Welcome to Nate's Daily Wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This Nate's Daily Wager for
• 0:26
April 17th, 2024. Let me first get out of this.
• 0:31
Out of the way. Sorry, I forgot to give a shout
• 0:34
out to my little nephew Owen yesterday.
• 0:39
I think you're turning 11. Yeah, that sounds right.
• 0:43
Happy birthday, little guy. Sorry I forgot to give you a
• 0:46
  shout out yesterday. My bad.
• 0:50
  I suck. But you're cool.
• 0:53
So I hope you had a good day. I hope you got lots of cake, ice
• 0:58
cream, all the good things you wanted.
• 1:01
I at least did send you some presents, so that's positive.
• 1:04
So, all right, Speaking of presents, didn't get one Last
• 1:09
night. My hockey kind of fell through,
• 1:13
which is not unexpected given that I don't know nothing about
• 1:16
no hockey. So, all right, let's switch back
• 1:19
over to a game. I claim to know the basketball.
• 1:23
Tonight we got the playing games, the for the Eastern
• 1:27
Conference and I'm looking at this Miami, Philadelphia game
• 1:34
now. Once it gets to the playoffs, I
• 1:37
like riding Miami. However, this isn't with Miami
• 1:42
all the way with their backs against the wall.
• 1:45
So I'm not quite on Miami yet. They're going to lose tonight.
• 1:50
That's my feeling, and in fact, I think they're just kind of
• 1:53
  going to halfway walkthrough tonight.
• 1:58
They're not even really going to give up much of an effort.
• 2:00
In fact, I think they might even get blown out badly.
• 2:03
So I'm going to take the 76ers and give up the points.
• 2:08
  So we're going to take Philadelphia 76ers -5 1/2
• 2:13
against Miami and tonight's NBA Eastern Conference playing
• 2:19
  tournament. Basketball Action is anything
• 2:21
  better than that. Pound it.
• 2:23
That's my pick, and I'm sticking to it.
• 2:35
