- 0:23Speaker 4: How are you good?
- 0:25Speaker 1: I'm fine, Lisa? Not so well? Is that while you're
- 0:29Speaker 1: avoiding us for the third week in a row that
- 0:31Speaker 1: you've been on the phone.
- 0:32Speaker 3: I wanted to come in. That's the big man inside there. Greg.
- 0:36Speaker 3: You said, mate, don't come.
- 0:37Speaker 4: In, don't look after yourself.
- 0:39Speaker 3: We're quarantining the area.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Well except for Barrow.
- 0:43Speaker 2: We let Barrow Hayden Young last week. Hayden Young. Yeah,
- 0:47Speaker 2: you must have been a bit surprised when he wasn't
- 0:49Speaker 2: out there on Friday night, j Man Hayden Young. But gee,
- 0:52Speaker 2: seventy points. It didn't seem like a seventy point game,
- 0:56Speaker 2: did it? What makes the doctors so hard to stop?
- 0:59Speaker 4: I did?
- 1:00Speaker 3: It did? Towards the end, It felt like that second
- 1:02Speaker 3: half we just couldn't get control of their game and
- 1:04Speaker 3: they were just way too experienced. So I thought Mini
- 1:07Speaker 3: summed it up pretty well. I mean they're just such
- 1:09Speaker 3: a well all drilled team now and everyone just plays
- 1:11Speaker 3: that role so well that they know each position that
- 1:14Speaker 3: they're going to be in in each specific moment. So,
- 1:19Speaker 3: you know, we want to aspire to get to that
- 1:20Speaker 3: pretty quickly because those types of teams and those types
- 1:25Speaker 3: of players and how they play can certainly win games
- 1:27Speaker 3: of football and can certainly go deep in finals. So
- 1:30Speaker 3: the quicker we can get to that, the better team
- 1:32Speaker 3: will be.
- 1:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:33Speaker 1: The difference obviously is the fact that they have now
- 1:35Speaker 1: just developed that game plan that they've put into practice
- 1:39Speaker 1: so many times now. Yeah, you know, they can come
- 1:40Speaker 1: from behind and then just go and and Domino.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Mini actually said that he thought they were five years
- 1:45Speaker 2: ahead of you, yowie. That must have been an interesting
- 1:49Speaker 2: thing to absorb.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Well, I don't really know too much in terms of
- 1:54Speaker 3: their like age group and all that stuff as well
- 1:57Speaker 3: for the whole team, but I would assume majority of them,
- 2:00Speaker 3: you know, mid to low twenties as well, and we're
- 2:03Speaker 3: quite a bit younger than that. But then in terms
- 2:06Speaker 3: of football experience as well, I mean they've probably got
- 2:08Speaker 3: a lot of players over one hundred hundred and twenty
- 2:09Speaker 3: odth games now and you know a majority of ours
- 2:13Speaker 3: are starting to stick up over twenty nows different.
- 2:17Speaker 4: We're getting there.
- 2:18Speaker 3: We're getting there, but yeah, it would take some time.
- 2:21Speaker 3: But yeah, we need to get better. We need to
- 2:23Speaker 3: get better quick now.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Harley's in the headlines made We've got to ask you
- 2:26Speaker 2: about it. Actually in the paper today, a fella one
- 2:32Speaker 2: of the journeys has gone through and looked at this
- 2:34Speaker 2: noble looked at every free kick that Harley has got
- 2:37Speaker 2: this year and he's made an assessment. He's a former
- 2:41Speaker 2: umpire as well, Greg donahue, and he's.
- 2:44Speaker 4: Worked out what was the what was the verdict?
- 2:46Speaker 2: The verdict was that he's not being umpired differently from
- 2:50Speaker 2: anyone else. I mean, you're out there, you see the aggression.
- 2:54Speaker 2: That's what makes him special. But does he needs to
- 2:57Speaker 2: dial it back a little bit or because sometimes when
- 2:59Speaker 2: the pies are under you and the spotlight's on you,
- 3:02Speaker 2: you can draw attention. You don't really want that, do you?
- 3:06Speaker 5: No? You don't.
- 3:07Speaker 3: I mean he plays, you know, very passionate and physical ways,
- 3:10Speaker 3: so I think and because he's such a big character
- 3:13Speaker 3: as well, he's we've spoken about him plenty of times,
- 3:16Speaker 3: and everyone always will. And he's bigger than Ben Hare
- 3:18Speaker 3: and w A and Australia almost that you know, he
- 3:20Speaker 3: probably just gets that attention. So yeah, I mean there's
- 3:24Speaker 3: there's some times that I can imagine it'd be pretty
- 3:26Speaker 3: frustrating for him. He's trying to find the balance and
- 3:30Speaker 3: what works best for him and trying to play on
- 3:32Speaker 3: the edge and play on that line without sort of
- 3:35Speaker 3: doing too much and giving away too many free kicks.
- 3:37Speaker 3: So that can be hard, but that just comes with
- 3:39Speaker 3: experience and you know, more games underneath your belt and
- 3:44Speaker 3: a bit of maturity. So he'll get there. And I
- 3:46Speaker 3: think he's maturing nicely. This year, You've seen Harley grow
- 3:49Speaker 3: as a player even more so, and I think next
- 3:52Speaker 3: year and the year after that, he'll just continue to
- 3:54Speaker 3: get better and continue to find the balance and continue
- 3:57Speaker 3: to be the player that we all expect him to.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Be despite all the attention that he's getting from other players,
- 4:01Speaker 1: you know on the opposition side and also the umpires.
- 4:04Speaker 1: You know, he's not backing back, is he? He just
- 4:06Speaker 1: continues to grow and get better.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Yeah, he does. And you know he plays with his
- 4:11Speaker 3: hard sleeve and everyone loves him for it and that's why,
- 4:14Speaker 3: you know. So he gives a real red hot crack
- 4:16Speaker 3: every time he goes out there, and you can't ask
- 4:17Speaker 3: for anything more from anyone, really, Well, that's all that's
- 4:20Speaker 3: all you want.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Now, g Man, it's Richmond at the m Slee G
- 4:23Speaker 2: on Sunday. Does playing on the G does that still
- 4:26Speaker 2: give you a bit of a buzz when you get
- 4:27Speaker 2: out there? Is there still that bit of yeah, this
- 4:29Speaker 2: is where we won the flag and this is the
- 4:31Speaker 2: home of footy?
- 4:33Speaker 4: It always does me.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Alst time I played on the G there was one
- 4:35Speaker 3: hundred thousand.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Then that's right that game?
- 4:42Speaker 3: Yeah, of course, of course the G always has that
- 4:44Speaker 3: sort of special feeling. That's right.
- 4:49Speaker 1: There won't be I guess Richmond might not be able
- 4:53Speaker 1: to drag quite as many supporters into the arena this
- 4:56Speaker 1: time round.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Well, this is their grand fire in some ways. If
- 4:58Speaker 2: they want to miss Wooden Spoon, they probably think this
- 5:01Speaker 2: is the game I want to win. But then again
- 5:03Speaker 2: they probably want first pick as well, don't they.
- 5:05Speaker 5: Ye?
- 5:07Speaker 3: I don't know that. I think I think winning is
- 5:09Speaker 3: more important than the first pick, that's for sure. Absolutely,
- 5:12Speaker 3: And they've they've had a measure for a couple of
- 5:15Speaker 3: games now, which is very frustrating. So you know we
- 5:17Speaker 3: want to go over there and have a win, that's
- 5:19Speaker 3: for sure.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Yeah, good on your mate.
- 5:20Speaker 1: The best you do that, then best you do that.
- 5:24Speaker 3: That's the plan.
- 5:25Speaker 2: When you jump out of bed, does your body creak
- 5:27Speaker 2: and make noises like me and Russ? Is that you
- 5:29Speaker 2: at that stage?
- 5:30Speaker 3: Yet?
- 5:31Speaker 4: Actually I'm actually pretty good. I have My body's feeling
- 5:35Speaker 4: pretty good because I haven't been smashed around stoppages and
- 5:38Speaker 4: inside middles, so going playing deeper forward is actually looking
- 5:41Speaker 4: after my body.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Neither of I. But still just you wait, mate, it's coming,
- 5:46Speaker 1: it's coming.
- 5:47Speaker 5: You're yeah yet all best of luck on the trip over, mate,
- 5:54Speaker 5: and let's see if we can chalk one up against Richmond,
- 5:57Speaker 5: it would be it would be nice on the beat
- 6:00Speaker 5: on the big stage.
- 6:01Speaker 1: That's good, no worries, mate, have a good flight over
