- 0:00Speaker 1: You just heard the news.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Now you'll find out what it all means. Hey, smart
- 0:06Speaker 2: simone on seven ten. Woah, Well, lots to get to today.
- 0:12Speaker 2: We'll get over Minnesota, Zuppruterer like by frame. We'll get
- 0:16Speaker 2: to crazy Kathy Hoko, We'll get to Mom Donnie, We'll
- 0:20Speaker 2: get to Greenland. Anybody remember Maduro. He'll be forgotten about now.
- 0:25Speaker 2: You won't hear about him again for a month. All
- 0:27Speaker 2: you can to hear about is Minnesota. He's gonna be
- 0:31Speaker 2: sitting in the Brooklyn Detention Center looking at the TV
- 0:35Speaker 2: NonStop Minnesota coverage. Maduro will be saying, well, what happened
- 0:39Speaker 2: to me? They forget about me? That he's forgotten about.
- 0:42Speaker 2: We'll get to Nick Reiner, his lawyer quit Minnesota. You're
- 0:47Speaker 2: gonna hear about this now for the next month. It's
- 0:51Speaker 2: gonna be rough because you got really, really, really bad
- 0:56Speaker 2: public officials in Minnesota. You got a crazy left wing
- 1:01Speaker 2: mayor who obviously you know, you got the nuttiest governor
- 1:05Speaker 2: in America, Tim Waltz. They've been trying to rile this
- 1:08Speaker 2: thing up. In fact, if anybody caused this, it's well
- 1:12Speaker 2: the whole left wing attack Ice movement, but especially in Minnesota,
- 1:18Speaker 2: where the governor Waltz is called the Ice the Gestapo
- 1:22Speaker 2: and they're snatching up people off the streets. And the
- 1:25Speaker 2: mayor's been just as bad. Even yesterday after this horrible incident,
- 1:29Speaker 2: he just tries to rile things up talking about Ice.
- 1:31Speaker 3: And I have a message for Ice to Ice get
- 1:36Speaker 3: out of Minneapolis.
- 1:38Speaker 2: You see, you're not supposed to do that if you're
- 1:42Speaker 2: a mayor. Now, it's a kind of thing Trump might
- 1:44Speaker 2: do where he doesn't act presidential and he'll use the
- 1:47Speaker 2: F word or something like it and then all hell
- 1:49Speaker 2: breaks loose. But when the Democrat does it, it's just fine.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Have you heard anybody any mainstream of fake news media?
- 1:56Speaker 2: Have they complained about this guy's language?
- 1:57Speaker 3: And I have a message for Ice to Ice get
- 2:02Speaker 3: out of Minneapolis.
- 2:04Speaker 2: So but it's Democrats, So it's weapons grade hypocrisy. They're
- 2:09Speaker 2: not going to go after this guy, but he just
- 2:10Speaker 2: went on and on trashing Ice.
- 2:12Speaker 3: They are already trying to spin this as an action
- 2:15Speaker 3: of self defense. Having seen the video of myself, I
- 2:20Speaker 3: want to tell everybody directly that.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Is this is a totally reckless, irresponsible mayor who's going
- 2:29Speaker 2: to get people killed over this Now, what are you
- 2:32Speaker 2: supposed to do. You're supposed to wait till you have
- 2:35Speaker 2: more facts. You know, you're speaking an hour after the
- 2:38Speaker 2: whole thing. You haven't had a chance to really go
- 2:40Speaker 2: over the video or talk to anybody. Tom Homan, believe
- 2:43Speaker 2: it or not, was the voice of reason. This is
- 2:46Speaker 2: the kind of thing you're supposed to say right after
- 2:48Speaker 2: the incident. What good is it to do right now?
- 2:50Speaker 2: To me?
- 2:51Speaker 4: Prejudge the Fact's what happened to say without giving law
- 2:55Speaker 4: enforced professional for the j FPI or the local police there,
- 2:58Speaker 4: give them time to look at all the talk to
- 3:00Speaker 4: all the witnesses, talk to the officers, and make an
- 3:03Speaker 4: educated decision. What occurred today?
- 3:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what you're supposed to do, now, Christy Nome, Yeah,
- 3:13Speaker 2: she went too far too She declared it immediately domestic terrorism.
- 3:18Speaker 1: It was an active domestic terrorism. What happened was our
- 3:21Speaker 1: ice officers were out in an enforcement action. They got
- 3:25Speaker 1: stuck in the snow because of the adverse weather that
- 3:27Speaker 1: is in Minneapolis. They were attempting to push out their vehicle,
- 3:30Speaker 1: and a woman attacked them and those surrounding them and
- 3:32Speaker 1: attempted to run them over and ram them with her vehicle.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Yeah, Now the woman is a criminal, an absolute criminal,
- 3:40Speaker 2: resisting arrest and all sorts of stuff, all sorts of
- 3:42Speaker 2: criminal acts. Had there been no shooting, the woman would
- 3:45Speaker 2: be in jail right now and getting charged with about
- 3:47Speaker 2: nine things. She was a criminal at that moment based
- 3:51Speaker 2: on her behavior. But domestic terrorist, I don't know about that.
- 3:56Speaker 2: And what is Christynome doing wearing that cowboy hat on camera?
- 3:59Speaker 2: It looks a little, doesn't it. But here's here are
- 4:02Speaker 2: the facts. Remember, everybody goes nuts after an incident like this.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Everybody goes totally tribal, and one tribe goes to their
- 4:10Speaker 2: extreme right and one tribe goes to the extreme left.
- 4:16Speaker 2: The facts. They keep showing you the video where it
- 4:19Speaker 2: looks like the woman has brushed by the cop and
- 4:23Speaker 2: is about to drive away, and it looks like there
- 4:26Speaker 2: was no reason to shoot, and he's shooting into the side,
- 4:29Speaker 2: into the passenger and the driver's window on the side,
- 4:33Speaker 2: where all you know, she would have driven away, and
- 4:35Speaker 2: you'd think, well, you don't have to shoot her. If
- 4:37Speaker 2: you had to really catch her. These ice guys all
- 4:40Speaker 2: have vehicles. They could have caught her. But they're not
- 4:43Speaker 2: showing you two videos and that's the problem. If you
- 4:46Speaker 2: watch network news or mainstream stuff, they're not showing you
- 4:51Speaker 2: two specific videos that were taken from the front. One
- 4:56Speaker 2: of them is up on my Twitter if you want
- 4:57Speaker 2: to see it. But there are two videos taken from
- 5:00Speaker 2: the front that they deliberately don't show you. And if
- 5:02Speaker 2: you look at the ones taken from the front, she
- 5:05Speaker 2: clearly hits the ice agent with her car. She hits him,
- 5:10Speaker 2: and the reason in those other videos it looks like
- 5:13Speaker 2: he was on the side of her car is when
- 5:16Speaker 2: she hit him, it knocked him to the side of
- 5:18Speaker 2: the car. But she does hit him with the car.
- 5:22Speaker 2: He gets knocked to the side, and the first Shotty fires,
- 5:25Speaker 2: it looks like the car was still coming at him
- 5:27Speaker 2: because the first shot, the first bullet hole is through
- 5:30Speaker 2: the front windshield, and that's going to be crucial in
- 5:35Speaker 2: the case. If the bullet goes to the front windshield,
- 5:37Speaker 2: he clearly was defending himself. If it goes to the
- 5:40Speaker 2: side windshield, well that seems unnecessary to keep shooting. But
- 5:44Speaker 2: once you start firing, you're firing. And it turns out
- 5:47Speaker 2: there's one report and this is why that ice officer
- 5:51Speaker 2: might have been so quick and jumpy it turns out
- 5:54Speaker 2: there's one report that this ice officer in a previous
- 5:57Speaker 2: incident somewhere else where same thing, left wing hooks were
- 6:00Speaker 2: trying to terrorize the Ice agents, the same officer was
- 6:05Speaker 2: hit by a car and dragged by the car. And
- 6:08Speaker 2: another so you could see where this guy be really
- 6:10Speaker 2: afraid of getting dragged by a car again or killed
- 6:13Speaker 2: by a car. So it'll go to a federal court.
- 6:17Speaker 2: He will not be charged with anything because if you
- 6:20Speaker 2: look at the videos from the front, she hits him
- 6:21Speaker 2: with the car. She does absolutely hit him with the car,
- 6:25Speaker 2: and then he fires. Now, you're not supposed to under normal,
- 6:28Speaker 2: say NYPD normal police department rules, not supposed to fire
- 6:32Speaker 2: into a car like that unless it's coming right at you,
- 6:35Speaker 2: and in the videos from the front, it's coming right
- 6:38Speaker 2: at him. Now. The other thing is the state of
- 6:40Speaker 2: Minnesota or the local city of Minneapolis may try to
- 6:43Speaker 2: charge him locally and put him in a left wing,
- 6:46Speaker 2: crazy left wing kind of court where he'll get convicted.
- 6:49Speaker 2: But I don't know that they could. I guess they
- 6:52Speaker 2: could charge him, I don't know if they could ever
- 6:54Speaker 2: get him into custody. He will not return to Minnesota, obviously,
- 6:59Speaker 2: and there's no way they're going to extra item. But
- 7:02Speaker 2: it's gonna this is all you're gonna hear about for us.
- 7:05Speaker 2: It's like George Floyd. George Floyd was different though, because
- 7:08Speaker 2: when you watch that cop with the knee on the neck,
- 7:11Speaker 2: you can't see in any way why that was necessary.
- 7:15Speaker 2: You just can't see it. They had the guy, uh
- 7:18Speaker 2: handcuffed in the car, even when they had him on
- 7:20Speaker 2: the ground handcuffed. No matter how much he was flopping
- 7:23Speaker 2: around or whatever he was doing, you can't see why
- 7:25Speaker 2: you would put your knee on his neck and hold
- 7:27Speaker 2: it there for that. You just can't see it. But
- 7:31Speaker 2: if you look at the videos of the front of
- 7:33Speaker 2: this car, you can see why this guy got crazy
- 7:36Speaker 2: and might have started a fire because she does hit
- 7:38Speaker 2: him with her car. Now you got crazy left wing
- 7:42Speaker 2: fake news cranking it up this morning. You know all
- 7:45Speaker 2: those reuters AP they're the ones that supply everybody. And
- 7:49Speaker 2: if you look at the headlines they were sending out,
- 7:51Speaker 2: it was the most slanted, biased stuff. The headline was
- 7:56Speaker 2: mother of a six year old a poet new to Minneapolis. Gun. Yes,
- 8:01Speaker 2: she was a mother of a six year old. And
- 8:04Speaker 2: that's what a lot of these stories that they were doing.
- 8:06Speaker 2: If you're watch in the MS, whatever the hell it
- 8:08Speaker 2: is a lot. She was a mother. There's now a
- 8:11Speaker 2: six year old without her mother. A six year old
- 8:13Speaker 2: child has lost her mother. Well, it's a very very
- 8:18Speaker 2: tragic situation. You imagine losing your mother. But on the
- 8:23Speaker 2: other hand, can you imagine your mother getting an suv
- 8:25Speaker 2: and driving into an ice operation and try to stop
- 8:29Speaker 2: them with her car. I can't imagine my mother. I
- 8:32Speaker 2: don't think you could picture your mother driving into the
- 8:35Speaker 2: middle of an ice operation. And we do know from witnesses,
- 8:38Speaker 2: we absolutely know that for that whole day she had
- 8:41Speaker 2: been terrorizing the ice operation, trying to block them, stop them,
- 8:45Speaker 2: harass them, troll them. I can't imagine my mother. I'm
- 8:48Speaker 2: sure you can't imagine your mother doing that. And if
- 8:52Speaker 2: it got to the point where it's going on forever,
- 8:54Speaker 2: you're harassing the Ice agents, blocking them, and at some
- 8:58Speaker 2: point they told you get out of the car. Do
- 9:02Speaker 2: you know anybody who if the cops told you, all right,
- 9:04Speaker 2: step out of the car, who wouldn't. And then if
- 9:08Speaker 2: they demanded you get out of the car, do you
- 9:10Speaker 2: know anybody that would back up a little and then
- 9:13Speaker 2: hit the accelerator and speed up, trying to hit them.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Even if she wasn't trying to hit them, what else
- 9:18Speaker 2: would she be doing. Well, she'd be trying to flee.
- 9:21Speaker 2: But if you are told to get out of the
- 9:25Speaker 2: car by the cops and then you attempt to flee,
- 9:28Speaker 2: you've left the category of a normal citizen. You're now
- 9:31Speaker 2: a criminal evading arrest. So President Trump was asked about
- 9:36Speaker 2: the video. He said it was very upsetting to him.
- 9:38Speaker 2: He said, it's hard to watch. It is a terrible, terrible,
- 9:41Speaker 2: tragic video, very tough to watch, and it's just going
- 9:46Speaker 2: to get worse and worse and worse. And again, if
- 9:48Speaker 2: you go to my Twitter, you can see the video
- 9:50Speaker 2: from the front. This is the one they don't show you.
- 9:53Speaker 2: It's taken from in front of the car. You can
- 9:54Speaker 2: see the car hit the officer and knock him to
- 9:57Speaker 2: the side. Also, remember when you're watching these videos and
- 10:02Speaker 2: it looks like, let's say you believe the first one
- 10:05Speaker 2: was justified. First shot, the car hits him, first shot
- 10:08Speaker 2: is through the front windshield. The obviously he's in front
- 10:10Speaker 2: of the car. She's trying to hit him. If you're
- 10:12Speaker 2: saying to yourself, okay, well, I could see that, But
- 10:15Speaker 2: then why did he keep firing into the side of
- 10:18Speaker 2: the car. Why the second third? Well, remember you're watching
- 10:22Speaker 2: the video slowed down. The video is very, very very
- 10:27Speaker 2: slowed down, so it's like twelve seconds. In twelve seconds,
- 10:32Speaker 2: a lot of time to think. But in real life,
- 10:34Speaker 2: if you watch the video full speed, it's like a
- 10:37Speaker 2: tenth of a second. There's no time to think after
- 10:39Speaker 2: the first shot. And again, the way it works in
- 10:42Speaker 2: police departments, you're not supposed to shoot to wound or
- 10:46Speaker 2: just try to hit him in the arm. Once you're shooting,
- 10:48Speaker 2: you're shooting right at them. And once you start pulling
- 10:51Speaker 2: the trigger, you might pull it a few times. So
- 10:55Speaker 2: then you got all the left wing people jumping in
- 10:58Speaker 2: on this. Here's mom Donnie, who well, of course can't
- 11:00Speaker 2: shut up about it all day.
- 11:01Speaker 5: This is one part of what has been a year
- 11:07Speaker 5: full of cruelty. And we know that when ICE agents
- 11:10Speaker 5: attack immigrants, they attack every single one of us across
- 11:13Speaker 5: this country.
- 11:13Speaker 2: No, here's the problem. It has never been an ICE
- 11:16Speaker 2: agent attacking an immigrant. They're not going after immigrants, they're
- 11:20Speaker 2: going after illegals, illegals who snuck into the country though,
- 11:24Speaker 2: and this is so insulting to immigrants that the left wing,
- 11:28Speaker 2: the mom donnis these are the backbone of America, immigrants
- 11:32Speaker 2: who've come here and are working to lump them in
- 11:34Speaker 2: with illegals. It's so cruel of Mamdanni.
- 11:37Speaker 5: And this is a city and will always be a
- 11:39Speaker 5: city that stands up for immigrants across the Five.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Boroughs, absolutely, but not illegals. Immigrants not illegals. That's the
- 11:47Speaker 2: problem with the Democrats. It's all a blur. They can't
- 11:51Speaker 2: they just can't see it.
- 11:52Speaker 5: So I can't speak to what the President will do.
- 11:54Speaker 5: I can tell you, however, what I've also said to
- 11:56Speaker 5: him directly, which is that I believe that these raids
- 12:00Speaker 5: are cruel and inhumane and they do nothing to actually
- 12:02Speaker 5: serve the interests of public safety.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Well, I don't know about that. If you look at
- 12:06Speaker 2: who they've arrested, ninety nine percent of them are actual
- 12:10Speaker 2: criminals committing crimes on the street. Many of them are vicious,
- 12:14Speaker 2: violent gang members. So taking them off the street is
- 12:17Speaker 2: a good thing and does serve the interest of it.
- 12:19Speaker 2: And of course he's a crazy left wing Democrat, so
- 12:22Speaker 2: they don't understand why taking criminals off the street is
- 12:25Speaker 2: a good thing.
- 12:26Speaker 5: And what New Yorkers want to see is a city
- 12:30Speaker 5: that they are safe in, a city that they can
- 12:32Speaker 5: also feel comfortable leaving their home in.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, let me think, how would you create a
- 12:40Speaker 2: city that people feel safe in and people would feel
- 12:45Speaker 2: comfortable leaving their home in. Well, I would think step
- 12:48Speaker 2: number one, get the criminals off the street. Arrest all
- 12:52Speaker 2: the criminals and take them off the street. Why would
- 12:55Speaker 2: you not feel safe in your own city. Why would
- 12:58Speaker 2: you not feel safe leaving your home? Well, because you
- 13:00Speaker 2: think there might be a criminal out there. That guy
- 13:03Speaker 2: over there, it might be a criminal. This guy might
- 13:05Speaker 2: be a criminal. You're worried about criminals. Arrest them, lock
- 13:08Speaker 2: them up. It goes back to Andrew Cuomo with us
- 13:11Speaker 2: let them all run loose, close the prisons. Remember he
- 13:13Speaker 2: bragged about closing prisons, letting them all out, no bail,
- 13:17Speaker 2: no jail, let them just let them out, let him out.
- 13:20Speaker 2: That's when you don't feel safe.
- 13:22Speaker 5: I have made it clear to everyone within my city
- 13:26Speaker 5: government and that extends to NYPD, that we are going
- 13:29Speaker 5: to uphold our sanctuary city policies. We are going to adhere.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Now, what does that mean sanctuary city? What is the
- 13:35Speaker 2: actual definition of sanctuary city. It means if you're an
- 13:38Speaker 2: illegal criminal who snuck in, their attitude is let them go.
- 13:44Speaker 2: I don't bother the guy that's a sanctuary city to them.
- 13:47Speaker 5: That is why one of the eleven executive orders that
- 13:50Speaker 5: we signed was to repeal the previous administration's order to
- 13:54Speaker 5: allow for collaboration with ICE on Riker's Island.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Now you've got illegal gang members who are in Rykers Island.
- 14:03Speaker 2: ICE is the official organization that's supposed to do something
- 14:05Speaker 2: about that. You don't want to cooperate with them. Again,
- 14:09Speaker 2: this is left wing crazy, left wing socialists. This is
- 14:14Speaker 2: a Cuomo kind of no bail, no jail, closed the prison.
- 14:17Speaker 2: This is just nuts. It's the reason Democrats are now
- 14:21Speaker 2: at the lowest approval rating in history. Even hey, also
- 14:25Speaker 2: on my Twitter, take alarly this clip from CNN the
- 14:27Speaker 2: other day where they put up the poll numbers. Even
- 14:30Speaker 2: on CNN, they had to show that Democrats are at
- 14:33Speaker 2: the lowest approval rating they've ever been in in their lives.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Now why because you know, as crazy as you think
- 14:40Speaker 2: Trump is with his the way he talks, the way
- 14:43Speaker 2: things he does, He's why does he do this? Why
- 14:44Speaker 2: does he have to do that he's not presidential, he's
- 14:47Speaker 2: acting crazy. Well, for all of that, as Stephen A.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Smith pointed out, he's still to most people, he looks
- 14:54Speaker 2: a lot more normal than Democrats. What he's doing with
- 14:57Speaker 2: all his craziness is much much, much more normal than Democrats,
- 15:02Speaker 2: who think it's okay to illegal aliens, gang members roam
- 15:06Speaker 2: the streets, and they think it's okay for even if
- 15:10Speaker 2: you're just a mother and a housewife or whatever you are,
- 15:13Speaker 2: to get in your suv and driving it right into
- 15:15Speaker 2: the ice operation and try to block them, then try
- 15:17Speaker 2: to drive your car at him, and then try to
- 15:20Speaker 2: evade arrest and speed away. It's not okay. It never was,
- 15:25Speaker 2: it never will be. So we'll get back to Minnesota.
- 15:27Speaker 2: We'll talk about it throughout the morning. Hey, Nick Reiner
- 15:34Speaker 2: lost his lawyer. It's a top, top, top criminal attorney
- 15:37Speaker 2: in Los Angeles, handle a lot of big cases. He quit.
- 15:41Speaker 2: He's dropped out. Alan Jackson said he had no choice
- 15:44Speaker 2: but to quit the case. When asked why, he said
- 15:48Speaker 2: he's legally prohibited from publicly explaining why. So, whatever the
- 15:52Speaker 2: reason is, there's still that attorney client privilege. Whatever craziness
- 15:57Speaker 2: is there, he can't say it. He did say, Nick
- 16:00Speaker 2: Reiner's not guilty of murder. I think what he means
- 16:04Speaker 2: there obviously is. But I think what he means there
- 16:06Speaker 2: is that it was drug induced from all the psychotropic
- 16:09Speaker 2: drugs he's on, or that he was mentally ill or deranged,
- 16:13Speaker 2: or that it's not actual murder. Reiner was in court,
- 16:16Speaker 2: Nick Reiner, the crazy kid, and he was smirking and
- 16:20Speaker 2: smiling at the judge. He needs a new lawyer, so
- 16:24Speaker 2: he needs time. Next court date February twenty third, So
- 16:28Speaker 2: it's like a month and a half before you'll see
- 16:30Speaker 2: this guy again. And we've got lots to get to
- 16:32Speaker 2: this morning. He will take some calls next. Eight hundred
- 16:35Speaker 2: three to two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten, did
- 16:42Speaker 2: Mark on Demand by setting a preset for his podcast
- 16:46Speaker 2: on the iHeartRadio app. Now back to Mark Simone on
- 16:50Speaker 2: wor Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Rich
- 16:54Speaker 2: in Myrtle Beach. Rich How you doing.
- 16:57Speaker 6: Hey, Thanks, Mark, good to talk to you again. You
- 16:59Speaker 6: know this thing Minnesota was gonna happen. The Dems wanted
- 17:02Speaker 6: this to happen. They've been calling for this kind of
- 17:04Speaker 6: action for a year and a half now, and he
- 17:07Speaker 6: knew what was going to happen. And all these people,
- 17:09Speaker 6: these politicians jumped in front of a microphone before they
- 17:12Speaker 6: had any facts. And now they're going to write and
- 17:15Speaker 6: burn down Minneapolis, just like they did after Floyd or
- 17:19Speaker 6: whatever his name was. It's just discussing. The press just
- 17:22Speaker 6: sits by and does absolutely nothing about it.
- 17:24Speaker 7: Can help.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Actually, they do a lot. They go crazy trying to
- 17:27Speaker 2: rile everybody. You're right in the offices of CNN and
- 17:31Speaker 2: MS now in the New York Times, when this video
- 17:34Speaker 2: came in, they actually said to themselves, great, this is great.
- 17:38Speaker 2: We can use this. We can use this for months. Now,
- 17:41Speaker 2: let's go to Mara in Nevada. Mara, how you doing Mark?
- 17:45Speaker 8: This is starting my forty sixth year of having you
- 17:50Speaker 8: in my life.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 17:53Speaker 8: And you know what, the best thing was six months
- 17:55Speaker 8: ago I met you and rugged you was a few
- 17:59Speaker 8: months ago into my life.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Yes, Mara and Vincent came to New York. They went
- 18:04Speaker 2: to the legendary Patsy's restaurant.
- 18:07Speaker 8: Yes, and he's been in my life. We took at
- 18:09Speaker 8: least every week.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Wow, that's great. And if you go to my Instagram,
- 18:13Speaker 2: you can see a picture of Vincent and Mara at Patsy's.
- 18:16Speaker 2: You gotta scroll.
- 18:17Speaker 8: Back like a great day, Mark Darling, you put a
- 18:20Speaker 8: smile on my face. I'm very very old. So let's
- 18:24Speaker 8: see how long you could be doing it.
- 18:26Speaker 2: A spring chicken, as they used to say.
- 18:30Speaker 8: Okay, I need.
- 18:31Speaker 2: All right, Mara, thanks for calling. Let's go to Tony
- 18:33Speaker 2: and White Plains.
- 18:34Speaker 9: Tony, how you doing, yeah, Mark, Mark, Those hypocris over
- 18:38Speaker 9: there in the other station, ABC.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Oh, don't pick on them, they're all nice people.
- 18:43Speaker 9: Yeah, Well, they's a reason why they got Zoron, because
- 18:47Speaker 9: especially talatso over there, Dominic.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Carter, I don't pick friends of mine, don't pick.
- 18:52Speaker 10: On them, I know. But he started from day one.
- 18:54Speaker 10: Kurts came when you know, you know why he kept
- 18:56Speaker 10: saying that, because he was afraid if Curtis did win.
- 18:59Speaker 2: No, no, no, you know why they kept saying that.
- 19:01Speaker 2: They convinced themselves of that. You know, you can't get
- 19:03Speaker 2: mad at somebody for their.
- 19:05Speaker 9: Dat.
- 19:07Speaker 10: They had a reason why he got zor On, and
- 19:08Speaker 10: they're saying that, Well, if you got.
- 19:11Speaker 2: To blame somebody for Zorn, you gotta blame Andrew Cuomo
- 19:13Speaker 2: This is all his fault. He came along and it
- 19:17Speaker 2: didn't just start with the election season. He started about
- 19:21Speaker 2: two years ago, working on the whole crowd there, the
- 19:23Speaker 2: whole Upper East Side, the Hampton's Palm Beach. He was
- 19:27Speaker 2: whining and dining all these donors, these big they're nice people,
- 19:32Speaker 2: the big donors, but they're the dumbest people in the
- 19:33Speaker 2: world when it comes to politics. They always backed the
- 19:35Speaker 2: wrong but he convinced them that only he can win.
- 19:39Speaker 2: I don't know how the hell he convinced. It's pretty
- 19:42Speaker 2: It's a fascinating thing to study. Here's the guy who
- 19:45Speaker 2: just got run out of office with the police chasing him.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Here's the guy who left and resigned in disgrace. Two
- 19:52Speaker 2: years later, he's convincing them he could be elected. That's
- 19:55Speaker 2: like Nixon two years after Watergate, thinking he can run again.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Give Elliott Spitzers credit. At least he's a classy guy
- 20:01Speaker 2: about it. He got run out of office with the
- 20:04Speaker 2: criminal kind of things hanging around over his head. He
- 20:08Speaker 2: knows he can't run again, but Cuomo convinced that he
- 20:10Speaker 2: could run again. He completely screwed up the Democratic primary
- 20:14Speaker 2: by scaring Eric Adams out of it. Had he not
- 20:19Speaker 2: had been no Cuomo, Eric Adams would have run for reelection,
- 20:22Speaker 2: would have been in the primary, probably could have won
- 20:24Speaker 2: the Democratic primary. He can out Cuomo's the world's worst debater.
- 20:28Speaker 2: He got beaten to a pulp by Mamdani in two debates.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Adams would have done better. He's not the most articulate
- 20:35Speaker 2: guy in the world, but he can be charming in
- 20:37Speaker 2: those debates. He probably would have got the nomination and
- 20:40Speaker 2: that would have been the end of it. Let's go
- 20:42Speaker 2: to Bob in Montville, New Jersey. Bob, how you doing good?
- 20:46Speaker 11: Mard Thanks a lot, But I don't want to like
- 20:48Speaker 11: keep loading up on the Somalians. But you know, in
- 20:51Speaker 11: Maine there is a very similar problem, but probably worse.
- 20:56Speaker 11: You know, a few years ago there was that mass
- 20:58Speaker 11: shooting there, people murdered. Yeah, all the money that was
- 21:03Speaker 11: collected gofund me was directed to Somalian NGOs there.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, it's bad everywhere. Effect people think California
- 21:11Speaker 2: may set the all time record for this kind of fraud.
- 21:14Speaker 2: They haven't started to look into it yet, and they
- 21:15Speaker 2: think Illinois got a huge, huge number. When it comes
- 21:19Speaker 2: to this kind of fraud, it's all over the place,
- 21:22Speaker 2: and the Somalians in the fraud schemes of Minnesota are
- 21:25Speaker 2: so thrilled about this shooting yesterday because it gets them
- 21:29Speaker 2: off the front page for a while. Let's go to Grace,
- 21:32Speaker 2: Rockland County. Grace. How you doing?
- 21:34Speaker 12: Hi? I'm also at a town to.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Tell you you that's so loud that people sleep in
- 21:40Speaker 2: here hold of town.
- 21:41Speaker 12: Oh okay, I project I was a New York City
- 21:43Speaker 12: school teacher.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Listen, that's a South school teacher talks. You walk in
- 21:47Speaker 2: and say welcome to class.
- 21:50Speaker 12: Yes, you got to get wake them up. Let me
- 21:52Speaker 12: tell you because they have still not Okay, what I
- 21:55Speaker 12: want to say?
- 21:56Speaker 2: Are you sure you were a school teacher?
- 21:58Speaker 12: Of course? I was a Winter Hunt. I graduated with Honest.
- 22:02Speaker 12: Come on, because I sound like a homie doesn't mean
- 22:07Speaker 12: I'm not refine and ed.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Oh you're very fine. In fact, I can't believe you
- 22:11Speaker 2: went the Hunter. I was thinking Oxford, Cambridge or something.
- 22:13Speaker 12: No, no, no, no. I was a child of an immigrant.
- 22:16Speaker 12: I went to Hunter. Okay, what I'm calling about is this.
- 22:20Speaker 12: I feel sorry the woman got killed, but she and
- 22:23Speaker 12: her partner should have worried about not putting themselves in danger.
- 22:28Speaker 5: No, actually one of them.
- 22:30Speaker 2: She's married to a woman, and the woman, the partner said,
- 22:33Speaker 2: this is all my fault. I shouldn't have brought her
- 22:35Speaker 2: into this situation. I shouldn't have brought her to this protest. Right.
- 22:38Speaker 12: I'm glad you said that, But the thing is, as
- 22:41Speaker 12: a mother, you do not put yourself in that kind
- 22:45Speaker 12: of danger. I feel very sorry, but unfortunately you report yoursel.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Now, Grace, where do you live in Rockland County?
- 22:54Speaker 12: Oh, I'm in I'm in Clarkstown.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Now, Clarkstown's a beautiful small town. When you talk like
- 22:59Speaker 2: that in town? Can they tell you from New York? Yes?
- 23:03Speaker 2: I don't see. What's the regular Sherlock Holmes that they
- 23:05Speaker 2: figured it out.
- 23:06Speaker 12: I don't really care what anybody says you.
- 23:09Speaker 2: You're very charming.
- 23:12Speaker 12: I want to say something my accent when you were
- 23:16Speaker 12: when you were up the line, you gave me one
- 23:18Speaker 12: hundred and fifty dollars because I had the most I
- 23:22Speaker 12: don't know, offensive accent or whatever.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Coll Who did that? Who did that? I did?
- 23:28Speaker 8: Yes?
- 23:29Speaker 12: I got three gift cards from me. Yeah, from the station.
- 23:34Speaker 2: You want to contest for the worst accent?
- 23:36Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 23:37Speaker 2: Oh well you're a nice woman. Grace, call again. Don't
- 23:41Speaker 2: don't thank you.
- 23:42Speaker 12: And you're very good and I think you're great.
- 23:46Speaker 2: You're great too, don't keep calling us. Thanks for calling. Hey.
- 23:49Speaker 2: When we come back, we're hoping to talk to Steve Moore.
- 23:52Speaker 2: We'll see coming up next on seven to ten w
- 23:56Speaker 2: r R s Mark Simone. Joe continues, Now, well, Steve,
- 24:04Speaker 2: brilliant economist Steve Moore. Of course you see them all
- 24:06Speaker 2: over television. Read his columns. Is one coming in the
- 24:09Speaker 2: Wall Street Journal, and make sure you get his book
- 24:11Speaker 2: is brilliant book, The Trump Economic Miracle. If you really
- 24:15Speaker 2: want to understand this, better get Steve Moore's book. Also,
- 24:18Speaker 2: make sure you subscribe to the Daily Briefing the hotline.
- 24:21Speaker 2: It's the best one there is. It's free. It'll come
- 24:23Speaker 2: write your email. Just go to Unleash prosperity dot com.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Unleash Prosperity dot com. Steve Moore, how you.
- 24:31Speaker 7: Doing well, Mark, I'm doing great. Twenty twenty six is
- 24:35Speaker 7: off to a rip roar and start. We've seen amazing
- 24:39Speaker 7: gains in the stock market. We've seen, you know, an
- 24:42Speaker 7: incredible military operation that will go down in the annals
- 24:45Speaker 7: of history. Is one of the most flawless operations ever
- 24:49Speaker 7: We liberated thirty million people in Venezuela, a very humanitarian mission.
- 24:55Speaker 7: And look, I think in places coming down, jobs are
- 24:58Speaker 7: going up, peas going up. It's going to be a
- 25:01Speaker 7: blockbuster year.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, Venezuela is fascinating. There's no better example
- 25:06Speaker 2: of the uselessness of socialism. He decides to go socialist.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Everybody's starving to death. It's horrible. They're sitting on three
- 25:14Speaker 2: hundred billion barrels of oil there seventeen seas. Why was
- 25:18Speaker 2: he in these drug things? Why didn't he just become
- 25:20Speaker 2: an oil baron?
- 25:23Speaker 7: You know, we had something in how you mentioned our
- 25:25Speaker 7: hotline thank you and by the way, that's free. Folks
- 25:27Speaker 7: just go to on least past thirty to kind of
- 25:29Speaker 7: get that for free. But on Monday we had an
- 25:31Speaker 7: item that got a lot of attention, which we just
- 25:34Speaker 7: we just walked people through with charts. What had happened
- 25:37Speaker 7: to Venezuela since they went communists back in around two
- 25:40Speaker 7: thousand and This was a country, It was barely middle
- 25:43Speaker 7: class country. They had, as you said, they have trillion
- 25:46Speaker 7: dollars of oil resources. First of all, they've cut their
- 25:50Speaker 7: oil production by two thirds. The one thing that they
- 25:52Speaker 7: were getting money from They couldn't even run the oil wells,
- 25:56Speaker 7: and so you had the poverty rate in Venezuela is
- 26:03Speaker 7: seventy five to eighty percent. What seventy five to eighty
- 26:06Speaker 7: percent of people in Venezuela living in public This is
- 26:09Speaker 7: a country, by the way, that has as much oil
- 26:11Speaker 7: as Saudi Arabia. I don't see a lot of poverty
- 26:14Speaker 7: in Saudi Arabia, do you. Everybody's rich in Saudi Arabia.
- 26:17Speaker 6: And so the.
- 26:20Speaker 7: Eight million people have left, they lost a quarter of
- 26:23Speaker 7: their citizens. You've seen inflation, you know, it's so funny, Mark,
- 26:29Speaker 7: you know, we I don't know funny is the right word,
- 26:31Speaker 7: but you know in the US will have three or
- 26:33Speaker 7: four percent in place. Oh my god, plays out of control.
- 26:36Speaker 7: You know what inflationary? Wasn't that is the way that
- 26:39Speaker 7: five hundred percent? What five hundred percent inflation? So people
- 26:43Speaker 7: stopped using the currency. You know, the only thing they
- 26:45Speaker 7: could trade in was dollars, So they destroyed their currency.
- 26:48Speaker 7: They put everybody in poverty. Their their homicide ran rate
- 26:52Speaker 7: went up by about one thousand percent. It's one of
- 26:54Speaker 7: the most unsafe. It was, at least until our troops
- 26:58Speaker 7: came in One of the most unsafe. Caracas was one
- 27:00Speaker 7: of the most unsafe cities in the world. On and
- 27:03Speaker 7: on and on. They destroyed it. And now, you know,
- 27:06Speaker 7: let's keep our fingers crossed and pray that they can
- 27:08Speaker 7: get those oils bickets going again. And they should be
- 27:11Speaker 7: a rich country and if they do it right, they will.
- 27:13Speaker 7: But it requires what Milton Friedman told us is, you know,
- 27:17Speaker 7: free markets are the way to go. And Vince Nellie Poland,
- 27:21Speaker 7: you may have seen Poland. We had some story on
- 27:23Speaker 7: this Poland when exactly, you know, when they became free
- 27:27Speaker 7: and the Berlin Wall came down. They've had one of
- 27:29Speaker 7: the fastest growing economies over the last thirty years.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I think you pointed out they Polish economy is
- 27:35Speaker 2: now as big as Japan's economy.
- 27:38Speaker 7: Incredible. I mean, it's just unbelievable what's happened there because
- 27:41Speaker 7: of their free So this is not complicated. You know,
- 27:44Speaker 7: a boy, New York could use some free market capitalism.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Yeah, good luck.
- 27:50Speaker 7: But I mean the latest I'm reading, Mark is that
- 27:52Speaker 7: they're talking about like putting so many restrictions on rental
- 27:56Speaker 7: properties in New York City. Nobody he's going to build
- 28:00Speaker 7: another apartment building for twenty years there.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Yeah, now he points this housing director. She took down
- 28:06Speaker 2: her whole twitter attack. It's crazy, she took it down.
- 28:08Speaker 7: Oh my god.
- 28:09Speaker 2: She had tweeted home ownership as white supremacy.
- 28:12Speaker 7: So yeah, well, you know what, You're not gonna have
- 28:16Speaker 7: any homeownership in New York because there's not going to
- 28:19Speaker 7: be any homes to buy. I mean, who would buy
- 28:21Speaker 7: under these kind of conditions? Who would build a new
- 28:24Speaker 7: apartment building in New York? Now?
- 28:27Speaker 2: You know, but you watch this Mondonnie talk. He seems
- 28:29Speaker 2: like a very smart young guy. Very smart. Why is
- 28:32Speaker 2: he so? Why did they get so crazy with this socialism?
- 28:35Speaker 2: Why do they become irrational over it?
- 28:39Speaker 7: You know, it's a real indictment of our education system
- 28:41Speaker 7: because Mundonnie is well educated, he's well spoken, he's not
- 28:45Speaker 7: a dummy. He just has really really crazy ideas. And
- 28:49Speaker 7: you ask the question, where did they come from? I
- 28:51Speaker 7: think they came from the you know, the faculty lounges
- 28:54Speaker 7: at these crazy universities.
- 28:56Speaker 2: I do. Yeah. I don't think he can use the
- 28:58Speaker 2: phrase well educated anymore, because if you go to these
- 29:00Speaker 2: places you're not well educated. You come out Yeah exactly.
- 29:04Speaker 7: Yeah, he's he has let me say he's got a
- 29:06Speaker 7: lot of years of education, but I don't think he
- 29:09Speaker 7: has any you know, common sense. And I think we
- 29:12Speaker 7: have to do a real soul search as a country
- 29:15Speaker 7: about what are what are universities and schools teaching kids?
- 29:18Speaker 7: Because by the way that you know, the people who
- 29:20Speaker 7: were most enamored by Mandami were the young people in
- 29:24Speaker 7: New York.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Wow. But you point out in the hotline this week,
- 29:30Speaker 2: you look at cities like Dallas or Miami, they're just booming.
- 29:33Speaker 2: They're attracting business like that crazy. Why can't everybody see that?
- 29:38Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean in the Dallas mayor. By the way,
- 29:40Speaker 7: they've a new mayor. He's African American. He's an African
- 29:43Speaker 7: American Republican, and he's basically saying, hey, you know Wall Street,
- 29:49Speaker 7: you know, if you're fed up with the high taxes
- 29:51Speaker 7: and high regulations, we're open for business here. We now
- 29:54Speaker 7: have a Texas Stock Exchange. Why not come here. Dallas
- 29:58Speaker 7: is out of one hundred thousand tinnancial service jobs in
- 30:01Speaker 7: just the last ten years. So they are building Wall
- 30:05Speaker 7: Street South and New York better, you know, stop taxing
- 30:10Speaker 7: the people who create the wealth in that city, or
- 30:12Speaker 7: they're going to be gone.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Yeah, Hey, are you going to take the big bull
- 30:17Speaker 2: you know in front of Wall Street and Ukraine and
- 30:20Speaker 2: and you know, transport that to Dallas.
- 30:22Speaker 7: I mean, look, I say this facetiously, but as you know,
- 30:25Speaker 7: I worked for ten years at the Wall Street Journal.
- 30:27Speaker 7: I love New York City. New York City is the
- 30:28Speaker 7: most important city in the world, arguably, and we cannot
- 30:32Speaker 7: allow it to to go.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, the other thing goes on with these socialists.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Money disappears like crazy Somalia fraud. And what about this
- 30:41Speaker 2: green green scheme, this climate green scheme that took billions
- 30:46Speaker 2: and zillions, and will we ever get it back? And
- 30:48Speaker 2: we ever have clought back?
- 30:51Speaker 7: Are you talking about the thing in Washington State?
- 30:53Speaker 2: Yeah? All of it?
- 30:54Speaker 7: Yeah, which went? I mean the whole thing. I mean,
- 30:59Speaker 7: we've spent hundreds of billions of dollars on climate change
- 31:03Speaker 7: and none of it has changed the temperature by one
- 31:07Speaker 7: hundredth of a degree, So it has had no impact whatsoever.
- 31:11Speaker 7: But people are getting really, really rich off of this,
- 31:14Speaker 7: and so fortunately Trump is really starting to defund a
- 31:18Speaker 7: lot of the cheap programs because they don't work. And finally,
- 31:22Speaker 7: the American people are onto this scam. So the best
- 31:25Speaker 7: way to by the way, the more you know, we
- 31:27Speaker 7: can produce natural gas, which is Venezuela has a lot
- 31:31Speaker 7: of that, Oklahoma has a lot of Texas, natural gas
- 31:34Speaker 7: is the best way to reduce carbon emissions. So rise
- 31:38Speaker 7: the left against natural gas production.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Yeah. Also, you know, look at the New York City.
- 31:43Speaker 2: You know the charge you an extra couple bucks for
- 31:45Speaker 2: congestion pricing. We're sitting on a ton of natural gas,
- 31:48Speaker 2: aren't we here in New York State? That would pay
- 31:50Speaker 2: for everything.
- 31:50Speaker 7: Oh yeah, you know, New York should be one of
- 31:54Speaker 7: the major oil and gas producers in the world. You're
- 31:58Speaker 7: right there on the shale formation. And you know, I've
- 32:00Speaker 7: said this many times. In Pennsylvania, they you know, go
- 32:04Speaker 7: down and they go horizontally underneath New York and suck
- 32:06Speaker 7: out your oil so they get the money. You don't.
- 32:09Speaker 7: That's pretty stupid for New York to outlaw. You know.
- 32:13Speaker 7: That'd be like Texas saying we're not going to drow
- 32:15Speaker 7: for oil anymore. See, that would be a smart policy.
- 32:18Speaker 2: It's like Maduro, let's not bother with that oil underneath us.
- 32:21Speaker 2: So yeah, we'll speak more great stuff. Now, the Committee
- 32:25Speaker 2: to Unleashed Prosperity, which you put together. It's a great
- 32:29Speaker 2: organization and every morning the best briefing analysis. I don't

- 32:40Speaker 7: Yeah, it's fun. And in bed way you mentioned I
- 32:43Speaker 7: thought you were talking about I had them today that
- 32:45Speaker 7: they had a program in Washington State that was supposed
- 32:48Speaker 7: to reduce by eight million tons of carbon emissions and
- 32:55Speaker 7: it turned out to only eighty thousand, so they were
- 32:58Speaker 7: off by.
- 33:01Speaker 2: Well that's this daily briefing has the best analysis of
- 33:04Speaker 2: the stories you know, and it has all these stories

- 33:15Speaker 7: Well we're doing something on this. How about this idea
- 33:18Speaker 7: index capital gains taxes for inflation, so you pay only
- 33:21Speaker 7: the tax on you know, you're after inflation gain. And
- 33:24Speaker 7: we think that will spurl out of new housing coming
- 33:27Speaker 7: on the market. And so keep stay tuned for that.
- 33:30Speaker 2: I like it, and get Steve Moore's book, The Trump
- 33:32Speaker 2: Economic Miracle. It's excellent Steve Moore a miracle. You're gonna

- 35:30Speaker 2: on everything. She's on every show everywhere. What was the
- 35:33Speaker 2: other one the other night, an exclusive interview with Gavin Newsom. Yeah,
