Latest / Relatables / EP 41 - HELP!! HE'S SO F*CKING HOT!!!
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on Relatables.
- 0:01Speaker 2: One time I got home and I was taking a
- 0:03Speaker 2: shit after work.
- 0:04Speaker 1: I got home, I was like, yeah, I gotta take
- 0:05Speaker 1: a shit. And if I was there alone, I would
- 0:07Speaker 1: never close that curtain, right? I fully had a girlfriend
- 0:09Speaker 1: at the time and I must have taken shits while
- 0:11Speaker 1: she was there. But anyway, curtains open and my dad,
- 0:15Speaker 1: he for some reason decides he's not going to knock
- 0:17Speaker 1: on my door. He just comes in, opens the door
- 0:19Speaker 1: and he goes, oh. And then he had something to
- 0:20Speaker 1: tell me and he goes, oh.
- 0:22Speaker 2: And I was like, oh shit. And he goes, oh.
- 0:24Speaker 2: I just wanted to tell you where to put the
- 0:25Speaker 2: dog down today.
- 0:26Speaker 1: I was like, okay. He goes, yeah, his name is Angus.
- 0:32Speaker 1: He goes, just wanted to let you know where to
- 0:33Speaker 1: put Angus down today. And I went, sweet man, I
- 0:37Speaker 1: could have waited.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Jake and Artie, the Relatable Party.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Relatable. Artie, I've been thinking of a bit of a
- 0:51Speaker 1: passion project lately.
- 0:53Speaker 3: I will brush past the joke about you've been thinking,
- 0:56Speaker 3: what is it?
- 0:58Speaker 1: Yeah, you're lucky that you brush past that because of
- 1:00Speaker 1: what this is. So we, in the history of the podcast,
- 1:06Speaker 1: more so recently, have touched on things like Vines Cane's women, patriarchy.
- 1:12Speaker 1: It's something that we've become more and more interested in
- 1:15Speaker 1: and care about.
- 1:17Speaker 2: And then our chat.
- 1:18Speaker 1: With Luke Bateman, he's very knowledgeable on this, right? I've
- 1:22Speaker 1: been thinking lately, one of the things we need to
- 1:27Speaker 1: do is change the way young.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Men are raised.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Agreed. Obviously all current men need some fixing. We need
- 1:35Speaker 1: to change the way young men are raised. And what
- 1:38Speaker 1: I've been thinking is there's nothing better. Surely there would
- 1:42Speaker 1: be nothing better than having some young adult men doing
- 1:47Speaker 1: tours of schools and talking to young men. Cause I
- 1:52Speaker 1: was thinking about it and our good friend, Luke Bateman,
- 1:56Speaker 1: he posted a video recently about this, about how we
- 1:59Speaker 1: need to change the way that we raise boys. And
- 2:02Speaker 1: I messaged him and I said, like, have you ever
- 2:05Speaker 1: been asked to go talk at schools? And he says, honestly,
- 2:08Speaker 1: I do get.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Asked a lot.
- 2:10Speaker 1: And I said, because if someone like you came to
- 2:13Speaker 1: my school, right. I was like, admittedly, I was like
- 2:17Speaker 1: a product of my environment and probably have some deep
- 2:22Speaker 1: rooted misogyny and was like, had moments of disrespect and stuff.
- 2:27Speaker 1: And I was just thinking like, if someone like Luke
- 2:29Speaker 1: came to our school, him talking about all these things
- 2:34Speaker 1: and not saying like, you know, you're just like a
- 2:37Speaker 1: fucked up human for this, but just explaining things the
- 2:39Speaker 1: way he explains it. He's so articulate in it. I
- 2:42Speaker 1: think that really would have changed the way I thought
- 2:46Speaker 1: from a younger age than when I did change my thinking.
- 2:49Speaker 3: No, I completely agree. And also, it's unfortunate that this
- 2:53Speaker 3: is like this, but his background being an ex-NRL player.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Would be perfect for schools.
- 2:59Speaker 1: I know.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Because kids love footy players. Like, ex-NRL player Luke Bateman's
- 3:04Speaker 3: coming to talk about men's mental health and just everything
- 3:07Speaker 3: in between. All these things.
- 3:08Speaker 1: And I just said to him, like, and he said, like,
- 3:10Speaker 1: thank you so much. I really appreciate that. He says, like,
- 3:13Speaker 1: you know, I just try and, he goes, I think
- 3:14Speaker 1: about younger me and what he needed. And I try
- 3:18Speaker 1: to be that. And I was thinking something I would
- 3:20Speaker 1: like to do is to get myself really educated in
- 3:24Speaker 1: the subject and potentially think about going and doing these
- 3:30Speaker 1: things at schools where it's like you don't do it
- 3:32Speaker 1: for money. You're doing it because you want to better
- 3:34Speaker 1: the world. You do it purely based on values. And
- 3:38Speaker 1: I was wondering if the baddies maybe had any ideas
- 3:43Speaker 1: or if you think the relatables... This could be something
- 3:47Speaker 1: that the Relatables offers to go to primary schools or
- 3:50Speaker 1: high schools.
- 3:51Speaker 3: I think high schools.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I think you could start from any moment, though, if
- 3:55Speaker 1: you really think about it.
- 3:56Speaker 3: It's almost too complex for primary schools. Not against it,
- 4:00Speaker 3: but you'd have to ask teachers in the curriculum. But
- 4:02Speaker 3: I think high schools is the perfect place. I think
- 4:04Speaker 3: high schools for sure. 7, 8, 9, perfect place to start.
- 4:06Speaker 1: 100%. And it's like, would you go and would you
- 4:08Speaker 1: just talk to the boys? Or do you also just
- 4:11Speaker 1: have the whole school there?
- 4:13Speaker 2: Good point. From like seven to 12, like just have
- 4:15Speaker 2: them all there.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Impressionable too. And all of them want to be like
- 4:18Speaker 3: influencers and everything like that.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Why not? Why not?
- 4:21Speaker 3: It's the perfect reason too. I know.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I just, it's something that I would like to.
- 4:24Speaker 3: If you're passionate about it too, like it's coming from
- 4:27Speaker 3: all the right places.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I would do it.
- 4:28Speaker 3: I definitely need to.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I think we would need to be educated in it.
- 4:31Speaker 3: My knowledge on said area. I'd say we know a lot,
- 4:34Speaker 3: but also I'm not as articulate as I think I
- 4:37Speaker 3: should be. Same. No, same. We come from a place
- 4:39Speaker 3: of wanting to learn, not a place of, Stats or facts.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Like we couldn't be asked a question and then be
- 4:46Speaker 2: like this, this, this, this, this, this.
- 4:47Speaker 1: No.
- 4:48Speaker 2: We can just be like, we know that that's objectively wrong.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Yes.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Because any normal human would think that. And so it's
- 4:56Speaker 1: just something randomly in the last like maybe three weeks.
- 4:58Speaker 2: I've been very, very interested and I've been thinking about it.
- 5:01Speaker 1: And it would be something that would probably be very
- 5:04Speaker 1: fulfilling and you would really probably feel like you're making
- 5:06Speaker 1: a difference. Because we always say, what can we do
- 5:08Speaker 1: to make a difference?
- 5:09Speaker 3: Follow your heart, my friend.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 5:12Speaker 3: The Relatables podcast is hosted by myself, Odi Clark, a.k.a.
- 5:15Speaker 1: My man.
- 5:16Speaker 3: And my partner in crime, Mr. Jake Craig, a.k.a.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Daddy. You're matching me today.
- 5:23Speaker 3: I am, aren't I? Someone, our manager actually said that.
- 5:26Speaker 3: And my rebuttal is... Because you dress nicely.
- 5:31Speaker 1: I thought you were going to hit me with something.
- 5:34Speaker 3: No, no, no. We're best friends.
- 5:35Speaker 2: I thought you were going to say... I'm in a
- 5:36Speaker 2: good mood. I thought you were going to say something like,
- 5:38Speaker 2: you know I dress nicely.
- 5:40Speaker 3: So that's why I won. So that's why I won. Man,
- 5:42Speaker 3: I'm wearing his Stax jumper and they went into liquidation
- 5:45Speaker 3: or whatever they did. Remission or something like that.
- 5:48Speaker 2: They went into reconciliation or something?
- 5:51Speaker 3: Yeah, they were spending their money on G-wagons instead of
- 5:54Speaker 3: paying their taxes.
- 5:56Speaker 1: The no taxes thing wigs me out so much.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. I don't understand. It scares me almost.
- 6:03Speaker 1: I also see things where it's like, Kumpso, they grew
- 6:06Speaker 1: too quickly. How can you grow too quickly? That's terrifying.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Grow too quickly sounds almost like an excuse for not
- 6:16Speaker 3: paying your taxes.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. We grew too quickly and we couldn't keep up.
- 6:21Speaker 1: It kind of sounds to me like you just didn't adapt.
- 6:25Speaker 3: You started spending more than you were saving.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Did I tell you about, I did, didn't I, about
- 6:30Speaker 1: this thing I saw of the influencer on the Goldie
- 6:33Speaker 1: who had two companies within a few months go into
- 6:37Speaker 1: liquidation because she owed 70 grand to the ATO?
- 6:40Speaker 3: Yeah, fair. Is it almost like if you owe money
- 6:43Speaker 3: to the government, you've got to liquidate them and you've
- 6:45Speaker 3: got to get the money out and pay us or
- 6:46Speaker 3: else you go to jail? Do people go to jail
- 6:48Speaker 3: for not paying taxes? How does it work? Maybe don't
- 6:51Speaker 3: answer that. I'm kind of scared.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Wait, do people go to jail for not paying taxes?
- 6:54Speaker 3: Surely not. Not jail.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Maybe just like- And what type of jail do you
- 6:57Speaker 1: go to?
- 6:57Speaker 2: Hold the phone.
- 7:00Speaker 1: From what we were talking about in our little intro.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:02Speaker 1: If people go to jail for not paying taxes- But
- 7:06Speaker 1: men that fucking commit violence towards women can get let
- 7:09Speaker 1: out on parole.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:11Speaker 2: We have an issue at hand.
- 7:12Speaker 3: And I wish, I know the stat is correct, but
- 7:14Speaker 3: I don't know it exactly. Like the amount of situations
- 7:17Speaker 3: that happen are from people who have been incarcerated.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it's like out on parole and then they go, well,
- 7:22Speaker 1: fuck it, I'm going to go kill her.
- 7:23Speaker 2: And then they end up. Hopefully an actual jail.
- 7:25Speaker 3: It's something like 75% of people.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Oh, it's ridiculous.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Who are like repeat offenders. And you're like, what the
- 7:29Speaker 3: fuck did you let this guy out?
- 7:31Speaker 1: I know. It's like, why? Yeah.
- 7:32Speaker 2: This was preventable.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:33Speaker 2: That's what makes it bad is that it's preventable.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Yeah. And it almost feels like there was something you
- 7:37Speaker 3: could do.
- 7:37Speaker 1: It's like, is tax evasion a criminal offense? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:41Speaker 1: 100%.
- 7:42Speaker 2: We pay our taxes.
- 7:43Speaker 1: We do.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Because we're terrified.
- 7:44Speaker 3: We're frugal.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I'm terrified we are not paying taxes.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Yeah. We need to be more fast and loose in
- 7:50Speaker 3: the world, I reckon.
- 7:50Speaker 2: You reckon?
- 7:51Speaker 1: Yeah. We are pretty fast and loose. I don't know.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I reckon we are.
- 7:54Speaker 3: You reckon we're fast and loose?
- 7:56Speaker 1: I mean, what is it?
- 7:59Speaker 2: Give me a situation. What would be fast and loose?
- 8:01Speaker 3: A situation? Yeah.
- 8:02Speaker 2: What would be considered fast and loose? Give me a situation.
- 8:04Speaker 2: I'll tell you what I do.
- 8:05Speaker 3: You are flying overseas and your flight is at 9am
- 8:10Speaker 3: and instead of traveling, checking the train to get to
- 8:14Speaker 3: the train station the day before, you just rock up
- 8:16Speaker 3: to the train station when you feel.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Like it's the right time.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Oh, no, no, no.
- 8:19Speaker 2: I would check the night prior to make sure I
- 8:20Speaker 2: leave at the right time. Yeah, you're not fast and loose, man. No,
- 8:22Speaker 2: I'm not fast and loose.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Really?
- 8:23Speaker 2: No, I feel like I sometimes am.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Wait, this is from Hamish and Andy.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Yeah, fast and loose.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Fast and loose and high and tight. Is that what
- 8:29Speaker 2: it is?
- 8:30Speaker 3: I know Hamish is fast and loose.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember this from Hamish and Andy. I don't
- 8:33Speaker 2: know what high and tight is. And Andy's just very organized.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Andy's just Andy. He's one of a kind, that bloke.
- 8:39Speaker 2: I actually think I would... i would very much get
- 8:43Speaker 2: along with andy.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Our claim to fame is we've had a half an
- 8:45Speaker 3: hour chat with andy whilst he was driving.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Yeah we had we we had we actually had a
- 8:51Speaker 1: we had an organized meeting with them with him sorry
- 8:54Speaker 1: with andy and um the.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Meeting was clearly not.
- 8:58Speaker 1: All that important to him right so what ended up
- 9:02Speaker 1: happening was the call started and he was driving he
- 9:04Speaker 1: goes sorry boys i'm on my way to uh He
- 9:06Speaker 1: didn't say this, but obviously a more important meeting. And
- 9:09Speaker 1: he was like, I'm in the car, sorry. So we
- 9:10Speaker 1: just had a phone call with him. We just like
- 9:12Speaker 1: straight up chatted while he was in the car.
- 9:14Speaker 3: We didn't care. Pretty cool.
- 9:16Speaker 2: We didn't care to be fair.
- 9:16Speaker 1: It was kind of like a weird surreal thing to
- 9:18Speaker 1: be talking to him.
- 9:25Speaker 3: It is time for Dilemmas. If you want to get
- 9:26Speaker 3: a dilemma read, you know what to do by now.
- 9:27Speaker 3: There will be a link in the description. They're completely anonymous.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Be sure to submit them and we try our best
- 9:32Speaker 3: to get to all of them.
- 9:33Speaker 1: And Jake.
- 9:34Speaker 3: If you go to Dilemma and you're like, the boys
- 9:35Speaker 3: aren't getting it.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I think you should go and you should promote the pod.
- 9:40Speaker 3: What?
- 9:40Speaker 1: Give us five stars on Spotify. And if you're liking
- 9:43Speaker 1: this YouTube video, if you're watching on YouTube, subscribe. We
- 9:45Speaker 1: want to hit 50K subscribers. I'm not going to give
- 9:47Speaker 1: a date. I'm not going to give a timeframe because
- 9:49Speaker 1: I don't want to fail.
- 9:50Speaker 3: I just teed you up to hit a home run
- 9:54Speaker 3: with a baseball bat. Yeah. And you just took a
- 9:56Speaker 3: free throw.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Man, I just took a fucking tennis racket to a
- 9:58Speaker 1: cricket game.
- 9:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Was a cool, that was a pretty good metaphor. I
- 10:02Speaker 1: made that one up on the spot. Anyways, guys, for
- 10:04Speaker 1: real though, if you're enjoying this, please five stars on
- 10:08Speaker 1: Spotify and Apple Podcasts. If you don't want to give
- 10:10Speaker 1: us five stars, you don't have to, but you have
- 10:11Speaker 1: to give us a reason. It's only fair because then
- 10:14Speaker 1: we can get better. We are open to constructive criticism.
- 10:16Speaker 3: I want the baddies to go out there and say, hey,
- 10:18Speaker 3: I've got this really good pod. One of the hosts'
- 10:20Speaker 3: name is Jake. He's all right. But the other one, Oddie,
- 10:22Speaker 3: he's amazing.
- 10:24Speaker 1: If I'm being completely honest with you, if it's going
- 10:25Speaker 1: to get his listeners, then I'll cop it. Anyway, and again, YouTube, subscribe.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Oddie's really good looking.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Hit that bell button.
- 10:36Speaker 2: And the absolute best thing you could do.
- 10:38Speaker 1: The best thing you could do is tell a friend
- 10:43Speaker 1: about the pod and then tell a friend to tell
- 10:45Speaker 1: a friend.
- 10:46Speaker 3: About the pod. Next best thing you can do. Wank
- 10:49Speaker 3: with your imagination.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Correct.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Next best thing you do is submit your dilemma via
- 10:56Speaker 1: the Patreon dilemmas. There we go.
- 10:58Speaker 3: All right?
- 10:59Speaker 2: Because they're going to get answered over there.
- 11:00Speaker 1: There's obviously a lot less because there's a lot less
- 11:02Speaker 1: people on Patreon that are listening to Patreon than there
- 11:04Speaker 1: are listening to the free episodes.
- 11:06Speaker 3: So it's- Eight nine a month.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Eight nine a month. How much?
- 11:09Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 11:10Speaker 1: No, no, no. It's no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 11:13Speaker 1: And you'll get your own Dilemmas link over there, so
- 11:14Speaker 1: go for it.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Here we go. Hi, guys. I have a dilemma that
- 11:17Speaker 3: I can't get out of my head and really need
- 11:18Speaker 3: your advice on. My boyfriend and I have moved in
- 11:21Speaker 3: together a few months ago. We live with a housemate
- 11:24Speaker 3: who is my partner's best mate. The problem is I
- 11:27Speaker 3: think I'm in love with him. What? I feel like
- 11:30Speaker 3: we need a sound effect. Wait for this next line.
- 11:36Speaker 3: My boyfriend works away. So my housemate and I are
- 11:41Speaker 3: alone together most of the time. As we talk a
- 11:44Speaker 3: lot and have been getting to know each other, I'm
- 11:46Speaker 3: starting to notice he has more qualities that I want
- 11:49Speaker 3: in a partner than what my boyfriend has. We are
- 11:52Speaker 3: more aligned in values when it comes to relationship and family,
- 11:56Speaker 3: have similar hobbies, and from how he acts and how
- 11:59Speaker 3: he says he is, he is a lot more loving
- 12:01Speaker 3: as opposed to my partner, who is more classically avoidant.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Not to help my housemate.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Is hot as fuck.
- 12:09Speaker 3: And single as fuck.
- 12:10Speaker 1: I just want to fuck him.
- 12:11Speaker 3: No, that was me.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Sorry. I'm waiting. That's what I'm hearing.
- 12:14Speaker 3: I'm waiting for him to give me the ick, but
- 12:16Speaker 3: my feelings seem to be getting stronger. My housemate hasn't
- 12:20Speaker 3: said or done anything out of line to give me
- 12:22Speaker 3: a clue he feels the same. Most likely out of
- 12:25Speaker 3: respect to my boyfriend, his best mate. However, we all
- 12:28Speaker 3: went out one night and he is quite touchy. I'm
- 12:32Speaker 3: trying to tell myself that we could never be together. No,
- 12:36Speaker 3: you can't. But. It's so hard to get him out
- 12:39Speaker 3: of my head when we live in such close proximity.
- 12:42Speaker 3: If my housemate wasn't in the picture, I don't think
- 12:45Speaker 3: I'd be having these thoughts about uncertainty in my relationship.
- 12:49Speaker 3: So it is specifically my housemate I want. Is this
- 12:51Speaker 3: a sign I should break up with my partner and
- 12:53Speaker 3: find someone else who has the qualities I need? Or
- 12:56Speaker 3: do I need to tell my housemate how I feel
- 12:58Speaker 3: in the hopes he feels the same? Bruh. I have
- 13:03Speaker 3: one option too.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Okay.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Okay. But I don't think it's a good idea.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Is it fucking?
- 13:08Speaker 3: Option two was, do I tell my housemate how I
- 13:12Speaker 3: feel in the hopes he feels the same? Yeah.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Are you saying do that?
- 13:16Speaker 3: I'm thinking like movie wise.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Unfortunately, this is very unfortunate, right? But the thing that
- 13:23Speaker 1: sucks about this is that like it's so sexy. It's
- 13:28Speaker 1: so naughty, so sexy. Do we go like?
- 13:31Speaker 3: Good and evil or like proper relatable is like good
- 13:33Speaker 3: the right thing.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Like the first option you said yeah is hands down
- 13:38Speaker 1: the winner hands down the winning option break up with
- 13:42Speaker 1: your boyfriend move out and find someone that is of
- 13:46Speaker 1: the same like you'll never regret ever ever regret doing
- 13:51Speaker 1: that no breaking up with your boyfriend moving out and
- 13:54Speaker 1: then Being single and hopefully finding someone that is the
- 13:57Speaker 1: right match for you in all ways.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Who said that? Who said that, Jake?
- 14:02Speaker 1: Unfortunately, the situation you're in, though, is so, so sexy.
- 14:09Speaker 3: Yeah. I actually used to see a girl and she
- 14:15Speaker 3: slept with her roommate.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Oh, go on.
- 14:18Speaker 3: It was like we were like talking and she told
- 14:21Speaker 3: me it happened like before we were talking properly. Yeah.
- 14:25Speaker 3: She said it wasn't worth it.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Dang.
- 14:28Speaker 3: And I'm bringing it back to that proximity thing. It's
- 14:30Speaker 3: like forbidden fruit. It's like the tension's there because you
- 14:34Speaker 3: know you can't do it. She wasn't dating anyone, so
- 14:36Speaker 3: it wasn't bad, but it's also like shitting where you eat.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Can I actually tell a quick story? I don't know
- 14:40Speaker 1: if this is fully true or not, and I'm not
- 14:41Speaker 1: going to name any names purely for that reason, but
- 14:44Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure I know someone. So it's my sister's
- 14:47Speaker 1: good friend.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Do I need to cut that or not?
- 14:52Speaker 2: Nah, no names.
- 14:53Speaker 1: It doesn't matter. I could be totally wrong here from,
- 14:57Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure. So my sister's good friend is about
- 15:00Speaker 1: to get married in like a couple months.
- 15:03Speaker 3: To her roommate.
- 15:04Speaker 1: And I'm pretty, pretty sure they started their relationship as
- 15:09Speaker 1: a situation ship when they were roommates. And there was many,
- 15:12Speaker 1: there was many of, there was a lot of times.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Don't tell her that. There was a lot of, oh wait, yeah, true.
- 15:16Speaker 1: There was a lot of times of toxicity. No, but
- 15:19Speaker 1: she wasn't dating someone and cheated on that guy with
- 15:21Speaker 1: her roommate. But also, I could be wrong there and
- 15:24Speaker 1: it might not have been his roommate. It might have
- 15:25Speaker 1: just been someone that she found. But for some reason,
- 15:28Speaker 1: I'm remembering that they were roommates. Yeah.
- 15:30Speaker 3: For some reason.
- 15:31Speaker 1: But I also think like- But they're getting married.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Fuck, so it can work. But I don't know. Something
- 15:37Speaker 3: about like a roommate to me becomes a family member. Yeah.
- 15:43Speaker 2: I can see that.
- 15:44Speaker 3: And that's how I would see them. Like I don't
- 15:46Speaker 3: want to be- I feel like it's creepy on both sides.
- 15:48Speaker 3: If like I'm having showers and walking around and like
- 15:50Speaker 3: you're going to see me in my undies probably.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Yeah, probably. Like a quick run down to the kitchen.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Walking around in my towel around me junk. And I
- 15:56Speaker 3: want to know that the people I'm living with aren't
- 15:59Speaker 3: sexualizing me. Yeah. And I feel like that's just my
- 16:03Speaker 3: mindset towards that. Whereas probably both of you, but we
- 16:06Speaker 3: know you are, are fantasizing about this guy.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Yeah. Look, I was joking around.
- 16:12Speaker 3: But the right thing to do is I think this
- 16:15Speaker 3: is a sign that you want more than your boyfriend
- 16:18Speaker 3: and you should just break up and not tell anyone
- 16:19Speaker 3: and move on. I agree.
- 16:20Speaker 1: I agree. Fully agree.
- 16:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Fully, fully agree. I can't say anything else because.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Because the other option too is it's so, so, so, so, so... No,
- 16:29Speaker 3: I don't... Because you loved your boyfriend at one point
- 16:31Speaker 3: or you still do, you owe it to him not
- 16:33Speaker 3: to pursue his best friend even if he does feel
- 16:36Speaker 3: the same way.
- 16:37Speaker 1: You owe that to your boyfriend. Yeah, of course. And
- 16:38Speaker 1: then if you and your boyfriend break up and the
- 16:39Speaker 1: friend for some reason messages you and is like, I'm
- 16:41Speaker 1: keen as, it's a thing where it's like, look... Respect, no.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Fully out of respect, you either say no or it's like,
- 16:49Speaker 1: you know, your boyfriend is now nothing to you or,
- 16:53Speaker 1: you know, he was something to you, but now he's,
- 16:54Speaker 1: you know, you're not a boyfriend with him anymore or
- 16:56Speaker 1: boyfriend and girlfriend with him anymore. It's like you could,
- 16:58Speaker 1: I'm not saying you'll never be with the best friend.
- 17:01Speaker 3: The right thing to do, because you, I think if
- 17:03Speaker 3: you want to break up amicably, this is like a
- 17:05Speaker 3: two-year plan or some shit. You then ask your ex-boyfriend, hey,
- 17:09Speaker 3: I've got feelings for so-and-so. Do you mind if I
- 17:11Speaker 3: pursue that? And out of respect to you, I'm not
- 17:12Speaker 3: going to do it if you say no. Let's see
- 17:13Speaker 3: what he says.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Here's the thing, right? Actually, here's one thing I want
- 17:16Speaker 1: to say, right? Let's just say you break up with
- 17:17Speaker 1: your boyfriend. And you're going to go down this avenue
- 17:21Speaker 1: of like, okay, I'm doing the right thing. I'm going
- 17:22Speaker 1: to break up with my boyfriend. I'm going to get
- 17:23Speaker 1: my head wrapped around things. I'm going to go take
- 17:25Speaker 1: some time to myself. I'm going to hopefully grow. I'm
- 17:27Speaker 1: going to live life.
- 17:28Speaker 4: Right.
- 17:29Speaker 2: And then in like a year or two, you know,
- 17:31Speaker 2: you're fully over your boyfriend.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Right. You've been over him for a while. And then
- 17:37Speaker 1: you're thinking like, I've never actually found anyone, you know,
- 17:40Speaker 1: like I really still think that that friend of his,
- 17:42Speaker 1: I don't know his name, let's say it's like Jack.
- 17:44Speaker 1: I really think Jack is still the one for me.
- 17:47Speaker 2: I don't think you need to get permission from, anyone
- 17:49Speaker 2: to have a go for.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Jack suppose that yeah no it's been a couple years
- 17:53Speaker 1: it's like why not just be like yo jack fucking
- 17:56Speaker 1: not gonna lie pretty keen you've taken the time.
- 17:59Speaker 3: To really think about this yeah you changed my mind
- 18:01Speaker 3: you owe your boyfriend.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Nothing and then it's now you did your butt you
- 18:05Speaker 1: did everything and then and then it's like it's more
- 18:07Speaker 1: on jack to go to maybe his friend and say
- 18:09Speaker 1: look um Hand over the reins.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Your ex-girlfriend is hand over the reins.
- 18:13Speaker 3: If you want to be a good friend or not.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Your ex-girlfriend, she's messaged me. I'm not going to lie.
- 18:17Speaker 3: The responsibility.
- 18:18Speaker 2: I would like to pursue this.
- 18:20Speaker 1: And it's like, who is the ex-boyfriend to say, I
- 18:24Speaker 1: deny you the opportunity of love? He might say, this
- 18:27Speaker 1: is something that's super uncomfortable to me. This really broke
- 18:29Speaker 1: my heart. I would appreciate it if you didn't. And
- 18:31Speaker 1: then the friend has to then accept the fact that
- 18:34Speaker 1: he's probably going to lose his friend for chasing you. Yeah.
- 18:37Speaker 1: You know what I mean? And if you come here
- 18:39Speaker 1: to try and get us to support some unhealthy habits,
- 18:42Speaker 1: it's just not going to fucking happen.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Almost got me, but you didn't.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Because we are the relatables. I know I was saying
- 18:48Speaker 1: it's a sexy situation earlier, but life ain't a movie. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 18:53Speaker 3: There's so many options, so many traps you could do
- 18:55Speaker 3: to see if he is interested, but I'm not going
- 18:56Speaker 3: to tell them.
- 18:57Speaker 1: That's a good point. There's so many things you could
- 18:59Speaker 1: do to see if he's interested.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Yeah, shit.
- 19:01Speaker 1: And you'd be doing the wrong thing every time.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Leave your underwear in his washing basket.
- 19:05Speaker 1: I mean, what?
- 19:06Speaker 2: That would be great.
- 19:07Speaker 1: All right. My turn. Hey, Mommy and Daddy. Big fan
- 19:10Speaker 1: of the pod. My dilemma is there's this guy in
- 19:13Speaker 1: my friend group.
- 19:14Speaker 2: We are in our 20s.
- 19:15Speaker 1: He has slash had a thing with another girl in
- 19:18Speaker 1: our group. I recently hooked up with him, and he
- 19:20Speaker 1: seems to be pretty interested in doing more. Now my
- 19:22Speaker 1: issue is, do I tell her about it after she's
- 19:26Speaker 1: already questioned me and I've said no? Do I risk
- 19:28Speaker 1: losing one of my only friendships I have in a
- 19:30Speaker 1: small town by telling her? Am I a bad friend
- 19:32Speaker 1: if I continue with this guy knowing she was there first?
- 19:37Speaker 2: Wait, so.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Girl, how the fuck are you in a small town
- 19:42Speaker 1: with one friend and you've decided to have sex or
- 19:46Speaker 1: hook up?
- 19:46Speaker 3: Hook up to me sounded like not have sex because
- 19:48Speaker 3: he wanted to do more.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Hook?
- 19:50Speaker 2: Up to me is sex, isn't it?
- 19:51Speaker 3: Yeah, normally, but the way she wrote that, I think it's- Okay,
- 19:53Speaker 3: so let's say it's a kiss.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Like his tongue.
- 19:54Speaker 1: What took over your body to say, yeah, this man
- 19:58Speaker 1: is someone that I can kiss?
- 19:59Speaker 3: He's one of three, Jake.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Go for the other two. He's 33%.
- 20:04Speaker 3: Jack and Jacob. The three of age.
- 20:08Speaker 1: What part of you thought this is a good idea?
- 20:11Speaker 3: We got one. It was on Patreon. Another dilemma about
- 20:14Speaker 3: her friend started dating someone she was having sex with. Friendship, guys.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Sex is great.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Everyone knows that.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Having an orgasm is an amazing feeling. You know what's better?
- 20:24Speaker 3: A good friendship.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Yeah, in the long run.
- 20:26Speaker 3: In the long run. Oh, no. In the short run, no.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Well, in the short run, clearly not because the orgasm
- 20:32Speaker 1: is winning sometimes.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Yeah, it's on it. Like, we used to say a lot,
- 20:36Speaker 3: and it's still true, men think with their penis. But also,
- 20:38Speaker 3: a lot of people just think with the orgasm. Actually, true.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Do women ever think with their clit?
- 20:42Speaker 4: 100%.
- 20:42Speaker 3: Not necessarily. It could be penetration. It could be anything.
- 20:46Speaker 1: It's called clithinking. Clinking?
- 20:51Speaker 3: Yeah, clithinking.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Thinking, clinking, clitorising, clitorinking. It's called clitting. It's called clinking.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Yo, you've been clinking again. I'm not going to lie, guys.
- 21:05Speaker 1: I'm clinking over here.
- 21:08Speaker 3: I'm clinking.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Guys, clinking.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Let us know if anyone's listening has clinked before.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Because it's a big thing where, like, you know, they'll
- 21:18Speaker 1: be like, you're thinking with the wrong head. Yeah. You know,
- 21:21Speaker 1: men will be like, you're thinking with the wrong head, blah, blah, blah. Um,
- 21:25Speaker 1: and that's such a common thing for men to do.
- 21:26Speaker 1: I need to know if women are out here clinking. Yeah.
- 21:29Speaker 3: If they're clinking. Well, they get like wet.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Is it more like to do with like, I don't
- 21:34Speaker 1: think women just get like wet.
- 21:37Speaker 3: Yeah, they do. Really?
- 21:38Speaker 1: Like just standing there doing nothing. They just get really.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Just standing there doing nothing, right?
- 21:47Speaker 3: No.
- 21:47Speaker 2: I thought like.
- 21:48Speaker 3: You don't just like get a full rock hard boner
- 21:51Speaker 3: just by standing there. You get a bit of charm.
- 21:53Speaker 1: True.
- 21:53Speaker 3: If Beth started like rubbing your knee a little bit
- 21:56Speaker 3: and then you start going on your head, oh, imagine
- 21:58Speaker 3: what she looks like naked.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Yeah. You'll be getting.
- 21:59Speaker 3: That's the same thing.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:01Speaker 3: I don't think so. Ask your girlfriend if she's ever
- 22:03Speaker 3: got wet thinking about you.
- 22:03Speaker 1: I don't want to know the answer. That's far too
- 22:10Speaker 1: honest of a person because if she hasn't, she'll break
- 22:12Speaker 1: my heart. She'll break my poor little heart. I don't
- 22:15Speaker 1: think I can take it.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Maybe someone else. I'm like 99% sure. But like way
- 22:22Speaker 3: too intimate. But haven't you ever gone down and spent it?
- 22:24Speaker 1: Yeah, of course.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's after like, you know, a couple minutes
- 22:27Speaker 2: of kissing.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Yeah, true.
- 22:28Speaker 2: So I understand that got her wet. True, true.
- 22:32Speaker 3: I think a good thought can get them wet.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Like Beth's never been, you know, we've never been out.
- 22:39Speaker 3: I'm fucking, I'm so good.
- 22:41Speaker 1: We've never been out.
- 22:41Speaker 2: For dinner or anything and she's just gone.
- 22:44Speaker 1: So I went for you right now.
- 22:44Speaker 3: I also think like after dating for a while, I
- 22:47Speaker 3: will be on your side and think it happens a
- 22:48Speaker 3: lot less. In the beginning.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Yeah, in the beginning.
- 22:51Speaker 3: In the beginning.
- 22:53Speaker 1: In the beginning. Is that niche? That can't be niche.
- 22:59Speaker 1: In the beginning. In the beginning.
- 23:00Speaker 2: That can't be niche.
- 23:01Speaker 3: What do we say? So if you've been clinking, let
- 23:03Speaker 3: us know. Yeah. Um, clitter inking.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Oh yeah. Wait, shit. We didn't even help this baddie.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Um, let's go. Did we?
- 23:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:11Speaker 3: We helped her.
- 23:12Speaker 2: She said, am I a bad friend?
- 23:13Speaker 3: We just made up a new word for her to
- 23:14Speaker 3: use to tell her friend what she's.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Sorry, babe. I've been clinking.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Forgive me.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Uh, am I a bad friend if I continue with
- 23:22Speaker 1: this guy knowing she was there first?
- 23:24Speaker 3: Yeah. A hundred percent.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Get permission from her if you really want to pursue it.
- 23:28Speaker 3: But also, don't be offended if she says, nah, like
- 23:30Speaker 3: I would actually care.
- 23:31Speaker 1: But also, let's be real here. We just literally had
- 23:34Speaker 1: a dilemma on Patreon where one of the baddies was
- 23:36Speaker 1: seeing a guy from the start said he wanted to
- 23:38Speaker 1: be casual. They ended up ending things after like a
- 23:41Speaker 1: pretty decently long situationship. Then her friend, it's like such
- 23:45Speaker 1: a similar situation. Her friend is like, oh, I like
- 23:47Speaker 1: this guy. Any chance I can pursue it? And she goes,
- 23:49Speaker 1: obviously like she's not going to be like, no. You
- 23:53Speaker 1: know what I mean? So it's like, even if you
- 23:54Speaker 1: ask this friend, She's going to say yes purely out
- 23:58Speaker 1: of just the feeling like she has to say yes
- 23:59Speaker 1: because it's just their thing wasn't a serious, serious thing.
- 24:04Speaker 1: So you're not being a good friend of even asking her,
- 24:06Speaker 1: I reckon.
- 24:07Speaker 3: True, because you don't want to put your friend in
- 24:08Speaker 3: that position, do you?
- 24:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:09Speaker 1: So just stop it.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Stop clinking. Stop it outright. Stop clinking and start using
- 24:16Speaker 3: the clip.
- 24:16Speaker 2: You've also been a bad friend for lying.
- 24:17Speaker 1: True.
- 24:18Speaker 3: Fuck.
- 24:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Friendship rules.
- 24:20Speaker 1: You're a clinker.
- 24:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Wait, I feel like. Oh, I was going to say,
- 24:25Speaker 1: I feel like clinker sounds like a slur, but I
- 24:26Speaker 1: actually recently, not recently, a little while ago, I saw
- 24:30Speaker 1: this trend on TikTok where people were creating like, in
- 24:33Speaker 1: the future, robots are going to be AI or whatever
- 24:35Speaker 1: and have feelings and stuff.
- 24:36Speaker 3: And they were clinkers.
- 24:36Speaker 2: And people are calling them clinkers.
- 24:38Speaker 1: There's going to be some humanoid robots come out and
- 24:40Speaker 1: people are going to be like, hey, clinker, come do this.
- 24:42Speaker 1: And then it's going to get to a point where
- 24:43Speaker 1: the robots are like, don't call me that.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:46Speaker 1: So I'm never ever going to be calling a robot
- 24:48Speaker 1: a clinker from the beginning. From the beginning.
- 24:50Speaker 3: From the beginning.
- 24:59Speaker 1: All right, baddies.
- 25:00Speaker 3: Time.
- 25:01Speaker 1: I'd like to bring in a fresh new segment and
- 25:04Speaker 1: I'm going to call it nostalgia. And it is going
- 25:06Speaker 1: to be where Audie and I talk about something nostalgic
- 25:09Speaker 1: from our lives while we eat something nostalgic.
- 25:13Speaker 3: And the best thing that we could eat right now, Jake,
- 25:16Speaker 3: would be, you mentioned, a fresh, original glazed, or whatever
- 25:19Speaker 3: you like, Krispy Kreme donut.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Hell yeah.
- 25:22Speaker 3: Because as a kid, I definitely remember going into a
- 25:25Speaker 3: Krispy Kreme shop, you walk in, your nose smells the
- 25:28Speaker 3: original glaze, and then just as a kid, you just
- 25:31Speaker 3: start to smile because your parents are going to buy
- 25:33Speaker 3: you a donut. You pick one. It's such a good occasion.
- 25:36Speaker 1: On the way to the airport?
- 25:37Speaker 3: Yeah, there would be no better nostalgic treat than a
- 25:40Speaker 3: Krispy Kreme donut.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Right, agreed.
- 25:42Speaker 1: I remember because there only used to be one way
- 25:44Speaker 1: to the airport in Sydney. And so on the way
- 25:47Speaker 1: there is a standalone Krispy Kreme shop.
- 25:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:51Speaker 2: But yeah, we used to do on the way to
- 25:52Speaker 2: the airport. But my question for you.
- 25:56Speaker 1: This week, Oddie, while I pick up my donut, is
- 26:00Speaker 1: did you have, because I had one, a routine from
- 26:06Speaker 1: when you would get home from school as a kid?
- 26:09Speaker 3: Ooh, what age are we talking?
- 26:11Speaker 2: It could be any. Mine is from memory. I was
- 26:14Speaker 2: living in Canada.
- 26:16Speaker 1: So I would have been anywhere from like year three
- 26:19Speaker 1: to five.
- 26:20Speaker 3: Okay, if we're talking primary school, the first one that
- 26:23Speaker 3: comes to mind is I'd get off the bus and
- 26:26Speaker 3: then it was about a 10-minute walk up a hill.
- 26:29Speaker 3: I remember walking up the hill, I'd cut through a
- 26:30Speaker 3: house because everyone used to be nice back in the
- 26:32Speaker 3: day and you could cut through a house to get
- 26:33Speaker 3: to my house.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Oh!
- 26:35Speaker 3: And save the trip, whereas you couldn't do that now. Oi,
- 26:38Speaker 3: remember when people used to live by Love Thy Neighbour? Yeah.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Nobody does that anymore.
- 26:44Speaker 3: We will, mate, when we live together. Not together, next
- 26:47Speaker 3: to each other.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Bloody oath we will, mate.
- 26:50Speaker 3: And then I would get home. And do you remember ABC3?
- 26:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I do.
- 26:54Speaker 2: But I didn't watch it.
- 26:55Speaker 3: Yeah, because you had Foxtel. You had all those bougie networks, eh?
- 26:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:01Speaker 3: I would chuck on ABC3, grab some cereal and just
- 27:05Speaker 3: watch like either a cartoon or I can't remember the exact.
- 27:10Speaker 3: I loved Take Me Back to the Sweet Time.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Oh, he's talking about Bondi Rescue.
- 27:17Speaker 3: Is that Bondi Rescue?
- 27:18Speaker 1: That's Bondi Rescue, bro. That's nostalgia.
- 27:21Speaker 3: That is nostalgia. That's Australian nostalgia right there. I don't
- 27:25Speaker 3: think it was, but what was the one where they
- 27:27Speaker 3: were in a surf camp?
- 27:28Speaker 1: Isn't that Stoked?
- 27:30Speaker 3: No, no, no, not the animated one. How they went
- 27:32Speaker 3: to high school and they're all trying to be pro surfers.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Not Puberty Blues.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Blue Water High.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Blue Water High. That was it.
- 27:40Speaker 1: That's an Australian icon of a show.
- 27:43Speaker 3: I love that show.
- 27:45Speaker 1: I moved to Australia too late to watch that. But, okay,
- 27:49Speaker 1: mine is... So, where I lived in Canada, a small
- 27:53Speaker 1: town called Chase. And me and my older sister, we...
- 27:59Speaker 1: I seem to remember her being about two years above.
- 28:02Speaker 3: Me in school, I think.
- 28:04Speaker 1: And so I would have been, I just remember at school,
- 28:09Speaker 1: very small town and we lived maybe two kilometers away.
- 28:13Speaker 1: So we would walk to and from school each day
- 28:15Speaker 1: because my stepdad would be at work and my mom
- 28:17Speaker 1: would also be at work. And so me and Joanna,
- 28:21Speaker 1: I just remember, I don't know why it was like,
- 28:24Speaker 1: I swear we did this for literally years.
- 28:27Speaker 2: We would get home.
- 28:29Speaker 1: And it would just be like classic kid, get home,
- 28:31Speaker 1: kick the shoes off, throw the bag down. Because I
- 28:35Speaker 1: always seem to remember mom getting home and be like, Jake,
- 28:36Speaker 1: pick your bag up, blah, blah. Anyway.
- 28:38Speaker 3: I remember that too.
- 28:41Speaker 1: We would go to the kitchen, we would grab a snack,
- 28:44Speaker 1: and then we would sit down. And I just, I
- 28:46Speaker 1: don't know why I can picture this so clearly, but
- 28:48Speaker 1: we used to sit down, turn the TV on, and
- 28:51Speaker 1: every single day, as soon as school finished, we'd get
- 28:53Speaker 1: home and we would watch this show called Dick and
- 28:56Speaker 1: Jane's Spy Parents.
- 28:58Speaker 3: Never heard of it.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Never heard of it?
- 29:01Speaker 3: It must be a Canadian thing.
- 29:03Speaker 1: God, I hope, like, I think it's called Dick and
- 29:05Speaker 1: Jane's Spy Parents. I can't fully remember, but it's definitely something,
- 29:08Speaker 1: something spy parents.
- 29:10Speaker 2: And I used to remember.
- 29:12Speaker 1: That we would be, we would, like, look at each
- 29:16Speaker 1: other and be happy if we got home in time
- 29:19Speaker 1: for that show. Yeah.
- 29:21Speaker 3: I remember that. What? What happened to live TV where
- 29:23Speaker 3: you had to be there at like 6 p.m. or
- 29:26Speaker 3: 3 p.m.? It was the same show airing. I forgot
- 29:29Speaker 3: about that.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Do you remember when you could miss a show and
- 29:33Speaker 1: that means you missed the show? Do you remember when
- 29:37Speaker 1: I remember.
- 29:37Speaker 2: When Foxtel brought out being able to record a show?
- 29:40Speaker 1: And go back and watch it? We never had that.
- 29:41Speaker 1: And you would record it and you'd have to watch
- 29:43Speaker 1: the ads and everything.
- 29:44Speaker 3: I remember, yeah, because I used to go to a
- 29:45Speaker 3: soccer training at night and my favorite show was on
- 29:48Speaker 3: and I'd be like, Mom, what happened? I missed it.
- 29:50Speaker 3: What happened in Survivor? What happened in Home and Away?
- 29:52Speaker 2: Oi, crazy, crazy, crazy.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Oi, actually, funny enough, We'll wrap up this week, but
- 29:59Speaker 1: next week, I think I have a good one about
- 30:02Speaker 1: remembering when streaming services came out.
- 30:04Speaker 3: Oh, man. It's making me feel old, but there's something
- 30:08Speaker 3: so nice about reminiscing with.
- 30:10Speaker 2: A friend, eh?
- 30:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:12Speaker 1: We highly recommend sitting down, box of Krispy Kreme donuts, fresh,
- 30:16Speaker 1: original glazed, talking about nostalgic memories. 100%.
- 30:20Speaker 3: That smell has such a nostalgic element to it.
- 30:22Speaker 1: The Ladybug. I have, I found a TikTok and I
- 30:31Speaker 1: thought the days of icks were over, but I found
- 30:35Speaker 1: a new one and it says, girls, what's the smallest
- 30:37Speaker 1: thing a man did that instantly gave you the ick?
- 30:40Speaker 1: And I would normally actually steer clear, but some of
- 30:42Speaker 1: these were fucking funny.
- 30:44Speaker 3: Okay.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Watched the barber pump him up on the chair and
- 30:47Speaker 1: it really affected me.
- 30:50Speaker 3: I've never thought of that.
- 30:51Speaker 1: True. True. A barber replied to it and he goes, dang,
- 30:55Speaker 1: I can't even pump up my customers anymore.
- 30:59Speaker 3: And it's because they're so short. The more pumps, pump, pump, pump, pump,
- 31:03Speaker 3: pump for those short kings out there. If you really
- 31:05Speaker 3: think about it. Let bro get a fade though.
- 31:08Speaker 1: I would like to say that getting pumped up on
- 31:10Speaker 1: the barber's chair is actually quite demoralizing when I really
- 31:14Speaker 1: think about it. It's actually quite demoralizing.
- 31:18Speaker 3: Bros, don't be taking your girl to the barber with you, eh?
- 31:20Speaker 1: No.
- 31:21Speaker 3: Leave her at home. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 31:22Speaker 1: That's just something for mums when you're a kid, when
- 31:24Speaker 1: your mum takes you to the barber and just sits
- 31:26Speaker 1: over in the corner.
- 31:26Speaker 3: The mums out there are probably getting the ick too. Fuck,
- 31:28Speaker 3: that's my son.
- 31:29Speaker 2: When did you go from hairdresser to barber?
- 31:33Speaker 3: When I could drive myself.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Yeah, honestly, same. I was a hairdresser up until I
- 31:37Speaker 2: could drive myself.
- 31:37Speaker 3: Yeah, that's because our mums took us.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:38Speaker 3: And then you realize how, like, no offense, they're not
- 31:41Speaker 3: trained to do it, how bad that fades.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 31:43Speaker 2: And to be fair, I've never been a fade guy.
- 31:45Speaker 2: So just a haircut's always very simple.
- 31:47Speaker 3: I was looking at some of my old haircuts, like
- 31:48Speaker 3: how high they were. I'm like, far out.
- 31:50Speaker 1: I actually am an idiot. I probably need to start.
- 31:52Speaker 1: So I'll go to a barber and all I get
- 31:54Speaker 1: is a haircut. But they just, they charge a lot, right?
- 31:58Speaker 1: Barbers are expensive. And I could just go to Just
- 32:02Speaker 1: Cuts and get a, you know, probably a $ 35, $ 40
- 32:05Speaker 1: haircut for 40 minutes or whatever. And it's, cheaper true
- 32:09Speaker 1: same exact same thing.
- 32:11Speaker 3: Yeah hairdressers is like pretty expensive oh yeah i feel
- 32:15Speaker 3: i feel for girls though too like their hair is
- 32:17Speaker 3: like 450 plus like color and.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Best went the other day and she was there for
- 32:22Speaker 1: like four hours and it was like five hundred dollars.
- 32:24Speaker 3: I also like what do they do like what what
- 32:26Speaker 3: if a girl just like this is gonna sound dumb
- 32:28Speaker 3: like if she just grows her hair out naturally what
- 32:30Speaker 3: are they doing.
- 32:32Speaker 1: So here's something i do right When Beth gets her
- 32:38Speaker 1: hair done.
- 32:38Speaker 3: But she, no, because she used to be blonde. So
- 32:41Speaker 3: now they have to maintain the natural color. Yeah, yeah.
- 32:45Speaker 2: So she's going back to her natural color.
- 32:47Speaker 3: But back when she was blonde, I can understand now
- 32:49Speaker 3: that she kind of ruined her natural hair color. And
- 32:52Speaker 3: she doesn't want to start again.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true.
- 32:55Speaker 3: But what if it all naturally out from the start?
- 32:57Speaker 2: So she gets a tone.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I know.
- 33:00Speaker 2: She gets some coloring.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Gets some blending.
- 33:01Speaker 3: Blending.
- 33:03Speaker 1: I assume at the very beginning you get a clean
- 33:06Speaker 1: and you get a dry and then you get the foils,
- 33:09Speaker 1: which is part of the coloring. So I just want
- 33:12Speaker 1: to say something. And this is like being me being
- 33:14Speaker 1: fully transparent. And I don't think this is bad. I
- 33:16Speaker 1: think that this is me being a supportive boyfriend. So
- 33:20Speaker 1: I can tell the difference when Beth gets her hair done.
- 33:24Speaker 1: but I can't tell the $ 500 difference. You know what
- 33:26Speaker 1: I mean?
- 33:26Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying?
- 33:27Speaker 1: So I can't tell the $ 500 difference. So, but what
- 33:29Speaker 1: I do do is when I see it, I say,
- 33:31Speaker 1: oh my God, it looks amazing. It's beautiful. It's worth
- 33:35Speaker 1: every penny.
- 33:37Speaker 3: I'll tell you what. So Cassie's not a natural blonde.
- 33:40Speaker 1: No.
- 33:41Speaker 3: I can tell the difference.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Between what, natural and not natural?
- 33:43Speaker 3: Like prior enough. Imagine if you just had this.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Skill and you were like, you're not a natural blonde.
- 33:51Speaker 3: You are a natural blonde. Because it fades over time
- 33:54Speaker 3: and then I can tell when it's been redone. It's
- 33:56Speaker 3: more like vibrant.
- 33:57Speaker 1: And also, I guess if you're not natural blonde and
- 33:59Speaker 1: your hair is brown, your roots grow out.
- 34:01Speaker 3: Last time Cassie went to the hairdressers, Sofa Dofa sat
- 34:05Speaker 3: next to her.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Heck, did she talk to her?
- 34:07Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, for a little bit.
- 34:08Speaker 3: And Sofa Dofa goes, I love your uggs.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Where are they from? Cassie's like, came up. Sofa Dofa's like, fuck.
- 34:16Speaker 1: I was hoping for something a bit more high-end. A
- 34:17Speaker 1: bit high-end. Bro, she's rich, eh?
- 34:21Speaker 2: Yeah, she's rich.
- 34:22Speaker 1: She should just start her own ugly.
- 34:23Speaker 3: That means Cassie's rich.
- 34:24Speaker 1: What is she doing? Wait, Cassie, you have no business
- 34:27Speaker 1: going to the same hairdresser as Sofadova.
- 34:29Speaker 3: Legit.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Fuck, what were we talking about?
- 34:34Speaker 1: Oh, girls, what's the smallest thing that, sorry, girls, what's
- 34:40Speaker 1: the smallest thing a man did that instantly gave you
- 34:42Speaker 1: the ick? I was on my period and he called
- 34:45Speaker 1: me his little ketchup packet.
- 34:48Speaker 3: Oh, damn.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Why does anyone think that's a good idea? Well, I
- 34:55Speaker 1: feel like I could say that to Beth and she
- 34:56Speaker 1: wouldn't get the ick. Because we're so far into it.
- 34:59Speaker 3: My little ketchup bucket. The funniest thing happened the other day.
- 35:04Speaker 3: So Cassie, prior to getting her period, would always say
- 35:09Speaker 3: to me, I'm getting my period, I'm getting so hungry.
- 35:12Speaker 3: And the other day, she goes to me, I knew
- 35:15Speaker 3: her period was coming soon. She goes, I'm so hungry.
- 35:17Speaker 3: I was like, oh, you're getting close to your period.
- 35:20Speaker 3: She goes, am I not allowed to be hungry? Well,
- 35:24Speaker 3: to be fair, she's almost trained you.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Have you ever heard about the thing where the farmer
- 35:28Speaker 1: rings a bell, then feeds everyone?
- 35:29Speaker 2: And feeds all his animals. So then the bell now
- 35:32Speaker 2: means food. So they all come running when they hear
- 35:33Speaker 2: the bell. Cassie says, I'm hungry.
- 35:35Speaker 1: And you think, oh. Yeah.
- 35:36Speaker 3: And I'm like, I said, hold up. Either way, you're
- 35:39Speaker 3: allowed to do whatever you want. You're allowed to be
- 35:40Speaker 3: hungry or not. But I'm just connecting the dots because
- 35:43Speaker 3: it asks like, you're like, why am I so hungry?
- 35:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:45Speaker 3: I'm giving you an answer.
- 35:47Speaker 1: It was a trap from the start. Girls, what's the
- 35:53Speaker 1: smallest thing a man did that immediately gave you the ick?
- 35:56Speaker 1: He would use a baby voice when he woke up
- 35:58Speaker 1: and would send me a good morning message, a voice message,
- 36:01Speaker 1: like good morning baby in a baby voice, right? And
- 36:05Speaker 1: then she says, ruined my day every day.
- 36:09Speaker 3: Good morning, my little squishy wishy.
- 36:12Speaker 2: I'm trying to think about baby voices. I find I'll
- 36:14Speaker 2: do it to my dogs more.
- 36:16Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's not baby. That's like high-pitched.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Yes, high-pitched.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Baby's like, oh, my God. I see.
- 36:23Speaker 1: I don't do that. I just can't.
- 36:24Speaker 3: I just want to give you a cuddle. Like with Beth, I'll.
- 36:27Speaker 2: Be like, I call her like Missy.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Picky because I call her Picky. I don't know why
- 36:32Speaker 1: I never called her Pickle. Picky evolved from Pickle anyway.
- 36:35Speaker 1: And so I'll hit it with like, I'm like, I
- 36:38Speaker 1: miss a Pookie. Like that's my kind of babiest thing
- 36:41Speaker 1: I'll do to her.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Just like get her attention.
- 36:43Speaker 1: What about you? I don't, okay.
- 36:45Speaker 3: What do I, I say Pookie. Oh, Pooks, Pooks.
- 36:48Speaker 1: I think it's so funny that Pookie is ended up
- 36:50Speaker 1: becoming the unironic nickname.
- 36:52Speaker 3: I tried to, I've been trying like some new stuff,
- 36:54Speaker 3: like Pookahonus. Very hard to get a new one in there,
- 36:56Speaker 3: isn't it?
- 36:56Speaker 1: Pookahonus.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Cassie didn't like that. No.
- 36:58Speaker 1: It was from Pocahontas. And apparently like. Pookahontas.
- 37:01Speaker 3: That's got like, I don't know, bad juju around it. Oh, okay.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Fair.
- 37:04Speaker 3: And then private Pookie. Cause Cassie was in the army.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Pee pee.
- 37:08Speaker 3: Private pee pee is pretty funny.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Oh, shit.
- 37:14Speaker 3: She didn't like that.
- 37:17Speaker 1: He walked me out to my car barefoot, kissed me goodnight,
- 37:21Speaker 1: then ran back into his house on his tippy toes
- 37:23Speaker 1: like a fairy. No, that's cute.
- 37:26Speaker 3: He was so happy. He was giddy just to say
- 37:30Speaker 3: bye to you.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Yeah, why'd they give you the ick? He was kicking
- 37:33Speaker 1: his feet when he got home. He couldn't hold it in.
- 37:36Speaker 3: That guy was a soft lover.
- 37:40Speaker 1: He was a very gentle lover. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Girls, what's the smallest.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Thing a man did that instantly gave you the ick?
- 37:48Speaker 1: He followed Instagram on Instagram. Okay, that is the ick.
- 37:54Speaker 3: I've always thought, do Instagram buy their followers? They have
- 37:57Speaker 3: like 200 million followers. Surely they do.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Is it like an automatic thing? Do you reckon Instagram
- 38:03Speaker 1: ever culls the bots that follow them? No. But they
- 38:06Speaker 1: cull our bots, the dogs.
- 38:08Speaker 3: We lost like 12,000 followers one day and we were like, fuck,
- 38:12Speaker 3: are we ruined?
- 38:13Speaker 1: We were like, surely 12,000 people didn't wake up and think,
- 38:16Speaker 1: I hate the relationship now. I was wigging out when
- 38:18Speaker 1: that happened.
- 38:21Speaker 3: They should give you a little like, hey, we just
- 38:23Speaker 3: culled all the robots.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Yeah, like we put a lot of effort into getting
- 38:26Speaker 1: these followers. It's like put some respect on some influencers' names.
- 38:31Speaker 3: First world problem for sure.
- 38:33Speaker 1: He burnt the roof of his mouth on a chicken nugget.
- 38:36Speaker 1: took the week off work sick because of it and
- 38:38Speaker 1: moved back to his mum's for a week so she
- 38:40Speaker 1: could take care of him.
- 38:41Speaker 3: I tell you what, we have a friend. I don't
- 38:44Speaker 3: know why it made me think of this. He is
- 38:46Speaker 3: not an active person and he came to the gym
- 38:48Speaker 3: with us. He was in his fitness journey and we
- 38:52Speaker 3: hit legs and finished with calves. And I don't think
- 38:56Speaker 3: he'd ever hit calves before in his life. Next day.
- 39:01Speaker 3: He was crippled. He took the week off work. He
- 39:04Speaker 3: worked for his dad. He's a plumber. Fucking trade. He
- 39:06Speaker 3: took the whole week off work. He definitely took a day,
- 39:09Speaker 3: didn't he?
- 39:09Speaker 1: Yeah. No, I think he took a week off.
- 39:11Speaker 3: Or it was a Wednesday and he took Wednesday, Thursday,
- 39:13Speaker 3: Friday off.
- 39:13Speaker 1: He couldn't walk.
- 39:14Speaker 3: And then he lived underneath us. He went to his
- 39:17Speaker 3: little flat and he was like going around on his bum. Right.
- 39:20Speaker 1: He couldn't walk. He couldn't walk.
- 39:23Speaker 2: And I just thought, you cannot be serious.
- 39:25Speaker 1: And he's like, no, no, you don't get it.
- 39:27Speaker 3: You don't get it.
- 39:27Speaker 1: And I was just thinking, like, come on. I know,
- 39:30Speaker 1: I get it hurts.
- 39:31Speaker 3: But he was like, you know when a dog has to, like,
- 39:34Speaker 3: itch his bum and he has his bum across the ground?
- 39:36Speaker 3: That's what he was doing, like, scooting around like that.
- 39:38Speaker 1: Like, you just, once you warm up, it sort of
- 39:40Speaker 1: goes away.
- 39:41Speaker 3: Yeah, 100%.
- 39:42Speaker 2: He burped when we were kissing. That's disgusting.
- 39:46Speaker 3: Have you ever felt one of them coming on?
- 39:48Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. You ever been mid-sesh? Wait, two worst things.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Two worst things. Mid-session, a burp's coming on or a
- 39:57Speaker 1: fart's coming on.
- 39:59Speaker 3: I've never had a fart in sexy time. You've never farted?
- 40:02Speaker 3: I've never felt even felt. I feel like anatomically, even
- 40:05Speaker 3: like I think too, because when I get a boner,
- 40:07Speaker 3: I think like that controls everything.
- 40:09Speaker 1: Really?
- 40:09Speaker 3: That comes first. That's more important than anything else.
- 40:11Speaker 1: My body has betrayed me many a times.
- 40:16Speaker 3: I see that actually.
- 40:18Speaker 2: He shivered because he was cold.
- 40:20Speaker 4: Come on.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Fuck sakes. He tried to speak to the waiter and
- 40:24Speaker 1: the waiter didn't hear him and left.
- 40:26Speaker 3: That's happened to me a few times. That's actually harsh,
- 40:29Speaker 3: but like so true.
- 40:31Speaker 2: See, that would give you the ick butt.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:33Speaker 2: And that's unfortunate.
- 40:34Speaker 3: When the music's loud, you don't know how loud you
- 40:36Speaker 3: should go because you don't want to go too loud.
- 40:38Speaker 3: And then you're like, excuse me. And you just look
- 40:42Speaker 3: like a dick. Excuse me. And they don't hear you
- 40:44Speaker 3: and you're like, oh, fuck.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Getting the attention of a waiter or a waitress is.
- 40:49Speaker 2: It's a fine art.
- 40:49Speaker 3: Sometimes, if I was a waiter or a waitress and
- 40:51Speaker 3: I could see people on like a first date, I
- 40:53Speaker 3: would pretend not to like hear them.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Said his lips were chapped and he pulled out a
- 41:00Speaker 1: Dior lip gloss, put it on and then smacked his lips.
- 41:04Speaker 1: A Dior?
- 41:05Speaker 3: Shit, bougie.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Smacking your lips crazy.
- 41:09Speaker 1: He didn't dry himself with the towel when he got
- 41:11Speaker 1: out of the shower. He just put his clothes on
- 41:13Speaker 1: a wet body. That's heinous. That's insane.
- 41:18Speaker 3: Disgusting.
- 41:20Speaker 1: He pooped right before I came over and his bathroom
- 41:23Speaker 1: was in his room. So I smelt it while we
- 41:25Speaker 1: were talking on the bed.
- 41:28Speaker 3: And now he's like, let's get some, let's get down dirty.
- 41:31Speaker 3: I just got dirty in there. Let's get dirty in
- 41:33Speaker 3: the bed.
- 41:34Speaker 1: What did I tell you one time? Did I tell
- 41:36Speaker 1: you about, so I was probably 18 at the time.
- 41:43Speaker 1: And this is just before I moved down to my parents' house. Um,
- 41:47Speaker 1: And I was, I had this kind of separate room
- 41:51Speaker 1: that my dad had built me in the garage. And, um,
- 41:55Speaker 1: he just was giving me my own space, which was nice,
- 41:57Speaker 1: I guess. I think they just wanted me out of
- 41:59Speaker 1: the house to be honest with you. But, um, so
- 42:02Speaker 1: in there I had, he, he, it was all just
- 42:05Speaker 1: one room. It was like, it was a studio apartment, right?
- 42:07Speaker 1: I had a little mini fridge. I couldn't cook food
- 42:09Speaker 1: out there.
- 42:09Speaker 3: Which house was this?
- 42:10Speaker 1: At Pickett's.
- 42:11Speaker 2: It was in the garage.
- 42:12Speaker 1: And, um, um, in there, in the corner, as if
- 42:18Speaker 1: it was like a stall without a door was a toilet.
- 42:21Speaker 3: Right.
- 42:22Speaker 1: And I just had a curtain that I had for
- 42:25Speaker 1: the toilet. I didn't know you had this. And yeah, JJ,
- 42:28Speaker 1: he'd seen it.
- 42:28Speaker 3: He was there.
- 42:29Speaker 1: He'd been there heaps of times. Anyway, I, um, one
- 42:33Speaker 1: time I got home from work and I would just
- 42:34Speaker 1: go straight.
- 42:35Speaker 3: So you had like a garage door.
- 42:36Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 42:36Speaker 3: Straight garage door, which is part of my room, bro.
- 42:41Speaker 2: It was kind of cool as a teenager. I thought
- 42:43Speaker 2: this is hectic anyway.
- 42:44Speaker 1: And it was private, but, um, So one time I
- 42:47Speaker 1: got home and I was taking a shit after work.
- 42:49Speaker 1: I got home. I was like, yeah, I gotta take
- 42:51Speaker 1: a shit. And I, if I was there alone, I
- 42:52Speaker 1: would never close that curtain. Right. I fully had a
- 42:55Speaker 1: girlfriend at the time and I must've taken shit. So anyway,
- 42:59Speaker 1: curtains open. And my dad, he, for some reason decides
- 43:01Speaker 1: he's not going to knock on my door. He just
- 43:03Speaker 1: comes in, opens the door and he goes, Oh, and
- 43:05Speaker 1: then he had something to tell me and he goes, Oh,
- 43:07Speaker 1: and I was like, Oh shit.
- 43:08Speaker 2: And he goes, Oh, I just wanted to tell you
- 43:10Speaker 2: where to put the dog down today.
- 43:11Speaker 1: I was like, okay. He goes, yeah, his name is Angus.
- 43:17Speaker 2: He goes, just wanted to let you know where to
- 43:18Speaker 2: put Angus down today.
- 43:20Speaker 1: And I went, sweet man. I could have waited.
- 43:23Speaker 3: To be fair, because he was so distracted. Great time
- 43:28Speaker 3: to tell you.
- 43:29Speaker 1: I mean, to be honest with you, it wasn't. You
- 43:31Speaker 1: couldn't deal with the emotions. Yeah, it wasn't one that
- 43:33Speaker 1: it affected.
- 43:34Speaker 2: It didn't affect me anyway. He was very old.
- 43:36Speaker 1: He needed to be put down.
- 43:37Speaker 3: I'm actually, like, proud of your dad for doubling down. Like,
- 43:40Speaker 3: he saw the sitch and he's like, I'm still going
- 43:42Speaker 3: to tell him.
- 43:42Speaker 1: I can't believe you just fucking stood there and thought,
- 43:44Speaker 1: you know, actually, man, yeah, I just wanted to let
- 43:46Speaker 1: you know.
- 43:47Speaker 3: Have your parents ever walked in on you wanking?
- 43:49Speaker 1: No.
- 43:50Speaker 3: Really?
- 43:50Speaker 1: I've actually been very, very lucky with that. I don't
- 43:53Speaker 1: know if they ever have known that I'm doing it.
- 43:56Speaker 1: They've never said anything. They've nearly walked in on me
- 43:59Speaker 1: with a girlfriend once.
- 44:00Speaker 3: That's cool, bro.
- 44:03Speaker 1: I feel like that's kind of, that's less, that's like,
- 44:06Speaker 1: you know, it's not gross. It still is, but it's not.
- 44:10Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 44:11Speaker 2: You've been walked in on it.
- 44:13Speaker 3: I haven't been caught, but I think they knew what
- 44:16Speaker 3: I was doing.
- 44:16Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
- 44:19Speaker 3: And then I went through a phase of being like,
- 44:22Speaker 3: you motherfuckers need to start knocking.
- 44:25Speaker 2: Seriously, guys, I got to be honest with you.
- 44:27Speaker 1: I am a 16 year old boy.
- 44:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 44:30Speaker 1: All right. I don't know if you guys were ever
- 44:32Speaker 1: this age.
- 44:33Speaker 2: Which you obviously.
- 44:33Speaker 1: Fucking were, it's time to knock on the door. Legit.
- 44:37Speaker 1: And wait for an answer. All right.
- 44:39Speaker 3: And then, yeah, my dad, mum would be very like
- 44:42Speaker 3: conscious of what I said, but dad would knock and
- 44:44Speaker 3: go in.
- 44:44Speaker 2: I'm like, I knocked, I knocked.
- 44:46Speaker 3: I was like, fuck off.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Come on, mate.
- 44:47Speaker 3: Yeah. I've been, I try to go out to toilet. Locked.
- 44:54Speaker 2: I've always been lucky enough. My parents were always like, yeah,
- 44:57Speaker 2: you can have a lock on your door and stuff.
- 44:58Speaker 3: If you want. I don't know why. Do they not
- 45:00Speaker 3: do it for safety when you're younger? Because, like, why
- 45:02Speaker 3: didn't I have a lock on my door? It seems
- 45:03Speaker 3: like the best idea ever.
- 45:04Speaker 1: It's a good question. But, no, I'd never been walked
- 45:07Speaker 1: in on. But what I was going to say was imagine, like,
- 45:11Speaker 1: there'd be so many people out there that have just
- 45:13Speaker 1: been surely walked in on just full-on hard dick in hand, mid-stroke,
- 45:20Speaker 1: looking at phone or whatever, and their parents walk in
- 45:22Speaker 1: and they go, whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 45:24Speaker 2: What are you doing if you walk in on your 15,
- 45:25Speaker 2: 16-year-old son doing that?
- 45:28Speaker 3: Oh, I'm doing nothing. I'm closing the door.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 45:31Speaker 3: We're not talking for like a couple of days. Really?
- 45:35Speaker 3: That's probably not good parenting.
- 45:37Speaker 1: No, it can't be.
- 45:38Speaker 3: We had a friend.
- 45:39Speaker 1: I would.
- 45:40Speaker 2: Go on, go on.
- 45:40Speaker 3: We'll get back to the question. We had a friend.
- 45:42Speaker 3: It goes to the question. He was one of the
- 45:45Speaker 3: first wankers in our group.
- 45:46Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 45:47Speaker 3: He got caught like three times a week on the
- 45:52Speaker 3: family computer in the office watching porn and wanking. And
- 45:57Speaker 3: it was because he started at like, say, I think
- 46:00Speaker 3: I started at 15. I know exactly who you're talking about.
- 46:03Speaker 3: He would have been 13.
- 46:03Speaker 2: I know exactly.
- 46:05Speaker 3: And I remember his go-to was like, what was it called?
- 46:08Speaker 1: You, you porn.
- 46:09Speaker 3: No, what was it? That one. Maybe. I think it
- 46:12Speaker 3: was that.
- 46:13Speaker 1: I assume there's one called that.
- 46:14Speaker 3: And I think it became a normal thing in the family.
- 46:17Speaker 1: I shouldn't say his name yeah he just does this
- 46:20Speaker 1: he's working.
- 46:20Speaker 3: Again oh my god what would you do i'm fucking
- 46:24Speaker 3: yeah open the door.
- 46:25Speaker 5: I well no here's my what first off reaction would
- 46:28Speaker 5: be oh oh sorry sorry and then i walk away
- 46:31Speaker 5: right and then he'd obviously finish he'd probably probably come
- 46:34Speaker 5: out head in hand type of thing come out.
- 46:37Speaker 2: Come out of the closet.
- 46:40Speaker 1: He would um He'd.
- 46:41Speaker 2: Probably walk out of his room, maybe head in hand,
- 46:43Speaker 2: or maybe he'd.
- 46:43Speaker 1: Be trying to play it off.
- 46:44Speaker 3: I'm not coming out.
- 46:45Speaker 1: What are you doing, standing there for the rest of
- 46:46Speaker 1: your life? Finishing.
- 46:47Speaker 3: Oh, fuck me. Here's what I would want to do, though.
- 46:54Speaker 1: I would just want to talk to him and say, look,
- 46:55Speaker 1: I understand, bro, that this is something that's going to happen.
- 46:59Speaker 1: I would just be like, look, let's be real here.
- 47:01Speaker 1: I understand this is something that's going to happen. I
- 47:03Speaker 1: don't want you to be embarrassed, even though it's embarrassing.
- 47:06Speaker 1: But I would also say, I think I would have
- 47:09Speaker 1: the chat with him of being like, that porn's the
- 47:12Speaker 1: furthest thing from real.
- 47:13Speaker 2: Just, I would want to have, I would really just
- 47:15Speaker 2: want to talk to him about that.
- 47:15Speaker 3: I feel like that chat's better not being caught though.
- 47:19Speaker 3: I feel like you just normalize wanking at that point. Yeah.
- 47:21Speaker 1: I don't even like what, I don't even know what
- 47:23Speaker 1: the right thing to do would be, but I just
- 47:24Speaker 1: would want to say like, people can get very addicted
- 47:27Speaker 1: to this type of thing. I just would want to
- 47:29Speaker 1: have a super casual chat and just be like, look,
- 47:31Speaker 1: I don't, I wouldn't want to just like shame him
- 47:33Speaker 1: and be like, you're fucking gross. You fucking pig. Yeah.
- 47:36Speaker 1: You know what I mean? I wouldn't want to just
- 47:37Speaker 1: shame you.
- 47:37Speaker 3: Surely no one would do that.
- 47:39Speaker 2: Probably not.
- 47:40Speaker 1: Because I don't want him, I don't want it to
- 47:42Speaker 1: be a thing where it's like, it's obviously a very
- 47:47Speaker 1: private thing, but I don't want to have.
- 47:48Speaker 2: It be a thing where he then is.
- 47:50Speaker 3: He's shaming.
- 47:51Speaker 1: He wants to hide it. I don't want him to
- 47:53Speaker 1: do it in front of me, but I don't, I
- 47:56Speaker 1: just would want him to know that, I just want
- 47:59Speaker 1: my kids to know that if they ever have an
- 48:00Speaker 1: issue with something, and it's like, if you ever think
- 48:02Speaker 1: to yourself, you can be addicted to porn, It's like,
- 48:05Speaker 1: I want you to come and talk to me about
- 48:07Speaker 1: that because I want, I'll talk to you about it.
- 48:09Speaker 2: Like we can talk about anything, zero judgment.
- 48:12Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 48:13Speaker 2: Like people do things.
- 48:15Speaker 3: So would you be like happy if you walked in
- 48:17Speaker 3: on a wank and just no phone in hand and
- 48:19Speaker 3: he's just like close his eyes.
- 48:20Speaker 1: If he was going full, if he, if I walk
- 48:22Speaker 1: in on him wanking and he's like mid stroke, right.
- 48:24Speaker 1: And then, um, I see the phone and I just
- 48:27Speaker 1: don't see, and I don't see a phone anywhere. And
- 48:29Speaker 1: I walk out and I think, and then he comes
- 48:32Speaker 1: out and I talked to him about it. And I
- 48:33Speaker 1: was like, well, we just, using the imagination, he goes, yeah, I'd.
- 48:37Speaker 2: Be like, good on you.
- 48:39Speaker 1: I feel like I get like, if you're going to
- 48:41Speaker 1: do it, that's probably.
- 48:42Speaker 3: The healthiest way to do it. Sorry for interrupting.
- 48:45Speaker 1: Yeah, true. My bad.
- 48:47Speaker 2: Put a sign on your door next time.
- 48:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:49Speaker 3: Put a sock on your door when you're wanking, son. Like,
- 48:52Speaker 3: you know, in a hotel room, we.
- 48:53Speaker 1: Got to do not disturb.
- 48:54Speaker 2: Fucking hell.
- 48:55Speaker 3: Let me tell you what that's for. Gross, bro, gross.
- 49:12Speaker 3: Welcome back to Oddy Shark Tank.
- 49:15Speaker 2: Jake, it's good to be here.
- 49:17Speaker 1: It should be called Oddy VC now.
- 49:20Speaker 3: What's that?
- 49:21Speaker 2: Oddy Venture Capitalism.
- 49:22Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 49:23Speaker 3: Oddy Venture Capitalism. Baddies. I have evolved with the help
- 49:27Speaker 3: of my friend, Mr. Jake Craig, as well as Sarah,
- 49:30Speaker 3: the baddest baddie.
- 49:31Speaker 1: Yeah, boy.
- 49:32Speaker 3: You heard from her last week with updates from the
- 49:35Speaker 3: bed divider. She has gone off and drawn friends. Four
- 49:41Speaker 3: prototypes of different ideas for the bed divider. If you're
- 49:44Speaker 3: new around here, go back and listen. But basically, business
- 49:46Speaker 3: idea where there's some sort of divide in a bed
- 49:49Speaker 3: so your partner, more so your girlfriend, doesn't roll over
- 49:52Speaker 3: and hit you in the middle of the night.
- 49:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:55Speaker 3: And we're trying to prototype some good ideas and we've
- 49:57Speaker 3: recruited Sarah. She sent through four brilliant designs that we
- 50:01Speaker 3: can talk through and see which one we like before
- 50:04Speaker 3: we call her back and tell her... Kind of where
- 50:08Speaker 3: we're going to go with this, hey?
- 50:10Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I mean, she, I think she has a
- 50:12Speaker 1: few ideas. She wants to make them on her own
- 50:14Speaker 1: first to see if they work.
- 50:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I know.
- 50:16Speaker 2: Talk about commitment.
- 50:18Speaker 3: Exactly. That's what we love from the baddies. And what
- 50:20Speaker 3: we're going to do is we're going to explain it,
- 50:21Speaker 3: but also we're going to post them on the Instagram
- 50:23Speaker 3: because there are actually some really good diagrams.
- 50:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:27Speaker 3: So, from Sarah, the baddest baddie, the bed by the plan,
- 50:30Speaker 3: idea one, magnets. So there looks to be a fitted
- 50:34Speaker 3: sheet and then under the underside of the fitted sheet,
- 50:36Speaker 3: there's a type of like soft magnet you can get.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Yeah, she said that on the phone too.
- 50:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I understand now I see the photos. And then
- 50:44Speaker 3: over the top sheet, there's this piece of foam that's
- 50:47Speaker 3: the shape of a Dorito.
- 50:48Speaker 2: Yep, like a long, it's like Toblerone.
- 50:50Speaker 3: Yes, exactly. That's pretty good. Not good for sex because
- 50:55Speaker 3: it's pointy like Toblerone. What if it's soft? You'd be like,
- 50:58Speaker 3: I feel like, oh.
- 50:59Speaker 1: How hard do you expect it?
- 51:02Speaker 2: We'd have to test it.
- 51:05Speaker 1: That can be arranged imagine.
- 51:09Speaker 3: That we're gonna go we're gonna know it's good for
- 51:12Speaker 3: sex um.
- 51:14Speaker 1: Thoughts honestly good idea reason being i think it's a
- 51:21Speaker 1: good idea is that because i assume the magnets are
- 51:24Speaker 1: like magnity yeah but they're not like i don't know
- 51:28Speaker 1: nasa grade magnets or whatever so It'll be able to
- 51:31Speaker 1: just like sort of click into place, right? And then
- 51:34Speaker 1: hold that position. And you might kick it off place,
- 51:36Speaker 1: but at least the magnet's still connected up near you
- 51:39Speaker 1: or whatever. But the reason why I like it is
- 51:41Speaker 1: because all you got to do is grab the centerpiece,
- 51:45Speaker 1: pull it out. Agreed. Right? You can either have it
- 51:47Speaker 1: on top of the bed. It's not going to weigh much.
- 51:50Speaker 1: Or you can have it and have it like along
- 51:52Speaker 1: the bed head. So, it's like adding a little bit
- 51:54Speaker 1: of support to your head just.
- 51:55Speaker 2: While you guys are cuddling.
- 51:56Speaker 3: It would even add to like when you're not using it,
- 51:58Speaker 3: the pillows. It would sit the pillows up even nicer. Yeah, right.
- 52:02Speaker 3: This one's good.
- 52:03Speaker 1: And then, so what I like about it is all
- 52:06Speaker 1: those things and the fact that also if you don't
- 52:10Speaker 1: want to buy, I assume we're going to have to supply,
- 52:12Speaker 1: like part of the thing we sell is you can
- 52:14Speaker 1: either sell the bed sheet with the magnet in it
- 52:17Speaker 1: and the bed vider, still thinking of a name by
- 52:20Speaker 1: the way, baddies, and the bed vider. Or you could
- 52:22Speaker 1: probably buy just the bed vider and not worry about
- 52:26Speaker 1: the magnet.
- 52:26Speaker 3: It's almost like agreed, true. But you could also just
- 52:30Speaker 3: sell it as a package and like a magnet can
- 52:32Speaker 3: just sit underneath anyway and then straight on top. It
- 52:35Speaker 3: just wouldn't hold that well, would it?
- 52:37Speaker 1: So if we sold bed sheets, the magnet would be
- 52:38Speaker 1: sewed in somehow. And I think that's going to be
- 52:40Speaker 1: the one that's the most comfortable if you ever lay
- 52:43Speaker 1: on it. And then I like her questions. She goes,
- 52:45Speaker 1: will magnets work through duvet?
- 52:47Speaker 3: I feel like you just put the duvet over it. Yeah.
- 52:49Speaker 2: And then she said, will you feel the magnet under
- 52:51Speaker 2: the sheet?
- 52:52Speaker 3: Would be blocked by the.
- 52:53Speaker 1: And then only.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Work for top sheet option.
- 52:56Speaker 1: And then her last question is, magnets connect to people's piercings?
- 53:00Speaker 1: She's thought of everything.
- 53:01Speaker 3: Imagine that, your nipple piercing, you get caught in the
- 53:05Speaker 3: middle of the night.
- 53:07Speaker 1: It's not going to be that strong of a magnet though.
- 53:10Speaker 3: No, I feel like game's the game too. Is magnetic
- 53:14Speaker 3: forces bad to sleep with.
- 53:15Speaker 1: In the long run? I mean, only if you have
- 53:18Speaker 1: a pacemaker. Yeah.
- 53:19Speaker 3: True. We'll have to put a disclaimer out there.
- 53:21Speaker 1: If you have a pacemaker, please don't use this. So,
- 53:25Speaker 1: I like this idea.
- 53:26Speaker 2: I like magnets.
- 53:27Speaker 3: I think these might be the strongest.
- 53:29Speaker 1: Idea two is snap buttons. And this will not require
- 53:35Speaker 1: a center like foam piece or pillow piece. This is
- 53:38Speaker 1: going to be literally like snap buttons on the bottom sheet,
- 53:42Speaker 1: like the fitted sheet. And then if you have a
- 53:44Speaker 1: top sheet, snap buttons.
- 53:46Speaker 2: Also on that.
- 53:47Speaker 1: And... I don't know how I feel about that purely
- 53:52Speaker 1: because of the inconvenience of actually having to snap the buttons. Agreed.
- 53:56Speaker 3: And there's probably going to be what, minimum 15?
- 53:59Speaker 1: If you want to have a good solid border that
- 54:01Speaker 1: your girlfriend can't slip a leg through, then yeah.
- 54:04Speaker 3: Exactly. Or they're going to have to be really big buttons,
- 54:06Speaker 3: which would be uncomfortable.
- 54:08Speaker 2: Yep, true. And then she's saying, will you feel the
- 54:10Speaker 2: buttons on the fitted sheets?
- 54:11Speaker 3: I feel like you would.
- 54:12Speaker 2: I think they will be strong enough. She has a
- 54:14Speaker 2: question here. Will they be strong enough? I think they will.
- 54:16Speaker 3: I think they would too.
- 54:16Speaker 1: I just think it would be something of like, I
- 54:19Speaker 1: wouldn't want to get down under the blankets and like snap, snap, snap, snap, snap, snap, snap.
- 54:26Speaker 1: I wouldn't want to do that.
- 54:27Speaker 3: And like, I feel like we've option one, although it's
- 54:29Speaker 3: shaped as a Toblerone, we're in prototyping stage. Like the
- 54:33Speaker 3: sex option is still up there.
- 54:35Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 54:35Speaker 3: Whereas there's no sex option with this. Oh, you mean
- 54:39Speaker 3: with this? With the snaps. Yeah, that's a good point.
- 54:42Speaker 3: There's nothing, there's no enjoyment there.
- 54:43Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a good point. You know what we could
- 54:45Speaker 1: do with the Toblerone to give it a sex option?
- 54:47Speaker 1: Is you could make it so it like unfolds. So
- 54:53Speaker 1: it's like in three pieces connected by a bit of
- 54:55Speaker 1: fabric at each joint. And then when you have it
- 54:57Speaker 1: out straight, the magnet keeps it straight. But then when
- 55:00Speaker 1: you take it off, you can fold it up to
- 55:01Speaker 1: make it smaller and also use it as something for sex.
- 55:04Speaker 3: I like that. Because like baddies out there, have you
- 55:05Speaker 3: ever had like, you're having a good session, missionary, and
- 55:08Speaker 3: then one of you goes, chuck a pillow under my bum.
- 55:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:11Speaker 3: Or can I chuck a pillow under your bum? And
- 55:12Speaker 3: then you go, you have to go like, oh, I
- 55:13Speaker 3: don't really want the pillow I sleep on every night.
- 55:15Speaker 3: And then she's like, I don't want my pillow when
- 55:17Speaker 3: we sleep every night. There's juices. And I'm like, let's
- 55:19Speaker 3: get the bed divider.
- 55:20Speaker 1: Yeah. She's the bed fighter.
- 55:22Speaker 3: Yeah, the bed fighter.
- 55:23Speaker 1: She stays down near our torsos anyway.
- 55:25Speaker 3: Yeah, legit.
- 55:28Speaker 2: Idea three is the rope.
- 55:30Speaker 3: Okay, this one's techie.
- 55:31Speaker 1: So, rope is attached on one end of the bed.
- 55:35Speaker 1: When you want to split the bed, the rope gets
- 55:37Speaker 1: pulled over and hooks over attachment at end of base.
- 55:42Speaker 1: Tension on rope should hopefully be enough to keep anyone safe.
- 55:46Speaker 2: Going under it.
- 55:47Speaker 1: Oh, you know what?
- 55:48Speaker 3: I really like this.
- 55:50Speaker 1: Really? I really like this one actually, bro.
- 55:54Speaker 3: I've got to be completely honest with you. I'm a
- 55:57Speaker 3: big fan of this. Can you explain it a bit
- 55:59Speaker 3: like how you see it? I'm struggling to conceptualize this.
- 56:01Speaker 1: So basically, what you're going to have is attached to
- 56:04Speaker 1: in between your heads, right? Down at the base of
- 56:07Speaker 1: the bed where the bottom of the mattress meets the
- 56:10Speaker 1: bed frame. You'll have something attached there, right? And then
- 56:14Speaker 1: At the other end, in the middle, you'll have the
- 56:17Speaker 1: same thing, but with a long enough rope to reach
- 56:20Speaker 1: over the entire top of like doona cover and everything, right? Yes, yes, yes.
- 56:24Speaker 3: So, when you're done cuddling and you're like, let's divide
- 56:26Speaker 3: this shit. It's like a wall in first class on
- 56:28Speaker 3: a plane.
- 56:29Speaker 1: Well, no, not really.
- 56:30Speaker 2: Like, let's divide this shit.
- 56:31Speaker 1: And what it's going to be doing is basically clamping
- 56:34Speaker 1: down like a ratchet strap, like clamping down the middle
- 56:38Speaker 1: of you. So, neither one of you can really steal
- 56:40Speaker 1: the blanket, but also... there's a good chance that in
- 56:43Speaker 1: your sleepy slumber, you're not going to force a foot
- 56:46Speaker 1: under it.
- 56:46Speaker 3: This is the best version. I do like this because-
- 56:49Speaker 3: This is smart. It's its own thing. We don't need
- 56:50Speaker 3: to sell sheets.
- 56:51Speaker 1: This is smart.
- 56:52Speaker 3: Which I'm kind of against the whole selling our own
- 56:54Speaker 3: sheets because everyone already owns sheets.
- 56:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 56:56Speaker 3: This goes on over everything.
- 56:58Speaker 2: That's a good point.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Note, would a strong elasticated cord be better than a
- 57:03Speaker 1: rope or similar question mark? You could make it like
- 57:07Speaker 1: a padded hockey strap. You can make it look good.
- 57:11Speaker 1: This is good.
- 57:12Speaker 3: You could make like a leopard print one.
- 57:13Speaker 2: This is good if we don't think about sex.
- 57:15Speaker 3: Damn it. You know what I'm saying? Now you explained it,
- 57:19Speaker 3: I understand the best.
- 57:19Speaker 1: It's good.
- 57:20Speaker 3: And I feel like this is a standalone product where
- 57:22Speaker 3: we don't dip our feet into all these other random
- 57:24Speaker 3: stuff we've got to organize.
- 57:25Speaker 1: I agree. It's a good one.
- 57:27Speaker 3: That's a great idea. And then I guess you'd have to,
- 57:30Speaker 3: I don't think it should be, it probably should be
- 57:31Speaker 3: a ratchet thing where you don't like have to, it can't,
- 57:34Speaker 3: Elastic back onto itself so there's any damage.
- 57:37Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 57:39Speaker 3: Definitely no sex in that bed.
- 57:40Speaker 1: All right.
- 57:42Speaker 2: Idea four is rope number two. Okay.
- 57:45Speaker 1: So bed, under duvet, above top sheet, bed base, hooks
- 57:50Speaker 1: like these.
- 57:50Speaker 3: Okay.
- 57:50Speaker 1: So rope slash elastic loops around the mattress. There are
- 57:53Speaker 1: hooks at one end that connect the cord together to
- 57:55Speaker 1: split the bed. Can have tightening mechanism similar to car tie-downs. Right,
- 58:01Speaker 1: so this is very similar. This is actually more what
- 58:03Speaker 1: I was thinking. Yeah, she meant rope, but now it's ratchets.
- 58:06Speaker 3: Yeah, but now it's ratchets.
- 58:07Speaker 2: Basically the same thing.
- 58:07Speaker 1: So this is pretty much the same as Idea. It's
- 58:09Speaker 1: just like an evolved version of Idea 3, which is sick.
- 58:13Speaker 3: It would have been annoying, but like, let me just
- 58:16Speaker 3: ratchet the bed down, babe, before we go to sleep.
- 58:18Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, let's just lock things down.
- 58:20Speaker 3: I will say, too. You know what you could do
- 58:22Speaker 3: as well?
- 58:22Speaker 1: Ratchets are annoying. No, it'd be really fun.
- 58:24Speaker 2: Oh, not for me.
- 58:24Speaker 3: I know how to use them.
- 58:25Speaker 2: Yeah, but like- So people who don't know how to
- 58:27Speaker 2: use them like you.
- 58:28Speaker 1: I learned- And it's still annoying.
- 58:30Speaker 3: But the surfboard ones, which are really easy, I feel
- 58:33Speaker 3: like would be strong enough.
- 58:34Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 58:35Speaker 3: And you just pull. All you do is pull. You've
- 58:37Speaker 3: got to set up and cheer.
- 58:38Speaker 1: It's really annoying. I agree.
- 58:39Speaker 2: I agree with you, actually. That would be plenty strong.
- 58:43Speaker 1: Also, guess what you'd get to do every single night?
- 58:47Speaker 1: Go down, lean over, tighten.
- 58:50Speaker 2: That up, and then go.
- 58:51Speaker 1: Ping, ping.
- 58:51Speaker 2: It's not going anywhere.
- 58:55Speaker 1: Every night on you.
- 58:56Speaker 3: Have we been convinced with the rope? Every night we
- 58:59Speaker 3: would get to go down and then go ping, ping.
- 59:02Speaker 3: That's not going anywhere. Maybe.
- 59:04Speaker 2: What I like about this, right? Two things. If I'm
- 59:07Speaker 2: not thinking about sex, two things. Number one, I think
- 59:09Speaker 2: it will.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Be a very effective way to stop.
- 59:14Speaker 2: Any feet, arms, legs from coming over.
- 59:17Speaker 3: Agreed.
- 59:18Speaker 1: Number two, I think it will be very, very effective
- 59:21Speaker 1: if you have someone who loves to steal the blankets. Agreed.
- 59:24Speaker 1: And Beth is a humongous blanket stealer. Number three.
- 59:29Speaker 2: Was that number two or three? Anyway, number three.
- 59:31Speaker 1: I think what it's going to do is it's going
- 59:32Speaker 1: to add a little bit of down pressure on the blanket.
- 59:36Speaker 1: So it's almost like you have a weighted blanket. So
- 59:37Speaker 1: anxiety is going to be low.
- 59:39Speaker 3: Yeah. And it's almost converting a queen or a king
- 59:42Speaker 3: into two individual single beds.
- 59:45Speaker 1: Fuck yeah.
- 59:45Speaker 3: But then you still maintain the bed you've already got.
- 59:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 59:48Speaker 3: Which is genius. And in hindsight, I low-key wish we
- 59:51Speaker 3: had two single beds.
- 59:52Speaker 2: Honestly, same.
- 59:53Speaker 3: Pushed together.
- 59:54Speaker 2: Cassie said yesterday, she goes, I need to have two
- 59:56Speaker 2: single beds in the same room.
- 59:57Speaker 1: But it just... different just slightly apart.
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: Well i think so from here we'll get sarah back
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: on the phone either next week or the week after
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: yeah and tell her our thoughts and feelings but prototypes
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: should we actually try one and a rope one to
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: compare or we just go full balls.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Deep i think we need to try number one and
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: number four i think we need to try those two
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: i agree yeah number.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: One and number four are definite Yeah.
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: And then shit.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: All right. Come back. We can get around the sex
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: thing because everyone has like, you know, if you're sleeping
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: with two people in the bed and you're in a
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: heterosexual relationship, right? Yeah. Then you 100% have more than
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: just two pillows on your bed. So you're not going
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: to have to use either your pillow or your girlfriend's
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: pillow as the sex pillow, right? And if you're in
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: a lesbian relationship, it's two women. So you definitely have
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: more than two pillows.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: And then most of the time, gay men, way more
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: grown up than than straight men they've got more than
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: just two pillows.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: Yeah and i feel like um if you wanted to
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: get um like a bit or maybe show some initiative
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: too if it wasn't enough of a wall like you
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: didn't want to see him as well you could just
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: chuck a pillow there and then lock the pillow down
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: in the middle such a good idea like that's that's
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: up to the user's discretion that's that's an added bonus
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: maybe in the future yeah because my problem we have
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: those round pillows and sometimes they've got to try and
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: cast you back up Got to put that in the middle,
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: but you wake up and it's gone because it's a
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: cylinder and it rolls. But this thing would lock it down.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Where'd she go? This is good prototyping, I think. I
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: think that at some point in the future, we will
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: be able to also help out with some snoring, but
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: not yet.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: One problem at a time, Jake. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Our
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: big brains aren't that big. All right, come back and
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: see what Sarah says.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Let it go.
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: It's time to call one of you baddies. If you
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: want to get called by us, the link will be
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: in the description. And if you've got a riddle, fuck,
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: I can't talk.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: That's all right.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: If you have a riddle or some good advice for people,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: that would be lovely. Jake.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: Who are we going to call? Fuck, you took my
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: word for it. No, I'm just saying.
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: Go, go, go.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: Who are you going to call? Lauren.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: Hello, is that Lauren?
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Yes, it is. It is.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: Jake and Audie from the Relatable's podcast. How's it going?
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: Hi, I'm good. How are you?
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: We are growing. We're going great.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: Very, very good.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: First question. Do you go by laws?
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: Yes, I do.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Oh shit. Let's go.
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: One from one. What about one from two? Do you
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: have a riddle or can you sign off the episode for.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: Us, please?
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: Um, I can sign off the episode. Um, I don't
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: have a riddle though. Um, or signing off. Um, okay.
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: I quote the, or not a quote, but like a
- 1:02:45Speaker 4: sort of rule that I live by is like always, um,
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: speaking up and saying something because you're never going to
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: change something by not speaking up. So even if you
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: speak up and you don't change something, that's better than
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: having not said anything at all. You've got a higher
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: chance of changing.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Yes. I'm a big fan.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: That goes well off something that we start our episode
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: with today.
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I think talking goes such a long way and
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: it almost feels better and almost human to get your
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: point across.
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: It's given me motivation.
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: As men too, we stay quiet way too much about
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: all the issues in the world. Yes.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Yep.
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: Yeah, no, definitely. I think there's a lot of people
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: that stay too quiet about things and their reasoning is always, well,
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: I'm not going to be able to change that person's opinion.
- 1:03:25Speaker 4: And I'm like, well, but you don't know unless you try.
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: Yeah, do your part in the world and the world
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: would be such a better place. Loz.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: You're a legend.
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: You've nailed it, Loz. Thank you so much for signing
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: off the episode and enjoy the rest of your day.
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: You too.
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: Thanks, guys.
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: Bye.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: That was very good.
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: That was great.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: Very, very good.
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: I was in a goofy mood.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: Yeah, so was I. And then I was like, Dane,
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: that was good. Hard-hitting sign-off.
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: All right, baddies, we love you.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: Stay bad.
