- 0:08Welcome to Cannabis School. I'm your host, Jesse Angeles.
- 0:11And I'm Brandon Elder. And we're here to talk to you
- 0:14about everything pertaining to cannabis from vape, flour,
- 0:18edibles. Strains.
- 0:19And everything in between. Good morning, guys.
- 0:27Hey, hey, how you guys doing? Welcome back, we've got another
- 0:32Strain episode today. Yeah, we got one of our locals
- 0:35here. Some Betty Wellness.
- 0:38Fantastic growers, always really good.
- 0:41You know what I really like about from Betty Halle Berry?
- 0:45I that is still one of my favorites.
- 0:47I know that we really liked Cougar piss.
- 0:50As far as a sativa, a kind of feeling strain, Halle Berry.
- 0:55I think I've got the most bud from a pharmacy of that strain
- 0:59to date. Like, really, I don't think I've
- 1:02ever gone back to a pharmacy that many times for the same
- 1:05strain with Halle Berry. I haven't, I haven't gotten a
- 1:09visit to Beehive yet 'cause I would get another eighth of
- 1:13finger pissing second. You know, the thing that I've
- 1:15really, I like Halle Berry, but what I've really been impressed
- 1:20with lately is getting all the new strains from Dragonfly and
- 1:25Betty and they have some really good ones.
- 1:27There's some been some really soft bud.
- 1:28Yeah, it has some interesting flavors with that.
- 1:33Oh, there we go. Think of it like if it's the
- 1:35minty that I'm tasting or there's some flavor that I got
- 1:38in the first bit and it almost feels like a minty note.
- 1:42I got to try it again and see. Yeah, it's pretty mild as far as
- 1:46flavour over there when you're looking at the troop.
- 1:49Oh my gosh, I'm yawning. I apologize.
- 1:51I'm. Tired today?
- 1:52Apparently. Yeah, I.
- 1:54Didn't I didn't have to say this, I didn't have my I didn't
- 1:57have my decaf coffee today. Beta carophylline is the top one
- 2:01in there, but then after that it's humaline Bisabol low.
- 2:06Visibilol. Visibilol.
- 2:08Yeah. Not very familiar with that one.
- 2:10Lemon, lemonine and little oil. Yeah, so it's actually the beta
- 2:14carefully is the highest one visible oil such a tiny amount.
- 2:18Let's take a look and see here. So it's supposed to be soothing
- 2:25with anti irritant prop to irritant so you're less
- 2:30irritated. What is that even supposed to?
- 2:32Mean maybe the irritant is on your lungs or on your throat.
- 2:35I do not usually even doesn't matter what we smoke out of this
- 2:40one. Usually the first few hits can
- 2:42kind of be a little rough depending on what the like a
- 2:45beta carophiline or. Hasn't been super coffee though,
- 2:49like I do feel like a little bit after that one down in the back
- 2:53of my throat, but it's not quite as bad.
- 2:55No, not even close. There is a mentiness though.
- 2:59Right, it was just like a. In the back.
- 3:01A subtle, I think it's more when it's fresher, as we're going a
- 3:04little bit further into the boulders.
- 3:06Less of that minty. It's got a little more of a
- 3:09spicy Yeah in the back of my throat.
- 3:11Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like I want to know more about
- 3:14that one. Which one?
- 3:15The visible all. Yeah, visible.
- 3:16All yeah, such a unique terpene. So did we even say what today's
- 3:21strain was? Today's strain is. 5280 Yeah by
- 3:26Betty Wellness. Never really got into I, never
- 3:29I. It's such a weird name.
- 3:32I wonder where they got that. Is that a common strain I have?
- 3:35No idea, it's mixed with Dante's Inferno and RS11 Rs 11 sounds
- 3:41familiar but I don't honestly know if I've had that one.
- 3:45I know that I've had Dante's Inferno, but.
- 3:47Yeah, it's been a hot minute. Yeah.
- 3:49And I don't remember if that was in bud or in concentrate.
- 3:52So it's not a very common strain 5280.
- 3:55Are you looking for it on on other places?
- 3:59Or yeah, just do cultivar. No, I'm looking at the other
- 4:02places. Colorado.
- 4:04OK, OK. One known version is 5280 gravy.
- 4:08It's an indica dominant one. Typical traits are relaxing,
- 4:12sedated body heavy effects. THC is off from around about 20
- 4:15to 23%. That's about 20%, a little above
- 4:1920% or halfway if we're going to round it, used for things like
- 4:21pain, sleep, stress. But that's the yeah, the 5280
- 4:26typically is like that. One, the gravy one, yeah,
- 4:28there's all sorts of different ones I'm seeing.
- 4:29There is definitely the 5280 gravy.
- 4:32There's also another one that's a hemp one that's 5280 but
- 4:35that's from a different. Oh, that's weird.
- 4:37Yeah. It's already I'm starting to
- 4:40feel the effects. It's very calming.
- 4:42Very. It could be sedative man.
- 4:44Why am I? Just falling asleep, it's.
- 4:46Ohh, my gosh, I got up early this morning, kids, and I was
- 4:50getting, I was gonna get here on time and I was gonna be like,
- 4:53Yep, we're gonna get done. We're gonna get a bunch of them
- 4:54done and. He fell back asleep.
- 4:56Ohhh yeah. Had a good long nap and woke up
- 4:58and I was like he's still tired I.
- 5:00Wake up, I'm like ohh shit. And then I pull up my phone.
- 5:03I'm like oh shit but. I like it.
- 5:06It's. A it's a It's an indicate
- 5:08leaning dominant. You can feel the calming.
- 5:10I feel it in my head, but it's not like a pressure the same
- 5:14way. It's just a very interesting.
- 5:17More like a presence. It's just there.
- 5:19It's not too hard. It's.
- 5:21Weird. I'm trying to see if this
- 5:23dissipates. I have this pain in the side of
- 5:26my head suddenly and I'm wondering if it is.
- 5:29There are strains that do that, but that's just typically your
- 5:31like your your sativa strains like high sativa.
- 5:34Yeah, not like this is our first bowl.
- 5:37A couple like we're not far into it, I feel.
- 5:39No, not at all. And that's the crazy thing, like
- 5:42with some of these strains, slow onset, fast onset, you know, dab
- 5:46or elsewhere. No, I gotta take that back.
- 5:48Dab you're going to feel almost instantaneously.
- 5:51It is like a presence. It's there, but it's like quiet.
- 5:54Yeah, it's quietly in my body. It's not like standing out in
- 5:59any. Very pleasant smoke like.
- 6:02I don't, Yeah. I don't feel.
- 6:04What's the word shitty. I don't know.
- 6:07No, no, not. Like I've been smoking some bud
- 6:08that makes you feel shitty. Which one have we slurty number
- 6:13slurty. Three, yeah.
- 6:14Nope. Yeah, that one was.
- 6:15Nope. I was just disappointed because
- 6:19it was such a claim of hey this is the highest herps and
- 6:21thinking oh this has got to be such an amazing experience.
- 6:24And I was like meh. This is like a unique feeling
- 6:27strain, kind of like red velvet. I like red velvet, felt more
- 6:31relaxing to me. And your tongue, No cottonmouth
- 6:35like the tongue, felt soft. Yeah, this tongue feels
- 6:38different, slightly dry but not to the point clicky the same,
- 6:43but it is dry. No, it hits the tongue first.
- 6:46Yeah, right. It doesn't hit the rest of the
- 6:47mouth. Like you get certain strains
- 6:50that just make your mouth feel like it's full of sand.
- 6:53Weird it is. It is a very tongue heavy
- 6:56strain. Like it look feels like it's
- 6:58like my entire tongue. Yeah, but the rest of my mouth
- 7:00is fine. Very unique.
- 7:02Very unique. But just a very subtle strain.
- 7:05I think this would be a very good hiker.
- 7:08This is a hiking strain. Yeah, I could do that.
- 7:10Well, and you got to think about that like, you know, typical
- 7:12people think in the complaining strain is just more for chill,
- 7:16sleep, whatever. But you also think about your
- 7:19physical activities and if you're going to be doing, I
- 7:22mean, like old guys like me, you know, if I'm going to be working
- 7:25around the house today, I'm definitely going to get sore
- 7:28working out in the yard after a long period of time, right?
- 7:31So I'm thinking about those things.
- 7:33I'm thinking about this would be a great workout strain at the
- 7:36gym because it's not foggy. Not at all, like very subtle.
- 7:40It's just chill enough that you could get focused in it,
- 7:44slightly relaxed enough that it would help with your muscles and
- 7:47stuff. For workout or hike.
- 7:49I really enjoy it when I go hiking because, you know, I
- 7:52don't hike all the time, but when I do, my body's still like,
- 7:55oh, hey, you're old and out of shape and lazy, so you kind of
- 7:59hurt. So a joint or five is like the
- 8:02perfect body to breathe. Yeah, we got it.
- 8:04The our weather is really chaotic here in Utah.
- 8:08It's just random. Some days it's raining, some
- 8:10days it's snowing, some days it's sunny.
- 8:13So we're just kind of like playing Russian roulette here.
- 8:15But yeah, as we get closer and closer to the first part of
- 8:19summer in Utah, that's typically late spring.
- 8:23And that's like one of the best times go hiking.
- 8:25I think the best times go hiking is in the fall.
- 8:28Beautiful colors, you know, different, different temperature
- 8:32sets. Like you could start in the
- 8:34morning with the jacket, you're ending it with a tight around
- 8:36your waist. Yeah, well, that's kind of
- 8:38spring too, as long as there's no snow melt where you're going
- 8:41because. Yeah, we don't have that I.
- 8:43Love. Yeah.
- 8:44Not this year. I love hiking in the spring.
- 8:46I love the green. I love that I love the fall
- 8:48colors. But I only like spring hiking if
- 8:51it's dry. Like I'm not in the mud, in the
- 8:54snow. You know one thing about this
- 8:55strain that has been unusual? I fidget non-stop, and I fidget
- 9:01not because I'm consciously thinking of it, my body just
- 9:05does it. I'm normally my legs like this
- 9:07all the time. Yeah, this strain has kind of
- 9:10calmed that down. Do you know, I really enjoy when
- 9:13a strain does that to me when I notice that my my foot or my
- 9:17hand or whatever I'm normally doing where my body is just so
- 9:20still and I'm like, this is weird because my.
- 9:22Body is. At peace.
- 9:24In that moment I'm like, I don't know why because normally I
- 9:28don't feel tight or tense or anxious, but it is my body is in
- 9:31the slight state of. Elevation.
- 9:35Of being like slightly maybe agitated or, or tense.
- 9:39And then some of these other strains come in and they're
- 9:40like, hey bro, simmer down. And you're like your whole body
- 9:43just relaxes and you're like, wait, oh hey, I'm not, I'm not
- 9:47fidgeting. Dude, like I'm barely moving my
- 9:49foot around, but not like like dude, one of the things that's
- 9:54really hard like I'm in at work, my foot is going nuts underneath
- 9:58my desk. It's and I start to know the
- 10:00reason why I notice is I'm in this cubicle and the next
- 10:02cubicle there's a guy over there and I know I'm shaking the whole
- 10:05fucking and I feel bad, but at the same time I'm just like,
- 10:09well, I got to go. And I always think that sativa
- 10:13is always the best for work. But thinking about right now,
- 10:165280 would be a great focus train for getting tasks done.
- 10:21Not necessarily just physical tasks.
- 10:22I'm talking about mental tasks like office work, sales work,
- 10:26whatever, where you're just doing a repetitive action over
- 10:29and over and over. That's where I'm like, come on,
- 10:31Like I got to go. There's this certain level of
- 10:34relaxation that comes with this that would be perfect for like a
- 10:38sales job or something because there's always that level of
- 10:42anxiety, fear, whatever you want to call it, of oh, they're going
- 10:46to say no, oh, this is going to happen.
- 10:48And we're like projecting all of these things in our mind of all
- 10:51of this stuff. And I think it causes this
- 10:53tightness in our body and that if going into those types of
- 10:57things with this type of relaxation where your body's
- 10:59just like you're good. This is so good.
- 11:01Like if you were going to go out and try a new restaurant string
- 11:05because of the tongue feels like sandpaper, You notice that.
- 11:09Like it's really, but the rest of my mouth isn't.
- 11:13Which is pleasant in one way, because as relaxing as it is,
- 11:16like this wouldn't be a good sexy time string.
- 11:20Not at all, 'cause the tongue's all dry and it feels like a cat
- 11:23tongue. Yeah, it's super dry.
- 11:26If you get your mouth wet, maybe then it's even.
- 11:28There like I mean, I'm taking drinks and I'm like, I still
- 11:31feel like when I push it against the roof of my mouth, it makes
- 11:34me think of this thing like, you know where people go like old
- 11:36wives tale like what my parents used to tell me, like, you know
- 11:39why your skin gets all wrinkly in the water because it's
- 11:42getting too much water and it's like over hydrating it.
- 11:45But what they found is that our body does it naturally to
- 11:50actually create grip. Mine so I've noticed everyone's
- 11:54different. Right, right, right.
- 11:55I don't get it very often. Mine happens so fast I can be in
- 11:58the shower and within 5 to 10 minutes I will have some prunty
- 12:02fingers and I'm like oh look at me I'm like spooter person I can
- 12:05climb the walls shit. Like your toes get that soon
- 12:08but. Yeah, but it's weird because I
- 12:10know other people, it'll be like 30 minutes, 40 minutes, an hour,
- 12:13and they're like, oh, look, I'm fine.
- 12:15I'm like, I'm over here like Mr. Raisin.
- 12:18California Raisin. Yeah, like does it take you a
- 12:21long time to become a Raisin? Oh yeah.
- 12:24I'm a water baby. I always was growing up.
- 12:27We grandma and grandpa had the pool, they lived down the hill.
- 12:30We went boating when I was 9 all the time like from then on.
- 12:33So I was always in the. Water.
- 12:35I'd have to be in the water for a really long period of time,
- 12:38like at a community pool or something like that, which I
- 12:41would never go to again. But back in the day, that was
- 12:43the place to go, right? Yeah.
- 12:46Well, the local rec center. Maybe we did it once in a blue
- 12:50moon, but like I said, grandma and grandpa had a pool so yeah,
- 12:54why go to a crazy busy place if I can go to the one down the
- 12:57hill? To meet girls, you can't meet
- 13:01girls at grandma's. It's just your cousins.
- 13:03They're just like. Shit, no.
- 13:05But see, I was never going to the pool to meet girls, so I
- 13:08don't know. That's the only reason why I
- 13:09went to the pool. But I mean, even then though,
- 13:12like I, I didn't swim a lot when I was a kid.
- 13:15I wish I would have gone. I wish I would have right?
- 13:17But more of a wish on this one, like, and I haven't been very
- 13:20good with it. I wish I would have done more
- 13:22stuff with my kids, like kind of traditional things, right?
- 13:26I think it's so easy to get caught up in in instantaneous
- 13:30things. I mean, even going to the movies
- 13:32is like going camping. You do it once or twice a year.
- 13:35You really don't go a lot. Yeah, there's not a lot of
- 13:39movies that I'm like, oh, we should see this.
- 13:41You know, there's ones that Addie's really big anatomy.
- 13:44So the Demon Slayer movie came back to theaters and I was like,
- 13:47oh, OK, yeah, I'll go take you to go see that.
- 13:50So we went and saw that. Like, I think Emily and I went
- 13:53and saw a movie as well this year.
- 13:56It's not something that I usually go.
- 13:58Dude, no, I may. There are certain like I, I,
- 14:01it's rare to go see a movie just to just because you're just so
- 14:06excited to see it, because most of them are just uneventful and
- 14:09they don't feel like I got to be in the theater.
- 14:11Have you guys found a good movie lately that you've been just
- 14:14ecstatic to go watch? Because I haven't found of any
- 14:17or anything like I have to go see this.
- 14:20One movie that I've been hearing a lot about is Hail Mary.
- 14:24I've heard a lot of really good things.
- 14:26I don't. Know if I've heard anything?
- 14:27It's about this school teacher that is being sent to the sun to
- 14:32do so. I don't know.
- 14:33It's a it's a sci-fi movie but it's in space.
- 14:36It's like Interstellar but not as serious and more and I love
- 14:42Interstellar. It could be good still.
- 14:44Though it is I, everybody at my work has seen it and they're
- 14:48like, I'm going to go see it again.
- 14:49Is it in theaters? Right now, yeah.
- 14:51Oh, OK. I don't ever go to the movies
- 14:53really, so I don't know. I don't either.
- 14:55I mean, why? What's coming out?
- 14:56Yeah. I'm I'm lame, I'll watch a movie
- 14:59on my phone rather than go to the theater.
- 15:02Really. See, I, I don't know, most of
- 15:06the time when the whole point of a theater is like, oh, you get
- 15:09the bigger screen. Wow.
- 15:11You get a bigger screen, you get a surround sound.
- 15:14Yeah, yeah, yeah. I have a surround sound, my T VS
- 15:17big enough. So at that point, usually I
- 15:19think I can go to a movie theater where I cannot smoke the
- 15:23entire time. I can't puff on a strain.
- 15:25I can't pause it and go, hey, I'm going to go take a pee real
- 15:28fast and not miss a single thing.
- 15:30It's like, all right, I have to be there.
- 15:32And what if the kid behind me is kicking my chair or someone
- 15:35farts and it's really stinky or like someone's talking to?
- 15:38The theater to you. Like you've never had a kid
- 15:41just. Fart I I well, I'm different on
- 15:44that. I I don't like kid movies in
- 15:47theaters. We went and saw the Mario
- 15:49Brothers because Steph's brother wanted to do it for his
- 15:52birthday. First of all, it's it's a movie.
- 15:54It it I. Saw the first one with the kids.
- 15:57Like, you know what? It feels like the same thing.
- 15:59It feels like something you should be watching on Netflix.
- 16:02It does not something in the theater.
- 16:04And all I kept thinking was, I'm like, I mean, I don't give a
- 16:07shit how much money we spent on there because we don't do it
- 16:10very often. Yeah, but to me, I still like
- 16:12when I go to the movies. I'm like, I was 15 bucks a
- 16:15person. Unless you go on Tuesday and
- 16:18then if you get popcorn and a drink or anything else, it
- 16:22you're like ends up being way more just for watching a movie.
- 16:26I'm like, yeah, I can make popcorn at home, have my own
- 16:29snacks, smoke weed the entire time.
- 16:32Well, that's the thing too. Like my kid said that he goes,
- 16:35Nick, he's all fucking bullshit popcorn, so fucking expensive.
- 16:39I'm like, yeah, it does seem like bullshit, doesn't it?
- 16:42And he goes, yeah, he's like, why is it so expensive?
- 16:44I'm like, well, every single reel you could call a reel now
- 16:47it's a digital file, but every reel would cost a certain amount
- 16:51the each theater had to buy. I used to work in the theaters
- 16:53when I was a kid and that's where they made their money back
- 16:57was on the popcorn because of the the sugar water and corn is
- 17:02super, super cheap. They buy it by massive bags and
- 17:06they got the syrup things. Soda and popcorn is where they
- 17:09make their money. Yeah, it's like, OK, if we can
- 17:11sell these or maybe they're slushies or whatever, they can
- 17:14make it all back and you're like, OK, cool.
- 17:17But for a consumer now where you're going, popcorn's like 12
- 17:20bucks, large drinks like 6-8 bucks.
- 17:23I think the worst is that you're, you know, that the thing
- 17:26that I remember was that what made it awesome was the
- 17:31experience through it. I didn't know something I was
- 17:34going to get. I was excited to go to the
- 17:36theater because it was like cool.
- 17:38I remember getting sold out theaters and I had to wait in
- 17:41line to get tickets. There was better movies.
- 17:44We didn't have Netflix. Where they're going, hey, you
- 17:47need a new thing every day, every week.
- 17:49It's going to be pure shit. We're just going to push it out,
- 17:51but you're going to get it. Or how would you like to watch
- 17:53the first season today? Yeah, instead of over, like
- 17:58remember season. Day it was like, oh, Tuesday's
- 18:00dropping you got a new episode all right, you got to wait.
- 18:03I remember watching The Walking Dead and it was like oh fuck,
- 18:06And then they put you're like oh, oh, wait, and then at the
- 18:09end of that episode you're like, is it going to play next week?
- 18:12Are they airing next week or is it going to be a break week?
- 18:15And then it it becomes a break week and you're like, no, I
- 18:18missed it. Like there's a whole another
- 18:19week I have to wait. You enjoyed it?
- 18:21But you. Yeah.
- 18:23And it was like at a certain time, you watched it.
- 18:25Now we have every everything on streaming, we have the
- 18:27continuous scroll. It's just like.
- 18:29Well, you think about it like the same way that
- 18:32overconsumption of entertainment is overconsumption of food.
- 18:37We have fatter and more unhealthy people now than ever
- 18:41because of why? Instant gratification.
- 18:44So when we get entertainment like this would be a really
- 18:47difficult thing to do for many people.
- 18:49Pick a series that you like to watch, but only watch it twice a
- 18:54week. 1 episode. Or once a week even.
- 18:57Like it only came out on We're Only.
- 18:59Going to watch this one and this time.
- 19:02So now you're going. In one episode and then after.
- 19:04That one episode. Like turning off the TV.
- 19:07That's hard to do. That's why YouTube is such a
- 19:10brain rot. Or any of the streaming.
- 19:13You know, it's all the continuous it's.
- 19:15It's too much. It does it all on its own.
- 19:17You don't even have to do it. And it's like, oh, we'll keep
- 19:19playing something more, don't worry, we got you.
- 19:22We'll keep you entertained. Just give us your time.
- 19:24Stuffed like a fat fucking pig of just entertainment.
- 19:28And that's why food is the way it is now, too.
- 19:32It's not that the food manufacturers were making.
- 19:35They're just like, we got to keep them at Dan Dan.
- 19:37More of the consumers like, hey, I have more time, it'd be great
- 19:43if I had snacks. But we don't spend that time to
- 19:46do anything of value truly for us half the time.
- 19:49Well, but. Think about what art you just
- 19:50said it before you had to wait next Tuesday.
- 19:53Fuck. Patience is something that we
- 19:56have learned not to do more we've.
- 19:58Degraded. It convenience of now.
- 20:01Comfortable collapse. Well, what I I don't want to
- 20:04wait for this. I want this now.
- 20:05So I'll just go to this place or this place or right here.
- 20:07I'll go to Amazon because I want it now.
- 20:10Yeah. You go back 20-30 year, let's
- 20:13take 25 years, let's go back 25 years.
- 20:16If we went back to then say the power shuts down, you do OK.
- 20:20Yeah, 100%. Today.
- 20:22Oh God, the world would like. Who would cook food?
- 20:27Who would know how to? People with experience of
- 20:31overflame and of building a fire and or having gas.
- 20:34You know, there's living off of the land, knowing where you can
- 20:38have your, you know, permanent new latrine, 'cause that's what
- 20:41it's gonna turn into. It's not just go shit anywhere
- 20:44in the woods. You know, it's, it's now like
- 20:47you got to think about nowadays people are so over reliant upon
- 20:51instant gratification that there would be a lot of people who
- 20:55would just fucking die. Like some people, they're like.
- 20:59Food. Just food alone.
- 21:01You think about how many people don't know how to cook.
- 21:04Or even know that there are different options like, you
- 21:07know, I know that there's certain kids that are like, no,
- 21:10I'm only going. To eat pop tarts.
- 21:12But when they're little, I get that they get fixated on certain
- 21:15things and and that's their behaviors trying to develop.
- 21:19But when you're 1415 and all you're eating is fishy crackers
- 21:23and pop Tarts? That's because no one ever made
- 21:25you branch out and go no, just just try it.
- 21:28You might actually like this. Well, but it's not even that.
- 21:30It's just too many options. Like I was listening to Seth
- 21:33Godin's book Free Prize inside. It's a marketing book because
- 21:38I'm, I'm, I'm feel like I'm hitting a wall in sales.
- 21:42And the problem is, is I kept thinking about I'm like, where
- 21:45did you get the best sales ideas for marketing?
- 21:49Go back to marketing books. So I go back to because sales
- 21:52books are all like, bro, just say these things and they roll
- 21:55over and show you their belly. They're like, Oh my gosh,
- 21:58nobody's ever said it to me like that before.
- 22:01You just got to be their friend, yeah.
- 22:02OK cool. What?
- 22:03What the fuck does that mean? Yeah, show up randomly at their
- 22:06house with beer and and pizza. Hey I want to hang out.
- 22:10You're an insurance guy? Yeah.
- 22:12I don't know. I was just driving by and
- 22:14happened to have cold brew and hot pizza.
- 22:16Fucking weird. I mean, if someone showed up
- 22:18with beer and pizza, I might listen to whatever they're going
- 22:21to say. Yeah.
- 22:22Look, all right, fuck it. Come sit down.
- 22:23I'll share a beer with you. No, but it it just we because of
- 22:27that one, it our our comfort, the the the lives we live of
- 22:31comfort has been able to push us further away from each other.
- 22:35So that's why like real life engaging events.
- 22:39I think that's some of the things like what I found out
- 22:41about Utah County, where, where, where we live in, in, in our
- 22:45state. You know, the bigot like I, I do
- 22:47the dating thing like I am booked out for an entire month.
- 22:50I'm so thrilled, but here in Utah County, I asked him.
- 22:54I said, how about Utah counties? They get to go.
- 22:56Oh no, no, no. The only thing that they pay for
- 22:58down here is friend groups, getting people together to make
- 23:02friends. That's.
- 23:03It interesting. Salt Lake dating and I I was
- 23:07like, that makes sense because if somebody down here in Utah
- 23:10counties is like, I want to do something different I'm going to
- 23:13go to I'm going to go to Salt Lake I'm going to go to the big
- 23:15city right and they come up, which is a pretty big city now
- 23:19and. Well, any night event place that
- 23:23Utah County has had has disappeared.
- 23:25There was Boxcar Studios in Provo that would have occasional
- 23:29like entertaining things. Really.
- 23:31I didn't know that. Yeah, down in Provo.
- 23:33They moved up to Salt Lake years ago.
- 23:35It'd be cool if like a wise guys was down here.
- 23:37Actually, they used to have a wise guy.
- 23:38They used to close down. There used to be a club on
- 23:42Center St. in Provo that closed down the Sky bar and they also
- 23:45closed down Shitty Limits. Shitty Limits is now closed.
- 23:49There's a lot of things that Utah County itself is just like,
- 23:52Oh well, we don't have much of events or things that go on.
- 23:57But you know, it's kind of good though, in a way, because then
- 24:00it helps to push you out of your comfort zone and I'm going to go
- 24:04somewhere else. Plus, it's kind of nice nowadays
- 24:06with the whole Uber Uber world that is so safe.
- 24:11Like if I was planning on going getting, you know, a little
- 24:15tipsy, I could never get smashed these days.
- 24:17I would not be fun. But you know, if I did decide to
- 24:21do that, I'm Uber in it. That's how Casey would do it.
- 24:24He would come down sometimes and he knew that he was going to be
- 24:28getting a little sloshed. And so he just an Uber down and
- 24:31then an Uber home. And even with kids nowadays,
- 24:34like I love that you can put, oh, it's my kid riding and you
- 24:38can select whether or not your kid feels comfortable with what
- 24:41type of person in that. And you can select that for your
- 24:45kids to have an Uber. Home.
- 24:46Yep, I love that too. Dude, You know what this strain
- 24:50is? You don't feel it anywhere
- 24:53really strongly, No, like not like a tightness in the chest or
- 24:57in your neck or on your temples. Like you feel it.
- 25:00As we kind of stated it earlier, it's just a presence.
- 25:04It's a. Presence.
- 25:05It's a chill friend. Yeah, it's a chill friend.
- 25:07Put their arm, you know, they're, they're just there, not
- 25:10putting your arms running because I don't like fucking
- 25:11people touching me. 50 to 80 is your bud.
- 25:14It is your. Bud, it's just gonna hang out,
- 25:16chill like man. It's an anti anxiety, man.
- 25:21I'm fucking. I should have grabbed.
- 25:23I mean I grabbed another Halle Berry, but I should have grabbed
- 25:26that. Oh my gosh.
- 25:27Oh we had no idea, we hadn't tried it yet.
- 25:29If you haven't tried 5280, it is definitely worth checking out.
- 25:33Yeah, you got 5280 gravy as well out there.
- 25:36Similar effects, but check it out.
- 25:39Let us know what you think. Yeah, catch you on Thursday.
- 25:43Yeah, take care.
