- 2:03Speaker 2: We are now back today to talk about episode six. Now, yeah, damn,
- 2:08Speaker 2: we're moving fast. Episode six of Agatha All Along title
- 2:13Speaker 2: familiar by my side right the next part of the
- 2:19Speaker 2: Witch is road Sonic, Limerick, whatever you want to call it.
- 2:25Speaker 2: My god. Today this episode four shop for Shop Poor,
- 2:31Speaker 2: shop for the way. I was screaming like I was
- 2:35Speaker 2: watching an episode of Housewives or something like I was
- 2:39Speaker 2: so into this damn episode. I I okay, I'm trying
- 2:44Speaker 2: to contain myself. How do you feel about this episode?
- 2:48Speaker 4: I I appreciated how I did not know where I was.
- 2:55Speaker 4: I was getting thrown. At one point, I.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Was like, oh, it's their story, and another I was like,
- 3:02Speaker 2: oh no, no, no, no, no, no, somebody whose story
- 3:11Speaker 2: is it? Porscha, it's real story. Oh. I didn't think
- 3:15Speaker 2: he was gonna say that. I did not. Oh okay, okay,
- 3:19Speaker 2: see now you're challenging me already. We just that is
- 3:21Speaker 2: three minutes in. Wait a minute, Wait a minute, Wait
- 3:24Speaker 2: a minute, Wait a minute. I didn't think he was
- 3:26Speaker 2: gonna say that. Okay, well wait, how do we Okay, wait,
- 3:29Speaker 2: we'll get there, We'll get there. Okay, okay, okay, okay.
- 3:33Speaker 2: First of all, First of all, the level of tea
- 3:36Speaker 2: in this episode. They spilled, Oh my god, this whole episode. See,
- 3:44Speaker 2: I thought you was gonna say this was all about
- 3:46Speaker 2: Billy slash William. Okay, I thought you said it was
- 3:48Speaker 2: his story. That's why I thought you was going Much
- 3:52Speaker 2: like the episode did for me, they threw me for
- 3:54Speaker 2: a loop. What we got to see this episode was
- 3:57Speaker 2: really what we all been suspecting the entire time when
- 4:01Speaker 2: we were like, who is this nigga? When we were
- 4:04Speaker 2: talking about this teen character, right, who is he really?
- 4:08Speaker 2: What is his real motives? Why is he really here?
- 4:10Speaker 2: We knew that he was playing games from the beginning.
- 4:13Speaker 2: We knew we didn't trust him from the beginning, and
- 4:16Speaker 2: that there was there was something else afoot, right, So
- 4:20Speaker 2: this episode pretty much tells you the beginning of his
- 4:25Speaker 2: origin in a way, or second origin, and really how
- 4:28Speaker 2: they came upon the road, how he came upon Agatha,
- 4:31Speaker 2: and everything that has happened thus far. We have already
- 4:36Speaker 2: explained in many, many times over in a few episodes
- 4:39Speaker 2: about who Billy Kaplan slash Billy Maximov slash Wicked is.
- 4:45Speaker 2: You did see in the previous episode that he revealed himself,
- 4:48Speaker 2: at least from a power's perspective. He revealed that he is,
- 4:51Speaker 2: in fact something else. He's more than me siye a transformer,
- 4:55Speaker 2: if you will. I also realized that they have been
- 5:02Speaker 2: lying to us since the beginning of this series about
- 5:06Speaker 2: his position in the world and his position within this
- 5:09Speaker 2: coven and all of this stuff. And now I'm kind
- 5:13Speaker 2: of starting to we'll get there. Like you said, I'm
- 5:15Speaker 2: starting to understand why you're saying, this is real story.
- 5:17Speaker 2: But where do you want to start the beginning?
- 5:25Speaker 4: It has to be because, like, first off, let's talk
- 5:29Speaker 4: about the way that the episode description was like vague
- 5:31Speaker 4: enough that was like like the team like it was
- 5:34Speaker 4: it was telling, but it wasn't telling.
- 5:36Speaker 2: It was like I just remember, I don't remember it
- 5:40Speaker 2: word for word. I just remember that it.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Was basically like and we get the teens tell basically,
- 5:44Speaker 4: but it and it.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Honestly, what this whole.
- 5:50Speaker 4: First act of this episode gave is that we should
- 5:56Speaker 4: have taken from the hint that the kid was given
- 6:01Speaker 4: the Moniker teen that perhaps this may all be a
- 6:06Speaker 4: teenya story because you know, mysterious, tragic parent like thing.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Then he is like it all happens whenever he goes
- 6:17Speaker 4: into puberty, and then like you know, the big you know,
- 6:21Speaker 4: barments of a scene and like you know, actually claiming
- 6:24Speaker 4: manhood and then of course that's when everything is disrupted
- 6:28Speaker 4: and all this stuff. Like it's like, oh, is this
- 6:30Speaker 4: supposed to be the main character is the teenager? It's
- 6:36Speaker 4: his world, it's his story. We've been centering it on Agatha,
- 6:39Speaker 4: but it's been the teen all along. And once you
- 6:43Speaker 4: get past that first sect, you're.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Like, oh, actually, yeah, there's more and it's making sense
- 6:50Speaker 2: right a lot of the things, Like I said, I
- 6:51Speaker 2: just feel like it's been We've been lied to in
- 6:53Speaker 2: the beginning. But it's a good lie.
- 6:54Speaker 1: You know.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Sometimes you be getting into these series and they present
- 6:59Speaker 2: one thing and then you start digging in. You're like,
- 7:01Speaker 2: this is this is not where I want to see.
- 7:03Speaker 4: If this is, you're a bull, And then the matter
- 7:06Speaker 4: door and you're.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Like, right, right, no, this has been a pleasant surprise.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Agatha all along, and maybe it's it's Billy all along
- 7:15Speaker 2: the Maximov's all along because and and and it's so
- 7:20Speaker 2: funny to me throughout everything, how much and especially this episode,
- 7:25Speaker 2: how much Agatha clocks that family, like, of course this
- 7:30Speaker 2: is dramatic. Of course we're doing all this stuff. You
- 7:33Speaker 2: are true Maximov. That is y'all em that's how y'all move.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Like everything about this is extra and dramatic as fuck.
- 7:40Speaker 2: And it plays well. It plays well obviously as a show,
- 7:44Speaker 2: but also plays well with Agatha as a character right
- 7:48Speaker 2: and how extra herself she is, but also the nemesis
- 7:51Speaker 2: relationship that she probably will forever have with anything named Maximov.
- 7:58Speaker 2: I just it was just such the delicious TV. I
- 8:02Speaker 2: enjoyed that going from the beginning. I will say like,
- 8:06Speaker 2: first of all, they did pretty much like comic book
- 8:09Speaker 2: accurate for those who are like very comic book guy
- 8:12Speaker 2: about this. These Marvel shows and films and things like that,
- 8:15Speaker 2: they are, they're fairly comic book accurate, at least when
- 8:18Speaker 2: it comes to the origins of who Billy Kaplan is
- 8:21Speaker 2: William Kaplan depending on you know, which this is one
- 8:25Speaker 2: and the same, but in the comics at least one
- 8:29Speaker 2: of the versions of him, like he is a young boy,
- 8:33Speaker 2: he is his parents are what they call reform Jews,
- 8:37Speaker 2: so like liberal Jewish people, and they obviously you saw
- 8:43Speaker 2: all of that in the very beginning. I actually thought
- 8:45Speaker 2: that was really beautiful. I like when shows show like
- 8:49Speaker 2: the religious and the cultural and ethic aspects of like
- 8:53Speaker 2: different characters. And also when it's like you can see
- 8:56Speaker 2: that it involves a lot the community too, right, because
- 8:59Speaker 2: if you saw the image when they were was at
- 9:03Speaker 2: their temple or whatever, when they were doing his rights
- 9:06Speaker 2: and he was speaking of people, you saw all the
- 9:08Speaker 2: different types of people that were there, right, Like all
- 9:10Speaker 2: the different people of different backgrounds and and and and everything, right,
- 9:14Speaker 2: And I thought that was really cool to see. And
- 9:16Speaker 2: then leading into the bar mitzvah, which I've never been
- 9:19Speaker 2: to one. I don't know if you have. So besides,
- 9:22Speaker 2: like TV. I never really known what goes on there,
- 9:24Speaker 2: but you know it's to your point, it is a
- 9:26Speaker 2: celebration of you know, like a coming of age celebration, right,
- 9:31Speaker 2: and it is performed when the boy turns thirteen.
- 9:35Speaker 4: Yeah, girls getting botment.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Girls get boss. Right. So just to see that, like,
- 9:41Speaker 2: you know, it's it's it's it's a it has a
- 9:43Speaker 2: very serious religious part, but then also it's very celebratory.
- 9:46Speaker 2: And then again you saw all his friends, all different
- 9:49Speaker 2: walks of life, people just there to just celebrate his
- 9:52Speaker 2: his energy and all that stuff. And then his parents
- 9:54Speaker 2: just being so loving and supporting. Like I really like
- 9:57Speaker 2: that as well. I just thought that was just a
- 9:59Speaker 2: beautiful like rendition to again the comic book story and
- 10:04Speaker 2: then to actually see that played out in live action.
- 10:07Speaker 4: Yeah, and it's really fun too that like they this
- 10:10Speaker 4: were this is a moment where they were not only
- 10:13Speaker 4: getting us a glimpse of like little did we know
- 10:17Speaker 4: the like the one time weren't need a glimpse at
- 10:20Speaker 4: the Billy like William Kaplan before Billy that we're gonna get,
- 10:25Speaker 4: but also like a glimpse into the mystery of like
- 10:29Speaker 4: teen and so like they took a moment so like
- 10:33Speaker 4: on the programs it says like and I like from
- 10:37Speaker 4: my like people who've told me, like Jewish friends throughout
- 10:41Speaker 4: the time, you told me about like how they had
- 10:43Speaker 4: their about baromvas, how they like have.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Themes, and it's just like the theme for his.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Botvitzvah bar Mitzvah was the magic magic magic of William
- 10:55Speaker 4: Kaplan And yeah, and then we see his room and
- 11:00Speaker 4: we see that like this is all like working to
- 11:03Speaker 4: the benefit of Billy, that William was already into magic
- 11:11Speaker 4: and stuff, and so I really like appreciated that, like
- 11:15Speaker 4: it was like it wasn't just like oh, it just
- 11:17Speaker 4: so happens that like he stumbled into this life and
- 11:20Speaker 4: then he like kind of took over like it was
- 11:22Speaker 4: actually interrelated. And I like that there's like hints of
- 11:27Speaker 4: that through that, and now like the program is there also, Yeah,
- 11:31Speaker 4: I was I remember trying to get into like we
- 11:33Speaker 4: were sitting there last week trying to get into a
- 11:35Speaker 4: mystery or in a couple of the past couple of weeks,
- 11:37Speaker 4: trying to get to the mystery of teen be like
- 11:39Speaker 4: I see from a different timeline is he like what
- 11:42Speaker 4: is actually And it was like how did a ten
- 11:45Speaker 4: year old, like for that math to make sense for
- 11:48Speaker 4: him to have like has awful happened to him at thirteen?
- 11:52Speaker 2: And like he was ten when we last saw him.
- 11:54Speaker 2: So what happened is.
- 11:55Speaker 4: Like, oh, like all the curtains are coming uncovered and
- 11:59Speaker 4: now we're getting in exactly.
- 12:01Speaker 2: The Internet was saying things like, oh, the twins Billy
- 12:04Speaker 2: and Tommy were secretly aged up during that period where
- 12:08Speaker 2: the hex was was collapsing and all that stuff, And
- 12:10Speaker 2: I'm just like, no, this is an easier this is
- 12:12Speaker 2: an easier explanation, right, like and and that's also within
- 12:16Speaker 2: the comic books, like it's several different stories about what
- 12:19Speaker 2: Billy and Tommy actually are. They could be pieces of
- 12:21Speaker 2: Mephistos energy or being right, they could just be things
- 12:25Speaker 2: that want to contured up with her reality bending powers.
- 12:28Speaker 2: They could be anything right and and and and and
- 12:31Speaker 2: essentially at the end of the day, they're just manifestations
- 12:34Speaker 2: of energy, right and once they were, aren't we all right?
- 12:39Speaker 2: We're all made of stars all that stuff. Okay. Anyway,
- 12:42Speaker 2: as as we know from Wanda Vision, once the hecks
- 12:45Speaker 2: collapsed or was done away with everything that want to create,
- 12:49Speaker 2: it was also I guess released if you will. So
- 12:54Speaker 2: the energies of what made Billy and Tommy were released.
- 12:57Speaker 2: But apparently they're they're they're beings right, so and being
- 13:02Speaker 2: of Wanda, they have powers. So what Agatha also alludes
- 13:07Speaker 2: to at the end of this episode is just like
- 13:09Speaker 2: you know, well, one that and this is where I'm
- 13:12Speaker 2: just like, okay, this is wild metaphysical where I'm just
- 13:14Speaker 2: like this this energy being that is Billy like has
- 13:19Speaker 2: you know, obviously has thought, has free will and all
- 13:22Speaker 2: this other stuff. But even at ten understood and I
- 13:25Speaker 2: don't know if this was an it just happened this way,
- 13:28Speaker 2: was happenstance or he knowingly saw this body right, had
- 13:36Speaker 2: this opportunity and jumped in, Right. That's where I get
- 13:40Speaker 2: like it could be and you could this could be
- 13:42Speaker 2: interpreted in many diferent ways. To me, I think you
- 13:44Speaker 2: could go down the lane that you're going, which is like,
- 13:46Speaker 2: you know, well, this this Billy Kaplan character is someone
- 13:51Speaker 2: who was close enough aligned to Billy that it was
- 13:54Speaker 2: just kind of like a perfect vessel, right, And then
- 13:57Speaker 2: you could also say, well, just so happened that with
- 14:00Speaker 2: this accident happening right in from Eastvield, right next to
- 14:04Speaker 2: West View and it just so happened at the same
- 14:07Speaker 2: time that Billy got released, his spirit got released. And
- 14:09Speaker 2: it's just like I'm flowing into Etha. I need something
- 14:13Speaker 2: to anchor myself. There go right, fresh body, as Agatha said,
- 14:17Speaker 2: So it could go a few different ways. I think
- 14:22Speaker 2: it's open for interpretation. You let me know you feel differently,
- 14:24Speaker 2: but I think it might be open.
- 14:26Speaker 4: I feel like with Witchcraft, nothing is a coincidence. M
- 14:31Speaker 4: and the the fact that William just so happened to
- 14:44Speaker 4: peace out right.
- 14:47Speaker 2: To unlive himself as.
- 14:51Speaker 4: His parents is.
- 14:52Speaker 2: He didn't really unlive himself, but he was un alive Jesus,
- 14:57Speaker 2: not by his own hand. But yeah, and I like
- 15:00Speaker 2: and honestly the hexts.
- 15:03Speaker 4: Like the compulsion and like the like actually coming up,
- 15:06Speaker 4: like the hexts, like the compulsion of the hex like,
- 15:10Speaker 4: like what's it like to keep it?
- 15:12Speaker 2: To keep itself alive? You mean, everything related to the
- 15:14Speaker 2: hext is just like I want to survive. And the
- 15:17Speaker 2: boys are related to the hex. The boys are hex.
- 15:20Speaker 4: Is Wanda's hexts. I think that no matter what she
- 15:23Speaker 4: has her mother's like love or whatever related so like,
- 15:29Speaker 4: no matter what, and so I think that's what I'm
- 15:33Speaker 4: it's funny to me, and we're gonna get I.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Don't want to get there before we want to get there.
- 15:38Speaker 4: But I think when Ralph says they disappeared, I think
- 15:43Speaker 4: they got sucked into the hexts.
- 15:44Speaker 2: I'm like, I feel like that's most of the fan
- 15:46Speaker 2: theories of what happened to Yeah, Like we was like,
- 15:49Speaker 2: we don't know, they must have got sucked up because
- 15:52Speaker 2: what else because there's no explanation is the other explanation.
- 15:55Speaker 2: But that's also good outs for writers because you can
- 15:58Speaker 2: then say anything right, you can say well, actually you
- 16:01Speaker 2: know you can, you can reccon it a lot, right,
- 16:04Speaker 2: and and really be able to play around with the
- 16:07Speaker 2: story and characterization. So I mean it's a it's a
- 16:10Speaker 2: smart open door if nothing else.
- 16:13Speaker 4: And it's like a I don't know if the writers
- 16:17Speaker 4: of one division or like, let's do a layup.
- 16:19Speaker 2: I think it's very.
- 16:20Speaker 4: Smart that the I get that all along writers were like,
- 16:23Speaker 4: let's take some of the things that we can play
- 16:26Speaker 4: around with and then like utilize.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Them and the where we want to. From what I understand,
- 16:30Speaker 2: at least in the past with different Marvel projects, like
- 16:33Speaker 2: they don't know what the others are doing because it's
- 16:36Speaker 2: everything so secretive. So if again, that could have been
- 16:39Speaker 2: a coincidental layup. But I don't know for sure. But
- 16:42Speaker 2: but from what I've understood, at least up until this point,
- 16:45Speaker 2: like besides the overall MCU you know, like where's the
- 16:50Speaker 2: story going, like per Kevin Fahey, Like these these individual
- 16:55Speaker 2: TV shows and things like that don't necessarily are doing
- 16:58Speaker 2: things specifically so they work for the next show, right, Like, yeah,
- 17:02Speaker 2: it may work in an overall timeline of things, but
- 17:04Speaker 2: like for this particular show, Like I don't know if
- 17:06Speaker 2: that's the case, but either way it worked. It's very
- 17:10Speaker 2: good writing back of it all along is that girl
- 17:13Speaker 2: out of all? I mean, I has been I have
- 17:15Speaker 2: been very upset with Marvel for a while now. I
- 17:19Speaker 2: think it's like going on a cool two years just
- 17:21Speaker 2: in terms of getting substance and shows that I cared
- 17:26Speaker 2: about or shows that were just fun. We went through
- 17:29Speaker 2: a try try period.
- 17:32Speaker 4: Over here singing Beyonce Love Drought.
- 17:36Speaker 2: We was it was dry in Disney plus MCU land
- 17:41Speaker 2: when it came to these shows and all this stuff
- 17:43Speaker 2: was just so boring, like everything was boring and there
- 17:48Speaker 2: was something that there was something wrong, like whether it
- 17:50Speaker 2: was the CGI or they decided to put AI into things.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Why would you do that? I'm looking at you what
- 17:56Speaker 2: the Samuel Old Jackson show like I'm looking.
- 17:59Speaker 4: At you the latest ant Man with what they did
- 18:02Speaker 4: with Modoc.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Listen, I didn't I ain't see that, so I didn't.
- 18:07Speaker 2: I don't know, but I'm not gonna talk about things
- 18:09Speaker 2: I ain't see. But all I'm saying is, and I
- 18:12Speaker 2: know the sentiment has been shared across the fandom, just
- 18:15Speaker 2: like we just we have not seen anything that was
- 18:19Speaker 2: really piquing our interests and we and we was bored.
- 18:22Speaker 2: It wasn't giving. We were like, what are y'all finna do?
- 18:25Speaker 2: And now we're here. I wanted to jump in to
- 18:29Speaker 2: what you were saying about what we get to see
- 18:32Speaker 2: about William right, and and this is before he and
- 18:37Speaker 2: people William William I'm calling Billy Billy thank you. Same
- 18:40Speaker 2: here William Kaplan and Billy Maximoff. I'm gonna be very
- 18:44Speaker 2: particular and distinct and in the time of William Kaplan
- 18:49Speaker 2: w k all right, very interestingly his background, I feel
- 18:55Speaker 2: the road is completely a characterization of him. And this
- 18:59Speaker 2: was That's why I thought in the beginning of this
- 19:02Speaker 2: of our podcast, you were gonna say the story was
- 19:04Speaker 2: about him, because as we see in the end credits,
- 19:07Speaker 2: as we see in everything that happens in every episode,
- 19:11Speaker 2: you know, up until this point, as we see in
- 19:13Speaker 2: how people act and all the references being made the
- 19:16Speaker 2: Easter eggs, everything relates back to Williams's personality when we
- 19:23Speaker 2: first go into his room, when he first goes into
- 19:25Speaker 2: that room, Billy first goes into William's room. You see
- 19:29Speaker 2: the Wizard of Oz poster. You see the Houdini posters.
- 19:33Speaker 2: You mentioned him like a magic right, So you see
- 19:35Speaker 2: a lot of those things in card tricks and things
- 19:37Speaker 2: like that. You see one of those say that again,
- 19:41Speaker 2: Mystic Rock poster, Mystic Rock, Okay, whatever that is. You
- 19:46Speaker 2: see the band, oh, whatever that is. You see some
- 19:51Speaker 2: eighties posters I called the Goofball some eighties movie. I guess.
- 19:55Speaker 2: I guess it's in the vein, Like I don't know
- 19:57Speaker 2: that movie, but I guess. But you know, it's like
- 19:58Speaker 2: when I'm thinking of things like that, think of like
- 20:00Speaker 2: goonies and stuff like that. So what else you saw,
- 20:04Speaker 2: Alice in Wonderland? You saw every all of those things
- 20:08Speaker 2: that they have literally touched upon reference did on the
- 20:13Speaker 2: road thus far. That's why I'm like every this entire
- 20:17Speaker 2: journey has been a manifestation of William Kaplan's mind, which
- 20:21Speaker 2: for a minute I was just like, bro, we are
- 20:23Speaker 2: we in his hex? I got nervous. I got nervous, like,
- 20:27Speaker 2: wait a minute, are we on d road? Foot pond
- 20:30Speaker 2: D or foot pond William Kaplan's mind? Which one is it?
- 20:34Speaker 2: Or it's both? Is it Uchi? Wally? Is it one? Mic?
- 20:41Speaker 4: It can't be both?
- 20:43Speaker 2: I mean it could be both, which, as you said,
- 20:45Speaker 2: we're doing with witchcraft and magic here, it could be both.
- 20:48Speaker 2: This this stuff is very unexplainable and very un under
- 20:52Speaker 2: I don't want to say unattainable, but it's hard to
- 20:54Speaker 2: understand from a regular like three D mind, right when
- 20:57Speaker 2: you don't live in a forty five D Uni verse,
- 21:00Speaker 2: you know you don't. I can't necessarily comprehend what how
- 21:05Speaker 2: that could be? But yes, it could be both. I
- 21:08Speaker 2: just thought though that that was just like it was
- 21:10Speaker 2: just so cool. And again when we talk about good writing,
- 21:14Speaker 2: how everything is connected and everything leads up and everything
- 21:17Speaker 2: has a reason. When we yell out what was the reason,
- 21:21Speaker 2: these are the reasons and if you pay attention. The
- 21:25Speaker 2: answers are given to you, it just may take a
- 21:29Speaker 2: while for it you to connect it us.
- 21:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I enjoyed that, Like the interconnectedness is like it's
- 21:38Speaker 4: they're not like slowing it down and whatever. I was
- 21:41Speaker 4: like last week and I was like, why did they
- 21:44Speaker 4: do it the reveal this last this episode episode five?
- 21:47Speaker 4: It is like so that we could get this moment
- 21:49Speaker 4: where we're like, this is this is.
- 21:52Speaker 2: And that's why I'm so five or so short because
- 21:53Speaker 2: remember we both talked about how oh it was just abrupt,
- 21:56Speaker 2: like not not in a bad pacing way, just like
- 21:59Speaker 2: we thought it was gonna be long, whereas this episode
- 22:03Speaker 2: was dumb long to really give us the meat. This
- 22:07Speaker 2: was the ps the resistance of at least for as
- 22:10Speaker 2: far as we know of this series so far, because
- 22:13Speaker 2: it could be another one next wee week. Who knows.
- 22:15Speaker 4: Yeah, for me, in the interconnectedness that Inner Wolf like
- 22:18Speaker 4: and I think that's what was in the that was
- 22:20Speaker 4: what was in a description like how does Billy know
- 22:26Speaker 4: the coven?
- 22:26Speaker 2: Like we get to know like his relationship with the coven.
- 22:29Speaker 4: Members and so the way that I was not prepared
- 22:33Speaker 4: but kind of prepared, but like, oh my gosh, like
- 22:35Speaker 4: I should have got been prepared. I was. People walk
- 22:38Speaker 4: into that little tent during his like uh barbar reception,
- 22:43Speaker 4: and who is there but Lily herself and you. That's
- 22:47Speaker 4: when the things start coming together like this lady must
- 22:51Speaker 4: have did the schitule because otherwise she would have remembered him. Yeah,
- 22:55Speaker 4: and then we see that happen, right, And kudos also
- 22:58Speaker 4: to the Internet for saying stuff like when people try
- 23:01Speaker 4: to be like, oh, I Ben knew who Billy was.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Even before, like it was really apparent. And I was
- 23:06Speaker 2: reading and people were like, well, the sigil and I
- 23:08Speaker 2: think that I don't know if this was I mean,
- 23:10Speaker 2: nothing's ever coincidence really right, But they was like, the
- 23:12Speaker 2: sigil looks like a letter m M for Maximov. And
- 23:15Speaker 2: I was just like, maybe you know all that, or
- 23:18Speaker 2: it's just a squiggle, you know, who knows. But Ben,
- 23:21Speaker 2: seeing this episode when Lilia drew it, I was like, Okay,
- 23:26Speaker 2: this is this is very intentional. And but it wasn't
- 23:30Speaker 2: really like it wasn't a letter it was. It was
- 23:32Speaker 2: just it was really what it's supposed to also give
- 23:36Speaker 2: from an art perspective, when you really look at it, Portia,
- 23:39Speaker 2: it gives it gives, It gives em, it gives maxim Off,
- 23:42Speaker 2: it gives the same type of dramatics as the family.
- 23:46Speaker 2: So I was just like got it. But to your
- 23:48Speaker 2: point with it being Lilia that actually cast the sigil,
- 23:54Speaker 2: I thought was incredible. I like I said, I was screaming,
- 23:58Speaker 2: like I was watching the the biggest reality show, Like
- 24:01Speaker 2: I can't believe they reveal that, like.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Her.
- 24:05Speaker 2: I kept also yelling about Billy, didn't I keep yelling
- 24:09Speaker 2: you about that she knows, she knows everything, She knows
- 24:11Speaker 2: stuff she's trying to tell us, but her own psyche
- 24:15Speaker 2: or whatever, it's not letting her or she you know,
- 24:17Speaker 2: like it's just too much going on with her right now.
- 24:19Speaker 2: She's still in the Renaissance period or whatever period she's
- 24:21Speaker 2: stuck in, right for her to not only be at
- 24:24Speaker 2: that party but also tell him and you see the
- 24:28Speaker 2: split in his hand, right, his lifeline split, where like
- 24:31Speaker 2: it's very dramatic and apparent. Again it's two of you,
- 24:35Speaker 2: my guy. We see later in William's room when Billy's
- 24:41Speaker 2: trying to convince himself, yeah, I am gonna be William.
- 24:44Speaker 2: There's two mirrors. There's a large mirror and a small mirror.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Right there, and you see two reflections. You see the
- 24:51Speaker 2: living embodiment of two souls, right, or maybe what should
- 24:55Speaker 2: be two souls? Right, Because as far as I'm concerned,
- 24:58Speaker 2: William Caplan died And if.
- 25:02Speaker 4: They were being melodramatic, they could have played Christina Aguilar's reflection.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Because they're Disney, so they could have they could have
- 25:13Speaker 2: what movie was that from? Oh oh that was Mulan, Okay,
- 25:17Speaker 2: they could have. They could have. I I just again,
- 25:20Speaker 2: I just thought that was so fired. It was done
- 25:22Speaker 2: with the product, with the yes, it was so well done,
- 25:26Speaker 2: with the just prediction of she was and her one
- 25:29Speaker 2: cause you know she sees everything, right, Lilia, she sees everything,
- 25:32Speaker 2: so her getting that big vision, getting the that's whole
- 25:36Speaker 2: raven vision and then basically lying to him saying everything
- 25:40Speaker 2: will be fine, and.
- 25:42Speaker 4: She said, she said, you need to focus on the now,
- 25:46Speaker 4: you because.
- 25:48Speaker 2: You ain't got you got thirty minutes, thirty minutes, thirty
- 25:52Speaker 2: thirty thirty minutes, William, and you.
- 25:58Speaker 4: Can't the way did he deserve that? No?
- 26:03Speaker 2: What kid? What thirteen year old deserves that now? But
- 26:07Speaker 2: it's the way that she was trying to protect him.
- 26:10Speaker 2: And then like again with this idea of Remember before
- 26:14Speaker 2: a few episodes back, you were talking about how when
- 26:16Speaker 2: they were doing the eighties theme, how everybody was kind
- 26:21Speaker 2: of dressed as like kids, you know, on seap Over,
- 26:23Speaker 2: but Lilia was dressed like a mom. From the beginning,
- 26:26Speaker 2: she has been protective as fuck, right, and as we
- 26:29Speaker 2: see now she is she sees the bullshit that's about
- 26:33Speaker 2: to happen, and she wants to protect him immediately, like
- 26:37Speaker 2: the way she springs into action. And it's like, I
- 26:40Speaker 2: don't blame her. I do not blame her for what
- 26:42Speaker 2: she did and for wanting to try to in a
- 26:45Speaker 2: way kind of give him some peace before the inevitable, right.
- 26:50Speaker 4: And I think it was cool that, like he that
- 26:54Speaker 4: was for Lilia.
- 26:56Speaker 2: That's the most put together we've ever seen lilya mostly together. Yes,
- 27:00Speaker 2: her fit was fitting, Yeah, arrangement was doing. I was
- 27:04Speaker 2: like like, and so that made me wonder, like if
- 27:07Speaker 2: part of her psyche and if that was just a facade, right,
- 27:10Speaker 2: Like this is.
- 27:10Speaker 4: Just like she whenever someone's paying her, she can put
- 27:12Speaker 4: it on. She got what she needs to pull out
- 27:14Speaker 4: from the closet, she can get it together. Or if
- 27:18Speaker 4: her subconscious like knew something was is like approaching, and
- 27:25Speaker 4: she kind of like deteriorated what she did her part
- 27:29Speaker 4: in the story.
- 27:30Speaker 3: For that.
- 27:30Speaker 2: She was like, that was when she had to be
- 27:32Speaker 2: at her top most lucid, if you eh, and then
- 27:36Speaker 2: way from there.
- 27:37Speaker 4: Yeah, so that she also she could, like her her
- 27:40Speaker 4: forgetting could be unnoticed in her own mind, like I'm
- 27:47Speaker 4: missing a piece of time.
- 27:48Speaker 2: But like whatever, because she's going through everything else, because
- 27:51Speaker 2: she was still having the flashes. Like she said what
- 27:53Speaker 2: she said the reverse tower right, the tower reverse, the
- 27:56Speaker 2: tower reverse, which in the tarot car read and stuff
- 27:59Speaker 2: in me means a person is resisting personal or transformational change.
- 28:04Speaker 2: The car can indicate a reluctance to accept change or
- 28:07Speaker 2: embrace it willingly. And I don't know if she was
- 28:10Speaker 2: reading her own card or what like, or was she
- 28:13Speaker 2: reading Williams like when like who said she.
- 28:16Speaker 4: Were reading my hand and she said, oh, I just
- 28:19Speaker 4: had another vision, yeah, talking about.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, well the change was coming. But that's why
- 28:27Speaker 2: I say, was she reading herself because she saw the
- 28:30Speaker 2: change coming and to try to be resisting to change.
- 28:32Speaker 2: She was like, I'm gonna place the sigil on him
- 28:34Speaker 2: because so he can't reveal who he's about to be.
- 28:38Speaker 2: I don't know. Maybe maybe not, I could be I
- 28:40Speaker 2: could be reaching. I don't know, but I felt that
- 28:43Speaker 2: and I thought it was funny too. Just like you said,
- 28:46Speaker 2: I didn't understand that about like the bar mitzvahs could
- 28:49Speaker 2: be like themed, right, So I was just like, oh,
- 28:52Speaker 2: just having you know, tarot card readings, they're like or
- 28:56Speaker 2: not what they said? What was what did the science
- 28:58Speaker 2: outside her little tent? It was like fortune teller or
- 28:59Speaker 2: ten Okay. For so I was just like, okay, y'all
- 29:02Speaker 2: just have that at the kids party. But okay, I
- 29:04Speaker 2: guess I guess that's fine. You know, it could be
- 29:07Speaker 2: out of place any other way and any other place.
- 29:10Speaker 2: But it was just interesting. And your point about the
- 29:13Speaker 2: fact that the point you were going to also make,
- 29:16Speaker 2: which was the fact that he knew or saw all
- 29:18Speaker 2: of these people, William slash Billy knew and saw all
- 29:24Speaker 2: of these witches prior to being on the road. William
- 29:27Speaker 2: saw Lilia, Billy did not. Billy did not.
- 29:30Speaker 4: You're right, but everyone else.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Oh that's a good point. So wait, William is the
- 29:38Speaker 2: one who met Lily, right, and then the crash happened,
- 29:42Speaker 2: and then thereafter Billy either, right, So when the crash happened.
- 29:46Speaker 2: He was already right, he switched. That's when Alice who
- 29:50Speaker 2: at the time, and we knew that Alice was a
- 29:51Speaker 2: police officer. Remember we learned.
- 29:54Speaker 4: Foreshadow Foreshadows.
- 29:58Speaker 2: When she was working at Hot Topic. That was first
- 30:00Speaker 2: thing her boss said to her before he fired her.
- 30:02Speaker 2: He was just like, you know, just like how you
- 30:03Speaker 2: got kicked off the forest and come to find out,
- 30:07Speaker 2: come to find out.
- 30:10Speaker 4: This exposition that was for us to come back to here.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Yes, come to find out Alice was there at the
- 30:15Speaker 2: crash site. Then we when do we see the other people?
- 30:19Speaker 2: We even though she it was a YouTube ad, but
- 30:21Speaker 2: we saw gen right and right, and at this point
- 30:27Speaker 2: Billy just mentioning how beautiful her skin is and all
- 30:30Speaker 2: this other stuff. He learns about Agatha through Google searches
- 30:34Speaker 2: and Reddit's and all this other stuff. Again that is
- 30:37Speaker 2: also Billy. He learns about Agatha through Ralph Boner and
- 30:40Speaker 2: then he goog Ralph than that right, which since we
- 30:44Speaker 2: just mentioned his name, can we also I love me
- 30:48Speaker 2: some Evan Peters, I do, I do. I do. I
- 30:51Speaker 2: never said that he ate up being an actor being dramatic.
- 30:56Speaker 2: I love him, I love him. Everybody is chewing the scenery. First,
- 31:00Speaker 2: I've been loving it and I know he's done stuff before,
- 31:02Speaker 2: but I know him from American Horror Story. Okay, that's
- 31:05Speaker 2: when I was first introduced to him. Of the first
- 31:08Speaker 2: was it the first season? The house, the harbor house, whatever,
- 31:12Speaker 2: the murder house, right, murder, murder, a murder or murder.
- 31:16Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I can't help it, but uh, Evan Peters
- 31:20Speaker 2: acted down, act down. And I love that he returned
- 31:25Speaker 2: as is Ralph Bonner character from Wanda Vision. And for
- 31:29Speaker 2: those who don't remember or whatever, he played a fake
- 31:34Speaker 2: Pietro aka Fiatro aka fake Quicksilver, and he was he
- 31:42Speaker 2: was He's actually it was a Westview, a regular Westview
- 31:45Speaker 2: resident that lived next door to the plot that was
- 31:49Speaker 2: or to the house that would become Wanda and Envision's house.
- 31:52Speaker 2: And so when Agatha came along, Agatha moved in next
- 31:56Speaker 2: door to Wanda's house and she basically under her magic,
- 32:01Speaker 2: put Ralph under her spell and was like, Okay, you'll
- 32:04Speaker 2: be my husband, and I'm also going to disguise you.
- 32:07Speaker 2: I'll need you to act like Pietro. Right, and then
- 32:11Speaker 2: when he entered it and this is back and WandaVision
- 32:13Speaker 2: and then he played that role like from a TV
- 32:15Speaker 2: show perspective of the funny, you know, quirky uncle. That
- 32:20Speaker 2: was that's a bad influence on the kids. I love how.
- 32:25Speaker 4: H affected he is is why would he not be?
- 32:30Speaker 4: But like the way that he puts being a bad
- 32:34Speaker 4: influence to Wanda's kids on the same like level of
- 32:38Speaker 4: pain as like killing their dog. I understand remember how
- 32:43Speaker 4: he explained himself. But first of all, I love the
- 32:45Speaker 4: screen name.
- 32:45Speaker 2: He said, are you boner sixty nine boner man sixty
- 32:48Speaker 2: nine reddit name? It was perfect. Yeah, I understand why
- 32:54Speaker 2: everything affect them, he remembered. He prefaced this whole conversation
- 32:58Speaker 2: my saying you could not do or say or be
- 33:02Speaker 2: anything on your own, not a free will. So everything
- 33:07Speaker 2: rightfully affected him. Everything he was not he had no
- 33:10Speaker 2: choice but to do and go along with things. He said.
- 33:14Speaker 2: He was a prisoner of his own self. How fucked
- 33:18Speaker 2: up is that? They Wanda did a number on that man,
- 33:21Speaker 2: as did well really first Agatha but also Wanda, all
- 33:25Speaker 2: them witches did a number on him. Wit. Yes, he
- 33:30Speaker 2: was like, I never had a wish gat me right
- 33:32Speaker 2: in my life, which is probably nothing but like water
- 33:34Speaker 2: and ala vera but and then what was he shaking?
- 33:39Speaker 2: He was shaking like he was sending me with all
- 33:42Speaker 2: of these little trinkets that he swear is gonna keep away,
- 33:44Speaker 2: which is like their vampires number one, but which is
- 33:48Speaker 2: funny to me. Yeah, but I understand why he's so
- 33:51Speaker 2: affected and by everything that happened, because that is another
- 33:55Speaker 2: level of violation that you could a lot of people
- 33:59Speaker 2: just can. I cannot comprehend, right, like to you can't
- 34:03Speaker 2: do or say or feel anything on your own. You
- 34:07Speaker 2: are under complete control of someone else and to someone
- 34:10Speaker 2: else's no goodbye, And it's interesting, Like so just to
- 34:14Speaker 2: backtrack just a bit, because like William, the accident happens,
- 34:18Speaker 2: William comes out of it with powers and amnees your
- 34:21Speaker 2: quote unquote, which is literally he doesn't he can't actually
- 34:24Speaker 2: remember because he's Billy. But also he doesn't really remember
- 34:27Speaker 2: that he's Billy, which was that was a question mark
- 34:29Speaker 2: for me. It's like, how much does he remember of
- 34:31Speaker 2: his actual life? He said he remembers nothing before the crash.
- 34:35Speaker 2: He just remember waking up in a crash, right, which
- 34:39Speaker 2: is why I'm like, William died.
- 34:42Speaker 4: But also Billy, what did Billy remember about being Billy?
- 34:47Speaker 2: Was my question.
- 34:48Speaker 4: But now that was happening, and so he like he
- 34:51Speaker 4: and he wakes up, and this was interesting to me,
- 34:54Speaker 4: is that like this is a Marvel universe where talking
- 35:00Speaker 4: about like people like young people who are manifesting powers
- 35:04Speaker 4: like Miss Marvel and other folks exist and he keeps
- 35:09Speaker 4: his selepathy like a secret from his parents and he
- 35:14Speaker 4: only tells his boyfriend like right whenever they're gonna say
- 35:17Speaker 4: the big I love you. So I wonder like I
- 35:21Speaker 4: get like holding something like that to yourself, because it's
- 35:24Speaker 4: like if people know they might feel like uncomfortable because
- 35:26Speaker 4: you can hear their thoughts, they're ready to look at
- 35:29Speaker 4: him like he's a weirdo, but.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Mostly because he's responding to their thoughts. Well, even beyond that,
- 35:36Speaker 2: just the fact, remember the thoughts he hears are am
- 35:40Speaker 2: I going to get my son back? Is he ever
- 35:43Speaker 2: gonna get his memory back? And never mind responding to thoughts,
- 35:47Speaker 2: even he never responded to the thoughts. He knows what
- 35:49Speaker 2: they're feeling and actually thinking right, well, not let me
- 35:52Speaker 2: not say feeling. He knows what they're thinking, right, which
- 35:55Speaker 2: is who is this nigga? Right? The same thing that
- 35:58Speaker 2: we've been asking since in the beginning of this show,
- 36:00Speaker 2: who is this guy? Really? They said, he is not
- 36:02Speaker 2: the same person he was prior, and they felt like
- 36:06Speaker 2: they lost something. So you feel that, right, And I
- 36:09Speaker 2: can understand him, even he says, he was like, you
- 36:12Speaker 2: know what, I just pretending that I'm back to normal,
- 36:14Speaker 2: because he does. You know, he doesn't. They're already going
- 36:17Speaker 2: through it with him. They just he just he's a
- 36:19Speaker 2: good boy, right, or he tries to be a good boy.
- 36:20Speaker 2: He just wants them to have some type of peace.
- 36:22Speaker 2: But the parents know that they've lost something, something's wrong,
- 36:26Speaker 2: something's missing. So, like like I said, even absence of
- 36:31Speaker 2: you know, hearing people's thoughts and stuff like that, just
- 36:33Speaker 2: you know, you know how these people are actually thinking
- 36:38Speaker 2: of you and you may grow to like or love them,
- 36:42Speaker 2: but you really but you know that that's not your
- 36:44Speaker 2: people's right, So you still feel alone, right, You also
- 36:49Speaker 2: feel like something is also missing as he keeps trying
- 36:52Speaker 2: to determine. I totally understand him not wanting to share
- 36:57Speaker 2: the idea that he has powers. Right, They already think
- 37:00Speaker 2: Key's at least in the beginning. Definitely, they when he
- 37:03Speaker 2: came home, Who is this nigga? He's a weirdo, what's
- 37:07Speaker 2: going on? I don't trust that. I would absolutely understand
- 37:11Speaker 2: that he would tell a boyfriend, right, And remember that
- 37:15Speaker 2: the crash happens when he was thirteen, and then we
- 37:17Speaker 2: jumped to when three years later when he's sixteen. At
- 37:20Speaker 2: the end of the day, a sixteen year old is
- 37:22Speaker 2: going to sixteen year old, Right, You're not necessarily going
- 37:24Speaker 2: to share those things.
- 37:26Speaker 4: I was doing the maths.
- 37:27Speaker 2: Hell, people don't share grown ass and dolts don't be sharing.
- 37:30Speaker 4: So yeah, I was doing the maths and I was like,
- 37:34Speaker 4: I first before, I just feel like I'm little. That
- 37:37Speaker 4: might be a little different because I'm like, I like,
- 37:41Speaker 4: if there's an explanation for my weirdness, I'm going to
- 37:43Speaker 4: tell you. I'm like, oh yeah, on my period, Like
- 37:46Speaker 4: you know what I mean, Like if I'm going if
- 37:48Speaker 4: I'm acting, and I'm like.
- 37:50Speaker 2: But you can't explain that by saying that poor shit,
- 37:53Speaker 2: I mean, for shit, I can hear your thoughts, and
- 37:58Speaker 2: that's why I'm acting. That's why thoughts no poorscha no
- 38:04Speaker 2: no no, no, no, no, okay. And as we see,
- 38:07Speaker 2: as we have been and what what Marvel has been
- 38:10Speaker 2: starting to do, at least in the later shows the movies,
- 38:14Speaker 2: like for obvious reasons, you may not want to tell
- 38:17Speaker 2: people you have powers, right, And also I remember there
- 38:20Speaker 2: are also now that mutants. Now that mutants are now
- 38:23Speaker 2: mcy you can And now we're shifting where it's not
- 38:27Speaker 2: about oh, as a superhero that's accepted, right, Oh that
- 38:30Speaker 2: person is an avenger. Right, these are teenagers and random
- 38:34Speaker 2: people just come out the woodwork saying oh, they have powers. Now,
- 38:37Speaker 2: couple that with with puberty, couple that with personal mental
- 38:43Speaker 2: emotional development, couple that with just humanhood, right, Like it's
- 38:47Speaker 2: it's a lot. And when you wrap it all up
- 38:50Speaker 2: then in the idea of mutants, whereas mutants are not
- 38:53Speaker 2: accepted in many rights, and the idea of when they
- 38:59Speaker 2: say especially we see a lot of next Men where
- 39:00Speaker 2: they say, when you actually reveal it, you're im mutant,
- 39:03Speaker 2: it's akin to coming out right, which is and which
- 39:08Speaker 2: is Also I see the parallel there with like him
- 39:12Speaker 2: being a gay teen and I love that his parents
- 39:14Speaker 2: are so accepting of that. However he won't come out
- 39:17Speaker 2: that he has powers.
- 39:18Speaker 4: Yeah, right, I can only push him so far.
- 39:24Speaker 2: It's it's so interesting. But yeah, I say all that
- 39:26Speaker 2: to say I understand I understand. I'm not saying I
- 39:30Speaker 2: don't understand. I understanding.
- 39:32Speaker 4: I could also see if he was like, I'm also.
- 39:35Speaker 2: Like and this is why and what are they supposed
- 39:37Speaker 2: to do with the information?
- 39:38Speaker 4: Like what do you think I mean?
- 39:40Speaker 2: His parents? Does do feel accepting? Seem accepting? But what
- 39:43Speaker 2: are they supposed to do with that?
- 39:43Speaker 4: Firm move your thoughts accordingly?
- 39:45Speaker 2: If you don't want me to catch Okay, let's let's
- 39:48Speaker 2: play out the scenario. I'm your parent and you've been
- 39:51Speaker 2: acting weird and you come to me and say, Tatiana
- 39:56Speaker 2: or mom, excuse me. I can read your thoughts. What
- 40:01Speaker 2: the fuck am I supposed to do with that information? Like,
- 40:04Speaker 2: now you're gonna hear me saying, oh shit, I need
- 40:07Speaker 2: to hide my thoughts. Oh shit, she heard me say
- 40:09Speaker 2: I need to hide my thoughts. Oh shit? Like you understand? Like,
- 40:13Speaker 2: what how do you negotiate that? If you don't want
- 40:17Speaker 2: me to know? Make sure I don't find that. He
- 40:20Speaker 2: can't control it. I can't control thinking my inner monologue.
- 40:25Speaker 2: Now I gotta be this special Yogi type person that know, Like,
- 40:29Speaker 2: now I gotta wear magneto helmet. Goddamn it, what is
- 40:33Speaker 2: this I gotta put luminum foll on my head? What
- 40:36Speaker 2: is Maybe it's just me.
- 40:38Speaker 4: I would be less creeped out if I felt like
- 40:40Speaker 4: someone kept responding to something before I said it.
- 40:43Speaker 2: Like they're like girls if you knew that they could
- 40:45Speaker 2: reach my mind. It's not even being about creeped out.
- 40:47Speaker 2: How are you supposed to be? How are you supposed
- 40:49Speaker 2: to be? How are you supposed to act? Because that
- 40:51Speaker 2: means everything? And he says that it's only people that
- 40:55Speaker 2: he's really close to slash and when they're having really
- 40:57Speaker 2: intense moments, and when they have really intense moments. Right,
- 41:00Speaker 2: So imagine like my that's my child. I'm having a
- 41:03Speaker 2: tense moment about something I love or hate or or
- 41:06Speaker 2: not hate. But it's like about whatever's going on. Like
- 41:10Speaker 2: my child told me they can read my thoughts. And
- 41:12Speaker 2: here I go just going like I'm not telling my
- 41:20Speaker 2: parents that No, okay, I'm not. I'm I see both
- 41:29Speaker 2: what I'm saying, right right, I'm not discounting your your
- 41:32Speaker 2: point of view. I'm just like girl, you got to
- 41:34Speaker 2: be kidd in me. That's a lot to see a
- 41:36Speaker 2: world where I'm just like girl, sure and sure, sure,
- 41:42Speaker 2: I'm wrapping my head a little morefoil. Yeah, thank you.
- 41:45Speaker 4: I think it's funny that also, like they there's explanations
- 41:49Speaker 4: for everything, of course, but like we saw in the
- 41:53Speaker 4: end credits that like the heck's over Westview is like
- 41:57Speaker 4: that has its own like pages, and we know that
- 41:59Speaker 4: we find as you were saying that, as he's going
- 42:01Speaker 4: an investation, that's all Billy's capturing. So it's called an anomaly.
- 42:08Speaker 2: And the explanation is that the Avengers had a failed
- 42:12Speaker 2: test and that's that pr team and all the time
- 42:15Speaker 2: that's Olivia Polpe baby and.
- 42:19Speaker 4: And Billy calls Eddie his boyfriend, adorably trusting for believing that,
- 42:26Speaker 4: and then he spends that back on.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Too Billy whenever Billy's like, we're going to meet an
- 42:29Speaker 2: extream ten and it's so weird. It's so weird. It's
- 42:34Speaker 2: so like, come on, guy, but y'all are both adorably trusting.
- 42:37Speaker 2: Y'all both adorable, and it's a very teen romance dialogue.
- 42:41Speaker 2: And I'm like, and this is why they're trying to
- 42:43Speaker 2: sell us on right now in this moment that we're
- 42:46Speaker 2: in a teen centered like series or you know what
- 42:51Speaker 2: I mean, Like it's about that teen level of work.
- 42:55Speaker 2: And he's being called teen. This is this is what's
- 42:59Speaker 2: the word.
- 43:00Speaker 4: This is.
- 43:02Speaker 2: Not not the application of but this is he is
- 43:06Speaker 2: the representative of it as yeah yeah, and he's like, yeah,
- 43:12Speaker 2: I just enjoyed that, like they give us. I'm enjoying whatever.
- 43:16Speaker 4: I feel like Wanda vision is very overt and how
- 43:19Speaker 4: you're seeing differences that comes throughout the ages. I feel like,
- 43:22Speaker 4: whereas I get that all along, it starts you off
- 43:25Speaker 4: with the overt, but it actually allows me to see
- 43:28Speaker 4: the subtleties like one like for first act of one episode,
- 43:32Speaker 4: you're gonna get a teen TV drama for another episode,
- 43:35Speaker 4: like part of that episode. It's not all gonna be
- 43:38Speaker 4: one note of a sitcom or era or genre or whatever.
- 43:43Speaker 2: It's gonna be a little bit of everything. I would
- 43:45Speaker 2: take that analogy even further. I would say WandaVision gave
- 43:49Speaker 2: TV while I could to all along give books and stories.
- 43:53Speaker 2: I feel I feel more because, at least for me,
- 43:57Speaker 2: because I'm a you know, I'm a big into writing
- 43:58Speaker 2: and reading and things like that. It's just my imagination.
- 44:02Speaker 2: Especially when you read a lot like you you know
- 44:04Speaker 2: your imagine it just works a little bit differently. I
- 44:07Speaker 2: just feel like it it gets more depth to it too,
- 44:12Speaker 2: So I would like add on to what you're saying
- 44:14Speaker 2: from from what I'm thinking as well, Like I like
- 44:16Speaker 2: where you're going with that. I didn't just I'm enjoying it.
- 44:20Speaker 2: I'm a fan of how this show is doing it. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 44:23Speaker 2: I know we need to see it move into because yeah,
- 44:25Speaker 2: so so we met Ralph, We did all this stuff,
- 44:28Speaker 2: like we talked about all the background now and then
- 44:31Speaker 2: you see the change, right like obviously with when when
- 44:36Speaker 2: when William becomes bored?
- 44:38Speaker 4: Go ahead, when there he's in the car about to
- 44:45Speaker 4: go figure out is that where you're about to go to,
- 44:47Speaker 4: Like when he's in the car about to go find
- 44:49Speaker 4: Agatha to.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Go teeth in Agatha's house. No, but I know what
- 44:53Speaker 2: you're about to say. Go ahead, you can you got it.
- 44:57Speaker 2: I loved that we got a hint to a black
- 45:00Speaker 2: heart in the text message from the boyfriend. And then
- 45:06Speaker 2: damn it if if Billy is the black heart, who
- 45:12Speaker 2: the fuck is Rio? When we talked about who's part
- 45:18Speaker 2: of the coven, We've been going on and on about
- 45:21Speaker 2: Oh Billy's not really part of covet Oh no, ho
- 45:26Speaker 2: real ain't particle? First of all, where is Real.
- 45:31Speaker 4: Because she's in the first and that's why I feel like,
- 45:34Speaker 4: now I have to go back to the first episodes
- 45:36Speaker 4: and figure out where when Rio's they're not there versus
- 45:40Speaker 4: where Rio's they're not They're in this episode because she
- 45:44Speaker 4: was in there eating pizza with Agatha whatever. She found
- 45:48Speaker 4: him in the house.
- 45:50Speaker 2: Oh right, right, right, right right? You talking about like
- 45:52Speaker 2: in the episode one, technically.
- 45:55Speaker 4: Yeah, like Rio was there, but then whenever Billy shows up,
- 46:00Speaker 4: he doesn't see Ria, he.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Doesn't see Real, right. And this is interesting because like,
- 46:05Speaker 2: like we talked about how either William or Billy met
- 46:09Speaker 2: or saw each of these witches at some instance, right
- 46:13Speaker 2: with the exception of Real, and as we know, he
- 46:16Speaker 2: even saw missus Hart slash Sharon right because she's the
- 46:19Speaker 2: one who stops him wait when he's he's running away
- 46:24Speaker 2: from Agatha house.
- 46:25Speaker 4: And I liked her characterization of this too, just as
- 46:28Speaker 4: an aside, because like in like the original, like the
- 46:30Speaker 4: first couple episodes, when that happens, she's like, oh, I'm
- 46:34Speaker 4: so I didn't mean to hit him, but and then
- 46:36Speaker 4: she was like hooligan, like no.
- 46:38Speaker 2: She she met that.
- 46:40Speaker 4: She meant that very much so, which is fine, but
- 46:42Speaker 4: it feels like in Agatha's mind, she's written Sharon's to
- 46:45Speaker 4: be a weaker person than who Sharon actually is.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Well, of course, you see how even when she was
- 46:51Speaker 2: playing around like she was possessed by Sharon's spirit when
- 46:53Speaker 2: they were in the like the sleepover trialhouse, she does
- 46:57Speaker 2: think that. But that's also Agatha right. She downplays and
- 47:01Speaker 2: condescends people all the time, especially though she feels don't
- 47:04Speaker 2: really got no powers and don't really got no move right,
- 47:07Speaker 2: like don't got no motion. She's gonna be like, Okay,
- 47:10Speaker 2: you're just this also ran type person. You're you're not
- 47:13Speaker 2: necessarily someone of agency. But it was also to your point,
- 47:17Speaker 2: it was good seeing that because Sharon was the tragic character,
- 47:20Speaker 2: right and the one that has just kept having stuff
- 47:22Speaker 2: done to her, including her whole husband dying and shit
- 47:25Speaker 2: like that. So yes, I your point though about that
- 47:32Speaker 2: black Heart stuff again just going back to who who
- 47:35Speaker 2: Reo is and what her point is and where is
- 47:38Speaker 2: she and what is she exactly, and also just leading
- 47:42Speaker 2: back to what you said at the beginning of this episode,
- 47:44Speaker 2: which was this is real story. What you're talking about? Explain? Please?
- 47:52Speaker 2: Can you explint?
- 47:53Speaker 4: I'm like, I'm like where do I start?
- 47:55Speaker 2: Okay? So when.
- 47:59Speaker 4: I think we sa art with William kaplan, okay, who
- 48:03Speaker 4: why was he influenced to have magic in his life?
- 48:11Speaker 4: He had the theme for the bar Mitzvah, he had
- 48:15Speaker 4: his room, he had.
- 48:16Speaker 2: That, And that's not just his personality distance it is him.
- 48:19Speaker 2: It could be I just figured it was. Okay, however
- 48:25Speaker 2: you want to believe it? Okay? And then when.
- 48:30Speaker 4: Billy becomes part of William slash is William, we go
- 48:36Speaker 4: from like basic I'm so sorry, but basic like magic
- 48:43Speaker 4: interest into he has.
- 48:45Speaker 2: A grimoir, he's over here, got the reverse spell notebook?
- 48:48Speaker 2: He's got he goes started which core?
- 48:51Speaker 4: He has like deeper in which core? And he also
- 48:55Speaker 4: has the ballad which doesn't seem like it seems like
- 48:58Speaker 4: it's well known within like the coven witch.
- 49:01Speaker 2: He was well known between witches, not not popular culture.
- 49:06Speaker 2: So where did this level of influence and of what,
- 49:10Speaker 2: when you think about it, influence? Who influenced Billy to
- 49:16Speaker 2: start diving into this level of thought? Because again, if
- 49:22Speaker 2: he does not remember that he's actually Billy, I see
- 49:27Speaker 2: what you're saying. Then where do basically, where does this
- 49:29Speaker 2: personality come from?
- 49:31Speaker 4: Or where does his driving need to interact with witchcraft,
- 49:36Speaker 4: because he could just he could be on a Miss
- 49:39Speaker 4: Marvel track. He could be like, I'm going to figure
- 49:41Speaker 4: out how to use my powers and like build stuff
- 49:43Speaker 4: or whatever, like you know what.
- 49:44Speaker 2: I mean, Like he could where he could have did
- 49:46Speaker 2: anything with his powers and being able to hear people's
- 49:49Speaker 2: thoughts and and maybe whatever else he finds.
- 49:52Speaker 4: I'm like trying to think of other telepaths like Jean
- 49:55Speaker 4: Gray or like Professor X. They're not like, they're not witchy.
- 49:59Speaker 2: But also so he has a different like as far
- 50:01Speaker 2: as we know, it's still not truly developed because at
- 50:04Speaker 2: the end, Agatha mentions how you have a lot of power,
- 50:07Speaker 2: but you can't control it, right, And we see that
- 50:09Speaker 2: like when he tries to manifest, it's just it's just
- 50:12Speaker 2: a little flicker, and he, you know, he don't. He
- 50:15Speaker 2: still hasn't developed it fully. It's within him. But even
- 50:19Speaker 2: in that telepathy stuff, I don't even know if he,
- 50:23Speaker 2: like he says, he only only seems to turn on
- 50:25Speaker 2: with people he's close to or love, right, Whereas if
- 50:28Speaker 2: you're talking about a Gene Gray profess everybody, they just
- 50:32Speaker 2: you know, So this is a different level. And obviously
- 50:35Speaker 2: he can get there. I'm just saying, like maybe it's
- 50:37Speaker 2: just because he's just not there. That's fine.
- 50:40Speaker 4: I'm saying they did not drive their powers from magic,
- 50:46Speaker 4: and he doesn't either if he's a mutant, Like, if
- 50:48Speaker 4: we're staying can that he's a mutant, So why did
- 50:50Speaker 4: he tap into witchcraft as his level of condenters? And
- 50:54Speaker 4: so for me, that feels like it was planted.
- 50:58Speaker 2: Into him because someone knows who he is and someone
- 51:04Speaker 2: wants to line him up to work on Agatha because
- 51:10Speaker 2: technically he doesn't really He's right when he's on the road,
- 51:14Speaker 2: he doesn't need Agatha one. He doesn't really well does
- 51:19Speaker 2: he really need the road to get to his brother?
- 51:23Speaker 4: That was what hit like we never saw an explanation
- 51:28Speaker 4: for We just see that, like he hears the song
- 51:30Speaker 4: of the road and he kiss his keys and then
- 51:32Speaker 4: he goes to Agatha, but we never see why he
- 51:34Speaker 4: thinks at the road is the answer to his like
- 51:39Speaker 4: query with.
- 51:40Speaker 2: Like his finding his brother. In the episode when Rio
- 51:49Speaker 2: was doing her like Nancy crash out impersonation when she
- 51:52Speaker 2: was fighting Agatha, was she moving really fast like you flick,
- 51:57Speaker 2: you don't fear like he's here and she's here, You
- 51:59Speaker 2: know who else has super speed? Right? The brother tell me, Yeah, Tommy,
- 52:04Speaker 2: are you saying that she could? I hope that's not
- 52:07Speaker 2: what you're saying. Okay, that just like what I mean.
- 52:11Speaker 2: I mean, you could reincarnate to anybody. And I'm just like,
- 52:13Speaker 2: please don't let that be the answer, right, Okay, I'm
- 52:17Speaker 2: just gonna throw that out there though, but I hear you.
- 52:22Speaker 2: So Also, if we're going along the same path that
- 52:25Speaker 2: everyone who is on the road is someone that Billy
- 52:28Speaker 2: or William met or saw. When did he meet or
- 52:32Speaker 2: see Rio?
- 52:33Speaker 4: And I think there's a reason why we're not seeing
- 52:36Speaker 4: that right now. I think she's a puppet master and
- 52:40Speaker 4: we're not seeing her at work because we're supposed to
- 52:44Speaker 4: just take what we're getting. And then that's one layer. Well,
- 52:50Speaker 4: we're probably on layer three now in the story, and
- 52:52Speaker 4: then we'll get the story with Rio's intervention and that'll
- 52:56Speaker 4: be the overlayer. And I think the main things that
- 53:00Speaker 4: make you feel like it's Rio is questioning how she
- 53:03Speaker 4: is not there when she was there in the original
- 53:08Speaker 4: like episode, so what what I goet this scene in
- 53:13Speaker 4: the scenes whenever she's getting the reversal spell is different
- 53:16Speaker 4: than the reality, and the main.
- 53:19Speaker 2: We know that, but we thought Rio was there and
- 53:23Speaker 2: she's not. When Billy's there, I'm just as confused as
- 53:30Speaker 2: that on herself. She's hiding her influence, is what I'm saying.
- 53:33Speaker 2: Oh yeah, absolutely, and that's she's puppeteering everything. And I
- 53:37Speaker 2: think we're going to get a reveal that the.
- 53:40Speaker 4: And so I'm like, is Eddie actually an incognito version
- 53:46Speaker 4: of like Rio? Because she why why is he calling God?
- 53:51Speaker 4: How why is he calling him.
- 53:53Speaker 2: That black heart? The black heart? And you must be
- 53:56Speaker 2: we must be you must be reading minds right now
- 53:58Speaker 2: because I wanted to go back. I said black heart
- 54:00Speaker 2: stuff because the whole triple meanings of what that meant.
- 54:06Speaker 2: You know, when they talked about heart, missus heart, the
- 54:09Speaker 2: heart of the show, the heart of the coven, the
- 54:12Speaker 2: black heart, where that's what Rio referred to, well, real Agatha,
- 54:20Speaker 2: an Agatha's mind, Rio is her black heart, right, the
- 54:24Speaker 2: idea of what the word black heart means someone has
- 54:26Speaker 2: a black heart, that means that they don't have a heart, right,
- 54:28Speaker 2: they're cold calculating all this other stuff. And then again
- 54:32Speaker 2: now the boyfriend doing the black heart, I just thought
- 54:35Speaker 2: that was just in the vein of the whole horror core,
- 54:38Speaker 2: right that they're they're the you know, they're the witch. Email.
- 54:42Speaker 2: They're not God. They're the email, right, but they're gone.
- 54:43Speaker 2: But no, they're not God. You think they're okay, em
- 54:47Speaker 2: not really though they're kind of there's there I forgot
- 54:50Speaker 2: what that middle ground. There was a middle section of
- 54:53Speaker 2: there was like a cross section people who were both
- 54:54Speaker 2: and I don't know what that was called. I don't
- 54:55Speaker 2: remember that's called. But the point is that could just
- 54:58Speaker 2: be very aesthetic for their relationship or to your point,
- 55:02Speaker 2: it could be some manipulation. And that's that reoccurrence of
- 55:06Speaker 2: that symbol. They they're fucking with us.
- 55:09Speaker 4: They there are never coincidences.
- 55:14Speaker 2: Manipulation. What did I say last week, which is in
- 55:18Speaker 2: and in and of themselves are a form of manipulative
- 55:23Speaker 2: energies and manipulative manipulation. This, this is fucked up Portia.
- 55:28Speaker 2: I feel like they're casting spells on us as we
- 55:30Speaker 2: watch the show Demonization Police don't be out there.
- 55:39Speaker 4: They're saying, oh, I had just turned off that Disney program.
- 55:43Speaker 2: They're spelling the folks. When you when you turn your
- 55:46Speaker 2: eyes on the screen, you get fire. The lord, what
- 55:49Speaker 2: do they say? Get it out? Of here. No, but
- 55:53Speaker 2: I this is a lot. It's a lot, but it's
- 55:57Speaker 2: it's it's a lot in a very adventurous way, and
- 55:58Speaker 2: I'm very happy about it. What else, it was some stuff?
- 56:03Speaker 2: Oh like also when we are in the scene where
- 56:10Speaker 2: Agatha is interrogating and again I love being able to
- 56:13Speaker 2: watch these. It's essentially we watched a lot of scenes
- 56:15Speaker 2: that we saw already, just from a different perspective. Right
- 56:18Speaker 2: now we see it from Teen's perspective slash Billie's perspective.
- 56:21Speaker 2: In that scene where they were sitting down and she's
- 56:23Speaker 2: interrogating him, she's Agatha is wearing a Boner Family reunion shirt,
- 56:28Speaker 2: which I was just like, Okay, are they also are
- 56:31Speaker 2: they going to say like Ralph is coming back, or
- 56:33Speaker 2: there's going to be more Shenanigan's happening as we continue,
- 56:38Speaker 2: Like is that it is in the implication of anything,
- 56:41Speaker 2: or it's just like another Easter egg. I think for me,
- 56:43Speaker 2: it was just a conference. Like it was like rubbing
- 56:46Speaker 2: it in the face, Like she's really rubbing in the house.
- 56:48Speaker 2: She really colonized this mant house. She went through all
- 56:52Speaker 2: his closets, she's wearing his stuff, she took this mant house. Yeah, yeah,
- 56:57Speaker 2: and then what we've been what had to said, like
- 57:01Speaker 2: you know all these the other witches, are they actually dead?
- 57:03Speaker 2: Right like as Alice?
- 57:06Speaker 4: Is it the true death we gotta get?
- 57:08Speaker 2: So that's like the segue into like so we come
- 57:11Speaker 2: out of Billy like that that time block to present
- 57:16Speaker 2: day and there's Agata coming out the swamp a quicksand swamp.
- 57:23Speaker 2: It was like tars which also is that another way
- 57:25Speaker 2: where they try to kill, which is the bolm and
- 57:26Speaker 2: tar and tarn.
- 57:28Speaker 4: Feather, same time period, and then Billy destroys the sigil
- 57:38Speaker 4: and then she's like she a trip. She says that
- 57:42Speaker 4: he got rid of Lily and Jin, but it's also
- 57:47Speaker 4: like is it a true death?
- 57:50Speaker 2: I My thing is, especially because he threw them in
- 57:52Speaker 2: the in the quick grass quicksand the same out and
- 57:57Speaker 2: I know that is powerful, I get it, but like
- 57:59Speaker 2: them is a powerful.
- 58:00Speaker 4: Too, Yeah, especially Lily, Like okay, definitely, And so that's
- 58:04Speaker 4: why I'm like questioning.
- 58:05Speaker 2: I feel like I feel like manipulation.
- 58:08Speaker 4: I think that Agatha doesn't care whether they're dead or
- 58:12Speaker 4: her life like that that makes sense for Agatha. I
- 58:16Speaker 4: think that it is in her willhouse to make sure
- 58:23Speaker 4: that Billy feels like he's just as cruft as she is,
- 58:26Speaker 4: so she can manipulate him even further, like like.
- 58:30Speaker 2: And he feels he's not you know how he's she
- 58:32Speaker 2: he says, well, the first one there or last one
- 58:34Speaker 2: there's a nice person. He's like, I'm not as nice
- 58:36Speaker 2: as you think, Like, like you said, is that just
- 58:39Speaker 2: continuing manipulation from Agatha or is that him trying to
- 58:42Speaker 2: be just like his mother be like, oh, I'm a
- 58:44Speaker 2: bad bitch. Actually don't play with me. I just feel
- 58:47Speaker 2: like it's also like Agatha. It's to Agatha, and control
- 58:57Speaker 2: is a thing, Like she's always.
- 58:58Speaker 4: Going to feel like she's in control situation, and even
- 59:00Speaker 4: if she's not in control, she needs to feel it
- 59:03Speaker 4: like it and I feel like that is happening here.
- 59:08Speaker 4: I also think about the motifs and like the theming
- 59:11Speaker 4: of it all, like how.
- 59:15Speaker 2: Demoralizing it was for you know.
- 59:17Speaker 4: Lets we talked about how majority of witches are people
- 59:21Speaker 4: who were persecuted for being witches are women, and often
- 59:27Speaker 4: they were told like to question themselves, to.
- 59:30Speaker 2: Question their morality, to question like that. And then like
- 59:32Speaker 2: I get this taking that same level of persecution she's
- 59:35Speaker 2: putting it on the team she is, and she's also
- 59:39Speaker 2: playing with his mind because she also congratulates him. Basically,
- 59:42Speaker 2: she was just like, oh, well you're you're a true witch.
- 59:45Speaker 2: And he's like happy by you see him, like feeling proud,
- 59:49Speaker 2: like I am living up to the hype. I am
- 59:51Speaker 2: gonna be a bad bitch, right, and then like right away,
- 59:55Speaker 2: then her demeaning him, like it's very she is a
- 59:59Speaker 2: horrible person. I love Agatha, but goddamn.
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: And that's so if you think about it, like she
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: like he is technically six or seven years old, Like
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: I don't know how long Bondavision is, like, but he
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: was like probably technically from the time period.
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: The Heck was like two years, right, two three years?
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: How long was the Heck?
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: Did the Hecks last? I don't know how long it lasted?
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: I know it when like the time period in between
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: the Hecks and this show is three right, So if
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: he was, let's give him one. I don't feel like
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: it's that. I feel like it's like months, but let's
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: give him he was one, uh because of the baby
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: to ten year old jump, and then he was actually
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: Billy for three years and then three years later he's sixteen,
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: So he's technically seven, okay, and he's being manipulated by
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: someone who knows that he's technically seven and knows how
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: easy it is, like, oh, let's talk about your mommy,
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: let's talk about your dad, let's talk about your twin.
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: And I'm trying to also understand, like, you know, the
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: implications of them still continuing on this road together, like
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: him talking about old.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: But first of all, I didn't understand why he did
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: away with Jen and Lilia, Like I don't understand what
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: he did.
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: I miss something that I think we're not getting the
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: full story on purpose. I think we're supposed to not
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: be aware of what actually is happening, because he's.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: Not aware what was happening. I didn't understand why he
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: whacked them, like I don't.
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: But did he think he was whacking them?
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: I don't know, because she was. And even even when
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: an actor was like, well I killed some too, I'm like,
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: but did he kill anybody? Eye? But he didn't seem
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: he just seemed like, yeah, I did that shit like
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: like but more of a yeah I'm a bad motherfucker
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: type thing, not like he really wanted to. I don't know,
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: Like you now you're trying to appel somebody's Ea. It
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: felt very ego response as opposed to something he was
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: really proud of. I don't know, especially like him learning
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: because in that period, that that period of him realizing
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: he's Billy maximum Off and then being told all this
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: information and him learned, you know, going through because he
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: said he's been keeping a dossier on everything, dealing with
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: like the hecks and all this other stuff like. But
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: he brings his boyfriend into the room and he said,
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: look at all this shit, right, he has all this
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: wild shit on the ground, which is funny because it's
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: very much like a crime drama that act that have
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: been living in, you know, when they do the big
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: boards with the lines drawing connections between stuff. It was
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: very reminiscent of that. But the fact that he and
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: again could have been real. But the fact that he
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: felt compelled to do all this digging into magic and
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: all this digging into who Wanda was and everybody else
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: is and and who these you know, you understand, like
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: it's just what you about to say.
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: How did he decide that was the route to go?
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: If he does I know that he's Billy Maximo. He
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: just knows that he got the clue from Ralph Bohner
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: that the twins died.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: He did that was he got that? Then he just
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: got it.
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: Do you really that he didn't know he was Billy Maximov?
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: That's my question. We get all the way name.
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: It's been three years since William and Billy were supplanted, right, Yeah,
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: when did he what's the I don't recall in this
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: show when in this episode, rather when is the first
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: time he says who he? And that's what I thought,
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: And that's why I'm like, in my misrememberings, I thought
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: when he was in the hospital he called himself Billy
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: and then he saw how the parents reacted and he.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: Was like, William, I'm gonna have to watch that bag. Yeah,
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: it was either that or when one the point that
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: one scene, why did do his last name? Right? One
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: scene why I do remember him saying his full name
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: was when he he got he got the mirror, the mirror,
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: and he said it again when he was getting Wanda
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: not Wanda Agatha out the spell when he was in
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: Agtha's house and he She's like, what's your name? And
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: she says say that again and he says, first he
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: says William that he says, Billy, and she's what.
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: She's stroking her broach like it's a counter spell or something,
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: and it still doesn't work.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: She still used the schigul or whatever. So that reminds
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: me the.
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: Broach might like and is that a fake broach?
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: Then like, well, no, I had to because the spell
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: wouldn't a work. The release spell wouldn't have worked for him,
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: or so what happened? We also said, was it him
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: that released? Remember we had doubts that he was the
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: one who did the release?
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: Yeah, because again Rio was there.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: Rio is the answer.
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: I so what happened? And I noticed this and I
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: was like, I'm this feels like it means something. And
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: now that you're talking, it's making me be like, maybe
- 1:04:46Speaker 4: this is what it meant. When he steals into her
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: house to get and gets the brooch and she go,
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: she gets it back by him dropping. Whenever she shows
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: him in a closet, it's lying on the floor and
- 1:05:02Speaker 4: the camera pans down to the Lockett broach being on the.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: Floor by the closet.
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: Next scene or two, we get Agatha touching on the
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: brooch so she has the back in her hands.
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: Did well. The next scene also was like the next
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: day too. Yeah, I just thought it was as a
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: time jump, right, But why did we focus on the
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: broach being on the floor, So did Rio snatch the
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: real brooch give her a fake there instead, and then
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: that's what she's holding whenever she goes to do it.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: Because if Rio told Agatha, that's not your son, because Rio,
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: who's been there the whole time without them noticing and
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: who's been pulling strings, knows that's not So she wasn't
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: just saying that, you know, as like to be mean
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: to Agatha whatever she is, legit, just saying the truth
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: to Agatha, that's not your son, because she knows the
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: truth already.
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: She knows who Billy is.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: What would be the implication for the reason why she
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: would switch the brooch.
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: Because if that's a counter spell to the sigil, then
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: that would ruin her whole plan. For like, I wanted
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: not to know who Billy is until the end, and then.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: Dang it when.
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: Rio to me, like, because to me, what happens is
- 1:06:27Speaker 4: that one she Rio already knows who uh Billy William
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: Kaplan slash Billy actually is, so the sigel doesn't work
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: on her because we never really see her react to
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: the Sigul.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: Two.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: She may not be a witch. She just may be
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: death and the sigel would not inquire her anyway. You
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: mentioned that before and we talked about that where and
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: it's evencoming more apparent because it's just like we we're like,
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: where is she? Who is she? All this other stuff
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: she's not really part of coming. She may not even
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: be the black Horse, she's not even working on the road. Right,
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: Like when Lilia wrote the list of names, who is
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: the black Heart? Right? Was it actually Billy? Hmm?
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: There's so many There's so many like loose ends here,
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: like does a black heart mean Rio? We think not?
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: Does it mean Billy or does it actually mean Eddie?
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: Is it a double?
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: You know? Is there things that we're supposed to be
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: picking up there?
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: Do we will?
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: We? That was another question I have is like, so
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: is it a double ma Tandra that Billy is seeking
- 1:07:41Speaker 4: or told Agatha that he's seeking more power and actually
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: he's seeking Tommy. But the real answer is that when
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: he finds Tommy, his powers will increase because the power
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: of tweens.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: Probably probably I could see that happening. I could see
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: that then reactivating something, right, I can also because I
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: know there were some people already who were like they,
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: And I didn't understand why people been like you, you're
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: on the road. Why would your first person to be
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: looking for is Bill? Is Tommy? Why would you look
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: for your mother? I'm like, that's his brother, Like I
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: understand for me, this is twin, this is twin. I
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: understand wanting to find your brother first. Especially remember when
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: they both technically died. What did they say good night Billy,
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: good night Tommy? Right? And when he was then supplanted
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: or I don't know what you want to call it, transfigured,
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: transformed whatever reincarnated into when Billy went into William's body, Right,
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: what does the first thing Billy says Tommy? Right? Like,
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: that's the last thing you see and hear when you die,
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: and the first thing you see or say when you
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: woke up your brother. So I understand this whole journey,
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: at least initially being about Billy trying to search for
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: his brother, and then afterwards you can feel him, he
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: could feel him, and then afterwards to your point, maybe
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: with their powers increased or intensified or right, some casts
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: and plan of shit, they may be like, oh shit,
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: where's our mom, maybe we could find our mom. And
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: also in the comics, it's not in well, in some stories,
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: it's not really until they come together that then they're like, Okay,
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: we gotta find our mom, we gotta help her or whatever. Right,
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: it's they're twins, there's always the thing they do together.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: So yeah, his brother's going to be the first priority. A.
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: Tommy's having the same issue he's having, like whereas Wickan's
- 1:09:43Speaker 4: powers are just like fizzling. We can like stuttering, like
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: he's like he's a little fast, and he's like, oh,
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: then go all the way, you know, like maybe they're
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: having similar power issues. And so when they're together, the
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: powers can fully like unload and go to where they
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: need to go.
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: That's a good possibility for you. And also it's just
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: so funny, like just the idea, like everyone's like, it's
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: Wanda really dead, and it's just like they keep saying
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: over and over that bitch dead, that bitch dead. It
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: is dead. We know she could be somewhere in the
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: multiverse kind of sort of like they've left it very
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: ambiguous in my head. Well, no, it wasn't that biggous,
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: wasn't she In Wonder Gore at that point, she just
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: ended up under Wonder Gore Mountain or some shit. I
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: feel Adam in multiverse madness, Like, remember, she sealed herself
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: up basically, so she ain't dead dead. I just feel
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: like it's a comic book series, for one. So that's
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: that's why you're questioning the death that we saw on
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: this show. And let me tell y'all if y'all never
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: read an X Men, because because Wanda is an X Man,
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: let's remember that. But if you've ever read any X
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: Men stories, none of that shit mattered, Like, oh, everybody
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: named Mama dies and then the next run comes out
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: and everybody back right, or oh everybody and Mama got
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: ten legs, then the next run everybody on some other
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: shit Like, this stuff doesn't And this is not a disparagement,
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: this is just facts. The stuff don't last, right, This
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: stuff can change up at any point. So yes, to
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: Portio's point, this is comic books. And you know, from
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: a MCU standpoint, this is the multiverse. Anything can happen.
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: Anything can happen with Disney Marvel. Okay, what else did
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: we miss anything? I mean, I'm sure there's lots of
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: things that we did not potentially discuss, but like stuff
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: that you had in mind or thoughts you had in mind.
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: The most love for me. I was happy to see
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: Ralph again.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: I love Oh my god, I I was.
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: I was when you said the first time you saw like,
- 1:11:40Speaker 4: I feel like I saw him younger, and it was
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: on the Field of the Future. That's where I first
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: saw Evan Peters.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: Oh okay, I didn't recurring role on there first, but
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: I was a kiss. I remember him young like I
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: was also young, So I'm like, I remember him.
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: I really enjoyed it. I think that he I think
- 1:11:57Speaker 4: it for me, I was like, of course it's Ralph Bonner.
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: It's the only person from west View who's willing to
- 1:12:03Speaker 4: speak because everyone else's.
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: Was like so traumatized, traumatized. He is too, It's just
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: he is.
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: But he's got a whole like he even at the
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: there's like a cut scene of him like running on
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: the run from Sword, so he has he's been on
- 1:12:18Speaker 4: the front Sword for so long that I think the
- 1:12:20Speaker 4: way that he processes things is completely different than how
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: most people process things.
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: And he's he's they they made him like a like
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: a typical conspiracy theorist, right that's right, everyone's coming to
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: get me. I have to be careful. He tapes up
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: the camera for you. How you got how you want
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: to run? But you got a one man show. I'm praamise.
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: I don't I don't know. I just the stuff that
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: hes been saying.
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: He the man he has an aka because he was like,
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: he was like, he's like cover Oh darn it, Randall.
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: Well, I just thought it was funny. I thought that
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: was just a funny thing of him being so silly,
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: like him saying his real name and then trying to
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: cover up real fast because he's a dummy. But it
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: is what it is. I just I didn't enjoy seeing
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: his character again. And then you know, I was at
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: first I didn't catch it, like I didn't clock in,
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: and I was like, Nigga, that's Quicksilver, Well the fake Clicksiver.
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: That's Quicksilver's as soon as the real quicksilver. He's the
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: real quicksilver in fox He's a real Quicksilver. In my heart,
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: he's a real Quicksilver. And didn't do it. You don't
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: care about the other one. The MCU. Originally okay, she
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: said no, thank you, give me Evan. Oh there is
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: one one point one note I had that I didn't
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: mention before the fact that when Billy was researching Agatha
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: and did like the Google reverse imagechurch and all of
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: this stuff on the that Wikipedia what do they call
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: it pia like brew ha, you know, another word for
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: which they it said in her page that she has
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: sucubist power. And for those who you know, follow mythology
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: and stuff like that, like the sucubist is too they
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: portrayed as like a feminine or female being person whatever
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: that drains men of their life force and energy by
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: you know, sleeping with them and things like that. And
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: you know what we know of of Agatha is you know,
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: if someone blasts her, as she says, she can just
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: drain that energy and gender neutral and it's it is
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: gender neutral. And you know when she's kept saying she
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: couldn't help her, she couldn't control it, right she was,
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: I guess she's just born this way, right, And what
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: did her moms said? You were born evil? And again
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: I don't know if that's just her mom's just being
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: a wild parent or nonparent, or is it truly her
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: just being like you know, she basically said, I should
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: have got rid of you before you got here, because
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: she knew what her daughter was.
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: I feel like the thing is that also thinking about
- 1:14:55Speaker 4: like this whole series, Lily has been talking about the
- 1:14:58Speaker 4: ways that has been persecuted, and if you say it
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: that way, it's basically the same way that people like labeled,
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: which is like the like promiscuous women of their day
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: or whatever. Like she's if her thing is the sucurest
- 1:15:13Speaker 4: power and she has that puritanical mother.
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: Well you're you're a loose woman. You I shouldn't have
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: had you. You are a loose lady. Could you're imagine
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: that you're a child and your mother tells you this,
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: Like I could tell like a mom's was on her
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: ass from jump streets, So like, no wonder she you know,
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: she's grown up to be so fucked up. But again
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: just that idea of her not being able to just
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: saying she can't control it, right, and I you know,
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: was like can you though, like yeah, sure you can't.
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: But it's also like she said that for a minute to.
- 1:15:49Speaker 4: Alice, it really seemed like she really had a moment
- 1:15:53Speaker 4: where she could pause and simply not simply not you
- 1:15:56Speaker 4: think so yeah, mmmm, oh god, I think I think
- 1:16:02Speaker 4: everything's a choice, and I think THO should Those are
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: decisions that people make, and it the technicality is that
- 1:16:11Speaker 4: people are blasting power at her. Well technically the power
- 1:16:14Speaker 4: was blasted at her mother, not her, So like you
- 1:16:16Speaker 4: know what I mean, Like, it's just I don't know,
- 1:16:18Speaker 4: I don't. I don't get with that game of I
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: can't control it. I can see if it was like
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: playing its like again, if it's like a hard to control,
- 1:16:25Speaker 4: like it's an addiction thing, But.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: I don't that's what I think. That's what she means.
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: I think that's what she means. No, you don't just
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: says she's not playing that you're a sucubus. That's so
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: what I'm saying. If you're a suckubus, that's just how
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: your power sets.
- 1:16:38Speaker 4: But even suck youby have the ability to decide when
- 1:16:40Speaker 4: they're gonna use their power not gonna use their power.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: Mmm.
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: Okay, Well back to her just being a horrible person
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: that I really enjoy and love watching every week. Not
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: to be on her.
- 1:16:53Speaker 4: I mean, like I said, what if her mama sees
- 1:16:55Speaker 4: her like Hitler? You know what I mean, Like, if
- 1:16:56Speaker 4: you had a chance to go kill Hitler, as a baby,
- 1:16:58Speaker 4: would you do it?
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: And like, I get this.
- 1:17:03Speaker 4: Proud She's like, I've killed my share of people. Listen,
- 1:17:13Speaker 4: we got this. This episode was too good.
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: Let's get the bill. But it's also just opens up
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: so many more questions. And I do want to thank
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: everyone who's been listening, and thank everyone for all the
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: comments that you're leaving in the chat right now in
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: the comments section, because every week I've been reading all
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: of them, and I again thank you for keeping it cute,
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: keeping it respectful. I love reading everyone's theories and explanations.
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: And again, if you disagree or agree with us, that's fine.
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: I don't care. I just want to have the conversation.
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: So thank y'all.
- 1:17:48Speaker 4: Very that's everywhere, Like on the Socials, yes, yeah, on
- 1:17:51Speaker 4: Twitter there was a recent discussion, and then like love
- 1:17:54Speaker 4: seeing when people add up to install or TikTok on them. Yeah,
- 1:17:57Speaker 4: on every account, like those.
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: Are because I still don't and and speaking of just
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: that's the last point I wanted to make on the
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: Socials from the last episode. I still don't think they
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: passed the last trial. I mean, I guess they did technically,
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: but I'm like, when did they pass? Like I don't
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: see whatever.
- 1:18:11Speaker 4: It's one of those teachers are trying to get rid
- 1:18:14Speaker 4: of you.
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: They're just like yeah, They're like, girls, just go on
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: to the next You try to answer this question for
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: twenty minutes, just going to the next one. Maybe that's
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: what it is. But I don't know, girl, But unless
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: you got something else to mention, because I don't think
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: there was any more like music or anything like that
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: related everything. Basically the last point, the last list, last point.
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: Everything we saw in this episode, we've been seen. We
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: saw over in every episode. You know, we saw already
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: the people, the things, the themes, the references for Pondi Road,
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: Alexe one Lane, everything has been there. And that's what
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: it's a lesson that Bet I mean always says the
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: answer will be given to you in the beginning of
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: a well written story service already in front of you,
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: and you just gotta piece it together. So kudos to
