- 0:07Speaker 1: One asset that was not mentioned on the strategic reserve
- 0:10Speaker 1: was hbar Today we're going to be breaking down why
- 0:12Speaker 1: Hadera might be getting an entry spot in all of this.
- 0:15Speaker 1: My name is Paul Barren. Welcome back into tech Path.
- 0:17Speaker 1: A lot happening around that. We'll break it down for
- 0:19Speaker 1: you guys today. I do want to think Coinbase for
- 0:22Speaker 1: our sponsor, and of course they've got a brand new website.
- 0:25Speaker 1: You guys can visit coinbase dot com. Crypto is very simple,
- 0:28Speaker 1: buy and sell your crypto in less than three minutes,
- 0:30Speaker 1: very easy to sign up, and you can of course
- 0:33Speaker 1: also earn four point five percent.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Apy on your USDC.
- 0:37Speaker 1: So you're just sitting there doing nothing in the coinbait
- 0:39Speaker 1: or in the crypto market, your dollars can a source
- 0:42Speaker 1: of course, go to work.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Check it out. Use our link down below.
- 0:45Speaker 1: You can get it up to two hundred bucks in
- 0:46Speaker 1: crypto to get started. So check it out. See what
- 0:49Speaker 1: you guys think. Let's go over to a couple of
- 0:50Speaker 1: the news items. Obviously everybody saw this, and that is
- 0:54Speaker 1: XRP to the Moon. After President Trump said we have
- 0:57Speaker 1: a crypto reserve happening in all of these tokens will
- 1:00Speaker 1: be in it. Xrpce Salana and Ada. We did a
- 1:03Speaker 1: full video on this.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Go check it out.
- 1:04Speaker 1: It's a good insight to where maybe this could be
- 1:08Speaker 1: going long term, and I think that's what everybody's looking
- 1:10Speaker 1: at right now, is long term play and how this
- 1:13Speaker 1: plays out for the market in general. Here's Brad Garlinghouse.
- 1:17Speaker 1: He talks about this and he simply says, if we
- 1:20Speaker 1: work together, and you know what he's talking about, we
- 1:23Speaker 1: can potentially get away from this issue, which is maximalism,
- 1:27Speaker 1: which is the enemy of the industry's progress. So he's
- 1:30Speaker 1: very glad to see potus of course, recognizes that we
- 1:33Speaker 1: live in a multi chain world. Of course you have
- 1:35Speaker 1: to be there because Gardening House and XRP and Ripple
- 1:38Speaker 1: have been positioning for.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Quite some time.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Here's another photo. Remember this happened during the Trump inauguration.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Of course.
- 1:45Speaker 1: That is mans Harmon coming in from Handera and they
- 1:48Speaker 1: I guess he's on the cool kid list now because
- 1:51Speaker 1: we might see some movement here, I think with Hadera
- 1:54Speaker 1: and as we paint this out for you guys, we'll
- 1:56Speaker 1: get an understanding of why I want.
- 1:58Speaker 2: To go to a clip real quick that gives you
- 2:00Speaker 2: a little bit more insight. Take a look.
- 2:02Speaker 3: We took that step of being based in the United
- 2:05Speaker 3: States against a lot of advice or crypto projects. Generally
- 2:11Speaker 3: back then they were basically doing regulatory arbitrage. It has
- 2:16Speaker 3: been a rough seven years, things have changed. I would
- 2:21Speaker 3: say that the winds are now in our sales and
- 2:25Speaker 3: all of a sudden, crypto projects that have their bonafides
- 2:30Speaker 3: being in the US are the cool kids on the
- 2:33Speaker 3: block and that's sweet really.
- 2:39Speaker 1: And right there, CEO of Fadera says it's time for
- 2:42Speaker 1: US platforms to lead the industry, and I think this
- 2:44Speaker 1: will be a big factor going forward, especially if Trump
- 2:49Speaker 1: favors US companies with any kind of incentive, tax break,
- 2:53Speaker 1: those kind of things that could really jettison I think
- 2:57Speaker 1: a lot of capital into the crypto market in general.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Tracking US government spending with the blockchain is probably simpler
- 3:04Speaker 1: when blockchain is used as fees pegged to USD Why
- 3:08Speaker 1: because you know, you don't need to overcomplicate things. And
- 3:10Speaker 1: Handera does this right now, so they're trying to get
- 3:13Speaker 1: a little bit of Elon's attention right there. One other
- 3:17Speaker 1: note is that USDC, the US stable coin, has been
- 3:20Speaker 1: on Nadera since twenty nineteen, so you can kind of
- 3:23Speaker 1: see a little bit more about their stable coin studio
- 3:25Speaker 1: right there. Following further into X is that Hadera and
- 3:30Speaker 1: Swift have put together a package that essentially is going
- 3:33Speaker 1: to roll out Hadera's blockchain in the use of Swift,
- 3:38Speaker 1: and they're going to be doing some tests here live
- 3:41Speaker 1: trials in twenty five with North or North America, Europe
- 3:45Speaker 1: and Asia starting with of course, we'll see other banks
- 3:49Speaker 1: moving into this, so it could be a situation that's
- 3:52Speaker 1: brewing right here where Hedera and XRP are going to
- 3:55Speaker 1: be going head to head ripple on getting into the
- 3:58Speaker 1: banking system.
- 3:59Speaker 2: For sure.
- 3:59Speaker 1: You look at the council though, this is another factor
- 4:02Speaker 1: that you have to kind of consider with Hadera is
- 4:04Speaker 1: that thirteen of the current members are headquartered in the
- 4:09Speaker 1: United States and a lot of these companies you'll recognize Dale, Boeing,
- 4:13Speaker 1: Avery Dennison, you get the picture, T Mobile, etc. The
- 4:17Speaker 1: point is is that we could have a governing council
- 4:20Speaker 1: that continues to show benefit of US companies on a
- 4:25Speaker 1: US blockchain, and of course that's what President Trump is
- 4:29Speaker 1: all about, is make America great agan and America first,
- 4:34Speaker 1: the other thing that plays into this is the technology advancement.
- 4:36Speaker 1: And this is where I think the alignment.
- 4:39Speaker 2: With what's going on right now.
- 4:41Speaker 1: As Trump did his announcement today on the investment on
- 4:46Speaker 1: Taiwanese chip makers coming to the United States. Well, CeAl
- 4:50Speaker 1: SQ is one of those who is starting to really
- 4:53Speaker 1: go into quantum computing and it is a reality. Let's
- 4:57Speaker 1: go to a clip real quick to give you a
- 4:58Speaker 1: little bit more information.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Quantum computers has unlimited computing capability. They can break all
- 5:04Speaker 4: existing cryptos rsa triple des Your credit cards, your medical records,
- 5:09Speaker 4: your hospitals, your airports will be compromised. And our objective
- 5:14Speaker 4: is to put this technology in the United States. We
- 5:17Speaker 4: have established presence in the United States with CSQUSA in Arizona,
- 5:22Speaker 4: a new chip which is going to become the beginning
- 5:25Speaker 4: of a new generation of computers. The computers that you
- 5:27Speaker 4: will see in five years time will have that electronic
- 5:30Speaker 4: and chip inside, and that will create a situation where
- 5:33Speaker 4: we will be able to defend the wall against quantum.
- 5:36Speaker 4: We need one country in the world, then we'll leave
- 5:38Speaker 4: the others in order to defend or cell to what
- 5:41Speaker 4: is coming. And therefore you need to organize your defend mechanist.
- 5:44Speaker 4: This is like a virus coming and you don't have
- 5:47Speaker 4: a vaccine to fight the virus.
- 5:49Speaker 3: NAZAC is exceptionally proud to be your partner and we
- 5:51Speaker 3: look forward to supporting you for many, many more milestones.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Very interesting stuff because you compare what happened in the
- 6:00Speaker 1: late two thousands with the fabs in New Mexico, Albuquerque,
- 6:04Speaker 1: New Mexico. You had Intel that was building out there
- 6:08Speaker 1: in a very big way. Of course, they created some
- 6:09Speaker 1: of the biggest fabs in the world. Now you've got
- 6:11Speaker 1: Taiwan moving chip manufacturing and CELICQ or sq also putting
- 6:17Speaker 1: quantum computing chip manufacturing. Very interesting positions happening in Arizona.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Then you have this tweet right here, and this was
- 6:25Speaker 1: Elon Musk on February twenty second put out the lowercase
- 6:30Speaker 1: hashgraph and then you had Hadera respond to it. So
- 6:35Speaker 1: is there something cryptic going on here? Is it possible
- 6:38Speaker 1: that hadera is being utilized by Elon already? Well, let's
- 6:42Speaker 1: take a look. Here's something that they talk about that
- 6:46Speaker 1: might give you a clue.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 6:48Speaker 4: I mean, celsq went to one billion dollar markap in
- 6:52Speaker 4: December and the satellite we launched in January. The electronics
- 6:56Speaker 4: inside the satellitey CLSQ because we are putting up pus
- 7:00Speaker 4: quantum chip, which is the one that we announced last
- 7:03Speaker 4: week in New York, and the identity of each of
- 7:06Speaker 4: those objects is on a ledger. And this is what
- 7:08Speaker 4: we're doing with he era right as we have now
- 7:11Speaker 4: one point six billion objects. In the future will be
- 7:14Speaker 4: trillions of them and every single transaction will go to
- 7:17Speaker 4: the ledger. After launching those, we develop a new generation
- 7:21Speaker 4: of satellite which are more sophisticated. They have a seal
- 7:24Speaker 4: coin water on it, so you can start to exchange
- 7:27Speaker 4: seal coin between the satellite. That's what we're going to do.
- 7:30Speaker 4: We are testing that as we speak now. We're going
- 7:32Speaker 4: to make payments from the space right so that will
- 7:34Speaker 4: be something very cool and in the future, i mean
- 7:36Speaker 4: the moonshot of that could be bringing notes to the space.
- 7:40Speaker 4: This is the most sophisticated application currently running in HEDERA.
- 7:45Speaker 4: You know, in the entire ecosystem hetera. This is something
- 7:49Speaker 4: that attracts the attention of everybody because once you solve
- 7:52Speaker 4: a problem in the satellite and the space, you can
- 7:54Speaker 4: apply that in many other places.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Right, So everybody always asks what does blockchain do? And
- 8:00Speaker 1: that's the kind of thing that we're starting to see
- 8:02Speaker 1: the evolution of a lot of these blockchains that have
- 8:05Speaker 1: been building for quite some time, and now some of
- 8:08Speaker 1: these use cases are starting to come and become reality.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Other things you got to watch out right here is
- 8:14Speaker 1: three AI powerhouses now coming together, and of course we've
- 8:17Speaker 1: talked about this. In Vidia their Hopper GPU architecture, obviously,
- 8:22Speaker 1: Intels their Xeon confidential computing architecture, all starting to ride
- 8:26Speaker 1: and commute utilizing ADARRA.
- 8:28Speaker 2: So a lot of opportunity.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Here for a dare to kind of move into this
- 8:33Speaker 1: next evolution of technology. American airlines also a big problem
- 8:38Speaker 1: right here if you look at this, is that the
- 8:40Speaker 1: CEO meets with Trump to discuss how they improve air
- 8:42Speaker 1: traffic control. It's been a problem for quite some time,
- 8:45Speaker 1: and I think maybe there could be something brewing right here.
- 8:48Speaker 2: I want to go to a clip real quick to
- 8:49Speaker 2: give you a little bit more insight. Tike A, Look,
- 8:51Speaker 2: we should have had better equipment.
- 8:53Speaker 5: We don't.
- 8:54Speaker 6: We have absolute equipment. But I think what is going
- 8:57Speaker 6: to happen is we're all going to sit down and
- 8:59Speaker 6: do a great a computerized system for our control towers.
- 9:03Speaker 6: And the first thing that some experts told me when
- 9:06Speaker 6: this happened is you can't hook up land to satellites,
- 9:09Speaker 6: and you can't hook up satellites to land. It doesn't work.
- 9:12Speaker 6: We spend billions and billions of dollars trying to renovate
- 9:15Speaker 6: an old, broken system instead of just saying, cut it
- 9:18Speaker 6: loose and let's spend less money and build a great
- 9:22Speaker 6: system done by two or three companies or as good
- 9:26Speaker 6: company specialists. It's soul it is they used thirty nine companies.
- 9:31Speaker 6: That means that thirty nine different hookups have to happen.
- 9:34Speaker 6: You need one company with one set of equipment. And
- 9:37Speaker 6: there are some countries that have unbelievable air controller systems.
- 9:43Speaker 6: I won't tell you what country, but I use the
- 9:45Speaker 6: system from another country because the captain says, this thing
- 9:49Speaker 6: is so bad, it's so obsolete.
- 9:52Speaker 2: All right.
- 9:52Speaker 1: So there's a lot in that clip that just weird,
- 9:56Speaker 1: but it's same he's talking about drilling down to one company.
- 9:59Speaker 1: I also use the term thirty nine, which is interesting
- 10:03Speaker 1: because there's council members on Haadera And then if you
- 10:06Speaker 1: go out look at forty sky. This is one of
- 10:09Speaker 1: the company's low altitude flag tracking for drums. But could
- 10:12Speaker 1: this start to implement into aircraft And this is where
- 10:15Speaker 1: it gets interesting if you look further down safety and
- 10:18Speaker 1: security secured by Hadera. A lot of things clinking together here, guys,
- 10:24Speaker 1: are we at maybe the beginning of something huge.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Let's go to this clip take a look.
- 10:31Speaker 7: We just got up on stage after winning first place,
- 10:33Speaker 7: so we're already in high spirits and I just thought
- 10:36Speaker 7: I checked my emails, you know, as you do afterwards,
- 10:39Speaker 7: and we just had a notification comes through from the
- 10:41Speaker 7: Civil Aviation Authority saying that our project was successful and
- 10:45Speaker 7: basically what they wanted us to do is to upgrade
- 10:48Speaker 7: some of the ATC services in three of the airports
- 10:51Speaker 7: small airports to begin with in the UK, using the
- 10:54Speaker 7: neuron Edge network infrastructure. They loved it and we're literally
- 10:58Speaker 7: due to start work in the next couple of weeks
- 11:00Speaker 7: on it. It goes into the airport's air traffic control
- 11:02Speaker 7: tower and then then be able to see all of
- 11:04Speaker 7: the air traffic that's moving within those areas.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Let's go to the blockchain real quick. Exploring Handera's blockchain.
- 11:10Speaker 1: You take a look at the network Excel transactions over time,
- 11:13Speaker 1: growing after their fee cut, which was a curd last fall,
- 11:17Speaker 1: this of course has spurred more growth on it, including accounts,
- 11:20Speaker 1: and this is the thing I think is going to
- 11:22Speaker 1: also spur technology innovation on Hydera, which if we've already
- 11:27Speaker 1: started to see take place right there. I want to
- 11:30Speaker 1: go to a quick clip that we'll explain a little
- 11:32Speaker 1: bit more about why HBAR might be the first ETF.
- 11:36Speaker 8: Take a look when the ETF, why is there no
- 11:40Speaker 8: HBAR nineteen before? If it's not a security, the exchange
- 11:45Speaker 8: has to file an exception for you to list that ETF,
- 11:48Speaker 8: which is called a nineteen before filing. We're in charge
- 11:50Speaker 8: of the S one, but the exchanges actually file the
- 11:54Speaker 8: nineteen before, and we also wanted to wait for the
- 11:56Speaker 8: right exchange to work with, and we felt like nas
- 12:00Speaker 8: was the right ones.
- 12:01Speaker 4: So it was Nasdaq in fact, that filed the nineteen
- 12:04Speaker 4: be four several days ago.
- 12:06Speaker 8: That's exactly right, well done. The way that hbar actually
- 12:10Speaker 8: distributed its tokens in a fair way and registered actually
- 12:13Speaker 8: made it not a security because you registered with the CFTC.
- 12:17Speaker 8: And to my knowledge, hbar is the only token that's
- 12:20Speaker 8: done that just a really easy call for US.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Now, what do you think of the American first narrative?
- 12:27Speaker 8: My guess is there certainly will be some tax benefits
- 12:29Speaker 8: for trading tokens on a chain that was made in
- 12:31Speaker 8: the US.
- 12:33Speaker 1: All right, So that I agree with in the sense
- 12:36Speaker 1: that one there are some benefits to an ETF here,
- 12:39Speaker 1: with HBAR being possibly the first. I still think it's
- 12:42Speaker 1: probably going to be XRP. But if you look at
- 12:45Speaker 1: speculation around this, then you have to go back to
- 12:48Speaker 1: what Eric Trump stated, and he simply said that the
- 12:51Speaker 1: president is committed to a US crypto reserve, which we
- 12:54Speaker 1: now see is happening, and capital gains reduction.
- 12:58Speaker 2: This would be huge.
- 13:00Speaker 1: If in fact we saw that capital gains were actually created,
- 13:05Speaker 1: either through a loophole or some sort of incentive on
- 13:08Speaker 1: American companies like XRP, like HBAR, all of this would
- 13:12Speaker 1: be and this here's the kicker. What he stated was
- 13:15Speaker 1: while non US based projects face a thirty percent tax,
- 13:20Speaker 1: So that would be a big, big deal as we
- 13:23Speaker 1: go forward in this market. Other things I want to
- 13:26Speaker 1: hit on right here, of course, was this point that
- 13:29Speaker 1: is happening also on Hydera. Now, you guys have heard
- 13:32Speaker 1: many projects that start well Tuned FM is one of them,
- 13:36Speaker 1: and this of course is Snoop Dogg. He's talking about, Hey,
- 13:39Speaker 1: I'm not going to mess around with Spotify anymore. I'm
- 13:42Speaker 1: only going to go on two and FM. This could
- 13:45Speaker 1: be a factor going forward because if you look at
- 13:47Speaker 1: just what's been going on in Web three, remember Snoop
- 13:50Speaker 1: Dogg has been very Web three ford, but he is
- 13:53Speaker 1: now starting to partnership with a partnership with two and FM.
- 13:57Speaker 1: And within this there's a couple of points I want
- 13:59Speaker 1: to hit on. The decision to partment with the platform
- 14:02Speaker 1: came after meeting two and FM founder Andre Antar at
- 14:04Speaker 1: the Crypto Ball part to the President Trump. So this
- 14:07Speaker 1: is moving quick. This only happened last month. We can
- 14:10Speaker 1: share that major distributors and labels are increasingly coming on
- 14:13Speaker 1: board to upload catalogs that have long been under monetized.
- 14:17Speaker 1: So if you go over to the website two and
- 14:19Speaker 1: fm you can see a little bit more, but the
- 14:21Speaker 1: big one powered by Hadera, so more opportunity, especially in
- 14:26Speaker 1: the entertainment space. Now I want to jump over to
- 14:29Speaker 1: kid Rock. So this was a headline right here. Kid
- 14:31Speaker 1: Rock meets with incoming Attorney General open account of you
- 14:34Speaker 1: know what on Scalper's bots, etc. He's after the ticket guys.
- 14:39Speaker 1: And when you look at he's talking about who's ever
- 14:41Speaker 1: in charge wants to help fix this? Get your butt
- 14:43Speaker 1: to the table otherwise don't find out. The point being
- 14:48Speaker 1: is they're going after all of these crazy ticket scenarios.
- 14:51Speaker 1: And we've talked about this many times with different blockchains
- 14:53Speaker 1: that could solve this, and are we on the verge
- 14:57Speaker 1: of that actually happening. I want to go to a
- 14:58Speaker 1: clip that will give you a little bit more we're
- 15:00Speaker 1: inside take a look.
- 15:01Speaker 5: Which I've actually talked to several about, really taking a
- 15:03Speaker 5: hard look at Ticketmaster, like they have a monopoly. The
- 15:06Speaker 5: government says we're going to do it, and they're not
- 15:07Speaker 5: doing shit. Uh, And these bots are out of hand,
- 15:10Speaker 5: and the fees are one hundred dollars now they are
- 15:12Speaker 5: one hundred and twenty dollars, and Joe Biden's out there
- 15:15Speaker 5: talking about like, oh, we got it under control. All
- 15:17Speaker 5: he did was make them print what the fee is, right,
- 15:19Speaker 5: not like change it. No, you just have to tell
- 15:21Speaker 5: people where you're fucking them. The problem is Republicans too.
- 15:24Speaker 5: This is one thing where I'm more you know leaning
- 15:26Speaker 5: left on this because I'm a capitalist, and a lot
- 15:29Speaker 5: of conservatives we free market capitalism. I'm like, this is
- 15:32Speaker 5: out of hand. This is a place where regulation makes sense,
- 15:36Speaker 5: and this is something maybe I can actually try and
- 15:38Speaker 5: do because it's something I know something about.
- 15:42Speaker 2: So there you go.
- 15:42Speaker 1: You've got kid Rock and he's loud enough. Guys, He's
- 15:45Speaker 1: loud enough to possibly pull something like this off. And
- 15:48Speaker 1: if it does happen, blockchain will be the solution. There
- 15:51Speaker 1: could be one of the things that really plays into that.
- 15:54Speaker 2: We'll take a quick look at the chart.
- 15:56Speaker 1: If you go to h BAR right here after the
- 15:58Speaker 1: little bit of move over the week in with the
- 16:00Speaker 1: Trump announcement, of course it is retrace back down to
- 16:03Speaker 1: round twenty two. But if you look at HBAR in general,
- 16:06Speaker 1: this is on the daily I'll go to the weekly
- 16:08Speaker 1: here you can kind of see zoom out a little bit.
- 16:11Speaker 1: I mean, h BAR has had a pretty significant high,
- 16:14Speaker 1: but this could be dwarfing the opportunities that they've had
- 16:18Speaker 1: and now have in the market. And they've been talking
- 16:20Speaker 1: about this for a very long time. These governance councils,
- 16:23Speaker 1: all these members now a lot of this new advancement
- 16:26Speaker 1: within the chip business a lot around tracking most of
- 16:29Speaker 1: what we're going to see on the blockchain in terms
- 16:31Speaker 1: of large transactions, especially if we get into things like space,
- 16:35Speaker 1: whether it's through satellites and now into quantum computing. There's
- 16:38Speaker 1: a lot of things that are going the right direction
- 16:40Speaker 1: for Hedera.
- 16:41Speaker 2: So check it out, let me know what you guys think.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Drops can come down below, and of course make sure
- 16:46Speaker 1: and follow me out there on X at Paul Barron.
- 16:49Speaker 1: We'll catch you next time right here on Techpath
