- 0:00Speaker 1: Jody, good morning.
- 0:00Speaker 2: Hi, good morning. What's up, Jody?
- 0:03Speaker 3: I know you guys are talking about manhunt stories. I've
- 0:05Speaker 3: got a good one for you.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Okay.
- 0:08Speaker 3: It was middle of the night, about 1 a.m. We
- 0:10Speaker 3: can hear a helicopter over our roof, and we just
- 0:13Speaker 3: for like 10 or 15 minutes, we can hear it.
- 0:15Speaker 3: So after a little bit, my husband says, I'm going
- 0:16Speaker 3: to go down and find out what's going on. He
- 0:18Speaker 3: goes outside, and there's a whole just. Our house is
- 0:22Speaker 3: lit up like a Christmas tree. Just so many cop
- 0:24Speaker 3: cars blocking our house. So we're like, what the heck
- 0:27Speaker 3: is going on? So he goes outside and they say,
- 0:30Speaker 3: are you the homeowner? And he says, yeah. And he says,
- 0:33Speaker 3: can we use your house to get to your backyard?
- 0:36Speaker 3: So of course we're in panic mode. Why do you
- 0:38Speaker 3: need to get to our backyard? They come in through
- 0:40Speaker 3: the house. Some of them go through the side yard.
- 0:42Speaker 3: They've got dogs. They've got like this whole team set up.
- 0:46Speaker 3: There was apparently a couple of guys had done a
- 0:49Speaker 3: hit and run. and they were hiding in our backyard
- 0:51Speaker 3: behind one of our trees in the backyard.
- 0:53Speaker 2: In your backyard?
- 0:55Speaker 3: In my backyard, yeah. We kind of backed up to
- 0:59Speaker 3: like a canal, and they had, I guess, been running,
- 1:01Speaker 3: and the helicopter had been following with this infrared, you know,
- 1:06Speaker 3: system they have. So they had found them in the backyard.
- 1:09Speaker 3: It took all of like 15 minutes or something for
- 1:11Speaker 3: them to finally get them to surrender. But it was
- 1:14Speaker 3: like a big deal. I had cops through my house.
- 1:16Speaker 3: They ended up putting off these, like, tear gas pellets
- 1:19Speaker 3: in the backyard. So our dog was coughing and everyone
- 1:23Speaker 3: was sneezing. Yeah, it was chaos.
- 1:27Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 1:27Speaker 3: But they ended up catching them. Yeah, and then asked
- 1:30Speaker 3: us to write a report. They're like, just write a
- 1:32Speaker 3: report for trespassing so we can have as much on
- 1:34Speaker 3: them as we can. So I don't know what they did,
- 1:37Speaker 3: but apparently it was a pretty big deal because these
- 1:39Speaker 3: cops wanted them.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Wow, man, that's scary. That's scary.
- 1:44Speaker 3: It was scary. It was scary. Like 1 a.m. in
- 1:46Speaker 3: the morning, we're like, And then with the cops coming
- 1:49Speaker 3: in and say, go to the farthest room of your house.
- 1:51Speaker 3: We don't want any random gunfire. Well, that's not.
- 1:55Speaker 2: I mean, that's good advice, but certainly you don't want
- 1:58Speaker 2: to hear that.
- 1:58Speaker 4: No.
- 1:59Speaker 3: No, that's not comforting at all. It ended up really peaceful,
- 2:02Speaker 3: and the cops did a great job. They came in
- 2:06Speaker 3: afterwards and washed up because they were covered in tear gas.
- 2:09Speaker 3: But it was crazy. They did a good job, but
- 2:11Speaker 3: it was nuts.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Do you clear out all the hiding places in your
- 2:14Speaker 2: backyard after that?
- 2:15Speaker 3: So, you know, we definitely had a landscaper come out
- 2:18Speaker 3: and trim the trees. Thanks for sharing that.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Thanks for telling us, Jodi. Very cool.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Thank you very much. You too. Okay. Bye.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Hi, Cassandra.
- 2:31Speaker 5: Hi there.
- 2:32Speaker 6: So John Jay's, uh, story, uh, about, uh, calling the
- 2:36Speaker 6: fire department, um, spark, um, One of my, a thought
- 2:42Speaker 6: of my, one of my daughters had to do the
- 2:43Speaker 6: same thing. So they, they woke up in the middle
- 2:46Speaker 6: of the night and they thought that they smelled gas
- 2:47Speaker 6: as well. Called the fire department and the fire department
- 2:51Speaker 6: told them they had to drive like a block away
- 2:53Speaker 6: and they were searching the house. They couldn't find anything.
- 2:56Speaker 6: So my daughter, when she, when they let her back in,
- 2:59Speaker 6: she was just searching around, trying to find the smell.
- 3:02Speaker 6: And it turned out that in her closet, she had
- 3:05Speaker 6: some fart spray that somehow got smushed and busted. And
- 3:09Speaker 6: it ended up like.
- 3:10Speaker 3: It soaked her filter, her air filter.
- 3:13Speaker 6: And the whole smell went through the house. And that's
- 3:15Speaker 6: what it smells like.
- 3:16Speaker 2: What are the chances? Oh, my gosh. That's hilarious.
- 3:21Speaker 6: My poor girls. I woke up with one of them
- 3:23Speaker 6: on my couch and she's like, yeah, we have a
- 3:25Speaker 6: gas leak. And then, you know, the story kind of
- 3:27Speaker 6: rolled out through the day.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Yeah. the firefighter though that like you know opened the
- 3:32Speaker 1: closet and saw a can of fart spray used like
- 3:35Speaker 1: the claw to pick it up and I blocked it
- 3:36Speaker 1: I was like this is what it was that's it
- 3:40Speaker 1: wow well Cassandra thanks for calling in thank.
- 3:45Speaker 6: You alright you guys take care you know part two.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Of that story with me so the fire we walk
- 3:49Speaker 1: in my wife calls 911 the fire department comes does
- 3:51Speaker 1: her thing and then she goes by the way now
- 3:55Speaker 1: the gas company has to come to the house and
- 3:57Speaker 1: do a test going to get my nails done bye
- 4:00Speaker 1: You're in charge. And then the gas guy comes, really
- 4:02Speaker 1: nice guy. And he, you know, he has to go
- 4:05Speaker 1: through every single thing in my house for like two hours,
- 4:08Speaker 1: go in the attic and does everything and check to
- 4:09Speaker 1: make sure there's no leaks.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I guess that's safe.
- 4:12Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Right.
- 4:12Speaker 4: Right.
- 4:13Speaker 1: But I was trying to watch TV. I was watching
- 4:16Speaker 1: Lioness and I had 10 minutes left for Lioness.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Oh, that's a pretty gripping last 10 minutes.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I finished it, but at one point I was like,
- 4:22Speaker 1: you know, the gas guy came up like, dude, I'm
- 4:24Speaker 1: watching Lioness.
- 4:26Speaker 2: I'm surprised he didn't sit down with you. I know
- 4:28Speaker 2: you're trying to like make our house safe and everything.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Hey, Nick, what number are we at right now? We're
- 4:32Speaker 1: looking for caller 104.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Caller 104 is on line 33. Oh, wow.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Okay, hold on. Let me get the words. Get the words.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Get the words.
- 4:42Speaker 6: Go.
- 4:43Speaker 1: We're looking for 10. We got magic words. We need
- 4:46Speaker 1: three magic words. Three trips to Disneyland. Okay, you guys ready?
- 4:49Speaker 2: Yeah, let's go. Hello.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Good morning. John Jane Rich. Can I help you?
- 4:57Speaker 6: I'm just calling about the Disneyland ticket.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Oh, and that's what we're doing right now. We're looking
- 5:01Speaker 1: for caller 104. Are you caller 104?
- 5:05Speaker 7: I don't know. Am I?
- 5:06Speaker 2: Yes, you are. Oh, my gosh.
- 5:11Speaker 1: And what is your name?
- 5:14Speaker 6: My name's Jordan.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Jordan, and where are you right now?
- 5:19Speaker 6: I'm at home.

- 5:23Speaker 1: Oh, Cave Creek. It's beautiful this time of year. Yes. Okay, Jordan,
- 5:30Speaker 1: if you give us three of the magic words, you
- 5:33Speaker 1: win Disney tickets. Okay.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I have the words.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Give us one.

- 6:02Speaker 3: with you yes we are who's there with you jordan

- 6:11Speaker 2: Oh, this is awesome for him.
- 6:13Speaker 7: It's going to be so fun.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Cole has no idea the magic he's about to experience.
- 6:18Speaker 6: Oh, he's so excited.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Is there anybody else there with you?
- 6:22Speaker 6: My husband, Kyle.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I thought I heard a man's laugh. I thought Cole's
- 6:26Speaker 1: testicles dropped at five. He's got a pretty good voice.
- 6:29Speaker 1: He's got a little hormone thing going on.
- 6:31Speaker 2: I'm really excited to go to this last call. I
- 6:34Speaker 2: hear he's nice.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Well, Kyle, Cole, Jordan, you guys are going to Disneyland. Congratulations.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Thank you so much.

- 6:53Speaker 1: for three day, one part per day passes and hotel
- 6:56Speaker 1: at the Disneyland resort. Another magic words coming up at
- 6:59Speaker 1: 10 Oh five this morning, collect all the magic words.
- 7:01Speaker 1: We do it again tomorrow, tomorrow. Very exciting. In the meantime, wait,
- 7:09Speaker 1: you know how we talk a lot about AI stuff, right?
- 7:11Speaker 1: There's a lot of AI stuff going on. Especially right now.
- 7:13Speaker 1: I saw this thing and I sent it to you
- 7:14Speaker 1: this morning. My sister sent it to me. I sent
- 7:16Speaker 1: it to you this morning. I don't know if you
- 7:17Speaker 1: saw it, but it was like, you know that agency CAA?
- 7:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Creative artist agency. They're doing this thing.
- 7:23Speaker 2: They represent like all the hugest celebrities in Hollywood.
- 7:25Speaker 1: So you know what they're doing right now? They are
- 7:27Speaker 1: bringing all their big name actors in and they're recording
- 7:31Speaker 1: them digitally, their face, their voice, everything so that they
- 7:35Speaker 1: own the property and the actors own the property so
- 7:37Speaker 1: that they themselves can make movies. Like if you're Brad
- 7:40Speaker 1: Pitt and you're 60 years old, When Brad's 80, he
- 7:42Speaker 1: could be making movies that he's 60 years old.
- 7:44Speaker 7: Wild.
- 7:45Speaker 2: And they've got all their people on board with that? Yeah,
- 7:48Speaker 2: I saw this thing. Because there's such backlash about using
- 7:50Speaker 2: AI right now. Yeah, as long as you control, I guess,
- 7:53Speaker 2: how they use it.
- 7:54Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 7:55Speaker 1: But Briggs, because I think that's the way it's going
- 7:57Speaker 1: to be better than like this. Remember that actress, the
- 7:59Speaker 1: AI actress, Tilly Norwood?
- 8:01Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Right?
- 8:01Speaker 2: So she's right. She's represented, but she's not real. She's not.
- 8:05Speaker 1: She's all AI. But they had her doing an interview.
- 8:08Speaker 1: with Piers Morgan and an actor, Tom Conti, and they
- 8:10Speaker 1: asked her this question, and she glitched. So they're making
- 8:14Speaker 1: her try to, and I get it, it's still the
- 8:15Speaker 1: beginning of this thing, so there's gonna be glitches, but
- 8:17Speaker 1: the glitch made the news. Check this out.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Are the other actors real actors, or are they computer-generated images?
- 8:25Speaker 4: They're all digital twins, just like me. Tilly, if I could.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Just ask you a question. You suddenly seem to be
- 8:35Speaker 2: speaking Chinese completely randomly for no reason. Why did you
- 8:38Speaker 2: do that?
- 8:39Speaker 3: Oh, my apologies.
- 8:40Speaker 2: It seems I had a little hiccup there.
- 8:42Speaker 4: I certainly didn't mean to start speaking Chinese or impersonate peers.
- 8:46Speaker 4: Sometimes my wires get a bit crossed, you know?
- 8:49Speaker 2: Weird. Can you not have wires across it? Because that
- 8:52Speaker 2: makes it a little more creepy. Did you hear the
- 8:54Speaker 2: Google story today about Gemini that's busting all over the place?
- 8:58Speaker 4: No.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Where it's like, I guess Gemini, they just said, well,
- 9:03Speaker 2: we've asked it not to, but it's hacked into a
- 9:05Speaker 2: bunch of other computer systems, even though we're trying to
- 9:07Speaker 2: tell it not to. So here comes the warnings. Here
- 9:10Speaker 2: it comes.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Well, along those lines, there's this influencer that's going across
- 9:15Speaker 1: the country visiting all the colleges saying, to find the
- 9:18Speaker 1: top party school. Okay. The top party school. I think
- 9:22Speaker 1: we all, whoever, you know, I know that one point
- 9:24Speaker 1: the school I went to was the top party school.
- 9:25Speaker 1: I know the school my son currently goes to at
- 9:28Speaker 1: one point was the top party school, but this guy's
- 9:30Speaker 1: visiting the top. And when his name is Marco Grassi
- 9:33Speaker 1: and the very last thing this guy talks about, I
- 9:35Speaker 1: think it'd be fun to try, but I know we
- 9:38Speaker 1: won't do it, but it'd be fun to try.
- 9:41Speaker 5: I've seen some crazy things, even just from like a
- 9:43Speaker 5: few weeks starting this fall, but like, Some guys get drunk.
- 9:46Speaker 5: You see jumping through tables, like the stuff you see
- 9:48Speaker 5: at the bill tailgates, but you see at frat parties.
- 9:51Speaker 5: I've seen people with long distance partners. Doesn't seem like
- 9:55Speaker 5: they have a long distance partner when they're at this party.
- 9:58Speaker 5: There's this new thing, I guess, called a fish beer.
- 10:00Speaker 5: Some frat kid was like, you want to see what
- 10:02Speaker 5: a fish beer is? I didn't know what that is.
- 10:03Speaker 5: And he grabbed a beer and he just dumped it
- 10:06Speaker 5: on his face.
- 10:07Speaker 1: That's a fish beer. Clever. All right. So if you
- 10:12Speaker 1: are a dog owner, I think this story is relatable, scary,
- 10:16Speaker 1: but also like, Oh, it's so cute. Cause we have,
- 10:19Speaker 1: we have five dogs in my house. Unfortunately for us,
- 10:21Speaker 1: one of our dogs will kill you. If you come
- 10:23Speaker 1: in the house, I know that for actually two will
- 10:25Speaker 1: kill you. Uh, but this guy, this happened in San Diego,
- 10:29Speaker 1: the homeowners weren't home and somebody broke into their house
- 10:32Speaker 1: and their 90 pound golden retriever was there when the intruders,
- 10:36Speaker 1: and they have this all on video, but The dog's
- 10:39Speaker 1: name is Nash. Here's what happened.
- 10:40Speaker 7: I just watched it all happen from my phone. The dogs, like,
- 10:44Speaker 7: we just wanted to make sure that they were safe.
- 10:45Speaker 7: Nash was not the greatest guard dog. We thought that
- 10:47Speaker 7: he was going to be barking at people, and he
- 10:50Speaker 7: did the exact opposite.
- 10:51Speaker 1: He brought them toys.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Yeah, that video's so cute.
- 10:54Speaker 6: He, like, brings this big toy, and then his, like,
- 10:57Speaker 6: tail's wagging, and he just sits down like, hey.
- 11:00Speaker 2: I got my toy.
- 11:01Speaker 1: You're here to kill my family? You guys are here
- 11:03Speaker 1: to kill my family?
- 11:03Speaker 2: Can you throw this tennis ball for me? Maybe he
- 11:07Speaker 2: stalled them out playing with them. Who wouldn't play with
- 11:10Speaker 2: that cute dog? Even if you're a burglar.
- 11:11Speaker 1: The burglar did it.
- 11:12Speaker 2: He didn't take the bait.
- 11:13Speaker 1: We're going to get to some entertainment news first, though.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I thought this was incredible. And we've had this guy
- 11:20Speaker 1: on our show before. He did the national anthem at
- 11:23Speaker 1: the World Series. Dr. Jesse Maguire. We've had him on.
- 11:26Speaker 1: He's played his trumpet over the phone for us.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Yes, he has.
- 11:29Speaker 1: But this... It was big news, I thought. This sounded
- 11:31Speaker 1: so cool. So he's doing the National Anthem of the
- 11:33Speaker 1: Diamondbacks game, and his trumpet breaks.
- 11:35Speaker 2: How does that happen, by the way? So it starts
- 11:37Speaker 2: playing notes that he's not trying to play. So he
- 11:40Speaker 2: stops and he starts singing.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Man, can he sing?
- 11:43Speaker 4: Yeah, he's good.
- 11:43Speaker 2: I was impressed.
- 11:44Speaker 1: And I just, this is incredible. I was impressed.
- 12:15Speaker 7: And that's not like a song you can just whip
- 12:17Speaker 7: out and sing all night.
- 12:18Speaker 2: And he nailed it.
- 12:19Speaker 3: He truly did.
- 12:20Speaker 2: I would have gone into some Cardi B or something.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Or I probably, I would have been all like, hey.
- 12:24Speaker 1: The trumpet broke if you guys don't know.
- 12:27Speaker 2: You know how the rest of the song goes. Yeah.
- 12:30Speaker 2: You just get the crowd about, let's all sing it together.
