• 0:11
Hello, it is Megan from Vigilante Vibes and I am here to
• 0:14
answer another anonymous question that I asked my
• 0:18
listeners to send in so I can answer on the podcast.
• 0:22
If you'd like to send me an anonymous question so it could
• 0:24
be answered on the podcast, just click the link that's below in
• 0:27
the show notes. It's should be everywhere.
• 0:30
So Spotify, Apple, YouTube, wherever it should be right
• 0:34
there. So the question today is which
• 0:38
heroin deserves a solo movie next and why is it Scarlet
• 0:42
Witch? I do have my suspicions on to
• 0:49
who this person was, but I'm actually going to say it's not
• 0:54
Scarlet Witch because it's like, what are we going to do with a
• 0:58
solo movie for her? The only thing really left for
• 1:01
her is a redemption from what all she's done.
• 1:04
And some people don't even think she's coming back, but she's
• 1:06
totally coming back. So I don't think a full movie
• 1:09
for her is the right way to go because of Multiverse of
• 1:12
Madness. Now if we didn't get Multiverse
• 1:14
of Madness, I do think a solo movie would work very well.
• 1:18
But since we got Multiverse of Madness and it's can we just OK
• 1:26
and can we all just be honest? Who makes a movie with the
• 1:30
Scarlet Witch is one of the main characters right after Wanda
• 1:35
vision. So it's like her continuation
• 1:37
and you didn't even watch Wanda Vision, Sam Ramey, but whatever.
• 1:42
So I actually think not Scarlet Witch that needs her own movie,
• 1:47
but Aurora Monroe Storm. I, I don't Storm is such a big
• 1:56
character. She is such she's a queen, she
• 1:59
is a goddess. She is everything magical about
• 2:03
Marvel into one character. She needs her own movie.
• 2:07
I want to see from when she was born in New York City to where
• 2:11
her parents died in a plane crash, to where she moved to
• 2:15
Cairo and lived on the streets with some other kids in a gang.
• 2:20
I want to see when she traveled to Africa.
• 2:24
I want to see when she worked with Magneto.
• 2:26
I want to see when she was Queen of Kenya.
• 2:28
I want to see all of that, her entire story.
• 2:32
I want to see all of that, her entire story.
• 2:36
I need it so, so bad. And I want it the movie to end
• 2:41
right as she pulls up to Xavier's mansion.
• 2:47
That's what I want. I want to see it end right there
• 2:50
and then. Whatever happens with her in the
• 2:51
X-Men is for the next movie, but I want it to be specifically all
• 2:56
about Auroro. Of course, Magneto will be in
• 3:00
there too, given their history. But think about all the
• 3:03
possibilities they could do with that, that we could see her
• 3:06
meeting T'challa. We could see her being the Queen
• 3:10
of Kenya, like these incredible things.
• 3:12
We could see her grow into her powers.
• 3:14
We could see the all the things that happen that make her who
• 3:17
she is, which is a powerhouse of a character in every single way.
• 3:25
And it gives us a chance to give us an actually well done Storm.
• 3:29
Let's all be real, Halle Berry Storm was not it.
• 3:34
I don't put all the blame on Halle Berry because she was
• 3:38
tricked into the role. If you don't know about that,
• 3:41
that's because I can't remember exactly who it was.
• 3:44
It was the creators gave her a fake script that said she was
• 3:48
going to be a hero to the black communities.
• 3:51
She was going to be this amazing character that does whatever she
• 3:56
can for whoever she can. And she was like, you know what?
• 3:59
I'm in. And then she was lied to.
• 4:01
That was she was given a fake script.
• 4:03
And I don't put any of that on her, but I do.
• 4:09
I just wish she would have done more research because there were
• 4:12
times where she you could kind of see Aurora in her kind of,
• 4:18
but then there were times where there was random accents.
• 4:21
She acted out of character. She I just don't think she got
• 4:25
it at all. So I I want it well done because
• 4:32
Storm is not a character to not do perfectly well.
• 4:37
I want to see a darker skin actress.
• 4:40
I want someone that can truly emulate who Storm is.
• 4:46
So I do have two fan casts for Storm who I think would do
• 4:49
really well, but that one was de Wanda wise, I thought.
• 4:52
I still think she would do an incredibly well job with Storm.
• 4:57
She has the range, she has the talent, she puts her throws
• 5:03
herself into everything she acts in.
• 5:05
So it's like, why not? What about Jodie Turner Smith?
• 5:10
I think she is gorgeous. She has a great depth.
• 5:15
She is beautiful. I think she did so well in Star
• 5:20
Wars the Acolyte and she is in Tron Aries.
• 5:24
If anyone's going to see that. I'm I'm not.
• 5:28
But I mean, if you're if you are, good for you.
• 5:31
But I know there are some people who are really wanted.
• 5:35
Oh, I can't remember her the name Cynthia from Wicked.
• 5:39
They wanted her to play Storm. And I just want to say no, she's
• 5:46
a great actress. She's she's wonderful and all,
• 5:48
but it's like you guys are doing the popularity fan casting now.
• 5:52
We all remember when Jenna Ortega was fan cast as like
• 5:55
everything, right? Keke Palmer stays being fan cast
• 5:59
as everything because she's always popular.
• 6:01
It's like just just give it a minute.
• 6:04
I think you guys did it with Margot Robbie too.
• 6:07
Let's we don't have to just go with whoever's popular right
• 6:10
now. We can just see who we think is
• 6:13
best for the role. And I think Jodie Turner Smith
• 6:16
and Dewanda Wise are the two people that would do the best.
• 6:20
That's my opinion. So make sure you tell me in the
• 6:23
comments. Who do you think what Marvel
• 6:26
character female character should get their own movie?
• 6:30
Why is it Storm? Or if it's Scarlet Witch, let me
• 6:34
know why. But who would you fan cast The
• 6:37
Storm? Because this is always going to
• 6:38
be a popular conversation until we get a fan cast.
• 6:41
Well, no, until we get an actual casting.
• 6:44
And then it'll come out saying it should have been her, it
• 6:48
should have been this person. So the fandoms are great.
• 6:52
So yeah, let me know in the comments all those things.
• 6:55
Thank you for watching this other anonymous question
• 6:58
answered and have a marvelous day.
