- 0:08Speaker 1: Sure, it's hello and alone.
- 0:15Speaker 2: No, welcome to the Naughty but Nice Show. I'm your host,
- 0:17Speaker 2: Rob Shooter, and it is Thursday, Thursday Saturday. Friend Mark
- 0:21Speaker 2: Lupo joins us, he leup. Are you there looping in here?
- 0:26Speaker 2: And you're back in New York City? How is Florida?
- 0:28Speaker 1: Oh it was lovely. We had a great time and
- 0:31Speaker 1: the sun. We were talking about you Ra my parents,
- 0:34Speaker 1: my mom and Kevin, my brother. They love the shout
- 0:36Speaker 1: out for their birthday, so thank you for that birthdays.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Oh, it's so nice. And then we're taping a little
- 0:42Speaker 2: earlier today. You you're busy. What are you up to?
- 0:47Speaker 1: Work?
- 0:47Speaker 2: Just work work.
- 0:48Speaker 1: It's a way you're here in New York's work working.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Oh no, it really is a transactional sort of town
- 0:54Speaker 2: New York is, isn't it. I've had to carve out
- 0:57Speaker 2: time on my schedule to have fun. Isn't that crazy?
- 1:00Speaker 2: So I could work every single night. On Monday night,
- 1:02Speaker 2: friends of mine wanted to go for a drink and
- 1:04Speaker 2: they were not work friends, they were like real real friends.
- 1:07Speaker 2: I nearly blew it off because I had what I thought,
- 1:10Speaker 2: don't hate me here, nought is I had nothing to
- 1:13Speaker 2: quote gain from this. I wasn't going to get any gudship.
- 1:15Speaker 2: I wasn't gonna get any good stories. And then I
- 1:17Speaker 2: was like, you idiot, you have everything to gain from this.
- 1:19Speaker 2: You have a really lovely night with friends that really
- 1:21Speaker 2: love you. That's a win. I went and I ended
- 1:24Speaker 2: up having the best time. When friends invite you out,
- 1:27Speaker 2: take a break. Sometimes go out with friends because I think,
- 1:31Speaker 2: I mean this research that really shows this to be true.
- 1:35Speaker 2: On your deathbed, nobody wishes they worked harder. They don't.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Nobody on their death bed says, oh, I wish I'd
- 1:41Speaker 2: spent another hour in that office. Nobody, nobody.
- 1:45Speaker 1: I got to tell everyone in New York that it's
- 1:47Speaker 1: a good lesson to you.
- 1:48Speaker 2: They would never listen. They would never listen. It's a
- 1:50Speaker 2: tough time. It's a real balancing act. I mean, even
- 1:52Speaker 2: though I love New York naturally, I'm not really a
- 1:56Speaker 2: New Yorker. I'm more of a country bumpkin. I know
- 1:58Speaker 2: that sounds crazy to leave, but New York I love it.
- 2:02Speaker 2: I do love it. Okay, we're not moaning. Let's jump
- 2:05Speaker 2: into the show. What time is it, my friends, it's
- 2:06Speaker 2: tea time. Oh, it's actually a very good segue. Kate
- 2:09Speaker 2: Middleton's closest friends did not know that she went under
- 2:12Speaker 2: the knife. So sources are saying that Kate actually is
- 2:15Speaker 2: not a silly girl. She'd rather be in the country.
- 2:17Speaker 2: She really is quite private now. And I do get
- 2:21Speaker 2: this after everything that happened with that book, Harry and
- 2:25Speaker 2: the other book Omed. She's really burned by publicity. She
- 2:29Speaker 2: doesn't want her secrets out there. Just a few months ago,
- 2:32Speaker 2: she was accused of being a racist and that is
- 2:34Speaker 2: going to be on the internet forever. So now she
- 2:37Speaker 2: has a secret, a big secret. She doesn't want anybody
- 2:40Speaker 2: to know. And that's why she told really nobody, several
- 2:44Speaker 2: people who work with her, so they had no idea
- 2:47Speaker 2: this was going to happen. They were not given the
- 2:50Speaker 2: heads up. Now the children they did know, and they
- 2:53Speaker 2: did not visit her in the hospital, but they did FaceTime.
- 2:56Speaker 2: That's nice. They faced time with her. She was gone
- 2:58Speaker 2: a long time, like twelve days or so. Now she's
- 3:01Speaker 2: back at Windsor. I'm told she's recuperating. I'm hearing her
- 3:05Speaker 2: Mommy Carol might be moving into I'm sure William's not
- 3:08Speaker 2: thrilled about that. You always want your mom, don't she
- 3:11Speaker 2: when you don't feel well, you always want your mama, right,
- 3:13Speaker 2: even if you're a princess, you want your mom around.
- 3:15Speaker 2: But this is like a big, big deal that she
- 3:18Speaker 2: didn't tell anybody and she has staff. Do you owe
- 3:22Speaker 2: it to tell your staff? What do you think about
- 3:24Speaker 2: all this.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Monk, Yeah, that's a great question. And I think because
- 3:27Speaker 1: the Royal family, their lives are funded by taxpayer dollars,
- 3:32Speaker 1: there is this expectation that you're going to give all
- 3:34Speaker 1: the details of your life up to the public, and
- 3:36Speaker 1: so I can understand to an extent that they have
- 3:39Speaker 1: to share. But you know, I think in the last
- 3:41Speaker 1: few years everything with Harry and Meghan and the family,
- 3:45Speaker 1: I feel like they've become like really humanized, like that
- 3:47Speaker 1: the curtain has been lifted and now we recognize that
- 3:50Speaker 1: they are real humans with real problems, including health problems,
- 3:54Speaker 1: and so, you know, I appreciate her sharing that she
- 3:57Speaker 1: was in the hospital, but I don't think she owes
- 3:59Speaker 1: us anything more than that, and we have to respect
- 4:01Speaker 1: the fact that she's a human who has issues.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Is a humor book, yeah, forget it. Yeah. I try
- 4:06Speaker 2: to do this all the time with this show, with
- 4:08Speaker 2: what I do for a living, they are people. Everybody
- 4:11Speaker 2: is a person, it's not just celebrities. And you don't
- 4:13Speaker 2: know what's going on in other people's lives. So if
- 4:16Speaker 2: somebody's a little a little harsh to you today or
- 4:18Speaker 2: snaps at you, let it go. Because you don't really
- 4:21Speaker 2: know what's going on in their lives. We take things
- 4:23Speaker 2: so personally we think it's about us. Now it's about them.
- 4:26Speaker 2: And the reason that Kate is keeping a secret not
- 4:29Speaker 2: because she wants to screw over the British public or
- 4:32Speaker 2: hurt the press. No, that's not it at all. She
- 4:34Speaker 2: just is a very private person. Now, is she in
- 4:38Speaker 2: the wrong job for someone so pride? Some could argue, yes,
- 4:41Speaker 2: why would you sign up for this? Harry of all people,
- 4:44Speaker 2: actually actually argued that several people he dated dumped him
- 4:48Speaker 2: because they didn't want to be in the spotlight like this.
- 4:51Speaker 2: We all think, or maybe a lot of us think,
- 4:53Speaker 2: growing up that if we're rich or famous, things are amazing.
- 4:58Speaker 2: I would now argue, looking back, having met many rich
- 5:01Speaker 2: and famous people, I want the money. I don't want
- 5:03Speaker 2: the fame. I don't want the artificial fame that comes
- 5:07Speaker 2: being that recognized. Not having a regular life, I think
- 5:11Speaker 2: is a terrible burden and Kate. Remember Kate married into
- 5:15Speaker 2: this family, so William and Harry they were born superstars.
- 5:18Speaker 2: From the day they were born, we saw pictures of
- 5:20Speaker 2: them with Princess Diana, if you remember, she even had
- 5:23Speaker 2: to walk out the hospital and hold them up like
- 5:25Speaker 2: she was in the Lion King for us all to
- 5:28Speaker 2: see these new princes. Do you remember that? And so
- 5:31Speaker 2: from the day they were born. I'm not saying it
- 5:32Speaker 2: was right, but it is a fact they were famous.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Kate not so much. Kate grew to be a young woman.
- 5:39Speaker 2: She was in a late teen twenty when she met
- 5:42Speaker 2: William and then suddenly her life was this whirlwinds and
- 5:45Speaker 2: I do understand her wanting some privacy, and I think
- 5:49Speaker 2: too she wants to be with her kids. Everybody thinks
- 5:52Speaker 2: that Kate is really pushy about this, and it's not true.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Kate would rather be at her home at pants with
- 6:01Speaker 2: her kids on the farm, then go into a premiere.
- 6:04Speaker 2: She doesn't go to much stuff. I know publicists in
- 6:07Speaker 2: London who invite Kate to everything in London. If you're
- 6:10Speaker 2: a publicist, the one celebrity you want, it's Kate Middleton.
- 6:13Speaker 2: That's number one on the list. Every art gallery, every theater,
- 6:18Speaker 2: every restaurant. They want Kate at the opening night. She
- 6:21Speaker 2: never ever goes. I'm told that to get Kate to
- 6:25Speaker 2: turn up at something like that, it's like a military operation,
- 6:28Speaker 2: and she really doesn't do it. She likes going to
- 6:30Speaker 2: visit hospitals, she likes going to visit schools. She likes
- 6:34Speaker 2: getting on the train and meeting people who are regular folks,
- 6:38Speaker 2: far far far away from the cameras. But she doesn't
- 6:41Speaker 2: do interviews. She doesn't go on Good Morning Britain. She
- 6:44Speaker 2: doesn't sit down with Oprah. That might be a dig
- 6:46Speaker 2: to Megan, maybe, but that's why they didn't get along.
- 6:49Speaker 2: They're complete opposites. And I'm not saying which one is
- 6:51Speaker 2: right here, because I think they're both right. You've got
- 6:53Speaker 2: to be right for yourself. Megan's a showponer. She loves it.
- 6:56Speaker 2: She loves dressing up, she loves the flashball, she loves
- 6:59Speaker 2: walking carpet, she loves sitting down with Oprah. Kate doesn't.
- 7:04Speaker 2: It's just not who she is. And you can't change.
- 7:06Speaker 1: People, Mark, you really can't. And you know, I think
- 7:09Speaker 1: to that point, Rob, it's really fascinating to see what's
- 7:11Speaker 1: happening in the family. When Kate was you know, off
- 7:14Speaker 1: and recovering, and then Prince I should say King Charles
- 7:17Speaker 1: was also in the hospital, everything kind of stopped, and
- 7:20Speaker 1: I think the royal family recognized when they're not out
- 7:23Speaker 1: and doing those things, there's really a need still from
- 7:25Speaker 1: the public to know what's going on and the events
- 7:28Speaker 1: they don't stop.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Right well, they don't do anything. They don't make cars
- 7:32Speaker 2: or make houses, so there's no product that they're selling.
- 7:34Speaker 2: They're selling themselves, and so when they're not out there
- 7:37Speaker 2: promoting the product, it just stops. Like they really are
- 7:41Speaker 2: a pr created entity. I know I might get in
- 7:45Speaker 2: trouble for saying that, but they don't really do much now.
- 7:47Speaker 2: They do do some charity stuff. I get that, I
- 7:50Speaker 2: do get it, and they bring in a lot of
- 7:51Speaker 2: money to the country, but there's not really a product
- 7:53Speaker 2: like at the end of the week. They don't have
- 7:55Speaker 2: to produce a TV show like the Kardashians, or they
- 7:57Speaker 2: don't have to produce fragrancies like Paris Hill, and they
- 8:00Speaker 2: don't do anything like that. And so their whole image
- 8:05Speaker 2: is about being out and about and being public figures.
- 8:07Speaker 2: So now that Kate wants to be private, What's really
- 8:10Speaker 2: what's really upsetting people in Britain, and my sources are
- 8:14Speaker 2: telling me, is they're just worried, particularly really seeing a
- 8:17Speaker 2: people in the palace that once Charles and Camilla hand
- 8:20Speaker 2: over the reins, that Kate isn't going to want to
- 8:23Speaker 2: do this. It's a really rough job and she's not
- 8:28Speaker 2: cut out for it. And ironically, of all the people
- 8:31Speaker 2: in the family, who really is organically the best at this,
- 8:35Speaker 2: it's Megan. Megan would be amazing at this. Should go
- 8:38Speaker 2: to a party every night, she'd get a premiere every night,
- 8:41Speaker 2: a hospital every day, like, should do every television interview.
- 8:44Speaker 2: She doesn't want to. We've seen this with celebrities, Mark,
- 8:46Speaker 2: We've seen some celebrities who really enjoy being famous, and
- 8:50Speaker 2: they're normally the most successful ones, and some of them
- 8:52Speaker 2: just don't want to be famous.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I think you know that the Royal family has to
- 8:56Speaker 1: adapt though, because our need are hunger for infan and
- 9:00Speaker 1: for insidence in someone's life is only to increase because
- 9:04Speaker 1: of social media.
- 9:04Speaker 2: So yeah, they gotta get with it. Kate, if you're
- 9:08Speaker 2: listening to a lower levelow, I hope you find a
- 9:10Speaker 2: balance here which brings us to our pole question. Of
- 9:12Speaker 2: the day. Not even Kate's closest advisors knew she was
- 9:15Speaker 2: going under the knife. I see. Question is will the
- 9:18Speaker 2: secret eventually get out? What do you think will this
- 9:21Speaker 2: get out? Normally does? It might take a little while,
- 9:23Speaker 2: but normally does. Go vote on our Twitter page at
- 9:26Speaker 2: Naughty Nice rabat facebook page is naughty yoursel Mi? Sure
- 9:29Speaker 2: to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey, Loopy,
- 9:33Speaker 2: what are you working on? Yeah?
- 9:35Speaker 1: So, I have a fun update about our favorite couple.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Rob Travis Kelcey's strict Super Bowl schedule is keeping him
- 9:42Speaker 1: from joining Taylor Swift at the Grammys. Oh so, Kennon
- 9:46Speaker 1: City Chief star Trevis Kelcey will not be accompanying Taylor
- 9:49Speaker 1: Swift to the twenty four Grammy Awards due to his
- 9:52Speaker 1: team's strict schedule leading up to the Super Bowl. So
- 9:55Speaker 1: the NFL player and the Chiefs will be preparing for
- 9:58Speaker 1: the Big Game in Las Vegas the same time as
- 10:00Speaker 1: their Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. Now. RAB sources indicate
- 10:04Speaker 1: that the Chiefs have a tight schedule in the days
- 10:06Speaker 1: leading up to the Super Bowl, leaving Kelsey with no
- 10:09Speaker 1: time for travel to attend new Grammy Awards and right
- 10:13Speaker 1: now it's uncertain whether Swift world tend the event alone
- 10:16Speaker 1: or with someone else.
- 10:17Speaker 2: He's confirmed that he's not going, so just now, like
- 10:19Speaker 2: minutes ago, he confirmed he's not going. I don't like this.
- 10:22Speaker 2: She has been traveling around the country watching you. There's
- 10:25Speaker 2: reports she's gonna fly back from Japan, Japan to watch you.
- 10:31Speaker 2: You can't go to the Grammars in La. I don't
- 10:33Speaker 2: think this is I think this is really bad, Mark Nan.
- 10:36Speaker 2: I do know he's got commitments work commitments, But pretend
- 10:40Speaker 2: he wasn't a big international and famous football player here
- 10:42Speaker 2: and potentially wasn't Taylor Swift. If I kept turning up
- 10:45Speaker 2: at all your work events, Mark, I was there. I
- 10:48Speaker 2: was very supportive. And then I have a big work
- 10:50Speaker 2: event and you can't make it. What do you think?
- 10:54Speaker 1: It's not great? But however, let's say the Chiefs didn't
- 10:58Speaker 1: win at the Super Bowl. Fans would then be like, well,
- 11:01Speaker 1: where were you? You know, why weren't you blew it?
- 11:04Speaker 1: You blew it? You were out in the Grammy's partying
- 11:06Speaker 1: and you could have been here, you know, strategizing about
- 11:08Speaker 1: the game.
- 11:10Speaker 2: So let's take this on a case by case basis
- 11:12Speaker 2: and give him a pass on this one. But Taylor's
- 11:15Speaker 2: next event, I don't care if it's in timbuk two.
- 11:18Speaker 2: You've got to go. You've got to go. She's going
- 11:21Speaker 2: to get on that plane from Japan to fly to
- 11:26Speaker 2: Vegas to watch your Super Bowl. You better start showing up.
- 11:30Speaker 2: You better start showing up. And I think I'm sure
- 11:33Speaker 2: Taylor's fine with it. And you know, when your partner,
- 11:36Speaker 2: some of your date sort of lets you down a
- 11:39Speaker 2: little bit, even though they've got a good reason, you
- 11:40Speaker 2: still feel a little bit sort of like, oh, I
- 11:44Speaker 2: don't know who should she invite. I didn't like Tom Brady.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Who should be her list one?
- 11:49Speaker 1: I think it should be one of those one of
- 11:50Speaker 1: the girls and her girl squad, you know, don't bring
- 11:53Speaker 1: a guy. Bring you know, Selena Gomez or someone that
- 11:55Speaker 1: will get more attention. But the thing is, it's like,
- 11:58Speaker 1: I don't think if Travis could go, I really think
- 12:00Speaker 1: he would go because he loves him. And I think Taylor,
- 12:03Speaker 1: as much as she's going to support I think she's
- 12:05Speaker 1: also going to support herself because every time she shows
- 12:07Speaker 1: up with a game, the game becomes about her and
- 12:09Speaker 1: not about the game.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Right right, Yeah, it's a complicated one. It's just bad
- 12:14Speaker 2: timing too. I don't think we should read too much
- 12:16Speaker 2: into this. He would go if he could. He would,
- 12:18Speaker 2: and he likes all the attention, and this would be
- 12:20Speaker 2: a big moment for the two of them, their first
- 12:22Speaker 2: red carpet together. So I think he would go if
- 12:25Speaker 2: he could. But work is work, Okay, moving along, talking
- 12:29Speaker 2: about work, Madonna has disappointed her fans. Now, in Madonna's show,
- 12:32Speaker 2: she always brings up someone from the crowd who's a
- 12:35Speaker 2: celebrity or she knows, or a kid, a family member.
- 12:39Speaker 2: So in New York, she brought up Kelly Rippa, which
- 12:42Speaker 2: is fabulous. Kelly's a longtime fan of Madonna. She loves Madonna. However,
- 12:46Speaker 2: Madonna's two former backup singers, Nicki and Donna, were in
- 12:49Speaker 2: the audience. So Nicki and Donna were in New York
- 12:52Speaker 2: playing a small little jazz club and they were doing
- 12:54Speaker 2: their own act. And the fact they timed it around
- 12:56Speaker 2: Madonna shows a little shady, but good for you. Good
- 12:59Speaker 2: for you. The Madonna fans are in town, and Nikki
- 13:02Speaker 2: and Donna they did tour with her. They were with
- 13:04Speaker 2: her from nineteen eighty seven to two thousand and one.
- 13:07Speaker 2: On You If You ever saw that documentary she made
- 13:10Speaker 2: Truth or Dare. They were all over that and the
- 13:12Speaker 2: blonde ambition to her. I actually know Nikki a little
- 13:15Speaker 2: bit because I was such a Madonna fan. I stalked
- 13:18Speaker 2: Nicki to become friends with her, to become friends with Madonna.
- 13:21Speaker 2: It didn't quite happen, but I did become friends lou
- 13:24Speaker 2: with Niki, very very nice. Now Madonna's people are pushing back,
- 13:27Speaker 2: saying Madonna invited them to the show, and she gave
- 13:30Speaker 2: them tickets, so they came as her guests, so she
- 13:32Speaker 2: gave them great seats. Did she have to give them
- 13:35Speaker 2: a shout out from the stage? She didn't. Maybe she
- 13:38Speaker 2: could have should has she pulled up Donna and Nicky
- 13:40Speaker 2: instead of Kelly Ripper. Kelly Ripper's a much bigger star.
- 13:44Speaker 2: So I don't know about this one. What do you
- 13:45Speaker 2: think you know?
- 13:46Speaker 1: I know Kelly Ripper has been a longtime fan of Madonna,
- 13:48Speaker 1: so that was That's not a surprise. But however, if
- 13:51Speaker 1: you're going to Madonna and you're seeing Madonna, you would
- 13:54Speaker 1: probably want to see you know, the people who were
- 13:58Speaker 1: involved in the tour, the video and been a part
- 14:01Speaker 1: of Madonna's legacy and so you know, I was at
- 14:04Speaker 1: the Lauren Hill concert just a few weeks ago, and
- 14:06Speaker 1: she brought up people from her tour twenty five years ago.
- 14:09Speaker 1: She brought her friends, you know, guitarists, and it was nice.
- 14:12Speaker 1: It's like honoring those people who helped make your success.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Yeah. As a friend of mine points out there too,
- 14:18Speaker 2: Nikki and Donna are fabulous singers. Kelly Ripper not so much.
- 14:22Speaker 2: You didn't have to worry if I break up these
- 14:26Speaker 2: two off the stage. I know, Madonna, okay, quick, k
- 14:31Speaker 2: before we get a break? Well, what's that? Bethany frankle
- 14:33Speaker 2: up tonight? She never stops.
- 14:36Speaker 1: So Bethany Frankel's responded to at least and veter Pump's
- 14:39Speaker 1: criticism over Kel Levis's podcast appearance, dismissing it as an
- 14:43Speaker 1: epic example of jealousy.
- 14:45Speaker 2: I didn't think that.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I don't think so, but so the Real Housewives of
- 14:48Speaker 1: New York City. Alump expressed for lack of concern for
- 14:50Speaker 1: vander Pump's disappointment in Levis for choosing Frankel's podcast for
- 14:54Speaker 1: first post scandabal interview.
- 14:57Speaker 2: I remember that.
- 14:58Speaker 1: I remember it too, and you know, so frankel straightforward
- 15:01Speaker 1: reaction included the phrase cry me a river, Bob, what
- 15:05Speaker 1: do you think about this?
- 15:07Speaker 2: Bethany's just trying to get more attention. She did your
- 15:10Speaker 2: podcasts eight months ago. We're not really talking about it anymore,
- 15:15Speaker 2: and Bethany still is. I get it. Bethany is not
- 15:18Speaker 2: only a reality star, She's the most talented publicist I've
- 15:21Speaker 2: ever met. She knows how to make stuff about herself.
- 15:24Speaker 2: If ever you want to hire a publicist, hire Bethany Frankel.
- 15:27Speaker 2: If ever she would be if ever she would be
- 15:30Speaker 2: gracious enough to do publicity for somebody else instead of herself,
- 15:34Speaker 2: she'd be a multi millionaire from doing it. I think
- 15:37Speaker 2: Bethany once again, is just proving you tag yourself to
- 15:41Speaker 2: something in the news, You tag along, you say something outrageous,
- 15:45Speaker 2: you get publicity, and if that works for you, honey,
- 15:48Speaker 2: it's working again, Maybe not for me. We're going to

- 16:03Speaker 2: We talked about Jessica Bill publicly supporting justin Timberlake. So
- 16:07Speaker 2: she's dancing around her house, everything she's doing, cleaning her teeth,
- 16:10Speaker 2: everything she's doing, having dinner. She's listening to his new song,
- 16:14Speaker 2: very clever, very clever. Now we want to ask you question,
- 16:19Speaker 2: is real? Is it fake? Does she really like this
- 16:21Speaker 2: new song? Like if your husband puts out a song,
- 16:23Speaker 2: do you really have to brush your teeth to it?
- 16:25Speaker 2: Do you really have to eat dinner to this song?
- 16:28Speaker 2: Is this real or fake? Let's have a look. Sixty
- 16:33Speaker 2: percent said real. Oh, you know what, he's so nice.
- 16:35Speaker 2: It's a catchy song. I gotta say I like the song.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I've been dancing to it. I've not been brushing my
- 16:39Speaker 2: teeth to it, just but I think this is sort
- 16:42Speaker 2: of sweats What about you?
- 16:43Speaker 1: I think it's sweet and I think too. You know,
- 16:45Speaker 1: his success is her success, so I think she she
- 16:48Speaker 1: can relition that and I.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Love that for them. Yeah. I like these two working together,
- 16:53Speaker 2: rowing in the same direction. Okay, don't forget to vote
- 16:55Speaker 2: on today's poll. Add Twitter pagecknaughty nice rab at Facebook

- 17:11Speaker 2: to say too, Mark why this is the nicest because
- 17:14Speaker 2: I think some people will be surprised at this choice.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Yes, so this is a really important story and I
- 17:18Speaker 1: think it will help save lives. So web we're talking
- 17:21Speaker 1: about it. So Drew Carrey has reflected on his past
- 17:25Speaker 1: suicide attempts and said he was just tired of his life.
- 17:28Speaker 1: So Drew Carrey's the host of The Prices Right, has
- 17:31Speaker 1: candidly shared details about his two previous suicide attempts, and
- 17:35Speaker 1: he's shedding light on some of the darkest moments in
- 17:37Speaker 1: his life. So Carrie, he reflected on his past suicide attempts.
- 17:41Speaker 1: He's described him as calls for help, and he recounted
- 17:45Speaker 1: feeling intense anger and frustration during those moments when he
- 17:48Speaker 1: observed others seemingly enjoying their lives. Now Rob the comedian,
- 17:53Speaker 1: he vividly recalled walking down the stairs surrounded by people
- 17:56Speaker 1: drinking and having a good time, and he just questioned
- 17:59Speaker 1: why were they so happy when he felt so miserable.
- 18:03Speaker 1: It's so important. It's you know, have to remember that
- 18:06Speaker 1: despite the riches and the theme and all the things,
- 18:08Speaker 1: it's like you can still be in a hard place.
- 18:11Speaker 1: And like you said earlier, up. You never know what
- 18:13Speaker 1: someone's going.
- 18:15Speaker 2: You never know. You look at someone like a drew
- 18:16Speaker 2: carrying you think of all that money they have. He's
- 18:19Speaker 2: always got a smile on his face on TV, but
- 18:21Speaker 2: behind the scenes things are really really bad. And now
- 18:24Speaker 2: he's really opening up about it. And you're right, Mark,
- 18:26Speaker 2: this is important and this will save lives and nicest
- 18:30Speaker 2: of the day now I know he's the day naughty, naughty,
- 18:32Speaker 2: naughty Britney Mahones, who is married to Patrick the quarterback.
- 18:37Speaker 2: I don't know any of these people, Travis, I don't
- 18:40Speaker 2: know who you are, but now I do. Plasy's backlash
- 18:43Speaker 2: will be indod towards the stadium staff. So there's a
- 18:47Speaker 2: new video. But CBS, of all people, CBS posted leaving
- 18:51Speaker 2: the stadium with her quarterback husband Patrick, and she s
- 18:54Speaker 2: aised to an employee, where do we go from here?
- 18:57Speaker 2: Fair enough you get lost. However, she's still to spin
- 19:00Speaker 2: a finger around in a circle that the hand gesture
- 19:03Speaker 2: doesn't look so good. Now fans are saying she's a Karen.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Another person is fantastically suggesting you just follow the same
- 19:10Speaker 2: path everybody else follows, Like that, that's how you leave.
- 19:13Speaker 2: You're not the only ones not not a good look. Mark. Like,
- 19:16Speaker 2: I've watched this video four or five times. Cameras are
- 19:20Speaker 2: around being nice, and you know what, you're nice to
- 19:23Speaker 2: Taylor Swift. Be nice to the staff in the stadium.
- 19:25Speaker 2: I didn't see you your twitching your finger at Taylor Swift.
- 19:29Speaker 2: It's interesting, isn't it, Because we all do this. I
- 19:31Speaker 2: don't think we want to admit it, but we all
- 19:33Speaker 2: do it. We're nice to people that we think can
- 19:35Speaker 2: help us, or people that are important, and people that
- 19:38Speaker 2: we don't think matter. Waiters, waitresses, we can be rude to.
- 19:41Speaker 2: I hate that.
- 19:43Speaker 1: I hate it too, And you know, none of us
- 19:45Speaker 1: are perfect. But this could all go away tomorrow. You
- 19:48Speaker 1: know this is a privilege, it's a gift that she has,
- 19:50Speaker 1: and you know, be nice. You have everything.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Be nice. Taylor Swift is handing out hundred dollar bills
- 19:56Speaker 2: in the suite to people who work in food court,
- 20:00Speaker 2: and you're like snapping your finger like it. Okay, let's
- 20:04Speaker 2: same with a moment. Rub you get, rub, rub, you'll rub.
- 20:06Speaker 2: All week. We've been talking about happiness hack, scientifically proven
- 20:09Speaker 2: ways to just hack a little bit of happiness into
- 20:12Speaker 2: your life. One was buying yourself some flowers. It works.
- 20:14Speaker 2: One was smiling it works. Another one and I love
- 20:17Speaker 2: this one is take micro breaks. So research has shown
- 20:21Speaker 2: that if you take a quick break throughout your work day,
- 20:23Speaker 2: it pays off not just emotionally, but also to you
- 20:26Speaker 2: feel happier, more energetic, and fewer negative emotions. What I
- 20:30Speaker 2: do is, every time my clock strikes the top of
- 20:34Speaker 2: the hour, I take a minute to reset my hour.
- 20:38Speaker 2: I reset my day literally twenty four and I'm oh,
- 20:41Speaker 2: I'm not wake twenty four hours a day, but if
- 20:42Speaker 2: I was, every hour reset, So for the hours that
- 20:45Speaker 2: I'm awake, I really think about it. I make a
- 20:48Speaker 2: conscious decision, and even if it's just the thirty second
- 20:52Speaker 2: just reminder to be happy. I do it every single hour.
- 20:55Speaker 2: So at the top of the hour, I'll see the
- 20:57Speaker 2: clock and I'll just stop for a second, maybe a
- 20:59Speaker 2: couple of seconds, be a moment and say, Rob, You've
- 21:02Speaker 2: got a good life. Be happy. It works. Take little
- 21:06Speaker 2: micro breaks. Hey, that's it for today. Thank you so
- 21:09Speaker 2: much for listening to The Naughty Bit Ice with Rob
- 21:11Speaker 2: and Mark show, a production of iHeartRadio. Don't forget to
- 21:15Speaker 2: subscribe on the Iheard Radio app Apple podcast wherever you
- 21:18Speaker 2: listen and leave us a review if you can, and
- 21:21Speaker 2: remember altogether now, if you're going to be naughty, you
- 21:25Speaker 2: got to be nice. Make Jake for it. It's starting,
- 21:36Speaker 2: but nice with Rob
