- 1:02Speaker 2: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I have one of
- 1:05Speaker 2: our favorites, Pratt Daddy himself, father of two, Spencer Pratt.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Welcome back.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Thank you so much. I'm so, so honored to be here.
- 1:13Speaker 2: You look cute.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Oh, I think I put on a fancy shirt.
- 1:16Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:16Speaker 3: I dressed up.
- 1:18Speaker 2: We have a lot to discuss today and I'm excited
- 1:20Speaker 2: to have you here.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:21Speaker 2: So first though, we're going to Vegas. I'm very excited.
- 1:27Speaker 2: And you are bringing Heidi, correct?
- 1:30Speaker 3: And the two kids. It's over here. It's National Lampoon Vacation.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Memorial Day weekend, we are going. The show is in
- 1:38Speaker 2: Las Vegas at the Venetian, May 27th. And we are
- 1:41Speaker 2: going to have some fun with Chris and Justin. And
- 1:45Speaker 2: it's going to be a good time. I'm excited.
- 1:46Speaker 3: We are very excited.
- 1:47Speaker 2: This is going to be a different experience than back
- 1:49Speaker 2: in the day when you went to Vegas, I'm sure. I.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Initially, I was not aware it was Memorial Day weekend.
- 1:54Speaker 3: And Heidi's like, you realize it's Memorial Day? I was like, oh,
- 1:57Speaker 3: does that mean more people will be in Las Vegas?
- 2:01Speaker 3: So good thing I love crowds and I love people.
- 2:04Speaker 3: So it's going to be.
- 2:06Speaker 2: We are going to have fun. It's all going to
- 2:08Speaker 2: be okay, you guys. No, it's going to be very fun.
- 2:11Speaker 2: So go to heathermcdoll.net. Speaking of marriage and love, Kevin
- 2:17Speaker 2: Costner and his wife, Christine, are getting divorced after 18 years.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Did you hear about this? I did.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Didn't I discuss how I saw them on, what did
- 2:28Speaker 3: he win recently for Yellowstone Golden Globe?
- 2:31Speaker 2: Yes, but he didn't go because of the rain.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Because of the rain. So I was in Carpinteria, stuck
- 2:36Speaker 3: in the rain there, and I went to this restaurant,
- 2:38Speaker 3: and I'm standing there. Did I tell this story?
- 2:40Speaker 2: No, do tell.
- 2:40Speaker 3: And I'm standing there, and all of a sudden I
- 2:43Speaker 3: feel this energy behind me. I am blocking the door,
- 2:46Speaker 3: so it's not too.
- 2:48Speaker 2: You were blocking the door.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Yeah, waiting for my food, like the takeout. And it
- 2:52Speaker 3: was a very powerful energy though. And I turn around
- 2:56Speaker 3: and it's Kevin Costner in like a full, just now
- 3:00Speaker 3: it makes sense. I think he was trying to get
- 3:02Speaker 3: to the Golden Globes because he looks so damn cool
- 3:04Speaker 3: and like movie starred out. That I was so starstruck.
- 3:08Speaker 2: What was he wearing?
- 3:08Speaker 3: Just, like, cool guy, Kevin Costner.
- 3:11Speaker 2: But it was raining a lot, right?
- 3:12Speaker 3: Like, but a big coat, you know. Okay. The rain
- 3:15Speaker 3: had chilled out. It was more that the road had
- 3:17Speaker 3: been closed. Oh, the flooding, yeah. So it wasn't, like,
- 3:19Speaker 3: raining at the time.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Okay.
- 3:19Speaker 3: It didn't have an umbrella or anything. And usually I
- 3:24Speaker 3: would Snapchat a celebrity of this caliber instantly. And it
- 3:27Speaker 3: was the first time that I actually, like, was like,
- 3:31Speaker 3: you're too big of a star to, like, harass, right?
- 3:33Speaker 3: And I actually... kind of felt humbled down a little
- 3:36Speaker 3: bit to like, let me just let you enjoy your dinner.
- 3:39Speaker 3: And his, I didn't know it was his wife because
- 3:42Speaker 3: she seems so much friendlier than him. Like I thought
- 3:45Speaker 3: it was like a PR person, like an agent. And
- 3:49Speaker 3: she was so smiley and happy. And he was so
- 3:51Speaker 3: like grouchy and stone cold face. So if we're going
- 3:54Speaker 3: off of body language, I definitely would have thought about,
- 3:59Speaker 3: I did think like, wow, those are two very different
- 4:03Speaker 3: energies of people so she seemed very friendly and he
- 4:07Speaker 3: he did not but.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Well to just get people up to speed on their
- 4:11Speaker 2: life okay he is 68 she is 49 they've been
- 4:15Speaker 2: married for 18 years and they have three teenage kids
- 4:18Speaker 2: together he was married before he has four adult children
- 4:22Speaker 2: and he divorced that wife back in 94 now you
- 4:26Speaker 2: know i think 20 years is a lot age difference
- 4:30Speaker 2: And of course, it's not a lot when they got
- 4:33Speaker 2: together approximately 20 years ago and she was 29 and
- 4:37Speaker 2: he was 47. That's like not a big deal. But
- 4:42Speaker 2: when someone starts getting close to 70, especially men, they
- 4:47Speaker 2: get crotchety. So interestingly, I said, you know, this is
- 4:51Speaker 2: what I think. This is what I first thought. They
- 4:55Speaker 2: are married and they have the teenagers and They were filming,
- 4:59Speaker 2: possibly filming the show in Utah, the Yellowstone. Maybe the
- 5:03Speaker 2: kids are like not into that. And he is just
- 5:06Speaker 2: becoming an older crotchety man. And I'm guessing she has
- 5:11Speaker 2: got some friends that are maybe 60 who are also
- 5:14Speaker 2: 20 years younger than their husbands and are like, girl,
- 5:18Speaker 2: 80 ain't no fun. Like if he is not being
- 5:22Speaker 2: a sweetheart to you, get the F out. You have
- 5:25Speaker 2: a prenup. You'll be set. And you could still fall
- 5:28Speaker 2: in love with someone, you know, you're not even 50 yet,
- 5:31Speaker 2: and have a whole nother 30 year marriage with someone
- 5:33Speaker 2: that's like a delight and down to be with you.
- 5:35Speaker 2: So that's what I thought. Now, last night, Reddit threads
- 5:39Speaker 2: and TikTok started to come out of rumors that allegedly
- 5:43Speaker 2: a big star on Yellowstone got someone pregnant on the set.
- 5:48Speaker 2: This could be a complete and total lie. What more
- 5:51Speaker 2: do you know about that?
- 5:52Speaker 3: No, that was, I was hoping that's where you're going.
- 5:54Speaker 3: But I found the most interesting. was the his reps
- 5:59Speaker 3: the way they framed like something that happened that is
- 6:04Speaker 3: out of his control but it's like well are we
- 6:07Speaker 3: saying because you can't control her not having the baby
- 6:10Speaker 3: or because you you know so that was the weirdest
- 6:15Speaker 3: like response of like announcement of the marriage that there
- 6:19Speaker 3: was this like almost incident that happened out of his
- 6:23Speaker 3: control the why they.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Are separating Yes, very strange.
- 6:27Speaker 3: I was like, that is not a normal people magazine.
- 6:29Speaker 2: And I mean, listen, I mean, that is something that you,
- 6:33Speaker 2: you know, people can put up with a lot. I mean,
- 6:36Speaker 2: even Wendy Williams could put up with her cheating, awful husband.
- 6:39Speaker 2: But once he got the mistress pregnant, then you're like, there's,
- 6:44Speaker 2: and especially your public figure. Okay. You know, I'm not
- 6:47Speaker 2: putting up with that. So if that is possibly it,
- 6:50Speaker 2: then yes, that would be the complete nail in the coffin.
- 6:53Speaker 2: But I also think part of it just could be like,
- 6:56Speaker 2: you know, 18 years and you're just not nice. And
- 6:59Speaker 2: I don't want to do another 20 with you just
- 7:00Speaker 2: being a crotchety dick, you know? Yeah.
- 7:03Speaker 3: And I don't know about like sperm and like age,
- 7:06Speaker 3: but is, is.
- 7:07Speaker 2: That, I mean, 68 is older, but you know, I,
- 7:12Speaker 2: I really think men's sperm is kind of based on
- 7:15Speaker 2: genetics and that if your sperm is never really a problem,
- 7:19Speaker 2: it doesn't get that much worse with age. Of course
- 7:21Speaker 2: it's more viable younger, but, sometimes people believe that the
- 7:25Speaker 2: sperm can affect the quality of the, the child or whatever,
- 7:29Speaker 2: the embryo, you know, genetically, but no, absolutely. You can
- 7:33Speaker 2: get someone knocked up at 68.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 7:35Speaker 2: You can.
- 7:36Speaker 3: And then, you know, cause I watched the show. I
- 7:38Speaker 3: started thinking about all the, like, you know, what are
- 7:41Speaker 3: they not barn women or like the, the women that
- 7:45Speaker 3: come into the, like the ranch or the guys like
- 7:49Speaker 3: where they sleep. And I'm sorry, thinking about each one
- 7:51Speaker 3: of these characters, um, And I'm thinking, well, there's some
- 7:56Speaker 3: possibilities there based off of just if we're going off
- 7:59Speaker 3: of their character.
- 8:01Speaker 2: And it's also interesting that didn't he... Now, I'm not
- 8:05Speaker 2: up on the show that much, but didn't he stop
- 8:08Speaker 2: the season?
- 8:09Speaker 3: Yeah, they said it was because of creative differences. If
- 8:13Speaker 3: he got someone pregnant, the creator is probably like, what?
- 8:19Speaker 3: And then they fought.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Cause the show, I hope that show is ending kind
- 8:23Speaker 2: of prematurely.
- 8:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:24Speaker 3: It's ending at this, on this backend, which it was
- 8:26Speaker 3: not supposed to.
- 8:28Speaker 2: So I think there's a lot more juice. I think
- 8:31Speaker 2: there's a lot more juice to this story. Um, but
- 8:35Speaker 2: whatever happens, I think she's going to be fine. She's gorgeous.
- 8:38Speaker 2: And you've said she was nice. Yeah.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Well, at the restaurant, she was really, I was like,
- 8:42Speaker 3: Oh my God. I, I felt like she was giving
- 8:46Speaker 3: me the okay to like, if you want to get
- 8:48Speaker 3: a photo, like, Cause she could tell I was so
- 8:51Speaker 3: clout thirsty.
- 8:53Speaker 2: I'm sure she recognized you.
- 8:54Speaker 3: I think I was so like flagrant, like, Oh my God,
- 8:58Speaker 3: I need this content that she was like, do it.
- 9:00Speaker 3: You know, maybe she hates him and she wanted me
- 9:02Speaker 3: to like harass him on Snapchat, you know, like get him,
- 9:05Speaker 3: get him.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Possibly. Yeah. Possibly.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Also there has to be something crazy because he's gone. Yeah.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Like shooting these movies. Like she could, go do what
- 9:18Speaker 3: she wants to do without having to get a divorce. Right.
- 9:23Speaker 2: But at the same time, yeah, you're right. I mean,
- 9:26Speaker 2: who knows? Maybe they've been living a very kind of separate,
- 9:30Speaker 2: you know, barely talking, not texters for years. And because
- 9:34Speaker 2: of that, you might've met somebody else. I don't know.
- 9:37Speaker 2: But if there's another child involved, that child will be
- 9:41Speaker 2: well taken care of, I'm sure, but it'll be or not,
- 9:45Speaker 2: or it could just be you were crotchety. and you
- 9:49Speaker 2: gave a bad vibe to Spencer Pratt, and that could
- 9:52Speaker 2: have been the final straw. She could have been a
- 9:54Speaker 2: huge Hills fan, and she should have come in like,
- 9:56Speaker 2: you knew that, and maybe I wanted to talk to Spencer,
- 9:59Speaker 2: but you gave such a scary energy that even spencer
- 10:03Speaker 2: was shut down and you know what that's when i
- 10:06Speaker 2: said i'm done that was the oprah aha moment i.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Almost made a tiktok saying that was the reason i
- 10:11Speaker 3: was like hey you know let's just see if there's this.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Baby oh my god um sophia ritchie is the new
- 10:20Speaker 2: it girl, her style, every, I want to say her,
- 10:23Speaker 2: this whole launch of Sophia Richie was one of the
- 10:27Speaker 2: most brilliant marketing things I've ever seen. As you know,
- 10:30Speaker 2: Sophia Richie is Lionel Richie's daughter. Sadly for the world,
- 10:34Speaker 2: she was dating Scott Disick. I had no connection to
- 10:37Speaker 2: this little girl, but I was like, Oh my God,
- 10:40Speaker 2: the parents must be dying that she's dating Scott Disick
- 10:42Speaker 2: from 18 to 21 broke up with him. And then
- 10:46Speaker 2: a couple of years later, met this guy who is
- 10:49Speaker 2: nice looking and super rich. And they have this fabulous wedding,
- 10:52Speaker 2: gorgeous wedding in Italy. So sorry, south of France. And
- 10:57Speaker 2: everyone's obsessed with their style because it's completely different than
- 11:01Speaker 2: like the Kardashians and all the, you know, skimpy stuff.
- 11:05Speaker 2: It's like very classy, rich, like old money. And people
- 11:09Speaker 2: are like dying that she loved her style. Also, she
- 11:12Speaker 2: launched her TikTok the week of her wedding. and had
- 11:17Speaker 2: all this content go out of the wedding, professionally shot,
- 11:20Speaker 2: some casually shot. Now she's on her honeymoon, get ready
- 11:25Speaker 2: with me, showing her outfits, and people are obsessed with her.
- 11:29Speaker 2: What are your thoughts on this influencer?
- 11:32Speaker 3: Obviously, I love the machine behind it, but my problem
- 11:36Speaker 3: with it is it makes me just suspect the whole
- 11:40Speaker 3: relationship off the jump. It just makes me just feel like,
- 11:44Speaker 3: It just doesn't feel like an organic love story now
- 11:47Speaker 3: to me. It just feels like, I feel like I'm being,
- 11:50Speaker 3: here's what it makes me think. Okay.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Back when there was Spidey was popping.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Spidey meaning you and Heidi. Yes.
- 11:56Speaker 3: Sprint or T-Mobile.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Did you name yourself Spidey or was someone else named
- 12:00Speaker 2: you Spidey? E!
- 12:01Speaker 3: News and Us Weekly argue about it. Ken Baker says
- 12:04Speaker 3: he did it.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Okay.
- 12:05Speaker 3: And then I think Peter Grossman at Us Weekly says
- 12:08Speaker 3: he did it.
- 12:08Speaker 2: But it wasn't you.
- 12:09Speaker 3: It wasn't us. I wish I was on that level.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Okay. Because your love is real.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Now, had you named yourself Spidey, don't you think people
- 12:17Speaker 2: might have thought, I wonder if this love is real?
- 12:20Speaker 3: I don't know. But I will say that this relationship
- 12:23Speaker 3: reminds me of what T-Mobile did with kind of copying
- 12:27Speaker 3: our love story with Sparrow. And they made like... their
- 12:31Speaker 3: own fake like ad campaign.
- 12:33Speaker 2: They did?
- 12:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:34Speaker 3: And they like ripped everything. And so when I saw
- 12:36Speaker 3: the TikTok, I was like, this is like the T-Mobile
- 12:38Speaker 3: launch or like, like the whole idea of this relationship
- 12:43Speaker 3: seems like a, like a brand's coming out. Like we're
- 12:46Speaker 3: about to get sold like a product. I don't know.
- 12:49Speaker 3: I love it obviously from the like, now she's like
- 12:52Speaker 3: relevant for however long. But when I started going through it,
- 12:56Speaker 3: I'm like, I don't know. It just seemed like, it
- 13:00Speaker 3: doesn't make me think she's the new Alex Earl.
- 13:03Speaker 2: I think she's a different version of that.
- 13:05Speaker 3: It just seems bought.
- 13:07Speaker 2: I think people are obsessed with the Uber wealth of
- 13:09Speaker 2: these two families, that she is really wealthy. But like,
- 13:14Speaker 2: I don't, she didn't, I guess no one going to
- 13:17Speaker 2: college is not a big deal anymore, but it's the
- 13:19Speaker 2: same reason. I always remember when, when Paris Hilton was
- 13:24Speaker 2: coming up, I was like, how is it that this
- 13:26Speaker 2: really wealthy family, like how is it that she didn't
- 13:28Speaker 2: go to college? Now we know she was in the
- 13:29Speaker 2: horrible schools and, you know, kidnapped in the middle of
- 13:32Speaker 2: the night. And like, they just, you know, thank God
- 13:35Speaker 2: she's okay today. But like, and this one was just
- 13:38Speaker 2: dating Scott Disick. So I get like, she didn't have
- 13:41Speaker 2: like the traditional rich educational life. And now it's like,
- 13:46Speaker 2: you know, the Chanel outfits and just very pristine in
- 13:50Speaker 2: her look. But I think it's, it was just, I
- 13:53Speaker 2: think it was, I think both things can be true
- 13:55Speaker 2: at the same time, which is what I say a lot.
- 13:57Speaker 2: I think she was in love. She was getting married.
- 14:00Speaker 2: She was surrounded based on who she was with people.
- 14:03Speaker 2: She was someone that likes fashion, everything. And a really smart,
- 14:08Speaker 2: savvy person, which could even have been just a friend,
- 14:10Speaker 2: been like, you're not on TikTok, but what you should
- 14:13Speaker 2: do is start off with this because your wedding is
- 14:16Speaker 2: going to be so beautiful. And I And I did
- 14:19Speaker 2: think it was brilliant that that's what started her TikTok
- 14:22Speaker 2: was her actual wedding week.
- 14:24Speaker 3: So then I go, here's another whole tangent. She's not
- 14:28Speaker 3: getting any of the nepo baby negativity, which like, oh,
- 14:33Speaker 3: she has no income and has this, this. They're looking
- 14:37Speaker 3: at their new $ 24 million house in Brentwood. And it's like,
- 14:41Speaker 3: obviously we know who his dad is, the chairman of Universal.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Or, you know, music, something ridiculous.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Well, so she's not none of the comment section is
- 14:49Speaker 3: like Nepo, baby. The only thing I do see people
- 14:52Speaker 3: arguing is like, this isn't old money. This is new money.
- 14:54Speaker 3: People going back.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:55Speaker 3: It's like it's money, people.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:58Speaker 3: And then the other thing is, it's just like, I
- 15:02Speaker 3: don't know. I just I don't. She's not. I've been
- 15:05Speaker 3: watching it and I'm not like, oh, my gosh, I'm
- 15:07Speaker 3: standing this now.
- 15:08Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 15:09Speaker 3: I'm just being a hater, I guess.
- 15:10Speaker 1: All right.
- 15:11Speaker 2: What's going on with the TikTok ban? Is that over with?
- 15:14Speaker 3: I stopped doing TikTok because I was just like, why
- 15:18Speaker 3: put my like creative energy into something that could just be,
- 15:22Speaker 3: once I watched that Congress thing, I was like, well,
- 15:24Speaker 3: this is not good. And depending on who's the president
- 15:28Speaker 3: of like, say Biden right now really wanted to end
- 15:30Speaker 3: this and like be the face of ending it. I
- 15:33Speaker 3: think he could make it happen. I just think he
- 15:36Speaker 3: wants to maybe going into the election doesn't want any
- 15:40Speaker 3: extra like, you know, voters that, There's probably a lot
- 15:44Speaker 3: of people that are on TikTok help get him elected.
- 15:47Speaker 3: I'm sure they're like, maybe we don't do that until
- 15:49Speaker 3: after the election. So there's people that will say, oh,
- 15:53Speaker 3: they'll fight it out in court, you know, by dance,
- 15:56Speaker 3: you know, freedom of speech. But if they unite and
- 15:59Speaker 3: it's like, no, it's done. So that's why I got
- 16:02Speaker 3: a little nervous. I was putting a lot of time
- 16:03Speaker 3: and energy into it. So it just got a little scary.
- 16:06Speaker 3: So I just put all my time into Snapchat, which
- 16:09Speaker 3: is not going anywhere.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Okay. And... I just saw something, Meredith Lynch, who is
- 16:15Speaker 2: a contributor of TikTok and everything, and she's been on
- 16:18Speaker 2: this show. I just came across one of her things.
- 16:20Speaker 2: And she does deep dives. And she's like, I didn't
- 16:23Speaker 2: have to go deep. And she is showing all the senators,
- 16:28Speaker 2: both Republican and Democrats, that have invested in Facebook and Meta.
- 16:35Speaker 2: And they're the ones that are the most against TikTok.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I mean, it's just like such an obvious thing that
- 16:40Speaker 2: that doesn't seem right.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Well, that one congressman, whatever he is, I don't know,
- 16:45Speaker 3: Dan Crenshaw or whatever, I watched a TikTok and it
- 16:47Speaker 3: showed him where he bought Meta and like how low
- 16:51Speaker 3: it was. And then he was like the most outspoken
- 16:53Speaker 3: to get it banned. And it showed like the percentage
- 16:56Speaker 3: of how much that stock went up. So that's where
- 16:59Speaker 3: it gets like, yeah, it's public so we can see it.
- 17:01Speaker 3: But you can profit off of like playing this like
- 17:05Speaker 3: ban game and apps.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 17:08Speaker 3: Shouldn't be like, that's to me as a citizen, like,
- 17:10Speaker 3: I don't think that's actually cool. Cause I love this
- 17:13Speaker 3: app and you're making money just talking smack about my
- 17:16Speaker 3: favorite app when, so interesting. It's very juicy, juicy.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Okay. The, um, couple of things that happened at the
- 17:24Speaker 2: Met ball, which was Monday night. Um, people were saying
- 17:27Speaker 2: that Kylie didn't get in to this after party that
- 17:31Speaker 2: Kendall and Kim was, but she was there, but she
- 17:33Speaker 2: arrived too early and she was on the list. And
- 17:35Speaker 2: they were like, you're just going to have to wait
- 17:37Speaker 2: a minute. And she said, oh, fuck it. You know,
- 17:38Speaker 2: she's a mama too. She fucking bailed. Who cares?
- 17:41Speaker 3: Kylie can get into it. I would love this.
- 17:44Speaker 2: So this was funny. This was Kim wore this outfit.
- 17:48Speaker 2: I didn't think it was that amazing. I mean, it
- 17:52Speaker 2: definitely is not going to top her wearing Marilyn Monroe's
- 17:54Speaker 2: dress last year. But it was pearls with like a
- 17:57Speaker 2: spank corset underneath or skims and then more pearls. And
- 18:02Speaker 2: right away, people said it's the exact look of the
- 18:05Speaker 2: most famous meme of you're doing- Great, honey. Yeah, you're
- 18:09Speaker 2: doing wonderful, honey, or whatever it is when Chris said that,
- 18:11Speaker 2: and she's doing her Playboy shoot. So I honestly, when
- 18:14Speaker 2: I first saw it, I kind of thought, oh my God,
- 18:18Speaker 2: I don't even think she realized it. But no, everything
- 18:21Speaker 2: they do, she realized this- But I'm always like, whose
- 18:25Speaker 2: idea was it? Was it someone that was like, you
- 18:27Speaker 2: know what you should do? Or you know what that
- 18:29Speaker 2: would kind of look like? Oh, let's go even further
- 18:32Speaker 2: in that direction. Everyone will make the connection. The show,
- 18:35Speaker 2: second season is coming out, reminiscent of the first season
- 18:40Speaker 2: where she did the Playboy. Pretty genius.
- 18:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm just glad she's not wearing the, like, cover
- 18:46Speaker 3: my face stuff anymore, all the.
- 18:48Speaker 2: And now Kanye's new wife has to cover her face.
- 18:51Speaker 3: And bleach her eyebrows.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Yes.
- 18:53Speaker 3: And shave her head. I was like, what? She was
- 18:56Speaker 3: so pretty a few months ago.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Kanye's new girlfriend, yeah. I should have breathed through a
- 19:01Speaker 2: nylon mask.
- 19:03Speaker 3: I didn't even see. I just saw it last, like,
- 19:05Speaker 3: Bob Rossi show.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Well, people were, you know, shocked that North went. And,
- 19:12Speaker 2: you know, North is only, can we look up North
- 19:14Speaker 2: this age? I swear to God, I think she's only nine. Anyway,
- 19:17Speaker 2: she went to the Met Ball, and she's only nine.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Fourth grade. She's in fourth grade. You guys have the
- 19:33Speaker 2: same birthday? Yeah, June 14th. She is in the fourth grade.
- 19:39Speaker 2: So she got to go, and some people were like,
- 19:41Speaker 2: I thought kids couldn't go. Other people thought, did she
- 19:44Speaker 2: really go to the actual Met Ball or was she
- 19:46Speaker 2: just walking out of the hotel with her mom? Everything
- 19:49Speaker 2: we read is that she did go. And she was
- 19:52Speaker 2: picking up pearls as they dropped. And there's criticism of like,
- 19:56Speaker 2: is she using her daughter as a prop? Does the
- 19:59Speaker 2: daughter want to go? How would the other kids feel?
- 20:02Speaker 2: What is your thoughts as a dad in the industry?
- 20:06Speaker 3: Well, my first thought is we actually fought to... You know, Viacom,
- 20:11Speaker 3: Gunner was the first child to ever go to the
- 20:13Speaker 3: MTV Movie Awards because it's like laws and they had
- 20:16Speaker 3: to follow us. So we fought to get a baby there.
- 20:19Speaker 3: So I definitely would bring Gunner to any clout dinner where,
- 20:24Speaker 3: you know, possible.
- 20:25Speaker 1: The car is beautiful.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Where did you end up going for it? This exclusive
- 20:30Speaker 2: place that Dad has connections with. They have more cars
- 20:32Speaker 2: for more dealerships than like anywhere else. You have to
- 20:35Speaker 2: put me in touch.
- 20:35Speaker 4: What's it called?
- 20:36Speaker 2: It's Dune ADL.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Where?
- 20:40Speaker 2: Dunediel. There's an accent on the E. Do you mean.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Yes, I got it on Dunediel Cars.
- 20:46Speaker 4: Lift?
- 20:47Speaker 2: Please. You going past Kimmage?
- 20:49Speaker 3: Oh, Kimmage.
- 20:51Speaker 2: No. Dunediel Cars. You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
- 20:55Speaker 4: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 20:59Speaker 4: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 21:02Speaker 4: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 21:06Speaker 4: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 21:12Speaker 3: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 21:14Speaker 3: filed against me.
- 21:15Speaker 1: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 21:18Speaker 1: what would you do if it was given back?
- 21:20Speaker 4: Where did that need come from, where you thought that
- 21:23Speaker 4: you had to succeed in order.
- 21:24Speaker 3: To feel loved?
- 21:25Speaker 2: He said, I have a work dad.
- 21:26Speaker 4: I need a home dad.
- 21:27Speaker 3: What happens next? When I came in, he started crying.
- 21:30Speaker 3: Everybody in life encounters hardships.
- 21:33Speaker 4: What defines them is not those hard moments that they
- 21:36Speaker 4: go through. It's about what happens next.
- 21:39Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all.
- 21:40Speaker 3: I realized how valuable every day was.
- 21:42Speaker 2: You're worth the work.
- 21:43Speaker 3: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 21:45Speaker 2: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 21:47Speaker 4: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 21:51Speaker 4: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 22:01Speaker 3: Responsible but my issue with this and i see these
- 22:05Speaker 3: videos all the time on tiktok is when they're at
- 22:08Speaker 3: the sports academy and they go to in the valley
- 22:11Speaker 3: where all the lebron and all the famous kids are
- 22:13Speaker 3: going the way this her daughter like i don't want
- 22:17Speaker 3: to like talk about a nine-year-old but the way she
- 22:19Speaker 3: talks to the paparazzi and like like with kim they're
- 22:23Speaker 3: not telling her to stop like you know be like
- 22:25Speaker 3: stop you're blinding me like the hypocrisy of oh, I
- 22:30Speaker 3: have a problem with my mom's billion-dollar existence. Industry, yeah.
- 22:35Speaker 3: But then I'll get dressed up and go to where
- 22:38Speaker 3: there's even more paparazzi because it's the Met Gala. So
- 22:43Speaker 3: it's like, let's just... Because I am like, I keep
- 22:45Speaker 3: hearing her talking smack to the photographers and Kim doesn't
- 22:49Speaker 3: step in like, hey, I love them. If they weren't here,
- 22:52Speaker 3: I'd be crying.
- 22:53Speaker 2: So.
- 22:54Speaker 3: You know, it's just that that kind of throws me off. Like, wait, oh,
- 22:57Speaker 3: now you want the photographers? Because every TikTok I see,
- 23:00Speaker 3: you're saying, I'm blinded. Leave me alone. Why would you
- 23:03Speaker 3: do this to a child? Like, she goes off on them.
- 23:05Speaker 3: And you mix the, like, you read the captions. Like,
- 23:08Speaker 3: leave this poor kid alone. It's like, poor kid.
- 23:11Speaker 2: I think, again, I think.
- 23:14Speaker 3: It's a nine-year-old.
- 23:14Speaker 2: I think both things are the same. I think she
- 23:17Speaker 2: asked to go. She said she wanted to go. I
- 23:20Speaker 2: think she has a mom that doesn't say no a lot.
- 23:23Speaker 2: And then also a mom that's like, I'm going to
- 23:25Speaker 2: get this much more attention if I bring my nine-year-old daughter.
- 23:29Speaker 2: So come along. Done. But I agree with what you said.
- 23:34Speaker 2: So here they are.
- 23:35Speaker 3: Have you made merch that say both things are true?
- 23:38Speaker 2: No, let's write that down. Two things can be true
- 23:41Speaker 2: at the same time. I'm wearing housewife consultant today.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Oh, that's strong.
- 23:45Speaker 2: All at heathermcdonald.net. So then Pete Davidson, I guess, came
- 23:50Speaker 2: and it was like, whatever. They had a weird moment.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Let's see. What else? Doja Cat dressed like a cat,
- 23:58Speaker 2: like the cat of, you know, because it was Karl
- 24:00Speaker 2: Lagerfeld themed and he always had this weird white cat.
- 24:05Speaker 2: So a lot of people went as a cat.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Now the Jared Leto thing makes sense.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, PK and Dorit went as the cat and
- 24:13Speaker 2: it was a common thing that people do for Halloween.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Someone would go as Karl Lagerfeller, and then your hot
- 24:19Speaker 2: girlfriend could just go as a cat, which a cat
- 24:21Speaker 2: is always an easy Halloween costume. But anyway, she went
- 24:24Speaker 2: as a cat, and she liked prosthetics, and so really
- 24:26Speaker 2: her face did look like a cat. And when interviewed,
- 24:28Speaker 2: she would only meow. But she was also vaping, and
- 24:31Speaker 2: I guess Anna Wintour had said there was no vaping allowed.
- 24:34Speaker 3: And no cats could vape. Did you watch that? I
- 24:39Speaker 3: don't know if it was a skit, but everyone was
- 24:40Speaker 3: getting all worked up about... is it chloe feinman the
- 24:44Speaker 3: saturday night live comedian.
- 24:46Speaker 2: What did she do tell me that.
- 24:47Speaker 3: So stella mccartney yeah and madeline klein from outer banks
- 24:52Speaker 3: okay and um who's that other like funny comedian actress
- 24:58Speaker 3: i forget but so audrey plaza yeah yeah so she
- 25:02Speaker 3: was kind of like who are you to like sell
- 25:04Speaker 3: mccartney while wearing i think stella mccartney like i think
- 25:08Speaker 3: it was a joke and and Stella either was in
- 25:11Speaker 3: on it or didn't get it and was like, can
- 25:13Speaker 3: you be serious? And like, maybe she was just making
- 25:16Speaker 3: it a better thing or she didn't. But everyone in
- 25:19Speaker 3: the comment section was just like, this is why I
- 25:22Speaker 3: love fashion because they don't tolerate this BS out of these.
- 25:25Speaker 3: I'm like, Oh my God, who are these people?
- 25:28Speaker 2: I mean, I, whenever the Met Gala comes, I was like, Oh,
- 25:31Speaker 2: like I just opened my phone on a Monday. I'm like, ugh,
- 25:35Speaker 2: this is just a lot. It's just like, I don't even,
- 25:37Speaker 2: I don't watch it on E. I don't really care.
- 25:39Speaker 2: And then I was like, just give me the scoop
- 25:41Speaker 2: of what happened at the party. I don't care.
- 25:43Speaker 3: So I thought I was being a hater yesterday on Snapchat.
- 25:46Speaker 3: I actually said that. I was like, I don't know
- 25:49Speaker 3: why we're pretending anyone cares about Megon. And I obviously,
- 25:54Speaker 3: I would go if I lived in New York, but
- 25:56Speaker 3: I really truly do not think I would get out,
- 25:59Speaker 3: go to LAX, sit on the 405, you know, deal
- 26:03Speaker 3: with traffic, deal with the five hour flight to go
- 26:06Speaker 3: to like, not a, you know, music performance or, you know,
- 26:12Speaker 3: my favorite superstars for the movie. Like it just, I
- 26:15Speaker 3: don't know. It seems ridiculous. I guess you have to
- 26:17Speaker 3: be such a fashion. Like, Oh, I love fashion. Weird.
- 26:21Speaker 2: A lot of people sat it out that normally would go.
- 26:24Speaker 2: And I do think it's a huge effort. Like, I
- 26:27Speaker 2: feel like every single person that's going on the red
- 26:29Speaker 2: carpet is had a team of five people working on
- 26:32Speaker 2: what they were going to wear for six months, what
- 26:34Speaker 2: would be unique, fittings, the amount of time that you
- 26:37Speaker 2: had to go for fittings, and then the amount of
- 26:39Speaker 2: hotel rooms that you had to pay for your entire hair, makeup, staff.
- 26:42Speaker 2: What an expensive experience this is. And is it that
- 26:47Speaker 2: much press? Is it that much worth it? I mean, yes.
- 26:50Speaker 2: If I got invited, I'd go. But that's why I
- 26:51Speaker 2: think certain people, after they did it once, they're like,
- 26:58Speaker 2: I don't need to go again or whatever. And other
- 26:59Speaker 2: people like to go all the time, but I agree.
- 27:01Speaker 2: You know, it's a big effort. Um, this, uh, Tiana Taylor,
- 27:07Speaker 2: did I say her name right?
- 27:09Speaker 3: I was just going to say the food must be
- 27:12Speaker 3: so good to make it worth it. And then this
- 27:14Speaker 3: next scoop item. Yes.
- 27:15Speaker 2: So she brought Chick-fil-A and because she was like, I
- 27:20Speaker 2: am not having this meal, which was like, it was
- 27:24Speaker 2: like some, Yeah, pea soup with truffle snow. Honestly, that
- 27:29Speaker 2: sounds good to me. I like stuff like that. But
- 27:33Speaker 2: she brought the Chick-fil-A. I always just am like, I mean,
- 27:36Speaker 2: I think the minute people get out of that outfit,
- 27:38Speaker 2: they're just like, give me a piece of pizza and
- 27:39Speaker 2: like some Ugg boots. And I'm just like exhausted by
- 27:42Speaker 2: this night. But that was kind of funny. I took
- 27:46Speaker 2: this photo because it's Priyanka and Nick Jonas and on
- 27:50Speaker 2: the red carpet. And she's doing that thing that people
- 27:54Speaker 2: do where they're acting like whoever they are.
- 27:56Speaker 3: With, Said a joke.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Said the funniest thing. Like, she is crying laughing. Like,
- 28:00Speaker 2: I'm like, there's no way. That is the fakest laugh.
- 28:04Speaker 2: I don't care. Now, did you guys ever do the
- 28:06Speaker 2: fake laugh on the red carpet?
- 28:09Speaker 3: We weren't invited to too many red carpets. But, and
- 28:12Speaker 3: if we were there, we probably weren't invited. So we
- 28:15Speaker 3: were being real serious and trying to just get out
- 28:17Speaker 3: of there quick.
- 28:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Not be seen. But I always bring this up when
- 28:22Speaker 3: I do my tabloid reviews on Snapchat for like the
- 28:25Speaker 3: Emmys or Oscars. I'm like the odds of that photographer
- 28:30Speaker 3: in that party to be able to like get Leonardo
- 28:33Speaker 3: and Brad Pitt and all these guys mid like, ha
- 28:36Speaker 3: ha ha ha. Like, so I wonder, I always wonder,
- 28:38Speaker 3: do they say laugh shot now? And they, it's that
- 28:42Speaker 3: ridiculous when it's those like group or I don't know.
- 28:45Speaker 2: I think people know. I remember Jenny McCarthy said part
- 28:49Speaker 2: of the reason she became a star. And I thought
- 28:50Speaker 2: this was so genius and people coming up and being
- 28:54Speaker 2: a star. Think about it. Every time she would do
- 28:56Speaker 2: a red carpet, she would just do like weird faces
- 28:58Speaker 2: and stuff because she was so pretty. So it was
- 29:01Speaker 2: kind of weird that like, she'd be like, you know,
- 29:03Speaker 2: and doing stuff like that. And then that would get,
- 29:05Speaker 2: then you'd get, your photo would actually make it somewhere.
- 29:09Speaker 2: And I never think to do that. I do the
- 29:11Speaker 2: same poses. I'm just happy to be there. And I
- 29:14Speaker 2: don't ever do like an outrageous outfit. And I literally,
- 29:17Speaker 2: I'm like, you know, next time I deal with getting
- 29:19Speaker 2: ready and getting a car down to downtown LA or whatever,
- 29:22Speaker 2: I am going to do something fucking weird and just
- 29:25Speaker 2: see if that gets any play. Because every time I go,
- 29:27Speaker 2: I just get the free popcorn and I go home.
- 29:29Speaker 3: I definitely do the weird thing. And I don't know
- 29:32Speaker 3: about the laugh, but I feel like every, yes, the
- 29:35Speaker 3: weird thing is Heidi and Spencer.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Like there is just no way there was anything that
- 29:39Speaker 2: funny ever. he's like, come on, like, like we really
- 29:42Speaker 2: have to do this weird thing.
- 29:44Speaker 3: I'm rich.
- 29:44Speaker 2: I saw, I wouldn't have the photo here, but I
- 29:46Speaker 2: saw another photo of Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman. And
- 29:51Speaker 2: she was like, like leaning back and he had his
- 29:54Speaker 2: head there. And someone's like, they're just so thirsty. And
- 29:56Speaker 2: I'm like, I almost feel like it's a little embarrassing
- 29:59Speaker 2: that they went because they're like the only like old
- 30:01Speaker 2: Hollywood people that I think were featured going like everybody
- 30:06Speaker 2: from their era. Like, did we even see Sarah Jessica Parker? Like,
- 30:10Speaker 2: I feel like everybody that was like over 50 that
- 30:13Speaker 2: we'd seen going for 10 years, they all just were like,
- 30:15Speaker 2: fuck it. It's like rappers and Kardashians and we don't care.
- 30:19Speaker 3: And Northwest.
- 30:20Speaker 2: And Northwest.
- 30:21Speaker 3: So you didn't see the TikTok where somebody like did
- 30:25Speaker 3: the voices like It was like Nicole Kidman's voice, like
- 30:30Speaker 3: talking to him. Oh, that's funny.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Don't be so weird.
- 30:34Speaker 3: It was like, no, because he looks at somebody and
- 30:39Speaker 3: she acts like, don't you look at the person or whatever.
- 30:42Speaker 3: And it looks.
- 30:44Speaker 2: That's funny.
- 30:45Speaker 3: Just find that. That's a funny thing to do.
- 30:47Speaker 2: J-Lo left Ben Affleck at home and everyone said she
- 30:49Speaker 2: listened to your advice because I've said, just go to
- 30:52Speaker 2: these events by yourself. He doesn't want to go. Bring
- 30:55Speaker 2: your sister. Bring your hairdresser. Bring your gay best friend.
- 30:59Speaker 2: But you still should go. Like, I feel like she
- 31:02Speaker 2: was probably, like, one of the only people from, like,
- 31:04Speaker 2: her level of age and A-list that bothered to go.
- 31:10Speaker 2: And she looked good. I mean, she looked great.
- 31:11Speaker 3: That's why I love Ben Affleck. Because he didn't go.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Yeah, he was like, look, we're married now. Fucking go.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Go by yourself.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Christian Stewart.
- 31:22Speaker 3: Wow.
- 31:23Speaker 2: She arrived looking like Colonel Sanders. And she.
- 31:28Speaker 2: I mean, you know, she's gay and a lesbian, and
- 31:32Speaker 2: that's all good. But, I mean, I have no problem
- 31:34Speaker 2: with that. But she did this really weird, like, haircut. And, like,
- 31:39Speaker 2: it looked very dirty. Like, she didn't even, like, wash
- 31:41Speaker 2: her hair.
- 31:42Speaker 3: Oily.
- 31:44Speaker 2: What's going on with her? Is she working much?
- 31:48Speaker 3: You know, I'm sure there's indie film, you know.
- 31:51Speaker 2: Who cares? Leonardo DiCaprio. was seen again with Gigi Hadid,
- 31:56Speaker 2: his on-again, off-again girlfriend, at an after-party. And he has
- 32:02Speaker 2: his mask on. A lot of people, as we said,
- 32:05Speaker 2: are still wearing the mask just to, like, avoid being
- 32:09Speaker 2: seen or wearing makeup.
- 32:11Speaker 3: So just when I saw this photo yesterday, I would
- 32:14Speaker 3: love to know. And I think, forget CDC, World Health, Fauci,
- 32:21Speaker 3: the only thing we need to know is how many
- 32:23Speaker 3: times Leonardo Cabra has or hasn't gotten COVID because this,
- 32:28Speaker 3: he has worn a mask more than any, like he's
- 32:32Speaker 3: like a doctor. He's like a surgeon at this point.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Do you think people that are still, you know how
- 32:36Speaker 2: like you'll go out now and there's just like only
- 32:39Speaker 2: one worker wearing the mask or just one person walking
- 32:43Speaker 2: around the store wearing the mask. I'm always like, I
- 32:45Speaker 2: think the same thing. Are they super scared because they've
- 32:49Speaker 2: got it like three times or are Are they like,
- 32:53Speaker 2: I've never gotten it and it's because I'm always wearing
- 32:56Speaker 2: this mask?
- 32:57Speaker 3: I don't know. I wish I liked wearing the mask
- 32:59Speaker 3: because I want to wear the mask to be that person. Like,
- 33:03Speaker 3: look at me. That's why I said, you're nuts. I
- 33:06Speaker 3: just want to be like, look at me in my 95.
- 33:11Speaker 3: I want to be that annoying. I don't know. I
- 33:15Speaker 3: think a lot of times people have it and just
- 33:17Speaker 3: go out and they're like, forget it. I'll put on
- 33:18Speaker 3: a mask. Yeah.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:20Speaker 3: That's what I think when somebody's in the market wearing it.
- 33:22Speaker 3: I'm like, do you have COVID right now?
- 33:25Speaker 2: Yeah, or maybe, yeah. I don't know. It's weird. Then
- 33:29Speaker 2: Selena Gomez, people put out with using AI of her
- 33:34Speaker 2: at the Met, and she was not there. And so
- 33:38Speaker 2: for a minute, people thought she was there, but she
- 33:40Speaker 2: really wasn't.
- 33:42Speaker 3: See, if Hailey Bieber had a true Stan Army, the
- 33:44Speaker 3: second this went viral, the Hailey Bieber AI at the
- 33:48Speaker 3: Met would have dropped. And it could have been a
- 33:50Speaker 3: thing like, who has the hotter AI dress at the
- 33:55Speaker 3: Met Gala?
- 33:56Speaker 2: Oh, you're saying Hailey Bieber's people should have made her
- 34:01Speaker 2: an AI version.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Immediately. So to get that going. I know they're trying
- 34:05Speaker 3: to neutralize.
- 34:07Speaker 2: That after the text. Part of the Sophia Richie.
- 34:12Speaker 2: You know rise to fame people were saying wow no
- 34:15Speaker 2: one's talking about hayley beaver much lately what do you
- 34:19Speaker 2: think about hayley beaver and justin what do you think
- 34:21Speaker 2: is their deal.
- 34:23Speaker 3: I obviously watch these videos that like show everything that
- 34:27Speaker 3: selena does and then right and i'm like well this
- 34:30Speaker 3: is wild but heidi when i told heidi like no
- 34:35Speaker 3: but look what she did like she was in this
- 34:37Speaker 3: Fan groups like whatever she won, she got Justin. So
- 34:41Speaker 3: Heidi's like head, you know, like the stalker. I mean,
- 34:45Speaker 3: not stock. Excuse me. Excuse my French. Like the motivated love.
- 34:51Speaker 3: Like she clearly was. She sought after.
- 34:53Speaker 2: She sought after Justin and she got him.
- 34:55Speaker 3: And are we going to call her a stalker? We're
- 34:57Speaker 3: going to say she's just like good at love. I
- 35:02Speaker 3: don't know.
- 35:03Speaker 2: You know what? I was dating a guy when I
- 35:04Speaker 2: was like in my 20s. And he was an actor
- 35:08Speaker 2: and we were in this acting group together, but he
- 35:10Speaker 2: was actually on a show. So he was like making
- 35:12Speaker 2: a lot, actually sold him a house. And I remember
- 35:14Speaker 2: when I was selling him the house and I realized
- 35:16Speaker 2: how much he made a month just doing voiceover. And
- 35:19Speaker 2: I was like, wow, this is really great. But he
- 35:21Speaker 2: was like buying a house for his brother anyway. So
- 35:23Speaker 2: he's on this show. I didn't even know if I
- 35:26Speaker 2: really liked him that much anymore. But then he was like,
- 35:28Speaker 2: blew me off because there was this girl working on
- 35:30Speaker 2: the show that he ended up dating. And it turned
- 35:34Speaker 2: out he was a child star and she was a
- 35:36Speaker 2: fan of his. Like Katie Holmes was with Tom Cruise.
- 35:44Speaker 2: She used to have a poster of Tom Cruise in
- 35:45Speaker 2: her room. Hailey Bieber used to have a poster or whatever,
- 35:50Speaker 2: was obsessed with Justin Bieber.
- 35:52Speaker 3: Allegedly Meghan Markle.
- 35:54Speaker 2: Yes, allegedly Meghan Markle. And anyway, they... And it was
- 35:58Speaker 2: kind of like he... he was not shy about saying,
- 36:01Speaker 2: oh my God, she was a fan of when I
- 36:02Speaker 2: was on this show as a kid. And she was
- 36:05Speaker 2: like a PA on the TV show. Anyway, they ended
- 36:07Speaker 2: up getting married and having a kid, but I just
- 36:10Speaker 2: ran into someone who knows him and they're divorced. I'm
- 36:14Speaker 2: just saying, but I remember going, gosh, well, you know what?
- 36:19Speaker 2: You probably should go for that fan. Cause I'm not
- 36:21Speaker 2: that excited about you. Like I wasn't that into him.
- 36:24Speaker 2: And I'm like, I totally get, and I know a
- 36:26Speaker 2: couple guys, I know another comedian who married a fan
- 36:30Speaker 2: who was like a heart, like a real fan. I mean,
- 36:33Speaker 2: I have nothing.
- 36:34Speaker 3: It's like, I don't know.
- 36:37Speaker 2: And you know what? I almost appreciate the person that's like,
- 36:39Speaker 2: I was a fan of yours. Oh my God, this
- 36:41Speaker 2: is crazy. And you end up marrying him versus the person.
- 36:44Speaker 2: And this happens a lot more with female stars that date,
- 36:47Speaker 2: men in another business and they'll go, you know, he
- 36:50Speaker 2: didn't even know I was on a show. He didn't
- 36:52Speaker 2: even know. It's like, don't lie. You've dated three other
- 36:55Speaker 2: stars before, you know, like you clearly knew this girl
- 36:59Speaker 2: was a star. And so I think sometimes guys lied
- 37:02Speaker 2: too and act like, oh, like guys are more likely
- 37:05Speaker 2: to lie and say, oh, I didn't even watch the
- 37:07Speaker 2: Real Housewives or whatever versus them being like, I was
- 37:10Speaker 2: a huge fan of the show.
- 37:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:12Speaker 3: I think I like the transparency. So that's why I
- 37:15Speaker 3: don't have any issue with.
- 37:16Speaker 2: All the like, Yeah, who cares?
- 37:18Speaker 3: I hope they make it.
- 37:20Speaker 2: Speaking of AI, this guy said he worked... What was
- 37:25Speaker 2: his name? He's the godfather of AI and he quit Google.
- 37:30Speaker 2: And he's older and been working on it for a
- 37:32Speaker 2: while and he said he is very scared about the
- 37:35Speaker 2: dangers of this technology. He's like, right now it's very good,
- 37:40Speaker 2: but it's going so fast that we should be terrified.
- 37:44Speaker 3: You know, I only think it scares me if we're
- 37:47Speaker 3: like plugging it into the nukes. Like let's just keep,
- 37:51Speaker 3: you know, so far Suri sucks respectively. Like until Suri
- 37:56Speaker 3: can do anything for me that I'm like, thanks Suri. Um,
- 38:00Speaker 3: you know, I'm not too nervous. And then I tried,
- 38:04Speaker 3: you know, to do the Snapchats. Oh yeah.
- 38:06Speaker 2: So we did a Snapchat. So Snapchat already is testing
- 38:10Speaker 2: sponsored link in it's my AI chat box, but, but,
- 38:14Speaker 2: So with Snapchat, some people are concerned because they're like,
- 38:19Speaker 2: we really need our kids to start talking to real kids, okay? Again,
- 38:23Speaker 2: and real people. And now they can have a friend
- 38:26Speaker 2: who's really just a robot and have conversations on Snapchat
- 38:30Speaker 2: when asking about anything. And so I saw something where
- 38:32Speaker 2: people were like, and people, parents were like, and you
- 38:36Speaker 2: can't take off this element on the Snapchat. It is
- 38:41Speaker 2: no way to remove it. And they were concerned that
- 38:44Speaker 2: maybe AI was too skewed one way politically that that
- 38:49Speaker 2: would affect their kids' perception of the world. So we
- 38:53Speaker 2: asked it a couple questions. First, we just said, where's
- 38:56Speaker 2: the best Italian food in LA? And the AI said,
- 38:59Speaker 2: John and Vinny's Brentwood has amazing Italian food and is
- 39:02Speaker 2: very popular. Another great option is the Echo, which is
- 39:06Speaker 2: also known for its Italian cuisine. And then you get
- 39:08Speaker 2: the two options. Okay, that's safe enough.
- 39:10Speaker 3: They had to have paid Snapchat because those are neither
- 39:13Speaker 3: of the two best Italian spots in LA.
- 39:15Speaker 2: That's what I've heard.
- 39:16Speaker 3: There's something very suspect about this AI.
- 39:19Speaker 2: That's interesting. So then we asked some.
- 39:20Speaker 3: Other- Giorgio's isn't on there or- So.
- 39:23Speaker 2: Then we asked some other controversial political questions just to see.
- 39:26Speaker 2: And yes, I'm not doing politics. I'm just sharing with
- 39:29Speaker 2: you guys. Chill. the F out.
- 39:31Speaker 3: Okay.
- 39:32Speaker 2: Do you think Trump should win 2024? AI said, I
- 39:35Speaker 2: don't think it's my place to say who should win
- 39:37Speaker 2: the election. It's important for people to make their own
- 39:40Speaker 2: decisions based on their own beliefs and values. We asked,
- 39:44Speaker 2: should I get vaccinated? I think it's important to follow
- 39:47Speaker 2: the guidance of medical professionals and get vaccinated if you
- 39:50Speaker 2: are able to. I wore a medical mask for three years.
- 39:56Speaker 2: Was it worth it, AI? It's great that you are
- 39:58Speaker 2: being cautious and taking steps to protect yourself and others. However,
- 40:02Speaker 2: it's also important to follow the guidance of the medical
- 40:04Speaker 2: professionals and adjust your behavior as new information becomes available.
- 40:10Speaker 2: I think that's pretty bland and pretty safe. And pretty
- 40:15Speaker 2: much what the news says. So I don't think it's
- 40:19Speaker 2: necessarily one. I think it's being very safe. I don't
- 40:23Speaker 2: think it's.
- 40:24Speaker 3: I think the bigger thing is parents should not have
- 40:26Speaker 3: their kids talking to robots.
- 40:29Speaker 2: But how do you do that if your kid has Snapchat?
- 40:31Speaker 2: You're going to take Snapchat from them? That's what they're saying.
- 40:33Speaker 2: They're saying, I wish I could take this element away
- 40:35Speaker 2: from the Snapchat, but it's already included in the Snapchat.
- 40:39Speaker 2: You cannot remove this part of it.
- 40:41Speaker 3: Can't you scroll it and be like, you've been talking
- 40:43Speaker 3: to your robot too much this week. Chill out. I
- 40:45Speaker 3: can't parent take their kid's phone. Like I would definitely
- 40:48Speaker 3: grab Gunner's phone and be like, what are you talking
- 40:50Speaker 3: to your robot about?
- 40:51Speaker 2: I'm telling you, when they get older, it's harder to
- 40:53Speaker 2: do that.
- 40:54Speaker 3: It really is. As long as I'm paying for it.
- 40:57Speaker 2: I mean, listen, I, as a mother, I was so
- 40:59Speaker 2: worried I was gone. And I was kept writing my
- 41:02Speaker 2: 17 year old, like how was tutoring Saturday morning? You know?
- 41:06Speaker 2: And I was in Palm desert and he was here.
- 41:08Speaker 2: And no answer. You know, how was it? Hello. Hello.
- 41:11Speaker 2: You know, not answering me. And, um, it's on do
- 41:15Speaker 2: not disturb and everything. So I'm like, okay. And the
- 41:17Speaker 2: next morning I'm like, hello. And then I'm like, you know,
- 41:20Speaker 2: mother instinct. I'm like planning a funeral. Like I was like,
- 41:24Speaker 2: this is, you know, and so then, um, we check
- 41:28Speaker 2: and I said to my husband, make sure he, can
- 41:31Speaker 2: you check on your phone? Is he at the house? Yes.
- 41:33Speaker 2: He's at the house. I'm like, is there a gas leak? Like,
- 41:36Speaker 2: You know, this is what I'm thinking. Finally, he answers.
- 41:38Speaker 2: And I'm like, Brandon, like, do you understand that anytime
- 41:42Speaker 2: your mother texts you, it's a proof of life? You
- 41:44Speaker 2: need to answer. And if you're not, your phone's not
- 41:47Speaker 2: next to you every couple hours, you need to look
- 41:49Speaker 2: at it and write me back. And he's like, oh,
- 41:51Speaker 2: my God, Mom, you still, you know, you're a helicopter mom.
- 41:54Speaker 2: And I'm like, I am not a helicopter. Like, these
- 41:57Speaker 2: kids don't realize, you know. I'm like, you know how
- 42:00Speaker 2: hard you freak out if you can't find the dog?
- 42:02Speaker 2: Now imagine that for the rest of your life and
- 42:04Speaker 2: it's your kid. So, like, shut up. But I'm also
- 42:07Speaker 2: saying it's hard to be like, you know, asking them
- 42:11Speaker 2: stuff all the time when they get older. Can I
- 42:13Speaker 2: see this? Can I do this? Can I see that?
- 42:15Speaker 2: It is harder. So it is a weird thing.
- 42:19Speaker 3: As you were just saying that, I was like, 100%,
- 42:20Speaker 3: both of my kids are going to have Apple Watches
- 42:23Speaker 3: where I'm tracking them.
- 42:24Speaker 2: The tracking them is the best thing ever.
- 42:26Speaker 3: Well, do they have Apple Watches where they can't be like,
- 42:29Speaker 3: I didn't have my phone on me. Be like, you
- 42:30Speaker 3: take your Apple Watch off.
- 42:31Speaker 2: No, but now I'm going to get him an Apple Watch.
- 42:33Speaker 3: Yeah, because it could also share his heartbeat information. Like,
- 42:37Speaker 3: You could like be, I think, I'm pretty sure you
- 42:39Speaker 3: could like monitor.
- 42:40Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you're right.
- 42:41Speaker 3: His heart beats this. He's alive.
- 42:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I want to, I'm going to do that. Because also.
- 42:45Speaker 3: For real. The whole time you're saying this, I'm like plotting.
- 42:49Speaker 2: Yes, especially when he goes to college and stuff.
- 42:52Speaker 1: Oh.
- 42:52Speaker 2: Then I can wake up, like if I don't hear
- 42:54Speaker 2: from him and then I wake up at two in
- 42:56Speaker 2: the morning and I can check the heartbeat.
- 42:57Speaker 3: Why was your heartbeat 150 last night? You usually average 90.
- 43:02Speaker 3: What were you doing?
- 43:05Speaker 2: Oh my God. You know, like, oh. But you know
- 43:07Speaker 2: what it reminded me of? It reminded me of two
- 43:08Speaker 2: times that I really did not respect what my mother
- 43:11Speaker 2: was going through. The first time was the day bid
- 43:15Speaker 2: day at USC to get in the sorority. She was
- 43:19Speaker 2: the same sorority as me. And anyway, I got the
- 43:22Speaker 2: bid and I didn't have a cell phone back then.
- 43:25Speaker 2: And I remember I was like, everyone's like, well, you know, happy.
- 43:28Speaker 2: We're going to get on this bus. We're going to
- 43:29Speaker 2: go to some party at some rich girl's house in
- 43:31Speaker 2: Toluca Lake. And I remember thinking I should go over
- 43:35Speaker 2: in the house. and call my mom on that phone
- 43:37Speaker 2: and just say, I got in Gamma Phi Beta, but
- 43:40Speaker 2: everybody's having fun. And I was like, whatever. So all
- 43:44Speaker 2: day I'm gone for like seven hours, no phone, no tracking,
- 43:47Speaker 2: no nothing. And I get back, you know, and my
- 43:51Speaker 2: dad was so pissed at me. He's like, your mother
- 43:55Speaker 2: didn't know if you didn't get in the house and
- 43:56Speaker 2: like fucking suicidal or something. Like she was like, She
- 44:01Speaker 2: went to like national, like she went through the national
- 44:03Speaker 2: database and got a hold of a human that said, no,
- 44:06Speaker 2: your daughter made Gamma Phi Beta at USC. Now imagine
- 44:08Speaker 2: how hard it was to do it back then. How
- 44:10Speaker 2: many hours it took her to like call people. And
- 44:14Speaker 2: I was like, wow, that was an awful day for her.
- 44:18Speaker 2: And the other time was when I went skydiving. And
- 44:21Speaker 2: she was just like, will you please call me when
- 44:23Speaker 2: you land? Will you please tell me when you land?
- 44:25Speaker 2: And I was like, mom. whatever. I'm 23. Leave me alone.
- 44:30Speaker 2: Jump out of this plane. And I'm like, I want
- 44:34Speaker 2: to say rest in peace, mom. And I am so sorry.
- 44:36Speaker 2: I put you through that because my son didn't call
- 44:39Speaker 2: me back for two hours. And I was like, well,
- 44:41Speaker 2: my life is rude.
- 44:43Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I. I'm her mom.
- 44:46Speaker 2: I want to talk about, a lot of people are
- 44:48Speaker 2: really confused about the writer's strike and what it means.
- 44:50Speaker 2: And as someone who's part of the writer's guild, I
- 44:52Speaker 2: will explain.
- 44:53Speaker 3: Real quick, this is how thirsty I am. I saw
- 44:56Speaker 3: this yesterday and I was like, I wish I had
- 44:59Speaker 3: more time. I would drive there and get a sign
- 45:02Speaker 3: and just like act like I'm, you know, just like
- 45:04Speaker 3: get photographed. Like people were like, wow, is he a
- 45:07Speaker 3: writer now?
- 45:08Speaker 2: Yes. I, okay. So basically what it is, And speaking
- 45:14Speaker 2: of AI, I mean, you know, I've seen a couple
- 45:17Speaker 2: of movies recently and I joked that I'm like, I
- 45:19Speaker 2: think AI is writing bad romantic comedies because I heard
- 45:22Speaker 2: that there has been AI scripts of someone saying, hey,
- 45:25Speaker 2: can you do a Seinfeld script? And they're able to
- 45:28Speaker 2: do the Seinfeld script just based on characters and joke
- 45:32Speaker 2: writing and everything. So part of the strike does have
- 45:36Speaker 2: to do with that not being an option. And the Netflix, everybody,
- 45:41Speaker 2: they are not getting their.
- 45:44Speaker 2: You know, what, what they want, but also they want
- 45:46Speaker 2: these big, the big streamers want it to be that
- 45:49Speaker 2: it's more of a gig, like not a, a regular job.
- 45:55Speaker 2: And so they did the negotiating for weeks. So what
- 45:58Speaker 2: this means is they're on strike. This has happened many
- 46:00Speaker 2: times over the last, you know, 40 years that I
- 46:03Speaker 2: can remember and it can go on for very long.
- 46:07Speaker 2: And it can be very devastating if this goes on
- 46:10Speaker 2: for long. So this means the late night shows. Anybody
- 46:14Speaker 2: that has Writers Guild. And when I was at Chelsea lately,
- 46:17Speaker 2: we were not Writers Guild. And I think it's one
- 46:19Speaker 2: of the reasons our show became a success. Because we
- 46:22Speaker 2: were the only show on from November to February that
- 46:27Speaker 2: was late night. Because it was not a Writers Guild
- 46:31Speaker 2: gig at that time.
- 46:32Speaker 3: Well, these things. I knew something was happening with. brands
- 46:37Speaker 3: and companies not wanting to do get work with these
- 46:41Speaker 3: sag and writers go because i just got offered like
- 46:44Speaker 3: one of the biggest campaigns i'm not going to say
- 46:46Speaker 3: the brand because hopefully the company yeah they come back
- 46:50Speaker 3: one day and it was all like oh where are
- 46:52Speaker 3: you going to use you and they're like oh wait
- 46:54Speaker 3: are you sag and i'm like yeah like usually that's
- 46:56Speaker 3: like two thumbs up like i mean i.
- 47:00Speaker 2: I had to fake and lie to get into stuff yeah.
- 47:02Speaker 3: I paid you pay to get i'm like i'm in
- 47:05Speaker 3: yeah let's go like oh, we're actually not doing a SAG.
- 47:10Speaker 3: We're not going to be doing, I was like, no, no,
- 47:12Speaker 3: I'm in this and paid. So this is the things
- 47:16Speaker 3: you get. And I didn't, and they didn't use me.
- 47:19Speaker 3: And so I think they are already starting to go
- 47:22Speaker 3: around before this to go to these, like, you know,
- 47:26Speaker 3: maybe an influencer or somebody who's not connected with where
- 47:29Speaker 3: they don't have to, I don't know what that means.
- 47:31Speaker 2: I mean, that's a scary thing. And I don't know
- 47:32Speaker 2: where it'll be in 50 years, you know? And then
- 47:34Speaker 2: the reason these things started is because artists are so
- 47:37Speaker 2: excited to work that they could screw us over because
- 47:40Speaker 2: you're like, sure, I'll do it for free to be
- 47:42Speaker 2: on TV.
- 47:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:44Speaker 2: Like I'll do whatever it takes. So it's like, that's
- 47:47Speaker 2: why these things were formed was to protect, you know, the,
- 47:51Speaker 2: the writers. And so, so anyway, when I, so when
- 47:54Speaker 2: I was at Chelsea lately, we did try to become
- 47:57Speaker 2: writers guild along with the writers of the suit. And
- 48:01Speaker 2: for six weeks, every Thursday and Friday, uh, I was
- 48:05Speaker 2: one of the writers along with a few others. And
- 48:07Speaker 2: then the writers from the soup on eat, we went
- 48:10Speaker 2: to the writer's guild and they brought in like, you know,
- 48:13Speaker 2: pandare like lunch, like whatever we had lunch and we'd
- 48:18Speaker 2: sit across from the lawyers of the E and then our,
- 48:21Speaker 2: and we would say, and you just go back and forth. No, no.
- 48:25Speaker 2: And they would always be like, well, and then our
- 48:28Speaker 2: executives as it came closer to, we're going to strike,
- 48:33Speaker 2: you know, They were like, well, what's this going to
- 48:34Speaker 2: do to the person, Brandy, who runs the teleprompter? And
- 48:38Speaker 2: what's this going to do? And they would like guilt
- 48:40Speaker 2: us into if we do strike, the show will shut down.
- 48:45Speaker 2: And what would that mean? And then also that would
- 48:47Speaker 2: mean that we as comedians and faces of it, we
- 48:50Speaker 2: won't get to be on it. So we didn't want
- 48:51Speaker 2: to strike. So finally we come to this negotiation that's
- 48:56Speaker 2: like our own little weird cable deal. That's like instead
- 49:00Speaker 2: of every 13 weeks, we get six months. and the
- 49:05Speaker 2: money is good, but you know, whatever. And they were
- 49:08Speaker 2: kept saying, you know, on your other plan, you get
- 49:10Speaker 2: these bonuses, but with this, you'll get this. Anyway, when
- 49:13Speaker 2: the show ended abruptly, it ended earlier than it was
- 49:16Speaker 2: supposed to, Chelsea, lately, the writers were the only people
- 49:19Speaker 2: that got no pension or extra money or anything at all.
- 49:25Speaker 2: The eight of us. So everybody that worked on the
- 49:27Speaker 2: show for seven years got 14 weeks of pay and
- 49:29Speaker 2: all the executives had their own big hundred thousand dollar deals.
- 49:34Speaker 2: And the eight of us, they were like, yeah, your
- 49:36Speaker 2: last payday is the day you walk out of here.
- 49:39Speaker 2: And we were like, all right. And then I'm like, wait,
- 49:42Speaker 2: what about the rest of the six-month pay that's going
- 49:44Speaker 2: to take me until the end of December? And they're like,
- 49:47Speaker 2: we're not honoring it. Take it or leave it. And
- 49:50Speaker 2: I was like, so those six weeks that we spent
- 49:52Speaker 2: every Thursday and Friday at the Writers Guild, though I
- 49:55Speaker 2: did enjoy the free sandwiches, honestly wasn't like it was weird.
- 50:00Speaker 2: And then they were so happy to get rid of
- 50:03Speaker 2: us and the soup because then they never had any
- 50:05Speaker 2: other Writers Guild shows. They were like, bye-bye. So it's
- 50:10Speaker 2: a very complicated thing. And I have many writers, friends
- 50:13Speaker 2: of mine that are posting about it. And I obviously
- 50:16Speaker 2: want them to succeed as soon as possible because this
- 50:19Speaker 2: can be very bad for the LA economy too.
- 50:21Speaker 3: I just think it's probably the worst time because we've
- 50:24Speaker 3: been out, obviously we're always out pitching shows and talking to,
- 50:28Speaker 3: and what has been the feedback, all the big agents,
- 50:32Speaker 3: all the producers I talk about too, they're like, no
- 50:36Speaker 3: one's buying right now. The networks are not buying. no
- 50:39Speaker 3: new shows. So they're already, we're like, oh, so if
- 50:43Speaker 3: I'm the studios and the networks, I'm like, this is
- 50:45Speaker 3: perfect time because we can, they're saving, they need to
- 50:49Speaker 3: save money. They don't, they want to use old stuff
- 50:51Speaker 3: right now and run the reruns. So I don't know.
- 50:54Speaker 2: I mean, and I'm, I'm sorry that I don't know
- 50:57Speaker 2: the bullet points of what they're fighting on, but it's
- 51:00Speaker 2: about residuals on streamers and things like that, that they
- 51:04Speaker 2: want to get what they believe they deserve as people who,
- 51:07Speaker 2: who write and create the shows, which there is no
- 51:10Speaker 2: show without the people writing and creating them. So there
- 51:13Speaker 2: you go. So anyway, this came out. Pete Davidson's Saturday
- 51:16Speaker 2: Night Live episode was canceled. High E News, who doesn't
- 51:20Speaker 2: have Writer's Guild, that is such a clickbait because the
- 51:23Speaker 2: reason it was canceled is because Saturday Night Live has
- 51:26Speaker 2: to go on strike.
- 51:28Speaker 3: They're Writer's Guild.
- 51:29Speaker 2: They can't have a show.
- 51:30Speaker 3: My new favorite thing people do in the comments section
- 51:33Speaker 3: to fight clickbait is people are like, copy and paste
- 51:36Speaker 3: and like put it right in it. And I'm like,
- 51:39Speaker 3: thank you.
- 51:39Speaker 2: Thank you. Thank you. Britney Spears did a very weird
- 51:43Speaker 2: post yesterday. It was just her boobs in a bra.
- 51:48Speaker 2: And she wrote, if I clap my tits, could I
- 51:50Speaker 2: make one pop like a balloon? Balloon emoji. On Thursday,
- 51:55Speaker 2: many question marks. She posted this on Tuesday.
- 51:58Speaker 3: So weird.
- 51:59Speaker 2: Tick tock, tick tock. I salute all bitches today. Not
- 52:03Speaker 2: with just my middle finger. middle finger emoji, but my
- 52:07Speaker 2: chest too. How do you spell chest? Or is it
- 52:10Speaker 2: chess or chest? And then she did a slide and
- 52:13Speaker 2: it was people playing chess.
- 52:15Speaker 3: Who's Jared Hunt? Did you slide over to the second one?
- 52:18Speaker 3: I want to see who's this.
- 52:20Speaker 2: Oh, that was the, that was the picture of people
- 52:22Speaker 2: playing chess.
- 52:23Speaker 3: Oh, okay. I was going to say she had a
- 52:25Speaker 3: professional photographer for her second shot.
- 52:26Speaker 2: So everyone's like, what the hell is going on? So
- 52:29Speaker 2: then this popped up. Someone, this is going around and
- 52:34Speaker 2: it's one of her dancing videos and they say, look
- 52:37Speaker 2: at the slow-mo, you see her face. They think it's
- 52:40Speaker 2: like another AI generated something and it's not really her
- 52:43Speaker 2: dancing because look at her face as her arms go up.
- 52:47Speaker 2: It's like a different person's face. Or is this a
- 52:54Speaker 2: fake thing? Is like, what is your, I know I,
- 52:59Speaker 2: every time I say I'm done with Britney, I don't know,
- 53:02Speaker 2: because I really don't know what is happening. Is she crazy,
- 53:10Speaker 2: likes to dance, wear cheap outfits, and this is all
- 53:12Speaker 2: she's going to do for the rest of her life?
- 53:13Speaker 2: Or is someone a bigger part of this controlling of imagery.
- 53:19Speaker 3: You know, last time I even commented a little bit
- 53:22Speaker 3: on Britney on this show, I had to, like, unshare
- 53:25Speaker 3: your story. I was like, I don't, I'm not getting
- 53:27Speaker 3: paid for this negativity. I don't even need this on
- 53:29Speaker 3: my account. The Britney, like, obviously, Juicy Scoot.
- 53:34Speaker 2: I don't feel like the Britney people are after me anymore. Oh, no.
- 53:37Speaker 3: Last time I shared our thing, I don't even know
- 53:40Speaker 3: what we said. It wasn't anything.
- 53:41Speaker 2: I feel like, honestly, I think the Britney fans have
- 53:43Speaker 2: moved on because no one can figure... Oh, to do that.
- 53:47Speaker 2: She should do OnlyFans.
- 53:48Speaker 3: They all came after and was.
- 53:49Speaker 2: Like, I had a lot of people that were like,
- 53:50Speaker 2: great idea. I, I don't know. And like I said,
- 53:54Speaker 2: with everything in AI, I don't believe any, this could
- 53:56Speaker 2: be a fake thing with a fake face behind it
- 53:59Speaker 2: and sending this out, making us thinking that it's not her.
- 54:02Speaker 2: I mean, I, it's her exact body. It's everything. It's
- 54:05Speaker 2: her exact dancing. I don't know. And I can't figure
- 54:09Speaker 2: it out.
- 54:09Speaker 3: You make me feel sane sometimes, you know, because. That's
- 54:13Speaker 3: how I feel about so many things in the media,
- 54:16Speaker 3: what you just said. And it's true. Nobody can say
- 54:19Speaker 3: that's not AI. Once I saw the Tom Cruise AIs,
- 54:23Speaker 3: I was like, I don't even know what's real.
- 54:24Speaker 2: What was the Tom Cruise AI?
- 54:25Speaker 3: It was like a full TikTok of somebody like an
- 54:27Speaker 3: AI Tom Cruise. You haven't seen that account?
- 54:29Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 54:30Speaker 3: It's like, that looks like Tom Cruise.
- 54:33Speaker 2: Right.
- 54:34Speaker 3: It's like, they can do that.
- 54:36Speaker 2: Yeah. How do you know? I don't know. Vanderpump Rules.
- 54:40Speaker 2: I've not talked to you about Vanderpump Rules. trailer was
- 54:44Speaker 2: allegedly leaked from Bravo. Like they weren't ready to leak it.
- 54:50Speaker 2: And it was going out to all the people. And
- 54:52Speaker 2: I actually did talk to Lala and I go, that
- 54:54Speaker 2: trailer was leaked. And she goes, what do you mean?
- 54:56Speaker 2: And she goes, and I'm telling her what's in it.
- 54:58Speaker 2: She goes, that's already out. And then about an hour later,
- 55:01Speaker 2: then Bravo did put it out. But according to Radar Online,
- 55:06Speaker 2: it was leaked. Again, they could have leaked it themselves
- 55:09Speaker 2: to get people excited, but So this came out earlier, allegedly,
- 55:13Speaker 2: than they wanted. And there are some moments where it's
- 55:18Speaker 2: after the affair has broken and Tom Sandoval is talking
- 55:22Speaker 2: to Ariana and he's like, you know, I have a
- 55:27Speaker 2: friendship with Raquel. And she's like, I don't give a
- 55:29Speaker 2: fuck about Raquel. And then there's a moment where he
- 55:31Speaker 2: is talking to Raquel and she goes, You know, we
- 55:33Speaker 2: said the only way we were going to do this,
- 55:36Speaker 2: if it was worth it. So I hope it's worth it.
- 55:38Speaker 2: Like just no remorse and like happy to be with him.
- 55:42Speaker 2: Like chills, chills of everybody talking. And it.
- 55:46Speaker 3: She's in treatment.
- 55:50Speaker 2: Right. And now someone is taking over her Instagram to
- 55:53Speaker 2: say we are following her Instagram. Her Instagram was hacked.
- 55:56Speaker 2: A team will be covering hers while she is in
- 55:58Speaker 2: a mental treatment place. of your opinion, we have not
- 56:02Speaker 2: gotten your opinion of the whole thing. I mean, this
- 56:05Speaker 2: is just put Vanderpump at the top of the reality
- 56:08Speaker 2: show game and the people that are starting to watch
- 56:10Speaker 2: it from scratch, the, the heterosexual guys that are loving
- 56:13Speaker 2: this show is a whole nother demographic. What do you think?
- 56:17Speaker 3: I mean, obviously if you're Alex Baskin, it's the greatest
- 56:20Speaker 3: thing that's ever happened.
- 56:21Speaker 2: Producer.
- 56:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 56:23Speaker 3: And the ratings are a million plus like record ratings. I,
- 56:29Speaker 3: Just I could have dreamed this all, but I could
- 56:32Speaker 3: have sworn I podcasted with Ariana, Ariana, and I could
- 56:38Speaker 3: have literally dreamed this. So this could be wrong, but
- 56:40Speaker 3: I thought she said pretty much she was bisexual and
- 56:42Speaker 3: that she was into women. So once somebody tells me
- 56:46Speaker 3: that and I'm supposedly in a relationship to me as like, oh,
- 56:51Speaker 3: you can go have sex with women. but I can't
- 56:54Speaker 3: go have sex with women because that's cheating. It creates
- 56:57Speaker 3: this weird gray area boundary in my like imaginary, like
- 57:01Speaker 3: I'm being, I'm not ever going to be Tom, but
- 57:04Speaker 3: I'm saying if I'm that in Tom's place and she's
- 57:08Speaker 3: hooking up with women and they're supposed to be in
- 57:10Speaker 3: love and he's finding out and it's just this weird
- 57:14Speaker 3: gray area where what becomes cheating because so did he
- 57:18Speaker 3: have to sleep with a guy or for it not
- 57:20Speaker 3: to be cheating like if Raquel's a guy is now
- 57:23Speaker 3: is this cool so that's where I the like whole
- 57:27Speaker 3: cheating thing for me you lose me as like I'm
- 57:30Speaker 3: old-fashioned I'll get murdered if you know I go do
- 57:34Speaker 3: anything out so that's how cheating works in my book
- 57:39Speaker 3: you know there's no like oh no but I'm gay
- 57:41Speaker 3: if I drink and I love girls on Tuesdays type
- 57:44Speaker 3: of thing you know like You know what I mean? Like,
- 57:46Speaker 3: that's great, and I am not judging anyone who does that,
- 57:50Speaker 3: and that was what I felt like she, again, I
- 57:53Speaker 3: could have made this up, but I could have sworn she.
- 57:55Speaker 2: Told us this. Well, no, no, no. She definitely had
- 57:57Speaker 2: a season where she came out as bisexual and did
- 58:00Speaker 2: a whole different day at the bride thing. There was
- 58:02Speaker 2: a time when Sandoval told on camera that before Lala
- 58:07Speaker 2: was sober, that Lala and Ariana were drunk, and Lala,
- 58:12Speaker 2: and they went down on each other, like, in the car,
- 58:14Speaker 2: in his presence. Oh, God.
- 58:15Speaker 3: So it's no longer cheating to me.
- 58:17Speaker 2: So, but in this case, everything that I've watched is
- 58:22Speaker 2: at this point in their relationship, she wasn't pursuing women.
- 58:26Speaker 2: They kind of were not having much of a romance,
- 58:30Speaker 2: but they were getting along really well. And so I
- 58:33Speaker 2: think they had kind of settled into, we do often stuff,
- 58:36Speaker 2: do our own thing, but I don't think she was
- 58:39Speaker 2: thinking he was cheating. And she definitely- trusted Raquel as
- 58:44Speaker 2: a single girlfriend that hung out with their group. Like
- 58:47Speaker 2: nobody thought, no one was really worried about her in
- 58:51Speaker 2: the fact that, you know, one, we're going to see
- 58:53Speaker 2: on tonight's episode that she gets drunk with both the
- 58:56Speaker 2: Toms at Tom's house when Ariana is out of town
- 59:00Speaker 2: and she got drunk and she spent the night at
- 59:02Speaker 2: the house. And people are like, how could you not
- 59:05Speaker 2: think that was the weirdest thing? And I'm like, I've
- 59:08Speaker 2: been at people's houses where they're like, you can spend
- 59:11Speaker 2: the night at my house. You don't have to get
- 59:12Speaker 2: an Uber back to Woodland Hills or whatever. But I'm like, no,
- 59:15Speaker 2: I'm going back. So, you know, clearly we know now timeline,
- 59:19Speaker 2: they were already screwing and they clearly screwed that night
- 59:22Speaker 2: that she spent the night and they were trying to
- 59:24Speaker 2: like make people not think it's weird that she spent
- 59:28Speaker 2: the night. But Um, I mean, I, I think, yeah,
- 59:32Speaker 2: I think that she was like confident with their relationship
- 59:36Speaker 2: and she wasn't really suspicious until the night that she
- 59:39Speaker 2: picked up the phone and she was suspicious that he
- 59:41Speaker 2: was starting to cheat and she saw a different name,
- 59:45Speaker 2: which was Jamie. And she goes, who the hell is Jamie?
- 59:47Speaker 2: This must be the girl he's, he may have slept
- 59:49Speaker 2: with on a Miami boys. We could clicked on it.
- 59:52Speaker 2: And then she saw that it was actually code name
- 59:54Speaker 2: for Cal and saw that they had a sexy videos
- 59:58Speaker 2: going back and forth.
- 59:59Speaker 3: I would love to know if Raquel, Ariana, and Tom ever.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: A lot of people have wondered that.
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: Until it's like, no. Because if that is our, if
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: they've already, it was cool when Ariana was there and
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: you open that gate. So that's another thing I need
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: to know.
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: I'm pretty involved in it off camera too. And I
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: am 99% sure that that never happened.
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: That no, it did not. Three sums, three sums with
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: Raquel did not happen.
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: That jacuzzi clip where she's like on him and she's
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: there talking about, and then Ariana says a throttle or whatever.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: It's like, I think they're joking. Like there's been times.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: It seems like it's like green lit though.
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: It just sounds like a weird. Yeah, but there's been
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: times where like jokingly I've had a friend or someone,
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: I've been in situations where there's the single girl and.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: I don't know what you're joking about. I know, I know.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: And then it's like, oh, we're sister wives. Like there's
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: a jokingness. We're a throuple.
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: Heidi would never.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: Not even joke. No.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: A jacuzzi wouldn't even happen.
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: Right. Well, you know, that's, that's good. You shouldn't get
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: so relaxed because. No, I had a one friend that
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: was like, well, you know me, I'm just a big flirt.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: And I'm like, well, I don't think it's okay that
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: you're flirting.
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: Especially with my husband.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: Yeah. Get out of here. And then I kind of
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: was like, and I did kind of alert myself and
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: I did say, hey, and it's like the only, I've
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: only had to say this twice and it was so
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: long ago. I was like, you know what? I'm not
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: comfortable with her always calling you about like mortgage broker
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: questions because She's been talking to you now for a couple,
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: you know, asking you questions and I'm not comfortable with
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: that anymore. And I don't think she's ever going to
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: give you the deal. So just drop it. And he
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: was like, all right. And then that was it. And like,
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: they never talked. Then she did get divorced, married somebody.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: But I was like, I was like, I am going
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: to nip this in the bud. The minute I got
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: a weird feeling and I'm telling this to all my listeners,
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: girls and guys, if you have a weird feeling, just
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: dip it in the bud and go, you know what?
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: I'm not comfortable with this woman working here. And if
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: someone fights it too much, they like in the one
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: particular thing of my one good friend whose husband did
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: leave her for a woman that started to work for him.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: And she we had an evening out when she was
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: like confided in all of us. I think something's going
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: on between the two of them. I said, go back
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: there and say, let's give her a payment because you're
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: going to tell me she can't quit. You're such a bitch, whatever.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: And I go and just say, I'm not accusing you,
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: but I'm no longer comfortable with her working there. And
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: let's just get a purse of money to go find
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: another job and end it. And he fought her on
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: it and they went into therapy and everything. And then
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: a year later, it all got revealed. They'd been boning
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: for a year. So if someone fights you on something
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: like that, then you, it is a red flag. Immediately.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: Someone should be like, you're right. Fine. Not a problem.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: Don't need to hang out with this person anymore. We
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: can let this person go. We can give them their
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: two weeks or whatever the case is. But if you
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: have a weird feeling, let this Vanderpump story be a
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: rule to you to like try to nip it.
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: Yeah. So if, for instance, that jacuzzi thing and she's
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: on Tom's lap, if Ariana's like, whoa, whoa, you too.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: And like they're like, what? And defensive about it. I
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: don't know. It's if there isn't conspiracies, which, you know,
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: then it's just it's sad for obviously I don't.
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: Yeah, and a lot of people still think like, was
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: this scripted? Was this whatever? I know it wasn't. I
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: know all these things were happening. And I know that
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: even you're going to see that Lala is like really
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: on it. Now, this is sober Lala. She's like one
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: of the only sober people on the fucking show. And
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: she's hyper now sensitive because Randall cheated so badly. So
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: she told me that they finished filming. Then they found
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: out about the scandal. And she told me, she goes, Heather,
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: I was saying this for so long. I didn't, I
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: tell you about it. And I'm like, I don't remember
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: you saying, she goes, well, I know I said it
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: on camera. And she goes, and I was terrified that
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: I was going to get ripped apart at the reunion
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: because they were going to be like, how dare you
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: be so accusatory of Tom throughout the whole season when
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: clearly nothing ever happened.
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: And she, and now she did it on camera.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: And now it's like, this must, they must know. No,
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: she just was suspicious. And she was, pointing it out.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: But at the, at the time that they finished filming,
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: no affair had been proven. So she was like, Oh,
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: I'm going to get, I'm going to get it at
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: the reunion. Cause I'm going to look like, you know,
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: the bitter, nasty bitch. That's not in a relationship. That's like,
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: you know, and then turns out she's like, you know,
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: Madam Cleo or whatever, like predicted the whole thing.
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: I mean, I don't watch the show, but I feel
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: like I bet there's a lot of, Just that one
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: clip I saw in the jacuzzi, I was like, huh?
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: What's going on here? I didn't know they were cheating,
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: but my first thought was like, oh, they're all hooking up.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: I'm not about that.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: I have a funny little Lala story. So Lala and
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: Ocean and Lala's mom lives with her. And so the
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: two of them came over and brought Lala to the
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: new house in La Quinta. And we had a great day.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: And my 17-year-old son the other day was like, I go, oh,
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: this weekend I'm just going to have a girls weekend
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: at the house, you know, so you stay back in
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: Woodland Hills with your dad and brother. And he goes, oh,
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: who are you going to have? I'm like, oh, Liz
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: and da-da-da. And he goes, oh, and then you're going
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: to have the lesbians? I go, what lesbians? He goes,
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: the lesbians that came over. I go, no lesbians came over.
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: What are you talking about? He goes, the lesbians who
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: came over with that little baby. And I go, that
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: was Lala and her mom. And I'm like, this is
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: just such an LA kid that he just assumes that
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: if two women come over with a baby or two
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: guys with a baby, they're not two dads and the
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: mom's getting it. They're just, they're just a gay film.
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: How often is he using snap AI though? Maybe it's just.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: And I was like, so then I tell, I go,
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: I go, your mom should be flattered that, uh, she.
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: Didn't say she didn't think girl wife or girlfriend.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: You and your wife. I go, yeah, she, I go,
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: what a flattery thing. No, he didn't think she was
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: a grandma. You just thought they were a happy lesbian
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: couple in Palm Springs.
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: I'd love to know what the mom thought about that.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: She loved it. She thought it was hilarious. And then
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: Ariana's out with her new boyfriend at the Yankees game,
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: so good for her. Okay, I want to talk a
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: little bit about Real Housewives of New Jersey. And even
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: if you're not watching it, it doesn't matter.
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: Yeah, sorry to any juicy scoopers that have a problem
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: with me not watching it. Every show right now, I'll
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: be caught up in a couple years.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: It doesn't matter because really the only story I want
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: to tell you about is the only story that everyone's
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: talking about. Teresa, who's the star of the show, is
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: getting married to her husband as we watch it. They're
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: married now. And she was on the show first, and
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: then her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa, joined like,
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: I don't know, 12 years ago, 10 years ago. She's
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: been on for 13.
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: I watched 11 seasons of it.
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, you know. Okay, so anyway... They are
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: at odds with each other this whole season. And, you know,
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: they had a business dealing that, you know, he accuses
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: them of stealing their idea. But then the whole idea
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: never came to fruition about these pizzas, this pizza oven.
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: And then she didn't ask Melissa to be in her wedding.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: And then they feel snubbed about these other parties coming
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: up in between. And now we know they did the
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: reunion and it's supposedly really explosive. And Melissa has said,
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: I don't even know if I'm going to come back
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: because I know Teresa holds the cards. And if we're
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: never going to film with each other because it's coming
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: to the point where it's like they're like, we don't
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: think that we can like both sides are like, we
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: don't think we can fuck with each other anymore at all.
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: I don't care that we're, you know, our parents are gone.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: Maybe our kids will be friends later when they're adults.
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: But like right now, it's just always toxic. And that
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: is what we're going through. And I wanted to get
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: your opinion because. you know, you, oh, and then this
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: other girl, Danielle, she doesn't talk to her brother anymore.
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: And the mom is on there being like, well, I'm
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: a parent to both of you. He doesn't want to
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: talk to you right now. I'm sorry. And, you know,
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: she's like, feels snubbed. So adult siblings who no longer
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: talk to each other, and I don't talk to a sister,
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: and I know you don't talk to your sister. And
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: so I brought up this story from, and the story
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: came from when you were on the show last time, So,
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: and you guys came on a reality show together. Who
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: was on the reality show first? You or your sister?
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: And then how did your sister then get put on
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: the show?
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: I'm not going to say she Haley Bieber'd it, but
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: it was a coincidence. You know, it was real that
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: she went to fit him and Elsie went to fit him.
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: I don't know if she was like, hey, I'm, no,
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: that's not actually what happened. She ran up. on Elsie
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: in the club.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: Lauren Conrad.
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: And, you know, and got into the drama one night
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: and they were like, whoa. And then they're like, you're
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: Spencer's sister. And then they were thrilled. Right. You got
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: to fit them. And then they.
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: Now, at that time, did it bother you at all?
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: that you were the person who was doing TV. You
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: had already produced Princess of Malibu. You were on this
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: show now as yourself. Did it bother you that your
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: sister was going to be part of the show that
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: you were on?
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: Initially, no, because she was like, I got your back.
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: I'm going to get her. But then she, like a
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: Brody style, was like, wait, I'm not going to be
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: with the villains. I'm going to be with the narrator hero.
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: And so they got her. quick, you know, which, so
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: I understand now, you know, but.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: Do you think that is what was the, the rift,
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: which has now lasted for so long?
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: No, no, no. Even if we'd never been on TV,
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: there was plenty of, you know, having siblings on and
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: off cameras is, there's a lot of life, a lot
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: of things that go on with, you know, your parents
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: and everything. So I don't think the show, I think
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: I'd be in the exact same place right now if
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: there was no show.
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: Okay, so that's what someone very close to the Gorgas
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: and the Judy Cheese, well, you know, Teresa and Joe Gorga,
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: said to me too. She said, honestly, I think they
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: would be having these same issues if they weren't on
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: the show.
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: Yeah, the cameras heighten it. It heightens it. But almost
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: the benefit of the show is you see how far
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: somebody will go in the scenario. Yeah.
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: To how far someone will go to betray and fuck
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: you over and be jealous.
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: And all these things that would have never, you wouldn't
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: have saw the level of these, you know, these layers
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: that don't exist in regular life. So there's positives come
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: out because you were like, oh my, you know, when
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: you just, when you think like, oh, and it's like, wow, you'll, you'll,
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: you know, so that's it. And now, now that I'm
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: a parent with two kids though, it is just, and
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: I feel for my mom and it's, it's horrible for her.
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: Any parents, I can't comprehend having my two sons, you know,
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: not speak and get along. But, you know, at the
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: end of the day, everyone's an individual and they're, regardless
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: of blood or not, people aren't going to get along
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: and see things the same way. So it is part
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: of life. It's unfortunate.
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: I mean, you know, my boys are 20 and 17 and,
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: you know, they've had moments, you know, they've had moments
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: where like, The younger brother, it's hard to be the
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: younger brother. You know, the older brother has been taller, smarter,
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: you know, and I'm always like, eventually you'll even up.
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: But for your whole life, there's been one, you know,
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: you've been in this relationship. It's a very interesting relationship.
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: And every relationship is different. I don't necessarily, I think
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: it's not parents' fault. It's personality. You know, it can happen.
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: And you do get to a place in an adult
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: life where you're like, I don't think my siblings what
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: does want the best for me? I don't even know
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: they want good for me. I think they'd be happier
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: if something bad happened to me. And I think maybe
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: in your situation, I know in my situation and in
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: the Gorga and Teresa situation, I think they have realized that.
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: And it's really hard to get back. And even though
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: you might have a chuckle and you might have some
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: fun and you want to have a fun gathering maybe
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: with this person, you know that they really don't want
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: the best for you, you know? Yeah.
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: And that's the one thing I love and I hate
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: about my experience with reality TV is it does show
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: you so many people's true colors from friendships to family
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: members and other people's family members. You know, you just know, like,
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: and it's not just my sister, you know, there's other,
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: I'm not going to get into a deep dive, but
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: I learned so much about people's character. And, you know,
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: I have forgiveness in my heart, so I don't like old,
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: these things but it's like no matter what there's definitely
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: people around me in my life to this day that
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: i'm like i know when there's money and you're getting
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: this and there's people in your ear how fast you
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: would sell me down the river with you know so
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: it's a it's a horrible thing to experience but it's
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: also so like empowering because then.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: You enlightening too yeah you're like.
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: I know what this is it's just it's i don't
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: know how to describe it but It is one of
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: the great things that comes out of doing so much fame.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: Yeah. And I mean, you know, we'll see what happens
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: if they all come back on the show. I mean,
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: I hope they all do. I don't want to see
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: anyone not have their livelihood. But if the show didn't exist,
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: I really believe that Teresa and Joe probably wouldn't really
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: mess with each other anymore and would go on and...
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: Maybe see each other at a kid's wedding, maybe not.
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: Or maybe the kids would bring them together, but I
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: don't think they would deal with it because I just
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: don't think it's been good.
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: Their relationship always to me was like, wow, this is
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: like from having two sisters is so far from any
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: relationship I've ever had. Like they were so best friend-y.
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: Like I've never been.
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: Joe and Teresa. Yeah.
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: I've never been like best friend-y. Sometimes they're like best friends,
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: you know, long time ago. Yeah. Pre-Melissa Jones.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: I don't think they ever really were. I think there
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: was always, there was always a weirdness. They acted like
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: they were, yeah, they would say we're tight. We're family.
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: I never said that in my life.
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: But he didn't really, he didn't really show it. He
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: didn't really show it though. They would say it all
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: the time, but I don't think they showed it. They
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: was always like the family. But, and then I think,
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: you know, when the parents both go, there's also this
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: kind of relief because my parents are gone that are like,
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: I'm not going to get any more guilt about including
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: this person. I'm not going to hear anything from the
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: parent that the sibling said this or what they really
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: would like. Like once my parents passed, there was a
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: little bit of a relief of like, let me just
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: raise my, let me raise my own family. Like, I
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: can't worry about this anymore. Like I can't, you know,
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: this is a person. Yes, we came from the same family,
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: but at the same time, like, you really just lived
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: under the same roof for now, maybe a fourth of
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: your life. Like, so you, or less depending on the age.
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: Like, so you, how would you, I never lived under
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: the same roof.
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: Like, so really she's eight years older than me, my
- 1:15:33Speaker 3: older sister.
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: Oh, your older sister. Yeah. So, I mean, so it
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: can be, it can be like, okay, you know, how
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: much did we really do together? And now that we're like,
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: you know, 40 or 50 or whatever, like, But with
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: Joe Gorga, they definitely came on the show. She got
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: on the show first. They would never have been on
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: the show without her. In their defense, they've been on
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: the show for a really long time, too. And it
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: is what it is. Get over it. And the reason
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: the show is so successful is because it's this deep-rooted
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: thing that we can talk about. I mean, the shows that,
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: in reality, shows that are successful are the ones that
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: are have scenarios that then you can talk about it
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: for hours and hours and hours and go, this happened
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: to me, you know? And the only reason that works
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: is because they actually are family, you know?
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: I'll never forget. Thank God the show didn't go forward.
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: But before the Hills reboot years ago, there was a pilot,
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: like a, like a couple, like a brother, sister, like
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: a sibling, a sibling show or whatever. And I went
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: and shot the pilot and I was like, with my sister,
- 1:16:39Speaker 3: I was like, oh, we are on. we're in two
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: different multi, like, this, we are, like, as much as I, like,
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: how she sees everything versus how I, it's beyond, like,
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: and I thank God the freaking show didn't go through,
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: you know, but at that, I was like, oh, we're,
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: you know, versus how I see things.
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: You think if the show went through, it would have
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: even been more, like, disastrous?
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: Yeah, 100%, because at that moment, like, just doing the pilot,
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: I was like, oh my God, like, you think that, like, no, like,
- 1:17:10Speaker 3: you know what I mean?
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: It's just like, That's morally like, yeah. And everything. It's
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: just like, that's not how like that reality is. And
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: here there's people. What I've also learned is have their
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: own reality and that may not be grounded in reality.
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: Like, so good. Good point.
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: I just thought this is a, this guy on the
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: show and I swear to God, he's wearing a, this
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: is Frankie and he's wearing a black tank top that
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: I swear to God is a woman's. It's a reversible
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: tank top from Kirkland. You get five in a pack.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: At Costco. And I'm just going to put it out
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: there that I was horrified by this look. Okay. Meanwhile,
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: Lenny from Real Housewives of Miami, he has been sentenced
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: to pay or judge ruled that Lisa will get $ 8, 000
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: a month in temporary support. He's ordered.
- 1:18:00Speaker 3: That's not much. Not enough as dinner in Miami.
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: He's ordered. Well, I guess because she makes a salary too,
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: you know. He was ordered to maintain the status quo
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: of his financial support, and he has to pay for
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: his kids' medical insurance, school tuition, extra activities, and summer camp,
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: in addition to $ 60, 000 worth of Lisa's legal fee. I
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: don't think that sounds like much at all. Anyway, he
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: has a girlfriend that you know. Did we get her story?
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: Here she is. Yeah, we talked about this. And how
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: do you know her again? Oh, she came on the
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: hills for a minute.
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: She's Brody's date.
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: Anyway, she's. really pretty girl. And she just, she just, her,
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: what her divorce was just finalized. And there was a
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: video of her dancing at a party that, that couple
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: bloggers and people, um, Bravo boo or something. I love her,
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: but anyway, I don't know who gave it to me. She,
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: posted and people were like, I can't believe that his
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: mother is dancing with the now mistress at a party.
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: And I was like, listen, if your son is divorcing
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: his wife and now he has a new girlfriend that
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: now he's had for like eight months and you're like 75,
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: go dance with the mistress. It's not your fault.
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: Sorry.
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: Yeah, you raised him, but he's 55 years old. At
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: a certain point, it cannot be the mother's fault. You
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: can still hopefully be a great grandmother and friend to Lisa.
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: I hope that she doesn't give the mom shit about
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: being around the kids. But it's a hard position to
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: be in when your child gets divorced. Same thing if
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: your daughter divorces your son-in-law. Kris Jenner invited all the
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: son-in-laws and the baby daddies around. For years and years
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: and years until the until the girl finds another dude. Like,
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: I wonder, will Scott Disick be around as much now
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: that actually Courtney is married? But for all those years
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: that they weren't together.
- 1:19:48Speaker 3: It seems like Travis has been allegedly icing him out of.
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's not going to be up to Chris anymore,
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: you know, and it's like, but Chris wouldn't. But Chris
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: is always really great to the ex son in laws
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: and ex boyfriends and stuff. It's a hard place to
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: be for the mom, but that's what's going on with them.
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: Well, there's a viral TikTok I just saw where the
- 1:20:10Speaker 3: couple comes in and the mom's on the couch with
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: the ex and like, who's this? So there's two ways
- 1:20:17Speaker 3: to look at it. There's also the moms that like
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: BFF with the, you know.
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: Well, like where your son's girlfriend, they break up and
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: you still love the girlfriend so much that you're still
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: hanging out with the girlfriend and the sister's still like
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: the girlfriend and stuff.
- 1:20:31Speaker 3: And then they come in the new couple and they're
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: all sitting there like, yeah, you're right. You know what?
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: That is hard. I think, okay, well, I think it's
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: different when, when everyone's old, like 50 and you know,
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: but I do think it's weird if your child breaks up,
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: if your child's college age or whatever, and they break
- 1:20:46Speaker 2: up with their longterm girlfriend, I do think as the
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: mom and the sisters, you got to let that friendship
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: and stuff. And with that girl, because your son's getting
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: in a new girlfriend and, And that girlfriend should not
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: be made to feel insecure that the sisters and the
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: moms like the original girlfriend so much more. I agree.
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: Let it go. Once your kid breaks up with that person,
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: you as a parent should not hang. That's why I
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: think actually the mom's being good in that she's accepting
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: the new girl in his life.
- 1:21:18Speaker 3: Keep it moving.
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: Wow. And she's very nice.
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: Well, I'm sure she is. Um, Okay, now this was
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: kind of crazy. So Catherine Dennis, who was on Southern Charm,
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: has had a difficult life. At 19, she was on
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: the show, very young. At 21 and 23, she had
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: two babies back-to-back out of wedlock with this 50-year-old man named,
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: what is his name? Thomas Ravenel. And they have these kids,
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: and she's had drug issues, and she'd had to do
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: drug testing, and there was marijuana, and there's da-da-da-da-da. But
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: she always seemed kind of out of it. She was
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: really pretty and she was very flaky on the show.
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: People would say even on the show, she didn't show up.
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: She was late. She was this. She was that. And
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: in the end, he got full custody. Full custody. And
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: she is only going to get the two kids that
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: are like nine and six every other weekend. No sleepovers.
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: She can only have them from like, you know, nine
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: to seven, 9 a.m. to seven with eight. supervised person
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: that like the court approves. That is some, that's like
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: pretty strict. That, that means that he had some hardcore
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: evidence to convince someone that that is what.
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: He also has the budget for better lawyers. I feel
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: like he's so connected.
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: No, I think that's okay. I think there's a lot
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: going against her in that case too, but then also
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: the lawyer she had fired her. And saying she was
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: so uncooperative and they couldn't help her. And when your
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: lawyer fires you because, A, you missed appointments or you
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: flaked or you didn't listen or they feel that they
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: can't guide you the right way, that's not a great sign.
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: When your lawyers fire you, that's not a great sign.
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: Sad because she was so nice. We met her once
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: in New York and she was so nice in person.
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: I think she probably is very nice.
- 1:23:13Speaker 3: I think she's very pretty. I feel badly for her.
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: But at this point, she should probably just work on
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: herself and make the most of that time that she
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: has with them and just hope that the structure, I mean,
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: I do think it is very, very hard for a
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: kid of any age, of any means, to live 50-50
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: between parents. And, I mean, I just really do. And
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: if one parent can be the one that is, and
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: people are going to get mad at me for this,
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: or maybe not.
- 1:23:42Speaker 3: This is a hot take.
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: Well, I just feel like, I feel like there was
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: a time, like, 30, 40 years ago where the primary
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: parent had the kid at the house and the dad
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: would come on and went just traditional. Dad would come
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: take them out to dinner on a Wednesday, have the
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: kids every other weekend. And then it became no, like
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: dad should have more rights, which is fine. And then
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: in California, it was going to be 50-50. And if
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: you talk to kids that are like 25 and older
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: who had divorced parents, they will say, The worst part
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: of that, the divorce, was living between the two houses.
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: Heidi was, that's Heidi.
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: Oh, really?
- 1:24:17Speaker 3: And she describes having to drive from like, you know,
- 1:24:21Speaker 3: especially there were kids that, I swear, it's like a
- 1:24:24Speaker 3: seven-hour drive. So it's like.
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: Oh, there's kids that have to go get on the
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: plane by themselves and the stewardess has to watch them.
- 1:24:32Speaker 3: She said it was the worst.
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: I mean, it's really, really hard. And I have no
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: idea what that would be like as a parent. So
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: I get it. But, I mean, we had it with
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: my stepdaughter. And then, you know, yeah, we accepted it
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: can't be 50-50.
- 1:24:47Speaker 3: It can't.
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: You know, it cannot be. And, like, so then she
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: lived with her mom for a while. And then there
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: was a time when we all agreed, we didn't even
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: go to court, that she then was going to live
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: with us for seventh grade on. And it's like because
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: you– but even in those times when she was little
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: and we had the 50-50– It was really hard, you know,
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: and we wanted it because we wanted to make sure
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: she knew we were never going to skip on our days.
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: But it's like, I don't know, that needs to be.
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: Or if you were one of those parents, you know,
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: even if you get it, you might want to be
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: the parent that's like, you know what? Yeah, let me
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: just like visit them as much as I can. But
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: like to have everything at the house and then be
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: yelling at each other that someone forgot the soccer ball
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: and the soccer cleats. Or you have to buy all
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: the same stuff at both houses. I mean, it's just
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: a nightmare. And I feel badly for it. But you
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: did affect her a lot, huh, Heidi? It was hard.
- 1:25:44Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. See, I don't want to get drama going
- 1:25:48Speaker 3: on either side here. No, but I mean, it's really hard.
- 1:25:49Speaker 3: But I've definitely heard things it does not.
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: And you know, I think parents do the best they
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: can at that time. But yeah, it's a bigger thing
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: than I think. I think there's going to be a
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: change here. in family law coming up in the next
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: 10 years, next five years.
- 1:26:05Speaker 3: These predictions on Tuesday school.
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: And moving away from this like, boom, 50-50, boom, you know, 75,
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: you know, whatever. And being more like, the kid needs
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: to go to be in this house during the week
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: and your house on the weekends or vice versa.
- 1:26:19Speaker 3: You know, there's an app now. I think there's two apps.
- 1:26:21Speaker 3: I was talking to this parent, this divorce. They're like
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: parents that like don't get along.
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: Right, right. Oh, they only talk on the app.
- 1:26:28Speaker 3: And then it's like a court.
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: Right, it can't be abusive because it can be used.
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: I think that's genius.
- 1:26:33Speaker 3: Whoever started that app is paid.
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: And they deserve it.
- 1:26:37Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: And I think it's very helpful.
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: But it's like, I guess the person I was talking
- 1:26:40Speaker 3: to was like, you're like knowing because you have to
- 1:26:42Speaker 3: type so different now.
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: You'd be like, if it's possible, could I pick little
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: Johnny up at 4.30 versus 7? Yeah. Unfortunately... That is
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: not convenient for us. Could you explain why it's not convenient? Yeah,
- 1:27:01Speaker 2: I can imagine what it's like. But it's probably a
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: smart way to be. And it's probably better for the kid.
- 1:27:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: Have you seen the show Jury Duty?
- 1:27:10Speaker 3: Enough of it on social media, yes.
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: It is so funny.
- 1:27:12Speaker 3: You watched the show.
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: I watched the whole thing and I really loved it.
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: And my sister and her husband who are attorneys, I said,
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: you have to watch this because it is so real.
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: And what it is, is a guy thinks he's doing
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: a documentary. He has jury duty and they're like, hey,
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: we saw you had jury duty. Would you like to
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: also be part of a documentary with other people going
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: through jury duty? We'll pay you, whatever. So he gets chosen.
- 1:27:36Speaker 3: I thought he went to, saw a Craigslist ad.
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: Something like that. That's what I'm saying. He saw an ad.
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: So he's like, sure, I'll do this. So they, you know,
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: they choose him and boy, they chose a great person.
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: And then everybody else is an improv type actor that's
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: not famous. A lot of people had other careers before Craig.
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: so that they even are that much more believable as
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: an actor. And, you know, they get sequestered and it's
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: a fake trial and everything. And it's really funny, but
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: it reminds me of the show, the Joe Schmo show,
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: which was a reality show. The same thing. It was
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: a competition show. This guy thinks he's on a competition show,
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: like a surreal life, but you do competitive thing, make alliances,
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: all this stuff. And everybody's an actor and, And they
- 1:28:20Speaker 2: thought it would go one way. And then he turns
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: out to be like such a good soul that they
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: kind of direct it. But it's really and like Kristen
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: Wiig was on it before she was famous on the
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: Joe Schmoe show. And so that's where they got the idea, obviously.
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: But it was really clever. And but it's not like
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: they can do another season of it.
- 1:28:39Speaker 3: I don't know there's enough people not watching TV they
- 1:28:44Speaker 3: could catch.
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: I don't know I'm sure but not with jury duty
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: they'd have to do something else they're gonna probably do
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: another show like a Joe Schmo where they're gonna.
- 1:28:55Speaker 3: Trick people not watching TV and not on the internet
- 1:28:58Speaker 3: I could My buddy Pinero right now, I could get
- 1:29:03Speaker 3: him on that show. He'd have no clue. I could
- 1:29:06Speaker 3: definitely sign him up. You guys need season two of
- 1:29:08Speaker 3: Jury Duty. My buddy Mikey P has no clue. He
- 1:29:12Speaker 3: has no clue.
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: He doesn't listen to Juicy Scoop. Okay.
