The Ghost at the Post Office
I was working for the Postal Service in California as an Express Mail courier. I drove a staff car, delivering and picking up Express Mail every day. My route took me through Fresno, Madera, Chowchilla, Los Banos, Santa Rita, Dos Palos, Firebaugh, Mendota, and Kerman before I returned to Madera and Fresno. It was more than 200 miles of driving every day, and I loved it.
