- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: It's the Almost Famous podcast. Today we're breaking down all
- 0:08Speaker 2: the headlines and we're gonna end this episode with an
- 0:11Speaker 2: incredible announcement about and from the Almost Famous podcast. So
- 0:18Speaker 2: stay tuned until the very end when we celebrate something
- 0:22Speaker 2: absolutely spectacular. Today, I have producer Heather with me breaking
- 0:26Speaker 2: down the headlines. Here's I always call Ashley our expert,
- 0:30Speaker 2: but I behind the scenes there is an expert on
- 0:34Speaker 2: top of an expert that didn't wasn't meant to sound weird.
- 0:38Speaker 3: You give me too much credit. I don't where is
- 0:40Speaker 3: this going? I don't know, but it sounds like a compliment.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Heather is here with us to talk about everything that
- 0:46Speaker 2: she's put in this rundown and everything she's researched, and
- 0:49Speaker 2: it's gonna be incredible. We're gonna do it the same
- 0:51Speaker 2: way as we always do, Heather. We're gonna start out
- 0:53Speaker 2: with this one. Joey g chose this Bachelor Nation star
- 0:57Speaker 2: to be as best man ahead of wedding.
- 1:01Speaker 3: So Joey and Kelsey's wedding. I feel like we've been
- 1:05Speaker 3: talking about it for months. Every single week. It's they're
- 1:08Speaker 3: working on their first dance or they've set the date,
- 1:12Speaker 3: but yes, now he has chosen his best man. The
- 1:16Speaker 3: former Bachelor revealed that he has chosen his best man,
- 1:19Speaker 3: Tanner Cortet. The pair both were on the Bachelorette and
- 1:24Speaker 3: since have remained friends. He shared a video of himself
- 1:28Speaker 3: offering Tanner the special wedding role on Tuesday, and in
- 1:33Speaker 3: the clip, Tanner has a drink, but upon further inspection,
- 1:37Speaker 3: he notices that the cup was engraved with a very
- 1:40Speaker 3: important question, which was will you be my best man?
- 1:45Speaker 3: That's very sweet. When you and Jess got married, did
- 1:48Speaker 3: you do this whole thing with like asking in a
- 1:51Speaker 3: special way or did you just literally be like, hey, man,
- 1:54Speaker 3: let me be my best man.
- 1:56Speaker 2: I don't remember.
- 1:57Speaker 3: It's not like then. You did not give him an engraved.
- 2:01Speaker 2: You know, my best man was my dad.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Wait, Ben, that's so sweet.
- 2:05Speaker 2: It was the best I mean, he is my best man,
- 2:07Speaker 2: and so it was awesome and it was really fun
- 2:10Speaker 2: having him as my best man. He was useless in
- 2:14Speaker 2: planning anything because he didn't come to the bachelor party
- 2:17Speaker 2: because he was sick at the time. But also I
- 2:19Speaker 2: don't know if I'd want him planning my bachelor party,
- 2:22Speaker 2: but he was so thankful and it was cool. He
- 2:26Speaker 2: obviously was my best man, so he walked down the
- 2:29Speaker 2: aisle with me, and then when the ceremony started, he
- 2:31Speaker 2: sat down next to my mom because I wanted the
- 2:33Speaker 2: visual of having the two of them sitting together in
- 2:36Speaker 2: the audience, like up front, up close when I was
- 2:40Speaker 2: getting married. So enough about me. I love this and
- 2:43Speaker 2: I obviously get to hang out with Joey quite a bit.
- 2:46Speaker 2: I know his close friendship with Tanner. They are so
- 2:50Speaker 2: tight and so close, Heather, we need to celebrate. I
- 2:54Speaker 2: think that this is a Bachelor Nation connection. They met
- 2:59Speaker 2: each other through the show and now he's his best man.
- 3:02Speaker 2: That's a big deal.
- 3:03Speaker 3: That is huge, and I feel like it's just another
- 3:07Speaker 3: success story in the recent years, right. Obviously we spend
- 3:10Speaker 3: a lot of time with Katie and Zach, and you know,
- 3:14Speaker 3: Charity and Dowton are still engaged but heading in that direction.
- 3:19Speaker 3: So I think this is, you know, great, It shows
- 3:22Speaker 3: that the show works.
- 3:24Speaker 2: It shows that shows it works for so many reasons.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Speaking of the show not working, though, Rachel lindsay, we're
- 3:30Speaker 2: still talking about this and Heather, I'll be honest, I
- 3:35Speaker 2: especially as I get older. I don't like to celebrate
- 3:40Speaker 2: or become intrigued by other people's pains. However, for the
- 3:44Speaker 2: sake of the show, we do it often. And this
- 3:47Speaker 2: is one that I have been intrigued by really since
- 3:51Speaker 2: the announcement, because not that I'm really emotionally attached to
- 3:57Speaker 2: either of them, but it's been so mess like it's
- 4:01Speaker 2: and it's so public, and it's been so out there
- 4:04Speaker 2: that I'm like, what is actually happening and where does
- 4:06Speaker 2: this spit itself out? Well, the headline reads this way,
- 4:09Speaker 2: Rachel Lindsay calls out x Brian over fertility claims during divorce.
- 4:16Speaker 2: I had no clue he made these claims. This is
- 4:18Speaker 2: news to me. I mean, I've taken Rachel's side in
- 4:22Speaker 2: most of this so far, and I have a feeling
- 4:24Speaker 2: if he's diving into that topic, I'll still I'll be
- 4:27Speaker 2: taking her side on this too, but tell me why.
- 4:29Speaker 3: I will also say that this I think is equally
- 4:33Speaker 3: surprising that we're still talking about it, but also that
- 4:37Speaker 3: Rachel is talking about it so publicly. So she went
- 4:40Speaker 3: on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast this week and was
- 4:45Speaker 3: opening up about her you know situation now that everything
- 4:50Speaker 3: is final, final, when it comes to the divorce. She said,
- 4:53Speaker 3: he talked about fertility, and it wasn't even the truth
- 4:57Speaker 3: of what he was saying. Other than say I wanted
- 5:00Speaker 3: to have kids, I never talked about that, and so
- 5:04Speaker 3: to kind of like rewind back. During Brian's twenty twenty
- 5:08Speaker 3: four interview, he shared that part of his and Rachel's
- 5:11Speaker 3: issues in their marriage stem from fertility problems. He said,
- 5:16Speaker 3: I wanted kids like anybody else, but other things were
- 5:19Speaker 3: made a priority, which put a lot of pressure on
- 5:23Speaker 3: the both of us, And then he went on to
- 5:25Speaker 3: say women have a different biological clock than us. It
- 5:30Speaker 3: was going to be me going along with the plan,
- 5:34Speaker 3: but I was under a hell of a lot of stress.
- 5:38Speaker 3: That was tough. That was so hard. It felt terrible
- 5:42Speaker 3: just watching her sadness. It broke my heart. It was
- 5:46Speaker 3: like I was failing expectations on all fronts. Woof, I
- 5:52Speaker 3: got to say that that is extremely personal. I think
- 5:57Speaker 3: to share on the behalf of your former partner that
- 6:04Speaker 3: you wanted kids and it was going to be difficult.
- 6:06Speaker 3: I mean, if I'm reading between the lines, that they
- 6:09Speaker 3: were going to have to find alternative ways to have
- 6:13Speaker 3: a baby, and he wasn't interested in.
- 6:17Speaker 2: That there are topics and goodness, I don't know. I
- 6:20Speaker 2: haven't been through a divorce, and I know divorces can
- 6:23Speaker 2: get ugly, and obviously you're saying goodbye to somebody, so
- 6:27Speaker 2: it's painful. There are topics I feel like should just
- 6:30Speaker 2: be off limits. I agree, and this is one of them.
- 6:34Speaker 2: It is a very it is a very emotional experience.
- 6:37Speaker 2: It's a very stressful experience. I don't know how much
- 6:42Speaker 2: of the man is stressing here. I mean, let's be honest,
- 6:47Speaker 2: the women carry the load and the way when it
- 6:50Speaker 2: comes to that experience. The men have a very simple
- 6:55Speaker 2: job point and shoot. But I don't think it should
- 7:00Speaker 2: be talked about publicly. I don't and especially when you
- 7:03Speaker 2: have maybe outside of everything else, here's my point. When
- 7:06Speaker 2: you're in a public relationship, it should one hundred percent
- 7:10Speaker 2: not be talked about publicly. When Lauren and I broke
- 7:13Speaker 2: up from the show, there was like a maybe even
- 7:18Speaker 2: unspoken agreement of hey, let's not push this thing too
- 7:21Speaker 2: far publicly, because it just gets out there, it gets
- 7:25Speaker 2: worse and it gets harder for both of us. I
- 7:28Speaker 2: think that's how most Bachelor Nation couples have broken up.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Is like maybe a social media post and it's gone forever.
- 7:34Speaker 2: I think that's the respectful way to do it when
- 7:36Speaker 2: you have a public relationship.
- 7:37Speaker 3: I agree, but I will say that I commend Rachel
- 7:43Speaker 3: for trying to clear up some of these maybe misconceptions
- 7:47Speaker 3: that are out there about her. It's her body that's
- 7:50Speaker 3: being spoken about, and I think she has every right
- 7:52Speaker 3: to share her side of that situation.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Definitely, I just wish she would have done it here.
- 7:58Speaker 2: I'm almost famous podcast, But what do you of.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Course, but we love everybody at the Bachelor Happy Hour.
- 8:03Speaker 2: They're nice people. Yeah, they're nice people. Bachelor's Mattie Prude
- 8:18Speaker 2: explains how she remained pure while dating husband Grant Trout.
- 8:22Speaker 3: I feel like it's another day it's another Maddie Prue
- 8:25Speaker 3: It headline, But this definitely caught my attention. You know,
- 8:29Speaker 3: Maddie has been pretty open about the temptation that she
- 8:34Speaker 3: has faced throughout different points in her life. But she
- 8:39Speaker 3: shared Grant and I made the rule were not allowed
- 8:41Speaker 3: to lay on the couch. It even got to the
- 8:44Speaker 3: point where it was like, I don't even think we
- 8:47Speaker 3: can be alone past nine pm, she said. When she
- 8:51Speaker 3: was on Candice Cameron's podcast, This week. You just have
- 8:56Speaker 3: to put the boundaries in place, knowing your temptation trigger
- 9:00Speaker 3: and the things that would typically cause you to fall
- 9:03Speaker 3: into that sin.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Here's my question, Heather, why is this a headline though
- 9:10Speaker 2: it's been out there all week? I've seen it pop
- 9:13Speaker 2: up on random news sources. Why is this shocking?
- 9:19Speaker 3: I think that people talk about remaining virgins until marriage,
- 9:28Speaker 3: and I think that that's a widely accepted kind of
- 9:32Speaker 3: topic that's not really headline making, but acknowledging avoiding temptations
- 9:38Speaker 3: and going into detail, I think is something that we
- 9:41Speaker 3: actually don't hear from a lot of people. I think
- 9:43Speaker 3: we do hear about it a lot from Maddie, but
- 9:46Speaker 3: I think on the norm, people don't really tend to
- 9:49Speaker 3: open up about those. And I will go one step
- 9:52Speaker 3: further and say, I don't think a lot of women
- 9:55Speaker 3: openly talk about sexual temptations and things like that, and
- 10:00Speaker 3: that's probably why it grabs a lot of attention.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, because it is there is like a
- 10:07Speaker 2: communication style or a vulnerability that Maddie communicates that I
- 10:12Speaker 2: think people are shocked by enough to where it becomes
- 10:16Speaker 2: a headline. But in like my life, this would not
- 10:20Speaker 2: be a headline. It'd be like, hey, that is you
- 10:23Speaker 2: know a thousand other people that I knows experience. Yeah,
- 10:27Speaker 2: but you're right, I do think the details are you
- 10:31Speaker 2: don't hear the details. You don't hear the choices being made.
- 10:35Speaker 2: I don't know if you've ever heard this, but I
- 10:37Speaker 2: used to go to like a Christian like summer camp
- 10:41Speaker 2: and there would always be like flings and interests in
- 10:44Speaker 2: somebody and the rule was you have to leave enough
- 10:47Speaker 2: room for Jesus, and so that would always be the rule.
- 10:49Speaker 2: I don't know if Okay, I heard that.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Yeah, well and tell me this. I feel like because
- 10:57Speaker 3: we talked about this when we were covering the Netflix
- 11:01Speaker 3: show Perfect Match, But I feel like, right, we're also
- 11:05Speaker 3: on this opposite end of the spectrum now in terms
- 11:07Speaker 3: of the media that we're all consuming widely, where we're
- 11:11Speaker 3: going really really raunchy with a lot of the content
- 11:15Speaker 3: out there that is geared towards a younger audience. So
- 11:18Speaker 3: I think when we hear something that's completely on the
- 11:21Speaker 3: other side, that feels abnormal right now in the times,
- 11:26Speaker 3: and I think that's why it grabs attention.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Yeah, that actually makes sense. So many people are consuming
- 11:33Speaker 2: things where it's so far on the other end that
- 11:36Speaker 2: when they hear something like this and it makes them
- 11:38Speaker 2: take ten steps back and go, oh wow, that's still happening,
- 11:44Speaker 2: which it is. It is still happening. That's not like.
- 11:46Speaker 2: That's why I'm saying, I'm not shocked by this, but
- 11:49Speaker 2: I think it is uncommon for us to consume in
- 11:53Speaker 2: our daily lives information that would relate more to this
- 11:56Speaker 2: than it would. You know, you open up your social
- 11:59Speaker 2: media and they're something like on the farther end. So
- 12:02Speaker 2: I get that. That makes sense. And Maddie shared this
- 12:05Speaker 2: on the Candace Cameron podcast and not her own, which
- 12:08Speaker 2: is still going on. Actually, I think my episode just aired.
- 12:11Speaker 2: You should go listen to it, Heather.
- 12:13Speaker 3: You're your episode on Maddie's podcast.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Yeah, the Stay True podcast?
- 12:17Speaker 3: Yes, yes, and Jess was on as well. Right, was
- 12:19Speaker 3: it same episode or different episode?
- 12:21Speaker 2: Same episode? That wasn't expected, but it happened and it
- 12:25Speaker 2: was great. I don't get to sit down and get
- 12:27Speaker 2: interviewed with my wife very often. I was nervous. I
- 12:31Speaker 2: was like, what's she going to say?
- 12:33Speaker 3: She looked very confident and comfortable in the clip that
- 12:35Speaker 3: I saw.
- 12:36Speaker 2: She is confident and comfortable. She's my better half for sure.
- 12:40Speaker 2: The Bachelor in Paradise stars Alana and Chris Conrad expecting first
- 12:46Speaker 2: baby together. Now people will hear these names Alana and
- 12:50Speaker 2: Chris and be like, who I know that's going to
- 12:52Speaker 2: be the outcome. They are a success story from this
- 12:56Speaker 2: show that do not get talked about enough.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Yeah, if people will go back in the database of
- 13:02Speaker 3: their brain. They're actually from season seven of the show,
- 13:06Speaker 3: and they announced this week that they're having their first baby,
- 13:10Speaker 3: a daughter, with photos that were super super cute. The
- 13:15Speaker 3: soon to be parents shared the exciting news and express
- 13:18Speaker 3: how really really happy they are for their little one
- 13:22Speaker 3: on the way. And they also shared openly that this
- 13:26Speaker 3: is their rainbow baby, so this means that they have
- 13:30Speaker 3: experienced a loss in pregnancy before this, so that makes
- 13:35Speaker 3: this even more beautiful and exciting for them. Great news
- 13:40Speaker 3: to share.
- 13:42Speaker 2: It warms my heart when I hear somebody is expecting
- 13:44Speaker 2: a baby these days. It feels a lot different than
- 13:47Speaker 2: it did a year and a half ago.
- 13:49Speaker 3: That's because you're a softy now.
- 13:51Speaker 2: I'm a softie. Yeah, goodness gracious, good for them the congratulations,
- 13:57Speaker 2: and again another representation be because goodness gracious, the show
- 14:01Speaker 2: gets hated on and I understand why, but there are
- 14:04Speaker 2: success stories out there from the show, not only friendships,
- 14:08Speaker 2: but love and love in all ways. It's a great
- 14:12Speaker 2: thing and sometimes it works, that's cool. Speaking of it
- 14:16Speaker 2: not working, Tyler Cameron says he's in custody battle between
- 14:20Speaker 2: Rachel and Matt James. He said this on Chicks in
- 14:23Speaker 2: the Office.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know if you saw this. Obviously, Tyler
- 14:27Speaker 3: is out there right now doing a lot of press
- 14:29Speaker 3: for the HGTV show, and we've seen this. I think
- 14:34Speaker 3: we've maybe reported it on previous episodes of him hanging
- 14:37Speaker 3: out with Rachel, posting pictures and things like that, and so,
- 14:42Speaker 3: you know, he said, me and Rachel are great, We're
- 14:44Speaker 3: good friends. There's a custody battle happening right now. I
- 14:47Speaker 3: get like every other weekend with Matt. So just really
- 14:51Speaker 3: making light of the fact that, you know, he has
- 14:54Speaker 3: been able to maintain a friendship not only with the
- 14:58Speaker 3: guy that was we all know was his roommate and
- 15:01Speaker 3: his buddy, but also that ex girlfriend of his because
- 15:06Speaker 3: obviously being the best friend, he spent a lot of
- 15:09Speaker 3: time with them. But it begs me to ask you
- 15:11Speaker 3: the question of if you've ever been able to maintain
- 15:15Speaker 3: a friendship with both parties after a split, because I'll
- 15:18Speaker 3: be one hundred percent honest, the answer is no.
- 15:20Speaker 2: For me, I've tried, I've tried hard. No, I haven't.
- 15:24Speaker 2: In fact, I'm kind of in it right now, trying
- 15:27Speaker 2: my best, but no, I'm not going to be successful
- 15:30Speaker 2: at it.
- 15:31Speaker 3: I won't go into the details, but I actually had
- 15:34Speaker 3: to have a full on breakup meeting in person with
- 15:39Speaker 3: my friend's ex because he was making the rounds trying
- 15:43Speaker 3: to keep the friendships, and I just was very straightforward
- 15:49Speaker 3: with that he was my friend because of her and
- 15:52Speaker 3: he was not in my life previously, and unfortunately he
- 15:55Speaker 3: wasn't going to be in my life after. But I
- 15:56Speaker 3: wished him all the best.
- 15:58Speaker 2: That's a very adult conversation you had.
- 16:00Speaker 3: It had to be done, and you know what my
- 16:02Speaker 3: whole thing is like, I moved through life the way
- 16:04Speaker 3: that I would want to be treated, and if the
- 16:06Speaker 3: shoe were on the other foot, wouldn't make me happy
- 16:10Speaker 3: hanging out with my ex.
- 16:12Speaker 2: No, I mean I've felt that, right, Yeah, And in
- 16:16Speaker 2: this world it's hard. I think in the bachelor world
- 16:18Speaker 2: it's hard because they're at a lot of events. For sure,
- 16:20Speaker 2: there's obviously cross pollination and friend groups. When you're not
- 16:24Speaker 2: invited to something and they are, or they're invited to something,
- 16:27Speaker 2: or they're not invited and you are. It does like
- 16:31Speaker 2: breed this like jealousy. Itlic It did with me, But
- 16:33Speaker 2: I feel like I deal with that often. It's a
- 16:36Speaker 2: hard one to navigate.
- 16:37Speaker 4: For sure.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Well, we're props to Tyler then that he's able to
- 16:40Speaker 3: do it.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Now I am friends with my ex's husband, if that
- 16:45Speaker 2: makes any cooler.
- 16:47Speaker 3: I did see that. If anybody hasn't seen, he was
- 16:51Speaker 3: on your first episode of your other podcast. Everybody should
- 16:54Speaker 3: go check that out for sure.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Yeah, if you can hear me with Chris Lane, it's great.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Final headline. Hannah Godwin joins squig Game the VIP Challenge
- 17:15Speaker 2: on Netflix. The quote is I've been up to something.
- 17:18Speaker 3: So first of all, Ben, did you see squid Games
- 17:22Speaker 3: when it.
- 17:22Speaker 2: First hit the Yes, Okay, it kind of like wrecked
- 17:25Speaker 2: me a little bit. It was a lot.
- 17:27Speaker 3: I didn't finish season one, but I got the gist
- 17:30Speaker 3: of it. But obviously, like any other successful show, we've
- 17:34Speaker 3: already seen Squid Games make the real life version where
- 17:38Speaker 3: real people competed, and now they're coming out with a
- 17:42Speaker 3: celebrity version, so it was announced this week. Hannah said,
- 17:47Speaker 3: I've been up to something. Thrilled to announce that I
- 17:50Speaker 3: am joining Squid Game the VIP Challenge coming soon to Netflix.
- 17:54Speaker 3: The other great celebrities that will be joining her are
- 17:59Speaker 3: Spice Girls star Melby, The Trader's alum Dylan Efron, very
- 18:04Speaker 3: exciting NBA star Tristan Thompson, and Real Housewives of Atlanta
- 18:09Speaker 3: alum kimsel Siak Beerman. Other you know people that are
- 18:13Speaker 3: going to be on it as well are Content creator
- 18:15Speaker 3: Christy Sarah Owning Manhattan's Ryan Sirhan Amazing and The Challenge
- 18:21Speaker 3: Alum uh oh excuse me? And Squid Game The Challenge
- 18:28Speaker 3: Alum viper. So that's a really kind of exciting cast.
- 18:35Speaker 3: It's obviously much smaller than the real life version that
- 18:40Speaker 3: they did with people, so I'm interested to see how
- 18:43Speaker 3: this is going to kind of be formatted and see
- 18:46Speaker 3: obviously how Hannah does.
- 18:49Speaker 2: I'm intrigued. Hannah has always been very funny and quick witted,
- 18:54Speaker 2: so it'll be fun to see on our televisions. Again.
- 18:57Speaker 3: I love her socials. Do you ever watch like.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Just They're so good?
- 19:00Speaker 3: The stuff She went through like a slime phase. I
- 19:03Speaker 3: don't know why I was really invested. She was just
- 19:05Speaker 3: buying slime on the internet and like playing with it.
- 19:08Speaker 3: It was Anna, I don't know why you were doing that,
- 19:11Speaker 3: but it was fun to watch.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Oh, I appreciate that. That's so good. Hey, Heather, thank
- 19:17Speaker 2: you for joining us. We're gonna bring Ashley in to
- 19:19Speaker 2: talk about our big announcement. The almost famous podcast, which
- 19:23Speaker 2: has had the two same hosts since the beginning, has
- 19:29Speaker 2: traveled throughout the United States Together, has shared so many
- 19:34Speaker 2: memories seeing each other grow up, been on television shows together,
- 19:40Speaker 2: talked about everything that's happened in Bachelor Nation, good and bad,
- 19:44Speaker 2: and somehow still made it through without getting canceled. Has
- 19:49Speaker 2: officially hit over one hundred million downloads. Ashley, what are
- 19:55Speaker 2: your thoughts?
- 19:56Speaker 5: Congratulations to us. That's pretty cool. That is a big,
- 20:00Speaker 5: huge number. We're grateful to all of you out there
- 20:05Speaker 5: who have listened to so many of those episodes, like Wow, guys,
- 20:11Speaker 5: one hundred thousand times people have listened to us talk
- 20:15Speaker 5: about this show all times, one hundred million, one hundred
- 20:20Speaker 5: million times, one hundred million times.
- 20:22Speaker 2: I think it's the same thing, but I was a
- 20:23Speaker 2: little confused for a second.
- 20:24Speaker 4: How you said it a million times.
- 20:27Speaker 5: It's absolutely the craziest thing in the entire world.
- 20:29Speaker 4: So thank you, thank you. It's all because of you guys.
- 20:32Speaker 2: One hundred thousand actually be one million, So I was
- 20:34Speaker 2: wrong there in my statement. I just want to clarify.
- 20:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I was like, wait a second, now, one.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Hundred million, one hundred million times, Ashley, that is incredible.
- 20:45Speaker 2: How many people do you think are in the United
- 20:46Speaker 2: States of America.
- 20:47Speaker 4: I think there is like three hundred million.
- 20:49Speaker 2: There is three hundred and forty two million people in
- 20:52Speaker 2: the United States of America. One third of that have
- 20:56Speaker 2: listened to our podcast.
- 20:57Speaker 5: Well, if you like to think like that, everybody in.
- 21:01Speaker 4: America Seation one, I mean one third of America is
- 21:04Speaker 4: tuned in once.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it is so special. I say it often.
- 21:10Speaker 2: I'll say it again. It has been nothing but a joy.
- 21:14Speaker 2: It's weird to think we've been doing this for so long,
- 21:18Speaker 2: and that also so many of you have consistently listened
- 21:20Speaker 2: to us as we have grown up and as we
- 21:23Speaker 2: have adjusted in our lives, and as we have appeared
- 21:26Speaker 2: on new television shows and had new things to talk
- 21:28Speaker 2: about and talked about other people in their relationships. It's
- 21:32Speaker 2: been a joy. And Ashley, I think it goes understated
- 21:37Speaker 2: that you have been a co host of mine for
- 21:42Speaker 2: that like length of time. I mean I knew you
- 21:45Speaker 2: before I knew my wife.
- 21:47Speaker 4: Yeah, we truly did grow up together, as you said.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I have clips on my phone of
- 21:53Speaker 2: you crying, wondering like where Jared was at in the world.
- 21:58Speaker 4: Yes, oh my god, those times where.
- 22:02Speaker 5: I'd be like, it seems what is he doing out
- 22:05Speaker 5: right now? Like he's out with his friends. I mean,
- 22:09Speaker 5: there's a girl around you.
- 22:11Speaker 2: It's it's been awesome. Actually, I could never have pictured
- 22:14Speaker 2: a better co host, a better person to share this with.
- 22:19Speaker 2: But honestly, I think we both sit here in this
- 22:21Speaker 2: one hundred million it's kind of hard to conceptualize and
- 22:24Speaker 2: say thank you to listeners. And the reason people say
- 22:27Speaker 2: that is like thank you to my fans, is because
- 22:29Speaker 2: this doesn't exist without people listening. So the fact that
- 22:32Speaker 2: people are listening one hundred million downloads have happened is
- 22:36Speaker 2: the reason that we're still able to do this today
- 22:38Speaker 2: and that we're still able to have fun with it today.
- 22:40Speaker 2: So thank you to all of you who've been with
- 22:43Speaker 2: us since the beginning who have shared that when you
- 22:45Speaker 2: see us out in public that hey, you're a listener
- 22:47Speaker 2: of the almost famous podcast, it means more than you
- 22:51Speaker 2: can imagine. And I cannot wait for the day we
- 22:54Speaker 2: hit two hundred million downloads. I'm hoping it's next year.
- 22:58Speaker 2: I'm hoping this thing kind of picks up steam as
- 23:01Speaker 2: Taylor Frankie Paul becomes our bachelor at that.
- 23:03Speaker 4: And maybe my Housewives thing will give us a little jump.
- 23:06Speaker 4: But Ben, right back at.
- 23:08Speaker 2: You, I need to do something to help out. What
- 23:11Speaker 2: have I done?
- 23:12Speaker 5: You got to get on Traders or Special Forces or something.
- 23:16Speaker 4: Yeah, we need you on one of those two shows.
- 23:19Speaker 3: You know.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I need I need to figure that.
- 23:21Speaker 4: Can we do Traders together?
- 23:23Speaker 5: Oh it's just I'm manifesting because like I have the crossover, right,
- 23:28Speaker 5: So I have a Housewives and Bachelor, so I fit
- 23:31Speaker 5: I have two quotas there.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Can you imagine how dangerous we would be We would
- 23:37Speaker 2: form this alliance that like would be like we could
- 23:41Speaker 2: like speak to each other, but unspokenly, like.
- 23:43Speaker 4: We can we can talk to each other through our eyes.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Yeah, and you'd be like, oh, I know exactly what
- 23:48Speaker 2: he's thinking.
- 23:49Speaker 5: We would have to both be the same thing. You
- 23:51Speaker 5: could probably lie to me a little bit, because I'm
- 23:54Speaker 5: pretty like I could fall for stuff like that, as
- 23:56Speaker 5: you know, But I, as we know, can't lie it
- 24:00Speaker 5: all or exaggerate at all.
- 24:01Speaker 2: So let's put it on the world as I I
- 24:03Speaker 2: putting it out right now. Congratulations again to the almost
- 24:07Speaker 2: famous podcast team. There are people behind the scenes that
- 24:10Speaker 2: you've never heard from, never knew, that have helped keep
- 24:13Speaker 2: this thing going. Thank you to iHeart for giving us
- 24:16Speaker 2: the platform to do it on and thank you to
- 24:18Speaker 2: you Ashley for sticking by our side through thick and thin.
- 24:24Speaker 2: And here soon. Here's my concern. You're gonna go on
- 24:27Speaker 2: Real Housewives. You're gonna become a megastar. I'm gonna start
- 24:31Speaker 2: getting really nervous to jump on here with you, and
- 24:33Speaker 2: you're gonna say, hey, like this just doesn't fit into
- 24:36Speaker 2: my life anymore.
- 24:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't think that's gonna happen.
- 24:38Speaker 5: If anything, I just hope that Housewives continues to let
- 24:42Speaker 5: me live the life that I've been living for the
- 24:44Speaker 5: past eleven years a little bit longer, and that includes
- 24:48Speaker 5: being with you here multiple times.
- 24:49Speaker 2: A week until next time. One hundred million downloads later,
- 24:55Speaker 2: I've been Been I've.
- 24:56Speaker 4: Been Ashley Tulu.
