  This is Angel Santana, and today is our final episode of this week's series

  as we prepare our hearts for Palm Sunday.

  All week, we've been talking about getting ready, making room for Jesus.

  Trusting God when things don't go the way we expect, praising before the breakthrough,
• 1:39
  staying faithful when the crowd changes.

  And today, I wanna ask you a simple question. Are you ready for the king?

  Palm Sunday was a moment of decision.
• 1:50
  Jesus entered Jerusalem and the people had a choice.
• 1:55
  They could welcome him or ignore him. They could believe or doubt.

  They could open their hearts or keep things the way they were.

  Some people shouted, Hosanna. Some people watched from the side.
• 2:10
  Some people didn't understand what was happening at all. But one thing is clear.

  Jesus came. And the same question still exists today.

  Are you or are we ready for him? Not just on Palm Sunday. Not just in church.

  Not just when life is easy. But in our everyday lives. Are we ready to let him guide us?

  Are we ready to trust him when the road is hard?
• 2:39
  Are we ready to follow him when we don't understand?

  In Zechariah 9, verses 9, it says, Look, your king is coming.

  Your king is coming to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey.

  Slowly riding on a donkey. Your king is coming.

  Not someone else's king. not just the
• 3:04
  people in the Bible your king coming into
• 3:08
  your life coming into your situation coming into
• 3:11
  your struggles coming into your heart but here's the thing we have to be ready

  sometimes we want God to come in but we don't want anything to change we want
• 3:25
  peace but we don't want to let go of worry.

  We want direction, but we don't want to give up control. We want a blessing,
• 3:35
  but we don't want to trust the process.
• 3:38
  Palm Sunday reminds us that welcoming Jesus means opening the door fully.

  It means saying, Lord, come into my life, even if it means I have to grow.

  Even if it means I have to change.
• 3:52
  Even if it means I have to trust you more than I am used to.

  This week's is about preparation.

  Not perfection, not having everything figured out, just preparing your heart,

  making space, letting go, trusting, believing.

  And now, as we head toward Palm Sunday, I want to leave you with a thought.

  Jesus is still coming. Jesus is still calling.

  Jesus is still reaching. Jesus is still knocking.

  The question is not if he will come.

  The question is, will we be ready? Will we be ready?

  Let's pray. Lord, thank you for walking with us this week.

  Thank you for teaching us to make room, to trust, to praise, and to stay faithful.

  As we prepare for Palm Sunday, help us open our hearts to you in a new way.

  Give us the courage to follow you, the faith to trust in you,

  and the peace that comes from knowing you are always with us.
