Listen: నాకు కూర కావాలి. Luna: నాకు కూర కావాలి. I want curry. Lucas: Perfect. Now for roti: నాకు రోటీ కావాలి. That's 'I want roti.' Say it. Luna: నాకు రోటీ కావాలి. Easy enough. Lucas: Good. Now suppose you want to order one curry dish: ఒక కూర ఇవ్వండి. 'Give me one curry.' Notice we use ఇవ్వండి which is polite. Luna: ఒక కూర ఇవ్వండి. So that's like 'Please give me one curry.' Lucas: Exactly. And for rotis, you might want two: రెండు రోటీలు ఇవ్వండి. 'Give me two rotis.' Luna: రెండు రోటీలు ఇవ్వండి. I can do that. Lucas: Let's put them together in a mini-scene.
