- 0:00SPEAKER_00: We have a story here in the twin tiers that might end up going national, and you're gonna hear about it first in just moments.
- 0:06SPEAKER_01: I hope so.
- 0:07SPEAKER_01: No, do I ever.
- 0:08SPEAKER_01: But the other story that we're talking about, and I love when a text starts with, come on, Scott.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, no, no.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: Well, hold on.
- 0:15SPEAKER_01: So this kid, 11 years old, knows, man, I'm feeling sleepy.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: He knew it the class before.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: So he but right as he's getting into class, turns out his notes recorder, it records the teacher, and then he takes that recording, he puts it in AI, and then it gives him essentially the bullet points, the cliff notes, if you will.
- 0:33SPEAKER_01: And so that's why he's able to get through class, pass tests, do the lesson, whatever he needed to do.
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: And I said, There's gotta be some punishment for that, right?
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: Well, the initial, I think you you're thinking that because the initial uh issue is well, Mrs.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Teacher, that's the quote from this, had to call mom and explain, you know, he fell asleep in this and that.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: But then the kid came back and he goes, Well, wait a minute.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yes, yes, I did.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: But I planned.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: I everything was prepared for planned for that good nap.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: I missed nothing.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: I brought a pillow.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: No, I'm just kidding.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right?
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: I missed nothing.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: Right, right, because he did exactly what I just said.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: And the come on, Scott, he should not be sleeping in class.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: I don't dispute that part of it.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: He deserves some punishment.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: You couldn't take a nap at work.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: I do like this analogy.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: I've been sleeping for 16 years on the job.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: This is true.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: But but no, in this case, I disagree with that because he prepared.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: Yes, I agree with he shouldn't be sleeping in class.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: Whatever the situation was.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: Maybe, maybe he had a hard time sleeping the night before.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: Maybe due to not getting off electronics, maybe it was just a thunderstorm.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: But either way, he prepared.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: And that's where you must applaud the preparation.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: He prepared, prepared, prepared, prepared to wiggle the system.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: And here's what I like about that.
- 1:49SPEAKER_01: You couldn't take a nap at work.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: We are teaching our kids to be adults in the real world, which is why I like the comparison.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: Now, if it was the daily occurrence, I said right out this time you get a pass because you really do that.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: That's a different story.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: Now another one says a note.
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: I like this.
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: A note that says, sorry I made you feel disrespected.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: Because I know you work hard to plan days of teaching.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: I also do like this because that is where the disrespect comes in.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: I was just telling Zach, I could never be a teacher because when you guys don't pay attention to me, I don't know it.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: But if I have to sit or stand and be like, if you have to watch it happen.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: Yes, if I have to be entertaining in front of students every single day, and every day people are not paying attention to me, I'm annoyed.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: And the best part is, is I can literally cut and paste that text about the note right over to the kid, and he can put it in chat GPT, and it'll create the note for him.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: You won't have to do anything.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: He's not learning anything.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Brilliant.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: He's learning how to use technology for the power that it should be.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: Are you ready to find out in just a moment?
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: Uh actually, give me a few minutes here.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: I've got to, I've got it ready, and I'm gonna unleash to you a story that could possibly go national right here in the Twin Tiers.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: Another fine look for our area.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: I'll leave it at that.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: But before we get there, uh huh, finally, ladies, the product you've been waiting for, you'll find out next.
