A heartbreaking tragedy unfolded in Florence, Kentucky, when off-duty police officer Dustin Zink, 37, died after an officer-involved shooting during a domestic violence call. Deputies arrived to find Zink armed and threatening others; despite attempts to de-escalate, he fired multiple times, prompting deputies to return fire.
