- 0:01Speaker 1: Every team, every topic, everywhere. This is Believe. We've eaten
- 0:07Speaker 1: a lot of Dollar General food, but today we're looking
- 0:10Speaker 1: for stuff that we've somehow never tried. Each of us
- 0:13Speaker 1: has to find two things. One we actually want to eat,
- 0:16Speaker 1: and one that makes us questions our decisions. Eight foods,
- 0:20Speaker 1: four people. Let's see what Dollar General's hiding. All right,
- 0:24Speaker 1: so I got the knuckleheads here. We have Evan, Colden, Isla.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Usually it's three girls and me, but now it's three
- 0:33Speaker 1: dudes and Isla. So a little different dynamic today. So
- 0:37Speaker 1: we're going to go to Dollar General. We have to
- 0:39Speaker 1: pick out two things from Dollar General that you've never
- 0:42Speaker 1: tried before. And you can't lie, because I will call
- 0:46Speaker 1: your mom and dad and say, Have you tried this?
- 0:49Speaker 1: And then you will be hit with a penalty that's
- 0:52Speaker 1: not going to be fun. So you've got to find
- 0:53Speaker 1: two things. One of them you look at and go, Wow,
- 0:56Speaker 1: I have to try this. It looks delicious. One of
- 0:58Speaker 1: them you're going to be like, Okay, that's interesting, but
- 1:03Speaker 1: I gotta know what it tastes like. So two things,
- 1:06Speaker 1: we gotta try to keep it under $ 10 a piece, okay?
- 1:11Speaker 1: So the goal was gonna be $ 5 a piece, but
- 1:14Speaker 1: it might be harder to do that. So that's the move.
- 1:17Speaker 1: You guys got any questions? Two things from Dollar General
- 1:21Speaker 1: that we've never tried. I picked two, Evan picks two,
- 1:23Speaker 1: Colton picks two, and Isla picks two. Are we good?
- 1:26Speaker 1: All right, let's get into Dollar General. Running around like crazy,
- 1:39Speaker 1: super loud. What's that bud? Um, it's a Kid Cuisine
- 1:47Speaker 1: All Star Nuggets.
- 1:49Speaker 2: I've never had this before and it sounds interesting.
- 1:53Speaker 3: I got these because I think they're really cool and.
- 1:56Speaker 2: They're only, I think, they're only, I believe, a dollar.
- 2:02Speaker 3: So, let's get these little ones. Keeley zombies.
- 2:05Speaker 2: I got brownie, the brownie bites, um, the chocolate and
- 2:11Speaker 2: everything was wicked good. There's like graham cracker.
- 2:13Speaker 3: With chocolate chips in them.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I got fruit stack ice cream.
- 2:19Speaker 1: That was easy to say. What'd you get?
- 2:22Speaker 2: I got a Kool-Aid sour and brownie bites.
- 2:26Speaker 1: What'd you get, Isla?
- 2:27Speaker 2: I'm getting these Keeley zombies.
- 2:31Speaker 1: And these, I don't know how to say it, but
- 2:34Speaker 1: resin i'm going with dill pickle corn puffs and butter
- 2:41Speaker 1: rings never heard of them have you all right we're
- 2:46Speaker 1: gonna get back to the studio beard loss studio and
- 2:53Speaker 1: boy was it an adventure so obviously you guys heard
- 2:57Speaker 1: the goal was to go to dollar general Find some
- 3:01Speaker 1: stuff that we have never tried before. Something that you
- 3:03Speaker 1: looked at and said, I got to try it. It
- 3:04Speaker 1: looks awesome. And something that just kind of intrigued you.
- 3:09Speaker 1: What's intrigued me, Colden?
- 3:10Speaker 2: That looks good.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Pretty much. So obviously, Colden, Evan, Kyla in the studio
- 3:16Speaker 1: jacked up and we haven't even had some sugar yet.
- 3:19Speaker 1: So what do you think of the challenge so far, Ev?
- 3:20Speaker 1: You've done a couple of these. This one, this one,
- 3:23Speaker 1: one of your top ones?
- 3:24Speaker 2: I feel like we've done better challenges, but this one's
- 3:28Speaker 2: not the worst one. Right.
- 3:29Speaker 1: We've probably done better, but this one's different. Right. It's
- 3:32Speaker 1: a lot different. It's something that we haven't really done before.
- 3:35Speaker 1: So we got to mix up. We can't just like
- 3:37Speaker 1: Isla had a thing. She's like, we should do this.
- 3:38Speaker 1: We should do brownie. We've already baked some cakes. We
- 3:41Speaker 1: got to mix it up before we do back to
- 3:42Speaker 1: the cooking. And let's be honest, we had to we
- 3:45Speaker 1: had to hurry up and get through an episode. So
- 3:47Speaker 1: there was barely any cooking. But we showed the videos.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Evan has never had a kid cuisine kids meal. And
- 3:54Speaker 1: I feel like that's crazy. Because your father, he grew
- 3:57Speaker 1: up eating kids meals all the time like this. What's
- 3:59Speaker 1: your first impression? Slide that down. It might be a
- 4:01Speaker 1: little hot, Colton. So grab it on the outside. What's
- 4:05Speaker 1: your first impression on this, Evan, as I show the camera?
- 4:08Speaker 1: We got the chicken nuggets, the corn. They call that
- 4:10Speaker 1: a brownie and some mac and cheese.
- 4:12Speaker 2: I don't think it looks that good. I mean, the
- 4:14Speaker 2: chicken nuggets don't look that bad, but it doesn't look
- 4:18Speaker 2: that good.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Colton, what was your first impression on that? Careful, it's
- 4:21Speaker 1: going to be hot on the bottom. What was your
- 4:24Speaker 1: impression when you first saw that?
- 4:25Speaker 2: When I saw it, I thought you were supposed to, like,
- 4:28Speaker 2: put the sprinkles in it and then, like, stir it
- 4:31Speaker 2: in so, and then you, like, cook it. But just, like,
- 4:35Speaker 2: a pound of sprinkles on the top doesn't look that good.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I want the sprinkles. Isla, what's your thoughts on this?
- 4:41Speaker 2: I don't, honestly, I don't think it looks that bad.
- 4:43Speaker 2: The corn is not looking really good.
- 4:47Speaker 3: It's got, it's, like, watery. It looks really gross.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Most corn is watery.
- 4:52Speaker 3: I don't think the mac.
- 4:54Speaker 2: And cheese and the brownie and chicken nuggets look that bad.
- 4:59Speaker 1: All right, Evan, put a chicken nugget on each plate.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Yeah, the corn smelled a little funky.
- 5:03Speaker 1: You smell a little funky. So Evan's going to come
- 5:05Speaker 1: out there. He's going to give a little bit. He's
- 5:07Speaker 1: going to give a chicken nugget, just one or two
- 5:09Speaker 1: pieces of corn, a little bit of that weird brownie
- 5:11Speaker 1: thing and a piece of mac and cheese or whatever.
- 5:13Speaker 1: We're all going to try it. Isla, you're getting it
- 5:15Speaker 1: first so you can feel free as soon as it
- 5:17Speaker 1: hits your plate. Give it a little try. We're not
- 5:19Speaker 1: rushing to the fridge to grab ketchup or anything or salt, pepper.
- 5:23Speaker 1: We're eating it just as is right from box to
- 5:26Speaker 1: microwave to mouth and then probably toilet.
- 5:29Speaker 3: You just got sprinkles all over the mac and cheese.
- 5:32Speaker 1: What's that, Isla?
- 5:32Speaker 2: The mac and cheese yeah he did the brownie before
- 5:36Speaker 2: the mac and cheese fair enough.
- 5:37Speaker 1: So if you just put some on yeah put a
- 5:39Speaker 1: little bit on colden's yours isla you're trying it over
- 5:42Speaker 1: there get trying it what's your first bite that you
- 5:44Speaker 1: just spit.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Out it it's the this is really soggy.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Okay well it is a podcast you're not on camera
- 5:50Speaker 1: so what is this that.
- 5:52Speaker 3: You're talking about the chicken nugget.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Chicken nugget was a little soggy she says i'm.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Gonna eat the top of it so i can get
- 5:58Speaker 3: a fair tasting Okay.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Get a fair tasting in there. And then obviously, as
- 6:00Speaker 1: soon as it hits your plate too, Colden, we probably
- 6:03Speaker 1: should have gotten multiple spoons, but that's all right. We
- 6:05Speaker 1: got a little corn brownie. You mix them all up anyways.
- 6:07Speaker 1: And a little mac and cheese. So again, once it
- 6:09Speaker 1: hits your plate, Colden, you can dive right into it. Isla,
- 6:13Speaker 1: what else are you thinking? Chicken nugget?
- 6:14Speaker 3: The bottom of it, it's pretty soggy.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Yeah, the bottom of it does look a little wet
- 6:18Speaker 2: and soggy. I think maybe a little bit of the
- 6:21Speaker 2: corn got in it. Take a little bite of, like,
- 6:23Speaker 2: the top of the chicken nugget, and it's really good.
- 6:27Speaker 1: It's going to be soggy and hard.
- 6:29Speaker 3: For a little kid's meal, it's actually pretty good.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Ooh, just based on the chicken nugget. Mm-hmm. Okay. Thank you,
- 6:34Speaker 1: Food Master Evan. This is what we got going on
- 6:37Speaker 1: right here. I'm going to save the dessert for last.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Nah.
- 6:42Speaker 1: I'm going to get a little bit of this corn.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Corn's not bad.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Chicken nuggets aren't the best.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Corn tastes like corn.
- 6:48Speaker 2: I really like chicken nuggets. Oh, you like chicken nuggets
- 6:51Speaker 2: in general?
- 6:52Speaker 1: All right, let's try this chicken nugget you guys are
- 6:54Speaker 1: complaining about.
- 6:55Speaker 2: It's not great. Definitely not normal. The corn's really not
- 6:58Speaker 2: that bad. The corn just tastes like normal corn. Corn's
- 7:01Speaker 2: not that bad. It's just I've never been a fan
- 7:04Speaker 2: of corn. And then I got my mac and cheese
- 7:06Speaker 2: sprinkles with brownie on it.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Mac and cheese is better than I thought.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Yeah, the mac and cheese doesn't look horrible.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Which name with sprinkles? It's kind of like a sprinkle
- 7:11Speaker 2: mac and cheese.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Yeah, it's kind of good. I really like it.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Do or don't?
- 7:16Speaker 3: Try this.
- 7:16Speaker 1: No.
- 7:16Speaker 2: I like the mac and cheese. I think the mac
- 7:18Speaker 2: and cheese is probably one of the best things right now.
- 7:20Speaker 2: The brownie is pretty good. I like the brownie. The
- 7:22Speaker 2: bite that I took is not good. The sprinkle mac
- 7:25Speaker 2: and cheese is good.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Okay. Well, I don't think I'm going to finish this
- 7:28Speaker 1: chicken nugget.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Nobody's finishing that.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I know somebody will.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Biggie? Nope.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Chicken nugget, buddy. Hey, Vern.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Vern.
- 7:35Speaker 2: I can Vern my chicken nugget.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Vern.
- 7:37Speaker 2: All right.
- 7:38Speaker 1: There we go. Vern gets one. No more for the dogs.
- 7:40Speaker 1: That's the one speediest snack. All right. So let's break
- 7:43Speaker 1: this down. Chicken nugget. 1 through 10. 1. I was
- 7:46Speaker 1: going to say like a 2.4. I'm going to.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Say maybe a 1.5.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Kyla?
- 7:51Speaker 2: 1.5.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Honestly, the top of it's not that bad.
- 7:54Speaker 2: I honestly think 3.2.
- 7:55Speaker 1: 0.2?
- 7:55Speaker 3: Yeah. 0.2.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I said 3.2. Oh, 3.2. I thought she's like, I'm like, 0.2,
- 8:04Speaker 2: that's not that good.
- 8:06Speaker 1: So we're landing right around a 2-ish, 2.5 for a
- 8:09Speaker 1: chicken nugget. Now, if we would have taken them and
- 8:11Speaker 1: put them in the air fryer, do you think it.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Would have been better? Oh, yeah, the chicken nuggets probably
- 8:14Speaker 2: would have been better. Crispy. Yeah.
- 8:16Speaker 1: All right, Evan, what are you going in for a
- 8:17Speaker 1: second bite of? Brownie. Oh, the brownie. What do we
- 8:20Speaker 1: think of the corn? Corn just tastes like corn. It's
- 8:22Speaker 1: going to come out, chew it up, still come out whole.
- 8:23Speaker 1: It's kind of weird. Corn's not bad. Corn's corn. Corn's corn.
- 8:28Speaker 2: The mac and cheese without the sprinkles is better.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Mac and cheese not bad?
- 8:31Speaker 2: No, it's not bad, but it's not good.
- 8:33Speaker 1: And the brownie?
- 8:35Speaker 2: Delicious.
- 8:35Speaker 3: I love it.
- 8:36Speaker 1: So you would say that you would buy this for
- 8:37Speaker 1: the brownie, but if you were, so say right now,
- 8:39Speaker 1: if you were like, oh, I can have anything I
- 8:41Speaker 1: want to eat, this and that, are you going to
- 8:42Speaker 1: go pick up a kid cuisine at Dollar General for
- 8:44Speaker 1: a meal?
- 8:45Speaker 2: Not a chance.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Do you think it fills you up as a kid
- 8:48Speaker 1: going into sixth grade and athlete?
- 8:49Speaker 3: No.
- 8:50Speaker 1: How many of those do you think you'd have to
- 8:51Speaker 1: eat if everything was delicious?
- 8:53Speaker 3: Three.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Three of those.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Two, I'd say.
- 8:56Speaker 1: That's like 18 chicken tenders.
- 8:58Speaker 2: I don't like chicken tenders.
- 8:59Speaker 1: So why would you get this one?
- 9:00Speaker 3: I wouldn't.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Why didn't you cook it?
- 9:03Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Because he's never had one. The brownie looked good. But
- 9:07Speaker 2: he's had like everything that's in it. But he's never
- 9:10Speaker 2: had one like made like the chicken nugget homemade and
- 9:13Speaker 2: like all that. Okay.
- 9:14Speaker 1: All right. So that's Evan's first one. The Kid Cuisine. Overall,
- 9:19Speaker 1: we're not buying this again.
- 9:20Speaker 2: No.
- 9:20Speaker 1: We're going to move on. That's pretty good. Let's go
- 9:23Speaker 1: right with Colden's. We got a drink. So, Isla, why
- 9:25Speaker 1: don't you get up, serve every one of us a
- 9:27Speaker 1: drink quietly, and hand me the main bottle. Because you're
- 9:31Speaker 1: sitting right there.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Okay?
- 9:34Speaker 1: Alright, so listen, we're going to take a drink of
- 9:36Speaker 1: this all together, or as you get them, take a drink,
- 9:38Speaker 1: try it. We don't have to wait all together. And
- 9:40Speaker 1: then we'll go from there. It's some kind of stuff.
- 9:43Speaker 2: It smells good.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Does it smell good?
- 9:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Alright, let's remember, let's not spill it. I'm looking at them,
- 9:50Speaker 1: they're not on camera. Evan gave a, like a, Huh.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I don't know if I like.
- 9:54Speaker 2: This it's not that bad it's sour than you think
- 9:57Speaker 2: it was.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Nope i don't think it's gonna be really sour it.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Really isn't it's it just has like a tiny little
- 10:02Speaker 2: sour flavor.
- 10:04Speaker 1: So it is kool-aid sour frostbite we all assumed potentially
- 10:09Speaker 1: some kind of blue raspberry.
- 10:10Speaker 2: It does it definitely tastes like blue raspberry i like
- 10:13Speaker 2: it yeah yeah yeah it's probably one of the best
- 10:16Speaker 2: ones so far it's better than the kids cuisine I
- 10:20Speaker 2: said so far still.
- 10:21Speaker 1: It's the best drink we've had.
- 10:22Speaker 3: The only drink we had.
- 10:23Speaker 2: The only drink we got.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Nobody else knows what we got.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Spoilers.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Yeah, this isn't bad.
- 10:29Speaker 2: No, it isn't. I don't really get that sour, but.
- 10:32Speaker 1: I don't know if it's diluted a little from... The ice?
- 10:35Speaker 1: But I only put three ice cubes in it.
- 10:36Speaker 2: It's probably a little watered down, but... I mean, it
- 10:39Speaker 2: was warm, so... I mean, it's good. It is. You
- 10:42Speaker 2: definitely can taste a little bit of that sour flavor.
- 10:45Speaker 1: If you chug it, it gets kind of sour.
- 10:47Speaker 3: It does. Nope.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Well, all right. I mean, this is not bad. Of
- 10:50Speaker 1: all the Kool-Aids, I would not pick a Kool-Aid sour.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Last week, you brought home the Kool-Aid package. You mix
- 10:55Speaker 1: it up and drink it.
- 10:56Speaker 2: It was very watery. Yeah, we put too much water
- 10:59Speaker 2: in it.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Oh, I can't read the directions.
- 11:01Speaker 2: We didn't.
- 11:02Speaker 1: And... Did you put sugar in with it?
- 11:04Speaker 2: Two cups of sugar. Didn't get any of it.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Isn't that crazy how much sugar goes into Kool-Aid?
- 11:09Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 11:10Speaker 1: And how it's not great for you? How much sugar
- 11:12Speaker 1: do you think's in this bad boy?
- 11:13Speaker 2: Um, a lot.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Just 20 grams? Not bad. That's... 100 calories a bottle. Interesting. Kool-Aid.
- 11:20Speaker 2: We both got, like, half a cup. We both got, like,
- 11:22Speaker 2: half a cup, though. So maybe about 50 pounds.
- 11:26Speaker 3: More. 2015.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Yeah, she doesn't know what she's talking about. Yeah, 25.
- 11:32Speaker 1: 25 calories?
- 11:33Speaker 2: No, 25 grams of sugar.
- 11:35Speaker 3: About 25.
- 11:35Speaker 1: 20 total, so then you divided it by 4. Do
- 11:37Speaker 1: you still think it's 25?
- 11:39Speaker 3: Oh, no, it's 5.
- 11:40Speaker 1: You need to go back to school.
- 11:42Speaker 2: But we didn't drink all of it, though. We both
- 11:44Speaker 2: only got like half a cup, and our cups are
- 11:46Speaker 2: like tiny.
- 11:46Speaker 1: So you got a half of a half of a cup?
- 11:48Speaker 3: Uh-huh.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Which is a quarter cup.
- 11:50Speaker 2: I'd say 5 grams per cup.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Okay, we'll go with five.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Okay, good.
- 11:53Speaker 1: All right, finish them up. We're going on next. We're
- 11:55Speaker 1: going to grab Isla. Isla, do you want to do
- 11:57Speaker 1: the zombie or the other one?
- 11:59Speaker 3: Zombie.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Why are you looking around? It's yours. Okay, we're doing
- 12:02Speaker 1: the zombie. Isla went with the Peeler's zombie. This one
- 12:07Speaker 1: was kind of up for debate if it should count
- 12:09Speaker 1: or not, because she's had peelers, but never zombies. The
- 12:13Speaker 1: boy said it was legal. The boy said it was official.
- 12:16Speaker 3: She said she had watermelon ones, I think. And those
- 12:19Speaker 3: are green apple. Yeah, they're great. I mean, I've never
- 12:22Speaker 3: had one.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Pass them.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Grab one, pass it around. I'm going first.
- 12:28Speaker 2: She tried to peel them.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Yeah, you peeled them.
- 12:31Speaker 2: She's done them. It's just a gummy. It's just a gummy. Yeah,
- 12:34Speaker 2: the outside's a gummy, but they're peelers.
- 12:37Speaker 3: You can still put that outside.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Yeah, you're supposed to eat the outside.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Do you want to try that again?
- 12:41Speaker 1: No, these are disgusting.
- 12:43Speaker 3: No, I don't like them.
- 12:46Speaker 1: They're disgusting. I'm not fair. That's because I'm a man.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Yeah, these are gross.
- 12:51Speaker 1: These are disgusting, Isla. Can you peel it over there?
- 12:55Speaker 1: I just saw it in my mouth. Did anybody peel? No.
- 12:57Speaker 1: So you guys made fun of me for not peeling them,
- 12:59Speaker 1: and then none of you peeled them.
- 13:00Speaker 2: I'm peeling it.
- 13:01Speaker 3: I could never. I don't know how to peel them.
- 13:03Speaker 3: You just bite it, and you're peeling it, peeling it.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Do I already do it? In your mouth.
- 13:07Speaker 2: No.
- 13:07Speaker 1: All right, that was disgusting.
- 13:10Speaker 3: Wait, is it the consistency or just the taste? Every taste.
- 13:15Speaker 3: The texture was gross.
- 13:16Speaker 1: It was a taste for me. I didn't like it.
- 13:19Speaker 1: I didn't enjoy it.
- 13:20Speaker 2: The flavor was good, but I don't think it's bad.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Yeah, the flavor was good, but don't mind me. I'll
- 13:25Speaker 3: take the rest.
- 13:26Speaker 1: All right. Well, I love digging those. So she's going.
- 13:29Speaker 3: I like the watermelon one more. That is not good.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Okay.
- 13:33Speaker 1: We're not going to mix the pool.
- 13:35Speaker 3: I'm going to.
- 13:36Speaker 1: All right. So now it's time for me. We're about
- 13:40Speaker 1: at the halfway point. I'm going to go with the
- 13:43Speaker 1: first thing that caught my attention. In the store was
- 13:46Speaker 1: the Butter Brinks. I have never heard of them. And
- 13:49Speaker 1: I love their slogan. It says, yes, no, maybe cookies.
- 13:53Speaker 3: I don't think I've ever even seen one.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Each cookie says yes or no or maybe. So I
- 13:59Speaker 1: think you're supposed to, like, ask a question before you
- 14:02Speaker 1: grab a cookie. Like, on here it says, movie night.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Do they like me? Will I get my wish? So
- 14:09Speaker 1: what we're going to do is we're going to each ask.
- 14:11Speaker 1: As I hand you a cookie, you have to ask
- 14:13Speaker 1: a question into the mic. And then I hand you
- 14:16Speaker 1: the cookie, and it's going to answer it.
- 14:17Speaker 2: And we got to say if it says yes.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Golden, what's your question?
- 14:21Speaker 2: Are we going to say if it says yes, no,
- 14:24Speaker 2: or maybe?
- 14:25Speaker 1: It has to be a yes, no, or you just
- 14:27Speaker 1: have to ask a question like, will I score a
- 14:30Speaker 1: goal in my soccer game tomorrow? Ask a question like that.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Think of a question.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Did you say now?
- 14:36Speaker 1: Yes.
- 14:37Speaker 3: How about Evan? Going to Evan.
- 14:41Speaker 2: I'm thinking.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Okay, let's go left right. Isla, ask a question.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Am I going to have a good day?
- 14:47Speaker 1: There's half your cookie. Get back to the mic and
- 14:49Speaker 1: read what it says.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Yes.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Isla's going to have a good day.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Will I ever be a millionaire?
- 14:57Speaker 1: It's a good question. Are you seeing how we're doing this, Colton? Yeah.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Okay.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Will he be a millionaire?
- 15:04Speaker 2: Maybe.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Okay.
- 15:06Speaker 3: All right.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Do you have a question over there?
- 15:08Speaker 2: Yeah. Will I ever be a professional athlete?
- 15:12Speaker 1: Athlete? Let's see.
- 15:15Speaker 3: What it says. Come on.
- 15:17Speaker 2: What does it say? No. It goes in order. Yes, no, yes, maybe,
- 15:21Speaker 2: and then no.
- 15:22Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm just reaching and grabbing. There's two
- 15:23Speaker 1: rows of them.
- 15:24Speaker 3: No.
- 15:25Speaker 1: I'm going to say... Did Colden fart earlier in the
- 15:29Speaker 1: kitchen and blame it on the dog?
- 15:31Speaker 2: They were upstairs banging on the door.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Oh, so they were upstairs banging and it sounded like
- 15:38Speaker 1: you raised your leg and a fart came up. Let's
- 15:41Speaker 1: see what the cookie says. Did Colden.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I mean, these are pretty cool, right?
- 15:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Let's talk about the real thing that matters. How are
- 15:53Speaker 1: they tasting?
- 15:54Speaker 2: The taste is pretty good.
- 15:55Speaker 3: I think it tastes like an animal pressure.
- 15:57Speaker 2: That's softened.
- 15:57Speaker 3: It's not to rate the Kool-Aid.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Just imagine.
- 16:00Speaker 1: These are not bad. I mean, there's flavor.
- 16:04Speaker 3: You know what I was thinking?
- 16:05Speaker 2: What? Grandma cookies.
- 16:08Speaker 3: No. Peanut butter on the cookie. That sounds good. Peanut
- 16:14Speaker 3: butter on the cookie. That does sound good.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Yeah, but you put peanut butter on everything.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I did.
- 16:20Speaker 2: I've had one of these before. They taste like something
- 16:23Speaker 2: like that.
- 16:23Speaker 1: It's like putting butter on a Pop-Tart.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:25Speaker 3: I heard it's good. Really good.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Okay, so we're halfway through. So far, of the four
- 16:33Speaker 1: things we've tried, the Kool-Aid, the cookies, the Kid Cuisine,
- 16:36Speaker 1: and the Peelers, what is the best?
- 16:38Speaker 2: Probably the Kool-Aid.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Oh, I'm going cookies. What's yours, Isla?
- 16:41Speaker 3: Kool-Aid.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Kool-Aid.
- 16:43Speaker 2: All right.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Three Kool-Aids and a cookie. Do they all start with C?
- 16:46Speaker 3: Mm-hmm. Wrong.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Sing that song on here, because then YouTube will give
- 16:50Speaker 1: us a strike. Sing it in your brains and stop
- 16:51Speaker 1: doing your weird little dances.
- 16:53Speaker 3: All right.
- 16:53Speaker 1: We're back to Evan. Round two. Evan went with a theme, apparently.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Put these on the table for me, Isla. There are
- 16:59Speaker 1: the cookies. Send them down over there. Evan went with
- 17:02Speaker 1: a theme, and he went with... Frollies. Fruit stacks. Why'd
- 17:07Speaker 1: you go with this, Evan?
- 17:08Speaker 3: They look good. Oh.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Something we've never had. I've never had these. Anybody else
- 17:12Speaker 1: have these?
- 17:12Speaker 3: No.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Nope. There is two in one. It's a big package.
- 17:17Speaker 3: Okay.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Well, we might pass them down all around. And do
- 17:21Speaker 1: you think we all need our own?
- 17:22Speaker 3: I think we should.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Because there's three different flavors on it.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Oh, where are the cookies at? Will I get a
- 17:28Speaker 1: flavor I like?
- 17:29Speaker 2: Maybe.
- 17:29Speaker 1: All right. Let's try to not make too much noise.
- 17:33Speaker 3: Okay.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Okay. Can you guys guess the flavors before you eat?
- 17:37Speaker 2: Yes. Strawberry.
- 17:38Speaker 3: Strawberry.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Strawberry, lime, gin, probably either lime or kiwi, yeah.
- 17:46Speaker 3: The strawberry tastes like green apple. Strawberry?
- 17:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Strawberry tastes like... Wait, there's the little dots are chocolate.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Why not try watermelon or pineapple? At Frollies, we love
- 18:02Speaker 1: creating a fruity snack. Our ice pops are bursting with
- 18:06Speaker 1: flavor again let's not you know chew them right into
- 18:08Speaker 1: the microphone people are you know trying to listen to
- 18:10Speaker 1: this i was trying to see which flavors were in
- 18:13Speaker 1: here it's on the front it's on the front it
- 18:16Speaker 1: doesn't say it just shows pictures.
- 18:18Speaker 2: It shows green apple strawberry and orange.
- 18:22Speaker 1: No artificial colors or flavors these are pretty good kind
- 18:27Speaker 1: of this is my new number one uh-huh yeah.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Yep it's the strawberry one is kind of giving medicine
- 18:33Speaker 2: like the after yeah like what like medicine I think
- 18:36Speaker 2: it tastes.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Like green apple.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Well, that's what it tastes like.
- 18:40Speaker 2: The orange is wicked good. It kind of tastes like
- 18:43Speaker 2: the orange medicine.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Back in my day, you know what? Medicine tasted like medicine.
- 18:49Speaker 1: They weren't like, would you like your medicine strawberries? I
- 18:53Speaker 1: was like, no, it's going to taste like the smell
- 18:55Speaker 1: of paint. And it's going to burn all the way down.
- 18:58Speaker 3: The apple is good.
- 19:00Speaker 1: You guys ever remember Schwan's Man? The big yellow truck
- 19:03Speaker 1: that had freezers all in there that would come to
- 19:05Speaker 1: your house. You remember that?
- 19:07Speaker 3: No.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Well, Schwann's man had this orange push-up style, like Flintstone ones. Wow.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Or yeah, they had push-up pops at school. Oh, really? Mm-hmm.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Orange ones? All the flavors.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Are you kidding?
- 19:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:20Speaker 3: I only have ice cream sandwiches in it. There you go, kid.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Ice cream sandwiches, nachos. A bunch of stuff. A bunch
- 19:27Speaker 2: of stuff. Ice bomb pops.
- 19:29Speaker 3: You want bomb pops like that big. I need to
- 19:31Speaker 3: go to your school.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Wait a minute.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Orange tastes like orange creamsicle.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Orange tastes like $ 3.
- 19:35Speaker 2: The orange kind of tastes like an orange cream soup. Yeah.
- 19:37Speaker 1: The orange is the best. I don't, whatever these little
- 19:40Speaker 1: bat things are.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Chocolate butt.
- 19:42Speaker 1: I don't like it. You can make sure when you're
- 19:44Speaker 1: eating your ice cream, you got it backwards on the mic, bud.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Because everybody's just hearing you eat. and I'm gonna have
- 19:48Speaker 1: to edit it out. It's gross.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Alright.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Alright, we gotta get through this so either finish these
- 19:53Speaker 1: up quickly or put them down on your plate and
- 19:55Speaker 1: finish them later. Because nobody wants to sit here and
- 19:57Speaker 1: watch an episode of us hanging out.
- 19:59Speaker 3: Nice.
- 20:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna finish mine because that's what a man does.
- 20:03Speaker 2: My teeth are.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Sensitive right now. I just got my big teeth.
- 20:06Speaker 1: You just got sensitive teeth.
- 20:07Speaker 3: I don't like your hair.
- 20:09Speaker 1: I think orange is the best. We'll get on and
- 20:11Speaker 1: finish it and put it in a wrapper and just
- 20:13Speaker 1: leave it on your plate. Because we got other things
- 20:15Speaker 1: to try. Or just, like, let's set it on your
- 20:17Speaker 1: plate whenever you want to. I got an ice cream headache.
- 20:20Speaker 2: That's what happens when you eat the whole thing in
- 20:23Speaker 2: three bites.
- 20:25Speaker 1: My brain is so big that it's easy to freeze.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Or it's so small.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Let's hear Mr. Sensitive Teeth. So, he's got my real teeth.
- 20:34Speaker 2: So, actually, his brain was like the peelers on this packaging.
- 20:39Speaker 2: When you peel it flat. Because he used an eraser
- 20:42Speaker 2: when he was younger. Took out his brain and just erased.
- 20:45Speaker 3: All the bumps. So now he has no brain knowledge.
- 20:48Speaker 3: That's what happened. That's sad. That's what happened. Yeah. How
- 20:53Speaker 3: would you move without your brain?
- 20:54Speaker 2: I feel like you just like. No, he like lifted
- 20:57Speaker 2: his lid, took his brain out and erased it. Without
- 21:01Speaker 2: your brain, you can't do anything.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Moving on. Where are we at right now? In the order,
- 21:07Speaker 1: we have the Kip Cuisine, we have the Kool-Aid, we
- 21:10Speaker 1: have the cookies, and we have the ice cream. What's
- 21:13Speaker 1: our number one? Ice cream.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Kool-Aid.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Ice cream. Ice cream is the winner for me so far. Again,
- 21:22Speaker 1: who's up next? Then went with thin, crispy, crunchy, brownie
- 21:29Speaker 1: brittle chocolate chip.
- 21:31Speaker 3: I'm excited.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Why'd you go with this, Colton?
- 21:33Speaker 2: It just caught my eye and looked wicked good.
- 21:36Speaker 1: What caught your eye? The picture of.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Yeah, the picture of the brownie. It kind of looked
- 21:40Speaker 2: like a cookie when I saw it.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Like a chocolate, chocolate cookie.
- 21:44Speaker 2: But then I read and it said brownie.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Not a chocolate cookie, but a chocolate, chocolate cookie.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Yeah, a chocolate, chocolate cookie.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Chocolate, chocolate cookie. Sorry for the noise. I'm going to
- 21:53Speaker 1: open these up. This is Taryn Eat or Tor. Do
- 21:57Speaker 1: I have to eat the bag?
- 21:58Speaker 3: No, don't eat that one.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Huh, things are very... I don't know if I'm going
- 22:02Speaker 1: to cop it. I made them scissors.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Yeah, get them scissors.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Care and go. I tore. We don't go. Thank you.
- 22:10Speaker 1: The scissors.
- 22:10Speaker 3: All right.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Sit back down. Here, you put them on. Let's try
- 22:14Speaker 1: these out. They're already low on my list because they're
- 22:18Speaker 1: on the first one I passed. I thought you got
- 22:20Speaker 1: gypped a little.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Are you kidding me? These actually look like freeze-dried brownies.
- 22:25Speaker 1: You guys try them while we're talking. Try not to
- 22:26Speaker 1: chew into the microphone again. This is not an ASMR
- 22:29Speaker 1: channel you're thinking of. You're like.
- 22:32Speaker 3: Tastes like a freeze-dried brownie. It's actually.
- 22:33Speaker 1: He wants to love it because he picked it out,
- 22:35Speaker 1: but his face is.
- 22:36Speaker 3: He'd buy a chip brand. It tastes like freeze-dried brownies.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Also, it kind of tastes like a thin and crispy
- 22:41Speaker 1: brownie snack. Like it says on the package.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Like a chip brownie.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Delicious down to the crumbs.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Yeah, it really is.
- 22:49Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 22:50Speaker 3: I think this might be number two for me.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I mean, it does say any crispy, crunchy all over it.
- 22:53Speaker 1: I mean, they're good, not great.
- 22:55Speaker 3: I think I like that better than my cream. I do.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Really? Yeah.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Everybody just said that's their number. That's crazy. They're good.
- 23:03Speaker 3: I'm going to have another one so I can make
- 23:05Speaker 3: a taste. So I can make a taste, like, make sure.
- 23:08Speaker 1: So you can make a face?
- 23:10Speaker 3: No, so I can make a, like, make sure that's.
- 23:12Speaker 1: I mean, they're pretty good.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Amazing.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Okay, we'll go with that as our number one. Number one, yeah.
- 23:19Speaker 1: But we still have two to go. Let's finish those up.
- 23:22Speaker 2: We're going to go.
- 23:23Speaker 1: With Isla, who went with Ryzen. I think that's how
- 23:26Speaker 1: you say it. It is a double chocolate indulgence that
- 23:30Speaker 1: lasts and lasts. All you need is one good Ryzen,
- 23:33Speaker 1: because under its rich European chocolate, it's delicious, long-lasting, chewy
- 23:37Speaker 1: chocolate caramel.
- 23:40Speaker 3: So it's going to get stuck in your teeth.
- 23:42Speaker 1: It's going to get stuck in your little sensitive teeth.
- 23:44Speaker 1: And it's probably going to be a candy that's going
- 23:46Speaker 1: to last a while. So if you have to spit
- 23:48Speaker 1: it out, again, we probably don't want to sit here
- 23:49Speaker 1: for 10 minutes. Jeez, you're trying to snatch it out
- 23:53Speaker 1: of my name like a duck. I was just like, hey,
- 23:56Speaker 1: hurry up and grab this and you can have 10 bucks.
- 23:58Speaker 1: It's a good-sized candy. Much bigger than I was thinking
- 24:00Speaker 1: I would be.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Take a bite of it, guys.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Hard candy?
- 24:05Speaker 3: No, it's a lot. I meant kind of.
- 24:07Speaker 1: So on first thing, I would think that wouldn't be...
- 24:09Speaker 1: I was picturing, like, a heart candy. That's kind of.
- 24:14Speaker 2: It's kind of giving... It's kind of giving, like, smoky vibes.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Smoky?
- 24:20Speaker 2: Yeah, it tastes like smoke.
- 24:22Speaker 3: What do they call it?
- 24:23Speaker 1: It tastes smoke, because I sure don't.
- 24:25Speaker 3: No, it tastes chocolatey caramel.
- 24:27Speaker 1: But really, it smells like smoke.
- 24:29Speaker 3: One thing's called, like, where they have, like, a gram
- 24:34Speaker 3: right here. And they have, like, caramel in it. And it's, like,
- 24:38Speaker 3: covered in chocolate? Like, white chocolate? I don't know what
- 24:41Speaker 3: it's called. But either way, that's what it's, like, giving.
- 24:46Speaker 1: I have no idea what you're talking about, but I
- 24:48Speaker 1: put in queso.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Does anybody know what I mean?
- 24:50Speaker 2: No.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Sorry, buddy.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Your chocolate's good. Your caramel's good. I'm going to be
- 24:55Speaker 2: chewing this for a while.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Me too. I like this better than the brownies. No.
- 25:00Speaker 3: This is not number one worthy.
- 25:03Speaker 1: You're crazy. That's fantastic.
- 25:05Speaker 3: So flavors on fire, I don't like that you can
- 25:07Speaker 3: chew it for so long.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Okay.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Well, I mean, it did say that it was going
- 25:10Speaker 1: to be a long-lasting treat, so maybe you'd get more
- 25:13Speaker 1: bang for your buck. No.
- 25:14Speaker 3: Yeah. Nah.
- 25:15Speaker 2: It's sucking all my teeth. You do it with your teeth. Exactly.
- 25:22Speaker 1: It looks like there's a turkey with, uh, It'll look
- 25:26Speaker 1: like Colin would be chewing on a turd. Do you
- 25:29Speaker 1: think I would have said yes, no, or maybe?
- 25:31Speaker 2: I think it would be good with one of those.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Because if you don't have a clean palate, this next
- 25:35Speaker 1: one might throw you for a little loop. We're on
- 25:37Speaker 1: the very last thing of this, and I'm excited about
- 25:41Speaker 1: this one.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Yeah, pickles are disgusting.
- 25:43Speaker 1: They're going away. Something that I've never had. Vlasic, one
- 25:47Speaker 1: of the best pickle brands on the market. Pickle balls. Pickle.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Dill pickle corn balls.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Pickles this much you've never tried.
- 25:55Speaker 1: That these expire on my next birthday oh my gosh
- 26:00Speaker 1: they smell fantastic you don't like pickles but i smell
- 26:04Speaker 1: them yeah i lose.
- 26:06Speaker 2: It's so strong amazing smell it.
- 26:08Speaker 3: Does really smell good.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Okay we'll grab one and pass them out pass them
- 26:11Speaker 1: and pass it back try it isaac.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Oh my gosh that is really good.
- 26:16Speaker 1: So everybody here loves pickles except for colton do you
- 26:19Speaker 1: think your dad would try one.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Of these He's just like me, hates pickles. My mom
- 26:23Speaker 2: would definitely try one.
- 26:24Speaker 3: So good.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Favorite.
- 26:26Speaker 3: Definitely. These are brilliant. I don't think it tastes like.
- 26:32Speaker 2: A normal pickle.
- 26:33Speaker 3: It tastes exactly like a pickle.
- 26:34Speaker 2: It does.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Not bad.
- 26:35Speaker 2: He's never actually, like, tried a normal pickle.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:38Speaker 2: I haven't. I definitely wouldn't snack on these all day.
- 26:43Speaker 2: I would.
- 26:44Speaker 3: I'm a breakfast slouch.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Yeah. That's aggressive. My favorite are still like the brownie things.
- 26:51Speaker 3: All right, so.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Each of us, let's go around. We'll start with Golden.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Rank them from your favorite to your worst.
- 26:57Speaker 2: My goal is the brownies, the ice cream, the chocolate
- 27:03Speaker 2: caramel thing.
- 27:05Speaker 1: What else have we had? Pickles. You said pickles.
- 27:08Speaker 2: Pickles.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Kool-Aid.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Then the pickles and then the kid cuisine thing. Okay.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Ayla, do you know yours?
- 27:16Speaker 3: I said the little brownie.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Thanks, yeah.
- 27:20Speaker 3: Doughnuts. Pickle balls.
- 27:22Speaker 2: The ice cream. And then I would say these. Actually,
- 27:26Speaker 2: instead of the ice cream, whatever this is.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, the resin.
- 27:29Speaker 3: And the ice cream, the peelers, then the little. I meant,
- 27:33Speaker 3: then the drink, then the little.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Okay, Evan, go ahead.
- 27:36Speaker 2: I'm going to go with the pickle, the brownie, the chocolate,
- 27:41Speaker 2: the Kool-Aid, the ice cream, and then the Kid's Cuisine.
- 27:45Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 27:46Speaker 3: The butter cookies are probably second to last.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Okay. Well, you guys have already moved on, so I'm
- 27:51Speaker 1: going to go with the pickle balls. They're fantastic. Then
- 27:56Speaker 1: I'm going to go with, for me personally, I'm going
- 28:00Speaker 1: to go with the butter cookies. Then I'm going to
- 28:02Speaker 1: go with the brownie chips. Then the ice cream. Then
- 28:06Speaker 1: I'm going to go with the peelers. Then I'm going
- 28:08Speaker 1: to go with the kid cuisine.
- 28:10Speaker 3: I'll put the peelers.
- 28:11Speaker 1: Yeah, you just named four things, and I think you
- 28:14Speaker 1: threw a couple in twice, so. Either way, that's all
- 28:16Speaker 1: I got because Golden Monster apparently finishes ice cream. Evan's
- 28:21Speaker 1: eating a bunch of fickle things. Everybody's eating. They're hungry.
- 28:25Speaker 1: And it just is going to add to the chaos.
- 28:27Speaker 1: But we got a good episode here.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Dudes.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Isla. Can't thank you guys enough. Did you have fun?
- 28:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Will you actually think of a good idea for next
- 28:37Speaker 1: week so I don't have to do all the thinking?
- 28:39Speaker 2: No. Damn. Thank you. I'll do another cooking one next time.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Probably not. But we'll be back next week. Same time,
- 28:47Speaker 1: same place. That's all we got. But remember, we got
- 28:50Speaker 1: a lot of leftovers in here from the party and
- 28:52Speaker 1: this and that. So listen, when we're done with this,
- 28:54Speaker 1: you guys need to stay out of my fridge. We'll
- 28:56Speaker 1: be back. Take care, everybody.
- 28:58Speaker 3: Bye-bye.
- 28:59Speaker 2: If you like the show, please take a moment to rate,
