:33
Speaker 1: the battle down in New Mexico is just getting underway.
• 10:36
Speaker 1: It's going to be very interesting to see what they
• 10:38
Speaker 1: come up with and if the Feds end up playing ball,
• 10:41
Speaker 1: because I think there's a lot of secrets in Zoro
• 10:44
Speaker 1: Ranch that the Feds don't want uncovered. So we're going
• 10:49
Speaker 1: to continue to follow along and when we have some
• 10:51
Speaker 1: more information, one way or the other will get that
• 10:54
Speaker 1: added to the catalog as well. All the information that
• 10:57
Speaker 1: goes with this episode can be found in the description box.
