A tourist at the Grand Canyon allegedly caused major damage by knocking over a rare Fred Kabotie Hopi headpiece while attempting a photo op at the Desert View Watchtower. The incident, which occurred between 11 AM and 4 PM on June 17th, involved the man climbing unstable furniture, losing balance, and striking the artifact. Park staff provided first aid before he and a woman—possibly his daughter—left the scene.
