- 0:01Page 448 about and he's pushing good morning brother.
- 0:09It's good to have you gentlemen back.
- 0:11He's pushing this disease, he's expanding, he's bounding this
- 0:14theme, which is how I shame really likes a person much more
- 0:20when he carried himself with humility.
- 0:23And the point was that even if a person is very blessed, you
- 0:28know, the typical perspective is the more I have, the more I
- 0:30believed I should be arrogant. I should feel good about myself.
- 0:33I should consider my fuel to make me feel proud.
- 0:36But in reality, you could look at the exact opposite way, which
- 0:38is the more you're best, the more you have reason to
- 0:40appreciate, the more I have reason to recognize, the more
- 0:43you have reason to realize, hey, I don't deserve this.
- 0:46I should be in a fully thankful mood.
- 0:48And I actually should make you more humble.
- 0:50Sounds like a surprising concept, but it's real.
- 0:53And then he says sham actually punishes and took away certain
- 0:58things from great people because they took too much credit for
- 1:02their success. All right.
- 1:04And I'll give you the way I'm excited and you'll see the way
- 1:06you look at it. So you paid 448.
- 1:13Quadrino has deemed doing. We have seen some great people.
- 1:18Shenenshu who were punished, Alshe eziku Tovalla.
- 1:22That's mom in call Hasidutam because they took credit for all
- 1:29their righteousness. They didn't take credit for
- 1:30being a wealthy person of it being a powerful person.
- 1:33They took credit for being a Sadiq and even that God did not
- 1:36appreciate. For example, in the Hemia
- 1:38Benhaklia, a certain prophet in the Hemia Rabbi Salas the came
- 1:44out the same Dean says his book was not reading according to his
- 1:50name. I guess the book of Prophet, one
- 1:52of his prophets is not reading according to his name and they
- 1:55share Zeke Tuval lots more because he credited himself for
- 1:59his own achievements. One of our kings, a great king
- 2:05said Inela Shalom Malimar means say he talked about the fact
- 2:13that the peace that he prayed for.
- 2:14Now we're not really enjoying the peace that he was given the
- 2:17Vishal now workers but hold the guarantee Alair azolo Shia
- 2:21lemani Alamanda VFD When people this man prayed for something
- 2:25and he got answered and he took credit for his getting answered.
- 2:28And today's point is God does not like when a person takes
- 2:32credit for success for success even in areas of becoming a
- 2:37Sadiq, even areas of righteous areas.
- 2:40Hashem does not want you to take credit.
- 2:42Oh, come on, Madam, is the Rabbi Salas quad to live besuite that
- 2:46small? Anyone who says I'm succeeding,
- 2:49you know why? You know you know why I I'm
- 2:52blessed with these chosen. The person says it's because I
- 2:55do a lot of good. If you guys, I pray you
- 2:58shouldn't say that. What do you mean?
- 2:59Oh, we have. We live in a society where
- 3:02everyone's always praising everybody good.
- 3:04And you have all these gala events and this and that.
- 3:07That's that's. And the name we are, yeah, we
- 3:10are a name of charity. We're actually tiptoeing on a
- 3:12very dangerous thing. You're right.
- 3:13Let's be a little more and we'll get to that.
- 3:15Toileen Lobesz Who talking name I call out to lab is who that
- 3:20small anyone who takes credit right and his prayer is not
- 3:24going to be fulfilled. His prayers are not going to be
- 3:26accepted because of his own credit.
- 3:28They're rather only going to be accepted if he has other
- 3:30people's not his own. A person should not take credit
- 3:38for his own actions the 'cause she can and all the more so she
- 3:42lawyed not say he should not elevate himself in his mind the
- 3:45and become arrogant because of them.
- 3:47Taking credit is a dangerous thing.
- 3:49The Gamal tells you that one of the reasons people's prayers are
- 3:52not answered is because when they pray, they believe that
- 3:55they deserve to be answered. Even prayer, which is a
- 3:59spiritual thing done by a good person, should not be said in a
- 4:04way that the person thinks, oh, I prayed and therefore I'm going
- 4:07to get answered. I deserve to be answered.
- 4:09I did enough. I have my background, I have my
- 4:13good deeds along with my tefila. That'll get it done.
- 4:16No, you pray, but at the same time, in your mind you're
- 4:20thinking I don't deserve to be answered.
- 4:22That's how far it goes. Now, why is taking credit
- 4:25something that Hashem doesn't like?
- 4:27We're not talking about someone taking credit for their wealth.
- 4:29We're not talking about someone taking credit for their fame.
- 4:31We're talking about an individual taking credit for his
- 4:34spiritual success. If I say, you know, I put my
- 4:38hard work in, I learned to message it and I finished.
- 4:42I feel great. That's that's not a good sound.
- 4:46That's not something else someone wants to hear.
- 4:47Why not? I put in the effort.
- 4:50I lent it. I accomplish, I finish.
- 4:53What's wrong with that picture? We're talking about a spiritual
- 4:55thing and spiritual effort. Why shouldn't I feel good about
- 4:57myself? And the answer is that there's a
- 5:01level and there are shades of arrogance in that picture.
- 5:04And there's a lack of an understanding of really where
- 5:06it's coming from. And that's why a person needs to
- 5:09recognize, do not take credit for your deeds.
- 5:12You and I see this when it comes to the world.
- 5:15If you hear a big person get up, whatever it may be, let's say a
- 5:17sports player, he just won the championship.
- 5:21You've seen both press conferences, one and the guy
- 5:25does the bang in the chest, right?
- 5:27And he says, you know, I went into I did.
- 5:29It's all that training. It's a lot of time in the gym.
- 5:33It's all that effort I put in and therefore I'm here today.
- 5:37Nothing really wrong. You don't hear that guy say it.
- 5:40And he sees the other guy when he hits a home run.
- 5:42What does he do? He points upward, right?
- 5:45He says, you want to thank my Mama, right?
- 5:48That guy you and I love. Why don't we enjoy that second
- 5:52person so much more than we enjoy the first?
- 5:54Because he recognizes where it's coming from.
- 5:57He has a certain degree of humility and a certain degree of
- 6:01recognition. He points upward or he thinks
- 6:04his trainers, he thinks his parents, he thinks his original
- 6:08coaches, right. That person has a level of
- 6:12appreciation as true in sports, it's true in life, and it's even
- 6:17true and accompany a spiritual success.
- 6:19When you succeed in life spiritual, when you learn
- 6:22something you accomplish, when you make assume, when you pray
- 6:25something and it gets answered. You should recognize the fact
- 6:28that it is not my doing and I should chalk it up told others
- 6:33to God, to my teachers, to my parents, to those who came
- 6:36before me to my role models and let them be the driving force
- 6:40and not yourself. He's telling you Hashem does not
- 6:43like we take credit for things, even things that are spiritual
- 6:47why the reason is physical or spiritual credit leads to
- 6:53arrogance. He's no other way around it.
- 6:54Even a guy who finished on my second, if he takes credit for
- 6:57the fact that he worked it and he finished that book, there's
- 7:00an automatic pathway to arrogance that doesn't make a
- 7:03difference what you're doing. You can be as personal to finish
- 7:06shots. If you finish shots and you
- 7:08appreciate, you think that you did it right there straight on
- 7:12the road to arrogance. Whereas if a person credits his
- 7:14teachers, his parents, those who helped him, those who gave him
- 7:18the time, wherever may be, he's holding himself back.
- 7:23I'm going down that road. I think it's a clear
- 7:25understanding. It doesn't make a difference,
- 7:26spiritual or physical. The issue, the outcome is the
- 7:30same until your point baby. Or say it's a character issue,
- 7:34it's a. Little bit of a liberal.
- 7:37View from me. Explain.
- 7:39I feel like like, you know, just.
- 7:40Come into the game and not winning.
- 7:41Any like you know. Like, no, no, we're not saying
- 7:43that. We're not saying don't put in
- 7:45the effort. We're not saying don't try to
- 7:47win. We're not saying you shouldn't,
- 7:49you know, sweat and toil in order for any accomplishment.
- 7:52We're saying is when you do, don't turn it back to yourself
- 7:56and take the credit as they the same exact trackers find us out,
- 8:01correct? The result is not in your hands.
- 8:02As the customer buys or not. Right.
- 8:04We raise 100%. We raise our children on putting
- 8:08in the effort and working at it and everything like that.
- 8:11But at the same time, at the same time, we don't take the
- 8:16credit. Show you push, show you put the
- 8:18effort in, show you accomplish and show you should feel good
- 8:22about yourself. But just avoid that little
- 8:24thing, avoid the credit, avoid that sense that I created.
- 8:28Just avoid that. Feel great about yourself,
- 8:30accomplish, do push development. Has the own event.
- 8:34OK, good. I'll be honest with you.
- 8:36Let's go to the next one that should be your accomplished you
- 8:38get there's a who to do another. One good.
- 8:40SO if you know from our learning over here, I'm a little bit sum
- 8:45light. We I owe our class in the
- 8:47morning about 3 sums. I owe my class my brother from
- 8:51when I volunteer about 3 sums. OK, two or three sums.
- 8:55I'm behind then Sumim. I myself owe myself personally
- 8:58my many Sumim. And the reason I don't do it
- 9:01personally is because I don't like the mode that assume
- 9:05crease. Problem is is that without
- 9:08assume, without that sense of accomplishment, it doesn't push
- 9:12you to go forward. It does.
- 9:14It's really a very, very delicate balance.
- 9:16No sum means a person did not feel good about them.
- 9:19So just appreciate what you're doing.
- 9:21I mean, especially thank I sham of being on your left, but you
- 9:25could appreciate really thought we should have room, but now
- 9:28then very good. It's that balance.
- 9:30It's that towing that line which is you shouldn't be making
- 9:33sumes. You should appreciate and thank
- 9:36our sham for getting to this point and thank your family for
- 9:38giving me the time. Thank you Rabbi, the person you
- 9:41learned with. Be sure to give you the shore.
- 9:44Don't overdo it to the point you shouldn't come a ship.
- 9:48You're opening the door to that arrogant person eventually.
- 9:52Meaning I've I've sat in restaurants with siyums from
- 9:57Syrians to ultra ultra high redeem, right?
- 10:02It's the same item, right, The expensive wine and the thing and
- 10:05the and the steak and the thing and you know, and and then Hazit
- 10:09of a guy who in in the shul and not part of that siyum and he's
- 10:13sitting next to them. That guy leaves the feels like
- 10:16a. Yeah.
- 10:17Well, that patents, you're right.
- 10:19There is something to that point, also called Kinatsovrim
- 10:22is one of the most delicate areas as well.
- 10:25Cannot. So it means we are OK.
- 10:29Literally, it means jealousy of the rabbi's, which means we are
- 10:32OK with a competitive edge existing in the Bama Dash, in
- 10:37the Bama Dash itself, not outside, because it inspires and
- 10:40it pushes. It's a very delicate level, but
- 10:43we're OK with a degree of competitive edge among the Kodal
- 10:48guys, among the boys in the class.
- 10:50Same idea in the shoe. You're OK with this human even
- 10:54though it's going to push or it's going to, you know, maybe
- 10:56make the other people who are not involved in this human feel
- 10:59a bit small. You're somewhat OK with that.
- 11:01But but I'm obviously at the same time we are avoiding
- 11:06arrogance and we are trying to keep away from that sense of my
- 11:10own accomplishment and my own development and I'm the source
- 11:14of it. And because I have it all
- 11:15figured out and I know I work and learn at the same time, when
- 11:19you get down that road, you are running the risk, and I've seen
- 11:22it many times of a degree of arrogance and a degree of self,
- 11:27whatever the word is, believing that you have it all figured
- 11:29out. You want to be in a position and
- 11:32you feel good about what you've done, but you still retain that
- 11:36the credit is not to yourself. Has told your wife, told your
- 11:39children, told your rabbis, told those that came before you, told
- 11:43your parents. Keep it at Bay.
- 11:45And this is delicate balance. And the unique thing, the unique
- 11:57thing about this balance is the fact that we're talking about
- 12:01spiritual areas, and people often think that when you're
- 12:04dealing with misfort and accomplishments in misfort
- 12:06areas, all bets are off. People often believe, sorry, I
- 12:12go take my grandson to school. Good.
- 12:14All right, good. This tool breeds a lot of the
- 12:18stuff we talk about in this. You have to find the good
- 12:20balance. Sure.
- 12:21No. Here's how it goes The.
- 12:22Background or the tweet Daycraft.
- 12:25Here's how it goes here. I'll explain it to you every.
- 12:27Hi Martian, I'll explain it to you.
- 12:29I think every every area of life requires a character reset and
- 12:36character balance. Every area of life.
- 12:38Serenity areas of religion are a little bit of a cover.
- 12:44Saying this as a relative religious person, serenity areas
- 12:47of religion are a cover to allow people to do what they want.
- 12:51So for example, a guy who learns it might be a cover for his
- 12:56Arabs or might be his called cover for a sense of feeling
- 13:00like he's worth more than he's worth.
- 13:02What he has to do is like any other area, certain people out
- 13:06there claim to be Sadiqim because they're very righteous
- 13:09and the way they carry themselves and you and I know
- 13:12they're the opposite of a Sadiq areas of religious.
- 13:15Like anything else, if you have a cover area and allows you to
- 13:19be whatever you want and make it seem like, hey, I'm Mr.
- 13:21Righteous and I'm good to go. The same thing is true with
- 13:24being a learner or a prayer or whatever accomplishment you have
- 13:26or a generous person. They do run the risk of of, of
- 13:31this danger. In all these scenarios, the
- 13:33person has to tell themselves, don't take the credit, don't
- 13:36take the credit, don't accept the accomplishment.
- 13:38Don't think it's you. Don't stop and smell the roses.
- 13:42Don't listen to what they say about you.
- 13:44Don't read the news clips. Don't allow it to reflect
- 13:47yourself because then you're running the risk of destroying
- 13:50your character. Instead, do, do, do, continue to
- 13:54do, continue to accomplish. Yeah, show up in your name on
- 13:57buildings because you have to for your family's sake.
- 13:59But continue to do and do and do and keep pushing.
- 14:03Never stop to reflect because there's a danger in reflecting
- 14:07the same concept you said about. Assume the same concept you
- 14:10could say with any accomplishment.
- 14:12If you reflect and you allow it for you to take credit for your
- 14:15family, there's a danger involved.
- 14:18You would take credit for your accomplishments.
- 14:20There's a risk involved. He's talking about great people,
- 14:22great people, our prophets and our kings, the good ones and
- 14:26still God did not want them to take credit because when you
- 14:30take credit, you're running a great risk.
- 14:32Like I say, the same way you and I recognize when the person
- 14:37accomplished in any area, the ball player, politician, the
- 14:42very successful businessman, he gets off of that speech and a
- 14:45college graduation and he gives that speech.
- 14:48The ones that become the the classic clips are the ones when
- 14:53the guy is humble, when the guy attains his success to other
- 14:57people. The ones that become just
- 14:59another speech are the ones when the guy gives you that hint that
- 15:03he has it all figured out. You're not interested in him
- 15:05because you and I know it doesn't help me and I definitely
- 15:08do not want to follow that person.
- 15:09I don't even want to hear him talk.
- 15:11I don't want to hear a guy get up there and tell you how he
- 15:13figured it out. That's arrogance, that's
- 15:15pompous, that's a sketch, that's a person taking too much credit
- 15:19for something that we know was not him anyhow, all right, He
- 15:23probably built his company from some college, you know, some
- 15:26other person with him in college, and it's a big fraud.
- 15:29Instead, you only want to hear from the people who get up there
- 15:34and they thank the others, right?
- 15:36The press conference at post Olympics when the few guys got
- 15:39up there and all they do is thank each other, right?
- 15:42That press conference went viral because they thanked each other
- 15:46or the certain college graduation speeches that come to
- 15:48my mind. Or the guy got up there, he's
- 15:50CEO of a massive company, and all he did was go low key and
- 15:54all he did was tell the children to give charity, whatever it may
- 15:57be. Those people made it big because
- 16:00they did not take the credit. And God sees the world the exact
- 16:04same way, and he even sees the righteous the same way.
- 16:08You're a righteous person. You're a very charitable person.
- 16:11Hashem says how do you display it?
- 16:13Do you display with banging your chest not interested.
- 16:18Do you display it by thanking your parents for the upbringing?
- 16:22That one I like that one I go with.
- 16:24That's how someone said first I have to realize you and I have
- 16:27to realize don't take credit for anything.
- 16:31Do not allow the credit to sink in.
- 16:33And to your point about accomplishments and dinners and
- 16:38honorees on these different things, you're absolutely right.
- 16:41It's a very dangerous way you can.
- 16:42Understand why go ahead and do it they they need that, but we
- 16:46don't really need it, especially if it's already a guy who's
- 16:51let's say I'm just throwing it as an example.
- 16:53Take school, Ydi. OK.
- 16:56And the guy doesn't need it. If anything, if it could only be
- 17:01a detriment to his character. And it's using like the face of
- 17:07face of religion to do it. So right.
- 17:10The guy works so hard. Yeah, now guy gets down.
- 17:16Maybe he has some attitude, maybe with his wife, maybe with
- 17:19his kids, maybe with his partners.
- 17:21It. It's just the gateway.
- 17:22I'm not saying it does for sure, but but at least talking now at
- 17:27the end of the book, I know at the end of the book is is really
- 17:29old. He's the hardest over here, but
- 17:31it's all that is. This is the real stuff.
- 17:34Right, right. You know.
- 17:34What I mean, so because of where it's in the book, it just to me
- 17:39it it's screening out like what are we doing?
- 17:42So you'll see, we'll see even more examples of this concept.
- 17:45And you're right, in our areas of greatness, which means in our
- 17:49areas of Torah, in our schools, the schools in these different
- 17:53areas, in our great people, that way you run the risk of these
- 17:57sort of things being torn under the carpet, which means you can
- 18:00have a major event of the major honoree, which basically screams
- 18:05spotlight, spotlight, spotlight. It also screams gava, gava,
- 18:10gava. Maybe they're trying to scream
- 18:12money, money, money, money, whatever it may be, right?
- 18:15Well. It gives a donation of $100,000
- 18:17something like that. Right, because they've given big
- 18:19number by an aliyah where maybe you don't have to give up by the
- 18:22aliyah, they could do by the scenes.
- 18:24All these things are delicate areas where only the great
- 18:27people can identify how this can be seemingly a great scene, but
- 18:33it's actually extremely flawed scene.
- 18:35At the same time, institutions need money and certain people
- 18:39also do need to be appreciated and they need to have a sense of
- 18:43accomplishment. Why?
- 18:43In fact, I told someone recently was very involved in the
- 18:46organization. I told them I said don't over
- 18:50Sadiq yourself, which means don't over behind the scenes.
- 18:54What's wrong with that? Behind the scenes is great, I
- 18:57said because you're going to not really get proper recognition
- 19:00and you can hate it. You're not going to feel good
- 19:02about yourself. Hey, you are you put a ton of
- 19:04money into this organization. You put a ton of effort and
- 19:06they're going to talk to you like you talk to the next guy
- 19:09and you are the next guy. You did too much to deserve this
- 19:12and you're not going to feel good about it either.
- 19:14You have to find about it. You have to be real with
- 19:15yourself when it comes to these areas as well.
- 19:18Credit is necessary, assumed is necessary, an accomplishment.
- 19:22Being recognized is important, but don't allow yourself to go
- 19:27over the line and go overboard and let it reflect yourself.
- 19:31This is a balance. It's a very significant balance.
- 19:33The ballplayer shouldn't feel good.
- 19:35He shouldn't jump up and down. He should jump onto the pile.
- 19:38He should feel like he accomplished, but he shouldn't
- 19:40get up by the press conference talk all about himself.
- 19:42The rabbi should feel good about the effort he put in to learn,
- 19:45but he shouldn't get up by the assume and explain.
- 19:48His way of doing things shouldn't do that either, right?
- 19:51The successful businessman should get up there and maybe be
- 19:55honored if the school needs it, the school needs it, or his
- 19:57family needs. It so we need leadership and
- 19:59mentors. You need this balance.
- 20:01Yeah, you do. But when they speak, they speak
- 20:04humbly. Maybe they should be honored and
- 20:06dedicate the entire speech to those who deserve it.
- 20:09So they got both. They have the credit and then
- 20:12they have provided credit to others.
- 20:14Or it can happen internally, let's say you said in a little
- 20:17organization, right? So there's all those others that
- 20:19run the organization with him, right, But why does it have to
- 20:24be like a gala, like Thai events?
- 20:26All right, and I wouldn't think there's anything wrong with it.
- 20:28I'm just saying it's just very confusing that now take.
- 20:33So I understand why a child right, needs to be Oh, right,
- 20:38because child right. Then as you become an adult and
- 20:41let's say if you're a simple person, I'm A, it's whatever it
- 20:45is, I understand because you're looking to, let's say what Haba
- 20:48does get you from from point A to point B.
- 20:51But now we have an accomplished person who was considered
- 20:55community leader, correct? Why are we continuing to treat
- 21:00him like a 2 year old? Good.
- 21:01So there are many reasons why. Fair question.
- 21:05First of all, to your point about like the kid is that I'm
- 21:08bomb, which I was told recently I never saw before, and I'm
- 21:13bombing produce Mishayot in the back of my circus.
- 21:15And Nadine, he writes, the way you get children to learn and to
- 21:20grow is give them candies. And then he says when they get
- 21:23tired of that, give them toys. When they get tired of that,
- 21:25give them designer clothing. And he talks about different
- 21:28ages and then they give them gifts.
- 21:29And then he says and then promise them that they're going
- 21:32to get covered if they learn. And they do, which means he goes
- 21:36old and old. And eventually, to your point
- 21:38exactly, eventually all that is supposed to drop and the person
- 21:42supposed to do it for the regular sake.
- 21:44Problem is, the problem is you live in a world, in a community
- 21:48where there's a lot of talk, there's a lot of hype, there's a
- 21:52lot of big people. And if you're a big deal not
- 21:56being treated like a big person, if you're a guy who is
- 21:58supporting so many institutions and you're not treated like
- 22:02that, then it's hurts. And then you feel small and the
- 22:05wife doesn't understand and the family doesn't understand and
- 22:08all that stuff happens. And the person therefore finds
- 22:11themselves being put, needing to be put on the pedestal, even
- 22:15though they're really a simple minded guy and they like someone
- 22:19minded because they need, they don't feel it's fair.
- 22:22And so and so is getting all that credit while I'm doing all
- 22:25the work and I'm doing I'm, I'm doing so much, I'm not getting
- 22:27treated that way. That's the risk that we run.
- 22:30And that's what happens in our mind.
- 22:32You want to be a perfect person or a growing person, try to
- 22:35diminish the credit. The problem is people have a
- 22:38hard time doing so when they see everyone else getting that
- 22:40credit. And we lived in a perfect world.
- 22:42We cut it out. But we don't that be my simple
- 22:45answer to you. That's a reality.
- 22:46You're right. It should only be for the
- 22:48children. You know, like my son.
- 22:50Give you example. My son was struggling in his
- 22:52tests. One of the sons, one of the
- 22:53sons. So my wife studied with him like
- 22:55crazy. And he came on me as 2 days ago
- 22:58with the with the score he never got before.
- 23:01I don't know how the rabbi gave his number a crazy high score.
- 23:04Thank God. OK, it's first time crazy high
- 23:08150 for a test. It's a joke.
- 23:10So how do I have again, why is his number?
- 23:14So my wife started to call him, but he he's you know, right,
- 23:17exactly. He's in 32nd grade, 3rd grade.
- 23:20So I have calls him now he has a name for him.
- 23:22She calls him 150 and she calls him 150.
- 23:27Now I have a machine 150 right now.
- 23:30So I said, you know, I just said you're doing that to give him
- 23:33Kizuk to make him feel like a big deal.
- 23:35He's a 150. When a guy gets up and gives
- 23:38$150,000 and we would call that guy 150, we're in big trouble.
- 23:41All right, all right. And we make a big deal about
- 23:44people to that degree, we're in very big trouble.
- 23:46We do it, however, and that's a problem.
- 23:48But the reason we have this problem is because we're in a
- 23:51world and a community and the people with credit became part
- 23:55of the structure and we need to diminish that.
- 23:57The problem is, if so and so gets credit, how can I not?
- 24:01If no one gets credit, great. But if they get credit and
- 24:04they're made into a big deal and I'm doing all the work, doesn't
- 24:06feel right. My wife's not happy.
- 24:08I'm not happy the whole thing. And that's the issue that we
- 24:10face. But he's telling you in this
- 24:13book, if you want to retain humility, do not be so dependent
- 24:18on credit. Don't expect every time you make
- 24:21a match for I want to be talking about you.
- 24:23Don't expect every time they give a donation for you to be
- 24:26considered the most important person or you build an
- 24:28organization. You sit down to learn, you do
- 24:31something right. You help a family, you give
- 24:33someone advice. Don't expect for all those
- 24:37scenarios for you to be thanked and be credited, et cetera.
- 24:41You go down that road in your mind.
- 24:42You'll always be angry, by the way, and you'll always be very
- 24:45arrogant. Instead, in every significant
- 24:49moment in your life, you turn and you thank your parents, your
- 24:53children, your wife, your friends, your rabbis who was
- 24:57involved. You keep talking the credit up
- 24:59to them, and you remain the same guy in a beautiful person.
- 25:03Stop with this.
